Stacie finished with Charlotte's hair with a smile. The 3-year-old looked up at her expectantly. The tall brunette smiled and said, "Perfect."
Charlotte smiled and ran over to the makeup table and climbed over the chair, standing on it and smiling as she saw herself in the mirror. Stacie had pulled her medium length brown hair into two French braids, putting flowers all over it and spraying it with hairspray with glitter.
"It looks good, huh? What do you think your mothers will think when they see your hair?" Stacie asked.
"Pwetty." Charlotte said and turned to Stacie. "Dwess now, Aunt Tacie!"
"Come here, let's get this amazing dress on." Stacie smiled.
Charlotte got off the chair and ran over to the bed, where a white dress with baby pink details and white shoes lay. She clapped her hands excitedly and jumped up and down.
"Okay. Let's get this off." Stacie took off the dress Charlotte was wearing and was about to put on her tights but stopped. "How about you go to the bathroom before we put this on? We don't want any accidents on the pretty dress now, do we?"
"No." Charlotte said and ran to the bathroom. "Come on, Aunt Tacie!"
Stacie giggled and ran after her. She helped her and then they back to the bedroom.
"Arms up." Stacie said and Charlotte raised her arms. Stacie put on the white tights then the dress and tickled under the child's armpits, making her laugh. "All done."
"No done. Now the shoes!" Charlotte said.
"Oh yes! Hop up." Stacie said.
Charlotte climbed up on the bed with difficulty. She then sat on the edge with her feet hanging out.
Stacie put on her shoes and stepped back, admiring the child.
"You look beautiful, Char!" She said. "Wait until your mothers see you."
"They awe pwetty too." Charlotte said.
"I know. You three are such a beautiful family." Stacie said.
Charlotte smiled widely.
"We should get going. Let's see if Aubrey is ready." Stacie said, grabbing her hand.
Stacie had her bridesmaid dress on, it was a baby pink, one-shoulder dress and her hair was in a side bun. She went to the next room and found Aubrey looking at herself in the mirror. Her dress was just like Stacie's as was her hairdo.
"You look pwetty, Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said before Stacie could.
Aubrey turned to Charlotte with a smile.
"You look beautiful too, Char." She said.
"Thank you!" Charlotte said, though it sounded more like a "fank you".
"What about me?" Stacie pouted.
Aubrey chuckled and shook her head, giving the tall brunette a kiss.
"You look beautiful, too." She said.
Stacie smiled.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Stacie said. "We don't wanna keep the brides waiting."
"Yay!" Charlotte said. "Let's go!"
Aubrey grabbed Stacie's hand and followed Charlotte out of the room.
"Char, don't run!" Aubrey said.
Charlotte immediately stopped and waited for her aunts. She grabbed Aubrey's hand and they went downstairs to the garage. Aubrey got in the driver seat, Stacie buckled Charlotte in and got in the passenger seat.
They got in the church and Aubrey parked the car. Stacie helped Charlotte out while the blonde grabbed some flowers that she had in the trunk.
"Come on." Aubrey said and they got in the church.
Charlotte was amazed by the beauty of it but she didn't say anything. She knew that inside the church, you're supposed to be quiet, not make a fuss.
"Char, let's go inside and sit down so we can put some lipstick on you." Stacie said.
"I'm hungwy." Charlotte said.
"Okay, so maybe we should get you something to eat before we put on the lipstick, huh?" Stacie said.
"Stace, I'm gonna give the flowers to Helen and I'll be with you guys in a second okay?" Aubrey said. "Chloe's parents are in that room, Beca's parents are coming."
Stacie nodded and gave the blonde a kiss before going inside the room Aubrey pointed out. She found Sophia and Mike sitting, chatting animatedly.
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Beale!" Stacie said.
"Hello Stacie." Sophia smiled.
"Gwandma!" Charlotte ran to her grandmother's arms, hugging her tight.
"How are you, Char?" Sophia smiled.
"Appy!" Charlotte smiled bigger.
"Yeah?" Sophia asked and the child nodded.
"What about me? Aren't you gonna give your grandpa a hug?" Mike asked.
Charlotte giggled and hugged him tight. He placed a kiss on top of her head.
"Char, we have donuts here, do you want one? Maybe just a half?" Stacie said.
"Dinner is gonna be late, give her a whole donut." Sophia said,
Stacie grabbed two napkins and a donut. She gave them to Charlotte and the child took a bite.
"How is Chloe?" Stacie asked.
"Oh, nervous beyond imagination." Sophia said.
"She thinks she's gonna trip or fall or make a fool out of her." Mike said. "We tell her that it's normal, but she's still nervous."
"Maybe she'll calm down when she sees Beca walking down the aisle." Stacie said.
"Yeah." Mike smiled.
Once Charlotte finished eating, Stacie cleaned her up and put on a pink lipstick on her and smiled.
Aubrey came in and greeted Sophia and Mike before sitting down.
Charlotte was starting to get impatient, so that's why Aubrey brought coloring books but only brought pencils, know they'd make a smaller mess than pens would.
"Alright. It's time. Come on, Char." Aubrey said.
"Mommy and Mamma get mawwied?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah." Aubrey said.
"Yay!" Charlotte said with a smile.
Charlotte was gonna bring the rings, so Sophia and Mike stayed with her until it was time.
Charlotte grabbed the rings and held them tight, she didn't want to lose them. She carefully walked down the aisle exactly the way she'd rehearsed. She wanted to be perfect for her mothers' wedding.
She smiled wide when she saw people smiling at her. She loved getting attention. She stopped in front of Aubrey and Stacie and stood there.
She smiled when she watched her mothers. She was just so happy she wanted to start jumping. She looked up at Stacie and the brunette smiled down at her.
The entire crowd watched as Chloe and Beca vowed to always love each other and to show Charlotte what it was like to treat a person with respect and honesty, so she could grow up to be a wonderful person too.
When the priest said, "you may now kiss the bride" Charlotte squealed in happiness and everyone started applauding. Beca and Chloe pulled apart and looked at their daughter. Charlotte ran towards them and Chloe picked her up, kissing her cheek and kissing Beca again. Charlotte continued applauding and cheering.
oO0Oo
Charlotte yawned again and rested her head against her brunette mother's chest. She snuggled closer and closed her eyes.
Beca kissed the top of Charlotte's head and hugged her tighter.
"Char? Baby? Maybe grandma and grandpa should take you home now." Beca said.
Charlotte nodded and yawned again. It was past her bedtime but it was so worth it. She had a blast.
Sophia and Mike agreed to stay with Charlotte for the night so Beca and Chloe could have a proper wedding night. Charlotte was actually gonna stay with them while the two women were on their honeymoon. They were gonna go to Hawaii, stay in a resort, it'd be really romantic, Chloe had been planning that for weeks.
They were gonna move to LA at the beginning of the following year, everything had to be ready. They had already found a house, a school Charlotte could go to and places Beca and and Chloe could work.
Beca smiled as her in laws took her daughter home and turned to her new bride. Everyone had gone home now, the ones left were the ones organizing the room.
"How about we go, Mrs. Mitchell?" Beca asked.
Chloe smiled and gave her a kiss.
"As you wish, Mrs. Mitchell." She smiled.
The two went to their suite. Obviously, the honeymoon suite. They were so happy to be officially married, they spent the entire night showing one another just how much they loved each other.
