Chloe and Beca were gonna be gone for four days, which was way too much for Charlotte's liking. She wanted to be with her mothers since she barely got to spend time with them since their wedding.
At her grandparents' house, she'd spend a good portion of the day asking when her mothers were gonna return, the other portion she'd check the door each time she thought she heard movement, but pouted and her eyes filled with tears when there was nobody out there.
Stacie and Aubrey came to visit her and that made her happy but still, she missed her mothers.
"How is it staying at grandma and grandpa's house, Char?" Stacie asked.
"Good. I miss mommy and mamma." Charlotte pouted.
"I know. But they're gonna be here before you know it." Stacie smiled and kissed the top of her head.
Charlotte smiled and continued drawing.
"I'm sad you're gonna be away from us when you and your mothers move, Char." Aubrey said.
"Awwww, don't cwy, Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said, crawling onto her aunt's lap and hugging her.
"Are you gonna visit me sometimes?" Aubrey asked.
"Yes." Charlotte said.
"And you're gonna let me visit you?" Aubrey asked.
"You and Aunt Tacie." Charlotte said.
"Good." Aubrey moved closer to her and whispered, "And you're gonna tell me as soon as your mothers decide to have another baby, right?"
Charlotte lit up and looked up at the blonde with a big smile.
"Yes, Aunt Aubee!" She said.
"I'll be the first person you'll call, right?" Aubrey asked.
"Wight." Charlotte nodded.
Aubrey smiled and kissed the child's head.
"I wish I could take you home." Aubrey said, hugging the girl.
"No." Charlotte said giggling.
"Please? You'll be my and Stacie's baby!" Aubrey said.
"Otay. Fow one day." Charlotte said.
"Not forever?" Aubrey pouted.
"No. Mommy and mamma awe fowever." Charlotte said.
"Yes, they are." Stacie said and smiled.
Charlotte smiled before she sat between her two aunts and yawned.
"I think maybe it's getting close to your nap time." Stacie said, checking her watch.
"Awe you gonna sweep with me?" Charlotte asked.
"Do you want me to?" Stacie smiled.
Charlotte nodded.
Stacie smiled and turned to Aubrey.
"Do you mind if I take a nap with her?" She asked.
Aubrey chuckled.
"Not at all." Aubrey said. "But when you wake up we have to leave."
"Okay." Stacie said.
"Don't leave, Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said.
"It's okay, we can hang out tomorrow." Aubrey said.
Charlotte thought about that for a while and nodded. Stacie picked her up and have Aubrey a smile before she went upstairs with Charlotte.
It was little over 45 minutes before Charlotte woke up. She was met with an empty bed, which made her pout and her eyes water. She climbed out of bed and walked down the stairs, hearing voices in the living room.
"Aunt Tacie?" she asked, rubbing her teary eye as she entered the living room looking for her aunt. She found both her her aunts and, to her surprise, her mothers sitting there.
"Mommy! Mamma!" she exclaimed instantly, running towards them. She jumped, literally jumped on their arms.
Chloe and Beca laughed and hugged Charlotte back as she laughed happily. Chloe kissed her all over, while Beca tried pulling her to her side, careful not to hurt her though.
"We missed you so much!" Chloe said, hugging her tight.
"I miss you!" Charlotte said. "Mommy!"
Charlotte threw herself in Beca's arms and giggled. She was just so happy.
"Mommy!" she said.
"I missed you, Char." Beca said, kissing the child's head.
Charlotte smiled.
"Did you like the surprise, Char?" Aubrey asked.
Charlotte nodded and snuggled up to her mothers' side, humming.
"Did you enjoy staying with grandma and grandpa?" Chloe asked, brushing Charlotte's bangs away from her face.
Charlotte nodded.
"Did you behave?" Beca asked with both eyebrows raised.
"But of course she did, right Char?" Stacie said. "She was saying she missed you guys a lot though."
"Aww, we missed you too, sweetie." Beca said.
"But you know in the future, mommy and mamma might have to go away for a little longer." Chloe said.
Charlotte frowned.
"No!" she whined
"It's okay, honey, it'll be okay." Beca said. "Right now, we're gonna eat dinner with grandma and grandpa and then go home, alright?"
Charlotte nodded, relieved. She snuggled closer to Beca and hummed.
Beca smiled, kissing the top of her daughter's head. She loved her so much, she couldn't explain.

Chloe and Beca were slowly getting used to their new lives in LA. Beca had a pretty great job, she had gigs every now and then, while Chloe worked during the morning and two hours after lunch before she would pick Charlotte up from preschool.
The little girl was loving her new school, back in Georgia, she would go sometimes to daycare and she loved it! She would come with a new story and a new drawing every day.
Ever since before their wedding actually, Beca and Chloe had been thinking about having another kid, but the procedure they wanted to go through was pretty expensive, so they were gonna have to wait for at least a year. They didn't tell Charlotte that, even though the little girl had been begging for a baby.
Beca had a day off, surprisingly, since she was gonna go to a club opening to be the DJ, so she was taking this time to spend with Charlotte. She had taken the little girl to the park and she was currently pushing her on the swings. She had taken a long time to get used to it, she was always afraid though. She was always looking around to make sure they were safe, she was just so scared of someone hurting Charlotte.
"Go higher, go higher!" Charlotte said. She was gonna turn four soon and even though her vocabulary had gotten much better over the years, she still struggled with the 'r', so it was still barely there but it was improving.
Beca giggled.
"Higher? You'll go all the way to space!" Beca said.
"No! Higher!" Charlotte argued.
Beca smiled as she saw a young man approaching, probably the same age as her.
"Your little sister is really cute." He said. He wasn't that tall, he had dirty blonde hair and dark brown eyes.
"She's my mommy!" Charlotte said.
"Oh!" He said, looking surprised.
"This is Charlotte, she's my daughter." Beca said, chuckling.
"Well, she's cute." He said.
"Thanks." Beca said with a smile.
The guy took out his hand.
"I'm Derek." He said. "I'm here with my sisters."
He pointed a teenage girl who looked a lot like him and a girl that didn't look older than 4, both sitting on a bench.
Beca looked over and nodded with a small smile towards the guy as Charlotte asked her to stop pushing her because she wanted to go to the sandbox.
"Mommy, let's go!" Charlotte said.
Beca grabbed Charlotte's hand to make sure she wouldn't run from her. She didn't want to keep talking to the guy who was obviously trying to hit on her.
"I'm gonna go." She said awkwardly.
"Oh." Derek said, confused. "Well maybe I'll see you around?"
Beca chuckled.
"Sorry, I'm married." She said, showing her ring.
"Yeah, to mamma!" Charlotte said. "She woves mamma."
"Oh, I see." Derek said.
"Sorry." Beca said.
"No, I'm sorry." Derek said. "Well, I'll let you go. Bye. Bye Charlotte!"
"Bye. Come on, mommy!" Charlotte said, pulling Beca's arm. The brunette awkwardly waved at the guy and followed Charlotte to the sandbox.
Beca sighed in relief as she sat down on the sandbox with her daughter.
"That was awkward." She chuckled to herself.
"You wove mamma." Charlotte said with a frown.
"That's right. I love mamma and no one can change that." Beca said.
Charlotte smiled and continued playing with the sand.

Chloe smiled when Beca came in with Charlotte. The little girl jumped over to her redheaded mother and hugged her.
"Mamma! I miss you!" Charlotte said with a smile.
"I missed you too, my little monkey." Chloe smiled and kissed Charlotte's cheek.
Beca smiled after she closed the door and gave Chloe a kiss.
"You know this guy was kinda coming onto me in the park. Not that he was great at it." Beca said. "But Charlotte was there to defend me, right Char?"
Charlotte nodded with a proud smile.
Chloe chuckled.
"That's good." She said. "Maybe we both should get started on dinner."
"Me too! I wanna help!" Charlotte said.
"Oh, okay, then we all are gonna start dinner." Chloe said, winking at Charlotte.
Charlotte giggled.
"Then come on, Char, let's go wash our hands." Beca said, grabbing Charlotte's hand and leading her to the bathroom.
Chloe giggled and went to the kitchen to put on her apron, with a smile on her face.
