World tensions between the North Altantic Treaty Organisation led by the United States of America and the Warsaw Pact led by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic's, were at an all time high, After the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan
The invasion brought the soviet economy and it's satellite states into ruin
The Soviets had gotten information of NATO countries stationing US nuclear weapons. Which went against the secret agreement made by President John F Kennedy and Premier kruschev. The Warsaw Pact declare's war against NATO in Febuary 9th 1986
1986-1989 A.D
At first, the warsaw pact managed to push into the Rhineland in the first couple of month's and into northern Italy with the assistance of Yugosalvia after the Soviets made a deal stating they will gain Italian territory and can maintain Yugoslavia's neutrality. As the Soviets managed to get to Paris 1987, they were stopped at the gates of Paris with the French military, halting the Soviet advance. In 1988 May 8th, the US army fully mobilized, arrived to the European mainland, pushing the armies of the Warsaw pact back to eastern europe in a about couple of months, due to Warsaw pact troops being exhausted during the war. With NATO pushing the Warsaw pact to eastern europe, uprisings occur in the Soviet satellite states, and a coup is staged by the Red army wanting to end the war. With no option the Mighty Soviet union sues for peace in June 6th 1989. The peace treaty was held in Helsinki, as Finland made a treaty with the union stating they will not join NATO or the Warsaw pact so they can ensure their independence and the Finnish government agreed to hold the treaty in their capital. The treaty of Helsinki stated that all soviet satellite states are to gain independence and withdraw soviet armies stationed in Soviet satellite states., The Warsaw pact to be disbanded, the Soviet union can maintain it's current borders but has to pay 15,000,000,000 in war reparations to NATO member states, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic's to be renamed to the Union of Soviet Soveregin Republics and Yugoslavia to be split into the following nations: Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovnia, Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro. With this, peace was once again found in Europe
Elsewhere across the world, the People's Republic of China took advantage of the war in Europe and declared war on both Mongolia and Taiwan or the Republic Of China in 1987 January 26th. The invasion of Mongolia lasted a month, while the Invasion of Taiwan took an year. With the People's Republic of China winning the East Asian war, they form the Greater East Asian Alliance (GEAA) in January 30th 1989
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea or North Korea, saw what the PRC was doing and declared war on it's Southern neighbour the Republic Of Korea or South Korea on the same year 1987 Febuary 27th. But due to South korea's more advanced military, South Korea won the second Korean war in 7 months. With this the Korean peninsula is reunited and the Republic of Korea becomes the United Korean Republic (UKR) in August 18th 1987
In Indochina, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia unite into one Communist state, and declare war on Thailand and Burma in 1987 March 14th in about 1 and half year's The Communist's win and annex Thailand and Burma, to form the Communists states of Indochina (CSI)
In the Indian sub-continent, Pakistan declare's war on India in 1988 April 1st. as India no longer has Soviet protection, but it is the same for Pakistan as they also don't have US protection. The next year was when the Third Great War ended, the US seeing the atrocities commited by Pakistan in the third Indo-pakistani war, starts supporting India, causing India to win against Pakistan, and in just 4 years India wins the war and annex all Pakistani lands and forms the South Asian Union (SAU)
In South America. Brazil, Colombia and Agentina stike a deal to carve up south America, With Brazil taking Guyana, Suriname, Uruguay and bolivia. Colombia taking Venezuala and equador and Argentina taking Paraguay, chile and Peru. In 1987 March 15th, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina declare war on all of South America, With Colombia taking over Panama and Costa rica. In 4 years Brazil, Colombia and Argentina win the war and take all the land wanted. With this came the birth of Three nations, Gran Colombia, La plata and the Brazilian Federation
The State of Japan remained neutral in the Third Great War, since the nation had no offical standing military ever since the Second Great War. Japan did take advantage of the war, by trading with both the Soviets and US, resulting in an economic boom for Japan. Japan did however allow the US to use the US military bases stationed in Osaka and Okinawa. However with the formation of the Greater East Asian Alliance, Japan quickly begins to rearm themselves, to ensure the saftey of the Nippon homelands
The war lasted three years and yet about 300,000,000 people died in the war, with most of them being civilians. The war caused the European Economic Community to be disbanded along with NATO and the UN to be disbanded after failing to ptevent the war. The most affected nation in the war was the Federal Republic of Germany, with most of the war fought in Germany, the German economy was in shambles. With Germany in shambles this lead to Germany to reach out to Austria, Liectenstein, Switzerland, the Neatherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg and asks them to form the German Confederation. At first Belgium, the Neatherlands, Luxemburg, Switzerland decline, but the German government assured them they can maintain their autonomy in the Confederation, Seeing the state of the recently unified Germany all nations agree to form the German Confederation, and has remained as a neutral nation since it's Creation
In October 16 1989 A.D, the Union of Soviet Soveregin Republics held it's first multi-party democratic election for the first time in it's history, Gorbachev is elected as the Premier of the USSR. The USSR changed it's flag from the hammer and sickle to the White and Dark blue, with a golden star in the middle with a laurel wreath and 15 red stars with gold outlinings around it.
With the Third Great War destroying nearly all of mainland Europe, the US introduced a New calender to the called the Post Great War Era. The Mobile suit impressed the worlds leaders, even if it walked slow and had low mobility. What impressed them was when the Soviet developers said that "This is just the base form of the Mobile Suit, and we estimate that future MS's might be developed to be faster, mobile, powerful and can be able to fly". These words impressed the world leaders enough to buy at least 200 units, thus causing an economic boom for the Soviet economy for at least a decade until nations started developing their own units

The NJM started in PTGWE 0045, the reason the movement was created was for Japan to accept the War crimes commited in East asia and South-East asia, along with increasing the population by decreasing work hours, be a litlle more open to world and allow the Japanese imperial family to have a certain amount of power in Japan
The founder of this movement was Ayaka Kururugi. She believed it was time for to Japan to stop living in the mindset set by the US, and to move on to bright and new future. The US government ignored all of this information, since Hiyama favoured the US. As such he was a valuable asset to the US

With Hiyama's becoming more corrupt and tyrannical, a new group was formed with the backing of the French empire, called the Imperial Restoration Alliance (IRA). Kaname Kururugi was born in PTGWE 0109, at the age of 21 his parents were killed by Hiyama's men, as the Kururugi's wanted keep their movement of change going. But it was due to this they were killed. Kaname at the time was in the military, as he believed that his place is to defend his homeland from foregein invaders. But after awhile he soon realised that the true enemy of the Japan was Hiyama
Kaname had a older brother, who just became a father, and oddly enough the princess of Japan was born on the same day as his son. He also later was killed by Hiyama's men, along with his wife in a car accident. Kaname and his wife Kurenai took their custody of his late Brothers son Satoshi Kururugi. They took care of them as their own son but made him call them Uncle and Aunt

But years later in PTGWE 0112, his family was framed for attempting to rebel against the throne by one of Ricardo's wives. The penrose's pf course denied this accusation, but Ricardo didn't believe them and so they were stripped of their nobility and were exiled to Japan
They were meeting with a man named Tem Ray and his son, Amuro Ray. The reason for this, was to give them a new mobile suit, that the IRA had been funding, with the help of France and Mexico

In April 3rd around noon, massive explosions occured all around Japan, including the US military bases stationed on Osaka and Okinawa. Later about half of the JSDF started occupy cities across southern Japan. All of this was orchaestrated by the IRA
And with this begins the Restoration Revolution
In the first few days of the Revolution, Hiyama's forces where pinned down, but in Kyoto things were going well for him. Kyoto was the headquaters of the IRA, naturally taking down the enemy high command was the obvious thing to do
As the IRA was about to lose Kyoto, beams of light fired upon the JSDF's outdated Fantons. All of the soldiers look up to see the RX-78-2 Gundam, with it's pilot being Kaname Kururugi. Kaname later raised the morale of the soldiers, by destroying more Fantons
With how many Mobile Suits were being destroyed, the revolution ended in just three weeks. And so, on April 29th the Restoration Revolution ended. And born was the United Empire of Japan (UEJ)
Hiyama was not able to get away from Tokyo in time, so he was executed by the IRA. The USA had no choice but to leave Japan, as they no longer have a reason to be in Japan. However they saw this as a good thing, cause now the GEAA, will be more worried about the rise of imperial autocrats, and if there is one thing commumists hate, it's Autocracy

Japan had finally finnished rebuilding it's nation, after 5 years from the Restoration Revolution. It was also during this time, that Japan had begun making a mass-production unit based of the Gundam. They called it the GM
On March 7th, The UEJ declared war on UKR. The UKR had remained neutral throught it's formation, and wanted to form friendly relations with the empire. However Japan could care less than that. The reason for this was, that Korea used to be a colony of the First empire of Japan, and wanted to get Korea back as not an imperial colony but as an vassal state. This not the Japanese empire that once brought hell upon Asia, this a new Japan, and a new empire. But that would change later on in the future
The war lasted about three months, the GM's of the empire, proved to be more effective than the new anf's. Korea was once again apart of Japan

One the CSI has population of 310 million people living in the country, giving the empire additional manpower, Two surrounding the GEAA from the east with a second front in southern China
Learning from their mistakes and the US and France's mistakes, Japan was able to withstand the gurreilla warfare by the Vietnamese forces, along with the fact, with how outadated the CSI military is. within just 8 months, the CSI fell into Japanese rule
Japan carved up indochina into 5 nations all with their own puppet governments. The nations were ,the Kingdom of Burma, the Siamese Empire, the Sultanate of Cambodia and the Viet Empire, the Laos been given to Vietnam

The Japanese were able to rebuild Indochina in a matter of 2 years, the same as well for Korea. It was due to Japan using the Mobile suits for the reconstruction purposes, however they were still under military control, and the Idea was only suggested by the Empress and the supreme commander of the Japanese military Kaname Kururugi
With tbe reconsruction of Indochinese peninsula, and concription of the Indochinese population. Japan declares war on the United States of MaPhilIndo, along with Singapore, Brunei and Timor Leste
This time the war lasted 3 year's. And it was here that the 5 Devil Swords were born. During the war Satoshi Kururugi, the nephew of Kaname Kururugi and Caleb Penrose, the little brother of Carter Penrose along with 3 other's, took over the entire island of Borneo, with in 6 months. The new's sent back to the homelands and the Battlefield raised both the support of the war effort, and the Morale of the troops. They also piloted the new second Generation Gundam Frames

The peace treaty was signed in New Dehli. The treaty stated that, MaPhilIndo will be spilt into two nations the United emirates of Malaysia-Indonesia a dominion, and Japanese Philliphnes a protectrate to the empire, Brunei will keep it's king in exchange they will become a satellite state to the empire and Timor Leste will gain control of the entire Island of Timor, and it's Head of state will be the Japanese imperial family

It was time, the empire had waited for 26 years for this moment. It was the moment were all of their wars would have been paid off. It was time to settle the war they started in China
The Alliance was aware of the empire's goal of taking over east Asia. They have been mass-producing their own version of the mobile suit. The MSJ-06ll-A Tieren ground-type. Based off the Fanton, the Tieren ground-type was indeed better than the slow Fantons and anfs. However the Tieren's are said to last only about an hour, giving it the nickname of "Coffin of the living". However with that said the Tieren had a 40% chance of breaking down, and needed 1/5th of the maintanence of Japans GM's, due to the Alliance focusing more on long term operations
The war started on febuary 14th, the start of the Chinese new year. It was no coincidence that the Japanese attacked them on that year, as it was planned by the Japanese to mock the Alliance forces. The Alliance outnumbered Japan by a lot, however the Japanese had a trick on their sleeves. It was not a new Mobile Suit, nor a new weapon, nor a new Gundam. It was something that the Alliance did not expect
Just 4 years into the war, Japan was able to make a stronghold of Manchuria and southern China. Japan had already taken the entire island of Taiwan, and annexed it into the Imperial homeland, as Taiwan was once a colony of Japan. Even with Japan winning the war on all fronts, their advances were starting to come to a halt, as Alliance forces were beggining to mount a counter-attack. The empire saw this coming, and decided to pull out it's trump card
On August 7th PTGWE 0181, when it seemed that the Alliance was about to start a counter-attack, something unexpected happened. Tibet declared Independence
The declaration of independence surprised the Alliance. They had thought, they had pacified Tibet, same with Xinjiang and Mongolia, it would seem they were wrong. Tibet may have a small population of 5 million, but they have given the Alliance, trouble
The Japanese were indeed the perpetrators behind this scheme. They had been giving aid and weapons to Tibetan sepratists for the past few years, giving the rebels, a sizeable amount of supplies to serve as a distraction. The distraction did work, with Tibet distracting the Alliance for 3 years until Tibet fell. This in turn gave the Japanese enough time to take even more land away from the Alliance, specifically Mongolia and Xinjiang, who happily welcomed the Japanese with open arms. The people of Mongolia and Xinjiang were heavily oppressed by the Alliance, due to their culture and religon
Even after taking over all of the Alliance's nothern territory, they still did not surrender. Of course victory was assured for Japan, however the Japanese were taking huge losses because of the stalemate. The Japanese military high command were all discussing on how to break the stalemate, the discussion was taking them nowhere of course. No one had an idea on how to break the stalemate, not even Kaname Kururugi himself. Then as they were still discussing strategy, a man named proffesser Kenji Kozuki. He didn't give information on the Alliance forces, nor a strategy on how to defeat the Alliance forces. He however gave them a proposal for a Mobile suit, but it was no ordinary Mobile suit. Proffessor Kozuki called it

As the name states, it's sole purpose is a simple one, destroy anything that stands in it's way. The destroy had two modes, the first one being it's Mobile Armour form towering over 38.07 meters and other one it's second form being it's MS form towering over 56.30 meters. For it to live up to it's name, the Destroy is equipped with some of the best weapons available to the empire. The military high command was hesitant on building this weapon, with the empress opposing to build such weapon of mass-destriction. Surprisingly it was Kaname Kururugi who accepted the proposal. The reason behind this was Kaname saw that casualties were rising every day, as the Alliance were now sending in armed civillians, showing how desperate the Alliance was. Living up to it's name it destoyed all of Shanghai and it's defense forces, civillians and military personal alike, were all gone in a blink of an eye. The treaty of Minsk, was held on September 18th. The treaty stated all pre-First Great war german borders were to be returned to the Kingdom and Czehia to annexed, Poland was made into a dominion as the Duchy of Poland and Hungary to be a tributary state with them annexing Slovakia

All of the colonies created their own nation, and later formed a coallition called the United Colony Freedom Front (UCFF). The only colonies that didn't join were the Iberian and Balkan-Anatolian colonies, due to the nations following the Treaty of Svestapol
It all seemed well for the nations of the UCFF at first, until the UEJ revealed their new 5th Generation Gundam called, Gundam X. The Gundam was able to destroy hundreds of MS's witg it's Sattelite cannon, by using the Sattelite built on the moon
