Beca bit her lip as she squeezed Chloe's hand. The redhead squeezed her hand back and offered her a smile.

"So we're really doing this?" Beca asked.

"Yep. No way to back out of it, Mitchell." Chloe said.

"If I wanted to back out of it, I wouldn't have married you." Beca said with a smile. "I want this."

"Good, because I want this too." Chloe said. "Are you sure you don't want to be the one carrying the baby?"

"Nah. I've carried a baby. Plus, I think you will look really cute pregnant." Beca said with a wink.

Chloe giggled. Beca kissed her and the doctor came back in.

They were gonna go with the new procedure. They were one of the first lesbian couples to do it. It was similar to fertilization using a sperm donor, except they were using both their eggs. Well, putting both eggs together. How modern medicine could do that was beyond them but they were told it was efficient and that the baby would be born without any deficiency due to the procedure. Of course, they were told they could only have a girl, which was great.

After the procedure, Beca went home and Chloe went back to work. Beca would work in the afternoon and evening so she could stay at home for a little while.

The two decided not to say anything to anyone, not even their parents, until they were sure they were pregnant. They thought they would save this anxiety of finding out to themselves.

oO0Oo

The next couple weeks were almost pure torture for both Beca and Chloe, because they wanted to take a pregnancy test and didn't at the same time because it coming out negative would be disappointing.

Beca had been working more during the day instead of night and she was already working with a few new artists, making a name for herself, which made both Chloe and Charlotte proud.

There was one day that Chloe was alone at home, she only worked in the afternoon. She had gone to the drug store and bought three pregnancy tests, but she was afraid to take them without her wife being home.

"Come on, Chloe, it'll be great to tell Beca when she gets home!" Chloe said.

She groaned and threw herself back on the couch. She looked at her watch. Beca would be home in ten minutes with Charlotte. She saw the test would be ready in ten minutes so she got up and went to the bathroom. She took the test and put it on the sink. She bit her lip and sighed, deciding that standing there looking at the test wouldn't do her any good, so she went to the kitchen to start making lunch.

She had to admit that when Beca and Charlotte came home, she forgot about the test. Charlotte was helping her in the kitchen (as best as a 3 year old could) and Beca was upstairs putting her stuff away.

"Mamma, can I have orange juice?" Charlotte asked.

"Sure, honey." Chloe said.

Charlotte grabbed her cup, which was on a low cupboard built especially for her, which contained plastic cups, plates, spoons and everything.

"Mamma, can you get the juice?" Charlotte asked. The carton was still out of Charlotte's reach so Chloe smiled and handed her the carton.

Charlotte knelt down on a chair, put her cup down and grabbed the carton with both hands and carefully lowered the carton to her cup. Chloe was watching the whole thing and she smiled when the little girl succeeded and gave her a huge smile.

"I did it, mamma!" She said.

"You did!" Chloe said and kissed the top of her head. "Now you're officially a big girl!"

"Yay!" Charlotte said and frowned. "Where's mommy?"

"She's upstairs." Chloe said. "Honey, taste this and tell me if it's good."

Chloe brought a wooden spoon with red sauce in it and Charlotte ate it.

"It's delicious, mamma!" Charlotte said. "Mommy will love it!"

Chloe smiled.

"Chloe?" Beca said, coming in. "What's this?"

Chloe frowned and looked at what Beca was holding. She froze. It was the pregnancy test.

Charlotte tried to see what Beca was holding but didn't understand what it was.

"Are you pregnant?" Beca asked, tears filling her eyes.

Chloe's eyes widened and Charlotte let out the cutest little gasp, which wasn't heard by the two emotional women.

"I.. I haven't looked at it... Am I pregnant?" Chloe asked, approaching Beca.

Beca just showed her the test, which was positive and Chloe gasped and covered her mouth with her hands, her tears filling with happy tears.

"Oh my God! We're gonna have a baby!" Chloe said.

"We're gonna have a baby!" Beca repeated and hugged Chloe tight before grabbing her face and giving her endless kisses which made the redhead giggle.

The two then turned to the 3-year-old who had the biggest, cutest and prettiest smile they had ever seen, jumping up and down.

"I'm gonna be a big sister?" She asked.

Beca picked Charlotte up and kissed her repeatedly on the face, making her giggle.

"You're gonna be a big sister, Char!" Chloe said, kissing Charlotte too.

Charlotte giggled and smiled.

"Mamma! Call Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said.

"Oh yeah!" Chloe said. "We should call everyone!"

"No, I wanna talk to Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said and crossed her arms. "I pomised."

"Okay, you tell her." Chloe said and kissed the little girl's cheek.

"I'm gonna get the phone!" Beca said, running out of the kitchen holding Charlotte on her hip. She grabbed the house phone and dialed Aubrey's cell phone number before giving it to Charlotte, who held the phone (that was way too big for her tiny hands) against her ear and waited. Chloe approached them and the two women waited.

"Hi!" Charlotte said with a smile. "Aunt Aubee!"

"Hey Char! How are you?" Aubrey asked on the other line.

"I'm good!" Charlotte said and looked up to see Chloe smiling anxiously as well as Beca.

"That's great, sweetie." Aubrey said. "So is there a special reason for you to be calling me?"

"Yes! I'm gonna be a big sister!" Charlotte said.

Chloe and Beca smiled wider when they heard Aubrey squeal and then Stacie join in.

"Oh my God, really?!" Aubrey asked.

"Yes! Mamma is pegnant." Charlotte said.

"That's awesome, sweetie! Are you excited?" Aubrey asked.

"Yes!" Charlotte said.

"Can we speak to your moms now?" Aubrey asked.

"Okay." Charlotte said and gave the phone to Chloe.

Beca kissed her cheek and put her down. Charlotte stood there just jumping and squealing, then she hugged her redhead mother's leg and looked up at her with a smile as Chloe combed her bangs away from her face with a smile.

After a while, Charlotte grew tired of waiting and ran upstairs, going through her stuff and picking out a doll before she came back downstairs and held the doll to Chloe.

"Mamma, I wanna give this to my sister." Charlotte said.

Chloe giggled.

"How do you know it's a girl, baby?" She asked.

Charlotte looked at the doll then she looked down, shy, her little cheeks turning red.

"Because I asked God to give me a sister." She said.

Yeah, Beca and Chloe weren't that religious but they still taught Charlotte about God and how to pray at night.

Chloe wanted to cry at how cute that was. She knew Charlotte always wanted a baby but she never said anything about having a sister.

Chloe smiled and picked her up, kissing her cheek lovingly.

"You are the sweetest child ever." She said. "You know, God must have heard your prayers because you're having a little sister."

Charlotte's face brightened and she smiled widely.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah." Chloe smiled.

"Thank you, Mamma!" She said.

"Well tonight before you go to bed, make sure to thank God." Chloe said.

"I will!" Charlotte said.

Chloe kissed her cheek and put her down.

"Mamma, when is she getting out of you?" Charlotte asked.

Chloe laughed and Beca giggled on the phone with Stacie. She then said bye to them and hung before Chloe could answer.

"Stacie and Aubrey are coming to visit this weekend." She said.

"Oh that's great!" Chloe said.

"Mamma!" Charlotte said.

"What is it, sweetie?" Chloe asked.

"When is my sister getting out of you?" Charlotte asked.

Chloe and Beca giggled again.

"In 9 months, baby." She said.

Charlotte made a dramatic face and slumped her shoulders, letting out a dramatic sigh.

"Mamma, that's too long!" She said.

"I know, sweetie but it that's usually how long it takes." Chloe said.

"Oh! I know what might cheer you up, Char!" Beca said.

Charlotte looked up at Beca.

"Wanna see pictures of mommy when she was pregnant with you?" Beca asked.

"You have pictures? You never showed them to me." Chloe said.

"Yeah?" Beca asked. "I have a whole album about my pregnancy and then of Charlotte as a newborn."

"I wanna see them!" Chloe said.

"Me too! Me too!" Charlotte said raising her hand.

"Well we still have dinner to finish." Beca said.

"Oh right!" Chloe said and ran back into the kitchen.

"Show them to me, mommy!" Charlotte said and pouted.

"We can see them after we eat, alright? And you have to eat everything." Beca said.

"Okay." Charlotte said and looked behind her to see if her redhead mother was there then she turned back to Beca. "Show them to me alone." She whispered.

Beca giggled.

"You're sneaky but I'm gonna show you both, okay?" She asked. "Now let's go help your mother with dinner."

Charlotte pouted and slumped her shoulders dramatically and walked back into the kitchen.

After dinner, Beca grabbed the two albums and the small family moved into the living room to look at the pictures.

"I didn't know you kept a pregnancy album." Chloe said. "I mean you didn't want anyone to know."

"Yeah I didn't, I shut people out and stuff but that doesn't mean I wasn't excited about having a baby." Beca explained.

"Me!" Charlotte said with a smile and raised her left hand.

"Yeah, that was you." Beca smiled.

Charlotte giggled and sat closer to her mother.

Beca opened the album and the first pictures were of her ultrasounds.

"I kept every one of them. There are 6." Beca said.

"Mommy, what is that?" Charlotte asked, pointing the pictures.

"These are ultrasounds. We do that so we can see how the baby is doing inside the mommy's belly." Beca said.

"Oooh!" Charlotte said.

"That is so exciting." Chloe smiled as she looked at the ultrasounds. "That's amazing."

Beca smiled and turned the page. This time it showed her standing on her side lifting her shirt, showing her very flat belly.

"This was the month I found out. I took that when I was in Barden." Beca said.

"Mommy, I'm not in there!" Charlotte said and crossed her arms.

"You are, sweetie but you were very tiny then." Beca said.

The next picture showed Beca in the same pose, her belly again was flat.

Chloe smiled as she saw the happiness in Beca's face in the pictures. She looked in fact very happy.

"Who took these?" She asked.

"My father or Sheila." Beca said.

Chloe nodded and they turned the page. Beca's belly looked a little more round and a little bit bigger but still no one could tell it was because she was pregnant.

"See? I had a little tiny belly." Beca said.

"Oh yeah. Still not noticeable." Chloe giggled.

Beca giggled and turned the page. Her belly did get a little bigger.

"I'm there?" Charlotte asked, pointing Beca's belly.

"Yep. That was the last picture I took before you were born." Beca said.

Charlotte gasped and looked at Beca. The bigger brunette giggled and turned the page. It showed a picture of Beca after she had given birth, she looked tired and Charlotte wasn't there.

"Where is me?" Charlotte asked.

"You were with the nurses. You were such a tiny baby, the nurses had to take care of you before mommy could see you." Beca said.

"Oh." Charlotte said.

Beca smiled and turned the page and Charlotte gasped when she saw Beca sitting on a chair holding a little baby.

"Me?" She asked.

"Yeah, that's you." Beca smiled.

"Awwww!" Charlotte said as if she was seeing a real baby.

Beca smiled and looked at Chloe, who smiled back at her and gave her a kiss.

Beca turned the page and this time, Beca was sitting on the same chair but Chloe was standing, holding Charlotte. She remembered that day, it was before Charlotte was discharged. Chloe had been visiting her for weeks.

"Mamma!" Charlotte said with a smile. "Mamma is holding me!"

"Yep. Mamma came with me every single time." Beca said. "She loved holding you and putting you to sleep."

"I still so." Chloe smiled and Charlotte climbed on her lap. Chloe hugged her and kissed the top of her head.

"I have a video! The doctor filmed my first time seeing Charlotte." Beca said and ran upstairs.

Chloe and Charlotte continued seeing the pictures from the album before Beca returned with a DVD. She put it in and turned on the TV.

Beca came on the screen, in a wheelchair, being pushed by a nurse.

"Your baby girl is here." The nurse said to Beca.

Beca smiled at that and the nurse pushed her close to a crib where a really tiny baby lay, connected to tubes.

Beca's smiled and her eyes filled with tears. She grabbed the baby's tiny hand and wiped her tears with the other.

"She's beautiful." She said. "Hi Charlotte! It's mommy!"

"Hi mommy!" Charlotte said, grinning, earning giggles and kisses from her mothers.

"I love you so much, Charlotte. I'm gonna keep you safe, I promise." Beca said and turned to the doctor. "Can you film her so I can watch it at home?"

The camera then focused on Charlotte. She was only wearing a diaper and she was sleeping. She indeed was the cutest baby ever.

"Mommy has to go now, Charlotte. But I promise I'll be back soon, okay? I love you." She said before letting go of Charlotte's hand, wiping more tears.

"No! Don't go, mommy!" Charlotte said, pouting before turning to her mother. "Why did you go, mommy?"

"Mommy had to see grandpa, sweetie." Beca said. "See? Weren't you the cutest baby?"

"I was!" Charlotte said.

"I love you so much, sweetie. So so much." Beca said, kissing Charlotte's cheek.

"I love you too mommy. And I love you too, mamma." She said looking at Beca then at Chloe.

Chloe smiled at her.

"I love you too, Charlotte." Chloe said.

Charlotte smiled at her mother and cuddled up to her, humming as she did. She yawned and her eyelids started feeling heavy. The last thing she remembered was her mothers putting her to bed.

Yaaaaay! Bechloe is having another kid! Isn't that exciting?!
