Thank you guys so much for the positive response!
The guests were arriving. Chloe's parents had come along with her sister and her family, Beca's parents, Stacie and Aubrey and all the Bellas.
Charlotte was running around telling everyone she was turning four and that she was gonna have a sister soon.
The little brunette was helping her redhead mother putting icing on the cake when her aunts called her to the couch. She skipped over there and sat on Stacie's lap.
"Do you know what you wanna name your sister yet?" Stacie asked, playing with Charlotte's hair.
"No." Charlotte said. "She's still small."
"I know but that doesn't mean you can't think about names." Stacie said.
Charlotte looked like she had just found out something she didn't know and she made a thinking face.
"It doesn't have to be now." Aubrey chuckled.
"Yeah." Stacie said. "So how is your birthday so far? Did your moms wake you up with a cake and singing happy birthday?"
"No, I woke them." Charlotte said. "And mommy and I went to get shoes." She raised her leg and showed them her new shoes.
"Oh that's nice!" Aubrey said.
"Yes!" Charlotte said.
"They're so pretty." Stacie agreed.
Charlotte smiled proudly. She then eyed her aunt Stacie and looked back up at her with a puzzled look in her face.
"Aunt Tacie, are you pregnant too?" She asked.
Stacie and Aubrey blushed and froze.
"No.. Why do you ask?" Stacie asked.
"Why are your boobs big then?" Charlotte asked.
Stacie blushed deeply and choked on her own saliva. Aubrey blushed as well and gave her girlfriend some light slaps on her back.
"What?" Stacie asked.
"Mamma said boobs grow when you are pregnant." Charlotte explained.
"Well sometimes women just have big boobs without being pregnant." Stacie explained while Aubrey tried to contain her giggles.
"Oh." Charlotte seemed surprised. "Mommy says big girls have ha-"
"-Charlotte, sweetie, how about you come here and help me decorate the table with the candy?" Beca said, blushing because she knew what the girl was gonna say.
"Okay." Charlotte said, hopping off Stacie's lap and running out to the backyard.
Beca let out a relieved sigh and looked at her friends.
"Sorry about that, she's in the phase of asking everything and she doesn't really have a filter." Beca chuckled nervously. "This morning she grabbed my boob in the supermarket and asked why they were soft."
Stacie and Aubrey laughed.
"She's so sweet." Aubrey said.
"She is. I know she's just curious and all but I wished we only had to answer these questions when she was older." Beca said.
"You're lucky she didn't ask where do babies come from." Stacie said.
"At the pace she's going, it could be at any moment now." Beca said. "Especially with the baby coming."
"Good luck with that." Aubrey chuckled.
Beca rolled her eyes and chuckled before she met Charlotte at the backyard. The two organized the candies on the table and left the space for the cake.
"You excited?" Beca asked, getting a nod from the girl.
"Yes!" Charlotte clapped.
"Hey Bechloe kid!" Fat Amy said, coming with a big box.
Charlotte gasped and ran towards Amy.
"Hey Amy!" she said.
"This is for you, kid. From the Bellas." Fat Amy said and all the other Bellas came to wish Charlotte a happy birthday and to give her the present.
Charlotte sat on the ground to open the present and then the big white box. Both her and her mothers gasped when they saw a baby that looked just like Charlotte when she was a baby, even her hair and eyes. She was wearing the Bellas uniform and had a yellow and blue Bella scarf around her neck.
"Oh my God, you guys!" Chloe said.
Charlotte lifted the doll and smiled, hugging it tight.
"How did you guys do that? That's Charlotte!" Beca said, her eyes filling with water.
"Well we heard about this woman who makes dolls from baby pictures so we asked Chloe for a picture of Charlotte as a baby and we gave it to this woman. Then we custom made the uniform and got a scarf." Aubrey explained.
"This is so amazing!" Beca said. "That must've cost a fortune!"
"Nah." Stacie said.
"Anything for our mascot." Aubrey said and smiled down at Charlotte, who was talking to the doll.
"How do you say, Charlotte?" Chloe asked.
"Thank you!" Charlotte said. "I love her!"
"You're very welcome, Char." Stacie said with a smile.
"Hey Char, did you see that's you?" Beca said, kneeling down beside her daughter. "See? She's smiling!"
Charlotte looked at the smiling baby and grinned.
"That's me?" she asked.
"Yes." Beca chuckled.
"So what are you gonna name her, Char?" Chloe asked.
"Charlotte." Charlotte said with a smile, making everyone laugh.
"But that's your name, honey." Chloe said with a chuckle.
"But she is me. So her name is Charlotte." Charlotte explained.
"Okay. Well it is a pretty name." Beca said the girls giggled again.
Charlotte smiled and hugged the doll tight.
Chloe and Beca smiled down at their daughter.
oO0Oo
Chloe and Beca were very happy to hear Stacie and Aubrey were moving to LA because Stacie was going to record an album so it was amazing that they would be closer.
Beca always thought of Aubrey living in New York, being a successful lawyer. Well, she was gonna live in LA and be a successful lawyer.
When Chloe was 6 months pregnant, the two women would often ask Aubrey or Stacie to babysit Charlotte when they went on doctor's appointment.
Charlotte would always play with her doll. She was always talking to it and singing to it. She would even tell her about her sister and how she was growing inside her mamma's belly.
Chloe was now sitting on the couch, Charlotte was sitting on the floor in front of her talking to her doll while Beca made a quick run to the store to get food to make dinner since Aubrey and Stacie would be eating with them.
Charlotte suddenly put the doll down and put a blanket on top of her before jumping over to her mother.
"Mamma, can I talk to my sister?" She asked with a grin.
"Of course, honey." Chloe smiled.
Charlotte sat beside Chloe and put her hand on her stomach.
"Hi sister! It's me, Charlotte!" Charlotte said. "I'm your big sister! I can't wait to see you! Mommy and mamma can't wait to see you too, they love you! We all love you!"
Chloe smiled when she felt the baby kick against Charlotte's hand.
Charlotte grinned.
"She loves me!" Charlotte said. "Mamma, I chose her name!"
"Oh yeah?" Chloe asked. "What is her name?"
"Sophie." Charlotte said and felt the baby kick again. "See? She likes it!"
"Sophie.." Chloe said, thinking. "That's a beautiful name, sweetie."
"Yes!" Charlotte agreed and looked back at Chloe's belly. "Hi Sophie!"
The baby kicked again.
"I think it's settled then. Her name is Sophie." Chloe smiled at Charlotte.
Charlotte smiled and leaned forward, raising Chloe's shirt and kissing her belly before smiling up at the redhead.
Beca returned home and Charlotte ran up to her with a huge smile.
"Mommy! Mommy! I chose my sister's name!" Charlotte said.
"You did?" Beca asked, putting the bags in the kitchen. "What is it?"
"Sophie." Charlotte said with a proud smile.
"It's so pretty, baby! I love it!" Beca said.
"Mamma likes it too!" Charlotte said. "Sophie loves it!"
"Oh she does?" Beca asked. Charlotte nodded.
Beca smiled at her daughter and went to the bathroom to wash her hands and Charlotte went back to the living room and gasped. She ran to her doll and picked her up.
"Mamma, why didn't you call me? Charlotte is crying!" Charlotte said, rocking the baby back and forth and then kissing her cheeks.
"I'm sorry honey, I didn't hear her." Chloe said.
"It's okay, Charlotte." Charlotte said. "Come here meet our sister!"
Charlotte climbed back on the couch next to her mother.
"Sophie, this is Charlotte, our other sister. She's a doll, she looks like me!" Charlotte said.
Chloe chuckled and stroked Charlotte's hair. The living Charlotte.
"Aunt Tacie and Aunt Aubee are coming!" Charlotte said.
Even though she could say the 'r' and the 's' in Aubrey and Stacie's names, she still called them that because she thought it was cuter.
"They are so fun and pretty, you're gonna love them!" Charlotte said. "Did you know mommy and mamma can sing? They are so talented!"
Chloe smiled.
"She's kicking." Chloe said.
"It's because she loves me, mamma." Charlotte explained and turned to her doll. "She loves us, Charlotte!"
Chloe chuckled. Charlotte could be a comedian if she wasn't only 4 years old.
"Char how about you put Charlotte down for a nap and we'll go help mamma?" Chloe asked.
Charlotte looked at her doll and thought for a while.
"Okay." she said. She put the doll on the floor with a blanket on top and ran into the kitchen, followed by Chloe.
The three quickly set the table and Beca put the lasagna in the oven before they all went to the living room.
"Did you see Charlotte chose the name for her sister?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah, it's a beautiful name." Beca said.
"So do you think we should use it?" Chloe asked. "I mean, do you like it?"
"I love it, it really is beautiful." Beca said. "I wanna name our daughter Sophie."
Chloe smiled.
"Me too." she said. "I can't wait to tell everyone we have a name for the baby!"
"Oh my God, me too!" Beca said. "We should call our parents after dinner."
"Or maybe tomorrow. You know, it'll be late." Chloe reminded.
"Yeah, we'll call them tomorrow." Beca agreed with a chuckle before she kissed Chloe.
Sophie would always kick wildly whenever Beca kissed Chloe or whenever Charlotte or Beca would talk to her. Well, she sure knew who was who in the family and couldn't wait to meet all of them.
The doorbell rang not even 10 minutes later and Beca got up to answer. She passed the doorframe and turned back to her wife.
"You know you're starting to get pretty lazy, baby." Beca winked and chuckled when Chloe glared at her and gave her the finger.
Charlotte gasped and grabbed Chloe's hand, hiding her finger with a glare to her mother.
"Mamma! No bad fingers, Charlotte and Sophie can't see that!" Charlotte said.
"Sorry Charlotte." Chloe said to Charlotte's doll. "Sorry Sophie."
Charlotte pressed her ear to Chloe's belly and then nodded before pulling apart with look that made Chloe giggle. She looked like she was trying to play a rich snob.
"We forgive you, mamma." She said.
Chloe laughed and smiled.
"Thank you, I love you guys." Chloe said.
Charlotte smiled and jumped out of the couch and ran to the front door when she heard her aunts' voices. She jumped right onto Aubrey's arms, startling the blonde, who giggled and picked her up.
"Hey Char!" She said, chuckling.
"Hi Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said. "Guess what?"
"What?" Aubrey asked, holding the child on her hip.
"No, guess!" Charlotte said.
"Mmmm... You won something in preschool? You're the best student?" Aubrey asked.
Charlotte groaned dramatically, making the cutest face.
"You're a terrible guesser, Aunt Aubee." Charlotte said.
"Well then I guess you're gonna have to tell me." Aubrey said.
Beca and Stacie had gone to the kitchen, the taller brunette claimed she wanted to help her even though she knew everything was ready.
"Okay." Charlotte said. "I chose my sister's name! And she likes it!"
"Oh my God, you did?!" Aubrey asked, walking into the living room and sitting next to Chloe with a smile to the redhead. "What's her name?"
"Sophie." Charlotte said. She leaned over to her mother and put her hand on her belly. "See? She likes it!"
Aubrey put her hand next to Charlotte's.
"She does!" Aubrey said.
Charlotte smiled at her aunt. She then hopped off her lap and ran over to her doll. The doll was still almost as big as Charlotte so it was hard for her to carry it. Once she actually scared the crap out of Beca because she was holding the doll ahead of her and Beca didn't see her daughter at first, which almost gave her a heart attack and causing Charlotte to laugh at her.
Charlotte climbed back on Aubrey's lap and put the doll on her own lap.
"Aunt Aubee, Charlotte wants a kiss from you." Charlotte said.
"She does?" Aubrey asked.
"Yeah." Charlotte said. "She was crying because she wanted you."
"Awww!" Aubrey said, bringing the doll closer and kissing her cheek. "There, Charlotte. Better?"
"Yeah, she's better." Charlotte smiled.
Aubrey smiled at Charlotte before turning to talk to her best friend.
Meanwhile in the kitchen, Stacie was biting her lip and fidgeting with her nails nervously. She had told Beca she wanted to talk to her.
"Out with it, Conrad! You're driving me crazy!" Beca said.
Stacie took a deep breath.
"Okay. I'm gonna ask Aubrey to marry me." She said.
"Really?! Oh my God that's great, Stacie!" Beca said. "You two are gonna be so happy!"
Stacie smiled at the thought of officially being Aubrey's wife.
"You know.. I never thought I'd love her this much. She's my whole world, I can't live without her. And it's all thanks for Charlotte for bringing us together because.. now I can't live without her." Stacie said.
Beca smiled at her.
"You guys are gonna be so happy." Beca said.
"But hey you can't tell Chloe!" Stacie said.
"Why not?" Beca frowned.
"Because Chloe is for sure gonna tell Aubrey." Stacie said.
"Okay fine, I won't tell her." Beca promised. "When are you gonna do it?"
"Thanks." Stacie said. "Tomorrow night."
Charlotte walked in the kitchen, carrying Charlotte ahead of her, keeping her arms just below the doll's armpits, so, of course, the two brunettes didn't see her, which made them both jump and scream. Charlotte frowned and tilted her head so the two adults could see her now.
"Oh my God.. Char you scared us." Stacie said, putting her hand over her heart to steady it.
"Aunt Tacie, you scared Charlotte! She wanted a kiss, now she's crying!" Charlotte said, walking over to her aunt and holding the doll up for her. "You calm her down."
Stacie picked the doll up and started awkwardly rocking her back and forth.
"Char can you go tell mamma and Aunt Aubrey that dinner is ready? And go wash your hands, baby." Beca said.
Charlotte skipped out of the kitchen happily.
Beca turned to Stacie with a sigh.
"I swear this doll is like Annabelle, she keeps moving around the house, but then I remember that Charlotte is holding her." She said with a chuckle.
"This doll is beautiful but maybe we shouldn't have gotten such a realistic doll." Stacie said chuckling, looking down at the doll.
"No it's fine." Beca said. "We love it actually. I still can't believe you got that for her."
"We all thought it was the best gift for our mini Bella." Stacie smiled. "You know, it's amazing how she much looks like you!"
Beca chuckled.
"Yeah. You know she's a lefty, just like me." Beca said. "And everyday that goes by I'm surprised by how much she looks like me. My mom says she looks exactly like me when I was her age. We want our age progression picture to be ready, we're curious to know the prediction."
"Me too. I mean I'm sure she'll look exactly like you when she's older." Stacie said.
Beca sighed with a smile before grabbing the lasagna and going to the dining room table.
"Hey Char?" Stacie asked as the child pulled a chair back to climb on it. "Where do I put your daughter?"
Charlotte walked over to her and grabbed the doll from Stacie's arms and took her to the living room, putting her on the couch before rejoining the adults.
Beca smiled as she started cutting the lasagna and served the two guests, her wife and her daughter. She cut Charlotte's piece if little pieces and helped cool them before Charlotte could eat it.
"Hey guys do you know what I was thinking?" Chloe asked. "We could go back to Florida, to my parents' house, like we did when Charlotte was one. We could invite all the Bellas! You know, after Sophie is born."
"What? You chose the name?" Stacie asked.
"You didn't know?" Chloe asked.
"No! Nobody told me!" Stacie sai. Aubrey giggled and kissed her cheek.
"I chose it!" Charlotte said proudly.
"It's a beautiful name, Char." Stacie said.
"Thanks!" Charlotte said and held up her plate. "Mommy, more please."
"Babe can you hand me her plate?" Beca asked, putting her fork down.
Chloe smiled as Charlotte clapped her hands at the thought of more food. She loved lasagna but she had trouble saying it, just like spaghetti, which she just called ghetti.
"Thank you mommy!" Charlotte said.
"You're welcome, honey." Beca smiled.
Charlotte hummed as she chewed on her food and started dancing on her seat, making faces to herself which made her mothers and aunts laugh at how cute she was. Beca and Chloe hoped Sophie would be just as cute as Charlotte, which honestly, wasn't going to be hard.
