AN: Beta Read by Brawn 1984 and Starrmastrr

AN: I do not own RWBY or Red Hood.

AN: I am so sorry that this chapter is so late. I had work and school, and this chapter was so long before I split it into three separate chapters. The chapter was close to 30,000 words before I separated it into three chapter(A new record for me.) Thank you for your patience during the wait.

The group was stopped for the night.

"I'm glad you guys decided to come with us." Loki said.

"Yeah." José said. "It'll be nice being with you guys a bit longer."

"I agree." Hel said taking his hand in hers.

"I don't like leaving the villages to fend for themselves." Kal said. "But we all need to learn from you guys."

"Yeah." Pardus said scratching the snow leopard lying at her feet in between the ears.

The snow leopard purred.

"So have you thought of a name yet?" Loki asked.

"Not yet. I'm not sure what would be a good name."

"What about Iris?" Ebon asked.

"What?"

"Iris. It was Hele's favorite flower."

"That sounds like a nice name."

The snow leopard purred louder.

"I think she likes it."

"It is a nice name." Hel said.

"Do you like that name, Iris?" Pardus asked the snow leopard.

Iris purred loud enough to send vibrations through her legs.

Pardus giggled at that.

"So." Gale said. "We know about each other... but we don't know each other. Why don't we take some time to get to know each other better?"

The others looked around nervously before they eventually nodded.

San Kal

San woke up and looked around. He was in a room that he didn't recognize. "Where am I?"

"You're in Kyoshi Village." A voice said.

San jumped up and spun around dropping into a fighting stance. "Who the hell are you?" He snarled.

"Me?" The man asked. "I'm no one really. Just a guy who came into town on my way to kill a group of bandits who have been pillaging villages. They go in, take what they want, including the women and children, and burn the town to the ground so the villagers have no chance against the Grimm. I just finished killing a bandit clan that would force the villagers into the town bunker and locked it."

"I'm guessing that there were no Hunters?"

"Nope."

"I'll join you, but I do have a question."

"Yeah."

"How did I get in here?"

"I saw your fight last night. Don't you think that beating yourself to death via fighting is a waste of your talents?"

"It's no less than I deserve."

"Why?"

San looked out the window. "My mom and village are dead because of me."

"I see."

"No. You really don't. I ran away from home after I more or less told my mom I hated her, and when I went back..." San took in a deep, shaky breath. "... my entire village was destroyed."

"You have my sympathy. I know what it's like to lose someone you love."

"Who was it?"

"My wife. Now come on. We can use some of that money to buy you a proper weapon."

"What do you mean?"

"Well if you're going to help me, then you're going to need a weapon of some kind."

"Okay."

They walked to the blacksmith shop in the village and walked in.

"Hello." The shop keep said.

"Hi." The mystery man said pointing at San. "I need to get my friend here a weapon."

"I see. I'll give you a good discount because you fought good last night. The way that you were able to power through their Aura. It was like you're some kind of... super man."

"No. I just have a lot of Aura that I use to power my punches. I used it a lot when I was in school to take down bullies."

"Let's hope that you can do the same thing to these Bandits." The stranger said.

"What kind of weapon were you thinking?"

The stranger looked around the shop and found a large Kite shield. It had six sides to it though the bottom of the shield curved to a point.

From the top point of the shield to the bottom point it was 5'6".

"Nah." He said before looking at another shield.

This one was 5'5" in height, six feet from side to side, and looked like a diamond.

"Try this one." He said handing San the shield.

San held the shield.

He didn't know why, but it felt good.

"I know that look." The stranger said. "We'll take this one." He said to the shop keep.

"I see. You like that one does ya?"

"I don't know why." San said. "But I feel like I want to run right now. I feel pumped."

"It's resonating with your Aura." The shop keep said. "Though you might want to fold it into its compact mode when you're walking through enclosed areas. You might also want to familiarize yourself with the mechanics of the weapon."

"What mechanics?"

"Hit the button on the edge."

San did so and the shield changed into a Buster Sword.

"Whoa." He said in awe.

"Now hit the button again."

San did so, and the blade shrunk down to a third of its actual size with a hole in the metal near the hilt.

"You'll. Also need this." The shop keep said tossing San a harness. "Put that on, and you'll be able to carry your weapon with you wherever you go."

Thanks." San said putting the harness on, and noticed the harness had a hook over his right shoulder.

He looked at the sword and realized what the whole on the sword was for and put the sword on his back. "How much?"

"For a Mecha-shifting weapon, and the harness? Taking into account the discount. Nine hundred Lien."

"Wait." The stranger said. "Seriously?"

"What?" San asked. "Is that bad?"

"What kind of material is this weapon made out of?"

"Dust infused steel." The shop Keep said proudly.

"It's complete crap, but we'll take it. Not like we have a whole lot of options."

San paid for the weapon and harness, and they walked out.

"Okay." The stranger said. "We don't have a lot of time, so we'll have to move quickly."

"What do you mean?"

"You need to learn how to fight with a mecha-shifting weapon."

"What's so hard about using a mecha-shifting weapon?"

"Timing and precision mostly. You need to know how to shift your weapon quickly in the heat of battle."

"Okay. How will we do that?"

"Simple. I'm going to attack you." The stranger said glowing black and pulling a longsword and a rapier from the holsters on his back and attacking San.

San dove out of the way and spun to his feet.

He grabbed the shield and activated the Buster Sword mode.

"Well at least you know how to activate the sword mode."

San swung his sword, but the Stranger blocked with his long sword and stabbed at San.

San hissed out in pain as his Aura was penetrated.

"You'd be dead." The stranger said.

San swung his Buster Sword only to have it blocked again, and his Aura cut.

After an hour San was breathing heavily.

"Okay." The stranger said. "If I'm right then the bandits are almost here."

"What!"

"Sink or swim." The stranger said.

"Were you actually trying to train me?"

"Yes, but you need practical experience."

"So, what was the last hour?"

"Oh. That was wearing you down so you would be desperate to live."

"WHAT!"

"Yes. Desperation pushes us past our limitations." The stranger said dropping to a knee and putting his hand on the ground.

"What are you doing now!"

The stranger stayed quiet, but his face looked puzzled.

"What is it?"

"We're surrounded." The stranger said calmly.

"That's bad."

"No. That's good. It means we can attack from any direction."

"That's not arrogant at all."

"It's not arrogance if it's true." The stranger said drawing the swords from his back.

"Aren't you worried that your suit will get ruined?"

"It's a tactical suit. It can take anything from a pencil to an SMG, and my Aura takes care of the rest."

"Then I guess that mows as good a time as any to use my Semblances dark side."

"What do you mean?"

"My Semblance has a dark side to it. A Yen and Yang if you will. The light side of my semblance allows me to take on the wounds of those I deem fit."

"Okay. What's the dark side?"

"I can do the opposite and put my wounds on my opponent's."

"Holy shit kid. Why are you just telling me about this now?"

"Because. I would be disgracing my mother's memory by using it. I made a vow after she died that I would only use my Semblance to help those in need. I would never hurt another person again."

"I'm sorry, but you are fighting for money. How the hell do you win if you won't hurt anyone?"

"I take their injuries after the fight."

"I guess that makes sense, but you need to draw the line somewhere. You can either be a pacifist, which let's be honest is just a coward with an excuse. Or you can use your power to protect people. What's it going to be? Are you going to let these people die, or are you going to use your power to protect them?"

They were quiet for a moment. Then San looked at the stranger with a determination that could light up the sky.

"I will protect them." He said feeling like he wanted to run a marathon and feeling like he could win.

The stranger smiled. "That's just what I wanted to hear. Now, let's go."

"And that's what happened." San explained.

"Wait, wait, wait." Gale said. "What happened to the bandits? Who was the stranger? You're terrible at telling stories."

"Not true." San said. "That's when we met the next member of our group."

"So, the stranger was Ebon?"

"That I was." Ebon said.

"Then what happened next?"

Pardus Nix

Pardus was walking through the forest trying to get to the next town when she heard someone else. She created a dozen clones and had them move through the shadows. Her small frame helped her stay hidden from view.

She snuck up on her target and grabbed 'Tsas' before changing it to the Odachi long sword.

She moved in and swung silently, decapitating her target, sending a geyser of blood into the air. She knew that her clones would all kill the others. They just needed to do it quickly without making any noise.

After they had dispatched the rest of their targets, she made her clones disappear and walked towards the town. She looked down and noticed that she was covered in their blood. There wasn't a stream or river nearby that she could use to clean herself off, so she just bowed her head in resignation and walked into the town.

She was at the entrance to the town when she heard someone say. "That's just what I wanted to hear. Now, let's go."

She didn't deviate as she walked into town.

"Hey." The voice said. "Are you okay?"

She didn't answer.

The owner of the voice reached forward to touch her shoulder, but she jumped away and hissed at him while drawing 'Tsas'.

"Whoa! Whoa!" He shouted. "We don't want to hurt you."

She tried pushing past them, but she was covered from head to toe in a warm orange light.

"Damn it!" Another voice shouted before dropping to his knees. "Shit!" He yelled as she felt the pain, she was in disappear. What was he doing?

"San!" The first voice called out. "San! What's wrong!"

"I don't know what she's been through!" The one named San said. "But I can barely think right now!"

"You said that you can transfer pain! Transfer some of it to me!"

The one called San didn't say anything, but the other stranger was surrounded by a blue-magenta light before falling to a knee.

"What the Fuck!" The other voice yelled before looking at her. "How could you live with this pain?" He asked.

"I haven't felt pain since I was seven years old." She spoke.

The look on the stranger's face was a cross between heartbroken and furious. "Who hurt you." He struggled to say.

"My master is dead." She said in a low, harsh tone.

The strangers face became enraged, but not at her. "You were a slave!" He demanded.

"Yes." She said drawing 'Tsas'. "If you have any intention of giving me back, I will end you like the rest."

"No!" He yelled. "I want to help you."

"You're a human." She spoke. "Why would a human want to help a Faunus slave like me?"

The stranger struggled to look at her in his pain riddled mind. 'Where's her Faunus trait? I don't see ears, or a tail. Is it hidden? Or... no. Did her master cut it off?' "Did your master cut off your Faunus trait?" He asked.

"Yes. He cut off my ears."

That was enough to send the stranger over the edge. "Did he suffer! Did your master suffer for your pain?"

"Yes. I cut him apart piece by piece."

"Good." The stranger said dropping to his hands and knees. "If I offered you protection, would you take it?"

"Why would a human want to help me?"

"Believe it or not, not all humans are ass holes."

"The ones I've met are."

"Then they are sorry excuses for human beings."

"Perhaps, but why should I believe you?"

"Because of San."

"Who's San?"

"Him." The stranger said pointing at San who was clenching his hands into fists because the pain was so intense that he was practically unconscious. "He could tell that you were in pain, and tried to relieve you of that pain, even when he was in excruciating agony he didn't stop! He still hasn't stopped! He can barely function right now, and yet he's still not stopping. He's a human, yet he's trying to help you even though it could potentially kill him. The pain I'm in doesn't compare to the pain he's in, and he's still helping you."

"Why?"

"He wants to help people, Faunus and Humans alike."

"No human wants to help the Faunus. What can we do to prove that we want to help?"

"You can die!" She yelled raising 'Tsas' over her head. She brought it down on the stranger's head...

A diamond shaped shield opened up and blocked the Wakizashi.

The girl and the stranger looked over to see San on one knee, breathing heavily, and had one eye open in determination. "I... know what... you've... been through. I'm sor... sorry... about... your past... but... don't... take it... out on... us... let us... help... you."

"And why would I do that!" She snapped.

"Because... you've had... no one... let's cha... change that... shall we?"

This caught the girl off guard, and she pulled 'Tsas' back. "I'll give you one week." She said coldly. If you haven't proved that you want to help me at the end of that week... I'll kill you."

"Thank you." The stranger said. "My name is Ebon Sashi, and I kill monsters."

"What kind of monsters." The girl asked.

"If your master was still alive, I would kill him mercilessly."

"So, you don't consider Faunus monsters?"

"No. Your master was a monster. You on the other hand. You are not a monster, but a victim. You didn't deserve your lot in life. And I will make it my mission to make sure the rest of your life is by far a better experience."

"I'll believe it when I see it." She spoke.

"What... what's your name?" San asked getting to his feet shakily.

"Pardus Nix." She said not understanding why she felt like she could trust them, but she knew that she could.

"Let's go to the inn." Ebon said. "Tomorrow we'll head out."

"And that's how we met Pardus." San explained.

"So, she just walked out of the forest covered in blood and you guys just decided to help her out?" Gale asked.

"We never said she was covered in blood." Ebon stated.

"She decapitated a bandit tribe. There is no way that she wasn't covered in blood."

"Fair point. She was covered in blood, but that wasn't necessary to the plot. She showed up. We helped her, she agreed to join us as we hunted monsters."

"It's inaccurate."

"Fine!"

Pardus walked into the village covered in the blood of the bandits she'd slaughtered.

"How was that?"

"I feel like it's missing something." Gale said smugly.

"Shut up it I will give you a nightmare." Loki said.

"Consider it dropped." Gale said not wanting a nightmare.

"Thank you. Now. How did you guys meet Hel?"

Hel Skera

The trio were walking through the plains. They had been walking for a week now and were getting antsy.

"Ebon?" Pardus asked.

"Yes Pardus?"

"Are we there yet?"

"We don't know where we are going. We walk until we find people in need or monsters that need put down."

"But I'm bored." She whined. "I haven't killed anything since the last time I killed something."

"You mean yesterday?" San asked. "When you killed those guy's for hitting that girl?"

"Or this morning?" Ebon asked. "When you killed that lady, who kicked a Faunus child?"

"Or an hour ago?" The two asked in unison. "When you killed ten bandits while we only got to kill two..."

"One each." San clarified.

"You guys are no fun." She scoffed.

"Shh." Ebon said.

"What? Why?"

"Shh." He said again. "We aren't alone."

San grabbed his shield and Pardus readied 'Tsas'. They stood back-to-back so they wouldn't be caught off guard.

"There!" Ebon yelled.

San and Pardus spun around to look at what Ebon had seen. They were shocked at what they saw. A girl who was leaning heavily against a scythe and seemed to be injured was walking towards them. San put his shield away and ran to her.

When he got to her side, he grabbed her and activated his Semblance. Thanks to Pardus his pain threshold had increased substantially. The girl was in a great deal of pain due to hunger, thirst, cuts, scrapes, bruises, stubbed toes, and broken bones.

"She needs water!" He called over to Ebon.

Ebon brought his canteen over and opened it before putting it up to the girl's mouth. The girl dropped her scythe and Pardus went to catch it only for it to disappear. The group watched as she drained Ebon's canteen greedily.

"Pardus." Ebon said. "Give her yours and San's canteens too."

Pardus went to San and pulled his canteen from his bag and gave the girl theirs. She drained both of them just as quickly.

"Pardus. Help me set up camp while San helps her."

"Right." Pardus said switching 'Tsas' to its Odachi form and activated her Semblance making a dozen clones. They began making long swinging arcs in the tall prairie grass, cutting a large circle in the grass. When they were done, she made her clones disappear and went to help Ebon set up the tents.

By the time they were finished San had finished taking on her injuries and took her to Pardus tent where Pardus had set up her sleeping bag for the girl to sleep on.

"Okay." Ebon said. "Pardus and I will go gather food and fill the Canteens if we can find a lake or something. You stay here and finish setting up camp."

"Right." San said opening his shield. He began digging in the ground to make a hidden fire pit. He dug a two foot deep by three-foot-wide hole and began throwing the dried prairie grass into the hole before looking around. He didn't see any trees or any source of wood.

'Damn.' He thought before he walked around the camp and picked up the grass before piling it next to the fire pit. He reached into his bag and pulled out the matches, cooking mesh, and collapsible pan. He put the cooking mesh over the hole and secured it with the stakes before putting the pan on the mesh.

He had finished and decided to laze about for a bit. He looked up at the sky and thought about what to name his shield. Ebon had told him that a weapon and Semblance's name was something personal to the wielder. Like how Dual Wield was his Semblance and was named so because of his ability to dual wield his weapons, but how his late wife's Semblance was called Synchronize because it allowed their team to synchronize their strategies and win almost any fight. He'd told them that they'd also gain nicknames throughout their stay at Haven. His late wife's nickname was Asuna, and his was Kirito, and how they were the Haven power couple.

He thought back to his mother, and felt tears sting the corners of his eyes. She always told him that he could be a benevolent man. It also took his mother dying for him to realize what she meant. "Benevolent Sacrifice." He mused.

"What's that?" Ebon asked walking up to him with some wood.

"What's what? Where did you get that?"

"Benevolent Sacrifice? And I found a downed tree over that way." He pointed to the East.

"Oh. I think it might be a name for the healing part of my Semblance."

"Sounds like a good name, but what about the other half of your Semblance?"

"I don't know." San said. "I don't want to use it. When I found out about that part of my Semblance, I refused to use it. I didn't want to hurt anyone and promised to only use the healing aspects of my Semblance."

"Well, that's a stupid idea."

"What do you mean?"

"What happens if you focus only on building up your upper body or your lower body?"

"Your other loses strength, and you can risk muscle atrophy."

"Yes and no. My point is that you need to use the other part of your Semblance to get the other benefits of your Semblance."

"So, you're saying that I should use the other part of my Semblance?"

"Yes. You can use it for information gathering. That's a small part of our job."

"What do you mean?"

"Let's say that we find two bandits that have been abandoned by their tribe."

"Okay?"

"If we can't get any information out of them you take the pain of one of them and give it to the other one. They'll start talking after that."

"What if I don't want to do that?"

"Tell me something."

"Sure."

"If a bandit tribe broke into your house, ransacked your house, raped, and murdered your mom?"

"I'd kill every fucking bandit I saw!" San yelled.

"That's why I do this. That's why I hunt Bandits and other monsters."

"I had no idea."

"Yeah. Because I didn't tell you. Now. What are you going to name the other part of your Semblance?"

"Well... It's the opposite of Benevolent Sacrifice so I guess the opposite."

"Malevolent Offering?" Ebon suggested.

San thought about that for a minute. "That sounds about as good as anything."

"And what about your weapon?"

"I'm not sure."

"I've got an idea."

"What is it?"

"You're on a mission to protect the people in these villages, right? A crusade if you will. What if you name it 'Crusade'?"

"I like it, but something is missing."

"How about 'Final Crusade'? It signifies that you are going to be at this until you finish your mission or die trying."

"Yeah. 'Final Crusade'. I like it."

"I thought you would." Ebon said.

"Thought he would what?" Pardus asked coming up to them with two cottontails, three prairie dogs, a rattlesnake, and two prairie chickens.

"Do you have enough food there?" Ebon asked with a coy smile.

"Well, I don't know how long we're going to be here and besides, I'm hungry."

"Okay, okay. We'll get started on cleaning them and..." He was interrupted when the clouds rolled in, and rain began pouring down. "Get inside your tents!" He instructed.

San grabbed his pack, the pan, and the cooking mesh before running for his tent. Pardus ran to her tent and put the food in her tent. While Ebon put the firewood in his tent. All three of them zipped up their tents and waited.

San rolled out his sleeping bag, put his bag and cooking supplies in the upper far right corner of his tent, and laid his 'Final Crusade' next to his sleeping bag. He laid down on his sleeping bag and slowly drifted off to sleep listening to the sound of rain.

Pardus put the food in the bottom left corner, and curled up in the top left corner, with 'Tsas' laying against her shoulder, watching the girl sleep. The longer she sat there listening to the rain the drowsier she got, until she drifted off to sleep.

Ebon put the firewood in the bottom right corner of his tent and rolled out his sleeping bag before putting 'Grekh and Asuna' next to his sleeping bag and crawled into his sleeping bag before falling asleep.

"ᚹᚺᛖᚱᛖ ᚨᛗ ?" (Where am I?) The girl asked.

"ᚹᚺᚨᛏ ᚺᚨᛈᛈᛖᚾᛖᛞ?" (What happened?) "ᚹᚺᛖᚱᛖ ᚨᛗ ?" (Where am I?)

"Hey." An unfamiliar voice said. "What's wrong? What language are you speaking?"

The girl looked around and saw a girl looking at her with a confused look. The girl was small with shoulder length midnight blue hair, beige colored skin, and pale blue eyes. She was wearing black hiking boots, dark blue pants, a long black shirt with a hood on the back.

"Did you not hear me." The small girl said moving her hand to a sword hilt.

"ᚾᛟ!ᛈᚦᛖᚨᛊᛖ!ᛞᛟᚾ' ᚺᚢᚱᛏ ᛗᛖ! ᛞᛟᚾ'ᛏᛖᚹᛖᚾ ᚲᚾᛟᚹ ᚺᛟᚹ ᚷᛟᛏ ᚺᛖᚱᛖ!ᚹᚺᛖᚱᛖ ᚨᛗ !?" (No! Please! Don't hurt me! I don't even know how I got here! Where am I!?"

"Whoa!" The small girl said. "I don't know what language you are speaking, but I need you to calm down before someone gets hurt. Let me call Ebon. He'll know what to do."

The girl looked at the small girl. She understood her even though she wasn't speaking the common tongue. Curious. What language was she speaking? She thought about the language, and wanted to speak it, to communicate with the small girl, but she didn't know how.

"Heᛚᛚo." She spoke.

"What did you say?" The small girl asked.

"Helo. Hello. How are you. What language is this?"

"Okay?" The small girl said. "This is Remnant standard. What language were you speaking?"

"I was speaking the common tongue. Are there more than one language on Remnant?"

"Yess?"

"What are the languages?"

"Well. There is Atlan from Atlas, Valian from Vale, Vacuan from Vacuo, Mistrailé from Mistral, and Fauna from Menagerie. Then there are different dialects from each Kingdom, but for the most part everyone just speaks Remnant Standard."

"When did they change the common tongue?"

"What are you talking about? We've spoken Remnant Standard for as long as anyone can remember. I've never even heard of 'the Common Tongue' until today."

"Really?"

"Yes. Do you know what todays date is?"

"No. Do you know your name?"

"Yes."

"Okay. That's progress. What is your name?"

"Hel."

"Okay Hel. Do you have a last name?"

"Skera. Hel Skera, my name is Hel Skera."

"Okay Hel. I'm going to call Ebon. He knows a lot, so he might be able to help you."

"Okay." Hel said.

The Small girl pulled a device out of her pants and Hel was intrigued.

"What is that?" She asked.

"This?" The girl asked holding the device up. "It's my Scroll. It's how we communicate."

"I see. What is your name?"

"Mine?"

"Yes."

"Pardus Nix."

"It's nice to meet you Pardus."

Pardus nodded as she called Ebon.

Ebon Sashi

Ebon was sleeping fitfully.

"No!" He spoke. "No! Not Hele! No! Leave her alone! Leave Hele alone! Leave her Alone! Hele! HELE! HELE!"

Ebon Jolted awake in a cold sweat. 'Damn it!' He thought taking off his overcoat, suitcoat, vest, shirt, and shoes leaving himself only in his pants and muscle shirt. he reached into his bag and pulled out his travel towel and began wiping the sweat from his body. He took his scroll out and scrolled through his pictures until he found the one, he was looking for.

It was a picture of Hele. She stood at 5'7", with dark pink hair, light skin tone, and was wearing a light pink dress with matching stockings and boots. The dress had a red band around the waist of the dress, the thighs of the stockings, and the base of her boots. She was wearing a salmon-colored scarf and wore salmon colored nail polish. She wore a bracelet on her right wrist, and hot pink glasses. In this picture she had a light dusting of pink on her cheeks.

It was a picture of her on their honeymoon.

He ran a finger over the picture and rubbed his hand over his face. 'I miss you babe.' He thought. 'I miss you so much.'

He felt warmth encompass him and it felt as though she had wrapped him in a hug from behind like she'd done so many times. That was his breaking point, and he started crying silently. He dropped his phone and held his hands over his face and just sobbed, letting his anguish out into the world.

When he finished, he felt muggy and opened the window of his tent to let some air circulate. He was breathing in the cold, wet air when his Scroll rang. He picked it up and looked at it and saw Pardus' name and face show on the screen and answered it.

"Hello?" He asked.

Hey Ebon. This is Pardus. The girl is up. Her name is Hel Skera, but she doesn't remember anything else. Also, she was speaking a weird language that she called the 'common tongue', but then she picked up Remnant Standard quickly after listening to me talk for only a few minutes. What should we do?"

"Make some room in your tent. I'll be there in a minute."

"Okay."

With that they hung up, and Ebon began getting dressed. When he was done, he stepped out of his tent, zipped it up and walked over to Pardus' tent.

"Pardus." He spoke.

The tent unzipped and he walked in.

He took his jacket off and set it in the corner before sitting down. "Hello." He said to Hel.

"Hello." Hel said. "Who are you?"

"My name is Ebon Sashi. Your name is Hel, right?"

"Yes."

"Pardus said that you don't remember anything?"

"No. I don't remember anything. I don't know how I got here. I remember a dark cold room, and then waking up here."

"Do you remember anything about that room?"

"I'm sorry, but no."

"It's no problem. Do you have anyone you can trust?"

"You are the only people I know, or that I remember knowing."

"Would you like to travel with us until you can remember?"

Hel thought about that for a long minute before looking at Pardus.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"I think I would like to travel with you for a while."

"You can kill monsters with us." Pardus said happily.

"It sounds like fun." Hel said.

"And that's how we met Hel." Pardus said.

"It was nice meeting you guys." She spoke. "I'm glad I met you rather than an unsavory group, and I'm glad that we met you." She said to Team SHAY and Loki.

"So am I." José said squeezing her hand. A gesture that wasn't missed by Gale or Scott.

"We should really get to bed." Loki said. "We've got a lot of ground to cover tomorrow. Not to mention the training you guys need to put in."

"I'll take first watch." Ebon said. "Who's taking second?"

"I will." Loki said.

"Then get some sleep." Ebon said walking to the edge of camp.

Scott and Yang rolled out their sleeping bags and crawled in next to each other. Hel and José crawled into their sleeping bags. Pardus crawled into her sleeping bag and rolled into San's side. San put his arm around her protectively and she laid her head on his arm, and Lily walked next to them, walked in a circle three times and curled into Pardus side. Gale crawled into his sleeping bag and looked into the sky, drifting off to sleep staring up at the stars. Loki crawled inside her sleeping bag and leaned against a rock looking at the sky wondering how Coral was doing. She thought about this for a few minutes before she dozed off to sleep.

AN: So, we get a look into the OC Team, named SPHE(Sapphire), and how they met up. Superman was the inspiration for San Kal hence all of the Superman references for him. John Wick and Kirito were the inspiration for Ebon hence the John Wick and SAO References throughout. Raphtalia from 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' and Akatsuki from 'Log Horizon' were the inspiration for Pardus, but she is a lot more violent and aggressive until she meets San and Ebon where she mellows out a bit. Hel from 'Fire Emblem' and Jason Bourne were inspiration for Hel's character. She was Very Loosely based on Hel from 'Fire Emblem' in that she is called Hel and carry's a Scythe, and she is like Jason Bourne in the way that she doesn't remember much of anything and is extremely dangerous. Also, the common tongue is written in Ancient Runes. Enjoy.
