Everyone stared in shock at your new form, Mal standing beside you in her true form as well. Getting a sudden jolt of courage, Audrey lept forward, "I TOLD YOU SO!" She yelled only to be harshly pulled back when mal suddenly turned to glare at her. "Let's go!" Carlos called. "Time to leave." Jay reminded, looking around at everyone warily but on guard. "You really want to do this?" Ben asked, not believing it. You felt your heartache as the question hit you. Of course, you didn't, you didn't want to hurt Ben. But then you remembered something that made your guilt fall away and your resolve strengthen. Your mother had been stuck on that horrible Isle for 20 years... "We have no choice, Ben! Our parents-." Ben cut you off before you could tell him how much they were suffering. "Your parents made their choice. Now you make yours..." Ben said, nodding a bit to you and shuffling his feet, waiting for you to decide. Your mother, your people, your friends, your family... Or him. The choice was obvious, but it was still hard. "I want what's right. I want what's good." You breathed out. Ben, not taking your words as a silent apology spoke out, "You are good! I know it in my heart!" He said. You gave him a sad smile, "I know... So, I'm going to do what is right." You told him.

Ben relaxed and sighed in relief, reaching out to take the wand when you noticed familiar magic swirling between you two. You pushed ben back once again and suddenly, in a swarm of golden magic, Maleficent was standing there with Queen Grimhilde, Jafar, and Cruella. People screamed in horror and some even fainted. "MALEFICENT!" Adam roared, going to charge when she flickered her hand at him, and he was paralyzed. Ben blinked in confusion from his point on the stairs, "(Y/n)...?" He asked, making you look over at him for a moment before smiling at your mother. You and Mal ran and embarrassed her tightly, her wings enclosing around you two. "Hello, you two. I've missed you." She said before pulling away and looking around, "Now, where is that girl? She's late." Maleficent mused, not worrying about those around her as they were too frightened to move. "I would say I'm right on time." A female voice called from the doorway. Everyone turned to see who it was and gasped in surprise. Maleficent smiled, "Hello beastie..." She greeted. Aurora smiled in delight, tears coming to her eyes as she raced forward and squeezed her in a hug. "Mother!" She exclaimed, creating even more gasps and a few more fainted. Pulling away, maleficent wiped away Aurora's cheeks. "I'm sorry I took so long; I had no idea they locked you away on that island." Aurora apologized. Maleficent kissed her head, "It's alright. You're here now, aren't you?" She prompted, gaining a nod.

"Mommy?" Audrey called gently, making Aurora turn to her and an angry expression cross her face. "Audrey! Young lady, get over here right now." He demanded. Audrey jumped and despite her embarrassment, shuffled over to her mother. "Why didn't you tell me that Auradon had Maleficent locked away?" aurora asked her daughter sternly, crossing her arms. "U-Um... I didn't know you were looking for her..." Audrey lied, glancing away. "Audrey..." Aurora gave her a stern look that broke Audrey. "Why do you care so much!? They are just filthy faeries!" She snapped. Fairy Godmother made a noise of hurt and shock as Audrey insulted her as well. Aurora looked gob smacked at her children before glowering at her, "Your father and I will be having a talk about this Audrey..." The girl paled, "N-No, mommy please." "Your punishment will be decided when we get home." Aurora ended the conversation, causing Audrey to start crying. Aurora turned swiftly to you and Mal, beaming with excitement, "So! You two are my new sisters, right?" The woman asked, taking your hands. You two nodded in a little confusion before being swept into a huge hug by the squealing queen. "Oh! I'm so excited! Maybe we can catch up on all the things we've missed once you come back home! Like sleepovers and makeovers and talking about boys! I'm sure you two have someone already." She teased. You flushed dark red and glanced at Ben, who noticed and felt strangely happy during this scary and confusing situation. You just confirmed your feelings for him without saying a word.

Aurora followed your gaze and squealed once more, "That's wonderful!" She hugged you tightly before Mal spoke up, "Um... Could our friends and their family come with us?" She asked Aurora. "Hm? Why of course they can!" Aurora agreed easily. You blinked at the rapid succession of everything going on and were taken for a whirl as Aurora's soldiers came in with Diaval, who flew in and turned into a human. "Queen Aurora? Are you ready to leave?" Diaval asked pleasantly. Aurora realized the time and nodded, "One moment!" She turned to maleficent and asked a silent question. Maleficent gave her an amused look before turning to Adam and flicking her hand, removing her spell on him. He stumbled forward and shook his head, having been conscious of everything. Aurora got a firm look in her eyes as she marched up to the former king. "King Adam. Why was I not informed of your capture of my mother?" She asked. He looked lost for words, "I wasn't aware that you wanted information on Maleficent." He said, glancing at his wife, who had long ago become shell shocked and would need a few days to process. Most everyone attending would need it as well. Those at home were confused, however, because the feed had been cut once the wand was grabbed. "King Adam of Auradon-"

Adam cut her off, "I'm sorry, but I just gave the kingship to my son. If you have any requests for me, I will not be able to fulfill them." He said, though sorry that he had to have his son deal with this. Taking this as his cue, Ben stood up and brushed himself off, clearing his throat. Aurora turned to him and got a respectful bow as Ben tried to recover from his shock, "Greetings Queen Aurora. I am King ben of Auradon. How may I assist you?" Ben asked, hoping that his first 24 hours of being king weren't going to cement him in as the worst king Auradon has ever had or by starting a war. Aurora's gaze softened a little as she knew he was young and new to this as well as the one you loved. Sighing slightly, she restarted. "King Ben of Auradon, I am Queen Aurora, queen of Ulstead. I will only warn you once as my mother will most likely do the same after. Any attacks against faeries are considered a direct attack against the Kingdom of Ulstead and will be taken as an act of war." She spoke clearly, making Ben gulp and nod. "I understand." He responded before Maleficent traded places with Aurora, making Ben want to step back in fear, but he held his ground and spoke clearly. "Greetings Maleficent. I am King Ben of Auradon. How may I help you?" He asked, his voice almost cracking once. Maleficent scanned over him as if judging him before turning to you. "No." You gasped, "But mother-" "No." She said once again. You pouted and looked away, leaving Ben confused.

Seeing Maleficent's gaze was focused on him once again, he gave her his full attention. "King Ben of Auradon. I am Queen Maleficent of the Fae and the Moors. While I do not appreciate being locked up and have every right to declare war with your kingdom over this as it was 20 years..." Maleficent trailed off, her eyes glowing green for a second and making a chill run up Ben's spine, though he still stood his ground. That seemed to gain a little of her approval. "Maybe." She spoke again, making you perk up and continued. "I shall not. The only reason is that I have two more daughters and one of them seems to like you." She looked down at him before humming, prompting a response. "I thank you for your generosity Queen Maleficent and you have me and my kingdom's humblest apologies for your imprisonment." Ben apologized gracefully before she gave him a smile. "Accepted." Maleficent turned away and Ben looked at you, relaxing. You glanced back as Mal and Mother talked to Aurora and Diaval about how to get home. You walked over to Ben, at a safe distance so he couldn't grab the wand. "So... This was what you meant..." Ben asked, looking around.

You frowned, "I'm sorry Ben. But you don't know how suffocating and horrible it is to be a Dark Fae and be cut off from the sun, the sky, the water, and nature." You told him, a tear falling down your cheek. "It was so horrible all the time. It felt like I couldn't breathe sometimes. And there is iron all over the Isle, in random little places, but because of that Mal and I had to be so careful all the time when we walked around. Mal and I have only been there for 16 years... But our mother has been there for so much longer... Isolated from her kind and her freedom. And for no reason." You told him. "Over a lie spread around by Audrey's grandmother." You corrected, shaking your head. Ben reached out and touched your face, wiping away your tears. "You could stay, you know," Ben told you quietly. You leaned into his touch, "I can't." "You can." He protested. "I can't. I stole Fairy Godmother's wand. I let villains off the isle. I ruined your big day. Look around Ben. They are all afraid of me." You chuckled sadly. "They are just confused," Ben told you. You shook your head and stepped away from him. "I'm sorry Ben... But no matter how much I want to stay; I have to leave. I'll be in Aurora's kingdom. In Ulstead... If you ever want to visit..." You trailed off and smiled warmly at him, "Maybe I can show you the Moors." You told him, making everyone around that was listening shocked once more.

No human was ever allowed in the Moors except for Aurora and Philip. Mal came up behind you and whispered something in your ear, making you nod as she took the wand from you. You walked forward and hugged Ben tightly, your wings wrapping around him affectionately. His arms encircled you immediately and he buried his face in your shoulder, "Please don't go." He pleaded. "I have to. I'm not welcome anymore..." You told him before pulling away and kissing his cheek. You backed away, your hand slipping out of his. As you reached your family and friends, Mal called out, "Headmistress!" Fairy Godmother looked at her, tears in her eyes over the emotional goodbye she had witnessed. "Catch!" Mal called, good-naturedly before tossing Fairy Godmother the wand. You, Mal, Evie, Aurora, Audrey, Carlos, Jay, Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella, Queen Grimhilde, Diaval, and the soldiers Aurora brought along with her all disappeared into a cloud of magic before Fairy Godmother even touched the wand. Ben stared sadly at where you were standing just moments before, a tear trailing down his face. As Fairy godmother fixed the barrier with a quick spell, Adam and Belle walked up behind Ben and put their hands on his shoulders. He looked at them with tear-filled eyes as his father tried to console him. "There will be other girls." Ben shook his head, "No... Not like (Y/n)." "Why do you say that honey?" Belle asked, rubbing his arm gently. "From the moment I first saw her, something inside me was pulled towards her... Like I'm meant to be with her..." Ben croaked as he held his tears back. Belle and Adam gasped at the news and looked between themselves. Love at first sight?
