Battle for Haven
Jason stopped and sniffed the air. He also listened to the wind. "Guys." He spoke.
"What is it?" Loki asked.
"We're surrounded."
"WHAT!" The others yelled in unison.
"Yeah. We're surrounded."
"What do you smell?" Weiss asked.
Jason got quiet for a minute before he spoke again. "Neo. Stop hiding your true power."
Who, me?* Neo signed, pointing to herself.
"Yes, you." Jason said. "We're going to need it."
Everyone looked at Neo and saw red/white fire flickering from her eyes.
Surprise.* Neo signed.
"WHAT!" The group yelled, turning to look from Neo to Jason.
The windows in a dorm room shattered, and a blonde bombshell flew through the air. Jason jumped and caught a naked Yang before lowering her to the ground. He glared at the window before a second figure was flung from the window.
They looked over to see Scott hit the floor and skid to a halt.
"Fuck!" Scott yelled getting up to show that he was also naked, but he'd acquired a rather nasty case of road rash. He stumbled towards Yang and placed a bag next to her, before his Aura activated and the road rash healed. He reached into his own bag and pulled out a roll of clothes. He unrolled the clothes and pulled on a pair of boxers, a muscle shirt, a pair of tactical pants, and a leather jacket. He reached down to help Yang get dressed but saw that Summer and Tai had already taken care of it.
"What happened?" Jason asked on the verge of a demand.
"We were attacked." Scott said. "He cut off our Aura, we couldn't use our Semblances."
Ruby and Oscar froze and reached for each other out of reflex. They began hyperventilating.
"Bronze." Jason hissed.
"Who?" Scott asked.
"Bronze. It's a long story, but if Bronze and his wife Mocha are here then we are in trouble, but that's not the only one who's here."
"Who else?"
"Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald are also here." Jason sniffed the air and almost went feral. "JOKER!" He shrieked, activating his Shadow Semblance so there were three of him, and then everyone of their friends who weren't there.
They watched in amazement as Shira, Amber, Auburn, Damian, Ember, Violet, Coco, Fox, Velvet, Yatsuhashi, Geoff, Awena, Cliff, and Viridian appeared with them.
Jason sniffed the air, and the hairs on his arm stood on end.
"What is it?" Someone asks. "What is it?"
"I smell blood, and... Adam."
"Adam!?" Blake asked in horror.
"Not just him. There's more."
The lights came to life and showed that they are indeed surrounded.
"Well, well, well." Bronze's Familiar voice called out. "What do we have here?"
Jason turned to face Bronze but was knocked down by Mocha.
"Hey there kiddo." Mocha said stepping on his head, pushing it into the ground. "How are you doing?"
The foot was knocked off of his head, and he heard Summer say. "Do that again and I'll kill you." Her voice was so different from her usual voice. It was cold.
"And how are you going to do that?" Mocha asked, running at them only to run into a wall of white rose petals. "OW! OW! OW! OW! OW!" She yelled as she fell backwards, covered in tiny cuts.
The rose petals surround Mocha and Bronze before descending upon them.
A brilliant light flashed, and Summer fell to the floor.
"That's better." Bronze says. "Now. What to do to you for hurting my wife?"
"Hey." Qrow said.
Bronze looked at Qrow only for Qrow to punch him in the face.
"Leave my wife alone, otherwise she'll castrate you and shove your dick down your throat."
Bronze swung a long sword at Qrow, only for it to get caught in the cobblestone.
"Damn. That's pretty unlucky." Qrow said before kicking him in the face.
"BLAKE!" Adam's cold voice fills the air.
The group looked around to see Adam's White Fang group.
"Adam!?" Blake asks.
"Yes Blake. It's me, and I have something for you."
"I don't want anything you have."
"Really?" Adam asked. He nodded at three White Fang members who tossed three lumps at Blake. The lumps began unraveling and rolled to a stop at Blakes feet.
Blake shrieked in horror, terror, heartbreak, and distress at what she saw. She couldn't process it and passed out.
"BLAKE! NO!" Sun yelled. He looked at the decayed heads of Mister and Missus B, and Ilia. "NO! You're going to pay for this Adam! OBSIDIAN!" A bolt of light hit Sun and he bulked up before he grabbed 'Berserker' and charged Adam.
Adam grabbed 'Agony' and everyone's Aura faded out as the Great swords Aura activated.
Adam and Sun clashed with their blades clanging against each other. Sun used his Heraldic strength to force Adam away. "HOW DARE YOU!" He roared. "I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!"
"How will you do that when you're dead!" Adam roared and swung 'Agony' at Sun. Sun deflected with 'Berserker' and kicked Adam out of the way before swinging Berserker down on him. Adam swung 'Agony' up to block but was disarmed when Sun knocked 'Agony' out of his hand, and everyone felt their Aura activate, and not a second too soon because Bronze went to decapitate Jason, but his Aura activated in time.
"Shit!" Bronze yelled.
"Now let me show you something." Jason said as he kicked Bronze off of him and vaulted up. "You may have taken my Shadow Semblance, but what happens when I've got multiple!" He yelled glowing green and bulking up.
"Fuck." Bronze said.
Jason ran at him and punched him in the gut causing him to puke blood and sent him flying into Scott's fist that would have broken his nose if not for the aura. Scott looked at Jason and nodded. "You bulked up."
"New Semblance." Jason responded.
"Oh. I want to fight you using that some time."
"Let's survive tonight and I'll fight you anytime."
"Deal." Scott Said looking out until he saw a familiar mop of gray hair. "Look who it is."
Jason looked over and saw the same mop of hair. "Mercury?"
"I think so. Want to go show him that it's a bad idea to mess with our family and friends?"
"Let's do it." Jason said.
They walked over to Mercury but were stopped when a blur hit them. "You're Not going anywhere!" Mocha yelled.
"She's got a speed Semblance!" Jason said.
Mocha hit him again and his Visor was knocked off. "Heh. How are you going to see me now?"
"Oh. I don't need to see you." Jason said. "Pardus. I have a speedster for you." The Alpha said.
"What?" Mocha asked.
"Oh. I'd start running." Scott said smugly.
Mocha looked at them. "What are you doing?"
"Me? I'm not doing anything."
Mocha ran at them and began punching and kicking and shield-bashing them. She slammed Jason into the ground and raised her shield to cut his head off but was stopped when something grabbed her foot. She looked behind her but didn't see anything, she looked at Jason who was smiling. "Bye." He spoke. Mocha was pulled off and dragged away into the darkness, screaming.
"MOCHA!" Bronze yelled running after her.
Jason and Scott looked at each other before looking back at Mercury and kept walking towards him. On their way they were attacked by White Fang Members, but they defeated them easily, and grabbed Mercury.
"What's up dude." Jason said from his right side.
"How are you doing?" Scott asked.
"Do you remember me?"
"Or Yang?"
"Oh shit." Mercury swore.
"We'll take that as a yes." Scot said.
Jason and Scot each grabbed a leg and pulled, with a terrible ripping sound Mercury was left screaming without legs. Jason and Scot looked around. "Who's that guy?" Jason asked, nodding at a big guy walking through the crowd like they weren't fighting.
"Oh, fuck." Scot swore.
"What?"
"Team SHAY, Coral, and Loki fought that guy and he was able to hold us off."
"Well then. Let's see what you and I can do about that." Jason said.
"We're going to need more than just us."
"Really? Okay..."
"NOT SO FAST!" Bronze yelled, attacking Jason only for Jason to dodge. "I'm going to make you pay for attacking Mocha like that!"
"Hypocrite much?" Jason asked.
"I don't know what you did to her, but whatever it was it didn't work!"
"Really? Pardus? Did you take her Semblance?"
Pardus and a pack of snow leopards ran up with blinding speed. "We took her Semblance Alpha. We left her alive seeing as how we weren't sure if you would have wanted her dead."
"Is she a threat?"
"Not As of right now. Perhaps in the future, but not now."
"Oh. Kill her then. If she's a threat in the future, then we don't need to be looking over our backs for threats. We already have enough."
Bronze looked horrified. "No! I won't let you!" He yelled activating his Semblance, taking their Semblances for five minutes.
"Give him a five minute head start." Jason said. "Then you may chase after them."
"As you command Alpha."
Jason looked around and saw that the battle was almost over. Neptune, Sage, and Scarlet were taking down Adam's White Fang. San and Ebon were using a sword and shield tactic to fight off Adam's white Fang. Ruby, Weiss, and Yang were protecting Blake who was sitting on the ground catatonic, staring at the decapitated head of her parents and another girl. José and Hel were standing back to back while fighting off Adam's White Fang.
Time seemed to still as a scent penetrated his nose. He looked around and saw Cinder pull back on a bowstring and loose three arrows. "SCOTT!" He roared and took off.
Scott turned around and saw the arrows flying through the air. He went to activate his Semblance but couldn't, thanks to that ass's Semblance still active. He ran as fast as he could but realized to his horror that he wasn't going to make it.
Jason activated his boosters, but they wouldn't activate. Had Bronze's Semblance messed with them? He ran as fast as he could, but he wasn't going to make it. At the last second, he grabbed one of the arrows, and slammed it into the ground, shattering it.
As time sped back up, he heard two voices cry out in pain. He looked around and saw Yang and Weiss with Arrows sticking out of their bodies. "NO!" He shouted, running over to them. "NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!" He shouted.
"YANG!" Scott shouted.
Tai Yang and Summer heard the shouts and turned around to see Jason and Scott on their knees looking over Yang and Weiss who had Arrows sticking out of their bodies and blood beginning to pool around them.
"YANG!" They yelled in unison.
Jaune looked around and saw his injured friends.
"GO!" Pyrrha yelled. "Cinder is mine!" She roared, creating a fireball in her hands and throwing it at Cinder.
"Oh." Cinder cooed as she deflected the fireball. "Did I hurt your friends?"
Pyrrha's eyes burned with rage and she readied Miló and Akoúo.
A diminutive girl walked up beside her. *You're going to pay for that you bitch.* Neo signed.
"Oh. You're still alive?" Cinder asked the smaller woman. "Let me fix that."
Neo smiled an evil smile and ran at Cinder. Cinder sliced into Neo who shattered and appeared behind her only to hit her with 'Hush'. Cinder turned around and went to attack Neo but was hit from behind with Akoúo cutting into her Aura.
She threw a fireball at Pyrrha, who caught it and spun back around before throwing it back with more power behind it. Cinder tried getting out of the way only for her feet to be stuck to the floor. She looked down to see that her feet were frozen to the ground. She looked up and saw Neo smiling that same evil smile. Her eyes were glowing with Maiden power. Neo flipped her off and let the fireball consume both of them only for her to shatter.
Pyrrha watched as Cinder was hit with the Fireball and didn't flinch when Neo appeared beside her. "Do you think she's dead?" Pyrrha asked.
Neo looked at Pyrrha with a raised Eyebrow.
"No. I didn't think so either." She said as she readied herself for a fight.
Cinder walked out of the fireball and looked furious. "I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT!" She roared.
Neo made the universal sign for: 'Bring it bitch'. And readied 'Hush'.
Cinder ran at them and began slicing at them with glass swords.
Neo let each one hit, shattering her illusion while Pyrrha sped away.
Cinder flew into the sky and prepared to shoot a fireball at her opponents when a dagger flew at her and hit her in the forehead.
"THAT WAS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW YOU BITCH!" Summer Rose yelled, swearing for the first time in her life.
Cinder strained to Look over at Summer and saw Yang and Weiss breathing. "NOOOOoooo..." she yelled as she fell to the ground, dead.
Pyrrha was filled with the rest of the Fall Maiden's power, and she flew into the sky as she felt herself strain against her power while Cinder's body bloated into a grotesque blob that exploded sending gore and viscera in every direction.
"CINDER!" A voice yelled. "NNNOOOO!"
Emerald ran towards Cinder but was blocked by two people. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" She yelled.
"Make us." Loki said. "And before you even THINK about using your Semblance! Know that I'll give you a nightmare so bad it will make this seem like a dream."
"THIS IS MY WORST NIGHTMARE!"
"No." Coral said. "Your worst nightmare is being left alone."
"How would you even know what being alone is like! You have the perfect life."
"If you only knew how wrong you were. My life wasn't great until about five years ago, and even now it's better than it was, but..."
"Don't give me that shit! Your mother didn't abandon..." Emerald was cut off as Coral bitch slapped her across the mouth. "Shut your fucking mouth you whiney little twat! You don't know Jack shit about my life, and you think that having a bad life means you can try and kill my brother-in-law and his friends! No! My mother made me in a fucking lab where I was tortured from conception! Don't even start that boo hoo my life was so bad horse shit! You CHOSE! You fucking chose to be like this while I went and made a name for myself! Don't you dare think that you get a get out of jail free card because of your life!"
Emerald felt her face and winced at the pain.
"Now. You have two options. Either help us get the wounded to the infirmary and we can discuss your new future... or you can run back to whoever was holding Cinder's leash."
"FYI." Loki said. "My brother is over there with his girlfriend Cinder shot with an arrow and who you helped torture and almost kill multiple times. He just heard everything we've said. So, your options are more like stay with us or die."
Emerald backed up in fear. "Wh-what?"
"My brother is Jason Todd. The fucking Alpha. The guy whose legs you blew off?"
"Oh. Fuck no! How long do you think I'd last if I stayed here?"
"As Long As we offer you our protection." Coral said. "If we vouch for you then he won't attack you."
"What? You guys want me to be your sex toy or something?"
"No. You can't be at the age of consent yet so no. We may bend the law to the point of breaking, but we won't commit statutory rape. Besides we don't need you for a sex toy or a sex partner. We've got each other."
"Then what!"
"Let us help you get on the right track."
"What's the catch?"
"No catch. You stop trying to kill Jason and his friends, and in exchange you get freedom, protection, and two mother figures for the price of one."
Emerald looked at them, not sure if she should trust them or not.
Jason was holding Weiss and sniffed the air. The hair on his body rose and his ears perked up. "Scott? Can you use your Semblance yet?"
"What?" Scott asked, looking up at him."
"Can you use your Semblance yet?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Start getting our wounded inside as fast as you can, then get back out here."
"Why?"
"Grimm, and Joker."
"Fuck." He said before he began blipping until everyone who was injured was in the infirmary.
"What's wrong Jason?" Loki asked.
"Grimm. A lot of them. Do you guys want to go defend the Infirmary?"
"Whose all in there?"
There was a cry of pain and Oscar came flying out of the school. Ruby caught him and ran to the hospital while Jason looked at the figure walking out of the school. "OZPIN!" The figure yelled, turning to run after them.
"OW! FUCK!" Sun yelled as Adam Taurus kicked him in the balls and ran away, leaving Agony where it fell.
"Emerald." Mercury called out in pain. His legs were ripped off and he was in agony.
Jason walked over to him and cut a portal to Cliff under him. He stood ready and waited. Scott, San, Ebon, José, Hel, Gale, Team SSSN, Pyrrha, Neo, Roman, Nora, and Ren came up beside him. "Okay guys. Here's the situation. We've got Adam Taurus running away, that guy going to get Oscar and anyone else in the infirmary, and we've got a shit ton of Grimm being let by a madman coming right at us. Plans?"
"You, Scott, and Nora go fight the guy running after Oscar." Ebon said. "We'll take care of the Grimm."
"Be careful!" Jason urged. "The guy leading them is dangerous."
"We know." Pyrrha said. "Just Go."
Scott, Jason, and Nora ran after the man chasing after Oscar. When they caught up to him Jason jumped onto the wall and jumped forward kicking him in the back and knocking him to the floor before he activated His strength Semblance and grabbed the man.
"My fight is not with you." The man rumbled. "My fight is with Ozpin."
"Sorry, but his host is my sister's boyfriend, so I can't let you kill him."
"Then it is a shame that you must die."
"Don't think so." Scott said, bringing his fists down on the man's head.
"You again. I thought you learned your lesson."
"I did. I'll make sure you go down this time."
"Why do you insist on stopping me from stopping Ozpin? He sends people to their deaths for his pathetic war against her ladyship."
"Because maybe we think that your ladyship is wrong!" Jason yelled kicking the man.
The man grabbed Jason by the leg and swung him into Scott and Nora before grabbing him by his head and breaking his back and neck over his leg.
"JASON!" Scott yelled.
"I did try and warn you." The man said. "Maybe now you'll listen to me."
"Not likely." Nora said, bringing her hammer down on the man's head. The man caught it and punched Nora away only to be grabbed by Scott and suplexed into the ground.
"Can you handle this guy for a few seconds?" Scott asked.
"As if you have to ask." Nora said swinging her hammer into the man's face. Time slowed down as Scott used his Semblance to pick up Jason and run him to the infirmary. He laid him on an empty bed and ran out before he cut his semblance and punched the man in the face and into the ground before he heard... "JASON!" Coming from the infirmary.
A second later Loki and Coral ran down the hall foaming at the mouth. "MOVE!" Loki spat before glowing black.
Nora and Scott dove out of the way and the man looked at Loki getting a face full of her Semblance.
"No!" The man yelled. "No! I can't believe you sent her out there to die Ozpin!"
"Hazel." Ozpin said in a sympathetic voice. "She chose..."
"No! No more of your lies! Because of you Gretchen is dead!"
"Hazel..."
"No! So long as I live, I will make sure that you pay for killing Gretchen!"
Loki pulled out of the Nightmare and gasped while Coral ran at Hazel. She grabbed him and slammed him into the wall. "You're a Monster!" Loki shouted. "You are using your sister's death as a way to justify your existence!"
"You don't know anything!" Hazel yelled. "How could you! You've never lost..."
Loki punched him in the throat. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" She roared. "YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME! JASON AND I LOST OUR SISTER YEARS AGO! DON'T GIVE ME THAT SHIT! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE MY SISTER! THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT I TOOK IT OUT ON THE MONSTERS OF REMNANT WHILE YOU KILL INNOCENT VICTIMS!" Loki grabbed Hazel and suplexed him into the ground.
"Jeez!" Scott yelled. "Remind me never to piss you off!"
"Never piss Loki off." Nora said.
Loki wasn't paying attention and grabbed Hazel by his hair and pulled up. "Normally I might believe in redemption, but for you, there is none!" She hissed before pulling his head up and slamming it into the ground.
Hazel reached up to grab her, but Coral stabbed her clawed hand into his hand and stabbed it into the floor. He reached up with his other hand, but Nora brought 'Magnhild' down on that hand.
Loki kept slamming Hazel's face into the ground until he head butted her in the face with a quick movement and got up.
Scott ran at him and pulled 'Death' and 'Rebirth' from their sheaths and decapitated Hazel, sending a blood geyser into the air before he put them back in a swift motion, feeling energized.
Hazel's body fell to the floor in a lifeless heap and blood soaked the hallway.
"Well that happened." Nora said.
"You guys go help the others." Coral said. "we'll get back to the infirmary."
"Right." Scott Said leaving.
Loki and Coral ran back to the infirmary only to find Jason gone. "Where's Jason!" Loki demanded.
"His body healed, and he disappeared into a shadow." Qrow said.
"Fuck!" Loki swore. "Be Safe." She said looking at the hallway.
Scott and Nora arrived outside to see madness. Their friends were in a stalemate with the Grimm. It seemed like when they killed one Grimm, three more took their place.
Nora thrust 'Magnhild' into the air and shouted: "FOR REMNANT!"
A massive lightning bolt flashed and hit Nora, increasing her power tenfold. She ran at the Grimm and took out entire legions with her new strength.
Scott activated his Semblance and used 'Death' and 'Rebirth' to end the lives of countless Grimm.
Pyrrha and Neo were using their Maiden powers and respective weapons and abilities to plow through Grimm like a hot knife through butter.
Sun was wielding 'Berserker' and giving the others a power-up. He would devastate mobs of Grimm with a single swing.
Gale was throwing Dust at the Grimm and would change it into another form of Dust before activating it and making holes in the Grimm that were soon refilled with more Grimm.
José and Hel stood Back to back. Hel defended José while José used his Semblance to increase his friends and comrades' stamina and strength.
San and Ebon used the same Shield and Sword tactics while Sage, Scarlet, Neptune, Roman, and Ren took out as many of the Grimm as possible.
"We won't be able to hold out much longer." Neptune said.
"Then we hold out as long as we can!" Ebon shouted
Two figures burst from the shadows and began tearing through the Grimm while another figure began using a Wakizashi and Tanto dagger to kill Grimm before disappearing and reappearing somewhere else. Neo noticed this and licked her lips.
The Grimm began to wane but not nearly fast enough.
"Need a Hand?" A deep gruff voice asked.
"If you're here to help we'll take all the help we can get!" Roman said.
There was a pressure wave that made everyone standing against the Grimm feel stronger.
"Go Creed!" The voice yelled.
"Don't have to tell me twice!" Another voice said before running into the Grimm.
A man walked up to the line and began stabbing an honest to the brothers pitchfork into the Grimm as they approached.
'We might actually be able to save Haven.' Ebon and Roman thought at the same time. As if the universe was laughing at them the ground shook.
"Ah fuck." The man said.
"What is it?" Roman asked.
"Goliath's."
Roman paled. 'How were they going to defeat Goliaths?'
"Leave this to me." Nora said, slamming 'Magnhild' into the ground, launching herself into the air and flying towards the Goliaths. When she got to the first Goliath she slammed 'Magnhild' into the lead Goliath's head with enough force to shatter its bone armor. She followed this up by spinning and swinging 'Magnhild' into the front of the Goliath, crushing its face. "TREMBLE BEFORE THE QUEEN OF THE CASTLE OF THUNDER!" She shouted.
Ren facepalmed when they heard Nora's war cry.
"Damn." The man with the Pitchfork said. "The lungs on that girl."
"You have no idea." Ren said.
"I'm sure that she can handle it!" Roman said. "Let's push on."
"Fall back!" Pyrrha yelled as she and Neo flew into the sky causing the sky to darken with clouds and thunder rumble across the sky.
Everyone fell back and lightning struck the Grimm, killing many of them.
"Now! Finish them!" Pyrrha yelled.
The group ran at the Grimm with the intent to kill off the remaining Grimm.
Jason
The first thing Jason remembered was a stiff pain in his neck. He stretched his neck, rubbing the stiffness out of it. He rolled off his bed and to his feet before stretching and popping his back and neck. He looked around the infirmary and saw Weiss, Yang, and Blake in beds. Weiss and Yang were unconscious while Blake was curled in the fetal position, crying. Oscar was lying in another bed while Ruby held his hand. Tai Yang was sitting next to Yang holding her hand, and Summer sat next to Weiss holding her hand. He should have been the one holding Weiss's hand, but that bastard was still out there, and needed to be stopped. He disappeared into a shadow just as Loki and Coral ran inside.
He appeared outside and saw Joker leading a horde of Grimm towards the School. He used his Semblance to grab Joker and pulled him towards him and disappeared into a shadow. When they reappeared, they were in the main entrance of the school and Jason kicked the Joker into a statue, opening a hole in the floor that turned out to be an elevator down.
Joker tackled Jason into the hole and tried hitting him with a crowbar. Jason pulled himself out of the way by his shadow and spun kicking Joker into the ground.
"Well, well, well." Joker said. "It looks like you learned from our last encounter."
"You better fucking believe it!" Jason snarled.
Joker drew his second crowbar and swung at Jason. Jason blocked with his twin heated Halberd and swung, but Joker teleported behind him before he swung his crowbars. Jason ducked and swung up, but Joker teleported away again. Only for Jason to appear behind him and kicked him into the ground.
"Ow!" Joker yelled. "That Hurt!"
"Your suffering has only just begun!" Jason snarled, kicking Joker into a wall only for Joker to teleport out of the way of the wall and behind Jason, hitting him in the back. Jason pulled himself out of the way with his shadow and spun glowing green and hitting Joker's crowbars hard enough to knock them out of his hands.
Joker teleported grabbing his crowbars and changing them to his chemical guns and aimed at Jason only for Jason to appear behind him and grabbed him by the neck trying to strangle him. Joker just teleported away and shot at Jason with green gas.
Jason appeared behind Joker and kicked him into the gas. "Take a taste of your own medicine ass hole!"
"Oh." Joker said standing up and walking out of the gas. "This gas has no effect on me. Do you really think that I'd make a gas that affects me?"
"Doesn't matter now." Jason said as they exited the shaft and entered an underground cavern. "Hope you're ready to die."
"What. Are you going to take me seriously now?"
In response Jason created nine copies of himself. One already had the Heated blade halberds out, another took out an Assault Rifle/Flamethrower, another took out a pair of gauntlets while another took out what appeared to be mini Buzzsaw blades, and another took out a pair of pistols. Another took out a kris dagger and... a pocket knife? Joker just shrugged and looked at another Jason copy who took out a sword with a shotgun sheath. Finally, one Jason glowed green and bulked up while another glowed brown and the final Jason copy took out a pair of pistols that looked unique even by Remnant standards. "Oh." Joker said. "That's just not fair."
"Neither was kidnapping, torturing, and assaulting my Fiancé you sick fuck!" The Jason's yelled in unison.
"Oh. You're Not playing around, are you?" Joker asked.
In response the Jason's attacked. The one with the katana opened a portal next to the Jason wielding the Heated Blade Halberds and jumped through before swinging at Joker.
Joker teleported back only to realize that he'd teleported against the Jason who glowed brown and felt pain from his touch. He backflipped and dodged the Jason with the Katana and ducked under the fist of the Jason who glowed green before teleporting away. "Have you ever thought of using this little trick to gang bang that little thot of yours?"
The Jason's rushed him shouting war cries and promising pain.
He turned to run but the Jason's outran him and surrounded him before he was back to dodging their attacks. The one with the Kris dagger spun and slashed at him in an attempt to kill him, but again he dodged.
He teleported away only to get bashed in the back of the head with the Assault Rifle and thrown forward into the Kris dagger. He flipped over that Jason and rolled to the side as the Jason who glowed brown reached for him. He teleported away and slid under the Jason who glowed green and took off running only for the Jason with the weird pistols to shoot at him from either side and the Jason with the regular pistols and the Jason with the Assault Rifle to shoot at him.
He teleported away again and almost ran into the Jason with the Katana but slid under it and into the Jason with the Kris Dagger. He spun away and into the Jason with the Heated Blade Halberds and fell on his back only to be kicked in the nuts by the Jason who glowed brown. "Ouchy." He said as that Jason stepped on his junk.
"Ya know." He rasped. "This reminds me of a joke. Now, stop me if you've heard this one before. Ya see, there were these two guys in a lunatic asylum... and one night they decide they don't like living in the asylum anymore. They decide they're going to escape! So, like, they get up onto the roof, and there, they see the rooftops of the town, stretching away in the moonlight... stretching away to freedom. Now. The first guy, he jumps straight across, no problem. But his friend, his friend daredn't make the leap. Y'see... y'see, he's afraid of falling. So then, the first guy gets an idea... he says "Hey! I have my flashlight with me! I'll shine it across the gap between the buildings. You can walk along the beam and join me!" B-but the second guy just shakes his head. He suh-says... he says... "wh-what do you think I am? Crazy?! You'd turn it off when I was halfway across!" Joker began laughing as if it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard.
The Jason's looked at each other before Joker tried teleporting away and into a Jason whose hand was wrapped in Aura and was punched into the Jason with the Kris dagger who stabbed him in the gut with the dagger and twisted.
The Jason who glowed green grabbed his head and ripped it off before throwing it at the Jason with the Katana who split his head in half.
The Jason's disappeared leaving only one who leaned against a pillar. The night had taken a toll on him, but it wasn't done yet. He needed to help his friends, but he was so tired. He needed to take a break, but his friends needed him. He pushed himself up and walked to the elevator.
He sat down in the center and laid down. He'd take a Power Nap on his way up.
Scott looked around the battlefield. There was so much ash in the air that it was hard to see and breathe. "Who's not dead." He choked on ash.
"Hey there slugger." Bronze said from beside him.
He swung his arm out in the hopes of hitting him, but it was parried by Bronze.
"How ya doin kid?" Bronze asked. "You tired? Here. Let me help!" He rushed Scott only to get tackled by a big guy.
"Yeah. I don't know who the fuck you are, but this is your only chance to leave!"
"Who are you!" Bronze and Scott yelled in unison.
"You can call me creed. I'm sort of like Coral's cool uncle, but she won't acknowledge that I'm actually her uncle because I tried killing her father."
"Did you follow any of that?" Bronze asked Scott.
"I'm just as lost as you mate." Scott said. "No go." He said punching Bronze in the face hard enough to shatter his remaining Aura and break his nose.
A figure came running up to them and grabbed Bronze before taking off.
"Well that happened." Scott said.
"Scott!" José and Gale yelled.
"Guys! Where are you?"
"Just follow our voices dude!" Gale called back.
Scott moved through the ash following the sounds of his brother's voices when he ran into an Ursa Major. "Holy Fuck Balls!" He yelled sliding to a stop.
"I've got ya kid." Creed launched himself at the Ursa Major and broke its neck with his bare hands.
"You've got to teach me how to do that."
"I can teach you a lot more than that." Creed said. "Let's go."
The two kept running until they found Gale and José. "Are you guys, okay?" Scott asked.
"Yeah. You?" Gale asked.
"Had a couple of close calls. Let's find the others."
"Hey! Roll call!"
"Here!" San called out.
"I'm all right." Ebon said.
"I'm not injured." Whitley explained.
"Onyx and I are okay." Gabby called out to them.
"Gabby!" A man exclaimed.
"Dad!" Gabby yelled. "Where are you!"
"I am All Right." Pyrrha said.
"Neo and I are okay too." Roman said.
"Guys!" Sun yelled. "Where are you!"
"We're All right." Neptune, Sage, and Scarlet called out.
"Ren! Nora!" Scott called out. "Where are you!"
"HELP!" Ren called out. "It's Nora! She's not responding!"
"Shit! Everyone! We need to find Nora! Does anyone have any wind dust!"
"WHERE'S PARDUS!" San called out.
"Here I am." Pardus said. "Sorry for not calling out. I wasn't able to get her speed semblance. I mean… I was, but I wasn't. It was weird. Then they out maneuvered me and knocked me out."
"So long as you're okay."
"I am."
"NORA!" Ren called out. "NORA! Where are you?"
"Clear the ash and we can find her faster." Gabby's dad said.
"I'll try." Pyrrha said.
They waited for a second before a wind blew through the clearing and they could see. Everyone had ash smudges on their bare skin.
"Spread out and find Nora!" Scott said. "Stay within sight of each other in case someone or something is waiting to strike!"
They spread out to search for Nora. They searched for as long as they could, but they couldn't find Nora.
"Where is she!" Ren shouted.
"Here!" Gabby's dad shouted.
They ran over and found 'Magnhild', but no Nora.
"NORA!" Ren shouted. "NORA!"
"Calm down kid." Gabby's dad said. "We'll find her."
"NO! You don't understand! I need to find Nora! We have to find her!"
"And we will, but we're exhausted. We need to rest and then we'll find her."
"NO! We have to..."
Logan pinched the bundle of nerves on Ren's neck and knocked him out. "I'm sorry kid, but we'll do no good to her if we die."
"What's wrong?" A voice asked, walking up to them.
"Nora's missing." Gabby's dad explained.
"I can help." Coral said. "I can give you guys a boost."
"Give me and Creed a boost. We have the best chance of finding her. Then you guys get some sleep and follow us tomorrow."
"Sounds like a plan. We'll have to keep Ren sedated until we leave. He won't stop until we find her."
"Then let's not waste time."
Coral used her Semblance on Logan and Creed and watched them leave after sniffing 'Magnhild'. She picked Ren up and they walked back to Heaven Academy. When they got there, they passed the entrance and saw Jason staggering out before falling to his knees.
"Jason!" Coral yelled. "Scott!"
"On it!" Scott yelled running over to Jason. "Are you okay?" He asked.
"Joker's dead." Jason said. "He can't hurt anyone anymore."
"That's great, but how are you?"
"Exhausted."
"Come on. Let's get you to the infirmary."
"I'm so fucking tired dude. I don't think I can move."
"Then let me help you." Scott said grabbing Jason's arm and wrapping it around his neck and pulled him to his feet. "Come on dude. I need you to work with me."
"Here." San said grabbing his other side, and together they dragged Jason to the infirmary.
When they arrived, they saw that Weiss and Yang were up, but Blake was unconscious after crying so much, and everyone seemed worried.
Scott and San put Jason on a bed and watched him collapse. He tried sitting up, but he could barely move. He raised a hand, but it was shaking so much.
"Jason." Weiss said.
"Hey babe." Jason said. "You don't have to worry about Joker anymore. He's dead. I made sure of that."
"How did you kill him?"
"I created nine copies of myself and stabbed him with the Kris dagger, ripped his head off, and cut his head in half."
"Why not cut the rest of him in half?" Gale snarked.
"Fuck you, that's why."
"No thanks." Gale said. "I'll leave that for Weiss."
Weiss walked over to Jason and laid next to him.
"I'm so tired." He spoke.
"Then sleep." Weiss urged.
"Are you guys going to be, okay?"
"Yes." Roman said. We're all in here so we can fortify this place if we need to."
"You heard him." Weiss said. "You did great, but you need to rest. Don't worry. We'll be alright, and we'll be here when you wake up. So, for now, just sleep."
"Okay." Jason said. "I'll sleep now. Good night. I love you."
"I love you too." Weiss said before kissing Him good night.
Jason passed out and fell into a deep sleep after that.
Everyone looked around. They had survived another attack. They were alive, and they felt relief flood through them. They laughed and cried and hugged and a few even kissed until they fell asleep leaving Loki and Coral the only ones still awake.
"Are you sure that you want to take Emerald in?" Loki whispered into Coral's ear. "After everything she's done?"
"You gave me a second chance." Coral said. "Why can't we give her one?"
"I suppose you have a point."
"Yes. Can you believe that they were able to defend Haven all by themselves?" Coral asked, nodding at the others.
"I'm surprised we were able to defend it as well as we did."
"It's because we're a bunch of bad asses."
"There is that."
The couple sat down and waited through the night. When it was time to get up, they let everyone sleep in until they woke up.
Most of them woke up after 10:00 A.M., but Jason, Ren, and Blake were still sleeping. Ren woke up after 3:00 P.M., and tried going after Nora, but Loki stopped him.
"I'm going to find Nora!" Ren said.
"And what good are you going to do her Dead!"
"I have to get to her!"
"No! Logan and Creed went after her. When Jason and Blake wake up, we'll follow."
Ren growled and walked back to his bed.
Loki watched him leave. She felt bad. If it was Coral or Jason, she'd kill anyone who tried stopping her, but They needed to wait to be at their best. She looked at Weiss and Jason and saw that they were sleeping quietly. She looked over at Blake and wished that she could help, but she knew that she couldn't, and she hated it.
They waited a while longer and Jason woke up around 6:00. He sat up and looked around.
"Jason?" Weiss asked. "Are you okay?"
"I'm hungry and thirsty." He spoke.
"Here you go." Loki said handing him a tray with a hamburger, fries, soda, and a shake. "You need a high calorie meal after yesterday."
"And drink plenty of water." Coral said handing him a bottle of ice cold water.
"Thanks." He said tucking in.
"So, what happened yesterday?" Coral asked. "You couldn't even move when we found you."
Jason told them the story of what had happened when he fought Joker.
"Well, no wonder you were exhausted." Coral said. "Sounds like you drained your Aura Reserves and kept going."
"But if he hadn't the Joker probably would have killed him." Loki said. "It sounds like Joker gave him a run for his money even WITH ten of him."
"He did. There were several times that I almost killed him only for him to slip away. I finally killed him by kicking him in the nuts to buy time."
Every guy in the room flinched and covered their crotches protectively. A normal kick to the nuts was painful, but one from Jason would be devastating.
"I can't believe he said that about Weiss." Whitley said.
"Why do you think I killed him?"
"Because He was going to kill Weiss if you didn't?"
"That too."
Jason got up and stretched, popping his joints. "Where to now?"
"We need to find Nora!" Ren said.
"What happened to Nora?!"
"She disappeared after the battle."
Jason grabbed 'Scarlet' and thought about Nora before cutting a portal in the air only for it to dissipate. "What?!" He asked in shock. "That usually works!"
"You expended too much Aura." Coral explained showing the scroll with Jason's Aura gauge saying that it was at one percent. "You need to let it recharge."
"How long will that take?"
"Give it a week or so, but don't use any Aura. It will only take longer."
"Fuck. Sorry Ren."
"Then I need to go get her!"
"NO!" Coral Shouted. "Gods, how many times do we have to tell you that it is too dangerous if we don't have everyone?"
"Do you guys even care!" Ren yelled.
"Why do you think that we don't!"
"Because if it was anyone but Nora then you'd storm out to find them!"
"You're right! Do you know why?!"
"Because you don't care!"
"NO! It's because Nora can take care of herself! It's because Nora has a fucking Herald inside her body! And it's because whoever took her is going to regret taking her five minutes after she wakes up! That's why we are going to wait until everyone in our group is ready to go! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!"
Ren went quiet.
"I Said. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!"
"YES!" Ren yelled.
"Good. No go sit down!"
Ren sat on his bed and waited.
"Well. That's one way to do it." Loki said.
Nora
Nora woke up lying against a wall. "Huh? Where am I?" She asked.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen!" A deep southern voice called out. "To Funland!"
The crowd cheered.
"Oh. That's where I am. Didn't the others say that Funland wasn't fun?"
"We've brought you another fight! Let's see if the little lady in the cage can last longer than the last one."
The crowd cheered again.
"First up! We've got her fighting against..."
The cage opened up and an Ursa Major walked in looking at Nora hungrily.
"YESSSSSSS!" Nora and the Thunderer yelled in unison.
The crowd went dead quiet.
"Uh. Little Lady. You know that that's a Grimm, right?"
"Yeah! I get to fight Grimm to my heart's content, and no one can tell me not to! I'm stoked!"
"Well, okay then. Fight!"
Nora shot off towards the Ursa Major at startling speed while the spectators watched in horror at what she did to it. One spectator involuntarily puked while another was involuntarily turned on.
"I didn't know a Grimm could bend like that." Another said.
When Nora was done, the Grimm began dissolving into ash. "Next fight please." Nora said sweetly.
The announcer dropped his mic out of sheer befuddlement.
"I Said Next fight please!" Nora growled.
The announcer looked startled and spoke. "G-get her, her next fight."
Nora smiled an evil smile. This is where the fun begins.
