Beca was in her room choosing an outfit for a party she had to attend in a few weeks. She was in doubt between a dress and a pantsuit. She wasn't very fond of dresses but she thought they looked better for such an occasion.
Charlotte made her way shyly into the room, holding something behind her back. She stood beside her mother and poked her thigh twice.
Beca looked down at her daughter and smiled.
"Hey, Char. What've you got behind your back?" Beca asked.
Charlotte didn't answer, she just gave her mother a piece of paper. Beca grabbed it, expecting to see a drawing, but her eyes instantly filled with tears at what she saw.
"Dear Mommy and Mamma,
please come to my graduation on May 31st at 10 am
Charlotte"
Beca covered her mouth as she read the words over and over. She then looked at Charlotte, who was looking at her with an expectant but still shy look. Beca knelt down in front of her and just hugged her tight, biting back a sob.
"Will you come, mommy?" Charlotte asked, shyly.
"Of course I will, Char! I wouldn't miss it. Ever." Beca said, wiping a tear.
Charlotte smiled but then frowned.
"Why are you crying, mommy?" Charlotte asked.
"It's just.. you're growing up so fast.." Beca chuckled but didn't stop crying. "Have you showed this to your mom yet?"
"I'm gonna do it!" Charlotte grinned and ran out of the room when Sophie came in.
"Mommy?" Sophie asked, coming close to her mom. She raised her arms with a pout. "Up up up."
Beca chuckled and sat on the bed, picking Sophie up and putting her on her lap. Sophie touched her mom's cheeks and her tears with a puzzled look on her face.
"You two are growing up so fast." Beca said. "I know you can't, but I wished you could be my little girls forever."
Beca chuckled and wiped a few more tears. Sophie placed a kiss on her cheek and smiled at her. Beca chuckled and more tears rolled down her cheeks.
"You're just like mamma, Sophie." she smiled.
"Mamma." Sophie smiled.
"Yeah." Beca kissed the top of her head and hugged her tight. "I love you guys so much."
Sophie smiled up at her mom and Beca kissed her cheek.
"Come on, I should start dinner." Beca said and stood up, carrying Sophie on her hip to the kitchen. She wasn't even there for 30 seconds when her wife and daughter entered squealing in happiness.
"Babe, did you see Charlotte's invitation?" Chloe asked with a huge grin.
"Yeah. I can't believe she's graduating already!" Beca said, her eyes filling with tears once again.
"Beca, she's graduating from Kindergarten, not High School." Chloe rolled her eyes.
Beca laughed and wiped her tears.
"What's High School, mamma?" Charlotte asked.
"It's the last step before college. You're going to High School in 9 years, honey." Chloe said.
"There's still time." Charlotte said with a relieved look on her face as she sat down with a sigh.
Chloe and Beca laughed.
"You're right." Beca said.
Charlotte smiled proudly.

Chloe was home with Sophie on a Wednesday afternoon while Beca went to the store with Charlotte to pick up a few things for dinner, since Stacie and Aubrey were going to eat dinner with them.
Chloe was actually snuggling with Sophie while they watched cartoons. Sophie was paying close attention to the TV, while Chloe was almost falling asleep. She dozed off a couple times but managed to stay awake until her wife and daughter got home. She jolted awake when Charlotte came screaming into the living room about something Chloe was too sleepy to understand.
"Charlotte, indoor voice." Beca warned, coming into the room after her daughter. "Now tell mamma what happened at the store."
"A man said I should be in a movie!" Charlotte said with a huge grin.
"Oh my God. Really?!" Chloe asked, as excited as her daughter.
"Yes!" Charlotte said, jumping up and down with excitement.
"He gave me his card, he's producing a movie and he thinks Charlotte would be perfect for the part." Beca explained and gave Chloe the card the man had given her.
Chloe read the card with a smile. She was really excited for Charlotte.
"What's the part?" Chloe asked.
"He explained it to me, the movie revolves around this girl, her parents are getting a divorce and then their daughter is abducted." Beca said. "It sounded pretty intense."
Chloe nodded, understanding what her wife meant. It did sound pretty intense for a 6 year old.
"We'll talk about it later." Chloe promised and Beca nodded. "Now let's start dinner, I'm starving."
"What are you gonna make, mamma?" Charlotte asked.
"I think some tortellini with tomato and basil sauce, what do you think?" Beca was the one who answered.
"Yum yum, I like tellini." Charlotte said.
Beca smiled.
"Wanna help me cook?" She asked.
"Yes!" Charlotte clapped her hands.
"I think I'm gonna help too, otherwise I'm gonna fall asleep." Chloe said, standing up.
Sophie saw that and whined, pouting at her redhead mother.
"Do you wanna help too, Sophie?" Chloe asked.
Sophie grinned and clapped her hands. Chloe took her to the bathroom to wash her hands and Charlotte followed them.
Beca got the ingredients ready and smiled when she saw her wife and kids entering the kitchen. Sophie was skipping in that cute way toddlers do, while Charlotte was actually skipping with a grin.
Beca grew pale when she saw Charlotte's grin.
It was missing a tooth at the front.
"Charlotte.. where's- what happened to your tooth?!" she asked.
Chloe and Sophie turned their heads and looked at Charlotte, who had a puzzled, confused look on her face. She touched her teeth and jumped when she felt one was missing.
"There was something weird in my mouth so I spit it out." Charlotte said.
Beca and Chloe ran to the bathroom and searched for a tiny tooth in the sink. They weren't successful, though they looked for 20 straight minutes. They were starting to get desperate, their daughter just lost her first tooth and they didn't have the tooth to show.
"Mamma, mommy!" Sophie said, sitting on the ground next to the toilet, to the couple's surprise, holding a tiny little tooth.
"Sophie, you found it!" Chloe said, grabbing Sophie's face and kissing it all over.
"Char! Sophie found your tooth!" Beca yelled to the kitchen, where Charlotte was.
Beca and Chloe kissed Sophie's face all over and returned to the kitchen, holding Charlotte's tooth.
"Oh my God, Char!" Chloe said, hugging her daughter tight. "This is so cool!"
"Do you know what to do with this tooth now?" Beca asked and Charlotte shook her head. "You put it under your pillow and the Tooth Fairy comes when you're asleep and changes the tooth for a dollar!"
Charlotte grinned and started jumping.
"This is so cool!" she said. "Can I do it now?"
"The Tooth Fairy only comes at night, sweetie. Let me keep your tooth so you won't lose it." Beca said and Charlotte nodded.
Beca put it in a little box on her bedside table and went back to the kitchen.
Stacie and Aubrey arrived 15 minutes before the food was done. Charlotte kept them company in the living room, telling them all about her tooth ‒ which got them super excited ‒ about her graduation ‒ to which she obviously invited them to ‒ and about the movie.
Sophie walked into the living room holding a plastic plate with four tea sandwiches. She was walking slowly as she head to the adults and presented the plate to them with a smile.
"What is that, Sophie?" Aubrey asked. "Is that for us?"
Sophie nodded with a smile as she held out the plate. Stacie was amazed she hadn't dropped anything.
Aubrey grabbed one of the sandwiches, Stacie grabbed the other and Charlotte grabbed another, leaving one for Sophie, who put the plate on the coffee table and sat between her aunts, beside her sister.
"This is really good, Sophie! Who made this?" Stacie asked.
"Mamma." Sophie said.
"It's really delicious." Stacie said.
Sophie smiled and ate her sandwich as well.
"Aunt Tacie?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah?" Stacie said.
"When you and Aunt Aubee have a baby, what are you gonna name it?" Charlotte asked.
Stacie hummed in thought as Charlotte and Sophie paid close attention to hed.
"I don't know. Depends if it's a boy or a girl." Stacie said truthfully.
"What do you want?" Charlotte asked.
"Well, we don't really care if it's a boy or a girl." Stacie said. "We're gonna love him or her anyway."
Charlotte seemed to think for a while.
"Are you gonna play with him or her, Char?" Aubrey asked.
"Yes!" Charlotte said.
"What about you, Sophie?" Aubrey asked.
Sophie nodded with a smile and clapped her hands.
"Guys! Dinner is ready!" Beca called and the four stood up from the couch.
They were all eating quietly, engaged in small conversation every now and then. Charlotte and Sophie were talking and barely paying attention to the adults. Charlotte even fed her sister a few times and Sophie repeated, clapping her hands afterwards.
"You're never gonna believe it!" Stacie said, startling everyone. "The Bellas have been invited to sing at Barden University by the new Bellas!"
"What?" Beca asked, confused and happy at the same time.
"Yeah! A girl called Emily Junk called me and said the Barden Bellas would love to sing with us." Stacie said. "It's like a performance for the dean's birthday or something like that."
"That's so cool!" Chloe said with a huge grin. "We can dress Charlotte and Sophie as mini Bellas!"
"Oh my God, it'll be so cute!" Aubrey said.
Charlotte and Sophie were clapping with smiles on their faces.
"See, Sophie? Mommy, mamma, aunt Aubee and aunt Tacie are going to sing!" Charlotte said.
"Yaay!" Sophie said and continued clapping.
Beca smiled at her daughters. Sophie threw her arms up and yelled, "Yaaaay!" in that cute way.
"I'm so glad you two like it!" Aubrey said.
"We love it! I'm gonna teach the dance to Sophie." Charlotte said.
Aubrey smiled and chuckled.
"But first, I'm gonna finish my tellini." Charlotte said, making the adults laugh.
"That's right, finish your food first." Stacie said. "Because it's very delicious."
"Yes, it is." Charlotte said with her mouth full.
"Char, no speaking when your mouth is full." Beca said.
Charlotte swallowed and apologized.
"Sar!" Sophie said, holding out her spoon. Charlotte ate it and fed Sophie back.
"You two are something else." Chloe chuckled and shook her head.
"Yeah, what's a little germ exchanging between sisters?" Beca said.
Sophie opened her mouth and started complaining. Charlotte fed her one tortellini and the redhead smiled as she chewed.

Chloe was tucking Charlotte in that night. She kissed her forehead and smiled.
Sophie came in that room with a pacifier in her mouth and her stuffed unicorn/seahorse. She poked her mom on the back and Chloe looked surprised.
"You want me to kiss you again?" Chloe asked.
Sophie shook her head and pulled her arm. Chloe frowned and stood up. Sophie then climbed on the bed and lied down next to her sister.
"Ooh, you wanted to lie down with Char?" Chloe said, sitting back down.
Sophie nodded and snuggled closer to Charlotte.
Chloe smiled and stood up to leave.
"Mamma?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah?" Chloe asked.
"Why do some kids have a mommy and a daddy and I have you and mommy?" Charlotte asked.
Chloe gulped and tried to think of the right way to phrase it.
"Because love comes in all forms." She finally said with a smile. "Sometimes men love women, sometimes women love women and men love men, too. None of them are wrong, you can love whoever you want."
"Women are cooler." Charlotte said. "Right, mamma?"
Chloe chuckled.
"Yeah, women are way more awesome. But you and Sophie can love whoever you like and mommy and I will always love you." Chloe said and smiled at the two.
"Henry says I'm stupid because I have two moms. He is stupid because he doesn't understand, right mamma?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah. He's just jealous because you are way smarter than him and because your moms are super cool." Chloe winked.
Charlotte giggled.
"Yes." She said.
Chloe smiled.
"I love you, I love Sophie and I love your mom more than anything else in the world." Chloe said.
"We love you too, mamma." Charlotte said.
Chloe smiled and kissed both of them again before standing up.
"Goodnight, girls." She said, turning off the lights.
"Goodnight mamma." Charlotte smiled.
Sophie was really sleepy, she was just blinking slowly, but she did raise her hand and wave at her mom, which made Chloe chuckle and wave back.
Charlotte's graduation is going to be next chapter and I have another idea for before that ;)
