I love you guys

With a few weeks left of vacation, the girls decided to go back to Florida, since Chloe's parents were back to town as well as Zoe and Thomas. It would be good for the family to spend some time together before Beca had her tour and the girls had to go back to school.

They decided to stay for a week to really enjoy it. They arrived at night, so they had dinner and went to sleep.

The next day, the two were woken by their daughters, asking to go to the pool, but Beca suggested they go to the beach instead, which the girls loved. The couple took about 30 minutes to get the girls and everything ready before they left the house.

Chloe was laying in the sun while Beca was — of course — hiding under their beach umbrella with the girls, playing on the sand, building sandcastles.

"Chloe, give your skin a break." Beca said.

"Coe beak." Sophie repeated, pointing a small plastic shovel at Chloe.

Chloe giggled.

"You girls are too controlling." Chloe said with a playful roll of eyes.

"Mommy, can we go in the ocean?" Charlotte asked with a grin.

"Oh yeah, let's go!" Beca said, standing up and dusting off the sand in her hands, giggling as her daughters repeated the action.

Beca grabbed Charlotte's head in one hand and Sophie's hand in the other and headed towards the blue ocean.

Sophie was wearing a turquoise bikini that matched her brunette mother's, while Charlotte was wearing a pink bikini. Beca made sure to put on sunscreen on them before they left and she was gonna put more once they were out of the ocean.

Sure, the waves weren't big today, but Beca kept a tight grip at least on Sophie's hand, because she knew Charlotte would stay close.

"Mommy, the water feels great!" Charlotte said.

"Don't go in too deep, Char." Beca reminded her.

Charlotte nodded and got closer to her mother and sister.

"Go go, mommy!" Sophie said, wanting to go in a little deeper, since the water wasn't higher than her feet. Literally.

Beca held Sophie tighter and went in a little further and she smiled when she heard Sophie laugh loudly in excitement as she felt the water hit her ankles.

"It's so good isn't it Sophie?" Charlotte said.

"Yes!" Sophie said while giggling.

Beca went in a little bit further, where the water hit around Sophie's knees, but she was obviously careful and so was Charlotte.

The three were giggling, the girls were laughing and playing in the water and Beca was smiling at the scene.

Until Sophie suddenly started crying.

Loud, mouth wide open, real tears, crying. Both Beca and Charlotte were surprised and the bigger brunette picked her daughter up immediately and grabbed Charlotte's hand before hurrying back to Chloe.

"What happened?!" Chloe asked, standing up.

Beca put Sophie down and walked from side to side, thinking of what to do.

"I think Sophie got stung by a jellyfish!" Beca said, running her hands through her hair.

Sophie was still crying loudly and her leg was a little red. Charlotte got closer to her and hugged her, trying to calm her down.

"What do we do? Do we have water?" Chloe asked, starting to freak out as well.

"No, we don't! Only in the house!" Beca said.

"Okay.. okay, but.. oh my God, I'm gonna go out and get it." Chloe said.

"Wait, wait, you don't have the keys!" Beca said, kneeling down and opening her beach bag, going through it to try to find the keys to the house.

"Come on, Beca!" Chloe said, nervously.

"Mamma, mommy, calm down!" Charlotte said with a frown as she kept held Sophie, whose cries had lowered in volume.

"The keys!" Beca said, handing her wife the keys.

"Mommy! You're scaring Sophie!" Charlotte said and looked down at her little sister's face. "It's gonna be okay, Sophie. Do you want me to kiss it better?"

Sophie had a very big pout and her eyes were still filled with tears but she nodded as she looked at her big sister.

Charlotte knelt down and wiped the sand from Sophie's legs.

"Where is it, Sophie?" She asked.

"Hee." Sophie raised her left leg and pointed a spot near her ankle.

Charlotte placed a kiss on the red spot and stood back up with a smile. Sophie was sniffing and rubbing her eyes, so Charlotte hugged her again.

"Okay, okay but what if it was.. poisonous?" Chloe asked, starting to freak out again.

"Dude! We need to take her to a hospital!" Beca said.

Charlotte rolled her eyes and looked at Sophie and they both held a giggle.

"Sometimes I'm a better mommy to you than mommy and mamma." Charlotte said to Sophie.

Sophie grinned.

"Mommy Sar!" She said and hugged her sister tight and, since she was small, her head hit Charlotte's chest, almost to the shoulders.

Beca and Chloe visibly relaxed and their hearts immediately melted at the scene. Okay so maybe it wasn't necessary to freak out like that.

"You know, Sophie, I wish I had a cool big sister like that." Beca said.

Sophie just looked at her mom, still hugging Charlotte close. Charlotte grinned at what her mother said.

"I love you, Sophie. I loved you even when you were in mamma's tummy." Charlotte said.

"Oh stop it, guys, you're gonna make me cry!" Beca said, eyes already tearing up.

Chloe rolled her eyes and groaned loudly at her wife.

"No more crying, Beca!" Chloe said.

Beca crossed her arms and glared at her wife while their daughters giggled.

"Okay, maybe we should go to the pool." Beca said.

"Yay, pool!" Sophie said, throwing her hands up in the air.

"Okay, let's pack up and go." Beca said. "Char, Sophie, can you help?"

"Okay." Charlotte said, grabbing the plastic beach toys.

Sophie grabbed her moms' flip flops and held them on her arms as she grabbed her sister's flip flops proudly.

Chloe and Beca were getting the beach chairs and their stuff, so when they turned around to put on their flip flops, they didn't find them.

"Where are our flip flops?" Chloe asked Charlotte, who was holding the toys bag — or trying to anyways.

"I don't know, mamma." Charlotte said and they all turned to Sophie, to see the toddler actually wearing Chloe's flip flops with a huge smile, while she held Beca's flip flops, one in each hand.

"Sophie!" Charlotte said, giggling.

Chloe smiled and Beca giggled at Sophie's enthusiasm.

"Sophie, can I have my flip flops?" Chloe asked.

"No fop fops." Sophie crossed her arms and closed her eyes, raising her eyebrows.

"Can I have mine?" Beca tried.

Sophie shook her head. She looked at Charlotte and put the flip flops down in front of her.

"Yay! I get mommy's flip flops!" Charlotte said as she put on the flip flops with a huge smile.

Beca smiled and shook her head.

"Let them wear our flip flops. This once, did you hear me girls?" Chloe warned.

Charlotte nodded before raising her arms and jumping up and down.

"I'm mommy!" she said. "I have boobs!"

Sophie grinned and raised her arms too.

"Boobs!" she said.

"Okay, let's go." Beca said, pushing Sophie ahead lightly.

Sophie struggled to walk with such huge flip flops and she stumbled and almost fell three times but she never said she wanted to take off the flip flops.

When they were in the backyard, Sophie and Charlotte took off their mothers' flip flops and went over to the hose to clean their legs.

Charlotte turned on the hose and Sophie grabbed it. She frowned when she saw no water was coming out so she brought the end of the hose close to her eye and looked inside. Before anyone could say anything, the water jet came out hard straight into Sophie's eye and she threw her head back, falling on her butt with a loud cry.

Charlotte immediately hugged her sister while Beca and Chloe tried to get her to open her eye to see if there was any visible damage.

"Sophie, you can't look inside the hose." Charlotte said. "It's gonna be okay."

Sophie was gonna rub her eye but Chloe gently stopped her and knelt down.

"Sophie, honey open your eye so mamma can see it." Chloe said.

Sophie was crying and she opened her eye quickly and closed it again.

"It's okay, Sophie, you gotta open your eye so mamma can see if it's okay." Charlotte said.

Sophie's cries reduced and she slowly opened her eye. Chloe examined it and it didn't even look red so she wasn't alarmed. She smiled at her daughter and kissed her cheek.

"You're gonna be okay." Chloe said.

"I'm gonna get something to eat." Beca said and went inside.

"We have to put more sunscreen on the girls." Chloe reminded as she wiped Sophie's tears.

"Okay!" Beca said from the inside.

"Mamma, mamma, me first!" Charlotte said once Sophie was on her feet again and stopped crying.

Chloe giggled.

"You're such a gentleman, Charlotte." Chloe said. "Want me to take off your bikini top so it's easier?"

Charlotte thought about it while Chloe grabbed the sunscreen from the beach bag.

"Mmmm, okay!" Charlotte said.

Sophie frowned as she watched her sister untie her bikini top with a wide smile so her mother could put sunscreen on her chest. She looked down at her bikini with her 'mad face' and approached her redheaded mother.

"Me too!" she said, opening her arms.

Chloe giggled and was about to put a small amount of sunscreen on Sophie's chest when the tiny redhead stopped her.

"No!" she said and pulled at her bikini before looking up at Chloe.

"You want me to take off your bikini too?" Chloe asked, knowingly.

Sophie grinned and nodded frantically. Chloe laughed as she continued spreading sunscreen on Charlotte's back.

"It's okay, Sophie, mommy is gonna be back soon to put more sunscreen on you." Chloe said.

"Now!" Sophie shouted and pouted.

"Sophie, it's not nice to scream at mamma or mommy or at your sister." Chloe said with a stern voice. "What do you say?"

"Pease." Sophie said quietly with a pout.

"That's good, but it's still not the word I'm looking for." Chloe said. "What do you say?"

"Sowwy." Sophie said.

"Thank you, Sophie." Chloe said.

Sophie was still standing quietly as Chloe finished putting sunscreen on Charlotte.

Beca came back with some popcorn and more sunscreen. Sophie ran over to Beca with a huge smile and raised her arms.

"Sophie, sweetie, I can't pick you up now." Beca put the bowl of popcorn on the table and Sophie followed her.

"Popon!" Sophie exclaimed.

"Yay! Popcorn!" Beca said. Sophie frowned as she watched Beca say 'popcorn'.

"Popon." She repeated.

"Popcorn." Beca smiled.

"Popon." Sophie said.

Beca giggled.

"Come on, little Red, let's put more sunscreen on you." Beca said as she grabbed the bottle.

"Yay!" Sophie said as she grabbed some popcorn.

Beca put a considerable amount on her hand and was about to put some on Sophie's face but the redhead stopped her. She pulled at her bikini top again and Beca laughed, getting the message. She untied her bikini and set it aside, turning her around to put on her back.

Sophie was dancing the whole time while eating popcorn. Beca didn't really mind, she managed to get the sunscreen on her skin.

"Now the floaties." Beca said and sighed. "Baby where are Sophie's floaties?"

"Here." Chloe said as she finished putting the floaties on Charlotte and the little girl jumped in the pool.

Chloe handed the pink floaties to Beca so the brunette could put them on Sophie.

"There baby." Beca smiled and Sophie grinned. "Want me or mamma to come in?"

"Yes!" Sophie said.

Beca giggled and looked at her wife.

"I'll go in, you can eat your popcorn." Chloe smiled as she entered and held out her arms.

Sophie grinned and jumped in and Chloe caught her with a laugh.

Beca smiled as she continued eating popcorn. Sophie reached out towards her brunette mother and Beca giggled, approaching the edge of the pool with the bowl and gave some to Sophie, who grabbed them and put it all in her little mouth. Beca laughed and then fed some to her wife before pecking her lips.

Since college, Beca had got used to being more emotional and letting her emotions show. Heck, she was always crying! Especially when it involved the girls.

But Beca could honestly admit since college, she had never cried like the way she was crying now. She tried to hold it back, though, she didn't want to cry in front of the girls.

"Bye mommy." Charlotte's voice was small and she was already crying. Beca knelt down and hugged her very tight.

"I love you, Char." she said. "More than anything."

"I love you too mommy." Charlotte said, sniffing.

"It's only two weeks, you'll see, it'll fly by." Beca said, pulling apart, and she wasn't sure if she was trying to calm herself or her daughter.

Charlotte nodded but she sniffed and looked down, shyly playing with her dress.

"I love you, Char." Beca repeated and kissed her daughter's forehead.

Charlotte wiped a tear and hugged Chloe's leg, hiding her face so she could cry.

Beca then turned to Sophie and the tiny redhead threw herself in her mother's arms, crying loudly.

"I love you, my little Red." Beca said, wiping a tear before pulling apart.

"Mommy no go." Sophie pouted, sniffing.

"I wish mommy could stay, honey." Beca said. "But I will be back soon."

"No go, mommy." Sophie repeated.

Chloe quietly wiped her tears as she heard Sophie asking her mother to stay.

"Mommy will call everyday, we will Skype when it's possible and before you know it, I'll be back home." Beca said.

"No go." Sophie repeated.

Beca hugged her again, closing her eyes as she let the tears fall. Charlotte and Chloe joined in the hug and the family remained a few minutes in that position.

Beca then pulled apart and stood up. She looked at her wife and she could see tears in Chloe's bright blue eyes and she knew how hard it was for the redhead.

Chloe pulled Beca in for a hug and she hugged her tight, starting to sob on her chest.

"Chlo, baby, it's just two weeks." Beca said, trying to stop herself from sobbing too.

"I know." Chloe said, her voice heavy with sadness as she pulled away. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." Beca said before pulling her in for a slow kiss.

Chloe looked at her wife and wiped some more tears.

"You should go before you lose your flight." Chloe said.

"Right." Beca said, grabbing her carry on bag from the ground. "I love you girls, you're my girls. I'll see you soon."

"No go, mommy." Sophie said.

Beca kissed Sophie's head before kissing Charlotte's and the little brunette wrapped her arms around her mother's neck and hugged her tight again. Sophie hugged her too and cried, telling her mother not to go.

When Beca pulled back, Sophie wanted to follow her, but Chloe grabbed her hand and the three waved. Sophie cried loudly and that broke Beca's heart.

Beca went in listening to her daughters' cries and trying to stop herself from crying. She knew this would be good for her career but she hated leaving her family, even if it was only for 2 weeks.
