Halloween was approaching fast, it was only two and a half weeks away. Beca, of course, considered two and a half weeks to be enough time to decide on costumes, it was almost a whole month away, for crying out loud!

Chloe wasn't like that.

Beca should've known, really, since the redhead was already asking their daughters what they wanted to be for Halloween so she could arrange the costumes. Beca could tell her wife was the most excited about this.

"Mamma, I wanna be a vampire!" Charlotte said, excited.

"Oh me too!" Chloe said. "I can get capes and fake vampire teeth."

"I want a black skirt." Charlotte said. "For my costume."

"Okay, we can arrange that." Chloe said with a megawatt smile and Beca chuckled.

The family was eating dinner that Wednesday night when Chloe brought it up. She couldn't keep it inside any longer, she was an event planner, had always been, since she was a kid. She would think about her birthday parties and tell her parents what she wanted. Later on, her friends would ask her to plan to plan their parties.

So it was only natural that Chloe wanted to know what the girls wanted to be, planning on the decorations, costumes, trick or treating, which they realized, was the first time they would take Sophie trick or treating. Last year she was too young for candy and sweets, so Beca agreed to stay at home with Sophie while Chloe went trick or treating with Charlotte.

"What do you want to be, Sophie?" Beca asked. When she saw Sophie's confused look — which was identical to Chloe's in every single way —, Beca giggled and repeated the question, "What costume do you want for Halloween, sweetie?"

"Anna!" Sophie quickly answered.

"Oh Anna? From Frozen?" Beca asked.

"Yes!" Sophie clapped.

"Oh that'll be so cute!" Charlotte said.

"Mommy Olaf." Sophie pointed at her mom and clapped her hands.

Beca, however, only laughed.

"Then it's decided! We all have our costumes!" Chloe said and her and Sophie clapped their hands and squealed. They were copies of each other. And the best thing? Sophie's eyes were becoming a lighter shade of blue, matching Chloe's.

"What?! So I'll be Olaf?!" Beca asked incredulous. It wasn't that she had any problem with being Olaf but.. come on, a snowman? A tiny, big butted snowman? With a carrot for a nose?!

"Yeah, it'll be cute. You never know what you want to be and it'll be cute! Char and I will have coordinated costumes and you and Sophie will too!" Chloe said.

"But.. let me at least be like Hans or something!" Beca said.

"No Ans!" Sophie crossed her arms and made her mad face.

"Okay, then how about I be Kristoff instead?" Beca asked.

"Otay." Sophie said.

"Thanks." Beca said.

"Okay, good." Chloe said. "I'm going out tomorrow morning to see if I can find some of the costumes."

"No, mamma, I wanna come too!" Charlotte pouted.

"Okay, we can do that Friday after school." Chloe said.

"Yay!" Charlotte said.

"Me too!" Sophie said.

"Okay, Sophie comes too." Chloe grinned.

Beca giggled and shook her head, thinking how much her wife looked like another kid right now and how much she loved that about her wife. That she never lost her spark and her childish ways even after she had kids. And frankly, Beca hoped she never did.

Friday, when Beca came home from work, she wasn't surprised to find the house empty. She chuckled to herself and went up to her room, grabbed her turntable and her laptop and brought it to the living room. She put everything on the floor and turned on her laptop to work on mixes so she could be prepared for Katy's album.

When Chloe and the girls arrived a couple hours later, they had already arranged three of the costumes and stuff to decorate the house for Halloween.

Charlotte and Sophie came running in the living room speaking at the same time to Beca, talking about the things they got and how awesome their costumes were.

"Okay, okay, girls, one at a time." Beca said.

"Mommy, we got the costumes and— and scary stuff to put around the house!" Charlotte said. "We couldn't find a Kristoff costume for you, mommy."

"That's okay, we'll keep looking." Beca said with a smile.

"Mommy, we brought pizza!" Charlotte threw her hands up in celebration.

"Pita!" Sophie repeated.

"Ooh I'm always in for a pizza!" Beca said. "Which topping did you pick?"

"Peponi!" Sophie said.

"No, Sophie, we didn't pick pepperoni." Charlotte said.

"No?" Sophie had the cutest confused look as she looked at her sister.

"No, we got bacon double cheeseburger." Charlotte said.

"No peponi?" Sophie pouted and Beca would've 'awww'd if she didn't see the real sadness in her daughter's eyes.

"That's okay, Sophie, we can get pepperoni pizza next time." Charlotte said.

"Yeah, Soph, we've had pepperoni pizza so many times before." Beca said, trying to calm Sophie down before she started crying.

Sophie looked at her mother and brought her hand to her eye. Beca immediately opened her arms and Sophie walked into them, crying. Beca hugged her and rubbed her back up and down while Charlotte went to find her other mother.

"It's okay, Sophie. We can't always have what we want." Beca said, but of course it didn't help. Sophie kept repeating that she wanted "peponi pita" because it had to be "peponi pita".

Sophie's cries soon turned into a tantrum when Beca put her on her high chair to eat. Chloe cut up a small slice in tiny pieces and put it in a plate in front of Sophie, but then the toddler went crazy, she started crying, screaming and kicking her legs at the same time.

Beca and Chloe were shocked. Sure, Charlotte had thrown her fair share of tantrums when she was younger — and sometimes she still threw an occasional tantrum — but Sophie barely threw tantrums. She did, but they were never this bad! Charlotte's tantrums weren't bad either, they were never like the tantrum Sophie was throwing now.

"Come on, baby, just try it." Beca said and held the plate for Sophie.

Sophie hit the plate, causing the pizza to fly across the table, then she tried to get off of her high chair, all while screaming and crying. Chloe immediately stood up to try to help her wife calm their daughter.

Beca cleaned up the pizza, putting the pieces that landed on the table — some landed on Chloe's plate, some landed on the pizza and some landed on the floor — while Chloe tried to get Sophie to calm down before she lost her temper.

Charlotte looked scared, she looked like she was on the verge of crying herself while she covered her ears.

"Sophie." Chloe grabbed her forearms and that got Sophie's attention. "It's not okay to throw a tantrum over a pizza so, if you don't stop now, you're going to timeout."

Sophie sniffed a couple times and her little body was shaking from the sobs but she looked at the cut up piece of pizza her brunette mother was offering her, she started screaming and crying again, kicking her legs and trying to free her arms of Chloe's grip.

"Sophie, that's the second warning, if you don't stop, you are going to timeout." Chloe said again, firmly.

Sophie, however, continued crying, and she managed to get her right arm free and hit the plate again, this time, making it fall on the floor. Thankfully, it was her pink plastic plate, so it didn't break. But that did it to Chloe.

"That's it." Chloe said and grabbed under Sophie's armpits, the child's eyes grew twice their size and she stopped breathing for a moment. Chloe got her off of her high chair and walked to the living room.

Charlotte started crying the moment Sophie was off of her high chair. Beca hugged her oldest daughter tight and tried to get her to stop crying.

"Don't let mamma hurt Sophie." she said while she cried onto Beca's shoulder.

"Charlotte." Beca grabbed her face and looked deep into her eyes. "Mamma and I will never ever hurt you or your sister. We love you guys more than you know, okay? We will never hurt you girls."

Charlotte nodded and wiped some tears but still hugged Beca tight, wanting her mother to calm her down.

Sophie screamed even harder and kicked her arms and legs like never before.

Chloe placed her on a chair in the corner and knelt down in front of her, holding her arms and legs.

"Don't kick, it's not nice to kick." Chloe said, trying to get Sophie's attention. "Sophie, Sophie."

Sophie was crying very hard and Chloe would've felt sorry for her if she hadn't done something bad. Her eyes — and entire face to that matter — were puffy and red and her nose was running. Her little body shook so bad from the violence of the sobs and Chloe could tell she was growing tired.

"Sophie, you are on timeout because you threw a tantrum and was naughty to mommy and mamma." Chloe said. "You are going to stay here for 1 and a half minute."

Sophie cried hard again, covering her face with her arms, bringing her hands over her head. Chloe stood up and waited for a moment and Sophie started kicking her legs, screaming and crying so loudly the veins in her little neck were bursting.

"Sophie, stop kicking." Chloe warned and knelt down again.

Sophie stopped but when Chloe walked back to the kitchen, she started screaming and crying again. She tossed, turned and screamed but never left the chair. Her little ponytail was already out of place and her red curls were wild, her hair was glued to her forehead, wet from the sweat.

Beca, Chloe and Charlotte went back to eating. Or tried to, because Sophie's cries were breaking all of their hearts. Charlotte had stopped crying, but she wanted a hug from mamma first. Chloe again explained that Beca and her would never hurt their children.

When the 1 and a half minute was up, Chloe went over to the chair and Sophie was sitting sideways, leaning against the back support which was against a wall. She still cried and her body still shook, but Chloe could tell she was exhausted. When she saw her mother approaching, she raised her arms in her direction, but Chloe knelt down and put her hands on Sophie's little knees.

"Sophie, you were on timeout because you threw a tantrum and you were being naughty to mommy and mamma." Chloe said. "What do you say?"

"S-S-Sow-w-wwy ma-m-mma." Sophie said, shaking.

Chloe's heart broke but she opened her arms and Sophie immediately threw herself on them, burying her face in her neck, still shaking.

"Now let's go wash your face and eat?" Chloe asked as she stood up and she felt Sophie nod against her neck and she carried her the bathroom and washed her face before going back to the kitchen.

Chloe put Sophie back in her high chair and Beca placed a plate of newly cut pizza in front of her.

"S-Sow-owwy m-m-mommy." Sophie said, looking up at her mother.

Beca offered Sophie a smile and kissed the top of her head.

Sophie shyly grabbed a piece, afraid of doing something to upset her mothers again, and brought it to her mouth.

"Sophie, use your spoon baby." Beca reminded her.

Sophie chewed on the pizza and grabbed her spoon. She rubbed her eye and Beca saw she managed a small smile.

"Is it good, Sophie?" Beca asked, knowingly.

Sophie nodded and the three smiled. The tiny redhead ate everything before holding her plate up shyly.

"Mow pease." She said.

"Awww!" Beca said. "See baby? Pizza is always good, no matter what topping."

Beca grabbed her plate and Chloe cut up half a slice, giving Charlotte the crust, since she loved it and Sophie wasn't a very big fan, and Sophie ate everything once again.

"Char do you have homework?" Beca asked.

"No." Charlotte grinned.

"Okay, so you and Sophie need a bath and you're off to bed." Beca said, standing up. "And I need to finish a mix, so babe, I'll clean the kitchen while you give the girls a bath."

"Okay, thanks babe." Chloe gave Beca a peck on the lips with a smile before going upstairs with the girls.

Beca was still sitting on the floor mixing when she saw her youngest daughter come in, wearing a purple onesie and rubbing her eye.

"Hey baby!" Beca said and Sophie immediately smiled and rushed to her side. Beca sat her on her crossed legs and Sophie looked at Beca's turntable, pointing at it making a noise. "Do you wanna learn how to mix, Sophie?"

Sophie nodded. Beca giggled and put on a song.

"Press this button." Beca said and pointed at a blue button and Sophie pressed it, seeing a new beat was added to the song. "Now this one."

Sophie pressed a green button and lit up when a different beat was added this time. She pressed it again and grinned at the sound.

Beca chuckled at her daughter's excitement.

"Now you're gonna turn this up." Beca said, moving Sophie's hand. "Wait, wait."

Beca waited for the base to drop before she said,

"Now, Soph." She said.

Sophie moved her hand slowly and grinned before she started clapping her hands and jumped on her mother's lap.

"There you go, Sophie!" Beca said and Sophie turned on her lap to bury her face in her neck, giggling. "You're a DJ! Like mommy!"

Sophie kept her face buried in her mother's neck and she laughed, wrapping her arms around Beca's neck.

"That was great, Soph." Beca grinned and kissed the top of her head. "Now it's time to go to bed."

"Otay." Sophie said.

Beca picked Sophie up and stood up.

Beca came in her bedroom after tucking the girls in and giving them a goodnight kiss. She hopped on the bed and sighed, watching her wife reading a book quietly for a while. She should talk to her, right? She was nervous, she never thought she should covered this topic, it still seemed to soon, but she knew she had to do it.

"Hey babe?" Beca said.

"Yeah?" Chloe turned to look at her wife.

"Umm this week I talked to Charlotte's school counselor and she advised us to.. since she's 6 now, to.. to talk to her about.. about sex..?" Beca said, turning into a tomato.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, explain things. Places people aren't supposed to touch, how.. where babies come from.." Beca said.

"I see." Chloe said. "And you're nervous because..?"

"Chloe, we're not a hetero couple. We can explain to her what a man and a woman do but then she asks 'but you and mamma are two women' and we explain to her and what if she says that to her classmates?" Beca asked.

"Are you worried about being outed to 6 to 7 year olds?" Chloe raised her eyebrows.

"No, it's not me I'm worried about." Beca said. "It's her."

Chloe's face softened when she saw tears forming in the corner of Beca's eyes.

"What if she says what her moms do and people start teasing her for it?" Beca said.

Chloe put her book down and turned to face her wife, grabbing her face to look into her eyes.

"Beca." she said in a calm voice. "If you're worried about that tell this to the school counselor before we have the talk."

Beca let out a breath she'd probably been holding and wiped the few tears that managed to escape.

"Okay. Okay, I will." Beca said.

"Besides, we'll explain to Charlotte that this is something private that she shouldn't go around talking to her friends about it." Chloe said. "She's a smart girl, she'll understand."

"Yeah. You're right." Beca sighed.

Chloe smiled and went back to her book but didn't get to read a full sentence before her wife interrupted her again.

"Oh my God! How did I forget to tell you?!" Beca said, sitting crossed legged on the bed to look at her wife. "Okay, so this guy called me and they want Charlotte to be in a episode of a TV show and they want Sophie to be in a commercial."

"Really? Oh my God, that's awesome!" Chloe said.

"Yeah!" Beca said. "They saw the video of Charlotte talking about Katy's boobs and they want her to do something similar in the episode."

"That's cool." Chloe giggled. "What about Sophie?"

"Okay, so they didn't tell me exactly what the commercial was for, but they said it's gonna start with a guy pacing back and forth, talking to someone, nervous about a presentation or something and we're gonna think he's talking to his wife, his friend or someone like that and he's talking to Sophie and Sophie's supposed to give him thumbs up and say 'yay'." Beca said. "I think it's super cute."

"Yeah!" Chloe said.

"I told him I'd talk to my wife and we'd call him back." Beca said. "Do you think it would be okay?"

"I think so." Chloe nodded. "I think it would be cool."

"Really?" Beca asked. "I think Charlotte would love being able to talk about someone's boobs on TV."

The two women laughed and Chloe nodded, thinking about it.

"Yeah, I think so too." Chloe said. "We'll call the guy in the morning."

Beca smiled and kissed her wife's lips.

"I'm gonna take a quick shower." Beca announced and left.

Chloe giggled and shook her head before going back to reading.

oO0Oo

Chloe announced she was going to the store and asked Beca to stay with the girls, since it was a Saturday.

Beca was in the living room watching a movie and the girls were in the playroom. Sometimes Beca would hear loud laughter or screams but she knew they were that playing because they'd always laugh afterwards.

Beca was going through the channels on TV, looking for something to watch when her two daughters came running in, all smiles.

"Uh oh, what do you two want?" Beca asked teasingly.

Charlotte sat on the ground in front of Beca and crossed her legs, while Sophie climbed on her mother's lap and made herself comfortable.

Beca couldn't help but think how Sophie had the Beale gene for human contact. She liked hugs, she liked being close to people and she loved sitting on her mothers' laps.

"We wanna know how you and mamma met." Charlotte said. "Did you see her and hearts came down the sky?"

Beca chuckled and wrapped her arms around Sophie.

"No." Beca said. "We met at Barden, before I became a Bella. There was this Activities Fair and your mom and Aunt Aubrey were there, trying to get people to audition for the Bellas and that's when she talked to me and we met. Now to be honest, your mom was the most beautiful, gorgeous, amazing person I had ever seen. And at first, I didn't want to audition for the Bellas, I was sort of stubborn, so mamma had to persuade me."

"Wow!" Charlotte said, taking it all in. "Where was I?"

"You were in mommy's tummy." Beca smiled.

"Really?" Charlotte asked, intrigued.

"Yeah. And later on, I ended up auditioning for the Bellas and I didn't know we has to sing a certain song so I did something with a yellow cup that blew mamma's mind." Beca smirked to herself.

"What? Did you break it?" Charlotte asked.

Beca laughed.

"No, I didn't break it!" she said, still laughing. "Oh, I can show you two, Char can I borrow one of your plastic cups?"

"Are you gonna break them?" Charlotte asked, worried for her cups.

"No, I'm not gonna break them, I promise honey." Beca said.

"Okay." Charlotte said.

"Sophie, can I stand up?" Beca asked.

Sophie shook her head with her mad face. Beca giggled and picked her up bridal style, making car noises and moving Sophie from side to side, making her giggle loudly.

"Char, can you get a cup please?" Beca asked.

Charlotte went over to her and her sister's cupboard and grabbed a pink cup.

"Okay let's go." Beca said and began doing the car noises again, the three running to the living room.

Beca sat on the ground this time and placed Sophie on the floor, telling her she couldn't stay on mommy's lap for this, which made the tiny redhead pout.

So Chloe's daughter.

"Okay." Beca said and started doing the cup, giggling when Charlotte gasped loudly before she started singing.

When Beca finished, she smiled and her daughters applauded.

"Teach me, teach me mommy!" Charlotte said.

"Me too! Me too!" Sophie said.

"Okay, we need more cups." Beca said.

"We'll get them!" Charlotte said and her and Sophie ran to the kitchen.

Beca giggled before the two came back and sat in front of her, legs crossed on the floor.

"Okay, we're gonna clap twice." Beca said and the two clapped twice. "You can either tap the cup three times or the floor three times."

Charlotte tapped the cup three times with her left hand.

"No, no, Char." Beca giggled. "You tap with both hands, like this."

Beca demonstrated and Charlotte paid close attention before she repeated it.

"That's right!" Beca said with a smile and Charlotte grinned.

"What else mommy?" Charlotte asked.

"Okay, then—,"

"— Mommy! Mommy!" Sophie whined and pouted, not quite getting what she was supposed to do. Of course, she wasn't even 2 years old.

"Clap, clap." Beca said and Sophie mirrored her. "Tap, tap, tap."

Sophie repeated.

"Try these together." Beca said.

Sophie did and she smiled widely, obviously proud of herself. Beca grinned and applauded.

"Okay, now the rest."

Beca showed them how to do the rest. Charlotte had trouble with it but she kept trying, while Sophie gave up and started pretending the cup was a telescope.

When Chloe came home, she put the bags in the kitchen and frowned when nobody ran up to her to hug her and kiss her so she went to the living room to see her wife sitting on the ground in front of their daughters, teaching them the cup song.

"Oh my God!" Chloe said with a gasp, bringing her hand to her mouth.

"Mamma! Look!" Charlotte said and did everything she learned, with Beca's help and she grinned.

"Mamma, me too!" Sophie said and put the cup on the floor. She clapped twice but then tapped on the cup four times with her right hand and turned to her redheaded mother with a huge grin.

"You're doing it too!" Chloe said. "Oh my God, babe that's amazing."

"Right? When I played this song for you for the first time—,"

"— I was in there!" Charlotte pointed her mother's stomach.

"Yeah!" Beca said.

"Oh I almost forgot. Beca, someone from Sophie's daycare called and they said on Monday there's gonna be a problem and they can't stay with her. With a lot of children actually." Chloe said with a sigh.

"That's okay, Sophie can stay with me, she can go to work with me." Beca said.

"Mommy, what about me?" Charlotte pouted. "I wanna see your office too."

"First, it's a studio honey and I was going to ask you if you wanted to come with me next Saturday." Beca said.

"I want to!" Charlotte grinned. "Mamma, I'm going to work with mommy!"

"That's great!" Chloe grinned. "Now, we have to figure out what we're gonna do for dinner."

"Stacie called and invited us over for pizza." Beca said.

"Oh great, then it's settled." Chloe smiled. "I'm gonna put the groceries away."

"And I'm gonna get the girls ready." Beca said, smiling back at her wife.

"Pita!" Sophie said excitedly before running upstairs.

Beca giggled and followed her daughters upstairs to help them get ready.

Thoughts? I loved writing this chapter! Unfortunately, I forgot who gave me the idea for the cup son thing I'm so sorry :(
