Aubrey was sitting on the third row in the auditorium, Sophie next to her, Charlotte next to Sophie and Ethan next to Charlotte. The professor was obviously going to be there, he was still teaching at Barden, he wouldn't miss it. Plus, it was an opportunity to see his daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughters.

Sophie looked at her aunt, climbed off of her seat and stood in front of Aubrey, putting both hands on her knees as she looked up at Aubrey while the blonde paid close attention to the stage.

"Bee!" Sophie called.

Aubrey, surprised by the nickname, looked down to see Sophie making her mad face while standing between her legs. The blonde smiled widely — never having been called by her name by Sophie — and she picked Sophie up and hugged her a bit too tightly.

"Oh my God, Sophie you called me Bree!" She said.

"Sophie has her nickname for you too, Aunt Aubee?" Charlotte asked.

"Yes!" Aubrey said.

Sophie started whining and Aubrey let go of her but kissed the top of her head.

"Sorry sweetie, what did you want?" Aubrey asked.

Sophie sat further on her lap and laid her head against her chest, sitting sort of sideways and she hummed.

"Aww!" Aubrey said and hugged her again. "I want a girl."

"You should have one, Aunt Aubee!" Charlotte said.

Ethan was currently holding Joel and Charlotte was playing with the little boy, who was loving the attention.

"Yeah?" Aubrey asked.

"I'm sure Aunt Tacie wouldn't be mad." Charlotte said. "And Joel would love to have a sister! He would have a lot of fun!"

Aubrey chuckled.

"We'll see." Aubrey said.

When the Bellas came on, Aubrey chuckled when she saw Beca and Chloe were in the middle.

"Mommy! Mamma!" Charlotte pointed and went back to her seat.

Ethan handed Joel to his mother and Aubrey placed Joel on one leg while she told Sophie to sit on the other.

"They say 'you're a freak' when we're having fun
They say 'you must be high' when we're spreading love"

Charlotte grinned while Sophie clapped and danced on Aubrey's lap.

Joel seemed surprised and watched the girls on stage. When he saw his mother, he grinned widely and made a noise.

"Go go!" Sophie threw her arms up, making her aunt and grandfather laugh.

Charlotte was too engrossed in the dance she didn't notice what was going on around her.

A part came where Beca did little jumps with a very funny face and Charlotte laughed.

"Mommy looks like a bunny!" She said.

"Bunny mommy!" Sophie said.

"Yeah! Bunny mommy!" Charlotte said.

When the Bellas transitioned the song to Timber, Cynthia Rose and Stacie were in the front while the girls were in the back and Chloe sort of flew behind them, when they sang 'timber'.

Charlotte giggled again, throwing her head back, her neck loosening like kids do when they laugh.

The girls watched and commented about their moms and aunt dancing and they applauded the loudest when it was over. Aubrey and Ethan then took them out of the auditorium and backstage to go see them.

Charlotte threw herself on Chloe's arms, giving her kisses and congratulating her. Sophie was just grinning and applauding.

Ethan talked to his daughter and daughter-in-law and congratulated them on the performance, while Aubrey did the same.

Charlotte then frowned before tugging at Beca and Chloe's sparkly jackets.

"Mommy, mamma, where's Sophie?" She asked.

The two turned pale as they started looking around for the tiny redhead.

"Sophie?" Beca called. There were people walking and working but there wasn't a lot of people but when you're looking for your almost 2-year-old, everything seems even more chaotic.

"Sophie!" Aubrey and Chloe called.

"Sophie, where are you?" Charlotte called as she held onto Chloe's leg tight, her eyes filling with tears.

"Sophie! Sophie!" Beca called, stepping away from them, looking from side to side, her heart beating so fast she knew it wasn't healthy.

"Sophie!" Ethan walked to the opposite direction and searching for his granddaughter.

"Oh my God.." Beca brought her hands to her forehead as she looked around. "Oh my God, no!"

Charlotte hid her face in Chloe's leg and started crying, so her mother picked her up and rubbed her back up and down, shaking way too hard to speak.

"Sophie!" Beca screamed, still not seeing the tiny redhead.

Ethan spotted a redheaded toddler, with her back facing him and he ran over, turning her around.

"Sophie!" He said, but as soon as he turned the child around, he saw it wasn't his granddaughter.

The father of the child picked her up and glared at Ethan.

Beca saw the entire thing and became even more desperate. She could see and hear her oldest daughter sobbing, claiming she wanted her sister, her wife also crying, being comforted by Aubrey.

"Sophie! Oh God, please!" Beca said, realizing then she was also crying. "Oh my God.. oh my God.. Sophie!"

Beca put one hand over her heart and felt as if she was going to faint. She felt an arm grab hers and she looked up to see an older woman looking at her with a worried look and, by the looks of it, she was one of the managers. The woman had short brunette hair and brown eyes.

"Miss are you okay?" She asked.

"No, no, my youngest daughter is missing, she's 1 year and 11 months old, red curly hair, blue eyes and she was wearing a ponytail." Beca said, her voice breaking and she felt as if the world was spinning. "Please, please have you seen her?"

"Oh yeah, she was talking to a man." The woman said.

"What? Oh my God, Sophie!" Beca whined and wiped her tears. "Where was she?"

"Oh, she was with the Treblemakers, they went that way to their dressing room." The woman said.

Beca frowned and started fuming.

"They took my daughter to their dressing room?! What are they doing to my baby?!" She said, a mix between anger and despair.

Beca didn't wait for the answer and ran to the Treble's dressing room, the woman right behind her.

Beca opened the door and saw the boys just hanging around, some sitting on the couch there and others were just talking.

And there was Sophie, standing in front of no one other than Jesse Swanson. And she was smiling.

"Dude, you can't come in here!" One of the boys — maybe one of the new Trebles — said as he saw the two women come in.

"Oh my God! Sophie!" Beca ran to her.

Sophie turned at the voice of her mother and grinned, throwing her arms up.

"Mommy!" She said.

Beca picked her up and hugged her tight before turning around.

"Thank you.."

"Naomi." The woman smiled.

"Thank you so much, Naomi." Beca said.

Naomi smiled.

"Hey, this is the Treble's dressing room, you can't just barge in here —,"

"— Hey you shut the fuck up you little asshole!" Beca said before turning to Jesse.

"Beca —,"

Beca punched him in the eye with all her might, feeling Sophie bury her face in her shoulder and start crying.

"What the Hell!"

"What was that for?" Jesse asked on the floor, his hand covering his eye.

"What the fuck were you thinking?! Taking my daughter to your dressing room?! Are you fucking crazy!" Beca said.

"Hey, she was safe, no one was gonna hurt her! I knew she was your daughter, I saw her with you and Chloe. I just said hi and she started following me." Jesse said.

"Oh so you decided to let her?" Beca asked, rubbing Sophie's back.

"Beca, we haven't seen each other for like 5 years and that's —,"

"— Yes, Jesse! We haven't seen each other for 5 years and you pull a stunt like this?! You don't know you don't just do that?!" Beca was screaming now.

Jesse frowned, still holding his eyes before he stood up.

"You're lucky Naomi saw Sophie with you." Beca said.

"Beca, we weren't gonna kidnap her." Jesse said.

"You already did!" Beca said. "I'm gonna report all of you little fuckers to the campus police."

"Hey lady you can't do that!" Another boy said.

"Yes I can and I will." Beca spat at the boy's face. "You left my wife, my father, my oldest daughter and my friend worried to death, Charlotte is still sobbing out there and Chloe is in shock!"

"Look I'm sorry Beca, we didn't mean to —,"

"— Oh, fuck you, Jesse! This isn't college anymore, where you can just grab my headphones and not tell me. This is my daughter and instead of coming to say hi to me like a normal person, you take my daughter to a room full of boys! How can I be sure you weren't gonna gang rape her?!" Beca yelled.

"Beca, we would never do something like that!" Jesse said.

"Just.. fuck you, Jesse." Beca said before leaving the dressing room. She hugged Sophie tighter and tried to get her own tears and sobs to stop. Confronting the Trebles took a toll on her. She knew she probably went a bit too far but well, she's a mother and she'll go through anything to protect her children.

Ethan spotted her first and alerted the two crying women and the crying child.

"Oh my God!" Chloe managed to run over with Charlotte crying in her arms.

Aubrey and Ethan ran over to Beca too, as well as the campus police, who apparently heard all the screaming and the commotion.

"Oh my God, Sophie!" Chloe hugged Beca and kissed the top of her youngest daughter's head. "Hey baby! Hey, are you okay?"

Sophie looked at her redheaded mother and calmed a bit before crying again.

"Where was she?" Chloe asked.

"The Treble's dressing room." Beca said.

"Oh my God." Chloe said.

"Yeah, she 'followed' Jesse there." Beca said, using a tone that let Chloe know she didn't believe that one bit.

"Excuse me, ma'am, is everything okay?" The campus police officer asked Beca.

"Yeah, my.. The Trebles had my daughter in their dressing room." Beca said. "She disappeared so we started looking for her and a woman called Naomi said she saw her talking to one of the former Trebles, Jesse Swanson, and go in the dressing room with them."

The police officer nodded.

"Would you like to file a complaint?" He asked.

"Yes, we would." Chloe answered for her, supporting as much anger in her voice as Beca.

"Don't worry, ladies, we're gonna go talk to the boys." He said.

"Thank you." Chloe said.

"Can we go? Do you need anything from us?" Beca asked.

"No, not this time, ladies." He said. "But I would like to have your number so I can contact you if we need anything."

"Okay." Beca told him her number and they were all free to go.

Since they had gathered quite some attention, they went outside to the quad, where they found a place to sit down and breathe.

Beca looked at Sophie wiped her tears, feeling bad for scaring her child.

"Sophie, I'm sorry I scared you, okay? I promise, I will never ever hurt you or Charlotte okay?" Beca said.

Sophie nodded and cried a little bit more, walking closer to Beca and burying her face in the crook of her neck again.

"I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry." Beca said. "Mommy's not mad at you."

"No?" Sophie asked, looking up at Beca.

"No, I'm not." Beca said.

"Sophie?" Chloe called.

Sophie turned around so she was looking at Chloe.

"Remember what we talked about? No talking to strangers?" Chloe asked and Sophie nodded. "We just need you to remember that. You talked to a stranger and you're not supposed to, remember?"

Sophie thought a little bit before she started rubbing her eye and she pouted.

"Sowwy." She said.

Chloe hugged her tight and kissed the top of her head.

"It's okay now, baby." She said. "We're glad you're okay, baby. We missed you."

Chloe pulled apart and smiled at Sophie before kissing her forehead. Sophie looked at her sister, whose face was still wet with her tears.

"Sar?" She asked.

"I was really worried, Sophie." Charlotte said with a small voice and Chloe thought she might start crying again.

Sophie shyly walked over to her sister and hugged her.

"We're glad you're okay, Soph." Charlotte said, hugging Sophie tight.

Chloe smiled and looked at her wife before grabbing her hand and squeezing it. She frowned when Beca immediately winced.

"Beca, what happened to your hand?" Chloe asked when she saw her wife's hand was bruised.

"I lost it when I heard Sophie was in a dressing room surrounded by men and that Jesse had taken her, so when I saw him, I punched him." Beca said. "It wasn't hurting until now."

"Hey, let's go home. We can have dinner, ice that hand, watch cartoons, what does everybody say?" Ethan asked. "Aubrey, you and Stacie can come too."

Aubrey smiled, but when she realized her wife wasn't there with her, her eyes widened.

"Oh my God, Stacie!" She said. "I completely forgot about her with the Sophie thing!"

The others just laughed.

"You're a goof, Aunt Aubee." Charlotte said while giggling.

Stacie finally showed up about 15 minutes later, clearly a little annoyed that she couldn't find her friends and wife.

"I've been looking for all of you for half an hour!" She said.

"I'm so sorry baby, Sophie suddenly disappeared and we got so scared we forgot about everything." Aubrey said.

"Oh my God, seriously?!" Stacie asked.

"Yeah, but it's all okay now." Beca said. "Um my dad invited you an Aubrey to come over for dinner."

"And Joel!" Charlotte said.

"Of course, and Joel." Beca said with a smile to her oldest daughter.

"Oh, sure, sure." Stacie said. "I just hope everything's okay now."

"Yeah, everything is okay." Chloe assured her with a smile.

"Good, good." Stacie said.

"So let's get going?" Beca asked.

oO0Oo

Chloe placed a small plate of cookies on the coffee table and sat next to her anxious wife with a chuckle.

Back in LA, a couple days later, Chloe talked to Beca and they agreed they couldn't postpone it any longer. Chloe knew Beca would be awkward and uncomfortable but having the talk is something every parent must do. Plus, they should explain to Charlotte — and Sophie — the places she should never allow someone else to touch.

"Would you calm down?!" Chloe said, amused.

"Oh yeah because talking to my 6-year-old about sex is completely fine." Beca said.

"It is, Beca." Chloe said.

Beca sighed tried to relax while Chloe went upstairs to call Charlotte.

When Chloe came back with their daughter, Beca took another deep breath before her wife sat down next to her.

"So Char, mommy and I wanted to talk to you about something." Chloe said.

"Okay." Charlotte said.

"Remember when you asked us where babies come from?" Chloe asked. "How do they get on mommies' tummies?"

"Yeah." Charlotte said.

"We said they can get there when a doctor puts them there, but there is another way." Chloe said.

"What is the other way?" Charlotte asked.

"Well, you know how girls have vaginas?" Chloe asked.

Charlotte giggled.

"Yeah." she said.

"Well a boy's boy parts is called a penis." Chloe said, looking at her wife with a look that meant she wanted her to say something too.

"And usually babies are made from mommy's egg and from something daddies have that's called sperm." Beca said, her leg shaking up and down and Chloe noticed she was starting to stutter.

"And the daddy's sperm is on his penis." Chloe said.

Charlotte looked confused, but didn't say anything.

"And the mommy's egg is in her uterus." Chloe said.

"So.. the daddy has to get his sperm inside the mommy so… the daddy puts his penis inside the mommy's vagina.." Beca said slowly, looking at her daughter to see if she could read her expression.

"And that is called sex." Chloe said. "But that only happens between adults, it's never supposed to happen between children or between a child and an adult."

"Yeah, so if any adult ever touches you or asks to touch you or touch them, you should scream 'no' and go away from them." Beca said.

"Okay." Charlotte said. "But you and mamma are two women."

Bingo!

Beca knew she would ask that.

"Yeah?" Beca asked.

"How do you do sex?" Charlotte asked with a confused frown.

"It's calling 'having' sex, Char." Chloe said. "And well.. It's different for mommy and I, we.. we sometimes have to use our hands.."

"Eww!" Charlotte said. "Sex is ew!"

"It's okay, baby." Beca said with a chuckle. "It's normal for you to find it disgusting and that's okay."

"Yes, that's okay." Chloe said.

"But there is one more thing we have to tell you." Beca said with a sigh and Chloe grabbed her hand, knowing what she wanted to say. "Remember that mamma and I only married when you were 3?"

"Yes, it was really fun!" Charlotte said.

"Yeah." Beca smiled. "Do you also remember when you asked if mamma felt you kick and I said no?"

"Yeah." Charlotte nodded.

"You see, mamma and I only started dating when you were 2 months old. When I was pregnant with you, mamma didn't know." Beca said.

"Why not?" Charlotte asked.

"Honey, a doctor didn't put you inside my uterus." Beca said. "A man did."

Charlotte looked surprised. She frowned and she just stared at her mom for a while.

"A daddy put me inside you?" Charlotte asked and her little eyes filled with tears.

"Yeah." Beca said slowly and carefully.

Charlotte got up from her seat and immediately sat on Beca's lap, crying.

"I don't want a daddy, mommy! I want mamma!" She cried.

Chloe managed a small smile as she wiped some tears away. Seeing Charlotte so upset broke her heart.

"It's okay, baby, it's okay. You don't have a daddy, you have me and mamma." Beca said, caressing her daughter's hair before kissing the top of her head.

"Do you promise?" Charlotte asked, looking up at Beca.

"I promise." Beca said.

Charlotte then looked at Chloe and threw herself on her arms, crying again.

"I love you mamma. I don't want a daddy, I want you." Charlotte said.

Chloe smiled through her tears and hugged Charlotte tight.

"I've loved you since the moment I met you." Chloe said. "And I will never ever stop."

Charlotte hugged Chloe tighter and her cries subsided.

Beca let out a sigh as she watched Charlotte calm down.

"I love you, mamma." She said.

"I love you too, Char." Chloe smiled.

"I love you too, mommy." Charlotte looked at her mom.

Beca kissed her forehead and hugged her two girls tight.

"We love you and your sister so much, Char." Beca said.

The three stood in that position for quite a long time until all calmed down and stopped crying. They were about to pull apart when the youngest member of the family interrupted.

"Me too, me too!" Sophie ran over to the couch and jumped on Beca's lap, getting in the group hug as well.

Beca, Chloe and Charlotte laughed and Sophie grinned.

"You were the only one missing in the group hug, Sophie!" Charlotte said.

"No sad, Sar." Sophie frowned and wiped her sister's tears.

"It's okay, Sophie. I'm not sad anymore." Charlotte said.

"Otay." Sophie said.

"Why don't you two go upstairs and play?" Beca said. "I need go to the supermarket for a few things."

"Otay! Go go Sar!" Sophie said, her and her sister going upstairs.

Chloe turned to Beca with a smile and she kissed her temple.

"You were very brave for telling her the truth." Chloe said. "The sooner she knows, the better."

"You're right." Beca said. "Thanks for being there for me, Chlo."

"Always and forever." Chloe smiled before placing a small kiss on her wife's lips.

"I'll be back soon." Beca said.

We'll be moving forward now. What did you think abut Jesse's attitude?
