Sophie was the first to wake up on April 14th, but of course that was no news. She hopped off of her bed and skipped happily over to her big sister's room.

Today was Charlotte's 7th birthday and of course Sophie remembered, it was all Charlotte was talking about the previous night.

Sophie got up on Charlotte's bed and poked her on the waist.

"Char." She whispered, poking.

Charlotte stirred a bit and turned on her back to rub her eyes.

"Char!" Sophie said.

Charlotte opened her eyes and looked up at Sophie, who threw her arms up and grinned.

"Appy!"

Charlotte frowned but soon remembered what day it was and got up.

"It's my birthday today! I'm 7!" She said with a huge smile.

"Yaaay! You big!" Sophie said.

"Yeah! I'm a big girl now!" Charlotte said. "Let's go wake up mommy and mamma."

The two hopped off of the bed and ran to their mothers' room, jumping in excitement.

"Mommy! Mamma! Wake up! I'm a big girl, I'm 7!" Charlotte said, climbing on the bed. "It's my birthday today! I'm 7!"

Chloe stretched while Beca smiled and hugged their oldest daughter tight.

"You're getting so big!" She said.

"And I'm getting my new teeth!" Charlotte said and grinned, her two upper front teeth were starting to show.

Beca smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Appy! Appy!" Sophie said, clapping. "Mommy, sing!"

"We're gonna sing happy happy but at breakfast, then again at lunch, maybe in the afternoon.." Beca said.

"Otay." Sophie said. "Appy!"

The three giggled and Chloe then hugged and kissed Charlotte.

"Mamma, am I getting closer to getting boobs?" Charlotte asked, making Beca and Chloe laugh.

"A little, but there's still time ahead for you." Chloe said. "Pretty soon, you're gonna get your first period."

"What's a period?" Charlotte asked with a confused frown.

"Chloe, she just turned 7!" Beca hissed. She didn't want to think her daughter — who literally just turned 7 — would get her period one day.

"We'll explain it to you later." Chloe said to their daughter, ignoring Beca.

"Does it have to do with babies and boobs and vaginas and sex?" Charlotte asked.

"Oh God." Beca hid her head underneath her pillow. Sophie saw her mother and grabbed a pillow and did the same, putting the pillow over her head, giggling.

"Yes." Chloe said.

"You know what, why don't you stay and Sophie and I will get breakfast ready?" Beca asked.

"Beca, you need to be present for this conversation no matter how awkward you are." Chloe said. "We can talk about this later."

"No, mamma! I wanna know now!" Charlotte said with a pout.

"Okay." Beca sighed, sitting up. "Hey Soph, wanna go to your room and play?"

"No." Sophie said with a grin.

"It's okay, she can stay here." Chloe said and looked at Charlotte. "Char, a period is when a woman starts menstruating. When girls become teens, they start ovulating, which is producing the egg that gets with the sperm to become a baby. So this egg goes to the uterus, waiting for the sperm. Now when you first start menstruating, you're not gonna be ready for a baby, so the egg has to go away. It goes away in the form of blood, which comes out through the girl's vagina."

"Oh my God! Does that hurt?" Charlotte asked.

"No, it doesn't. You get cramps but it's not the end of the world." Chloe said.

"Babies and blood will come out of my vagina when I grow up?" Charlotte asked.

"If you want babies, they will, if not then they won't." Chloe said. "But the blood comes anyway."

Charlotte turned to her other mother and buried her face in the crook of her neck.

"Mommy, I wanna sew my vagina." She said, making the two women laugh.

"That's okay, Char, you have a long way to go." Beca said.

"No baby in vazina!" Sophie said with her mad face, both hands between her legs.

"That's right, Soph, you're too young to have a baby." Chloe said. "But remember baby no hands down there unless you're alone."

Sophie was confused but put her hands behind her back anyway.

"Let's go eat cake?" Beca asked.

"Yaaay!" The two smaller ones jumped out of the bed and rushed downstairs, while Beca turned into a tomato and buried her face in her pillow.

"Could you be anymore awkward? Oh my God!" Chloe said, shoving Beca slightly.

"This was very lovely but a little traumatic." Beca said.

Chloe rolled her eyes as they exited the room.

Charlotte's appearance in Our Sweet Life had such a good feedback, she was asked to return for several episodes. The fans of the show loved her, she even got called for a movie. Of course, Beca and Chloe were still thinking about the movie thing, they didn't want their daughters to be one of those child stars. They had nothing against child actors, but they wanted the girls to have a childhood.

So when the producers of Our Sweet Life called and said Charlotte was nominated for an Emmy for her performance, Beca literally dropped the phone. It took her about 1 to 3 minutes to recover and grab the phone again, trying not to squeal.

".. Your daughter is the second youngest Emmy nominee in history!" The producer said to Beca on the phone. "Her performance is amazing, the fans love her as well as the critics."

"Oh my God.." Beca breathed out. "This is amazing!"

"It is! Anyway, Beca, I have to go, I just called to let you know the good news."

"Thanks, Kyle!" Beca hung up and ran upstairs to find her wife putting the laundry away. "Babe! Babe, you're not gonna believe who was on the phone!"

"Who?" Chloe asked.

"Kyle and do you know what he said?" Beca asked. "He said Charlotte, our little girl, was nominated for an Emmy! A fucking Emmy!"

"Oh my God! Beca Grace Beale-Mitchell, this better not be a joke!" Chloe said.

"It's not!" Beca said. "I swear it's not!"

"Oh my God! This is amazing!" Chloe said.

Beca and Chloe hugged and squealed for long minutes. When they pulled apart, they saw a confused looking Sophie with her cute little frown standing in the doorway.

"What you doing?" Sophie asked her mothers.

"Oh baby we.. we were just so happy, your sister might get a prize for the pretend role she plays, you know?" Chloe asked.

"Pwize?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah! People like her so much, she might get a trophy." Chloe explained.

"Yaaaay!" Sophie grinned and clapped.

"Where is Charlotte, baby?" Beca asked.

Sophie pointed the hall and mumbled something. Chloe picked her up while Beca went to the living room.

Charlotte was sitting on the couch, too engrossed in the TV and she had both hands down her panties, since she was wearing a dress.

"Hey Char, I need to talk to you." Beca came in and sat next to her daughter.

Now, it wasn't uncommon for her to see one of her daughters with their hands on their little parts, Sophie for example would put her hand down her pants if she needed to go to the bathroom but didn't say it. That's how they avoided many accidents.

Charlotte would many times touch herself — not sexually — down there in the bath or just look. Beca and Chloe understood, she was curious and it was natural for kids to explore their bodies, but Beca wanted to make it clear that this was okay and this was something she was supposed to do in private.

"Char, it's okay that you explore your body. Everyone does that." Beca said, becoming redder and redder.

"Everyone?" Charlotte frowned. "So you and mamma do it too?"

"Yeah." Beca blushed harder. "But you know genitals are called private parts for a reason. It's very okay that you do that but in private. When you're alone in your room, for example."

Charlotte frowned and sat up, turning to look at her mother.

"So you're not mad?"

"Char, I'm not mad. It's your body, you can explore and touch it as you'd like. But since it's your body, no one else should touch your genitals." Beca said.

"Okay." Charlotte said.

"And you shouldn't touch anyone's privates." Beca said.

"Is that why you would tell me not to touch your boobs?" Charlotte asked.

"Yes." Beca nodded.

"I'm sorry, mommy." Charlotte said.

"That's okay, baby." Beca giggled. "You were just curious. And if you ever have questions about something or about your body, you can ask me or mamma."

"Okay." Charlotte said. "What should I do when I see Sophie touching her girl parts?"

"Well, Sophie is now discovering her body, she might start running around naked or giggle about her body and 'show it off' and you shouldn't scold her. Just tell her what I just told you." Beca said.

"Okay. So I should tell her that it's okay but she shouldn't do it in front of people?" Charlotte asked.

"Yeah." Beca said.

"Okay." Charlotte said.

Beca smiled and stood up to go find her youngest daughter and wife.

Chloe and Sophie were inside the couple's closet. The bigger redhead was trying to find something — Beca thought it was a dress — while Sophie sat between her legs, her little legs out in front of her, playing with the clothes Chloe discarded. She looked even smaller with Chloe's clothes surrounding her.

"Babe, what are you doing?" Beca chuckled.

"You doing?" Sophie frowned and looked up at Chloe, who was now standing on her tip toes.

"I'm trying to find a dress and some tights, I wanna go to the store." Chloe said.

"Yaay!" Sophie grinned and tried putting on the pink top Chloe discarded. She failed to find the hole for the head so she just moved her arms and laughed.

"Chloe if you keep this up, our daughter will be drowned in your clothes." Beca said.

Chloe frowned and looked down to see a giggling bump in her pink top.

"Sophie?" She asked.

"Hi mamma!" The bump spoke and laughed.

Sophie removed the pink top and grinned up at Chloe.

"Sophie what are you doing there? I left you on the bed!" Chloe said.

"I'm mamma Coe!" Sophie said.

"Awwwww! Oh my God you said my name!" Chloe said.

Sophie grinned and looked back down at the clothes around her.

"Beca, help me, I can't move." Chloe giggled.

"Sophie, come here baby." Beca giggled as well.

Sophie tried moving and she got up, first by her butt and when she lifted her torso, her head went straight to Chloe's crotch and the collision was sort of hard.

"Oww!" Sophie said.

Chloe winced and bent over once Sophie finally got out from under her.

"Babe are you okay?" Beca asked, trying hard not to laugh.

"I wouldn't be if I were a man." Chloe said. "Ow!"

"I guess Sophie was just trying to go back to where she came from." Beca smirked.

Chloe laughed at that.

"Mamma otay?" Sophie asked.

"Your head hit her on the crotch." Beca said.

"Oh sowwy, sowwy!" Sophie said, going towards her mother. "I kissy?"

"No, why don't you kiss mamma's cheek?" Beca asked.

Chloe giggled and bent down so Sophie could kiss her cheek.

"Otay?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah." Chloe smiled.

Sophie smiled back.

"So are you going to the store?" Beca asked.

"Yeah. You know what, I'm just gonna wear what I have on now." Chloe said. "Sophie do you wanna go with me?"

"Yay! I go go!" Sophie said, making both women laugh.

"Let's go then." Chloe said.

"I'm gonna help Char, she needs to read a book for school." Beca said.

"Okay. Let's go then, Soph?" Chloe asked.

"Go go!" Sophie threw her arms up and jumped up and down.

Chloe smiled and looked up at her wife.

"Have fun, my little Red and big Red." Beca said.

"Fank you!" Sophie said.

Chloe giggled and kissed Beca before going downstairs.

Sophie sang, told stories and spoke about the objects she saw out the window. She sure was a talker and she wanted Chloe to join her so the older redhead had a blast.

When Chloe parked in front of Target, she unbuckled Sophie and grabbed her hand as she led her to the entrance. Chloe then grabbed a cart and Sophie started jumping and gasping in joy. She rarely went to the store with her mothers so she barely got to sit in the cart seat.

Sophie raised her arms and grinned, jumping in place as she waited for Chloe to pick her up.

When Chloe looked at her daughter, her heart almost melted at the sight. Sophie was just so happy, she was jumping in place, the eager smile on her face was just too precious.

"Awww! Come here, baby!" Chloe picked her up and put her in the cart seat.

Sophie looked around and brought her hands to her face, giggling loudly.

Chloe smiled at her and went inside the store. She couldn't wipe the smile off her face as Sophie giggled, way too excited about being in the cart seat.

"You're in the cart seat, Sophie!" Chloe said.

Sophie laughed loudly.

"We need bananas, apples, lemons.." Chloe looked at the list she'd written before leaving. "Eggs, bread, cereal, milk and cleaning supplies."

"Milk." Sophie repeated as Chloe walked down the aisles.

"That's right, we're gonna start off with the food and beverages." Chloe smiled. "Anything else?"

Sophie made a thinking face while Chloe picked out lemons.

"Mamma, waspbabies!" Sophie said.

It took Chloe a long time to figure out Sophie meant 'raspberries' and she had to bite her cheeks very hard to contain her laughter.

"Okay, we'll get raspberries." Chloe said.

"Yaaay!" Sophie grinned.

Everytime Chloe added something to the cart, Sophie would celebrate, kicking her little legs lightly and saying 'yaay'. She got the attention of some people in the store, most were amazed and thought it was cute that Sophie looked so much like Chloe.

Chloe then went to the car and started putting the groceries in the trunk before she picked Sophie up and carried her on her hip, not missing the redhead's pout.

"You're gonna tell mommy we got raspberries?" Chloe asked as she buckled Sophie in.

"Yes." Sophie said.

Chloe smiled.

"We can make oatmeal with honey, raspberries, blueberries and milk." Chloe suggested.

"No. Waspbabies." Sophie said.

Chloe closed the door and got in the driver seat.

"You want just the raspberries?" Chloe asked, starting the car.

"Yes." Sophie said.

"That's okay." Chloe said. "I have to remember your mother you and Char have an appointment with your dentist."

"Mamma, sing!" Sophie said.

Chloe laughed and started singing while Sophie danced in the background.

Chloe and Beca had talked about maybe enrolling the kids in a dance school or studio. They knew Sophie would love it, they weren't that sure about Charlotte, but it was worth a try. So since they came back, they'd been looking at dance schools and studios so the girls could start in the fall.

oO0Oo

Beca was driving to the girls' dentist. Charlotte had gone many times before so she knew what it was all about, but it was Sophie's first time since she was a baby, she didn't remember so she didn't know what a dentist would do.

Beca carried Sophie on her hip and grabbed Charlotte's hand as she walked in. Sophie was looking around, confused and interested in the new environment she was in. She perked up when she saw colorful blocks and plastic toys.

Beca sat down and smiled when Sophie played. Charlotte was sitting next to her and she wasn't interested in playing. She just snuggled up against her mother and they waited.

"Sophie Beale-Mitchell?" the female dentist called with a smile.

Sophie wasn't very happy about leaving the toys area, but Beca went in and asked Charlotte to go in as well so she could help calm her sister.

"Now, Sophie, this is where you sit." the dentist, Dr. Lauren, said with a smile. "Beca, I'm gonna actually ask you to sit first down so Sophie sit on your lap so I can reach her mouth."

"Okay." Beca said and sat on the chair before placing Sophie on her lap.

Sophie was afraid at first, so Charlotte stepped closer and kept talking to her, telling her it would be okay and that she had nothing to fear. After a good 15 minutes, Sophie was actually laughing, she was trying to play with the tools because she thought they were funny.

"Congratulations, Sophie, your teeth are very clean. Keep up the good work." the doctor blinked and Sophie grinned.

"Fank you!" she said.

"Now it's your turn Charlotte." the doctor threw away her used gloves, washed her hands and grabbed some new ones.

"Mommy, can you and Sophie stay?" Charlotte asked.

"Of course!" Beca said.

"You guys can sit on that chair in the corner." the doctor said.

Beca sat down and was going to place Sophie on her lap but the redhead didn't want to, so she let her be. The doctor then started talking to Beca about Charlotte's oral care since she was getting her permanent teeth and she should take even better care of those.

Sophie wasn't making any noise or complaining, so Beca just focused on what the doctor was telling Charlotte.

"Mommy!" Sophie called.

Beca looked at Sophie and was standing next to a tray that was next to Dr. Lauren. She grabbed a tiny white plastic cup that was half filled with a transparent liquid and she had a huge grin on her face.

"Sophie, no!" Dr. Lauren said.

Beca lunged forward but Sophie downed the cup in one go. Her eyes widened and she turned beet red before she started crying.

"Sophie!" Beca said and grabbed her child, hugging her tight. "Dr. Lauren, what did she just drink?"

"That was rubbing alcohol." Dr. Lauren said.

"Oh my God!" Beca said and she felt tears in the corner of her eyes. "I have to take her to the ER!"

"Beca, don't worry." Dr. Lauren said. "That was alcohol but she's not gonna die. She might feel nauseous, sick and have a stomachache for the next few hours or couple of days but she will be okay."

Beca still held Sophie close since she hadn't stopped crying.

"Are you sure? Should I bring her to the hospital?" Beca asked.

"If you wish." Dr. Lauren said.

Beca sat back in the chair and rocked Sophie back and forth while the toddler slowly stopped crying.

When Dr. Lauren was done with Charlotte, Beca drove straight home to talk to Chloe. She wanted to take Sophie to the ER, but she wanted to let Chloe know what happened and ask her if she could stay with Charlotte meanwhile.

"Babe?" Beca called when she came in.

"Yeah?" Chloe said from upstairs.

"Come here, please!" Beca said, going into the kitchen with the girls.

"Mommy, is Sophie gonna be okay?" Charlotte asked.

"She will, baby. Right Sophie?" Beca asked as she placed Sophie on the counter.

Sophie nodded. She had calmed down and wasn't crying anymore though she complained about being nauseous or her tummy hurting when they were coming home.

"Hey girls! How was the dentist?" Chloe asked with a smile.

"Mamma, Sophie drank alcohol!" Charlotte said.

"What? She drank what?!" Chloe asked, rushing to Sophie's side.

"Dr. Lauren was talking about Charlotte's oral care and I was focused on that, then Sophie called me and she was standing next to Dr. Lauren's tray and she grabbed a tiny plastic up and drank it all! She turned red and started crying so I asked what it was and Dr. Lauren said she drank rubbing alcohol!" Beca spoke, her hands were still shaking from remembering the incident.

"Oh my God! Sophie baby are you okay?" Chloe asked their daughter.

"Tummy." Sophie said with both hands on her stomach and a pout.

"I wanna take her to the ER." Beca said. "Dr. Lauren said she might have stomachaches and nausea for the next few hours or couple of days but other than that she'll be fine, but I still wanna check."

"Yeah." Chloe said. "Go, you should go. Char, can you stay with me?"

"Okay." Charlotte said.

"Okay." Chloe said.

"I'm gonna go then." Beca said. "I have everything I need with me, if we find out anything, I'll call you."

"Thanks baby." Chloe kissed Beca before looking at Sophie. She cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead. "You'll be okay baby."

"Otay." Sophie said.

"Oh my God.. oh my God!" Beca hyperventilated for a while. "The ER people are gonna judge me so bad! My 2-year-old downed pure alcohol!"

"Beca, calm down." Chloe said, though she was freaked out herself. "It wasn't your fault, you didn't shove it down her throat. She's gonna be okay."

"Okay. Okay." Beca took a few deep breaths before picking Sophie up again. "We're going!"

Chloe closed the door and sighed, turning to look at Charlotte.

"It's gonna be okay, Char." Chloe assured. "Let's grab something to eat."

Charlotte nodded.

"I want a sandwich please, mamma." Charlotte said.

Chloe kissed the top of her head.

"You're such a polite girl." she smiled.

oO0Oo

Beca was freaking herself out in the waiting room in the ER. Sophie was quiet, sometimes she'd complain about her tummy hurting but it was nothing out of ordinary. Beca wanted to do something with herself, her legs were bouncing and her arms were always going to her face or her hair.

Sophie was rather normal at home, but on the way, she got worse, she looked dizzy and off, her words, though not very clear because she was 2, became slurred.

"Mommy otay?" Sophie asked, her head felt heavy and she was resting it against her mother's chest.

"I am, I'm worried about you, baby, are you okay?" Beca asked.

"Tummy." Sophie pouted.

"It's okay, baby, we're going to see a doctor and he's gonna give you something for your tummy, okay?" Beca asked, trying to be as calm as possible.

"Otay." Sophie said.

"Sophie Beale-Mitchell?"

Beca went in and sighed, trying to calm down so she could explain the situation.

"What happened with this little lady?" he asked with a polite smile.

"We were at the dentist, Sophie grabbed a tiny little cup and just drank it all. She was really red, doctor and she was crying. The dentist said it was rubbing alcohol." Beca said. "Now she says her tummy hurts."

"Okay." the doctor said. "Put her on this table, I wanna examine her."

Beca sat Sophie down at the table and the doctor checked her vital signs before actually checking her throat and asking her a few questions.

"Your daughter is fine, she's gonna feel nauseous and she's gonna have some tummy troubles. She might even puke tonight, so I'm gonna prescribe something to help with the nausea but it's good that she throws up, it's gonna put the bad stuff out." the doctor said, scribbling something down.

"Okay. Okay." Beca breathed, calming down before looking at Sophie. "Sophie?"

Sophie was pale, super pale and she didn't look well. Her lips became white and her bottom lip was trembling slightly.

"Sophie?!" Beca asked and Sophie lunged forward and threw up on the floor.

Beca held her forehead and the little hair she had back and waited as Sophie finished throwing up.

"I'm so sorry, doctor." Beca said.

"That's okay." the doctor said.

Sophie's vomit smelled like pure alcohol and it was green, which was weird and it made Beca even more worried.

"Baby are you okay?" Beca asked.

Sophie turned to her mother and started crying.

"It's okay, baby we're gonna get you home." Beca said.

"Here." the doctor handed her the prescription. "It's okay, she's gonna be fine. Give her some soup and liquid for today and keep a bucket close."

"Okay, thank you so much, doctor." Beca said. "And I'm sorry again about the puke."

"It's alright." the doctor said again. "If she's still throwing up after days, bring her back."

"Okay." Beca said. "Okay, I will, thanks a lot."

"You're welcome." the doctor smiled and Beca left, carrying Sophie on her hip.

Beca hurried home — in case Sophie had to puke again — repeating in her head that Sophie would be fine, because she was! She had nothing to worry about. She was still blaming herself, she knew Chloe said it wasn't her fault, but she couldn't help but feel that it was. She wasn't watching Sophie and she should've been.

The most important thing at the moment was that Sophie was fine and she was gonna be okay.
