First of al, thanks for all the feedback, I'm glad so many people still like this story and don't want it finished just yet. I'm gonna start jumping ahead because I, too, am anxious and excited for the girls to be pre teens, those are the years where the real fun starts. But you're gonna have to wait until chapter 58 (technically 59 because of the note) before any of that happens, so just hang in there a little longer please, I promise it won't be that long.
The girls' vacation was approaching fast and Beca and Chloe were thankful for that, they couldn't want for it to be summer so they could relax. They seriously needed it.
Ethan had called Beca and said he found a box of her stuff from High School while he was cleaning the basement and he was gonna send the box out to her, which surprised the brunette, the only memory she had from High School was well.. Getting pregnant.
The box got in on a Friday afternoon and Chloe brought it to the two women's room to show her wife. Beca grinned when she saw the box and immediately opened it.
"Oh my God! This is my prom dress, there are a bunch of pictures!" Beca said.
"Awww, baby Beca!" Chloe said, looking at a picture of her wife when she was around 2 years old. "Damn, Charlotte is a copy of you!"
"Yeah." Beca smiled.
Beca grabbed a DVD case and frowned. She had no idea what was inside that DVD whatsoever.
"You'd think my dad would've labeled this stuff before sending." Beca said.
"We're gonna have to watch it." Chloe said with a grin.
Beca chuckled.
"Hey baby, who's this?" Chloe asked and showed Beca a picture of her standing next to a very tall brunet blue eyed boy.
"Oh..." Beca hadn't seen a picture or thought about him in a long time. "Oh my God.. that's Caiden!"
"Who's Caiden?" Chloe frowned.
"He was.. My best friend in high school." Beca said. "He um.. He's Charlotte's father."
Chloe's eyes widened and she looked back at the picture. She couldn't deny this Caiden was good looking but she hated him for running out on Beca and Charlotte. Now that she thought about it, it worked out for the best because now Charlotte had her.
The picture was suddenly taken off of Chloe's hands and the two women looked up to see an angry looking Charlotte standing in front of them. She didn't even look at the picture before she ripped it in half, then in half again.
"I told you! I don't want a dad! I have mamma, I don't want a daddy!" Charlotte screamed, throwing the ripped picture on the floor. "I don't want a daddy! Never!"
Chloe and Beca were shocked. Frozen. Charlotte had thrown fits and temper tantrums in the past but she never did something like this: take something out of her mothers' hands and rip it. They didn't know whether to scold her, put her on timeout or to hug her and tell her it'd be okay.
"Charlotte—,"
" — I said NO!" Charlotte cut Beca off and ran out of the room, crying.
Beca looked at Chloe and she was as shocked as she was.
"I have to go talk to her." Beca said, getting ready to stand up.
"No, let me." Chloe said. "Her fear involves me."
"We should both go." Beca decided and they stood up.
The two women went into their oldest daughter's room, where Charlotte was sitting on her bed, curled up in a ball, of course, crying her eyes out. Sophie sat behind her, saying "Otay, Char, otay" and rubbing her big sister's back.
When Sophie saw her mothers entering, she turned to them with her mad face and she crossed her arms.
"Hey Sophie, can we talk to Charlotte in private please?" Beca asked.
"No." Sophie said. "Char is sad, you go."
"We know Char is sad, baby, that's why we want to talk." Beca said.
"No." Sophie didn't lose her mad face.
"We think it's wonderful that you're trying to protect your sister, Sophie." Chloe said. "And we're so proud of you for it but now we need to talk to her."
Sophie didn't move.
"Sophie, please?" Beca asked.
"Sophie, it's okay." Charlotte said.
"Otay." Sophie hopped off the bed and skipped out of the room.
"Char." Beca sat closer to her daughter and spoke with a gentle voice. "Mommy was looking at a box grandpa Ethan sent us, I didn't know the picture was there. It doesn't mean your father is gonna come."
"No, Char, the point is; you don't have a father." Chloe said, making both brunettes look at her with them same confused look on their faces. "That guy may have gotten your mother pregnant but he's not gonna be your daddy, he never was."
"He wasn't?" Charlotte asked.
"No." Chloe said. "And I'm never going to leave! Honey, when I went to the hospital with mommy to meet you, I fell completely in love with you! I've loved your mom for a very long time and when I met you, I knew I had to be in your life too."
Beca was smiling while Charlotte listened to Chloe intently.
"I took care of you when you were sick, I woke up in the middle of the night when your were hungry, I saw your first steps.. I love you. I am your mother and I'll never stop! And I promise you, that man is never going to be your daddy." Chloe said.
"You promise?" Charlotte asked.
"I promise." Chloe said. "He never was and he never will be."
Charlotte smiled and hugged Chloe tight. Beca was obviously emotional at the scene. She hated seeing her daughter upset, she wanted her to be okay.
"I love you, mamma." Charlotte whispered.
"I love you too." Chloe smiled, feeling tears tickling her cheeks.
Charlotte then hugged Beca tight.
"I'm sorry I ripped your picture, mommy." She said. "And I'm sorry I yelled, I love you, mommy."
"It's okay, baby." Beca said. "I love you too."
Charlotte didn't pull apart, she hummed in her mother's arms and Beca and Chloe kissed the top of her head.
"Now Char, mamma and I wanna see the pictures in the box grandpa Ethan sent, okay?" Beca said.
Charlotte nodded.
"We can show you some of mommy's pictures from when she was little." Chloe said with a slight smirk.
"I wanna see it." Charlotte said, wiping her tears.
"Great, then come on wash your face." Chloe said.
Charlotte smiled and got off of her bed, followed by her mothers.
"Can Sophie see the pictures too?" Charlotte asked.
"Of course!" Chloe asked.
"Yay! Sophie!" Charlotte called.
The tiny redhead appeared in the hallway and she looked up at her sister.
"Char otay?" She asked.
"Yeah." Charlotte said. "Do you wanna see some pictures from when mommy was young?"
"Hey! Does that mean I'm old?" Beca asked.
"No. It means you're older." Charlotte said.
"Nice save." Beca said.
"It's not a save, it's the truth." Charlotte said.
Beca chuckled and kissed Charlotte's head.

The family was watching a movie since it was a rainy Saturday afternoon and they didn't have anything to do.
Chloe came into the living room with a bowl of popcorn and the other three immediately attacked the bowl, which made Chloe laugh.
"That's a hell of a funny movie." Beca said.
"Beca, no cursing in front of the girls!" Chloe warned.
"Oh, sorry!" Beca said.
The family was quiet for a while until Beca suddenly groaned and covered her mouth with both hands.
"I bit my tongue!" Beca said. "This hurts so bad!"
"Do you want an ice cube?" Chloe asked, getting ready to stand up.
"No thanks that's fine." Beca said. "Ow! Fuck!"
"Fuck!" Sophie repeated with a mischievous grin.
Chloe, Charlotte and Beca turned their heads to Sophie and the toddler laughed loudly.
"Fuck!" She said again.
"Sophie, that's not a nice word." Chloe said. "Stop repeating that."
"Fuck!" Sophie said again and laughed when Chloe groaned and became paler.
"This is all your fault, mommy." Charlotte said.
"What? Mine? Dude I was in pain!" Beca said. "Cursing helps relieve the pain!"
"Fuck." Sophie said.
"Sophie!" Chloe said.
"Fuck!" Sophie grinned.
"Sophie, if you don't stop, you're going to timeout." Chloe warned sternly. "This is not a word kids should say."
Sophie finally stopped saying the F word and she lost the grin on her face.
"Sowwy." She said.
"Thanks." Chloe said. "Beca, you're going to timeout."
Charlotte and Sophie doubled over with laughter.
"What?!" Beca asked.
"So you can learn not to curse in front of your daughters." Chloe said.
Beca didn't move, she just stared at her wife in shock and something like awe, she hadn't been sent to timeout for about 20 years.
"Beca, I'm serious! Go!" Chloe said. "And that's 26 minutes for you!"
Beca went to the kitchen and sat on a chair, while Chloe set her alarm for 26 minutes.
"Mommy got in trouble." Charlotte said laughing.
"Mommy got tuble." Sophie repeated.
"Yeah but it's not nice to laugh." Chloe said.
The girls covered their mouths to stop their laughter but Chloe chuckled along with them.

On a Tuesday afternoon, Aubrey called Chloe and asked if she could stay with Joel for the afternoon and her and Stacie would pick him up before dinner. Chloe said it was okay and even invited Aubrey and Stacie for dinner.
When Aubrey dropped Joel off, the baby was confused and he even cried a little bit at seeing his mother go, but when Sophie showed up, he lit up immediately.
"Hi Zoel!" Sophie grinned.
Joel laughed loudly and kicked his arms and legs.
"He doing hee?" Sophie asked his mother.
"He's gonna stay with us this afternoon." Chloe said.
"Yaaay!" Sophie said. "We pay?"
"Sure, Aunt Aubrey brought his toys over." Chloe said.
"We go my woom." Sophie said.
Chloe chuckled and followed Sophie upstairs.
The tiny redhead ran around her room and grabbed many toys at once, as if she was trying to show Joel all her toys.
Chloe sat Joel on the floor and put his diaper bag on Sophie's bed. She went through the bag and found some of his cars and took two of them out.
"Look Joel!" Chloe said and showed the baby his cars.
Joel gasped and laughed loudly while Sophie just grinned.
"Wanna pay, Zoel?" Sophie asked.
"I think he does." Chloe said.
Joel grabbed his car and just stared at it before moving his arm back and forth with a giggle.
"Me too! Me too!" Sophie grabbed the other car and made car noises as she moved the car back and forth.
Joel was interested and started saying vowels and he placed his own car on the floor. Sophie played with Joel and he was surprised by it. He looked up at Chloe and the bigger redhead giggled and smiled at him.
When Charlotte and Beca came home, Charlotte was the first to see Joel and she grinned at the baby.
"Joel!" she said and ran over to him.
Joel kicked his arms and raised his arms in Charlotte's direction. The brunette knelt down and hugged Joel.
"Oh my God he's so cute! He wants me to pick him up! Mamma, can I pick him up?" Charlotte asked.
"I think he might be a little heavy for you." Chloe said.
Charlotte wrapped her arms around Joel and lifted him off the ground only by a few inches, which surprised Chloe.
"Char, Char, put him down, baby. If you wanna pick him up you're gonna have to sit down." Chloe said.
"Okay." Charlotte said.
Beca then showed up and she was a little out of breath. She smiled though when she saw the brunet baby sitting with her wife and daughters.
"Hey.. are you pooping babies now?" Beca joked.
Chloe rolled her eyes while Charlotte giggled and Sophie paid with Joel.
"Mommy, can Joel eat waffles? Or muffins?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah, I think so." Beca said.
"Great! Can we make them?" Charlotte asked.
"How long is Joel staying over?" Beca asked Chloe.
"Aubrey and Stacie are coming over for dinner." Chloe said.
"That's great we can make muffins!" Beca said. "Who wants to help?"
"Me!" Charlotte said. "Joel is gonna love my muffins, they're delicious and yummy and filled of love!"
Beca giggled and smiled lovingly at her daughter.
"Then let's go make some muffins!" Beca said. "Sophie, do you wanna stay with mamma and Joel?"
Sophie didn't pay attention, she was obviously too busy playing with Joel with her oven.
"Yeah I think she's staying." Chloe said. "I'm gonna stay with the little ones."
"And I'm taking the big one." Beca smiled.
"Yay! I'm the big one!" Charlotte said. "Mommy, you and mamma should have 5 more kids so we could be a big family!"
"What? 5 more kids?!" Beca asked.
"Yeah!" Charlotte said.
"Do you think we're gumball machines?" Beca asked.
"Okay so one. Or two. All girls." Charlotte said. "We can call her Fiona!"
"Nah. Fiona reminds me of Shrek, I would never name a kid of mine Fiona." Beca chuckled and Chloe rolled her eyes. Some things never changed.
"Okay. So can we name her.. Brittany?"
"Hmmm, not bad but I don't know." Beca said.
"Anna?"
"Too simple."
"Hmmm how about Claire?"
"It's beautiful but then she'd have the same initial as you and mamma." Beca said.
"Oh that's right!" Charlotte said and put her hand on her chin, thinking. "What about Alexis?"
"Oh I like Alexis!" Beca said.
"Great! So we're gonna have a sister named Alexis so we can be a big family." Charlotte said.
"Great, I'll call the doctor on Monday." Beca said and high fived Charlotte.
Chloe watched, biting her lips not to laugh.
"Excuse me, babe, did you just talk to our daughter about having a baby without consulting me?" Chloe asked.
"Oh! Sorry. Babe, we're having a baby named Alexis." Beca said.
"Beca!" Chloe laughed. "What if it's a boy?"
"No, mamma! No boys in this house except for Joel." Charlotte said.
"No boys, Char?" Chloe asked.
"No." Charlotte said.
"What about a future boyfriend?" Beca asked.
"I don't want a boyfriend, mommy! Boys are eww!" Charlotte said. "They pick their nose!"
Beca and Chloe laughed at Charlotte's disgusted face.
"What about Valentine's Day? If you had to ask someone to be your Valentine?" Beca asked.
"I'd ask Maya and Alice." Charlotte said.
Beca nodded and looked at Chloe with a look that said 'not bad', which made the redhead laugh.
"Let's go make our muffins, Char." Beca laughed and the two brunettes went downstairs.
