D-structs leads a group to look for parts for Skrap-It, he will do anything to repair the only one he cares about. Can he do it and will he learn that helping others as Ty did wasn't such a bad thing after all?

Chapter 1

Skrap-It was happy, and for once it had nothing to do with some new scrap. The Scraptool was resting on D-Structs head, listening to him snore. A few days after leaving the crater for good. Skrap-it confessed his feelings to him. He blurted it out one day when they stopped to take in water.

He kept replaying the events in his head. The last battle between D-Structs and Ty. When he thought he lost him for good. Screaming as he watched D-Structs fall. Thinking he ended up in the lava. If it wasn't for Ty, it could have happened.

He couldn't take the chance of something like that happening again, and never getting the chance to say to the powerful T-Trux that he loved him.

He was happy beyond words that the feeling was mutual! D-Structs admitted to him that he came to love him too. Since he was the only one that ever cared about him. It was not easy for the T-Trux to say his feelings. He'd been so used to hiding them.

Showing any emotion or caring for anyone was a sign of weakness. His older brother was quick to remind him constantly. He had been forced to change. To grow cold and uncaring, just to prove he was stronger than his brother.

D-Stroy made him into what he was and he was sick of being this way. He was grateful to be separated from his brother again, instead, he found someone who cared about him. A little tool that never judged him, who practically worshipped him. Who tried every day to gain his approval or just make him happy. He planned to find a new home with Skrap-It, a new place, and maybe a chance to start over.

Skrap-It started shivered, the wind outside picked up. They were lucky to find this place even if the conditions weren't ideal. Ice and snow had been their closest company for days now. When they left the crater, they had no idea what they would encounter in their travels. This wasteland of snow wasn't what they wanted.

They couldn't turn back, but moving forward was appearing more difficult each day. It was freezing. They were lucky to find any sort of shelter. Good thing D-Structs is a T-Trux. Ore was easy to find even though getting it from the ground could be tricky. Some places were rock solid and even the power of his tail couldn't break it. They had to keep moving, finding ground that wasn't hard as a rock. They got lucky thanks to D- Struct's sense of smell.

Thinking of D-Structs again, he was getting worried about him. Ice and snow would gather around his treads daily. They had to keep stopping for him to break them off. Skrap-It wished they could find someplace warmer soon. He was shaking more as he watched the blizzard.

"Stop that," The deep voice said below him.

Skrap-It jumped hearing his voice. "Ah, D-Structs. I thought you were asleep?"

The T-Trux growled, annoyed. "I couldn't sleep much with you shivering!"

Skrap-It felt bad he bothered him. "I'm sorry, it's just-"

D-structs sighed."Come here...". He extended his hand out. Skrap-It climbed down from his head and hurried to his hand. Once settled, the big T-Trux closed his fingers around him. It made the little Scraptool's spark jump.

D-Structs yawned and soon changed position now. He laid his head gently on the ground with his treads up. It wasn't the most comfortable position to be in but he needed to give his treads a break. They had been traveling for hours and they ached still. He still kept a hold of Skrap-It but held him close against him.

"Thank you" The little tool spoke. He smiled so happily.

D-Structs rolled his eyes. "I'm just doing this so you stop keeping me awake". Deep down he wanted to make sure he was alright. Soon they drifted off to sleep.

...

The next day

When the mighty T-Ttrux opened his eyes, the sunlight outside shined. The snow look like it was glowing. He yawned a little and got up from the ground.

Skrap-it feeling his movement quickly woke up. "Good *twitch* morning darling"

D-structs instantly stared down fast, fixed him an angry look, and growled.

"Sorry I guess your still not into pet names yet *twitch*"

D-structs started moving forward. "Let's just eat and move on ok". They managed to secure a good load of ore in their last run and they ate until their felt tanks were full.

D-Structs with Skrap-It then left to continue on their journey to find a better home. They both were getting pretty sick of this white wasteland. It was getting hard to even judge if they were going in the right direction. Everything looked the same.

Skrap-It sighed he was bored. "Hey why don't we play a game to pass the time, how about eye-spy!"

D-Structs just continued and thought it was a pointless idea. "We are not playing games and even if we did. The only thing to see around here is snow and rocks that's it!"

"Well I could have said eye-spy with my little eye, someone, I adore and love *twitch*"

D-Structs suddenly stopped in his tracks. Despite the cold, he felt his engine suddenly go hot. His face was warm, blushing by his words. "You idiot". He muttered but smiled a little. Skrap-It was an idiot in love but what does that say about him. He loved the little skraphead and couldn't live in a world without him.

They traveled for some time until it came again to the point D-Structs treads were getting stuck. Skrap-It quickly jumped off him and ran underneath him. Yep, the usual ice had formed along with the wheels in his treads. He quickly hacked away at them until D-Structs was free to move again.

"There we go all done D-Structs *Twitch*"

The T-Trux was mad at this situation."This place is annoying me if it isn't ice-wrecking my systems! It's slipping on this snow. The sooner we leave the better!"

"The feeling is mutual," The little tool said as he jumped back on him and climbed upon his head. "Maybe our next place will be warmer! Ohh maybe my dream of living by the seashore will come true"

D-structs just kept moving, the temperature dropped sometime later and Skrap-it was shivering. D-structs told him to jump on his tread and climb in his engine. He promised to call him if anything interesting happens.

Several hours later

"Skrap-it!"

The little tool felt so warm that he fell asleep. D-structs yelled at him again. "Wake up! NOW!"

Skrap-it hearing him finally jumped out. "What..what's going on?!"

"Something interesting" D-structs replied.

When Skrap-it finally climbed back on his head he gasped at the sight before him. Huge black rock walls lay to the right and the left of them with only one way to leave the area. The canyon certainly was Interesting but didn't look safe to enter. Skrap-It had a bad feeling about it.

"Ahh, D-Structs why don't we *twitch* go around. I rather not set foot in there"

D-structs looked left and right again and saw the walls stretched for miles. "No, it could add on days to our journey and we both need to get out of here as soon as we can. Forward is the only way through"

Skrap-It wanted to protest but D-Structs already moved in but moved slow. There were a lot of rocks and boulders in the way, so he had to move around them. He was just glad the ground wasn't slippery but still, it was a pain to get through.

Suddenly a rock fell before them. D-Structs quickly stopped in his tracks and looked around and listened. Everything was quiet.

"Ah, maybe the wind did it," skrap-it said but the mightly T-Trux didn't say anything and continued. Suddenly he came to an abrupt stop and listened, he heard something in the distance. Then bits of snow fell from above.

"What is it? *twitch*"

"Quite!" He yelled. Again just silence. He moved down the path hoping to reach the other side soon. Just then another sound came and he stopped again his senses on high alert. They were being watched.

"D-Structs' let's head back! Something isn't right" The scraptool was panicking now. Feeling something was gonna jump at them any second.

"Skrap-It I...' But he didn't get a chance to say anything else before something jumped on his back.

"SCRAPTOR!" Skrap-it cried out and ran for it hiding under D-Structs fast.

D-structs thrashed his body and threw the scraptor off him. The thing landed but got right back up again and then roared at him. That's when D-Structs heard them. He looked behind and watched as 5 other Scraptors made their way to them, each one snapping and roaring at him. A big T-Trux to scrap. It was a mightly prize.

"What we gonna do! what we gonna do!"

"I'll deal with them! stay down skrap-it!" He roared, letting them know they messed with your wrong T-Trux. He charged at the same time the Scraptors did. His claw reached out grabbing the one behind him and he spun using the scraptor he had and threw it towards the group.

He got 3 down but 2 managed to jump out of harm's way, they fried their claws and pulled themselves onto D-Structs again, one biting part of his tail and the other on his back, biting at his neck.

Skrap-it ran and hid behind some rocks and watched the fight take place. He was scared and wished he could help but what could he do. He wasn't a fighter but he was sure D-Structs could do it.

D-structs slammed into the wall getting one of the Scraptors who fell as he got crushed against the wall. He slammed his tail against a rock to get rid of the other one. The Scraptors got up again but he hit them with his claw and threw them as far as he could.

The other 3 got back up again growling at the T-Trux. They moved in closer. The T-Trux growled back his body ready for another fight when- Rocks starting falling, the ground began to shake, snow falling from the walls. The scraptor leader let out a cry and the rest followed him fast.

Skrap-it came out when they left."Hahaha that's what you get with messing with D-Structs! SKRAPFOOLS! Hahaha". Then it dawned on him. "Ah...why did they run off like that?' and why is this place shaking?"

The area around them shock more violently and D-structs heard a huge noise, he looked behind to see the horror that it was an avalanche heading straight towards them. "Skrap-it jump on! And hold on tight!"

The tool did that and D-Structs ran for it putting much speed as he could into his engines. But the area was small and hard to move around, he couldn't put his full speed on.

He knew it would hit them but he had to keep going. He had to-WHACK. He got hit in the head by a large rock, the force caused him to fall and Skrap-it flew off him.

The little tool hit the snow. D-Structs only got a glimpse of him but it was too late. He looked back and the last thing he saw was a wall of white before it smashed into him.
