Omake Week 2019, Day 7: And with this, we conclude Omake Week as we began, with the CHILDs up to their usual antics. But since this is the conclusion, I think a little ShizNat is called for!

...I think Natsuki may have been reading "Even an Omake, If It Please You," though.

Shizuru Fujino did not go into the garage when she came home. She had, rather, chosen to walk back from the Fuuka University campus, enjoying the pleasant late-winter afternoon. And since her last class of the day was done early, and Natsuki was therefore still in school, she had little to justify rushing home. So instead she took a leisurely stroll, walked through the front door, pet the dog, gave the hydra a skritch behind the crest of her fourth head, changed from her shoes to house slippers, went over to the living room couch, popped her earbuds into her ears, laid down, and cracked open a book.

This was not really a surprise. Shizuru was not mechanically inclined, and her personality was best suited to address household chores by instructing the staff to take care of them, like a great lady of Heian-Kyo. Since she did not have staff, this led to her becoming regularly acquainted with the vacuum cleaner, the dustcloth, and any number of bathroom-cleaning implements. But other than as it related to gardening tools, the garage was Natsuki's domain.

Said Natsuki Kuga, on the other hand, immediately went into the garage upon coming home two hours later, because she didn't want to leave her Ducati outside for the evening's predicted rain. Parking, however, proved more difficult than she anticipated because a metal-frame shelf had been knocked over, spilling its contents out into where she wanted to put the motorcycle. Gritting her teeth, she parked the bike in the open doorway, yanked off her helmet, and after a moment's examination extracted a red rubber ball from underneath a half-broken flowerpot.

She most emphatically did not pet the dog or skritch the hydra when she went into the house.

"Duran, Kiyohime, would either of you care to tell me who left this ball in the garage?"

Duran and Kiyohime looked at each other for a long moment, and then Duran pointed his paw, and Kiyohime pointed all six of her heads…directly at Kiyohime's fluffy purple sheep pillow.

"The sheep did this?"

There was a moment's pause, and then seven heads nodded furiously.

"I see. So she was the baaaaaad girl who knocked over everything in the garage?"

Duran and Kiyohime winced, apparently considering the pun part of their punishment. Shizuru, however, had been right at the break between songs, because she sat up on the couch and pulled out her earbuds to protest, "Natsuki, I haven't even been in the garage for two days!"

Natsuki sighed.

"I know, Shizuru. You're an entirely different kind of 'bad girl.' Though…if you like, you can feel free to comfort your girlfriend by demonstrating just how bad you can be." She glared at the CHILDs. "We'll have lots of privacy while these two are making sure the garage is spotless before dinnertime."

Natsuki was famous for her glares. Indeed, this one was potent enough to have Duran and Kiyohime heading for the garage almost as fast as Shizuru was off the couch and heading for her.
