A/N: Okay guys, I kind of lied to you. This is the wedding day part one. I promise the next chapter will be the wedding. I hope you enjoy, and we can all take our minds off you know what from the last episode.
Sonny and Davis were lying in bed cuddling. Lisa leans up and kisses him. "I needed this. Just a peaceful day in bed with you."
"Yeah baby, this is pretty great." Sonny runs hand long her hip. "But we got plans today."
Lisa props herself up on an elbow "And what are these plans?"
"Ah." Sonny chuckles. "That would be a secret." He watches her face contort.
"How can it be a secret if it involves me?" Lisa counters. She loved that he did little things to surprise her, but she hated knowing there were secret plans which he refused to tell her.
"Fine Davis let's say it's a surprise then. That better?" He watches her pout.
"No Sonny. You know I hate surprises. Just tell me, please."
"Listen Lisa, this is kinda a big deal and I want it to be special. And I know ya hate surprises, but if ya can trust me on this one you're really gonna like it, promise." He strokes her cheek.
Lisa rolls her eyes. "I trust you, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't like surprises."
"But you're gonna go along with everything, right?" Sonny says before kissing her head. God she was stubborn sometimes, Sonny thinks.
"Yes, Sonny I will."
"Good. Now we got bout thirty minutes till we gotta get up." Sonny says as he rolls on top of her.
"Mmhm. I don't know if I'm in a thirty minute kind of mood. I was in more a marathon mind set." Lisa smirks.
"Gonna have to be Ma'am or we're gonna be late." Sonny says before kissing her neck.
"Mmm. This is my only choice, isn't it?" Lisa moans as Sonny hands run down her body.
"Yes Ma'am." Sonny kisses down her body.
"Well, keep it up and maybe it will be worth it." Lisa giggles.
"Oh, I can always keep it up. Ya never have to worry about that." Sonny chuckles.
As Sonny drives them towards their destination, she looks around and sees where they are. "Sonny why are we at the harbor? Are you taking me on another sunset cruise?"
"Not exactly. Now can ya please stop askin questions and go with the flow." Sonny looks over at her.
"Because that's in my nature." She laughs.
Sonny pulls into the parking lot of the Hilton. "Ya aren't wrong. This is gonna be fun though."
They get in the elevator and Lisa watches Sonny hit the top floor button. "The penthouse Quinn?"
"Yes Ma'am." He nods. "Only the best for my incredibly beautiful fiancé." He knew he shouldn't enjoy Lisa squirming as much as he is, but damn this was fun.
"Now I really want to know what you are up to." She says looking him up and down. "Why won't you just tell me?"
"Because you'll see in a minute." Sonny says before the elevator dings and the doors open on the top floor of the hotel. "Right this way my love." He points her to the Presidential Suite when they exit the elevator.
"The Presidential Suite huh?" Davis questions. She could not figure what he was doing for the life of her.
Sonny pulls the key out of his pocket. "Yes Ma'am" He unlocks the door and pushes it open. "Welcome to our weddin day."
Lisa's head was spinning. 'Did he just say wedding day?' She questions to herself. "Wedding day... Sonny what is going on here."
Sonny looks into her eyes and sees total shock. He takes her hands in his. "I love ya. And I have wanted to marry ya for a very long time now. And uh, that's what we're doin today, we're gettin married."
Lisa was still in shock. "Sonny did you just wake up this morning and decide this?"
"Naw baby. Emma has been helpin me plan this for a while now." Sonny answers as he watches the wheels still turning in her mind.
Davis looks around the suite. "Where are we getting married?" 'Did I just say where are we getting married?' She silently questions.
"Ah. That would be important, wouldn't it?" Sonny pulls her over to the window and points to a private yacht. "On there. At sunset."
She was fighting back the tears. "Sonny you did all of this for me? You booked this suite and a yacht for us to get married."
Sonny wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her close. "Yeah baby, I did. Figured it was bout damn time we celebrated what we got."
Lisa wipes a stray tear away. "I'm speechless."
"Like a good kinda speechless?" Sonny jokingly asked.
She nods. "The best kind. Thank you for this." She smiles. "Can you kiss me now please?"
"I would love to." He captures her lips in a deep kiss filled with emotion. "I love ya. And I'm gonna leave ya in the capable hands of your bridesmaids."
"My bridesmaids?" Lisa repeats as she watches Emma, Mandy and Ronnie walk out of the other room. "Sonny." She sniffles. "You didn't have to do all of this. Hell, we could have done this in the backyard."
Sonny kisses the top of her head. "I wanted to make this as special as I could. And I know those three mean a lot to ya."
"Thank you." She smiles.
"I'm gonna head out now. I'll see ya ladies later." Sonny leans his head down and kisses Davis on the cheek. "And I love ya. Remember to relax and enjoy this a little bit."
"I will." Lisa gives him one more kiss before he walks out of the room. She turns to the other three in the room. "What the hell is going on?"
"Well, you know." Mandy chuckles. "Baby Hayes here has every detail planned out."
"I can't help it that my parents taught me to be prepared for anything." Emma huffs. "But Mandy is right I do have every detail planned out. And yes you are getting married today on a yacht at sunset."
Lisa stepped forward and hugged Emma. "Thank you. I have no idea how I will ever repay you."
"Lisa, don't you dare worry about that. Today is about you and Sonny and you guys enjoying this." Emma says as they pull apart.
"Mandy and Ronnie thank you for being here. It really means a lot that you two took time out of your lives to come." Lisa says looking between the two.
Mandy steps forward and hugs her. "Are you kidding me there was no way I could say no after Sonny's very awkward asking me to be one of your bridesmaids."
Lisa shakes her head. "I could only imagine. You know he doesn't do well with words when he's uncomfortable." She turns to Ronnie. "Thank you for coming down."
"It's not every day your sister gets married." Ronnie responds as they hug.
They pull apart. "I still can't wrap my head around the idea that I am getting married today."
"Emma." Lisa turns her focus to her. "Did Sonny really come up with this all on his own?"
"He did." Emma nods. "I may or may not have sent him a picture of you trying that dress on. And the plan kind of grew from there."
"I'm not going to lie; I am fairly overwhelmed by all of this." Lisa says walking around the suite. "He really did all of this."
"He really did." Emma smiles. "Do you want a drink?"
"Oh God yes." Lisa laughs. "I'm guess we need to start getting ready soon?"
Mandy hands her a mimosa. "If we want to stay on track with Emma's tight schedule, then yes."
"Don't hate on the schedule. There is a certain need to be on time with a sunset ceremony." Emma defends.
Mandy leans against the table and smirks. "Not hating, just informing Lisa of the plan. I may or may not be having flash backs to Jason most of the time."
"He would tell you this is a good quality." Emma chuckles. She turns to Davis and leads her to where the hair and makeup are set up. "Right this way Lisa."
Lisa looks around the room. "Emma this is amazing." She turns and sees the dress the had tried on that day at the bridal shop with Emma. "Oh my god, you guys got me the dress?"
"It is too prefect on you for you not to wear it." Emma says. "Let's get ready. I know Sonny can't wait to see you." Lisa nods in agreement.
After Sonny exited the suite, he headed back to the elevator to go to his hotel room. When he walked into the room, he found Clay, Jason and Ray stretched out around the room. "Gentlemen."
"Sonny boy." Jason chuckles. "You ready to be a married man?"
Sonny takes the beer Ray had extended to him. "It's exciting to finally put the official stamp on it. I mean we have been actin like a married couple for a long damn time."
"This is a good day for you two brother." Ray nods.
"How did getting Davis here go? Emma thought we might have to use some operator skills to make it happen." Clay laughs at his own joke.
"Oh damn." Sonny laughs. "There were a lot of questions and I had to butter her up some first, if ya know what I mean. But I must say, zip ties probably would have been a much easier."
"But she seems happy about everything?" Jason asks.
"She seemed pretty shocked at first, but as she started to wrap her mind around it, she couldn't stop smilin and sayin thank ya."
Clay takes a swig of his beer. "That's great man. I think I speak for everyone that knows you guys, I can't wait to see you two finally have this day and this moment."
Ray points at Clay. "That's damn right brother."
"Is there a honeymoon planned yet?" Jason asks from his place on the sofa.
Sonny shakes no. "Naw. Lisa's schedule has been crazy lately. We have been on some nice vacations together. I don't think it's a big priority for either one of us. Besides, she's the travel planner, so I'll let her come up with that plan."
"Why am I not surprised to hear that." Jason comments.
"Um, Jace, uh, ya know Mandy is here, right?" Sonny asks.
"Sonny, we are both adults. We are here to celebrate you and Davis. Mandy and I can look past what happened between us." Jason defends.
"Okay Jace. I was just checkin. I just want everyone to enjoy the evenin if ya will." Sonny responds.
"Don't worry Sonny, I have full faith that Mandy and I can get through the wedding with no problem." Jason reassures Sonny.
"This is gettin too serious, how bout some shots?" Sonny says as he makes his way to the bottle of makers sitting on the desk with the rest of the alcohol.
"There's the Sonny we know." Clay chuckles.
"Oh no Claymation, ya can't be mean to me today. It's against wedding day rules." Sonny explains as he pours the shots. "Come and get em boys."
After all the guys have their shots, Ray holds his glass up for a toast. "A toast to Sonny and Davis."
Sonny takes his shot. "Thank ya Raymond." He laughs.
"Emma would kill all of us if we messed up her down to the minute schedule. So, may I suggest we start getting ready."
"That sounds like a mighty fine idea Blondie." Sonny agrees. "Y'all better appreciate how good damn Ima bout to look in this suit. It hugs my curves in all the right places."
"Why are we still friends with him?" Ray shakes his head.
"Somehow he wormed his way into our hearts." Jason chuckles. "Let's get jocked up boys."
"Damn, I ain't heard that in a while." Sonny laughs.
"Well shit Sonny, that really suit really does hug you in all the right places." Clay jokes.
"I told ya." Sonny says checking himself out in the mirror. "I'm not sure I have ever looked this good before."
Jason pats Sonny on the shoulder. "You ready to head out Sonny?"
Sonny nods. "Beyond ready."
Emma, Mandy and Ronnie were sitting in the living room of the suite waiting for Lisa to exit in her dress. She walks into the room and is greeted by their smiling faces. "Lisa, you look beautiful." Ronnie comments.
"Thank you." Lisa smiles. "I'm really wearing a wedding dress and Sonny and I are really about to get married."
"If any couple has earned this day, it is you and Sonny." Mandy says with a smile. "You two better enjoy the hell out of it."
Lisa chuckles. "We will. As much as it's all crazy how it's happening, I am so happy it is happening."
"Do you feel ready?" Ronnie asks.
"Um, well, I wrote my vows in about an hour and when I woke up this morning, I thought I was going to spend all day just cuddling with Sonny. And now here I am about to get married." Lisa says.
"You're glowing though." Ronnie comments. "He really makes you happy, doesn't he?"
Lisa nods. "More than I can even begin to tell you. By the way, you three look gorgeous too." She says looking at her friends wearing matching sage chiffon full length dresses with thin spaghetti straps and a blouson top.
"Emma did a great job picking the dress and the hair stylist and the makeup artist." Mandy says looking between Emma and Lisa.
"Thank you, Mandy." Emma responds. She thinks things are going much better between her and Mandy than she thought they were going to.
"I just want to take a second and say thank you to all of you again for being a part of today. I know I'm not the best with feelings and expressing them, but it means so much to me that you are here." Lisa says.
"Lisa there is no way any of us were going to miss this. You're marrying you knight in shining multicams." Mandy says managing to keep a straight face at the last part.
Lisa shakes her head and laughs. "Oh god, he is."
Emma moves around the room grabbing last minute items that need to go with them before she addresses the group. "To the boat?" She asks and watches everyone nod in agreement.
