A/N: Here is the next chapter. This is set about two weeks after the last chapter. Hope you guys enjoy!

Lisa was hard at work in her office when her phone pinged with a text from Clay. "Davis, get to the hospital."

"Holy shit." Lisa mumbles to herself. She types her reply to Clay. "What's wrong?"

"Everything is alright, just get here." Clay replies. He looks up at Sonny. "She's going to kill both of us when she gets here. I really don't like being wrapped up in you trying to trick Davis."

"Shit." Sonny grumbles as he flops back in his wheelchair. He turns and looks at Clay. "She'll only be mad for a minute until she sees me walkin."

"She's called me six times already." Clay shakes his head. "She's going to kill both of us."

"I'm willin to take that gamble." Sonny chuckles. "I haven't been tellin her a lot about PT the last few days and I know she's worried that somethin is wrong. Think how happy she'll be when I show her my new trick."

"Dude, walking isn't a damned trick." Clay jokes.

"What's that sayin, oh, that's right, laughin to keep from cryin." Sonny smirks.

"I know she'll be happy, but once that wears off, she's going to be pissed." Clay cocks his eyebrow at Sonny. "And you know that."

"Can ya please stop tryin to rain on my parade, blondie."

"Yeah man. You enjoy this." Clay chuckles.

'Why the hell are they not answering.' Lisa thought to herself as she stormed down the hallways of the hospital. She knew Sonny should be in PT. She ripped the door to the gym open to find Sonny, Clay and the physical therapist talking. "What the fuck Sonny Quinn." She turns her glare to Clay. "And you too Clay Spencer."

Clay looks between Davis and Sonny, when Sonny doesn't give her an answer he speaks up. "Sonny has something he wants to show you."

"Is it a heart attack, Sonny. Because that's what you just gave me." Lisa hisses.

"Not a heart attack." Sonny smirks.

"Okay, then what?" Lisa asks still very annoyed with Sonny and Clay.

"Sandby." Sonny says as he pushes his wheelchair over to the entrance of the parallel bars. "Ya watchin?" He asks before pulling himself into a standing position.

"Yes Sonny, I'm watching."

"Here goes nothin." Sonny says as he takes his first step in front of Lisa in nearly two months.

"Oh my god Sonny." Lisa shouts. She moves towards the end of the bars. "Hurry you ass up." She teases.

"Damn Davis, I'm tryin." Sonny chuckles.

Once Sonny reaches the end, Lisa steps forward and encircles her arms around Sonny's torso. "I'm so proud of you."

Sonny wraps his arms around her. "It feels like I have waited a lifetime for this baby."

"I'm so happy baby." Lisa says taking in the feeling of him standing against her again.

"Listen honey, I could stand her forever, but my back and legs can't." Sonny chuckles.

"Oh." Lisa pulls her head off his chest and looks at Clay. She leans up on her tip toes and whispers in his ear. "I love you."

"I love ya too baby." Sonny responds.

Lisa steps back from him. "Your seat awaits."

"So kind of y'all." Sonny chuckles as he sits back down. He looks at the physical therapist. "Nick, am I free to go?"

"Yeah man, I'll see you tomorrow." Nick says as he shakes Sonny's hand.

"Thanks Nick." Sonny says.

After Nick walks away Clay turns to Sonny and Davis. "I'm going to let you two love birds be alone."

"Don't think that is going to get you out of the doghouse for your involvement in getting me here." Lisa tells him.

"I can live with myself." Clay shrugs. "Have a good night, guys."

"Ya too man." Sonny says. "Shall we make our way to my room, cause all I wanna do is kiss ya."

"That sounds like a good plan." Lisa says rubbing his shoulder. "Home sweet home." Lisa says as she opens the door to Sonny's hospital room.

"God I can't wait to actually go home." Sonny tells her.

"I know honey, but that's the same thing you said about walking and I just witnessed you do that, for what I think was not the first time." Lisa says sitting her purse down. "Is that why you haven't been telling me about what you have been up to the last few days?"

"Ya" Sonny shrugs. "I um, I wanted to be able to walk the whole way before I told ya about it."

"Sonny, that's sweet, but I want to know what's going on."

"I know ya do, it's just, it's I feel stupid tellin ya every minor update, when I could still hardly move." Sonny says softly.

Lisa studies him for a few seconds. "Don't you dare think you are imposing on me Quinn." Lisa moves towards him. "Or that I'm not happy when you meet one tiny goal."

"I just feel dumb. You're out here findin HVT's and I'm strugglin to do basic tasks." Sonny says watching her unbutton her uniform blouse. "I don't feel like your partner, I feel like you're my caretaker."

"I don't want you to feel like that." Lisa says tossing her blouse onto the chair close to her. "You are always going to be my partner." She untucks her undershirt.

"And what do ya propose we do to keepin me from feelin this way?" Sonny asks, liking where this was going.

"Hmm, let's start with this." Lisa says as she settles onto his lap.

"Mm, I'm likin this baby." He says as his fingertips dig into her hips.

She wraps her arms around his neck. "Feeling a little more like my super hot fiancé?"

Sonny runs his hands up her sides, feeling her skin under his hands for the first time in a long time. "This is definitely helpin."

"I'm gald to hear that." Lisa says before claiming his lips.

"That was real nice." Sonny smirks when they pull apart. "Ya know I haven't felt like myself since I got shot. Somethin bout ya on top of me though."

"Nothing like a good old fashioned make out session to fix you up." Lisa giggles.

"Davis, my love, I'm not so sure I would call that a make out session."

"I'm sorry, did I say I was done?" Lisa smirks.

"No, no Ma'am ya didn't." Sonny chuckles.
