Sorry for the long wait everybody, I'm not going to even bother explaining why I've been gone for so long or why I didn't post up my chapter last month when I should have done. Because it would all take to damn long to explain things in words. Any way, here's the long awaited chapter everybody's been waiting for to read and see, but other then that I hope my readers, fellow authors/writers, and fans enjoy the chapter as much as I did writing it for you guys. A Shocking Surprise
Location: The Dragon Temple
As Light and the others landed softly on the cold hard ground outside of the Dragon Temple training room, Spyro saw a familiar golden glow comings them and knew who it was and as Sparx's finally reached Spyro and the others he started talking, which gave Light a headache.
"Sparxs, it's good to see you too, everything okay." Spyro asked Sparxs happily.
"Oh you know, flying over here and telling the dragon Guardians what happened to you, but other than that I'm good Spyro." Sparx said happily to Spyro and the others. Light walked in front of Sparx's and decided to get some questions from him that needed answering, because Sparx was looking straight into Light's purple eyes and waited to see what would happen to him, but nothing happened instead he continued looking into Light's eye which was starting to get creep out Light, but Sparx's finally broke the silence with his talking.
"So umm, you're not going to hit me or something?" After hearing Sparx say this to him, Light was shocked and surprised by this, even his purple eyes were wide open in shock.
"Why in hell would I hit you, Sparxs? Unless you broke something of mine, yay then I would hit you and turn you into a lamp post, but seeing how you're here already and not at my home. There's no reason for me to hit you is their?" Light said calmly to Sparxs who just sighed in relief, while Light had his eyes half closed and waited for Sparx to calm down. After a minute or two, Sparx finally calmed down and looked straight at Light and others to see what they wanted from him.
"So, did you tell the Guardians of what happened to Spyro or did you not?" Light asked softly.
"I did tell them, Light? They should be coming down here any minute now." He said happily to Light and the others while he looked towards the door way that lead into the training room of the dragon temple and out walked the four Dragon Guardians that were walking towards them, while Sparxs softly added, "Wow, I've never been right before."
"Speak of the devil; he was right this time though." Fire said smartly to Light and the others while walking up by Light's right side and stopping their by his side. Light looked at Fire and laughed with her for a few seconds, and then they turned their scaled heads back around and watched as the four Dragon Guardians were nearing them. However one thing caught Light's attention right away, there was a small figure standing in the door way of the training room and what looked like to be a small dragon, but Light couldn't tell from here. As Light looked more closely to the small figure standing in the door way, he noticed that this small figure had red scales across his body from head to tail and a golden underbelly, horns, wings, wing tips, spikes, and tail blade as well just like him and Spyro, and judging from his age and height he must be a few years older than Spyro and one and half years older than Theresa. The real thing that caught his attention about this small young dragon was his light yellow eyes, which he had seen just a few times in his life and only one dragon had those types of eyes, Flame. After looking at the fire dragon standing in the door way for a few minutes and studying him, Light knew this young fire dragon was none other than, Flame the dragon Ember's little puppet and slave.
"So, Ember's already putting her plan into action then. I have to hand it to you Ember; you're a lot smarter than I thought you were."
Light looked away from Flame and looked towards the Dragon Guardians who were sitting on their hind legs with their tails swiftly moving back and fourth behind them and their wings folded against their sides. As the Dragon Guardians looked at the four young dragons, Spyro and Theresa walked forward until they were in front of the Dragon Guardians while their backs were turned at Fire and Light. As Theresa and Spyro looked up at the four Guardians, Light had his purple eyes still focused on Flame and watched his every move while Fire looked towards her father.
"Hey Dad and Guardians, how have you all been these days? Good I hope." Fire asked softly. Ignitus looked at his daughter and smiled as did the other Guardians, even Light smiled at this.
"We're doing fine Fire, but how about you though, how you and your mother doing these days?" Ignitus asked Fire softly.
"Mom's doing fine and so am I, Dad. Mom's been asking me when you will see her again. It's been almost two months since you last saw Mom, the least you could do is go and see her Dad." Fire said softly to her father while Light and the others listened quietly to their talking.
"I sent her a letter a few days ago, explaining that she can come here and stay. How's that, Fire?" Ignitus said joyful to Fire and the others.
"I'm glad to hear to it, Dad." She said happily to her father, and then add softly, "I'm guessing you four Guardians already know why we're here?" The Guardians nodded their heads all at once. Fire looked at Light on her right and spoke softly to him.
"Well I'm done talking for the moment, your turn honey."
"Hmm, pet names already Fire. I thought we were taking this relationship slow not fast." Light said funnily to Fire who just smirked at Light's comment. Light looked towards the four Guardians and spoke lightly to them.
"Hi Ignitus, Volteer, Terrador, and father, I hope Sparxs told you everything on what happened recently?" The four Guardians looked at each other for a few seconds and looked back towards Light and nodded to his comment.
"Yes, Sparxs told us on what happened to Spyro here and Cynder. Speaking of which, where is Cynder, Light?" Ignitus asked Light softly.
Light looked down at Spyro and frowned a bit, what should he say to father and the other three Guardians about Cynder. To say that Mystery planned to have Spyro and Cynder separate so Ember couldn't capture them so easily when they were together, tell them that Cynder ran away from us and left a note to Spyro saying that she was afraid of hurting Spyro and us if her darkness returned to its monstrous side, or should he lie to the Guardians about everything, but lying never got any where so he decided to tell the Guardians on what happened anyway, Light looked back up at the Guardians and then looked one more time at Flame who was sitting on his hind legs and was looking down towards them watching everything happen with his yellow eyes. Light looked back at the Guardians and decided to break the silence and answered Ignitus's question.
"Cynder ran off and left a note for Spyro here." Light said softly to everybody. The Guardians were surprised by this event and probably even shocked as well; the Guardians didn't speak for a few seconds until Cyril broke the silence and looked down at his son, Spyro.
"Ran off, son is this true about what Light's telling us?" Spyro looked at his father for a few seconds before looking up at Light, wondering if he should answer his father's question. Light looked down at his young brother and smiled a little bit; he nodded towards their father letting Spyro know it's okay to answer. Spyro looked back up at his father and smiled a bit, which made their father Cyril smile as well. Light continued looking down at Spyro and smiled less this time while he was thinking to himself.
"Spyro's still getting used to Cyril being our father, I'm guessing he's still upset that Ignitus wasn't his father, but what can you do. We can't turn the hands of time backwards, but forward. Spyro you have so much to learn about life and how unfair it can be, you should glad and happy that Cyril is our father."
Light looked back up at the four dragon Guardians and watched them looking down at Spyro and waiting for the answer from him. Spyro looked at Light and Light looked back down at him, wondering if he should tell them about Cynder running away or lie to them, but Spyro never lied.
"It's okay Spyro, you can tell them about what happened." Light said calmly to Spyro while continuing to look down at him.
"I know Light, and I will." Spyro said softly to Light. Spyro looked from his older brother Light and looked back up at the dragon Guardians, while Light also looked back at the Guardians as well.
"What Light said is true, Dad. Cynder ran off a few nights ago and left a note for me, saying that she didn't want to hurt anybody or worse killed, but the main reason she left was because of our grandmother's plan to separate us for three years so Ember and her gang couldn't catch us. That was the main reason why Cynder left us though." Spyro said sadly to the Guardians and the others around him.
"Wait, when you mean "grandmother" Spyro? You mean Mystery the purple dragoness, right or am I just hearing things." Cyril asked his son surprised, to this Spyro just nodded and the Guardians looked at each other in shock and wonder, then Light decided to cut in and speak to the Guardians who just turned their scaled heads at him and waited for his answers.
"Yes father, Mystery was there and she did plan to have Spyro and Cynder to separate for the next three years, and quite frankly I don't like this plan of hers." Cyril sighed softly to himself and shook his blue scaled head side to side with an annoyed look on his face and looked towards the blue sky for a few seconds then looked back towards his son, Light and sighed even more. Ignitus caught his best friend Cyril sighing, which made him smile just a little and decided to ask his friend about it.
"Having a hard time taking all this information in, old friend?" Cyril looked at Ignitus and found him smiling a little bit, which made him slightly annoyed at his friend's action.
"Oh you have no idea Ignitus?" Cyril said annoyed to his friend, then softly added "Mother was always creating plans and making them work, however her plans always seemed to make somebody run away or hurt in the end. Which in this case is my son, Spyro and his friend Cynder, I think's time I gave my mother some good hard advice the next time I see her."
"Good luck with that Cyril, your mother was never good with advice. Look at what happened to Master Time and when he tried to give "some" good advice to her. He ended up with two missing teeth, a broken leg, two black eyes, scales all scratched to hell, a broken wing, and his tail blade cracked in half. Master Time was lucky he didn't get his tail shoved up his ass by her; otherwise we'd be calling him "Mr. Bent Tail McGee" today if he was still around with us." Terrador said funnily to Cyril and the others around him.
"That's an image I don't ever want to think about." Cyril said creepily to everyone around him, which everyone nodded in agreement.
"Anyway, back to the main topic of things. What else did Mystery want, because we all know she didn't come all the way from the West coast just to tell you to separate Spyro and Cynder from each other, there was something else she wanted from you Light wasn't there?" Volteer asked Light questioningly, which made everyone around him look at him with weird and shocked looks, Light however gave Volteer a glare. Volteer looked at everybody around him and was wondering why they were looking at him.
"Why's everybody looking at me for anyway, do I have something in my teeth, eyes, scales, nose, or …" Volteer said very fast to everybody around him.
"That's the Volteer I know, always talking to fast." Terrador said calmly, which made Volteer look at him.
"What, was it something I said?" Volteer asked.
"Yes, it's weird when you talk so calmly and normal it's downright creepy if you ask me." Cyril said weirdly to Volteer, while Volteer looked towards his blue scaled friend Cyril.
"I have to agree with Cyril on this one, Volteer old friend. " Ignitus said normally to Volteer which made Volteer look his way.
"Oh, it's about how I asked Light about what Mystery wanted from him is that right." Volteer asked Ignitus calmly.
"Ding, ding, ding, ding, we have a winner folks. Come back next week when Volteer asks about, "why does he talk so much". Found out next week." Fire said with laughter in her voice which made everybody laugh even Volteer himself laughed, while Light just smiled and laughed as well. After a minute of laughing their asses off, Light decided to break the silence and ask Volteer about his question.
"So how did you know about what Mystery wanted from me? I know you're super smart and quick to talk, Volteer. But I've never seen you one of looking into visions of the past of time and telling them to me like a fortune teller does. So my real question is Volteer, how did you know?" Light asked Volteer calmly.
"Oh that's easy Light, when you've been stuck with these three old farts and Mystery for a long time like I have you pick up on some things. I've known Mystery for a long time Light, I'm not going to bother telling you all the things she did in life, but I will tell you this. When your grandmother Mystery wanted something, she wanted it." Volteer said quickly with a calm tone in his voice to Light, he then quickly added softly, "Did she want something from you Light or did she not?" The Guardians all looked at Light and waited for his response.
"Yes, she did want something from me?" Light said calmly to the Guardians while his father looked at him with question.
"What sort of thing did she want from you, son?" Cyril asked questioningly.
"She wants to know where Restless is, but I told her I didn't know. I haven't seen grandfather in over some time now and I'm pretty sure Lightning would tell her the same thing too." He said softly to his father, the Guardians, and everybody around him, he then later added calmly, "Do you know where Restless is father, because I sure as hell don't." Cyril looked to the ground and by the looks of it was thinking hard about his father and wondering where the hell he was at.
"Restless the light dragon, now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time." Volteer said normally to everybody.
"Nor I, I haven't seen him since what like five years or so?" Ignitus said tiredly to everybody around him, then Terrador then calmly added, "Something like that I think, Restless was always one for adventure and it's probably why he left so long ago."
"I'm guessing grandfather was pretty great back in his time, because you Guardians sound like you respect and speak highly of him." Spyro said softly to the Guardians and everybody around him, while Terrador looked down at him with a smile on his green muzzle.
"Of course we speak highly of Restless your grandfather, Spyro. He's one of the greatest light dragons ever to live; he's done so many things in his life that puts ours to shame, not to mention that he's extremely powerful and very difficult to defeat in battle. Spyro your grandfather's has defeated many great villains this world has ever seen, he's defeated Terror the light dragon, Darkness Steel, Malefor aka The Dark Master, and even the dragon god of Darkness himself. Restless has saved the world so many times I've lost count already, but lately your grandfather is more into adventures these days and searching for unknown things to destroy," Terrador said with pride to Spyro, while Spyro looked up towards Light and decided to ask him about what Terrador said was true.
"Is this true, Light? That our grandfather did all those things?" Light looked down at his little brother and saw the smile on his purple muzzle, which made Light smile as well.
"Well, I'm not exactly sure how true Terrador's story is, but seeing how the Guardians knew Restless more than I did, I'm guessing some of it is true and false. But I do know one thing that is true about our grandfather, Spyro. He's extremely powerful as Terrador said he is, it would take ten purple dragons to take our grandfather down." Light said calmly to Spyro, while him and Spyro looked towards their father and waiting for his answer.
"That's nice of you guys to speak of my father that way." Cyril said softly to everybody around him, he then added calmly, "As for where Restless is Light, I'm not sure myself. The last time I saw him was five years ago in Warfang, said something about going north and exploring some old underground temple, after that he left and since then hasn't returned."
"Well that's one place for grandmother to start looking then. Just a heads up father and Guardians, she might be coming here to get more answers from you, just thought I'd tell you before I forget." Light said normally to his father and the Guardians. After a moment or two of total silence, Fire decided to break it and spoke softly to everybody around her.
"Well don't keep the Guardians waiting in the dark, Light. Tell them why Spyro and Theresa are here for?" Light looked at his girlfriend Fire for a few seconds before turning back and looking at the dragon Guardians in front of him.
"Speaking of which, why are Spyro and Theresa here for any way if I may ask?" Terrador asked Light questioningly. Light closed his eyes and took a deep breath for a few seconds, and then exhaled. Light opened his purple eyes and then looked straight at the dragon Guardians with a calm looking face and spoke to them in a calm tone of voice.
"Spyro and Theresa here want…" But before Light could finish his sentence, Spyro and Theresa cut him by speaking together, "We want advanced training!" As they said that together, the dragon Guardians, Light and even Fire were shocked by their words. Light however looked down at his younger brother and sister, and gave them a glare of anger.
"Spyro and Theresa!" Light yelled angrily at them, which made Fire and the Guardians finch at his voice of anger. Spyro and Theresa looked up their older brother and gave him their own glare while Spyro spoke calmly to him, "Look, the Guardians are just going keep asking questions until they get the answers from us." Theresa then added her own words to Light, "Spyro's right, just get to the point already." Light looked up at the dragon Guardians and shook his head side to side in anger.
"Did… did I hear you right Spyro that you wanted advanced training?" Cyril asked his son Spyro. Spyro looked his father in the eye and spoke in a calm tone of voice, while Light looked at his father as well and waited for his little brother's answer.
"Yes father I did, me and Theresa both want it." Cyril and the other Guardians all looked at each other for a few seconds before looking at Spyro and the others around them.
"Well what brought this on then? Taking advanced training is very serious and something to think about. Are you two very serious about doing this, I mean really serious?" Cyril asked his son and daughter calmly. Spyro and Theresa looked at each other for a few moments and then looked up at their father with smiles on their muzzles.
"Yes, we are serious about this father." They both said loudly to their father and everybody else around them, which made Light sigh with doubt and worry while Fire just looked off to the side sadly.
"Then what are your reasons for wanting advanced training then if I so may ask?" Ignitus asked Spyro and Theresa questioningly.
"To protect our loved ones and those who need it." Both Spyro and Theresa said together loudly to Ignitus, giving him their answer. Ignitus looked at his friends for a few seconds and nodded to them while looking back at Spyro and Theresa, and then adding softly to them, "Good answer for now, but may I remind this advanced training maybe the hardest you two will ever face in your life time. Get an early sleep and eat well, my friends. That's all I have to say for tonight, but I will tell you more in the coming days alright?" Spyro and Theresa nodded, while Light and Fire looked at each other with worry in their eyes, they then both looked back at the Guardians and saw that Terrador was about to speak to them.
"You two do realize that this advanced training is what drove Malefor to complete madness, power, and anger right?" Both Spyro and Theresa nodded their heads and while Theresa then added softly to Terrador, "We know, our older sister Scarlett told us of him and what happened to him in the past." Light then looked at the Guardians with half closed eyes and a calm look on his face, which made the Guardians look towards him along with Spyro, Theresa, Sparxs, and even Fire.
"That's only because you four kept pushing Malefor to his limits in his advanced training, if you guys maybe of have eased up a little on his training Malefor wouldn't have turned out the way he is today." Light said to the four Guardians standing in front of him, which they in turn gave Light a glare, while Light added more fuel to the fire, "It seems to me that the words that I just spoke to you are true then, judging from the glares you four Guardians are giving me I'm guessing I'm right on that part." The dragon Guardians looked at each other sadly for a moment or two before looking back at Light and the others around them.
"What you say is true Light. There are times I wish I could turn the clock back and restart that part of history, but we can't." Ignitus said sadly to Light and everybody around him, while Light gave the dragon Guardians a grin.
"Then you Guardians need to stop repeating the past, but move forward, after all this is a fresh new start, a new beginning, a new chapter, and a new life. The past is yesterday, the present is today, and the future is tomorrow. That's the kind of stuff you four dragon Guardians need to learn and believe in." Light said nicely to the Guardians and everybody else around him, which made everybody smile in joy and happiness.
"You were always right with words son; you get that a lot from your mother." Cyril said softly to Light and the others around him.
"I'm well aware of it, father." Light said normally to his father. Spyro and Theresa looked up at their older brother Light, which made their older brother look down at them and then Theresa added softly and quickly to Light, "Can we go now or something, because this talking between you adults is very boring." Fire laughed at Theresa's words and temper, which made Sparxs laugh as well.
"I guess so; you two might as well get an early sleep. Seeing how you two are going to be getting advanced training in the next three years. Alright, you two can go." Light said softly to them, with that Theresa, Sparxs, and Spyro started walking away from the Guardians, Light, and Fire until Light called out to them making the three young ones stop and look over their shoulders at Light , "Oh before I forget, stay from that fire dragon too, alright." Spyro and Theresa looked at each other questioningly for a few seconds before looking back at their older brother with weird looks on their muzzles.
"Umm but why, Light. He doesn't look that dangerous or deadly?" Spyro said questioningly to Light, which made Light angry just a little bit.
"Just do as I say, alright damn it!" Light said angrily to Spyro, before adding quickly, "Besides looks can be deceiving, Spyro. Just stay the hell away from him alright? That's all I ask." Spyro looked towards the ground for a few moments, before looking back at his older brother with a frown on his purple muzzle.
"Alright, me, Theresa, and Sparx promise not to talk to him, okay." Spyro said sadly to Light, which made him annoyed with Spyro's temper, but before he could say anything to him Fire cut him with her own words.
"Look Spyro, your brother is not trying to be the bad guy here. He's only saying this stuff to you because he cares for yours, Theresa's, and god forbid I'm even saying this Sparx's safety." As soon Fire said that to them, everybody around her had smiles on their muzzles, while Sparxs had his arms crossed with an annoyed look on his face, and even Light smiled just a little though, while Fire added calmly, "It's alright to ask questions and get answers from completely total strangers from time to time, but it takes time to trust strangers and people, Spyro? It just can't be done overnight or in one day, it takes time Spyro. That's what your brother is trying to tell you, okay." Spyro nodded at her words and smiled even more while his older brother Light looked at his girlfriend Fire for a moment or two, which made Fire look towards him with a questioningly look on her face.
"What?" She said questioningly to Light.
"Father says I have a way with words, but you make it look like an art." Light said funnily to Fire which made her laugh as well while looking back towards Spyro, Theresa, and Sparxs.
"Years of practice love, years of practice." Fire said joyful to her boyfriend which made him annoyed and the dragon Guardians laugh along with Spyro, Theresa, and Sparxs.
"Years of practice my ass, your just better at sweet talking that's all." He said annoyed to Fire while looking towards Spyro, Theresa, and Sparxs.
"But what Fire said to you Spyro is true. I do worry for yours, Theresa's, and god forbid Sparx's safety, but only because I'm your older brother and it's my job to protect you three from danger and harm, and I'd even give up my own life for you three. That's how far I'd go to protect my family, loved ones, and the world." Light said calmly, but softly to Spyro and everybody around him in which everybody smiled with joy and hope.
"Alright Light, I promise not to talk to the new dragon, but only because you care for mine, Theresa's, and Sparx's safety." Spyro said joyful to Light and others near him, Light then added calmly, "Good to hear Spyro, you three might as well get an early night sleep, because in two days that's when your real story begins. Now off with you three and have a good night's sleep." With that Spyro, Theresa, and Sparxs were running up to the training door way, as Light watched them run up to the training room door way where Flame was watching them from. Light noticed that Flame tried talking to them, but instead Spyro, Theresa, and Sparxs walked past him without even saying a word or looking towards him, which made Flame angry as hell, with that Light looked back towards his father and the Guardians.
"So, what's the story with the fire dragon up there?" Light asked the Guardians calmly while nodding his white scaled head towards Flame.
"Nothing much, I and your father found him two days ago injured. According to his story he was hunting for food that night by was caught by a group of apes and was attacked and left for dead by them, but when we found him he just was lying there cold and near death. We couldn't tell what his injuries were, seeing how it was night time when this happened. So, we brought him back to the Temple and allowed him to stay until he was all healed up. Why are you asking, Light?" Ignitus said normally to Light and Fire.
"Because that dragon you just brought into the Temple was none other than Ember's puppet, Flame the dragon." Light said hardly to the dragon Guardians which shocked them to the bone, and then Light added quickly, "That's why I had Theresa, Spyro, and Sparxs stay the hell away from him, because I don't trust him neither should Spyro, Theresa, and Sparxs." The dragon Guardians all looked at one and another for a few seconds before looking back towards Light and Fire.
"So that's why his story seemed so unbelievable to us, because when you think about it Apes don't ever leave their prey alive or left for dead. They flat out kill them until their prey is a bloody mess." Ignitus said hardly to everybody around him, Cyril then added his own words to everybody, "If Flame's here son, what should we do about it. Because we don't know much about him or Ember other than the rumors we keep hearing about them." Light looked at the Guardians with a calm look on his muzzle and eyes half closed, and sighed softly to himself.
"All we know at this point is that Ember plans to steal Spyro and Cynder's powers for herself and the reason for this is still unknown to this point in time. But the plan she has for now, involves Flame spying on Spyro or kidnapping him when the moment is right, Ember's doing the same thing for Cynder too, but if I were you Guardians I'd corner Flame and start asking some serious questions and if he attacks. Well I'm pretty sure you know what to do when the moment happens." Light said calmly to the Guardians and Fire, while the dragon Guardians all looked at each other for a few moments before looking back at Light and Fire.
"Thanks for the information, son. Now we know what to do "with" Flame." Cyril said normally to his son and Fire, then Light added calmly, "Don't mention it father, it's the least I can do. Well, I and Fire here are done enough talking for today, besides I need to get back and see if Onyx is back from the spy mission I sent him on in Warfang. Hopeful he brought back some good information on where Ember and her gang are hiding at now."
"Alright then, we won't keep you two waiting any longer then you may leave." Terrador said softly to Light and Fire, but then Cyril added his words to them, "We'll take care of Theresa and Spyro, son. You don't have to worry about them." Light and Fire nodded and turned their backs on them and spread out their wings, as they were about to flap their wings, a thought rushed though Light's head and made him look over his right shoulder at the dragon Guardians.
"Oh before I forget, try not to push Theresa and Spyro over the edge please, otherwise there's going to be some serious ass kicking going around and I promise you it isn't going to be pretty." Light said normally to the dragon Guardians who all just nodded and laughed silently to themselves, with that Light turned his white scaled head forward and saw that Fire was already in the air and was waiting for him to join her, then he jumped into the air while flapping his wings to stay balanced while a thought ran through his mind.
"That's probably the only answer I'm going to get from those old dragons is just nod, but it's better than nothing."
With that, Light and Fire started flying towards their destination, home.
Cut To Requiemas The Pale Red Dragon
(Location: Warfang Guard's Barracks, Main Hall)
After Requiemas had dropped off the short sword at the research lab, he walked into the Guard barracks, he looked around the barracks to find any signs the Captain of the Guard, but so far they were none. As he continued walking around he noticed the Commander of the Guards and his guards were carrying two guards who were knocked out cold, they weren't moving, and what puzzled Requiemas was that the two guards didn't look bloody or even injured for that matter. So, Requiemas decided to ask the Commander about it, as he reached the Commander's side and stayed there, he saw the Commander's guards carry off the two guards that were knocked out towards the medical room with the door shutting behind them, he heard the Commander sigh softly and hardly to himself the Commander then turned to face Requiemas, he wasn't even scared or jumped that the Lieutenant was by his side even, the Commander just had a look of calm and collective.
"Oh hi Lieutenant Requiemas, shouldn't seek up on me like that and I could have killed you right there and then." The Commander said calmly to Requiemas, which made him annoyed.
"Kill me; I'd like to see him try."
"So, what's the deal with the two guards then? What's their story then?" Requiemas asked the Commander calmly while nodding his pale red scaled head towards the medical door.
"Not a very good story, I can tell you Lieutenant. Those two guards who were knocked out were some of my best well trained guards in my unit, and yet they fall down like broken glass, how shameful." The Commander said coldly to Requiemas which sent a shiver down his back.
"He doesn't even care for his guards well beings, only for their undying loyalty and service to him. Scarlett and my friends were right about him, I'm definitely starting to question his motives as a Commander. But there's nothing I can do about it, the only beings to get rid of him are the King and Queen of Warfang and the Captain of the Guards himself, I'm nothing more than a lonely Lieutenant here. My words and action would mean nothing on the matter. But there is one way to get out of the guards, that is to retire from duty or make myself disappear, but that might not work well for me. So retire it is then, the Commander may not like this and might even yell at me for it, but I'm willingly to take that chance if means getting away from him."
Requiemas shook his red pale scaled head side to side, and then looked towards the Commander of the guard and saw him looking towards him questionable.
"Something wrong, Lieutenant Requiemas.?" The Commander asked questioningly.
"No sir, just thinking that's all." Requiemas said calmly to the Commander of the guard, which he gave Requiemas a hard glare of coldness.
"Well stop thinking about stuff and focus then! Am I clear Lieutenant?" The Commander said coldly and hardly to the young the Lieutenant, which made Requiemas nod and added rather quickly, "Yes sir." The Commander's looks returned back to his cool, calm, and collective self and looked towards the medical room door where his top guards were resting, while the Requiemas continued to look at the Commander.
"Have you found out who did it yet, sir?" Requiemas spoke calmly to the Commander of the guard who looked back at him.
"No, not yet I'm afraid. Whoever attacked my guards certainly knew what they were doing, the strangest part about this attack was that there no blood at the crime sense. The only problem they found was that the guards of mine only had slightly minor injuires to the back of the head, but nothing to serious." The Commander said sternly to the young dragon in which made him nod.
"Where the guards found at then?" Requiemas asked the Commander normally.
"On a roof top building near the Legacy hospital, which I had them stationed at." The Commander said calmly this time to Requiemas. As soon Requiemas the heard the name of Legacy, an image of a dragon ran through his mind, Onyx the dragon.
"That explains everything then, it was Onyx who was near the Legacy hospital and was spying on Ember and them, but it looks like the Commander's guards got in Onyx's way and he attacked them, but only knocking them out cold by not killing them. Looks like Onyx only knocked them out so they couldn't call for enforcements or bring attention to him; very clever of you Onyx, very clever."
Requiemas broke out of his thoughts, and calmly asked the Commander of the guards, "You don't think Ember and them did it do you, sir?"
"I hardly doubt it Lieutenant, if Ember and them did it they'd be blood and bits of bone at the crime sense. Not this knocking out the guard's cold and leaving them, that's not Ember's way." The Commander said sternly and hardly to Requiemas who just nodded and added normally, "So, what do we do for now Commander?"
"By doing our jobs Lieutenant, any way I have to leave and see what that young "spy" of yours wants of me." The Commander said hardly to Requiemas, which made him shocked by this.
"You mean that young dragon that I sent out earlier?" He asked questioningly.
"Yes, you don't mind do you Lieutenant Requiemas?" The Commander asked him sternly, which made Requiemas mad.
"Go for it, Commander." Requiemas said calmly with a hint of anger in it to the Commander of the guard, which made him smile.
"Good, I'll be on my way then Lieutenant Requiemas." The Commander said hardly to Requiemas, with that the Commander turned around started to walk away until the Lieutenant spoke out to him making him stop dead in his tracks and looking over his right shoulder at the young Lieutenant, "Have you seen the Captain of the guard anywhere, I've been looking for him all day and couldn't find him. So I thought I might as well ask you, sir?"
"Oh, I'm guessing you haven't heard then. The Captain will be on leave for the next four years, didn't say where he was going through or why he was leaving. If you had woken up early in the morning and you could have caught him and talked to him then, but he's gone now and left in me change of anything." The Commander said deeply to Requiemas.
"Thanks for the information, Commander." Requiemas said calmly to the Commander of the guard, as the Commander was about to leave Requiemas spoke out again towards the Commander, "Before I forget, can we go and talk somewhere alone, it's something important and personal." The Commander stopped again and looked over his right shoulder at Lieutenant Requiemas and frowned slightly.
"Talk about what, Lieutenant Requiemas?" The Commander asked him annoyed. Requiemas looked towards the Commander of the guard and thought to himself for a moment or two, "I'm doing this for you Scarlett, because you're my friend as well no matter what you think of me." Requiemas stopped thinking to himself and spoke the words towards the Commander of the guard.
"About my early retirement!"
Cut To Light and Fire
(Time of Day: Night time.)
(Location: Light's Castle Home, North of Warfang)
As Light and Fire landed softly on the cold hard ground, Light opened the door to his home while letting Fire enter first as he waited for her to go in. As Fire walked into his home, Light couldn't help but look at Fire's rear end for a quick second before looking away because Fire turned her red scaled head over her right shoulder and looked at Light and was wondering what was taking him so long to get in.
"Well, are you coming in or not Light?" Fire asked him calmly, which awoke Light from his "thoughts". As Light walked into his home and closed the main doors behind him with his white scaled tail, he looked at Fire and smiled a little to her.
"Look, I'm in now. Does that answer your question sweetheart?" Light said humourlessly to Fire, in which made her nod. As Light and Fire turned their heads forward, they came face to face with a bright blue dragoness starring right at them with a look of question and concern.
"Hello, you must be Light right?" The bright blue dragoness asked Light softly, which made Light think for a few seconds and then figuring out who that this bright blue dragoness was Sapphire, Inferno's girlfriend.
"You're Sapphire; I wasn't expecting you to be up and about till next week at least." Light said calmly and shocked to Sapphire, who just smiled at Light and Fire.
"Funny, how all that works out huh?" Sapphire said nicely to Light and Fire, while Fire added calmly, "Inferno told us about you being hit with a coma spell from Ember, and then Light here then said you could be in a coma for a week or more." Sapphire smiled less this time and frowned a little bit while looking off to her left side.
"Ya, Inferno told me on what happened to me while I was awake and then he informed me on that Light helped me, thanks by the way Light." Sapphire said softly to Light, which made him smile and Fire smile as well.
"Don't mention it Sapphire, anything for a friend in need." Light said nicely to Sapphire, while adding calmly, "Now, if you don't mind I have to leave and see if Onyx came back with any information from the spy mission I sent him on earlier in Warfang." As Light and Fire walked towards the stairs, Sapphire spoke to them which made Light and Fire stop and look over their shoulders at her.
"Oh you mean that dark dragon; he's quite the charmer and funny as hell, told me a lot of stories, some of them were quite "dirty" but never the less funny." As soon as Light and Fire heard this from Sapphire, both Light and Fire looked at each other weirdly for a few seconds before looking over their shoulders again at Sapphire.
"You're talking about Onyx right, our Onyx?" Fire asked Sapphire weirdly.
"Umm yes, but what's with the weird looks for then?" Sapphire asked them softly.
"It's just that I've known Onyx for a long time now, I know he's funny, makes us laugh and smile, but him being a charmer though that's new one for me." Fire said softly to Sapphire while Light looked towards Fire and added normally to her, "Actually that's true, Onyx's known to be quite charming when meeting new dragonesses he's never meet in person or his life time, it's just his way of meeting them and being polite to them that's all." Light looked over his left shoulder at Sapphire, and smiled towards her.
"I also meet Scarlett too, tried to talk to her, but she seemed sad about something and what appeared to be crying as well." Sapphire said softly to Light and Fire which made them look at each other for a moment.
"Scarlett's here, but I thought she said she was going to Lightning's today and visit him?" Fire said shockingly to Light which made him frown.
"That was her original plan, but it looks like she went off the beaten path and took a wrong turn somewhere. Looks like I have to talk to her about it and why the hell she's sad and crying." Light said calmly to Fire. Light looked over his left shoulder again at Sapphire and spoke normally to her.
"Sapphire, me and Fire will be in my library on the left side of the stairs here." Light then added nicely and calmly to Sapphire, "Why don't you go and get Inferno, and bring him here so he can listen on too. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to be left out either."
"That I can do, you two go on ahead while I go and get Inferno." Sapphire said softly to Light and Fire.
"Thanks Sapphire." Light said nicely to Sapphire while he and Fire walked up the stairs and then turning left towards the library.
"Don't mention it, Light." Sapphire yelled out at Light and Fire while she started walking towards the living room door way and entering it to go and get Inferno. As Light and Fire entered the library, they saw Onyx and Scarlett with their backs turned towards them until Light made a coughing sound which got their attention. Onyx and Scarlett turned around and found Light and Fire looking at them, Fire had a look of concern while Light looked angry at Scarlett. Light walked forward this by passing both Onyx and Scarlett while leaving Fire where she was at, as he reached his desk he turned around and sat on his hind legs, wings folded against his sides, and his tail moving side to side behind him. Fire walked up a bit and sat between Onyx and Scarlett which they sat as well, a few minutes later Sapphire and Inferno walked into the library and sat themselves near Scarlett and looked towards Light and waited for his words.
"Scarlett, Sapphire here told me you'd be here. I didn't want to believe her, but here you are! You went running off on your own again didn't you, Scarlett? And don't lie!" Light said angrily to Scarlett, which made her look up at her older brother.
"I won't lie Light, not this time. I did go running off, but I had to search for something in Warfang, because the story of the Hope hospital being mysterious burnt down I didn't believe it one bit so I decided to go and see if I could find anything there and I did." Scarlett said hardly to Light, which made him angry at Scarlett.
"Warfang, you went off to Warfang to search for something?! You do realize Scarlett, that the Commander of the Guard wants the three of us dead!" Light said angrily to Scarlett.
"I'm well where of it, Light. I'll take any punishment you may give me." Scarlett said calmly to Light. Light closed his purples eyes shut, and took a deep breath and exhaled; he reopened his eyes and looked at Scarlett with a look of calmness on it.
"I'll let you off the hook this one last time, Scarlett. But any more of this running off and searching for stuff by yourself, your history." Light said sternly to Scarlett, but then added quickly to Scarlett, "And next time at least take somebody with you like me, Fire, or Onyx alright?" To which Scarlett just nodded.
"Good, now what's this about you crying?" Light asked Scarlett calmly.
"Well umm… I…I sort of…" Scarlett tried to say to Light softly while a blush started to form on her dark red muzzle, but Onyx rolled his blood red eyes and decided to cut in, "What Scarlett's trying to say is that she has deep feelings and meat the Lieutenant of the Guard." As everybody heard this from Onyx, Inferno and Sapphire looked towards Scarlett and gasped with shock and surprise, Fire was smiling to herself, while Scarlett blushed like a red rose and Light remained calm and smiled a little himself.
"Is that so, well I was well aware of it, Scarlett." Light said nicely to her, while everybody was shocked and surprised.
"Wait you knew, but how?" Fire asked Light questioningly.
"Scarlett talks a lot in her sleep, and not to mention I looked into the Pool of Visions a few times." Light said funnily to Fire and everybody else in front of him. However Scarlett looked down towards the floor of the library and sighed sadly to herself, which made Light sad a little bit.
"Well, you can forget about me and the Lieutenant being together. He's the reason for my tears of sorrow and the pain in my heart." Scarlett said sadly to Light and everybody else.
"I'm truly sorry Scarlett, really I am, but you still have us and I think that's all you need." Light said nicely to his sister, Light then looked towards Onyx and spoke calmly to him, "So, Onyx get any information on where Ember and her gang are hiding?"
"Yes I did actually; Ember and her gang are hiding in the Legacy hospital." Onyx said normally to Light, which made everybody gasp with shock and surprise. Fire looked towards Onyx while he also looked back at Fire.
"But I thought the Legacy hospital was on lock down after the Hope was burnt down." Fire said shockingly to Onyx, while Onyx added calmly to Fire, "It is, from top to bottom with the Commander of the guards elite guards, and not to mention their crossbows are now armed with poison. Which means?" Light had his eyes half closed and had an angry look on his white scaled muzzle.
"Which means shoot to kill on sight?" Light said hardly to everybody in the room, while adding calmly this time, "They must be very serious about this, if Ember's that big of a threat to them that just makes it harder for us then too."
"I don't think breaking in is going to do any good for us either or sneaky in for that matter." Onyx said normally to Light, who just nodded to his friends words.
"Yes, neither will barging our way in won't matter." Light said softly to Onyx and everybody in the room, but Inferno then added his own words to Light and Onyx, "So what, we just sit around and do nothing?"
"We'll keep spying on Ember and her gang for the next three years, but if we do something serious we'll be caught." Light said calmly to Inferno, who just looked down towards the floor, while Onyx added more words to Inferno, "And we can't just storm our way through the city like we own the place, Inferno. The best thing to do is just wait and see what happens."
Then the whole room went silent for a few seconds before Light looked towards his sister, Scarlett and broke the silence in the room by asking her something, "Hey Scarlett, what exactly did you find at Hope hospital ruins?" Scarlett looked towards her older brother and spoke softly to him, "Not much, just a short sword and the crystal that I have here with me, but I let the Lieutenant of the guard have the sword."
"May I see the crystal please, Scarlett" Light asked her softly while holding out his right paw. Scarlett brought up her right paw and the crystal appeared in her paw and then threw it towards Light, to which he caught with his white scaled paw.
"Onyx and I already know what the crystal is, so do you Light." Scarlett said calmly to Light and everybody else in the room. Light looked at the light grey crystal in his right paw and study it very closely with his purple eyes, after studying the light grey crystal in his right paw for two whole minutes, and then Light's purple eyes grew wide with anger and shock at knowing what this crystal was. Light stood up his spot and turned around towards his desk, with his back towards his friends Light placed the light grey crystal on his desk softly, before smashing his right paw in anger at his desk which echoed though out the whole room making everybody stood up in surprise while looking towards Light.
"God fucking damn it; I've been chasing clones this entire time!" Light yelled out angrily which made everybody in the room gasp with shock, expect for Onyx and Scarlett who just remained cool and calm.
"A clone, I'm not following here Light?" Fire asked Light softly.
"The crystal on my desk here, is a Cloning Crystal used back then by Malefor during his Dark Master days. His idea of cloning others failed and so he gave the order to his Ape army to destroy everyone until none remained, but I guess I was wrong on that part." Light said angrily to Fire and everybody else.
"But I thought they were all destroyed during that time, how could one remain still?" Fire asked questioningly. Onyx looked towards Fire and spoke calmly to her, "The cloning crystal were supposed to be destroyed, but the looks of it some of the Apes took some for themselves or dragonesses like Ember just find this crystals with just pure luck. It's unknown till this day how the Cloning Crystal survived."
"And not mention the Cloning Crystals are extremely legal across the world." Light said somewhat calmly to Fire and everybody in the room.
"Wait and hold on there, this sounds like alchemy creating artificially life like the homunculus me and Sapphire learned in school? Wouldn't clones and homunculus be the same thing?" Inferno asked Light questioningly, but after not getting the quick answer he wanted from Light, Onyx answered it for him instead.
"Well, yes and no Inferno. You see clones come from being cloned from the original body there from, clones will always look alike like the original, the only downside to the clones though is that they age faster than the original and die quicker than the original as well. Then you have a homunculus an artificially life created for the use of eternal life, if that homunculus was to live without a soul you than have eternal life, but if the one who created it was to transfer their own soul from their original body into the homunculus and repeated then on that's also eternal life. The only downside to that though, is the creators own soul will soon start to reject the homunculus body and that homunculus body will start to rot over time. The only thing that's the same between the clone and homunculus is yes their artificially created life forms, by people who are trying to play god."
"Thanks for the information Onyx, just a little too much for my ears though." Inferno said annoyed to Onyx, while he laughed to himself which made Sapphire giggle as well.
"Well Inferno you're one who asked the question first, I just simply answered it for you." Onyx said funnily to Inferno, which got him even more annoyed with Onyx. As the laughter dead down a bit Fire then spoke softly to Light, "So if that Cloning Crystal was at the Hope hospital and where we all heard Chief Prowlus die at, then that would mean?"
"Chief Prowlus was a clone, along with Hunter as well." Light said calmly to Fire and others in the room, while turning around to face his friends forward and while adding calmly to them, "This making Ember the one who killed the six young light dragons that I was training a few years ago as well."
"So, are you going to say you're sorry to the real Hunter and Chief Prowlus?" Scarlett asked Light normally, while Light looked at her with an annoyed look on his muzzle.
"Hell no, I'll help them for now on, but me saying sorry to them would be a waste of time seeing how I know who the real killer is now." Light said annoyed and calmly to his sister, Scarlett.
"So, if Hunter and Prowlus are clones. Wouldn't Flame be one of them too?" Sapphire asked Onyx softly.
"No, Flame's real Sapphire." Onyx said quietly to Sapphire, while Scarlett added some of her own words to her as well, "He's been real since the day he was born into this world, Sapphire."
"As Malefor ever cloned dragons before?" Inferno asked Light questioningly, Light looked towards Inferno and nodded while adding softly to him.
"Yes he did, but he failed. You see dragon DNA is far more advanced than the other species in the world right now, so when Malefor cloned his first dragon which was an adult dragon at the time and he used a smaller cloning crystal for it. While the dragon clone was a complete success for Malefor, it went all downhill after that. As soon as the dragon clone was cloned and born into this world, the clone fell down and died. After the failed cloned dead that day, Malefor continued cloning and cloning through the years to come, with all the clones failing. After his final clone dying, Malefor order his Ape armies to destroy every Cloning Crystal so that his enemy's couldn't find it or use it to their plans. After Malefor was defeated and sealed away to the Convexity Prison by the Dragon Guardians, after the Cloning Crystals were all thought to be destroyed." Light looked back over his left shoulder to look at the Cloning Crystal on his desk for a few second before looking back towards his friends.
"However, some Cloning Crystals managed to survive from being completely destroyed by Malefor's orders. Some of his Apes didn't listen to his orders, instead took some Cloning Crystals for themselves for their own personal greed and while dragons like Ember just find them with luck and research. Kind of like how Scarlett found this Cloning Crystal on my desk here with just by digging it out." Light said impartial to his friends, while Inferno asked another question this time with a rougher tone of voice, "If Malefor's clones were such failures, why didn't he find a right way correct them then?" Light looked at Inferno with a questioningly glare, but Inferno was never one to back down from a fight or a cold hard glare, not until he got his answers he wanted from his enemy or in his case, Light.
"Well, according to my brother Lightning, although this he's research and theory. The larger the clone is the larger the Cloning Crystal should be. Or in your words Inferno, the larger the clone and Cloning Crystal is, the longer the life that larger clone should have." Light said hardly to Inferno, which made Inferno and everyone else shocked, expect for Onyx and Scarlett.
"The Cloning Crystal does all that; I thought it was just for cloning others not keeping it alive?" Sapphire said shockingly to Light, while Light looked towards her and spoke calmly to her this time, "You'd be surprised what a Cloning Crystal can do and can't do, Sapphire." Light turned his white scaled head back at his friends and watched them.
"The Cloning Crystal is kind of like a battery, while it gives energy to electrically doors or barriers and at etc. to live and survive. So too must the battery die as well, in other words the Cloning Crystal is basically the heart, mind, body, and soul of the clone." Light said hardly and harshly to Inferno and everybody else in the room, while quickly adding to his words, "That's what a Cloning Crystal really is."
The whole room fell into silence again for two minutes after the hearing and learning the truth and history of what Light told them about the Cloning Crystals and what they were used for, but the silence in the room was broken when Fire spoke softly to Light and others around her, "That's nice and all, but what happens now? We can't just sit around all day and tell stories." Light and Onyx looked at each other, and both sighed softly to themselves while Light looked towards his red scaled girlfriend.
"We'll keep spying on Ember and them for the next three years, but if we keep doing this too seriously, we'll be caught." Light said worryingly to Fire and his friends, while Onyx looked towards his friend Light and then added his words calmly to him, "And not to mention, all of us will be fighting against Malefor's dark armies as well." As everybody heard that, they had their heads down in thinking and what to do against these threats, until Fire spoke out causing her friends to look in her direction.
"So, all of us will be fighting against Malefor's dark armies, spying on Ember and her gang, and not to mention Warfang will also be fighting the battles against Malefor's armies with us being ally or enemy to them." Light looked at Fire with half closed eyes and was annoyed with her words.
"We will be fighting with Warfang, whether they like it or not Fire, ally or enemy we're still helping them." Light said annoyed to Fire while opening his eyes fully, while Sapphire cut in with her own words, "How are we supposed to fight against Malefor's larger army when they out number us three to one?" Light looked towards Sapphire's direction and smiled a bit to her.
"Just because they out number us three to one Sapphire, doesn't mean we're giving up without a fight. They may out number us with larger numbers and strength, but we have hope, family, friends, and love on our side and that's something even Malefor couldn't have in his life time, but instead he choose the darkness rather than having friends, family, or a lover at his side. He decided his destiny long ago, and we decided our fate to fight and protect our loved ones and the people in the world we've come to know and love." Light said nicely to Sapphire and everybody else in the room.
"Also Sapphire, I'm going to tell you these exact words that I gave to my students when they were alive and young. "One must first take a step forward in order to face their fears, instead of taking one step back of running away in fear". Those are the words I gave to my students just before they were killed by Ember's orders and now I'm giving them to you, that way they can help you out with your problem." Light said calmly and positively to Sapphire and everyone else in the room with him. Light looked over towards his friend, Onyx and saw him thinking about something.
"What is it you're thinking about, Onyx?" Light asked Onyx funnily, Onyx also looked at Light and laughed to himself as well before stopping and looking serious to Light.
"This is just a suggestion, but what if were to bring the Lieutenant of the Guard onto our side?" Onyx asked Light seriously, which made everybody in room gasp, while Light had weird look on his muzzle.
"The Lieutenant of the Guard, really Onyx?" Light said weirdly to Onyx.
"Yes, I mean think about it for a second. If we had him on our side, we could have him spy on Ember more and inform us with information on what the King and Queen of Warfang are planning against the Malefor's dark army. The more eyes we have, help, and information from him and the more we could use it our advantage." Onyx said seriously to Light and others in the room; however Inferno didn't like this one bit and was having none of it.
"You're not seriously of thinking about bringing Lieutenant Requiemas the dragon here with us are you?" Inferno asked Onyx hardly and questioningly, as soon Scarlett heard the real name of the Lieutenant of the Guard her interest perked up and looked towards Inferno and asked him about it to see if he was telling the truth or not, "The Lieutenant of the Guards real name is Requiemas?" Inferno looked towards her way and frowned to himself while saying to her, "Yes." Inferno looked towards Light and saw him looking at him with interest.
"Sounds to me Inferno you know quite a bit about Requiemas, but I shouldn't be surprised seeing how you and Sapphire were born and raised in Warfang yourselves? Mind telling me, what you know about him?" Light asked him interestedly, while Inferno just nodded.
"Not that much to tell you about exactly, just that Requiemas was born and raised in Warfang, he was trained by his grandfather and his father, his mother and siblings are unknown at this point, and joined the Warfang Guard when he was 15 and eventually reached the rank of Lieutenant at age 16, and since then has been the Lieutenant of the Guard ever since. That's all I know of him at the moment, sorry I couldn't give you more." Inferno said calmly to Light. With this new information about Requiemas, Light looked down the floor and was thinking about this for a few minutes. Fire looked at her white scaled and golden underbelly boyfriend was studying him with interest as well.
"You've heard the name Requiemas before, haven't you Light?" Fire asked her boyfriend questioningly with interest in her voice; Light looked up towards her and nodded.
"Yes, I've heard his name a few times here and there, but I didn't think he would be the one to be the Lieutenant of the Guard of Warfang though. I've heard his name when I was spying in Warfang one time, only because the people of Warfang gave the title to him and wouldn't shut up about it." Light said calmly to Fire and his friends in the room, Scarlett looked at her older brother, Light and calmly asked him about it, "What would that nick name be, Light?" Light looked over at his sister and smiled a bit to her.
"The Swift Fox Dragon is his nick name, but it's a title the city of Warfang gave him because he's very cunning, intelligent, calculating, brave, fearless, and calm when facing his enemies and opponents, but he has another nick name that I think suits him better." Light said nicely to Scarlett and others in the room too, Scarlett again asked her brother about it, "That would be, Light?"
"The Pale Red Warrior, a nick name that his enemies and opponents gave him due to his pale red scales on his body, which I think suits him better, but we're getting off topic here." Light said annoyed to Scarlett, which Onyx agreed with Light's words and spoke to himself quietly, "Indeed."
"So, Requiemas will be joining our little party then, Light?" Inferno asked Light questioningly, which made Light look over to him.
"I'll think about it, what Onyx said to us tonight does seem to make a good point, but with Requiemas being the Lieutenant of the Guard and with things being bad there in Warfang, I would say no, but if things were to change like Requiemas quitting the Guard or something among the lines like that. Then I would consider him joining us, but with the way that things are going in Warfang are, I'll think about it and we'll wait and see what happens." Light said tiredly to Inferno and the others in the room, while the room fell into silence again, everybody heard Scarlett yaw and look towards her while they laughing silently to themselves.
"That's a nice yaw there, Scarlett? Let the whole world know how about how tiredly you are, why don't you?" Fire said funnily to Scarlett, which made Scarlett blush with embarrassment before playful punching Fire left shoulder with her right dark scaled paw. After that, Scarlett lowered her right paw down to the cold hard floor and rested it there.
"It's not that funny you guys." Scarlett said annoyed to her friends in the room, while Onyx added funnily to her, "We thought it was funny, Scarlett. " Light smiled at his sister and laughed silently to himself.
"Still, I think we're all getting tired right now seeing how it's night time. Besides all this talking and shit, is making me tired as hell too. I suggest we all get a good night's sleep tonight, any objects." Light said even more tiredly to his friends, to which they said together tiredly to Light, "Nope."
"Then get the hell out of my library and gets some rest." Light said calmly, but tiredly to his friends while they smiled at his words. As Onyx and Scarlett got up first and walked out of the library, followed by Inferno and Sapphire leaving as well, and then is was just Light and Fire who started walking towards the door way. As they reached the door way the lend out the library, Light let Fire out first and again his purple eyes were glued to Fire's red scaled rear end and tail while Fire was walking out of the room.
"Now that's what I'm talking about, I'm surprised Fire didn't catch checking her out early in the night, otherwise she's might have asked me, "Hey, my eyes are up here not down there!" and she would've have killed me for looking too, but it would be all so worth it."
As Fire was out of the room and waiting for him, Light walked out of his library and before turning around and looking into the library, Light looked to the lights of the room where the candles were sitting and used a spell to turn them with just be talking to the candles of the library.
"Lights off." Light said tiredly to the candles in the library, which the spell worked its magic and the candle light in the library all went off and the library became pitch black with no light in the room, once the spell was done and the library was in complete darkness. Light used his right white scaled paw and closed the door with his right paw and the door to the library was closed to the darkness of night where no sound was made, but a gentle breathing of sleep and silence.
