Anyway, I'm not going to even explain why it took me so long to post this chapter up, so don't even ask. This part one of the chapter, part two will be posted up at the end of March so it's going to be a while before you see the next chapter, sorry. My, How Time Has Passed By

(Part One)

Light the dragon's Point of View

After I and Fire left the Dragon Temple that night to leave for home, with Theresa and Spyro would be staying at the temple for the next three years for their advanced training. When Fire and I reached home, I wasn't surprised to see Onyx there which told me he had finished his spy mission, another surprise for me was when Inferno's girlfriend Sapphire was awake and standing in front of me, we had a friendly talk about how Onyx was funny and charming, and how his stories were great as well. That surprised me a lot, because I wasn't expecting Sapphire to be up and standing till at least next week from her coma, but here she was in front of me awake and talking to me. Sapphire then told me that my sister Scarlett was home and was crying about something, which made me more surprised and shocked. Which told me, Scarlett went off by herself again, after Sapphire and I had finished our talk I told her to bring her boyfriend to my library so he could listen in on happened tonight and the day's early events. When all of us were in my library, I decided to ask my sister Scarlett why in the hell did she go off by herself again, when she promised me she was going to see Lightning and his friends. Scarlett countered back by saying to me, she had to go too Warfang to look for something in the ruins of the recently burned down Hope hospital, which of course pissed me off. She then told me, that she actually did find something buried in the ruins of the old hospital, a cheetah short sword and a small grey crystal in which she brought to me. I looked at both Scarlett and Onyx and I already knew what this crystal was and by the looks on their muzzles and eyes, they knew also what this crystal was as well.

It was a Cloning Crystal that was created and destroyed by Malefor aka The Dark Master. The idea for the Cloning Crystal was to be used to clone his ape army and increase their numbers, in which Malefor hoped would win the war with the dragons and other creatures of the realms. He tried cloning other living beings as well, such as the wolf tribes of the realms, foxes from their small villages or woods, moles from their cities, and even tried cloning some cheetahs from their tribes. Malefor thought if he could clone all of the realms creatures for himself and added them to his dark armies; he would not only win the war, but the world itself and all its creatures. However, like many great plans there's always a draw back to them. What Malefor failed to realize was that clones age faster than their original counter parts and Malefor cloned many of his apes. At that time Malefor didn't know his clone army was dying left and right, and because of his greed and madness to claim the world and all its riches for himself, his entire clone army was gone either by the war with the dragons or the other beings of the realms, from sickness to disease, or died by ageing to fast. Whatever the case was, Malefor didn't feel any remorse or sorrow for his clone army. Malefor kept on cloning for many years to come, however they all failed and Malefor was also losing the war to the Dragon realms and its hold on it. Nearly at his end, Malefor ordered all of his Apes to destroy all of his cloning crystals and cloned experiments so that none of his enemies knew what he doing, planning, and did not want his enemies taking his Cloning Crystals or experiments to use for their own greed and purposes. With all of this done, Malefor knew nobody had a chance in hell of ever finding his destroyed Cloning Crystals, remaining ones, or ever finding his laboratory. Malefor knew he succeed of destroying his Cloning Crystals for all time, but boy how wrong he was though.

After Malefor was defeated and sealed away in both by mind, body, and soul by the Dragon Guardians, his once mighty Ape armies started to fall and fall they did. The Dragons, wolves, foxes, moles, and cheetahs from all around the realms pushed back against Malefor's Ape army and drove them from everywhere. From the east to the west and then the north to the south, Malefor's ape army was defeated and then the Ape armies went into hiding by working in the shadows for many years to come. This victory was solid proof that even the greatest of all evils can defeated by single ray of hope and light. The victory over the Dark Master and his armies by the species of the realms was known as The Victory of Red Fang, the reason for being called this was due to the leader of all the species was known as General Redfang the wolf. He became the second wolf ever to lead an army of the realms species in the war and the first wolf ever and leader to have the least losses in a war, due to his never give up spirit, strategy, cunning, smartness, and being calm in the face of battles and war. Then Redfang was the best choice for the being leader of the realms species. If Redfang and his wolf pack members weren't part of war of against Malefor's armies, the story would have been different and told, but due to Redfang being there in the war and being the leader of the wolfs, dragons, foxes, cheetahs, and moles during that war and then winning the war, his victory over the Dark Master's forces became known as the, Victory of Redfang. Redfang had faced many opponents during his lifetime, but none were ever so great as his fight against the Ape King and right-hand ape of Malefor himself, Gaul. They had faced each other most of their lives, each time with Redfang wining as the victor in them; this made the Ape King Gaul very mad with rage. When they meet once more and for the final time, Redfang defeated and nearly killed the Ape King, but before Redfang could deliver the final blow to the Ape King, Gaul threw a smoke bomb at Redfang's paws and escaped. As Gaul was making his escape from Redfang's ebony blade, he declared that he would get his vengeance on the realms species for their win over the Apes and his master, Redfang also declared too Gaul that he and his armies of friends and family will be waiting and ready when the time comes. However they never meet again, it's unknown how or when they meet exactly in their life time some say they were best friends, others say they were enemies from the start, and others say that Gaul killed one of Redfang's friends and Redfang wanted Gaul brought to justice and to be hanged by the neck. Whatever story, legend, fable, or fantasy you want to believe in, one thing is true. Redfang and Gaul were definitely true enemies.

After a few days of the war being over, Redfang and his armies had found Malefor's laboratory and what they found underneath it was, but destroyed and useless broken walls and floors, however Redfang did find the left over Cloning Crystals which the Ape army failed to destroy. After finding the one Cloning Crystal, they found many more hiding in Malefor's laboratory. Redfang took the one Cloning Crystal to the dragon researchers and asked them what it could be and what, the researchers told Redfang this crystal was a Cloning Crystal and was used for cloning species mostly like him and others for Malefor's army and biding. With this information and news, Redfang ordered all of his armies to find and destroy every last one of the Cloning Crystals, with this deed done Redfang thought he was doing the job of purifying the lands from Malefor's evilness and twisted logical. But like Malefor, Redfang was so wrong. You see, some Redfang's army members mostly the moles, didn't exactly trust his orders and ideas of destroying the Cloning Crystals, so for their own selfness needs and greed's, some of the moles stole some of Cloning Crystals and took them home with them to do their own experiments with the Cloning Crystal. However someone in the moles group snitched on them and told Redfang about it. Redfang was mad as the flames of hell itself, with this information he ordered his wolf pack members to find and destroy every last ones of the Cloning Crystal. He sent his wolf pack members to towns, cities, and capital cities to find and destroy these cursed crystals, the wolf pack members did indeed destroy every Cloning Crystals they got paws on. Not only did the wolf pack members destroy the Cloning Crystals, Redfang also ordered them to capture and throw the moles in jail for life for it. This was another victory for Redfang, with the realm safe and sound. The realms were once ago at peace. Though Redfang thought he and his armies destroyed every last Cloning Crystals, not many believed this nor did I. I mean after all, how could Redfang and his army destroy each and every last Cloning Crystal, when my sister Scarlett found one buried in the remains of Hope hospital.

As much as I admire and like Redfang's courage to destroy every Cloning Crystals in the world, I can't help but feel if Redfang wasn't trying hard enough to find and destroy them. If he had destroyed them all, then my sister wouldn't have found one that I was holding in my white right scaled paw, because if Redfang "had" destroyed each and every last Cloning Crystal in the world, the story and the outcome of it would have been different.

Requiemas the dragon Point of View

First Year of Three.

After I meet Scarlett and Onyx, things exactly didn't go well in my favor and Scarlett and Onyx walked out of the city safe and sound. After hearing some stuff of Commander of the Guard from Scarlett and how he falsely accused her for murders and Onyx as well, my trust for the Commander of the Guard was starting become questionable, I was starting to question his motives as a high ranking officer and fellow dragon.

During the first year, things around the city of Warfang were peaceful and quiet which was enjoyable and lovely to see. Ember and her gang were mostly quiet during this time, but none of the citizens of Warfang didn't seem to mind or care which they should care because after all it's their lives on the line after all. But Ember and her gang seemed to be quiet and not causing much trouble which for Warfang and her people, but for Malefor and his dark armies though that was a different story.

Malefor aka The Dark Master wasn't finished with us just yet, instead of staying dead and silent for the rest of his imprisonment, he sent his two best Generals and his once lost Ape army to attack, capture, and surround the main areas around the city of Warfang. I knew what they were planning to do; they planned to attack the city from all directions north, east, south, and west. It was a perfect plan to use, if you're trying to capture or destroy a major city that is. Cynder took and successful captured the north and west surroundings while King Gaul successful captured the east and south surrounding areas of Warfang. Many of the moles, foxes, and cheetah tribes those areas had managed to escape before any real damage could come to them and their homes. Most of the moles retreated to Warfang for safety and shelter; the cheetahs moved to different tribes around the forest areas to live and while other cheetahs mostly retreated to Avalar for safety and leadership, and the foxes though all retreated to the city of Northern Light City for safety, shelter, food, and leadership. I was glad that the citizens of these surrounding areas were safe and sound, but for Warfang and her armies were losing a winning battle. Luckily, we had help from the legendary Dragon Guardians of the Dragon swamp temple; everybody wondered why the Purple dragon Spyro and his older sister Theresa didn't come with them to help. According to Cyril, Spyro, Sparxs, and Theresa decided to confront and take on Cynder while the Dragon Guardians and the armies of Warfang went on to take on the Ape armies of the Dark Master. The Guardians and the Warfang armies managed retake the north and west surrounding areas, this was a great victory for Warfang and another great victory came when Spyro and Theresa defeated and returned Cynder to her rightful size and returned to the city of Warfang. Many citizens of Warfang didn't want Cynder in the city after what she did to their family and friends, even the Commander of the Guard wanted her to be hanged by the neck, but luckily for Cynder the Dragon Guardians stepped in and told the Commander that Cynder was with them and told the Commander that Cynder should be dropped off all chargers in which he agreed to do due to the Dragon Guardians being a higher rank then the Commander of the Guard, which shocked the city of Warfang. As for me, I trusted Cynder enough not to do something stupid in the city, if my father taught me one thing it was to give a person a second chance in life, and I gave mine to Cynder as I did to Scarlett before her and that was good enough for me. As for the victory over the north and west surrounding areas, it didn't last long.

Ape King Gaul attacked and recaptured the north fast and hard, the Warfang armies tried their best to repel the attack, but it was hopeless. Gaul's ape army captured the north surrounding area and built camps in it to one day attack the city any time. Luckily, the Warfang army managed to recapture the east and south surrounding areas driving off the retreating apes. As for the west area, the Warfang army managed to hold and repel any attack from Gaul's apes threw at them. We managed to hold this position for the next year and a half, with both sides losing many members. It was clear though, someone or somebody would have to confront, defeat, and kill the Ape King Gaul to stop his Ape army from advancing any farther and the same was said for Malefor the Dark Master. As for the northern areas of the realm, I heard rumors of the "Terror of the Lands" aka Lightmare was helping the north and protecting it from Malefor and his dark armies, another ally of his whose scales were as dark as the night itself Onyx was also helping out along with Scarlett who was also helping out in the north. I wanted to go up and help her out too, but it was my duty to protect the citizens of Warfang to the very best of my abilities. I was glad that Lightmare, Onyx, and Scarlett were helping out and protecting the north and it cities, towns, villages, and citizens from Malefor's dark forces. Even Inferno and Sapphire who had disappeared during the Hope hospital burning had returned and joined in the fight. I was quite surprised to hear that Inferno had destroyed an entire Ape army in one day when the Ape army was trying to retake the west surrounding area, everybody in Warfang was shocked and surprised by this young dragon's action, even I couldn't destroy an entire army in one day. Inferno has definitely surpassed me in power and strength. Even Sapphire who helped Inferno that day, had defeated and killed the Ape leader who was leading the ape army that time was gaining up in skill and power, but it was good to know that Warfang had these great young warriors on her side.

As for me, I'm no longer part of Guard due to my "early" retirement. The Commander of the Guard didn't exactly take too well and yelled at me for being a quitter, but I wasn't quitter I was a winner. I left that day with my head held high and was glad for my decision to leave the Guard, although a little part of me did regret leaving the Guard at such a young age, but it was what Scarlett had said to that day that made me make this decision for early retirement.

"How can I be a friend to you, when you work for somebody who wants me dead?"

After hearing her saying that to me, it really opened my eyes to the truth and what really the Commander of the Guard wanted from her. I now she was telling the truth that day, but sometimes I wonder if I should have followed her and Onyx to wherever they going, but in my heart told me to stay here and see what happens. It's been a year and a half since I last saw and spoken to Scarlett, I heard rumors that Scarlett was up north and fighting with Lightmare and Onyx to keep Malefor's forces away from Northern Light City and the northern lands, but these are just rumors they can be true or false or neither. Whatever the case is, I can't seem to get Scarlett out of my head. Whenever I think about her, my heartbeat quickens and beats hard like a drum and the same happens whenever I dream of her too, I knew what these feelings were and I plan to tell Scarlett about them as well whenever I saw her again. Onyx was right about one thing; Scarlett was definitely a unique and beautiful dragoness to see and talk to, and I knew one thing to. I wanted Scarlett to be part of my life, forever. But that's only if I ever see her again or ever.

With feelings aside, I'm now part of the Warfang Spy group and I'm now the Lieutenant of the group and fourth in command of the spy group thanks to Guild master Blade for trusting me and such. You know for an old mole like him, I was glad to work with him as a friend and fellow spy. He was much different than the Commander of the Guard ever was; Blade was calm, collective, smart, quiet, and funny too. He could make the whole room laugh with tears coming down our faces and muzzles, but we still enjoyed it never the less. With my being the spy Lieutenant, my skills and abilities have approved over the last year and a half, and still continuing to approve. But any way, I've been given a task from Guild master Blade to look and find this "unknown" dragon or whoever the hell it is that's been requesting me to meet him in person. I don't know who this dragon or dragoness is, but I get a funny feeling that it might be somebody that I have met before, I'm hoping it's Scarlett, but a dragon can dream can't he. Whoever this dragon/dragoness is who wants to meet me in person or whatever the hell they want to talk about with me, I'm definitely looking forward to this "unknown" meeting between us.
