A/N: Flashback chapter. This chapter is a glimpse into how Davis found her way to Bravo team. Let me know what you think!

"Well, well, well look who decided to actually answer her damn phone." Sonny chuckles.

"Listen Quinn, I'm busy." Lisa huffs. "What the hell do you want. Or is your separation anxiety getting bad again?"

"Ya know Davis, I could die at any time and that is how ya talk to me. That's a real shame."

"Oh, I am so very sorry." Lisa says in an extra high-pitched voice.

"That's better." Sonny laughs. "How's life been without me there to spice it up?"

"Quiet." Lisa says.

"Fine, don't admit just how much ya miss me." Sonny says.

"Of course, I miss you Sonny. But you're not dead you just went to DEVGRU." Lisa reminds him.

"Are ya tellin me ya have already replaced me with some other cowboy SEAL?" Sonny asks.

"No Sonny. You know you're irreplaceable." Lisa retorts starting to get annoyed with him. "Did you call me just to say hi? Because I'm really busy."

"I actually did have somethin I wanted to talk to ya bout." Sonny tells her.

"And what might that be Quinn?"

"Well, our team logistics is gettin out. Which means that spot is open." Sonny says hopefully.

"Are you telling me I should follow you to Virigina Beach. Sonny, I wouldn't even follow a guy I was dating across the country."

"I see you're point, but we aren't datin and ya never have to worry bout me breakin up with ya. You're always gonna be my best friend. Sonny and Davis, BFFs for life." Sonny chuckles.

"You do have an ability to always make me smile." Lisa chuckles.

"See, that alone is a good reason to try and get that job." Sonny points out.

"I'll think about it." Lisa tells him. "But hey, listen, I really have to go. It's crazy busy here."

"Don't work too hard Davis. I'm not there to force ya to party a little."

"Bye Sonny."

"Bye Lisa."

Two Months Later

"This job is already having perks." Lisa chuckles as her and Sonny unpack her new apartment. "This is my first solo apartment since I joined up."

"See." Sonny points at her. "I told ya this move would be good for ya. Ya can live off base, more relaxed groomin standards, higher pay and the general don't fuck with me that comes with bein part of DEVGRU."

"It's not like I am a SEAL Sonny."

"Clearly." He says throwing a ball of tape at her.

"Hey." She squeals.

"I know that smart ass, but that doesn't mean that people won't treat ya different. They know not to mess with ya." Sonny tells her.

"We will see about that." Lisa shakes her head. "I haven't even met the team yet. What if they don't like me?"

"Stop it." Sonny sits next to her on the sofa. "They are gonna love ya. Just like all of the guys on team two and four did."

Lisa rests her head on his shoulder. "But what if they don't?"

"Davis, stop thinkin so low of yourself. You're damn good at your job and you're fun to be around."

Lisa narrows her eyes at him. "Are you just telling me that."

"God, you're such a pain in the ass sometimes." Sonny chuckles.

"So, you're not just telling me that." Lisa watches him roll his eyes at her. "Okay, fine Sonny. I believe you."

"Thank ya." Sonny chuckles. "Now, as much as I would love to stay here and help ya unpack, we got some drills.

"Fine abandon me." Lisa pouts.

"Don't even. Besides, ya get to experience the Bulkhead for the first time tonight." Sonny says standing up. "I'll text ya when I'm on my way back here."

"Get out of my house Quinn." Lisa laughs.

"Alright Davis, ya ready?" Sonny asks as he pulls into the Bulkhead parking lot.

"As I'll ever be." Lisa tells him.

"Let's do this." Sonny says opening the door to his truck. "Hey guys." Sonny says to the rest of Bravo team after they walked up to the group.

"Sonny boy." Jason says extending his hand to shake Sonny's. "Is this our amazing new logistics that you haven't shut up about since she got the job?"

"That would be correct." Sonny looks to his right where Davis is standing. "Jason Hayes, Lisa Davis."

Jason extends his hand to Lisa. "It is nice to meet you, Lisa Davis."

"It's nice to meet you too." Lisa returns his handshake.

"So, Jason is the team leader." Sonny tells Davis. He turns his gaze to Ray. "And this is Ray, he's 2IC."

"It's nice to meet you, Ray." Lisa smiles.

"Like wise." Ray raises his beer towards Davis. "Now, let me ask you why in the hell are you best friends with Sonny?"

Jason sits next to Ray. "Yeah, were there no other options?"

Lisa sits across from Ray and Jason. "Awe, he's not that bad."

"Davis." Ray says looking her dead in the eyes.

"Thank you, Sonny." Lisa says taking the beer he was handing her. "I will say that I wasn't terribly impressed when I first met him, but he grew on me."

Sonny sits next to Lisa. "I see y'all were hatin on the magic that is Sonny Quinn while I was gone."

"We were just trying to figure out what she saw in you. I mean you talked the woman into moving to Bob Beach after all." Jason tells him.

"I would like to think she came all this way because her life felt incredibly empty without me in it." Sonny looks over at Davis. "But I'm pretty sure she just did it for her career."

"Sonny's right I do feel like it is a good move for my career. It was also time for a change." Lisa shrugs.

"You two are close." Ray says watching the two.

"Geez Ray way to charge right through the china shop." Jason laughs.

"What?" Ray shakes his head. "I can hear the rumors now."

"As you guys will come to see." Lisa pauses. "Sonny and I are best friends and that's it. We are really close, and we lost boundaries a couple of years ago. But there is zero attraction between us."

"I second that." Sonny says taking a swig of his beer.

"Interesting." Jason nods. "Well, as long as you guys are always honest with me, I will always have you backs."

"Thank you, Jason." Lisa smiles.

"Now on to a more pressing matter." Jason chuckles. "I need to watch you kick this cowboy's ass at darts."

"Woah, woah." Sonny interjects.

"No problem. I'm sure Sonny's pride could use a good old-fashioned Davis ass whooping." Lisa laughs.

"Let's do this thing." Ray laughs.
