Well, here's the long waited chapter that everybody has been hoping and waiting for, and sorry for not updating too. Spring, Summer, and Fall were just so damn busy for me that I could barely write and stuff, so hopeful this chapter makes up for it. Today is also my 25th birthday and decided to post this chapter up on it, which was something I always wanted to do, and now I did it.
In the previous chapter I did say I was going to explain how Cynder would be able to switch back and forth between her adult form and her 15 year old teenage dragon form, this chapter didn't really focus on her, as she is only mentioned by name by several characters and such. So, I'll explain it in the next chapter, as Cynder is facing off against Ember in it, can't wait for that one.
Before my readers, fans, and fellow authors/writers even ask me when the next chapter will be posted up, it will be posted up whenever I feel like it. Because right now, the next chapter isn't really anywhere near done, and with it being winter up here in Alberta, Canada and winter staying for the next few months. It will give me time to write and such, you guys won't be seeing the next chapter for some time.
Also I am creating two new stories next year, one for Wings of Fire-Tui T. Sutherland about Winter x Moonwatcher which will be a one shot maybe more who knows, I have all the books in the series and just recently per-ordered Wings of Fire: Talons of Power, which means I'm all caught up in the series now. The final one being for Spyro, I'm not going to revel very much information about it, because right now it's still a work in progress and I'm still deciding whether or not to post it up. The Attack Of The Dragon's
Spyro, Inferno, Sapphire, & Onyx Vs Flame & Clone Hunter
Spyro the Purple Dragons Part.
Location: Outside of Warfang's main southern gate, just a mile away from Warfang.
Time: 40 minutes into the fight.
As Spyro dodged more and more of Flame's giant fireballs and Clone Hunter's arrows, as he disappeared to evade the attacks and he then reappeared and countered back by firing five large ice shards towards his enemies, Flame and Clone Hunter. The ice shards came fast and hard towards them, but both Flame and Clone Hunter dodge them as the ice shards behind them stroke the ground hard and created a large explosion of dirt and dust. Spyro then fired five medium sized fireballs towards both Flame and Clone Hunter. After Spyro finished his elemental attack, he then disappeared into thin air as Flame and Clone Hunter didn't pay any attention to him. As Flame and Clone Hunter saw the five medium sized fireballs coming towards them fast, they both stopped as Flame opened his red scaled muzzle and decided he was going to counter the attack with his own. As he started building up his elemental power of fire, he sudden noticed that the five medium sized fireball started flashing brighter and brighter as it got very close to them.
"Something's wrong here, usually when Spyro attacks us he plans them correctly and carefully. And also, these five medium sized fireballs can be easily countered by my own giant fireball, but these ones are flashing brighter and brighter as they get near us, unless it's a TRAP!"
As just Flame was about to counter the upcoming attack, it was too late to act for Flame, the five medium sized fireballs had reached him and glowed brighter than the setting sun. The five fireballs exploded each one just as big and bright as the first one, the explosions created waves hot heat, air, and large blackness smoke as dark as the night skies itself. Luckily for Clone Hunter, he managed to escape the attack without much damage; however his cap wasn't so lucky. Clone Hunter reached back and just ripped away his cap from his main clothing and threw it on the ground as it was on fire. As for Flame, he jumped out of the thickness of the dark smoke cloud and he was badly injured from the attack and had fire damage to his red scales and was now floating in the air while thinking silently to himself.
"That was too close to call, if I'd had been in the middle of that attack it would have killed me. And not to mention, I just had to use the spell of Ultimate Protection right before that attack happened, the spell only ten minutes and I've already used eight minutes, and I there's only a minute and 30 seconds left in the spell. So, I better use it wisely and not recklessness, another problem is Spyro is one tough son of a bitch and that attack was certainly wasn't his own, which means somebody trained him to use that attack if he ever faced an powerful opponent which in this case was me. The attack he used on us I believe was called, The Five Medium Fireballs Explosion, the attack was created to fire five medium sized fireballs to make the attack fast and hard to dodge or even counter against it and its greatest ability yet was the ability for the attack was to explode when the attack neared its target and kills the enemy instantly and burning the body away until it was nothing, but ash and dust. I know there are more abilities to it, but that's the only one I know and only one dragoness I know is the creator and master of it, and that's the new Guardian Of Fire herself, Fire the dragoness."
He stopped thinking to himself and got back to the matter at hand, capturing Spyro alive and taking him to Ember. Flame turned his red scaled head forward to look for Spyro, but instead was shocked and surprised to find that Spyro had reappeared directly in front of him and saw that Spyro pull back his right purple scaled paw and witnessed Spyro turn his white claws into a fist like appeal and then saw Spyro had launched his right paw directly into the right side of his red scaled muzzle and felt the impact and the pain from Spyro's punch to his muzzle which sent him flying several yards away from Spyro. As Flame was sent flying to the ground, he thought shockingly to himself.
"He used the attack as a decoy, and then used the power to disappear and then reappear again to attack me directly! That's impossible!"
Flame landed hard into the ground and which in turn created a large cloud of dirt dust into the air and a large impact was created into the ground as well. Spyro landed safety on the ground until he heard the sound of a string of the bow being pulled back and turned his purple head towards Clone Hunter's location and saw him ready to attack him in which he did. The arrow came towards quickly and fast, luckily Spyro managed to dodge the attack and then powered up his Earth element power and fired an earth shot towards Clone Hunter who just barely managed to dodge it and saw Spyro launch another attack towards him this time of the electric element. Clone Hunter started doing back flips to avoid Spyro's lightning attack; however the lightning that was coming towards him was fast and stroke his bow quickly. He stopped doing his back flips and instantly dropped his bow so the lightning attack didn't kill or strike him, but for his bow however the lightning attack was too much for the bow to handed and burned away quickly, leaving nothing but ashes and burnt string. Clone Hunter looked up from his destroyed bow which now was nothing but ash and looked towards Spyro and glowered in anger as he reached for his short sword from his left side and brought it up as the silver blade shined in the sunlight and then pointed the short sword towards Spyro.
As Spyro was about to move, he find out he couldn't move. He tried and tried to move his legs, but he couldn't. He looked down and saw plant like vines wrapped around his front and hind legs to the ground and saw that the vines came from underground somewhere. He looked back up and looked over his right shoulder and saw Flame behind him smirking and then to Spyro's surprise the plant like vines had lead up to Flame, which meant Flame used a spell on him when he wasn't paying any attention to him. Spyro looked forward and saw Clone Hunter still pointing his short sword at him, but he didn't move which meant he was waiting for Flame's orders on what to do. Spyro looked down at the vines that were holding down and tried again to move, but it was useless. As he continued to struggle to get out of this solution, Flame smiled smartly to himself and laughed at Spyro's attempt to escape from the vines that were holding him down.
"It's no use Spyro, those vines are meant to keep you there. There's no escaping this Spyro, it's useless." Flame said coldly to Spyro, who just continued to struggle some more while Flame thought silently to himself.
"And not to mention I added another spell onto the vine spell as well. The spell I used on the vines which are connected with Spyro's legs, should cancel out his elemental powers of lightning and earth. However, his element powers of fire and ice, will be the only elements he can use against me and Clone Hunter, which means Spyro still has a bit of an edge over me and Clone Hunter as well. Well, you can't get what you want all the time, but this should be good enough to take Spyro down."
As Flame started walking slowly towards his enemy to finish him off, Spyro stopped struggling for a moment and then sudden thought of a way to break these cursed vines off him for good.
"Come on Spyro, think, think. I've had this happen to me before when my older brother was training me in Northern Light City on to handle vine like plant spells and how to get rid of them. I can't use fire on the vine's holding me down, because certain and powerful vine like spells have a bit of the water element to them, so the fire element is out of the question. Earth element is out as well, because that would be like fighting fire with fire. Lightning element won't work either, because with me standing above the ground and the vines attached to all four of my legs and with the vines underground with the other dirt and earthly materials below me. My lightning element would mostly strike me instead and shock me to death or even worse permanently knock me out and put me into a coma for life. And that's not a chance I'm willingly to take, so lightning is out too. This just leaves Ice, my family's natural birth element. From what Light told me ice acts like death for plant life and can easily kill it in a matter of seconds due to the ice elements extremely and dangerous cold temperatures and its deadly freezing abilities . Which means, If I use ice on the vines and freeze it to the point when the vines are harden as the toughest steel, I should be able to break the frozen vines and be able to escape. It's worth a shot; let's see if my plan can work. Thank you Light, for the hard training you put me though as well."
Spyro stopped struggling and started to calm down and focus on the matter at hand, he closed his purple eyes and started using his ice elemental powers to freeze the vines that were holding him down and let the ice element work its magic. Flame saw this happen and stopped walking forwards towards Spyro and saw that Spyro had stopped struggling and was more calm and relaxed now, but Flame didn't like this one bit at all, neither did Clone Hunter as well.
"Hmm, he's stopped struggling now and is more relaxed and calm now. Something's up with Spyro alright, If I'm correct he's probably already figured out now he can't use two of his elemental powers, but I could be wrong as well. In which case."
Flame opened his jaws and started charging up his fire element which slowly started turning into a fireball and then aimed it's projector towards Spyro as the fireball slowly was increasing in size and strength. Spyro on other the hand was able to focus on his elemental powers of ice and managed to freeze the entire vines that where holding him down and with all of his strength that he could mister up. He broke free from his imprisonment as the vines covered in frozen ice shattered into a millions of pieces and landed softly on the grassy ground. As Spyro was free and moving his legs slowly, but surely he looked over his entire body to make sure no real damage was done to him while he was imprisoned by vines. As Spyro finished his inspection of his body, he didn't notice that Flame's fireball had grown into a giant fireball and was ready to be fired. Flame had finished charging up his giant fireball and finally launched it towards Spyro, his main target. Spyro thought of attacking Clone Hunter first and getting him out of the picture, he sudden felt a very warming and blazing heat coming from behind him and this made Spyro worried very much. As he turned around he saw a giant fireball coming towards him and it was fast as well. Spyro started charging up his Earth element, but nothing came out not even a single earth shot was present, he then tried his lightning element as well, but just like his Earth element nothing came out either. Spyro was worried and shocked that he couldn't use his Earth or Lightning elements, he started to panic as the giant fireball was drawing closer and closer towards him. Spyro then calmed down a bit and thought of something to do to stop this incoming attack that would surely injurie him or even worse, kill him.
"Flame must have had added another spell onto the vine spell that was attached to my legs early. So, the spell he must have used on me was, "The Cancellation of the Elementals" which cancels any elemental powers or spells from being used in battles or fights, in other words the dragon/dragoness that is hit with this spell is instantly unable to use their elemental powers or spells in their battle or fights against the dragon or other beings who wield it, in which case the dragon/dragoness just becomes a plain and ordinarily dragon without their element powers or spells by their side, the only thing they would have would be their melee training taught to them by their masters or parents. But this is only a spell though, nothing like the real thing though, which means the real power of Cancel is ten times more powerful than that of the spell here is. The spell of Cancellation, can do only about half of the real thing, the spell chooses up to one to three elemental powers to cancel out, while the real power of Cancel can do even more badly. Which means I won't be able to counter the giant fireball that Flame sent towards me with my Earth or Lightning element powers, If I use my wings though to defend myself the from the giant fireball attack, I should be fine I hope.
With that Spyro wrapped his golden orange wings around himself while closing his purple eyes and braced for the impact from the giant fireball. As Spyro waited for impact, he didn't notice an adult like dragon figure jump right front of him and lift his purple paw up and a light blue barrier came surrounding the adult dragon figure and Spyro as the giant fireball struck the barrier hard and fast, which exploded on impact. The explosion created a very large cloud of black smoke and fire in the sky which could be seen for miles around, and covered the entire area where the dragons and cheetah were battling in as well. Both Flame and Clone Hunter watched and waited for the black smoke to disappear and clear away to see if Spyro took the attack or dodged it, but they had to wait for the black smoke to clear off first though.
As the black smoke slowly, but surely started clearing away both Flame and Clone Hunter gasped in shock and had a look of surprise written on their muzzles as they saw an adult dragon sized figure appear before them with Spyro behind the adult dragon figure and with his eyes still closed. Flame looked closer at the adult dragon standing in front of him and Cone Hunter, up and down then side to side; Flame looked at little closer at the adult dragon as the black smoke finally cleared away from view. As soon as he saw purple scales, he knew instantly who this adult dragon was as he narrowed his yellow eyes in anger. The adult dragon had purple scales and had a bright red underbelly, has a muscular built body, had two pairs of razor sharp horns sprouting from his head, his tail blade has a double edge steel blade, tail is long and has massive wings that looked powerful, and the most interesting feature about him was his flashing blue eyes. Flame continued to grow in anger at this strong adult dragon and then spoke his name in anger and hatred.
"It's been a long while, hasn't it Inferno the dragon!" Inferno looked at Flame and Clone Hunter with equal hate and venom as well.
"More like three years, Flame? Ever since me and Sapphire came upon you, Ember, and Clone Hunter burning down the Hope hospital and trying to kill us, you must be shocked to find out that I survived the attack and judging from the look on your and Clone Hunter's face early. I'd say I must be right!" Inferno said in a hard tone of voice, while Flame growled even more in anger and hatred towards this dragon as Clone Hunter was stand and listen.
Spyro opened his wings from his head and returned them to his sides, and opened his purple eyes to see what was happening before him. What he saw though, was what really surprised him. Standing in front of him was his purple friend, Inferno. Spyro continued to look at Inferno in shock, but he quickly shook his head side to side and decided to speak out to him.
"Inferno, what are doing here?" Inferno looked over his right shoulder and looked down at Spyro, and spoke back nicely to him, "Hey Spyro, how have you been doing so far? Good, I hope."
Inferno looked right back at Flame and Clone Hunter, while Spyro looked from Inferno towards his enemies for a few seconds, before looking back towards Inferno who was standing right in front of him.
"I was doing fine and good, until Flame used that spell of "The Cancellation of the Elementals" on me, but other than that I'm doing perfectly fine. That still doesn't explain what you're doing here though, Inferno?" Spyro said questioningly.
Inferno looked back over his right shoulder at Spyro and smiled a bit, while Spyro raised his right eye brow in question, "Oh, I just thought I'd pop in the neighborhood and help you take out the trash." To which he with his longest claw gestured towards Flame and Clone Hunter who just glowered even more in anger as Inferno added more words in, "That why I'm here for, Spyro."
Spyro smiled at Inferno, and then spoke back to him kindly and questioningly, "But if you're here with me, then where's Sapphire at then?"
Flame however couldn't take it any more insults from Inferno any longer, as Clone Hunter tried to stop him from attacking Inferno, but it was no use as Flame had suddenly charged up a another giant fireball quickly, he then fired it directly towards Inferno and Spyro. Inferno turned his purple scaled head quickly forward and saw a giant fireball quickly coming towards him and Spyro, and it was coming fast and would soon hit them if he doesn't come up with a plan soon. Inferno started charging up his own giant fireball to counter against Flame's giant fireball, but he then saw a giant ball of water coming in fast as it struck against Flame's giant fireball hard and both attacks colluded together creating a large explosion of steam around the battlefield which made visibility hard to see though. Inferno stopped charging up his attack, looked around the battlefield for signs of Flame and Clone Hunter, but all he saw was steam. As the steam started to fade away slightly from view, both Inferno and Spyro heard a loud thud on the ground on their left side, both of them turned their heads to the left to see if it was a new enemy or friend.
As the last of the steam faded away from their view, both Inferno and Spyro saw a dragoness standing before them all to see and witness. The dragoness before them had bright blues scales, a very well rounded body with muscular legs and wings. Both Inferno and Spyro sighed softly to themselves knowing it was just a friend to them and not an enemy, Spyro then spoke softly to the bright blue scaled dragoness.
"Sapphire, you made it." Sapphire turned her attention to Spyro and her boyfriend, Inferno and looked at them kindly and smiled towards them, "Indeed, I did make it. Did I miss some ass kicking?"
Both Inferno and Spyro looked at each other questioningly and confusedly for a few short seconds, before looking back towards Sapphire.
"Hum, no!" Inferno said confusedly to Sapphire while looking quickly to Spyro then to his girlfriend, while Spyro added his own words plainly, "Matter of fact you're a little bit late."
Sapphire smiled and laughed a bit, before looking towards Flame and Clone Hunter with coldness in her eyes. Inferno and Spyro looked at Flame and Clone Hunter as well and started to think of ways to defeat them, hopeful quick and painlessly.
"I see Flame hasn't changed much in the last three years. Haven't you?" She said in a hard tone of voice towards Flame, who just snorted in annoyance.
"I see you survived as well, Sapphire. I thought for sure that Ember killed you with that spell that she used on you that day. A shame really, she should have just killed you fast and quick, but I guess she wanted you to die slowly and painlessly."
Sapphire snorted as well, but didn't back down or look away from Flame, and spoke back to him in a hard and cold tone of voice, "Well, sorry to disappoint you Flame, but I'm alive and still kicking some ass. Ember may have tried to kill me three years ago, but she failed in that aspect didn't she, Flame!"
Flame and Clone Hunter just glowered in anger at Sapphire's words until Inferno looked towards his girlfriend, and then spoke calmly and softly to her, "Sapphire enough please, quit edging him on so much. The last thing we need from him is him going ape shit and attacking us until we are dead and gone. So, stop with the insults."
Sapphire sighed softly to herself and looked to her right and saw her boyfriend Inferno looking back at her with a smile before they turned back towards Flame and Clone Hunter, deciding on what to do with them. Sapphire looked at Flame and began looking over his red scaled body in search of damage, blood, claw marks, or anything related to damage, but his entire body was non-damaged until Sapphire spotted some burn damage near his stomach area and it looked badly damaged as well, which meant there would be some scaring later on. As she continued studying Flame's body for signs of damage, many more damage started to appear on his body as claw marks started to appear, fire and ice element damage, and a nasty deep purple mark was also starting to appear on Flame's muzzles, where Spyro must have of hit him early in the fight.
"So, Flame did use the spell of, "The Body Of Protection". A spell designed to take any damage to just about anything, falling from high mountain pecks to taking on a fully elemental fury attack from a dragon/dragoness. Light told me that the spell lasts only about to ten minutes or less, depending on how skilled the user of it is. And judging from on how Flame used it early in his fight with Spyro, he definitely mastered it to some degree. So Flame must have used it when the fight reached the 35 minute mark, in other words ten minutes have passed already and that means Flames spell is now wearing off, which is good for us. I don't know if Flame knows this or not, but the spell can only be used once, and it comes with a nasty side effect, the loss of your energy. Flame, you probably have already reached your limit, and probably only good for three or two moves left in your fight, keep pushing yourself some more and you'll die. That spell you used Flame maybe good and all, but it's a double edged sword as well, the more damage you take the more the after effects of the damage start to appear on your body, making yourself tired and near death."
After studying Flame as his spell wore off, she turned her full attention on Clone Hunter and noticed right away he was missing his bow; she looked down at his right paw and saw him holding his short sword with the blades tip pointing towards them. She looked back up at Clone Hunter's face and thought of something to herself in her head.
"Hmm, I wonder?"
Sapphire looked to her left and stared at Spyro who had his attention directly on Flame and watched his every move, but she needed ask something him important, "Hey Spyro?" Spyro turned his attention from Flame towards Sapphire and noticed her looking back at Clone Hunter and studying him some more, but he might as well answer her call, "What is it, Sapphire that you want?"
"I have to ask you something, has Clone Hunter talked at all through your fight with him and Flame?" She asked Spyro questioningly. Spyro and Inferno both looked at her weirdly and questioningly as well as Flame and Clone Hunter narrowed their eyes at her in anger, until Spyro spoke back to her that is, "No not really, he's mostly been quiet throughout the fight, just only growingly and stuff. Why are you asking?"
"So what Light told me was true, Clone Hunter has lost the ability to talk after all due to the side effects of being cloned from their original counterparts."
Sapphire continued to look at Clone Hunter as Inferno looked at her questioningly and decided to ask her about it, "Why are you asking for something like that, Sapphire? That's kind of weird for you to ask."
Sapphire looked at him and smiled, "Oh just thought I'd ask. That's not too much to ask is it?" She turned her blue scaled head back and stared at Clone Hunter some more as he continued to look at her questioningly still and did not believe one word that she said to him.
"Sapphire, I've known you for a long time now and I don't believe one word that you said to me there. That face you made when you looked at Clone Hunter by studying him tells me, that you know something that I or Spyro don't know of yet. Whatever it is, I'll let it slip this time only because I love you and want to protect you from harm."
Inferno turned his attention back to Flame and Clone Hunter watched them for a moment or two. As he watched them, Flame lifted his right red scaled paw to his face and noticed the battle marks had started to appear before his very eyes.
"Damnit, the spell has worn off now. And the damage that I reserved from our fight with Spyro is starting to show and make itself known now; my body and energy are reaching their limits now as well. If I keep pushing myself any more, I'll be sure to die. I've only got about three moves left in me, I just don't have the stamina to continue on and not to mention my elemental power of fire is at its limit as well."
Flame noticed his legs were starting to shake slowly and tiredly and felt his body starting to become sore all over, as he lowered his right paw back to the ground and then winced from the pain before looking towards his emenies.
"My body is definitely reaching it's limit, my legs are shaking from being tired and over used, my body is sore as hell, and my vision is becoming burly as well. I don't have much left in me, but I'd better attack them first before they attack and kill me. I only thought me and Clone Hunter were only fighting Spyro alone, what I didn't expect was for him to have back up come and help him. I have to hand it to you Spyro, you have some loyal friends and family their by your side and I'm jealousy of that. You actually have a family by your side, while I only had my mother by mine and after she was taking away from me from this world. I can't bare to see others with their family any more, that's why I joined with Ember and we're going to change the world for the better. No more happy families, no more happy lives, and if I can't have a happy family then nobody in this hellish world can either!"
Flame then started charging up another giant fireball and focused all of his element power in it, as he did this Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro all looked at him and were ready to counter it if need be.
"He's getting ready for another giant fireball, be ready to counter it Sapphire." Spyro told her calmly to which she just nodded yes, while Inferno added his very own words, "So, how do we separate tweedy dee from tweedle dumb, huh?"
Sapphire still looked at Flame and then to Clone Hunter, and spoke back to him nicely, "That's the million dollar question isn't it?" Spyro looked at the giant fireball as it slowly was growing in size and power as he too spoke out, "Well, whatever we're planning to do we'd better do it fast, because that giant fireball is slowly increasing in size and strength."
Inferno looked towards Clone Hunter and studied for him for a moment until a light bulb popped into his head and then thought to himself, "I've got it!"
"I have an idea on how to separate them from each other, and it might just work too." He said suddenly to Sapphire and Spyro as they turned their scaled heads towards him and looked at him questionable.
"You said "might" work, Inferno? What exactly is this plan of yours?" Sapphire asked him questionable, as he looked back at her.
"I have a spell that I created last year known as, "Paralyzing Claws"." Inferno said calmly to Sapphire and Spyro, as he lifted up his left paw and showed them his claws growling a pale yellow before lowering his paw back down to the ground as he continued explaining his plan to them, "If I can stick, cut, or even slash them into Clone Hunter's body, it will completely paralyze his entire body and he won't be able to move for the entire day or even week if we're lucky that is. Clone Hunter will be out of the way, and then we can deal with Flame personal."
All three of them turned to look at Flame and saw the giant fireball was at medium sized right now, but was slowly increasing in power and strength as it continues to grow. Sapphire and Spyro looked back at Inferno as he looked towards them once more, while Sapphire spoke out her concern for him, "Are you sure you want to use that spell here of all places? The last time you used that spell was when you were training on how use it in your future battles and fights then it backfired on you and paralyzed you and knocked you out for the entire day."
"I know that, Sapphire. But if Light and they can use spells in battles or fights. Then why can't I?" Inferno said questioningly to her, as she countered back with her very own words, "That's because Light and they are creators and masters of spells, and had more experience with them then you do, Inferno! I mean you just created the spell last year and your still at an apprentice levelwith it as well."
Inferno looked at Sapphire with an annoyed look on his scaled face and spoke out, "I'm actually at expected level with it, not apprentice." Sapphire gave him also an annoyed look as well and was not happy with his words, "Look smartass, the point is Light and they are masters and have more experience with them, while you on the other paw are a expect with it and created only one spell so far. My concern Inferno is that, this spell could again backfire and hit you instead and you'd be knocked out and paralyzed, if should Flame and Clone Hunter pick up on it they'll kill you fast and quick, and me and Spyro won't be able to save you in time. That's my concern with this spell of yours, I just don't want lose you Inferno, I really don't want lose you."
Inferno looked at Sapphire for a few moments before looking towards Flame and seeing his giant fireball was nearly reaching its final size, he looked back at Sapphire and signed softly to himself while he spoke out kindly to his girlfriend, "Look, I know you're worried about me I really do, Sapphire, but you have to believe in me that this will work in the end. That's all I ask for Sapphire, is that you'll believe in me. That's all I ask for?"
Sapphire closed her eyes and signed softly and sadly to herself for a few moments, before opening up her eyes and looking at Inferno with happiness and concern in her eyes, "Alright I'll believe in you, my Inferno. Let's make this crazy plans of yours work."
Both Inferno and Sapphire smiled and looked at each other for a while, while Spyro being the third wheel who was listening and looking at them back and forth decided to break the cute moment, because Flame's giant fireball had just reached its final stage and size, "I hate to break the moment here you two, but I kind of don't want my ass to burst into flames here, thank you very much."
Inferno, Spyro, and Sapphire turned their attention towards Flame and saw the giant fireball was indeed finished and was aimed towards them, and then Inferno thought of something quick to say as he turned to look at Sapphire.
"Hey Sapphire, you think you could charge up a giant water ball and use against Flame's giant fireball." He said hastily to her, as she looked back at him and smirked, "I see, you want both attacks to create steam around the area and then use it to your advantage. Nice thinking there, Inferno. I think I could charge up another giant water ball for you, but you'd better ready, Inferno."
Inferno looked at Flame and lifted his left paw up to his friends viewing eyes as his claws glowed pale yellow as the spell was ready use in battle before looking back towards Sapphire and Spyro while smiling, "I'm always ready, Spyro as soon as the steam hits the area surrounding us. I want you to attack fast and hard, but do it quick otherwise Flame will be sure to pick up on what we're up to, alright?"
Spyro gave him small smile and winked at him, "Can do Inferno." Sapphire opened her muzzle and large amounts of water started to form fast and quick into a giant water ball, as it continued to grow fast and quick, Flame then fired his giant fireball towards them and it was coming quite fast as well. Luckily Sapphire's giant water ball was formed just in time and launched it towards Flame's giant fireball. As this happened, Inferno saw Clone Hunter running towards them with his short sword in his right paw and he looked to be pissed as well.
"Not a bad idea there, Clone Hunter, but I think you didn't it too soon."
Inferno looked towards the giant element powers of fire and water as they soon collided into each other and creating very large clouds of steam around the entire area making visibility hard to see. Clone Hunter stopped dead in his tracks as he looked around the area and looking where for his enemies were hiding at, Flame did the same as well, but couldn't find any one there neither. Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro decided now was the time to put Inferno's plan into action.
"Alright, I'm off." He said calmly to them as he suddenly just disappeared into thin air from their view, Sapphire looked at Spyro as he did the same to her as well, "Alright Spyro, I'll attack again and this time you follow it up, got that?"
Spyro smiled at her and nodded, "You bet, Sapphire."
Spyro then lifted his right purple scaled paw into the air and with his longest claw pointing up, he then started to spin his right paw into circles as a large tornado started to appear, but this just wasn't your average tornado either, it was one of ice. As Spyro continued to spin to his right paw faster and faster as the tornado of ice was becoming more visible by every second, Sapphire had charged up her water element as well as multiply water spears started to appear around her and there were many of them too. As she finished charging up her water attack, she lifted her right blue scaled paw into the air and then moved it forward as fast as she could as the multiply water spears rushed forwards toward their target which was hopeful, Flame.
"I hope one of them strikes you Flame."
"Alright Spyro, you're up next now!" She said normally to Spyro, as she saw Spyro had already finished up charging his attack. The tornado of ice was spinning fast and was making her scales feel cold too, the ice on the tornado was a beautiful site to see and witness as it spun around faster and faster, but at the same time it was just as deadly as any other attack out there. Spyro then launched his right paw forward and the large tornado of ice then spun fast and quick on the ground as it was spinning towards its target, which was Flame as well. As the large tornado of ice was speeding its way towards Flame, Sapphire noticed that the tornado was freezing the ground and the area around it as spun towards the target.
"That should keep Flame busy for a bit, hopeful Inferno does good as well." Sapphire said concernedly to Spyro, has he smiled a bit at her too, "I'm sure he's doing just fine, Sapphire. Don't worry, he'll make it work just you wait."
With Inferno
As Clone Hunter continued looking around for Spyro and his friends, he thought he saw a shadow in front of him and swung his short sword at it and it disappeared from his sight. He continued swinging away with his short sword at the shadows that were suddenly appearing and then disappearing, he didn't even notice Inferno coming up behind him and then struck his claws straight into Clone Hunter's back as blood came rushing out and landed on Inferno's body while Clone Hunter suddenly dropped his short sword to the ground and staying still as he looked behind him and saw Inferno with his claws stuck in his back as blood continued to run down his back and on Inferno's claws and purple scales. He looked down behind him at Inferno's claws and saw that they were glowing pale yellow, he then knew what this was it was a spell. Clone Hunter looked back at Inferno and growled in anger as Inferno suddenly ripped his claws out of Clone Hunter's back as he saw the clone try to attack him, but he easily dodged it and then saw Clone Hunter try to walk towards him, but then he suddenly stopped and tried to move his body forward, but nothing was happening and this made Clone Hunter mad as hell as he saw Inferno walk up to him and saw him stop right in front of him and then rise up his right paw in front of him and then lunched it forward. The punch hit him so hard in the face that it sent flying him into the ground several feet away from Inferno and then rolled away on the ground before he stopped rolling and was now on his side, badly hurt and wounded from his back as his vision suddenly became black and silent.
As Inferno looked at Clone Hunter several feet away from him, he turned his purple scaled head to his left and whispered to himself while his claws become white again not pale yellow, "One down, one to go."
He then ran to his left and went to find Sapphire and Spyro to make sure they will were alright and not badly hurt from Flame.
Back To Everybody Else.
Flame was starting to feel weaker and weaker as he continued to over use himself in this fight, but then he suddenly saw multiply water spears coming very fast towards him, he tried his very best to dodge them all, but one of them managed to strike him in the chest and sending him flying several feet away before he landed on all fours on the ground softly. He then felt his red scales starting to shaver from coldness near to which he felt was odd, before he looked up and saw a large tornado of ice speeding towards him on high speeds, he used his flame element on it, but the fire was deflected from the ice twister which made Flame shocked.
"That's not possibly, fire should have a greater advantage over ice any day, but this ice twister completely deflected my attack as it was nothing."
As the twister of ice neared him, it suddenly started firing multiply ice shards towards him making his eyes widen in fear as he then started dodging multiply of them as the ice shards struck the ground hard and then freezing the ground into ice right away, Flame didn't like that one bit. As he wasn't playing any attention, two ice shards struck Flame's wings and instantly they were completely frozen in ice making Flame groan in pain as the ice was working its magic on his wings. He looked forward and luckily saw the twister of ice suddenly disappear into thin air and end, making him sign to himself as he suddenly heard someone breathe in front of him. He looked up and saw Inferno with his right paw and saw it coming down towards him in attack; he managed to dodge it as Inferno's right paw struck the ground hard and had created a small hole in the ground where he was standing before. Flame then countered back with his own attack and fired his spell of Cancellation at Inferno which struck him in the chest and saw Inferno groan in pain as his elements were being randomly chosen to be cancelled and never used in the fight today which made Flame smile evilly as he landed several feet from Inferno as the steam around the area was gone and the surroundings around him were back to normal as he looked to his left and saw Sapphire and Spyro look at him, while Sapphire looked concerned and worryingly at Inferno as he continued to moan in pain.
Inferno looked down at his paws and tried not to groan or moan in pain as the spell continued to go through his elements and choosing which ones to cancel out, as the spell was working through his elements he thought to himself on the matter.
"Son of a bitch does this hurt like hell; I shouldn't have attacked Flame so carelessly then he wouldn't have used this god awful spell on me."
Inferno then looked up and saw Flame smiling at him as the spell on him was finally finished, which made Inferno starting to feel which elements the spell cancel out on him.
"Hmm, it managed to find my own power of Cancellation and cancel it out completely, my fire element is also cancelled and cannot be used, and finally my earth element is also out of the picture as well, which means if Flame attacks me with one or more giant fireballs I won't be able to counter them. Which means I'll have to dodge for now, be careful to not attack carelessly, I definitely over estimated you Flame and I won't do that again, mark my words Flame."
Flame thought it was time to finish Inferno off for good, he opened his muzzle up and two fireballs started to quickly form into two giant fireballs, and Inferno saw this happening and was starting to think of a way to dodge it, but it was late the two giant fireballs were formed quickly than expected and then Flame fired them both towards Inferno as he saw the attack coming towards him fast. Inferno then used his massive wings to shield himself for the upcoming attack as Sapphire and Spyro screamed for him to move while Flame just laughed.
"Move Inferno damn it, move!"
"It's too late for Inferno any way, three of his elements have been cancelled there's no way in hell he'll survive this attack. So it's probably best if you two just said you'll final goodbyes and farewells to him now, before he bursts into flames and turns into a pile of ash. Ha ha ha!" Flame said cruelly to Sapphire and Spyro as the two giant fireballs were coming faster and faster towards Inferno.
As the two fireballs neared Inferno, all three of them didn't notice a large adult dark dragon landed on the ground in front of Inferno and then lift his right paw into the air and formed a darkness barrier around him and Inferno as the two giant fireballs struck the dark element barrier hard and fast which again created a large explosion of black smoke and fire into the air and the surrounding area around them was covered in pitch black smoke and as Sapphire and Spyro had covered their scaled heads with their wings as Flame did the same as well. This continued for some time until the black smoke was slowly clearing away from the battle field, Sapphire and Spyro looked towards the spot where Inferno should be, but what they saw shocked them and even surprised Flame even more. All three of them saw dark adult dragon standing in front of Inferno as he had his wings still covering him, the dark adult dragon had black scales as the night sky, had a white under belly and wings, he may not look strong, but he is, has blood red eyes, and was wearing a bass chain around his neck. Inferno uncovered his wings and saw his friend, Onyx standing right in front of him, which means he took the blast of the giant fireballs for him.
"Onyx, what the hell are you doing here? I thought you and Light were back home and doing some research on something important?" He said hurray to Onyx, while the dark dragon looked over his shoulder at Inferno and grinned at the adult purple dragon.
"Oh, we were, but both Light and I sensed Ember and her gang from home and we decide to come to your aid and help you guys in your fight with Ember and her gang. Can't do it all by yourselves can you?" Onyx said lightheartedly to Inferno and his friends, as Spyro and Sapphire walked up to Inferno and Onyx and then stopping by Inferno left side.
"If you're here with us now, then that means…" Spyro asked Onyx questioningly, as the dark dragon looked down at Spyro.
"Yes, your older brother Light is on his way towards Cynder as we speak. He should be there very soon." Onyx said calmly to Spyro. However Flame was listening in as well and he opened his muzzle up again and another giant fireball was starting to form in his maw. Onyx and the others watched this happen, both Spyro and Sapphire got into their battle stances and were ready for the fight, while Inferno continued looking at Flame and then to his friend, Onyx.
"He's charging up another giant fireball again, this should be his final attack before his element power is all used up." Inferno said in a smart tone of voice to Onyx.
"Yes, I can see that Inferno. And judging from the battle damage that Flame received from you three early in the fight seems to be taking its effect on him as well." Onyx said smartly to Inferno, as the four of them saw that Flame's giant fireball was much bigger and powerful than ever before. Sapphire was in shock and disbelief at the giant fireball before her and her friends.
"Look at the size of that giant fireball, there's no way we can counter that! Not even my giant elemental water balls could stop that monster! I mean just look at it…" She said in disbelief to everybody.
"Don't give up hope." Onyx said lightly to everybody around him, Sapphire calmed down a bit and spoke softly to Onyx, "What was that you said, Onyx?" As Spyro and Inferno both looked at Onyx as well and listening to their talking.
"I said, "Don't give up hope." Just because that giant fireball is bigger and more powerful than ever, doesn't mean there aren't ways of stopping it. Never give up, Sapphire. Never give up, because if you do give up to your enemies then you'll die for sure. And besides, there is way to counter it or even stop it and I have it. So stand back, shut up, and never give up. Never!" Onyx said loudly to Sapphire and their friends, as Onyx opened his muzzle up and a dark elemental power starting to form in his mouth, Sapphire thought about what Onyx said to her and those words that he said to her just a minute ago made her smile.
"Onyx, you definitely have a way of words. I always thought of you to be the funny one in the group and you are. You always brought a smile to everyone around you, even when times were tough or sad, that was something we all needed during those three years of war with the Dark Master and his forces, everybody just needed a big damn smile and you made it happen, my dear friend. Hell, even you made us laugh when times were hard or when times were perfect, and that was the one thing I liked about you when we first met and talked at Light's home. Then, their where times when you become serious over things, like today for example. The look in your blood red eyes was serious, the look on your face and muzzle was serious, and even your body movements was serious. You're a dragon I wished that me and my Inferno could have meet years ago, but like all wishes in the real world today it never came true. But I'm glad we meet Onyx, you'll a hell of a friend to have in my life."
As Sapphire finished her thoughts, the four of them saw Flame fire the very giant fireball towards them and boy was it coming fast as well. As the fireball left Flame's mouth, Flame closed his jaws and fell to the ground in pain and soreness from his fight with Spyro and his friends, as he laid there and watching his giant fireball heading towards his enemies, he silently talked to himself as he continued to watch the event happen before him.
"That's all I have left in me. Clone Hunter and I could have easily captured Spyro alive today, but his goddamn friends had to come in and screw everything up for us. Ember's not going to like this one goddamn bit from us, we failed. And with Light on his way to help Cynder out, is only going to make things tougher from here on out. I truly hate this goddamn group of friends of Spyro's; really I do hate them for this."
As the very large giant fireball was coming fast and quickly towards Onyx and the others, Onyx felt his dark elemental powers were already and ready they were. Onyx then fired his dark elemental beam towards the very large fireball, and as soon as the dark elemental beam struck the fireball, the fireball was slowed down to great affect and while the dark elemental beam continued fighting against the fireball. The dark elemental beam then over powered the fireball and eventually cut the fireball in half as the dark beam continued its attack towards Flame himself while the cut in half fireball exploded, creating enough heat to heat up an entire town from the cold winters months and black smoke that look like large clouds of weather that was about to hit the earth. Flame saw this happen and was shocked to see his fireball cut half by Onyx's dark elemental beam, Flame moved quickly then ever to his right and dodged the attack from Onyx as the dark beam of elemental power continued on and on.
"That's impossible, Onyx's elemental power was able to overpower mine and cut it in half as if it was easy enough off swatting a fly."
As Flame wasn't paying any attention towards his enemies now, Onyx closed shut his jaws and his dark elemental beam attack was over. Onyx looked towards Flame and his blood red eyes closed half way before he disappeared from his friends view and left an after image of himself behind to fool Flame to thinking it was the real him, when at the same time it wasn't. Inferno saw this happen before with his training with Light and Onyx at Light's castle home and was now seeing it in action for the first time.
"Hmm, he pulled the same trick on me as well, during my training with him and Light. And now, he's doing the same to Flame, but only this time it's in a real fight."
As Flame stood shaking up on all fours, he noticed Onyx looking hardly at him while his friends were looking towards him as well. He slowly lifted up his left sore and tired arm up and pointed his sharp claws at Onyx as they started to grow light blue and bits of lightning coming from them. Spyro noticed this right away and turned his purple scaled head to look at both Inferno and Sapphire, before stopping and looking back towards Flame.
"Shouldn't we move or something, I don't want to end up like a lite up Christmas light." Sapphire said worriedly to both Spyro and her boyfriend, Inferno. Inferno looked towards his girlfriend and gave her half a smile.
"We'll move after the lightning spell is first fired from his claws and then dodge it. Does that sound good to you both or not?" Inferno said while looking away from his girlfriend down towards Spyro.
"Sounds just fine to me, Inferno." Spyro said to Inferno while Sapphire who was still worried for their safety and lives, just sighed to herself before looking towards her boyfriend and gave him half a smile too.
"Fine, it's better than doing nothing I guess." She said annoyed with a hint of worry in it to Inferno and Spyro.
All of them looked towards Flame and saw that his claws were growing with light blue lightning surrounding them, making the lightning spell fully charged and ready to strike them at any time and Flame did just that as well. The lightning shot straight from Flame's claws towards it intended target, Onyx. Inferno saw this and quickly shouted out to his friends.
"Move now!"
Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro all jumped quickly into the air and flew higher into the sky to get away from Flame's lightning attack, but stayed close enough to make sure Onyx their friend needed back up just in case if Flame over did it. As the lightning reached its target, the lightning went straight through Onyx and the afterimage of him faded slightly from Flame's vision and quickly reappeared on the battlefield again, as if the attack did nothing to him, making Flame shocked and surprised to find that Onyx was just an illusion to fool him into making him think that it was the real Onyx standing there and taking the attack head on, but he was wrong and was now angry as hell.
"An illusion!"
"Not quite an illusion I'm afraid, more like an afterimage of sorts." Onyx quickly said in hard tone of voice towards Flame.
Flame looked to his right and saw the real Onyx standing there looking down at him coldly, he quickly looked towards the afterimage of the fake Onyx and saw it fade from his view and the battlefield as he quickly looked back towards the real Onyx who was about to attack him right now with his right paw. Before Flame could quickly dodge the incoming attack, Onyx struck him hard and fast across his red scaled face and muzzle sending him flying several feet away from Onyx. As Flame was sent away, he quickly looked towards Onyx and saw him flying towards him for another attack and he wasn't surprised at all, just angry and badly hurt. Onyx was right in front of Flame now and reared up his right paw for incoming attack on Flame, as Onyx quickly bought down his right paw for the coming attack on Flame. Flame narrowly managed to dodge it as he hit the ground hard making him yell out in pain while Onyx's attack struck the ground hard and creating a large creator in the ground where Flame should have been, but wasn't. Onyx bought up his scaled right paw and looked at it and found no damage to it, he let his right paw back down to the ground and looked over at Flame and found him trying to stand up, but was failing at it and his four legs were shaking so much that it looked like it hurt to even stand up by the looks of it, Onyx then started walking out of the large creator in the ground towards Flame before stopping several feet away from him, making both dragons glare at each other.
Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro all landed behind Onyx as they saw both Onyx and Flame glaring at each other with intense cold and bitterness, until they heard their friend Onyx speak towards Flame, their enemy.
"Here you are on all four shaking legs and extreme pain and bloody mess, and you still want to fight and take Spyro back with you. Give it up, Flame. Because taking Spyro right now would be suicide."
Flame laughed at Onyx and his friends, but then winced in pain and was still very much shaking in pain as well, but still glared coldly and angrily at Onyx.
"Give it up, I don't think so Onyx!? I've gotten this damn far so far, I'm going to take Spyro away from you all even if I have to kill you all to do it, then so be it!"
"Don't try to butter yourself up, Flame with encouraging words to me. I will kill you Flame if you even dare to try taking Spyro from us, which I promise very much won't happen while I'm here!" Onyx angrily said to Flame.
"Oh, then let's see how you like this then!" Flame angrily yelled out towards Onyx and his friends, as he fired three medium sized fireballs from his mouth towards Onyx, Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro.
As the three medium sized fireballs neared their targets, Flame fell to the ground in extreme pain and soreness, that he could barely lift up his red scaled head up any more and witness his enemy's demise. As Flame's attack was drawing nearer and nearer towards Onyx and his friends, a large wall of ice shot straight from the ground and took the impact of Flame's attack, this caused another explosion of steam to surround the area with heat and steam again. Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro looked around the area trying to find the dragon who was responsible for the wall of ice that protected them from Flame's attack, as for Onyx though he moved his blood red eye around the area, but sensed a familiar presence near the battlefield though.
"Hmm, a wall of ice suddenly appears before us out of nowhere to protect us from Flame's attack. I only know one dragon that can do this and his presence is definitely familiar to me. Cyril."
Flame looked up slightly and saw steam everywhere around the battlefield, and couldn't find his enemies anywhere right now due to his visibility being near blind. He looked ahead of himself and saw the remains of what looked like an ice wall that took the impact of his attack and was now melting slowly, but surely making grunt in anger and in pain as well. Flame heard a loud thump hit the ground behind him, he slowly turned his head to look behind him and what he saw shocked him even more, as the last of steam disappeared around the whole area, a large adult older male ice dragon with pale blue ice scales and a purplish underbelly, with two long horns on his head, ice like fins around his shoulders, legs, and knees, and had a mace spiked tail blade stood behind Flame and was coldly glaring down at him with hate in his blue ice eyes. Flame looked back at Cyril with equal hate as well.
"Cyril, the Guardian of Ice and new Leader of the Guardians what brings you here at a time like this!? Here to save your son, how very noble and honourable of you to do so, it just makes me want to puke even more!"
"You shouldn't be saying these types of things when you're right in front of me, when you yourself is hardly in any position to do anything at all, Flame!" Cyril said coldly and angrily to Flame.
Inferno, Sapphire, and even Spyro were surprised to find that Cyril was here in person himself and that he protected them from being harmed, Inferno and Sapphire broke the silence and both said surprisingly, "What are you doing here, Master Cyril?"
As for Onyx, he wasn't surprised to find Cyril here in person. After knowing him for some years now and getting familiar with his presence, he knew Cyril wouldn't let his youngest son get captured or worse killed by the enemy.
"He made it just on time." Onyx said to himself, while Spyro was even surprised if not glad to see his father standing here and protecting him, "Onyx, what's dad doing here? I'm glad to see him helping us fight Flame and all, but shouldn't he be at the Temple in Warfang and training the younger ones?"
"He should be their training, but someone must have told him what was happening here with you." Onyx said to Spyro, while he continued looking at Cyril and Flame who were still glaring at each other with hatred in their eyes. Onyx then started thinking to himself on the solution of how Cyril got here in the first place.
"I have sneaky suspicion that Cynder was the one who sent a Royal guard to the Temple in Warfang and to tell Cyril or Fire about the solution were in right now. I'd imagine it would have been Fire herself coming down here to help us, but to have Cyril come here in person definitely surprised me today. Cynder not only are you beautiful and sexy, you're one hell of an intelligent and smart dragoness to know. Spyro is definitely lucky to have you in his life, you're a vixen Cynder."
"How did Cyril get here in the first place anyway?" Inferno asked confused, while Onyx filled in to answer for him, Sapphire, and Spyro, "Cynder. She probably sent a Royal guard to go inform either Cyril or Fire on our solution here, she's truly a smart dragoness."
"I'm just glad she helped us out in a way." Spyro said kindly to his friends, as they nodded in agreement before looking towards Cyril and Flame.
Flame stood shaking up on all fours and looked up at Cyril's face and before yelling out at him in rage.
"Why are you just standing there for, aren't going do something instead of glaring down at cold heartedly or what?!"
Cyril's eyes were half closed and he spoke out grimy and coldly to Flame, sending shivers down his red scaled back, "Oh, I plan on doing something alright."
Cyril's ice spiked mice tail blade shot forward toward Flame and before Flame could dodge it, the spiked ice mice hit Flame hard in the stomach and made Flame spit out of blood onto the ground before him and Cyril has he was sent towards Clone Hunter who was still paralyzed and laying on the ground in his blood. As Flame hit Clone Hunter's body hard and was struggling to get up, Cyril moved his tail back behind him and was now staring coldly at Flame as he and the others walked in front of Flame and Clone Hunter as they stopped several feet away from them. Flame sat up on his hind legs and was shaking extremely more than ever now and glared coldly at Cyril, Onyx, Inferno, Sapphire, and Spyro now, and spit out more blood from his mouth before looking back at them all and then speaking out.
"You win this fight today, but I promise you all here today that Ember will get both Spyro and Cynder and when she does. We'll show you all no mercy from us; mark my words it will happen."
"You can spit out all the words you want Flame, on how to kill us, but we'll be there and waiting to kick yours and Ember's ass as well. And next time we fight, we won't show any remorse or sorrow for when you and Ember die." Onyx said coldly to Flame, who just laughed evilly before bringing down his right paw on Clone Hunter's head as they both growled yellow together.
"We shall see Onyx, we shall see." Flame said evilly to everybody as he and Clone Hunter disappeared completely from their sight and the battlefield. All five of them sighed softly to themselves for a few seconds, while Onyx looked at Cyril and Cyril at him.
"So, I'm guessing Cynder sent a Royal guard member to inform you or Fire on what's happening today?"
"Yes, he told us on of the events that are happening today. When I asked where Spyro was he said was here on Warfang's left main gate road, then I came flying here as fast as I could. I guess I didn't mess much, as I only saved the rest of you from Flame's attack and then attacking him myself to which I'd do that again sometime in the near future." Cyril said to Onyx.
"Well, you made in time to save our asses from being scorched to ashes and for that I thank you Cyril."
"Nothing to worry about Onyx and you're welcome by the way." Cyril said happily to Onyx, who just smiled happily as well before looking towards Spyro, Inferno, and Sapphire who setting on their hind legs.
"Spyro, did Flame by any chance use that spell of Cancellation on you in the fight?" Onyx asked Spyro Questioningly, to which Spyro just nodded.
"Yes, he did. He did it to Inferno too as well." With Spyro nodding his purple scaled towards Inferno as he was being healed by his girlfriend Sapphire.
"So, he hit you too huh Inferno with that spell as well?" Onyx asked Inferno, as Inferno looked straight at him, "Yes, he did. I thought that spell can only be used once or something, but instead he used it twice!"
"The spell can be only used once, looks like Flame forcefully used it twice this time that's not good for him though, but I just thought I'd ask Spyro and Inferno, nothing to worry about." Onyx said calmly to Spyro and Inferno, while Inferno gave Onyx an annoyed look on his muzzle as his body scales returned back to red.
"Easy for you to say, you weren't hit with that spell." Onyx laughed a bit, but not too much and spoke kindly to Inferno, "Point taken."
"Onyx, if you're here with us, then my older son Light?" Cyril asked Onyx questioningly, as Onyx looked back at Cyril and his face returned to normal to speak seriously with Cyril.
"Light, should be their already and helping Cynder out with her fight with Ember." Inferno got up all fours and moved a bit, before stopping and looking at Onyx as well.
"Are we going over there to help or not Onyx?" Inferno asked Onyx, as he looked at Inferno.
"We'll stay here and rest up for a bit." Onyx said to Inferno, before looking at Cyril and then speaking to him, "Cyril, by any chance did that Royal guard go back to Cynder or King Terrador?"
"I gave orders to him to go and tell Terrador about what was happening with his daughter fighting with Ember. Hopeful he got there in time." Cyril said calmly to Onyx.
All five dragons looked towards Warfang and saw black smoke coming from near the castle grounds and main road, Spyro broke between them all and sighed softly and worriedly to himself.
"I hope Cynder is alright over there, it's a shame I'm not over there and helping her out in her fight with Ember." Spyro felt something rub his purple scaled head and saw Onyx doing it which made him and Onyx smile.
"Cynder will be alright, Spyro. If I know Cynder, she won't go down without a fight." Onyx said kindly to Spyro, as they both looked back at Warfang and hoping, just hoping that Light will make it there in time. But what, Onyx and Spyro didn't know was that Cynder was about to get help from her mentor Scarlett and Warfang's spy, Requiemas the dragons.
