Finally a new chapter for my Spyro story, sorry for the long wait and stuff. Last year of 2018 was very busy for me especially during harvest time as I mostly helped my parents with their farming and combining out in the fields. So, sorry everyone including my readers, fans, and fellow authors/writers who were waiting for this long awaited chapter of my Spyro story. The chapters here, so please everyone enjoy it and review it if you can.

And also, it was ten years ago today that I joined fanfiction fully as a author/writer. Its hard to believe that its been ten years already, and am I still going strong with my writing and stories, and have no plans on stopping neither. If anyone or anybody wants to wish me a happy tenth anniversary as a author/writer or friend, please do it in the reviewing section or PM me and I will try my best to respond to all of you.

Cynder, Scarlett, Requiemas, & Light (Lightmare) Vs Ember

Part III

(Location: Outside of Castle Warfang, Cynder and Ember still fighting on the main road. Royal Dragon Guards watch over their Princess from the nearby rooftops. Scarlett is also on rooftops and watching the fight as well.)

Time: 56 minutes into the fight.

Form: Adult Cynder will be in this form for the next few chapters.

Dust clouds were everywhere on Warfang's main street leading up to the castle where the King and Queen lived. However for Scarlett and the royal guards though, they covered their faces with their wings as the dust continued to block their vision and smell. The dust covered the entire area in light grey making it very hard to see through or even smell for the matter. The dust continued on like this for three minutes before Scarlett felt a large rush of wind surround the area and blowing away some the of the large dust clouds away from the area. Scarlett moved her wings from her face and neatly placed them against her dark red scaled sides of her body while her tail swiftly moved back and forth behind her. She turned her head left and spotted some royal dragon guards on the rooftops some ways from her and noticed that they haven't spotted her either from the looks of things. With her light crimson eyes, she noticed that their attention was more focused on Cynder and Ember fighting rather than themselves and their surroundings really. She looked away from them and rolled her light crimson eyes at the Warfang's so called royal guards.

"Guards are so simple and straight forward; it's almost laughable to be honest. I understand that the guards need to protect their princess and all, but come on though. They should at least pay attention to their surroundings and shit, for them not to notice me or even spot me from where they are just goes to show that the royal guards need to be better trained."

Scarlett looked behind her then to her left to make sure nobody else was there or had spotted her location. So far, everything looked good to her. She looked around the damaged arena and saw all the damage that was done by Cynder and Ember's battle. The main street had many holes, small to medium sized creators, large cracks in the street as well; the golden fences were destroyed, bent, or gone from where they were standing originally. Some of the shopping stands were completely destroyed or turned into wooded pile of rubble. Heck, even some of the buildings were in bad shape or form, walls were missing or gone, floors with wood still hanging from them, and windows with either being broken glass were gone or shattered. Even one building near Warfang's castle golden steel fence was completely and utter destroyed. It was nothing, but a pile of rubble of bricks, stone, and wood. Scarlett shook her head sadly from the sight and continuing looking around the area again.

"So much damage and destruction from Cynder and Ember's fight caused this much already? I know I have problems with Warfang's Commander of the Guard and all, but to see these ancient and beautiful buildings go down like a deck of cards is sad and dishearten. But, I came here with one goal in mind. That is to save and protect my student, Cynder from being captured and taken."

Scarlett clenched her snow white claws into the stone roof as she breathed in and out while her tail and wings twitched here and there. She stopped breathing in and out, and calmly looked away from the destroyed building to the royal guards who were still watching their Princess from a far. She watched them for a minute as she was deep in thought.

"Once I go down there and help Cynder, I'll mostly likely be spotted from them and possibly be attacked or killed. I could easily beat them if I wanted too, but Cynder wouldn't like that one bit neither would my dad or Terrador."

Scarlett turned her dark red scaled head back and looked down below her at the sight of her student Cynder who was in her adult form this time and on all fours with her tail swinging wildly and large wings to her sides and Ember who was sitting up and shacking as her own tail moved freely behind her and wings twitching a bit, even her pink scales were now battered, bruised, and stained with dry and wet blood stains across her body. Scarlett noticed that Ember had a look of an evil grin on her face as you could see her teeth showing, while her students look was one of shock and question written across her pointed adult-looking face and green eyes. Scarlett looked down below her student's right foreleg and paw, and found the answer she needed.

"Hmmm, I see…"

Below Cynder's right foreleg and paw that was being held by the stone square pillar formed from the ground, it was all grey with bits of rock and other materials in it. However on all square sides of the pillar were large cracks starting to make their way down to the bottom of the pillar from the top where the cracks really started. The cracks were forming fast and quick now from the hit force of Cynder's attack. On top of the pillar was Cynder's right front black scaled paw with her silver claws clenched hard into a fist like style while her right paw and silver claws were shacking in pain from the impact of the stone pillar that stopped her attack dead on. The pillars top was completely gone and in ruins now as bits of grey stone and dust now layed waste on the top of the pillar as Cynder's right and silver claws were still shacking in pain.

Scarlett was still deep in thought, but she continued looking and studying her students shocked and questioning look while also keeping tabs on Ember and her movements.

"Ember must have used the Earth Spell: Stone Pillar, to intercept and block Cynder's attack before it even hit her. The Stone Pillar spell requires stamina as payment to be used. However though, even though the Stone Pillar is one of the lighter and easier spells to use in that spell book of Light and Onyx's, it still requires payment none the less."

Back on the ground, both Ember and Cynder were still looking at each other. Ember was grinning like a mad evil scientist while Cynder's look was more of shock and question in her green eyes. As they continued starring, Ember's grin soon faded away has she felt a tingly sensation rush through her body, she felt her body started to feel a bit weaker than normal as the tingly feeling continued throughout her body, but soon felt a new painful tingly sensation rush through her this time making Ember bringing up her paws to her face and wincing in pain from the new tingly sensation.

"Damn, using two spells at once really takes its toll on the body and elemental power. Using Stone Pillar and blocking Cynder's attack was a smart move, but the bloody spell requires stamina though as payment. Then to make matters worse, the spell of "Cancellation of the Elementals" requires elemental power as payment as well. In which case, capturing Cynder now makes it more harder and dangerous than ever. I'll have to be careful."

Cynder on her part had shaken her head of her shocked and questioning look now, as rage took over her and actions. With all the power in her right paw and silver claws, she forced her right paw down into the stone pillar with so much force that the stone pillar basically just cracked and shattered into little bits of stone and grey dust. Ember heard the noise and bought her tingly and now shaky front pink paws back to the ground as her blue eyes widen in surprise of how Cynder used just raw strength and force to smash and destroy her stone spell with ease. Cynder still in rage used this time to attack and swipe at Ember with her deadly and sharp silver claws from her right and left paws. Ember's saw the attacks coming and flew five feet away from her black scaled raged filled opponent and landed on the ground on all fours on shaky paws as the tingly sensations continued on in her body.

Cynder's rage had calmed down a bit by now, but it was still there in the back of her mind. Her black serpent like long tail swayed behind her fast and steady as her tail blade shined and glimmered in the sunlight. Her adult wings flared out a bit from her back as her long and lean body was looking strong and graceful. Cynder looked away from Ember as she herself felt a tingly sensation run through her elemental power just now. She brought up her right paw and looked down at it in thought as her green eyes blinked away.

"Not good, Ember must have used the spell "Cancellation of the Elementals" onto the Stone Pillar one. That means two of my elemental powers will be useless to use in my fight with Ember."

Cynder looked back up at Ember and brought her right paw back to the ground and narrowed her green eyes at her pink scaled opponent. The black dragoness still felt tingly sensations, but after three to five seconds later the tingly sensation stopped completely and was back to normal, well somewhat normal. Cynder bought her right paw back up and looked down at it in some thought; her green eyes were still narrowed and hard.

"I can still use my wind element, but it won't do much against Ember's fire element. My shadow element is fine and wasn't chosen from the looks of thing, but my Fear and Poison elements though are out of the picture. In other words, taking down Ember won't be a walk in the park. I'll have to be very careful when I'm attacking Ember, because one wrong move on my part means game over for me."

Cynder stopped looking at her right paw and thoughts and saw Ember with her left paw in the air. What Cynder saw though, wasn't something she was prepared to stop? Her green eyes shined and narrowed hard at the pink dragoness in front of her as the black dragoness growled madly at Ember. Behind the pink dragoness was a very large ring of fire that was burning bright and hot as the air around them and the surrounding area was heating and warming up a lot. Even the royal guards and Scarlett felt the air around them heat up, but not enough to make their scales sweat and stuff. Ember was grinning was like no tomorrow as she brought down her left pink paw back to the ground beneath her. Cynder for her part looked at the large ring of fire and narrowed her green eyes at it as she knew this was an attack spell for her and only her.

Scarlett from the roof tops looked at the large ring of fire for herself and study it from afar with her light crimson eyes while deep in thought.

"An attack spell known as, Destruction of Flame's. And one that leaves destruction in its path and wake."

Cynder backed up somewhat as her long serpent like tail was moving freely and quickbehind her, but kept her green glaze at the large ring of fire that was behind Ember and study it too as she stopped backing up and stayed still where she was as she bought her large wings out some.

"The Destruction of Flame's, an attack spell that shoots out like a large flamethrower in a beam like way and burns everything in its path. Leaving nothing but ash and smoke in its way, I should be able to dodge it and counter back with an attack of my own. Easy enough I hope." Cynder said to herself.

However though, Ember grinned evilly to herself as a quick thought came inside in her head.

"Ha, that's what she thinks."

On the roof top, Scarlett sighed to herself as a thought crossed into her mind once more.

"That's where you're wrong Cynder; it's not as easy as you may seem to think it is. While that spell maybe destruction and hellish even, it has one more trick up its sleeve. It's…"

Before Scarlett could finish that thought in her mind, she saw Ember lift up her right paw into the air and swung it forward fast and very quick as the pink dragoness roared out.

"This is where you lose Cynder!"

With those words roared out to the world, the large ring of fire suddenly brighten even more as the fire shot out in a flamethrower like way out of it so fast and quick that it even shocked and surprised Cynder to the her core.

"Immense speed." Scarlett thought lastly as she saw the fiery attack heading towards her friend and student.

The large beam of the swirling like flamethrower was incredible fast as it was nearing her very quickly. She could feel the intense heat around her heating up making her black scales heat up fast and hot to the touch. Cynder shook her head fast as a small plan formed in her head.

"The attack is too fast for me to counter it, stop it, or even dodge it with my shadows! I'll have to use my wings as a shield and hope it doesn't hurt me too badly or worse."

With the thought ended and the plan put into action now, Cynder lowered her hind end down and wrapped her serpent long tail around to her front and moved her head down between her front legs as her large black wings formed over her this by creating a shield for herself. The black dragoness closed her green eyes tightly, and hoped to the ancients above that she'll make it through this attack from Ember. As the attack was nearing the black female very closely, back on the roof tops the dark red dragoness breathed in and out before stopping it and then the next vanishing from sight the next.

As the attack very much neared the black dragoness by now, the dark red dragoness reappeared in front of her student and lifted up her left paw into the air as a dark red barrier formed a dome shape over her and the black female. As the dark red dome shaped barrier was completed now, the barrier was struck hard and fast as the destructive flames spread all around the barrier as the intense heat heated up the area around them as the raging flames tried to burn away the barrier but the intense flames were having no such luck though what so ever. Scarlett moved her light crimson eyes side to side and then up as she watched the flames dance around her Fear barrier as the flames continued on while trying to break or burn her barrier away. After she stopped her watching, she heard Ember shouting and yelling out to the world as the attack continued.

"Yes! I did it, finally! I beat Cynder, and her powers are all mine now."

Back inside the barrier, Scarlett with left her paw still in the air as a dangerous smile formed on her scaled lips and her light crimson eyes narrowing hard and sternly now as a thought formed in her head.

"Oh Ember, it's a little early to be celebrating right now don't you think. Just because you used a powerful attack spell doesn't mean you've won, oh no it's far from over. This fight is only getting started you pink bitch, and you best be prepared for me Ember. Ha ha, because when I fight I never leave my enemies alive after I'm done playing around with them."

The dark red dragoness shook her head from her thoughts and looked over her right shoulder and saw her student and friend, Cynder still covering herself in her black wings as a small smile formed on her scaled lips again knowing that her student was okay and fine.

"If I hadn't jumped in when I did, this attack would have hit Cynder head on and most likely would've hurt her very much or severely burn her, but I'm glad she's alright and safe."

Scarlett turned her head back to the front and lowered her left paw to the ground as the red Fear barrier was still up and shielding them from the fiery inferno. The dark red female lifted her right paw this time and spaced out her snowy white claws as a medium sized very dark red orb was fully formed into her claws. She looked at it and study it with her light crimson eyes.

"This Fear orb will be able to suck in the flames and grow in size. Once all the flames are in this orb, a pawn on my command I can release the fiery attack right back at Ember at any time, word, place, flicker of my eyes, or just a snap from my claws. It's not magic or evens a spell for that matter, but of my own element of Fear powers that I created this orb from. And now, I'm going to use it." The dark red dragoness said surely to herself.

And with that, the very dark red orb launched from her snowy white claws and flew straight out of the Fear barrier and into the fiery flamethrower beam. While this was happening the pink dragoness who was now jumping lightly in victory and praise now didn't notice the dark red orb moving inside the fiery attack spell as it made its way to the half way mark. Ember stopped her victory dance and felt something was off with the spell; she turned around as her pink tail swayed slightly left and right she looked deep into her attack spell. At first she didn't see anything wrong, but upon closer inspection though she saw a dark object in the flames. Her blue eyes followed the object as it moved through the flames at normal speed before stopping in the middle of the fiery beam and staying there silently. Ember didn't like the object very much and had a bad feeling about it too.

"Hmmm, that thing or whatever the hell it is. Is something I don't like, looks like I have to remove it with a…"

Her thoughts was stopped as she gasped and saw the flames were being rapidly sucked up into the dark object as the flames were quickly swirling around the object like a snake coiling around their prey. The pink dragoness blue eyes widen in surprise as the dark object was growing in size as the flames were quickly being sucked in even faster this time.

"I-I-I… Impossible?! The attack spells flames are being sucked in by that object or orb thing! And not just that, but the object is growing in size as the flames are being sucked in!"

As this was happening, back up on the roof tops another young adult dragon had just landed on the same spot where Scarlett once was standing and watching from. The dragon had pale red scales and a silver underbelly and inner wings with black horns and claws while his snout not short or long had a triangle shape to it somewhat as his muzzle narrowed down towards his nostrils. His left horn was riddled with scars almost as if he was in a battle of some kind and his right horn was no better off neither as his right horn was split from the base of the horn going upward. His body was slender and well built in physique, with his back and front legs showing strong muscles within them, and around his neck was golden necklace with a medallion that had a symbol of two swords crossed in a x shape and another sword going down the middle of the x, and then a pair of dragon wings were on either side of the swords giving the golden medallion a unique and ancient look to it.

His sharp green eyes scanned the area around him as his long pale red tail swayed behind him gently and gracefully. He turned his red head left and spotted the royal dragon guards standing and watching the battle below them, the pale red male study them and noticed on their faces that they were worried and upset as something or someone had just died.

"Judging from their looks on their faces and the way their dressed in black armour, their Cynder's personal body guards assigned to her by her father King Terrador. So if they're here, then that means Cynder's here too as well."

Requiemas turned his pale red head away from them and looked down below saw the scene unfold for him. There he saw the flames being sucked into a dark red large orb that was as big a giant fireball and saw that the flames where all sucked in and also saw the large ring where the fire was oblivious coming from had stopped producing the fires and the large ring shattered before disappearing into thin air. He saw the giant orb move into the air fast and before it stopped suddenly. He looked up slightly and saw the giant orb had small traces of red lightning going around it giving the orb an even more dreadful look. The orb was high in the air just slightly above the building he was on and the orb wasn't doing anything at the moment right now, but he made sure to keep his green eyes on it from time to time though. He looked down again and what he saw made his sharp green eyes open in surprise. There down below him was the pink dragoness that everybody wanted hanged, killed, in prisoned, or put down permanently was Ember herself out in the wide open city of Warfang.

"It's Ember?!" He gasped out.

Ember at this point was not happy right now, but before she could do anything though she turned her head right and saw a dark red beam of element power shot towards her fast. She dodged the fast attack as it hit the spot where she was just at and landed a few feet away and saw that the attack had created a large hole in the street as dust was there and slowly disappearing into the air. Ember looked ahead where the attack came from and what she saw made her madder than hell itself. There ahead of her, was none other was Cynder hiding still in her large black wings, but it was the new figure in front of Cynder that made Ember mad and very much angry as the Fear barrier disappeared around the figure and Cynder.

"No, it can't be?! You're…" Ember growled out in anger.

Behind the figure, Cynder freed herself from her large black wings and stood back up on all fours as her long serpent tail moved freely behind her as she folded her wings in slightly. She looked around the area with her green eyes and then she looked in front of her and saw her master and future sister in law, Scarlett standing there in all of her glory which shocked Cynder. On the roof tops, Requiemas also looked to where Ember was looking at and gasped in shock as well, there standing in front of Cynder was none other than the dark red dragoness he last saw three years ago.

"Scarlett?!" Both Requiemas and Cynder said together.

"The Mistress of Madness, The Twisting Mind Control of Madness, and you're most famous nick name of all, The Phantasm Of Fear & Dread. You're none other than Scarlett the dragoness." Ember growled out in anger again.

The dark red dragoness just laughed dangerously and seriously which sent shivers down Requiemas and Cynder's backs and scales while Ember's body shook slightly, "Oh I do so miss the old names."

The pink dragoness just growled out some more while speaking out to Scarlett, "You're supposed have disappeared years ago and yet here you are right front of me."

Scarlett laughed to herself while looking at her right paws snowy white claws, "I get that a lot, but the news of my disappearance is greatly imagined really. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Then, why are you here even? Huh." Ember growled out to Scarlett.

Scarlett stopped looking at her claws as she bought down her right paw back to the ground before locking her light crimson eyes with Ember's blue ones and starring her down sternly and dangerously, "Why am I here Ember? You all of dragons should know why I'm here in the first place."

Ember clenched the ground the hard with her claws as puffs of smoking were escaping from her nostrils and pink tail swinging wildly behind her now. Requiemas and Cynder continued watching the two dragonesses and waited to see who would make the first move or words.

"But this talking is tedious, if you really don't know why I'm here for then I'll spell it out for you." Scarlett said with venom in her voice to Ember.

Ember was clenching the ground even harder now as her anger was reaching the boiling part.

"I'm here to protect my student, do you now get it Ember!" Scarlett said sternly and smartly.

Ember smirked, "Cynder huh? I thought Malefor's top former and most fearful General of the three didn't have any feelings what so ever."

Scarlett smirked this time while Ember didn't, "That's where you're so wrong Ember, so very wrong. But like I said, this talk is tedious and its time I put you in your place now!"

Ember let a growl of anger out and stomped her front paws into the ground below her.

"Is that so, and where exactly would that be Scarlett?!" She growled out angrily.

The dark red dragoness lifted her right paw into the air with a piece of stone in her snowy white claws and was turning the stone around in her claws while keeping her light crimson eyes locked onto Ember's angry blue ones. Both Requiemas and Cynder both gulped at once as a small shiver ran down their backs and scales again as to what the mad dark red dragoness had to say.

"In your grave is where you will be placed, Ember." Scarlett said coldly and madly to the pink dragoness while she kept turning the stone around some more in her claws.

Ember's claws clenched the ground even harder as blood started to appear from the pressure and was grinding her teeth tightly and angrily while her emotions were at their breaking point and she couldn't help but growl out even louder than ever.

"And this time I'll make sure you stay in that grave…" Scarlett said even colder than before as her light crimson eyes narrowed down hard at Ember.

"For All Eternity!" Scarlett coldly and sternly yelled out as she crushed very the stone in her snowy white claws to emphasize her point across.
