"Well pup, this is the first time I'm seeing you off to Hogwarts." Sirius said.
"I'm pretty sure it's because you were in Azkaban, but who knows, maybe you just always forgot." Harry jibed.
Andromeda hugged him. "Let us know when the first assassination attempt occurs, ok Harry?"
"Of course." He said. "Besides, Mum would probably have my head if I didn't inform you."
"§ That's my job! §" Lily hissed quietly from within Harry's sleeve.
Then Nymphadora appeared, seemingly in a hurry as she caught her breath.
"Are you ok?" Harry asked.
"Yeah." She said after a moment. "There's something big going on at Hogwarts this school year. They mentioned something about aurors from other countries. That's all I could get."
"First attempt, foundations have been laid." Harry said with a smirk. "Let's see how this one goes."
"Make sure to have fun." Sirius said.
"But don't go overboard and put yourself on the front page." Andromeda said.
"Just do moderation." Nymphadora finished, pushing Harry towards the train. "They won't stop if you don't go."
"Send my regards to Cissa, and have fun while I'm gone." Harry said to Nymphadora as he entered the train.
"Of course." Nymphadora said, then Harry went in.
After a while, he found an empty cab three cabs away from the last cab. He took a book out of his trunk, then he put his trunk up, and quietly began reading.
Some others passed through his cab, but they didn't speak to him, so Harry was left undisturbed.
Several minutes later, Ron and Hermione entered the cab, and he rose to greet them.
"Ron, Hermione! It's nice to see you guys again!"
"Did you really kill all those people, Harry?" Hermione asked, not bothering to respond to his greeting.
"Well, about ten of them were done by my allies, so no, it wasn't all me." Harry said. "Take a seat, we can talk about this further."
They took a seat, albeit hesitantly.
The train blew its horn, and then they were off.
"Harry, they might have been bad people, but they didn't all deserve to die so… so barbarically!" Hermione said.
"Why not?" Harry asked in mock confusion.
"Well, they're criminals! They should be taken to court, not killed the way you did!"
"If I took them to court, they would have used their money to control the court."
"I'm sure Dumbledore would have made sure they spent their time in Azkaban."
"The way he tried to make sure I was sent to Azkaban?" Harry asked.
Ron cut in. "Look mate, you're just not acting right. My best mate never killed anyone, or wanted to kill anyone."
Harry shrugged, standing up. "If that's what you have to say about all this, then good on you. I'll find another cab to sit in, I don't much feel like having this debate again."
Harry took his trunk and his book, then he walked out of the cab, looking for another cab to take a seat in.
Eventually, he found a quieter cab with three girls in it, but they were much more quiet and seemingly more amicable then the people in the other cabs.
"May I sit in this cab?" He asked politely.
The girls scrutinized him for a moment.
"You may, Heir Potter." One of the girls said.
Harry nodded his thanks, and put his trunk at the top, then he turned to them. "Pleasure to meet you. I am Harry Potter, Heir of Houses Potter and Black."
The girl who originally gave him permission daintily gave him her hand. "Well met, Heir Potter. I am Daphne Greengrass, Heiress of House Greengrass."
"Well met, Heiress Greengrass." Harry said, kissing her hand.
Daphne Greengrass had wavy blond hair that reached her hip, icy blonde eyes, light pink lips, and a well developed figure hid under her robes. A ten, if Harry could dare to think that.
"I'm Tracey Davis, Heiress of House Davis." One of the other girls said.
Tracey Davis was a brunette whose hair went down to her chest, then it curled up. She had black eyes, and a figure that looked more… bountiful than Daphne's.
"Well met, Heiress Davis." Harry said, kissing her fingers.
"I'm Astoria Greengrass." The last girl said.
Astoria looked like a younger version of Daphne, but she seemed… cuter. Dare he think it, while Daphne was superbly beautiful, Astoria took those looks and made them cute. She had her lush hair flowing over her right shoulder, her eyes were aqua green, and while her figure wasn't fully developed, she still looked beautiful.
"Well met, Miss Greengrass." Harry said, kissing her fingers as well.
Harry sat down.
"Congratulations on your successful closing of the case, Heir Potter." Daphne said.
"Thank you, Heiress Greengrass." Harry said. "But please, call me Harry, all of you."
"Harry, then." Daphne said.
Harry hesitated for a second, then he spoke his mind. "I seem to remember that one of my casualties was Regent Greengrass. May I ask his relation to you?"
"He was my uncle." Daphne said.
"I see." Harry said. "And will your family declare a blood feud against mine?"
"There's no love lost between us and that murderer." Astoria said hotly.
"Astoria, control yourself." Daphne said.
Astoria nodded, and Daphne faced Harry once again.
"For now, pride yourself with the knowledge that you are more dear to our family than he ever was." She said, providing her family's perspective on him without officially saying anything.
Harry nodded, then he changed subjects. "Since that's out of the way, how about a small gamble on what will be the main danger of the year?"
"The main danger?" Tracey asked amusedly. "Is that what we're calling it?"
"Well, that's better than calling it the yearly assassination attempt against my life." Harry shot back with a smirk.
"If it's yearly, then what was the so-called attempt in the three of yours first year?" Astoria asked.
"Quirrel." Harry said.
"So, the greaatest fear of the amazing Harry 'Gryffindor' Potter is a stuttering turbaned scared idiot." Daphne drawled sarcastically.
Harry opened his mouth to answer, but the doors to the cab opened, revealing Draco Malfoy and his two goons.
"Potter." Malfoy said angrily. "They told me you were in this cab."
Harry brushed some imaginary dust off his robes, not even feigning interest in Draco. "Well then, whoever told you so would be right."
Realizing he wouldn't be getting a rise out of Harry for now, he turned to Daphne. "Heiress Greengrass, how do you allow yourself to sit comfortably right across the murderer of your uncle? You should prove yourself worthy and kill that worthless halfblood."
"You want to be one of the first to know something, Draco?" Harry said, raising his right arm slightly, and hissing at it. The head of a snake appeared from within his sleeve. "A good amount of the rumors spread during our second year was actually true! While I might not have been the one who was petrifying everyone, I am the Heir of Slytherin. You ever wondered why Moldyshorts only ever called himself the Heir of Slytherin? He was truly descended from Slytherin, I checked his family trees myself to confirm. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually went to Gringotts to attempt to procure the Lord's ring, to no success. The Lord and Heir rings are actually hidden in a place I visited myself towards the end of second year."
"The Chamber of Secrets." Tracey breathed out in shock.
"Bingo!" Harry said, and everyone except Tracey looked confused at his exclamation. "That's actually one of the first things I'm planning to retrieve when we get to Hogwarts. Now, Malfoy, you could go right out and tell everyone about what I told you, right? But you're a Slytherin, and you're sly. That's just something Gryffindorish and below you. No no no, what you should do is threaten me! After all, if you do that, then you get to make me do whatever you want, right?"
Malfoy smirked. "Nice to see you walking to your own demise, Potter."
Harry wagged his finger. "Oh, but I seem to remember old Lucie threatening me at the World Cup!" Harry raised his eyes to the skies, as if he was just remembering something. "I don't think that went well for him, if I remember correctly. Oh no it didn't, he was murdered a couple hours later." Harry glared at Malfoy, his features sharpened, while he presented his finger with the Heir Black ring. "I'm also Heir Black, french boy, keep that in mind. I could kill you, and none would be the wiser. Run off, and keep your mouth shut, french boy, today is not your day to die."
Harry pointed at the doors with two fingers, then flicked his hand to the side, and the doors opened. Then he looked at Draco and his stooges, and made a shooing motion with his hand, throwing them out of the cab. Then he flicked his fingers once more, and the doors snapped shut.
"Well, I can see why Dad said you were powerful when he came back from the Ministry." Tracey said sarcastically, while Daphne's eyes were slightly wider than normal, and Astoria looked like she had so much to say but didn't know how to start.
"Wandless magic takes a lot out of you at first, but then it becomes easier." Harry said. "If a typical wizard goes by it the right way they can do all the spells taught in first and second years, as well as a couple others." Then he took out his wand and summoned a table with a Monopoly board. "Want to play Monopoly, anyone?"
"What is Monopoly?" Astoria asked.
"It's a Muggle game that takes hours." Tracey said, but she looked excited. "No sleep for the wicked. Daffy," Harry had to bite his lip to prevent himself from laughing at that, "Tori, we'll teach you how to play, but you guys better not destroy the board."
"I still don't understand why you call me Daffy." Daphne muttered.
Tracey and Harry exchanged a smirk. "It's a Muggle thing."
"Why would we want to destroy the board?" Astoria asked innocently. "That would destroy the game."
"Trust me, at one point it'll seem like the point of the game is to destroy the board." Harry said. "You three being witches will not help at all."
"Why Harry, it seems like you think yourself above destroying the board." Tracey commented.
"Very well." Harry said, exaggeratedly sighing. "Us four being one wizard and three witches makes the board much more susceptible to destruction."
"Perfect!" Tracey said. "Ok, Daphne, Astoria, this is how you play…"
Tracey explained the rules of the game with Harry occasionally chipping in, then they began the game after Astoria moved across to sit next to Harry for ease of play.
Daphne chose to be the battleship, Tracey chose to be the shoe, Astoria chose to be the cat, while Harry chose to be the racecar.
They began the game, and Harry got to know the girls closer. Daphne was clearly the leader of the three of them. She had a more closed personality, and she clearly was smart, shrewd, and in Harry's opinion, she was very much like Narcissa, except her mask was always on, and Harry vaguely felt that Daphne would be much scarier than Narcissa if angered. Not that Harry wanted to anger either of them, but it was just a thought. Tracey was a halfblood as her mother was a muggleborn, and it showed in her knowledge, reactions, and general attitude. She was the more playful of the three, but she also didn't seem to be like the person who would stand down in a fight. Astoria was younger than the other two by a year, and from her behavior, it seemed the other two attempted to shield her from the world, but failed for the most part. She acted innocent, but Harry could see in her eyes that she was shrewdly observing everything.
After two hours of the game, Astoria already attempted to destroy the board as she was nearing bankruptcy, but Tracey stopped her, and Daphne glared at Astoria for attempting to destroy the board. Astoria looked at Harry, asking for support from him.
"Didn't you say that destroying the board would be the point of the game?" Astoria asked in mock innocence.
"I said it would seem like it was the point of the game, not that it would be the point of the game." Harry said.
Astoria pouted cutely at Harry, as if begging for his support. The other two gave a resigned sigh, as if they knew that Harry would bend to the power of Astoria's expression.
Harry turned away from Astoria's expression with great difficulty, but he could still see her pout from the side of his eyes, and acquiesced. "Fine, maybe most of these boards get destroyed."
Tracey chuckled. "Not bad for your first time against her pout."
"Serves me right for playing against Slytherins." Harry muttered.
"Why did you choose to play Monopoly with us?" Tracey asked as she rolled the dice. "You know this is a game that's based mostly on strategy."
"It doesn't seem that his Gryffindor tendencies carry over to the game, does it?" Daphne asked sarcastically as she gestured to Harry's cards.
Astoria frowned. "When did you start to own that many properties?"
"When he traded a train station with you for two reds and a light blue." Tracey jibed.
Astoria frowned even more as she realized the truth in Tracey's statement. "I thought you were my new friend, Harry." She said, looking like she truly was betrayed.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the worst he received over a Monopoly game, so he was relatively unscathed; Sirius once turned into Padfoot and bit Harry's leg when he realized that Harry had driven him bankrupt.
"Unfortunately, even friendship must be sacrificed if you want to win Monopoly." Harry said regretfully.
"Clearly, from how it seems that you and Ice Queen here are winning." Tracey scoffed.
"I thought that moniker was just a rumor." Harry commented.
Daphne glared at Tracey to shut her up.
"Topic change!" Tracey said. "Apparently Winter Break has moved! Now we're getting off two days after Yule, just in time to get home for New Years!"
"Why Yule specifically?" Harry wondered out loud as he rolled the dice.
"Dunno, but I do know you just landed on my property, you owe me $12." Tracey said, then Harry paid up. "Astoria, it's your turn."
And so the game continued. One hour later, Astoria was bankrupt and forced to watch the game, then Tracey joined her an hour and a half later. Two hours later, they were fighting a losing battle against themselves to stay awake as they watched Daphne and Harry quietly play. Eventually they fell asleep, as much as they didn't want to.
"A Slytherin worthy move." Daphne commented as Harry moved forward.
"What is Slytherin worthy?" Harry asked.
"You used the game to understand our personalities and our ticks."
"Did I?"
"Don't act innocent and dumb." Daphne said. "It works very well, but it doesn't look good in situations like this."
"It seems like it does work well with Astoria though, does it not?" Harry asked, gesturing to the girl who's head had landed on his shoulder.
"You never did explain why you mentioned anything about your Parseltongue." Daphne changed tacks, gesturing to the snake that was sleeping on Tracey.
Over the course of the game, Lily had taken a liking to Tracey, and had shown that by resting with her. At first, Tracey was unsure how to react to that, but then she had gotten comfortable with it.
Harry chuckled. "Nothing seems to escape you. Mum was Lord Salazar's descendant from a long line of squibs."
"Draco will talk within the next few days."
"That's the plan, Ice Queen."
Daphne's lips twitched upwards. "You say nothing escapes me, but it looks like that applies more to you, Gryffindor."
Harry shrugged. "Us Blacks aren't feared for no reason."
"I suppose so." Daphne said. "Do you have any questions? I know not all has been explained to you."
"Just one question, for now." Harry said. "Was Nathaniel Greengrass the murderer of your father?"
Daphne nodded. "According to everyone, my dad, Cyrus Greengrass, died from natural causes. The only ones who knew otherwise were my family, Tracey's, my uncle, and that auror you had arrested, Dawlish."
"Who is the current Regent Greengrass?" Harry asked.
"My mom." Daphne said.
"I'm sorry." Harry said, truly sympathetic.
"You killed him, I'm thankful for that. He'd been trying to force mother to marry him so that he could kill her and gain full control over us. He never said that specifically, but we all knew."
Harry said nothing, opting to roll the dice instead.
"Why did you say Quirrel was the one who attempted to assassinate you in first year?"
"He was Moldyshorts under the turban. If you took his turban off, you'd see his face on the back of Quirrel's head."
"Interesting." Daphne commented as she moved her battleship forward.
And so the game continued for the next hour, until Harry ran out of money to pay rent with, and he quickly started losing money until he was bankrupt, and the game was over.
"Good game." Harry said, shaking her hand.
"I look forward to doing something like this again." Daphne said. "Shall we wake them up?"
"I believe the train shall reach Hogwarts soon, so we should." Harry said.
Daphne nodded, and went to wake Tracey, leaving him to wake Astoria.
What she seemed to fail to mention was that Astoria was quite the deep sleeper, and simply shaking her wouldn't wake her. After several tries, he gave up and looked at Daphne, who had successfully awakened Tracey by now.
"How do I wake her up?" He asked in defeat.
"We usually take her blankets off when we have sleepovers." Tracey said. "But I don't think she'll appreciate you taking her clothes off."
Harry groaned. "Actual suggestions please."
"A kiss would wake her." Daphne said with a smirk.
Inwardly, Harry wondered what Andi and Cissa would say to him if he did that, but he didn't let that show. "I doubt she would appreciate that." Harry said dryly.
"§ No, she totally would. §" Lily said. "§ But I'm not sure either Daphne or Tracy would particularly appreciate it, you are a desirable hunk of meat, after all. §"
"Here goes." Harry said, leaning down and causing Tracey and Daphne to pale slightly.
He looked at her lips which were half an inch away from his, and the other two girls paused as it seemed that Harry would kiss Astoria.
"BOO!" Harry exclaimed, and all three girls jumped in surprise.
Harry started laughing.
"Why'd you have to scream?" Astoria complained as she stretched her arm.
"They wanted me to kiss you." Harry said. "I doubt you'd have particularly preferred that."
"I'm not sure I would, no." She said. "But you are a good pillow."
"Don't get too attached to me being a pillow." Harry said. "After all, I hate slimy Slytherins."
They all held straight faces for several seconds, then they all chuckled.
"Anyways, you lot have to change, so I'll roll out for a minute." Harry said as he brought down his trunk and brought his uniform out . "I'll change someplace else, and return."
Harry went to the bathroom, then he changed, then went back to the cab.
He knocked on the door.
"Give us a minute, please." Astoria said.
He waited, then after a minute, Astoria opened the door, wearing her Slytherin school robes.
Harry sat down, and Astoria sat down and cuddled into his side.
"What?" She asked when she received triple questioning looks. "It is super comfy." She looked at Harry. "You don't mind, do you?"
Harry fleetingly contemplated refusing, but her pout took out any fight from him. "No, I suppose I'm alright with it."
"See?" She said to Daphne and Tracey. "He doesn't mind."
Daphne didn't look convinced and sat down with a huff, while Tracey just shrugged.
"Game night next weekend?" Harry asked, trying to ignore the awkwardness.
"Sure." Daphne said after letting Harry sweat for a while.
"You guys can keep a secret, right?" Harry asked.
"I suppose we could, given the right motivations." Daphne said.
"Perfect!" Harry said. "Meet me at Myrtle's bathroom, Saturday night after dinner."
The train slowed down as it came to a full stop, then the horn blew, and they all stood up.
"Do you guys want to go in the same carriage?" Harry asked.
"I suppose we could." Daphne said.
They walked over to the carriages, and Harry helped the girls up the steps.
"What a gentleman." Tracey teased when he entered the carriage.
Harry rolled his eyes at her. "Heiress Davis, if I didn't help you up the carriage, the media would hound me."
"The sad life of being a celebrity." Daphne drawled.
"Woe is I." Harry moaned, putting his hand to his chest.
"I have to ask, what's so special about a girl's bathroom?" Tracey asked.
"It has girls in it?" Harry asked confusedly.
"No, I mean you said to meet you at Myrtle's bathroom." Tracey said.
"Well, that's a surprise." Harry said. "Besides, can I get my snake back before we get to Hogwarts?"
Tracey looked down at the snake that was curled around her neck. "I kind of forgot you were still on me."
"Yeah, she knows how to do that." Harry said. "She knows to hide from public eyes, but at the same time she makes sure you're not uncomfortable from her presence. Except if she wants to make you uncomfortable."
"What's her name?" Astoria asked.
"Lilith." Harry said. That was part of the cover story they made for Lily. She was a King Cobra with latent magical abilities, and Harry found her over the summer and bonded her to him as a familiar, naming her Lilith.
The carriage landed, and Harry helped them all out, then he blade them farewell for now, then he pet the Thestrals pulling the carriage.
"What are you doing, mate?" Ron said,walking up to him along with Hermione.
"Petting the Thestrals." Harry said as if it were obvious.
"Harry, I thought you were going barmy, but this almost proves it." Ron said. "You're petting air."
"What does the Hogwarts: A History have to say about me being barmy, Hermione?" Harry asked. "Am I barmy, or are there Thestrals?"
"There are Thestrals." Hermione said.
"Care to tell Ron here what it takes to see a Thestral, Hermione?" Harry asked.
"One must see death." Hermione said begrudgingly.
"Exactly." Harry said.
"Don't you know that Thestrals are considered bad omens?" Hermione asked.
"Then it looks like this school year is everyone's doom, right?" Harry said, then he walked off.
Neither of them had a rebuttal as they realized the twisted truth in Harry's statement.
~~~~~
Harry sat at the Gryffindor table for the Opening Feast, waiting to see what would happen, and who would be the new Defense teacher.
Once they were all done with their food, Dumbledore stood up, and the hall quieted down.
"Welcome to a new school year, students and teachers." Dumbledore said magnanimously.
"This year brings many changes I'm sure you all will appreciate. Firstly -"
Dumbledore was cut off by the doors to the hall slamming open, presenting a scarred man with a wooden leg and a magical eye.
Dumbledore coughed to regain everyone's attention as the scarred man hobbled over to the table for the teachers. "As I was saying, everyone please welcome your new teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts; Alastor Moody, veteran of the war!"
There were scattered claps, but Harry was another story. He observed the man. Something seemed familiar about him. Harry sniffed the air, then his eyes widened slightly. That was the same scent of Barty Crouch Jr. So, it seemed that Dumbledore wanted to throw a vengeful Death Eater at him, that would end up quite interesting.
"Secondly, unfortunately, this year we will not be holding the usual inter-house Quidditch tournament." There were groans all around the hall, but Dumbledore quelled the sounds. "That leads us to our next announcement. This year, Hogwarts will host the International Triwizard Tournament!"
"YOU'RE JOKING!" Fred loudly exclaimed, bringing humor to the somber hall.
"Unfortunately, I am not." Dumbledore said. "In fact, this Triwizard Tournament will not even be between only three schools! In two months, we will be hosting students from Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, Ilvermony, Salem Witches' School, Ilm Sihr, Uagadou, and Mahoutokoro. We have decided to name it the Octawizard Tournament, as there are eight wizards and witches who shall participate."
(A.N.: All of these schools are canon except for 'Ilm Sihr' I figured since Egypt had a lot of magic in the past, why couldn't they still have a school? And Ilm Sihr means knowledge of magic in Arabic, the main language of Egypt.)
"However, I must impart this on all of you. Only adult wizards will be able to participate. This is due to the fact that last time the Triwizard Tournament was held, many people were killed. This time, we need to make sure that no one dies, too many of us have already died.
"Which brings us to our last and most important message for today." Dumbledore said, lowering his voice to a somber tone. "I know that many of you are scared of the presence of… a specific individual." Many flitted their gazes at Harry momentarily, who looked unaffected. "I apologize for being unable to do anything about their presence, and I ask that if said individual does anything that you feel you should report, please do so, immediately."
Harry inwardly scoffed.
"If that'll be all, please wait for your House Heads to provide you with your schedules." Dumbledore finished, then he left.
Harry watched as Professor McGonagall slowly went her way down the table, handing everyone their schedules.
When she came over to him, she handed him his schedule. "Your schedule, Mr. Potter."
Harry looked it over, then looked at her. "These are not the electives I requested."
"Headmaster Dumbledore said that you would not be able to handle the stress of catching up to the class." She said curtly. "He also wishes for you to go to his office for a meeting after you are done here."
"According to the Hogwarts school charter, a student may request his Head of House to join him in a meeting with the Headmaster, should he feel the need to bring an impartial party." Harry said. "So I request you to join me at the meeting, Professor McGonagall. May you join us?"
Professor McGonagall thought over it for a second. "I can."
"Thank you." Harry said.
"I'll pick you up after I am finished." McGonagall said shortly, then she went on passing schedules to the students.
Harry looked at her in confusion. She usually was never this short with him, even when she seemed disappointed in him.
Harry shrugged, supposing that maybe it was her subconscious reaction to him being a cat animagus as well.
Five minutes later, Professor McGonagall came up to him. "Let us head to Headmaster Dumbledore's office."
Harry stood up and walked beside her. "Professor McGonagall, have I done something to you?" He asked.
"No, you haven't." She said. "Why do you ask?"
"You seem to be short with me, as if you are angry at me for some reason."
"I'm not being short with you." She said. "I'm just - Professor Dumbledore is probably waiting for us."
Harry frowned, that change in topic was almost unnatural, almost as if -
Harry discreetly took his wand out of its holster, then he made a privacy dome, then he used the strongest spell he knew that could break compulsion spells on Professor McGonagall.
She stopped walking, then paused for a moment, then she shook her head. "Thank you, Mr. Potter." She said thankfully. "Truthfully, I don't know when he cast the first compulsion spell. I have not been truly myself for a long time."
"I just did my job, Professor." Harry said.
"Please, call me Minerva, should we be alone." Minerva said. "I was close to your parents and your grandparents, and dare I think that I should have been the one to raise you in Sirius' absence."
"Then it's Harry for you, Minerva." Harry said.
"Harry, then."
"We have to head to Dumbledore's office, and get this done with." Harry said. "If you want, I can ward your room with ancient wards known to none other than me and one ally."
She raised an eyebrow at him. "And how did you procure said wards, Harry?"
Harry shrugged. "Parselscript books are hard to find and even harder to read for anyone who doesn't have access to the Chamber of Secrets."
Minerva had no comment she could make on that.
"We're running late." Harry said.
"Of course." Minerva said. "But before you break this dome, keep in mind that I can still give you detention if you throw yourself in danger needlessly."
Harry winced. "Of course, Minerva." Harry said, knowing that she would probably make well on her threat. Then he broke the dome with a Parseltongue command.
They went to Dumbledore's office, and just as Minerva was about to knock, Dumbledore called from inside. "Enter."
Minerva opened the door for Harry, and he entered, then took a seat without invitation. "Albus, it's good to see you again! When was the last time I saw you? Oh, it was during the case that you tried to send me to Azkaban!"
Dumbledore grit his teeth, then he reverted to his grandfatherly expression. "I am very disappointed in you, Harry. Minerva, you may go, thank you for bringing Harry."
"I'm sorry, Albus, I am unable to do so." Minerva said. "Harry called on the charters that he wished for his Head of House to join you in the meeting as an impartial party."
"Very well, take a seat then, Minerva." Dumbledore said, and she did so.
Dumbledore just stared at Harry, trying to make him break under the tension. When that didn't work, he attempted legilimency, but he could barely make contact with Harry's mind before he was thrown out.
"That won't work, Albus." Harry said amusedly.
Dumbledore sighed deeply. "I'm truly sorry for you, Harry, my boy, that you've fallen so low."
"And I'm truly happy that I'm no longer your pawn who must listen to you prattle about your ideologies." Harry said. "Ideologies you don't even follow yourself. So let's cut the shit, old man. You say your part, I say mine."
Dumbledore leaned forward. "Very well, Harry. Let's begin. How do you know about Ariana?"
Harry started chuckling, until it became full blown laughter. After a minute, he calmed down. "Of course that would be your question." Harry said mirthfully. "Truthfully, Albus? It wasn't too hard. I had to get some dirt on you before the case, so I visited Bathilda Bagshot. After I removed the loads of mind spells on her, we had a talk." Dumbledore looked like he wanted to go and kill Bathilda immediately. "Oh, you won't find her, Albus. She's the secret keeper for a Fidelius charm in one of my safe houses, which she temporarily resides in."
"Very well then." Dumbledore said, but he was clearly angry, he didn't even bother to hide it. "Where is your trunk?"
"The elves didn't find it on the train, did they?" Harry asked sarcastically. "No, I guess they wouldn't, considering it's right here." Harry brought out a necklace from under his shirt, displaying a locket with the same look as his trunk. "I shrunk it, I can't have you attempting to break it open and searching through it."
Albus drew his wand and stood up, pointing the wand at Harry. "Give me the trunk, Harry. I have to search it for any books on Dark magic."
"You won't force me." Harry said uncaringly, still staying seated, while Minerva shakily drew her wand at Dumbledore.
"I already am." Dumbledore said.
"You can't kill me." Harry said. "Everyone will know."
"No, that's true." Dumbledore said. Then he suddenly pointed his wand at Minerva and disarmed her before she could react, then the tip of his wand glowed green. "But you can kill Minerva."
Harry jumped at Minerva faster than Albus could cast the spell, and rolled her out of the way while the killing curse hit the wall.
Harry grabbed Albus' wand which was glowing green once more, and pointed it at the ceiling, the wand still in Dumbledore's hand but not in his full control. "You crossed the line, Dumbledore." Harry growled, all signs of playfulness or nicety gone from his face, instead looking deadly. "You've got two choices, Albus. You can kill me and Minerva, and everyone will attack you. Getting Grindelwald out of prison won't help much. Or you can duel me, and risk losing the allegiance of the Elder Wand." Albus paled at that. "Or you can let us go, I will take the courses I wish to take, and we'll stalemate for now. What's it going to be?"
Albus didn't respond, his face still pale.
"As you and your lover would say, the Greater Good is at stake here, Albus." Harry said, twisting the knife of defeat. "Will you risk your empire, or will you let us go?"
Albus nodded, and Harry released his wand.
Albus took his seat, while Harry went to sit next to Minerva, keeping Albus in his sight. "Are you ok?" He asked worriedly. "I'm sorry that I hurt you."
"I'm alright, at least I'm alive." Minerva said. "But something happened to my right ankle while I was rolling."
Harry took his wand and cast a quick Episkey at Minerva's ankle.
"Thank you." Minerva said, standing up and walking to the door, trusting the fact that Harry had his wand pointed at Dumbledore.
Harry walked backwards to the door, his wand and eyes never leaving Dumbledore.
As he was about to leave, Dumbledore spoke. "You know, Harry, everything I've done is for the Greater Good. Grindelwald and I, we are trying to bring the world to the way it should be. But people like you try to stop us."
"As we should." Harry said. "Today is not your day, Dumbledore."
Harry closed the door, and left with Minerva.
"I'm sorry." Harry said once they left. "I didn't expect him to drop the mask so fast. I expected I would have till Yule, at least."
"It's alright." She said. "You saved me, that's enough for now. Just ward the rooms where I teach, and my personal rooms, and we'll be even."
"Alright." Harry said.
Once he was done warding the rooms where she taught, she spun to look at him with a fierce look. "Now, I will take you to my personal quarters, but before I do, I require your word that not a single word will spill out of your mouth in relation to it. Is that understood?"
"Yes, ma'am." Harry said dutifully, not knowing why she was so strict about it, but knew better than to ask.
Eventually, he understood her worries. The door to her quarters was guarded by a portrait which had three giggling and gossiping ladies dressed in Greek togas of bright colors.
"Sweet Aphrodite!" One of the ladies exclaimed when she saw them heading in their direction. "Has Minerva finally loosened up? Who's this handsome man?"
Minerva sighed as she stopped in front of them. "Ladies, please just open the door, we have business to do."
Immediately they giggled even more. "Ooh, you hear that, ladies?" The center one asked. "They have business to do."
Minerva glared at them, to no effect.
"You have to say the password…" the one on the right sang, stretching "password" out.
"Tranquility." Minerva said.
"Good." The left one said. "But before we can let you go…"
"...we have to get the juicy details!" The center one exclaimed.
"Yeah!" The right one said. "Like who is he?"
"And how did you meet him?"
"And will you sleep together tonight?"
"And did he see under your glamour?"
"Ooh, that's an important question, she's really hot under that glamour." They all descended into giggles again.
"Enough!" Minerva said, looking flustered. "This is Harry Potter, he's here to help me ward the room. I met him when he was a baby, and we will not sleep together tonight. And no, he didn't see under the glamour, thank you for telling him I had a glamour."
"You're no fun, Minnie." The center one said as the portrait slid to the side, revealing a hallway.
They entered, and the portrait slid into place behind them.
"Well, that was…" Harry began.
Minerva swung to face him, glaring. "Not. A. Word." She enunciated, brandishing her wand as if she was going to use it on him.
"Alright." Harry said. "But I already knew you had a glamour, just to let you know."
"How?" She asked.
"The ring I received as Heir Black." Harry said, displaying it. "It detects glamours. Practically every older person has it except for Professors Flitwick, Sinistra, Snape, Babbling, and Vector. What's with that?"
"Magical people age at a much slower pace than Muggles after their teenage years." Minerva said with a sigh. "Aurora may look like she's 25 years old, but she's actually around 50. The stronger one is magically, the longer it takes to age. The typical wizard will look 20 until they turn 35, then they will age slowly."
"Huh." Harry said. He almost asked her actual age and how old she looked, but knew better than to go against the oldest advice ever: never ask a woman her age. "Interesting. Well, then I'll begin. First, I'll purge any listening devices, or any compulsion or obliviation charms on anything. Unfortunately, that doesn't include any potions, you will have to check your food yourself."
Minerva nodded, and Harry went through the spell. Once he finished, a lamp blew up in the corner of the room.
They both looked at it for a moment. "Albus gifted that to me." Minerva said after a moment.
Then Lily began to slither down his legs, and he didn't understand why she was doing that, so he looked down for a moment.
What he saw was not what he was expecting.
She was slithering out of his pants, and Harry panicked for a moment. "Lilith! Get back inside!"
"Who's Lilith-" Minerva asked, but then she realized when she saw what he was looking at. "You brought a snake into my quarters without - wait what? Lily?"
Minerva's exclamation changed paths when she looked at the snake carefully.
She bent down to look at the snake carefully. "Well, you look exactly like Lily did."
Lily changed back into her human form and gave Minerva a huge hug. "Minerva, it is so good to see you!"
"But you're dead?" Minerva protested.
"I did die." Lily said, releasing Minerva from the hug. "But Voldemort was a sick bastard. So he stuck my soul inside Harry's body so that I could see Harry die. Then my runes and ritual messed with his attempt to kill Harry, and he kind of died but not really, and I was stuck in Harry until this summer."
"...I have so many questions."
~~~~~
Harry warded the place while Lily summarized everything to Minerva.
"You look… well you better than before, if I can say so." Minerva offhandedly commented while they were catching up.
"What do you mean?" Lily asked confusedly.
"Wait, let me get a picture." Minerva said, and she went through a door. A moment later, she returned with a frame. "See, this is a picture from a couple weeks before you died?" She said as she showed the picture of Lily, Minerva, James, and Sirius to Harry and Lily.
Sure enough, they did see what she meant. The Lily in the picture was very beautiful, but she didn't look the same as the Lily in real life. In the picture, Lily was a bombshell. She had straight hair, nicely shaped eyebrows, green eyes filled with life, beautiful lips, 32C boobs with a barely noticeable sag, moderate hourglass figure, a plump ass, and well shaped legs.
However, the past Lily could barely hold a candle to present Lily. Present Lily had straight hair that had a light bounce to it, perfectly sculpted eyebrows, bright green eyes, plump lips, 34DD boobs with no sag at all, perfectly hourglass figure, an ass that lightly jiggled with every step, but didn't look overly fat, and long legs that had the perfect combination of muscle and fat.
"...Wow, I didn't even realize that happened." Lily said in slight shock.
"Then how did it happen?" Harry asked, confused himself.
Lily spun to him, her eyes wide with eureka. "I know! Harry, it's you!"
He looked at her confusedly. "I never did that, I'd know if I did."
"No!" She exclaimed. "You didn't really do it, your magic did! Over the summer, you let your magic loose, right? It probably seeped everywhere, and into everyone! I bet if we all compared pictures, we'd see it!"
"That makes sense…" Harry said.
"No, it doesn't." Minerva said. "I may not be a good aura reader, but I know enough to tell that while Harry is strong enough to match Albus in power, it's not enough for what you're talking about."
Harry made a dome over them. "I'll release my magic, tell me if I'm strong enough."
"Alright." Minerva said sceptically. "But I doubt that you'll be strong enough for that."
Harry went through his mindscape, and found the field with his lion. He turned it into the manticore, releasing his magic.
"Holy Merlin." Minerva breathed, seeing his aura.
Harry brought his aura back in and turned into the lion once more. "Is that strong enough?"
"Yes." She said emphatically. "It was more than strong enough." She looked at Lily. "How could you focus on anything with such a strong aura nearby? Even dragons aren't that powerful!"
Harry broke the dome.
"Well, I guess we just got used to it." Lily said, shrugging. "At one point, it feels more like a blanket than a really large aura crowding over you. Come to think of it, I've never felt cold while Harry is in that form."
"I need to sleep on this." Minerva said. "Harry, tomorrow is Saturday, come here after dinner."
"Alright, Minerva." Harry said. "Good night."
"Yes yes, good night." She said absently.
Lily transformed into her snake form and got onto Harry, then Harry took them to Myrtle's bathroom. After making sure Myrtle wasn't there, he went to the sink with the snake emblem. "§ Open. §" He hissed, and the passageway appeared. "§ Stairs. §" He said, and stairs appeared.
He went down, closing the passageway after him.
He entered the Chamber of Secrets, and went to a pedestal, and placed the book he received from the chamber before on the pedestal. "Let's hope this works." Harry whispered to himself.
Harry took a deep breath. "I request to be blessed by the House and inherent Magics, and to be named Heir of House Slytherin." He said clearly.
The book started glowing, then it got so bright that Harry could no longer see the book, and Harry wanted to close his eyes, but he didn't. Vaguely, Harry felt Lily get off of him, but he was focused on the light.
Then the light began dimming, and where the book once was, there was a ring.
Harry observed it. It was silver, and had a green gem on its face. The face was shaped like a circle, and there was a carving on it. The carvings were shades of dark green against the light green of the gem, and they were in the shape of a basilisk biting its own tail.
Harry wore the ring, and felt its magic wash over him and fully bond with him.
" Took someone long enough to get it right. " A silky but caring voice said inside his head. " Well done, Harry, you're quite the interesting fella. "
" Lord Slytherin? " Harry asked mentally.
" Yes and No. Crudely defined, I'm a cross between a horcrux and a portrait. I'm basically a Mini-Me, but I will leave to rejoin my portrait soon. "
" That's my next test from you? " Harry asked. " I have to find your portrait? "
"Well, I actually expected you or any of my heirs to find the portrait a long time ago." Salazar said somewhat sheepishly. "But some things came in the way, so you didn't find it yet. Your next and last test was supposed to be to awaken the portrait, but now you have to find it as well. The only hint I'll give you is that you need a fully grown basilisk to awaken the portrait. For now, anything in the Chamber is yours, all the doorways have been opened. The only thing you cannot yet access is my personal office. However, you may access my public office. Farewell, Harry James Potter."
Harry felt Salazar's presence leave, and Harry sighed.
He observed the new look of the Chambers. The Basilisk was still lying there dead, but the room now had several doorways, and one of the walls was no longer there, instead it was just several pillars that led to a room with couches.
Lily looked at him proudly. "Congratulations, Heir Slytherin."
"This is so cool." Harry said.
Harry could feel the ring telling him everything about the Chamber, and he showed everything to Lily.
Once he was done giving her the tour to her new quarters, he went to the public office and sat on the chair in front of the large and intricately designed desk.
"Well, I'll have to send a message to the others, let them know I'm ok, and what I've discovered. After that, I can go to sleep. I bet the beds here are really comfortable."
"Aren't you going to have to sleep in your dorm?" Lily asked.
"I have a clone there." Harry said. "I don't think I'll be able to do this all the time though."
Harry opened his trunk, then he released Hedwig, took a parchment, dipped his quill in a bottle of blue ink and began writing his message.
Hey Cissa, Andi, Nymphadora, Sirius, and Cassie!
I hope you guys are doing okay. Mum and I got here ok. The train ride was nice; at first I was with Ron and Hermione, who are die hard on Dumbledork's side, but then I left them, and met three nice girls. Their names are Daphne Greengrass, Astoria Greengrass, and Tracey Davis. Tracey and Daphne are in my year, and Astoria is a year below us. We played Monopoly over the train ride, and Mum took a liking to Tracey. Guess what though!? I found out what this year's main assassination attempt will be! They're having the Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts! Except instead of Triwizard Tournament, they're having five more schools entering, making it the Octawizard Tournament. I'm pretty sure you'll all hear this on the news tomorrow. Also, the new Defense teacher is Barty Crouch Jr acting as Alastor Moody. He has a flask of wine at his hip, but it actually is Polyjuice. I also had half a fight against Dumbledore when he called me to his office. Also, Professor McGonagall (she told me to call her Minerva) knows a good amount about me. Not about the whole Superior Animagus stuff, but everything else. She's on our side, she even talked to Mum and all that jazz. Speaking of, Minerva and Mum found something out. You guys should look at pictures of yourself from days before I got my manticore form, and compare it to how you look right now. We compared a picture of Mum weeks before she died, to her current form. Apparently my magic just seeped into everyone and made us all stronger.
Anyways, that's it!
Andi, please feed Hedwig some bacon.
Love all of you,
Harry.
Harry dipped his Slytherin ring in a bottle of green ink, then he stamped the letter. He prepared the parchment, then he gave it to Hedwig. "Take it to Grimmauld Place, please, Hedwig. Andi will give you bacon."
Hedwig looked at the letter for a moment, then she extended her talon.
Harry clipped the letter to her leg, then she flew off.
LEMON STARTING DOM/SUB SEX
Harry looked under the desk, then he reached down and combed his hands through Lily's hair.
"I'm about to cum, Mum." Harry said.
Lily quickened her pace, and within moments, Harry exploded in her mouth.
She took all his cum into her mouth, not letting a drop out, while Harry could see the outline of his dick in her throat.
When he finished cumming, she took his dick out of his mouth and opened her mouth, showing him the pool of cum in her mouth.
She noisily gulped it all down,then she got out from under the desk, and Harry was made speechless by her outfit.
She was wearing gold earrings that had green emeralds that were shaped like chimes, and a sparkling red strapless dress that gave a healthy view of her boobs, then there were was an open seam in the the front that showed her boobs pushed against each other and straining to be released from their cage; if it hadn't been for the shining red and silver elastic ties, her boobs would have fallen out of the dress. The dress clung to her like a second skin, displaying her curves and hourglass figure so sinfully, but it was only for one person, and he was right in front of her. When the dress reached her waist, there were two cuts on the sides, giving Harry teases of her asscheeks. The shining red and silver elastic ties were straining against the size of her ass, and it looked like if her ass was any larger, the straps would have ripped. The dress stopped mid thigh, but it didn't stop there. She was wearing sparkling red fishnet stockings, and she was wearing red heels as well.
Lily spinned, letting Harry see that she had her pretty red wolf tail poking out of her dress and wagging nervously.
"When did you get all this?" Harry asked when he found his voice again.
"The week before the case." Lily said, nervously twirling a lock of her hair. "I wanted this time to be special, because it was just going to be me and you, and you made today a special day, when you did that spell on me, and I wanted you to enjoy today as much as I would, so I asked Nymphadora and Narcissa for help, then we -"
"You look beautiful, Mum." Harry said, cutting her rambling off. "I'm not sure whether I want to rip all those clothes off you, or if I want to take those clothes off slowly."
Lily's smile slowly widened. "Well, if you're indecisive, I'll just take them off for you and be in the bedroom." She said, strutting out of the room, her ass taut because of the heels and still jiggling, and her tail wagging excitedly.
As soon as she left the room, Harry's mind caught up with her statement.
"You minx!" He exclaimed running after her, following the sound of the clicking heels, chiming earrings, and her twinkling laugh.
He turned a corner, just to see her tail as it went around another corner.
He chased her towards the main bedroom, but she caught him unawares in the hallway by jumping at him and kissing him aggressively. He responded immediately, and took control of the kiss. She broke the kiss to take a breath, and ripped his shirt off.
Harry grabbed her by the thighs, then he pushed her against the wall and kissed her ferociously.
She hooked her heels into his pants, then pushed it down, taking his pants off and leaving him completely naked.
"Well, only one of us is naked, that's not fair." Harry whispered, then he kneaded her asscheeks.
Lily moaned. "The straps can be untied."
Harry immediately put his hand to the elastic laces, and with one pull, he untied it.
"Someone's eager." She teased.
"Of course I am." Harry growled, then he took her and threw her onto the bed, and she squealed and giggled.
She rolled so that she was on all fours, then she raised her tail up, pushing the dress up so he could see her ass and pussy covered by nothing except for the fishnet stockings.
"C'mon Alpha." She said, wagging her tail and ass. "Put some babies in this bad wolf."
Harry went to her, then he slapped her asscheeks. "You're such a bad bitch, aren't you?"
"Yes, Alpha." Lily said.
Harry transformed his privates so that he had two dicks, and then he positioned them, then with one thrust, he ripped through the fishnet and sheathed himself in her ass and pussy.
"Ugh!" Lily said in a mixture of pain and pleasure. "That's the biggest you've ever put in either of them."
Harry grabbed her hair and pulled her head back, drawing a moan of pain from her. "Did I ever ask you to tell me something I know?" He asked, already beginning to thrust.
Her only support from him was from his hands that were roughly pulling her hair, so whenever Harry thrusted into her, he pushed her head forward too, which made her hair get pulled tighter.
"No-o yo-u did-n't, Al-pha." She screamed between thrusts.
"Exactly." Harry said. "So shut up."
Harry increased the size of his dicks as well as his pace.
"Yo-ur di-ck, Al-pha." She moaned.
"What about it?" He asked, slowing his pace so she could take more comfortably.
"It's hitting the back of the womb you once lived in." She moaned.
Harry almost came to the thought, but he held himself back. "You're such a dirty minded bitch." He said, slapping her ass. "That thought turns you on, doesn't it?"
"Yes, Alpha." She moaned. "I want to give you sisters to fuck."
"Hmm." Harry said, going a little faster. "Suuch a dirty little bitch. I wonder how Petunia would react to knowing her freak sister actually thinks like a freak."
"Maybe you can make her your slave, Alpha." Lily said. "Put your magic in her and make her look pretty. Fuck the freakiness into her."
"Maybe." Harry said.
The thought did turn him on, but now wasn't the time to think about that.
"Do you want my cum in you, Mum?" Harry asked as he felt himself nearing his limit.
"Yes, Alpha!" Lily moaned.
"Who's cum do you want in you?" He asked.
"Yours, Alpha!"
"Here you go." He said, and released.
Midway through, he slapped her ass. "You can cum now."
Immediately, a torrent of her cum started to spew out of her pussy. "Alphaaaaa." She moaned.
When they were done, Lily's stomach looked like she was a few months pregnant, and the bed behind her looked like it had been blasted by Aguamenti.
"Let's go at it again." Lily said once she caught her breath.
~~~~~
The next morning, Harry woke up to an empty bed.
He looked to the side, and saw a note on the nightstand.
Harry,
I'm making breakfast.
-Lily
Harry got up and headed to the kitchen, where he found Lily flipping pancakes while wearing nothing except for an apron.
Harry came behind her and hugged her, putting his hands on her swollen belly and letting his hard dick touch her asshole and her tail.
First she jumped, then she calmed down. "You surprised me, Harry." She said.
"Kinda the point." He said, rubbing his chin against her shoulder.
She bumped her ass against his hips, rubbing his dick against her still tired crotch. "Let's have breakfast first."
She placed the last pancakes on the two plates. "Take a seat, Harry. I can't move around with you like this."
Harry grudgingly took his seat.
Lily placed his plate in front of him, then she took her plate and placed it on the floor.
Harry looked at her confusedly, wondering why she was doing that.
Lily smirked, then she stood on top of the plate, with her back to Harry. Then she squatted on top of the plate. At first, nothing happened, then a rope of cum shot out of her asshole and onto her pancakes. After a minute, there were ten ropes of cum on her pancakes.
"Did you like the show?" She asked while she ate.
"I enjoyed it." He said honestly. "But I have to go quickly, I'm running out of energy to hold my clone, I don't want everyone to be suspicious."
Lily frowned. "Can you at least finish your breakfast here and have a quickie with me?"
"I suppose I can." Harry said, then they both began to scarf down their food.
Lily finished first, then she jumped out of her chair and landed on all fours, with all of her body turned into her wolf form except for her ass, but she still had her red tail, just like Harry liked.
Harry finished his food and just grabbed her, not giving her a chance to even yelp before he speared her on his dick.
Lily howled at the sudden intrusion, then she began panting when Harry started pushing her up and down his dick. She didn't even have the option to attempt to take control, her legs were swinging in the air. Harry took her closer to a wall, and she transformed into her human form barring her tail and her ears, then she used the wall to brace herself while Harry fucked her from behind. Unfortunately, her attention was somewhat broken mid transformation, so her teeth and tongue retained most of their characteristics from her wolf form. Her tongue was still hanging out of her mouth, and she was panting and dropping slobber all over her boobs while Harry fucked her. Eventually, he came into her, not even giving her a warning, then she came as well. When they were done, Harry laid her on the bed, then kissed her on the cheek and left, all before she woke out of her post sexual daze.
LEMON OVER
Harry felt somewhat guilty to have left Lily just like that, but he was in a rush. Quickly, he wore his clothes, then he got out and hid in a discreet position, waiting for the clone to appear. It did, and then Harry absorbed it into himself and continued towards the Great Hall.
Harry took his usual seat at the table, and Ron and Hermione joined him after a moment.
"Hey guys." Harry greeted.
"How are you doing, Harry?" Hermione asked. "Are you going to murder any students?"
"No, none of the students are rapist murderers." Harry said in a conversational tone. "What about you guys? Have you told Dumbledork all about my conversations with you guys? Or have you guys given him the memories?"
Their faces paled, revealing the truth to him, and all the focus of the Gryffindor table was on him.
"Let me guess, you two have always been in his pocket for as long as I've known you and more?" They tried to conceal their reactions to him, but it was too obvious. "See, that's the thing about getting children as spies without training. You guys don't know how to hide your reactions. Let me guess, Ron, Dumbledore promised you all of my money. But what about you, Hermione?" Her eyes flitted towards the book in her hand, and Harry was truly angered at the revelation. "He promised you the Potter library?"
According to Andromeda, the Potters were known to have the best library with the rarest and best tomes money or anything could find, no other pureblood house could even hope to have such a library, the only library that could possibly be as large would be the Flamel's.
"I may not have yet been able to visit the library, Hermione, but that place contains books placed there by so many of my ancestors." Harry growled quietly. "This is Line Theft, and I am truly disappointed to see you fall so low. Let me guess, me saving you from the troll was also a set-up, wasn't it?"
Hermione's guilty expression told it all.
"Both of you may no longer call me Harry." He said angrily. "The ship has sailed. You may call me Heir Potter if you wish to speak with me."
"Of course." Ron said. "Just hide behind your titles and money, and leave your friends."
"Friends that seem to have been attempting to steal his money." Fred said as he and George came up to them.
George looked at Harry. "We were unaware of all this, and we apologize for any damages House Weasley may have incurred upon you. Our father will contact you to discuss reparations."
Harry nodded, and Fred and George roughly dragged Ron away, leaving Hermione.
"I could kill you in plain sight, and everyone would write it down as an accident." Harry said. "What Dumbledore and you two have going on is the greatest offense that can happen in the magical world. I'm angrier at you than I am at Ron, though. You know why, Hermione?" She nodded her head. "Because money can come and go. But those books are more precious to me than anything. That is generations upon generations of family corporation and history in those books."
Hermione looked moved to tears. "Headmaster Dumbledore wanted to keep you safe. He said you were going to die because of what happened when You-Know-who tried to kill you. He said that for us to help you would be the best thing we could do."
"And the books were just an amazing plus, right?" Hermione didn't respond. "I'll decide what to do with you later, but remember that you still owe me two life debts. One from when I saved you from the troll, and another from when I saved you from the dementors."
Harry ignored her, and started to eat his toast.
"Harry-" Hermione tried to say.
"Heir Potter, Hermione." He said, cutting her off.
"Heir Potter, then." She said begrudgingly. "Headmaster Dumbledore said you're going to die. He wanted to give you a good few years until you died."
"You mean until he sent me to my death." Harry said. "These things aren't for a traitor like you to know, but all you need to know is that I destroyed the curse that was going to kill me. Tell Dumbledore that his bindings on my magic have been broken as well."
Hermione left in tears.
Harry looked at everyone, forcing everyone who was looking at him to avert their eyes. He observed his surroundings, and saw that the closest person to him was Neville Longbottom.
"Heir Longbottom." He said cordially. "How was the show?"
Neville hesitated for a moment. "It was long overdue, Heir Potter and Black."
Harry nodded. "I suppose it was." He paused. "What electives are you taking?"
"Runes and Arithmancy." Neville said. "And you?"
"Runes, Arithmancy, and Magical Creatures."
"Why the change, Ha- Heir Potter?" Neville asked.
"You may call me Harry, Heir Longbottom." Harry said. "As for why I changed subjects, Divination is a class that only those who have Sight should take."
"Call me N-Neville." Neville said, stuttering slightly. "Are you going to be able to catch up with our year?"
"I think I should be able to." Harry said with a smirk. "But why did you choose your electives?"
"I thought it might help me with my plants." Neville said shyly.
"So you're into Herbology, huh?" Harry said, even though he already knew that to an extent.
"Yeah." Neville said.
"Hey, do you know what the rules are about bringing our own house elves?" Harry asked.
"I think we can bring them, but no one really does it." Neville said unsurely.
"Well, I trust my elf more than I trust Hogwarts' house elves, so I know I'm going to use mine instead." Harry said, shrugging. "I'd advise you to do the same, the elves could put any sort of potions in our foods without warning."
Neville paled. "That's true. But I didn't see you check your food."
"Look at my hand." Harry said.
Neville looked at his right hand, which was on the table and had nothing unusual to it.
"Not that one, the other one." Harry said, gesturing to under the table.
Neville looked, and saw the Heir Slytherin ring on his left ring finger.
Neville's eyes widened.
Harry smirked. "I'm keeping it on the down low for the next few days, but you're the seventh person in school to be in on this."
"Do Ron and Hermione know?" He asked fearfully. "If they do, then they'll tell Dumbledore."
"Not a fan of his?" Harry asked sarcastically.
"Gran taught me better than to trust him." Neville said.
"Then she's right on that count." Harry said. "But no, they don't know."
"Then who does?" Neville asked.
"Well, there are the people who will eventually tell the whole school, Malfoy and his stooges." Harry said, smirking. "Then there are three… new friends of mine. They're Slytherins, so I trust that they won't spill without good reason."
"Malfoy is a Slytherin too." Neville commented.
"Oh please, he's just about as rash as any of the idiotic Gryffindors." Harry said. "Keep in mind though, I'm not calling you an idiotic Gryffindor," he paused and adopted a shit eating grin, "yet."
They both chuckled lightly at the joke.
"Well," Harry said. "I've some studying to do, so I'll see you at lunch. Till then, Neville."
"See you then, Harry." Neville said, and Harry stood up and left the Great Hall, many eyes following him.
For the next few hours, he read whatever the Chamber of Secrets library had on basilisks and how to grow them.
Then he left for a quick lunch with Neville in the Great Hall, then he returned to his studying.
When it was dinnertime, he left the Chamber of Secrets and entered the Great Hall, taking his seat next to Neville.
"Hey, Neville." He said.
"Hey, Harry." He responded.
"What did you do between lunch and dinner?"
"Oh, nothing much, I just took care of some of the plants in the greenhouses, I'm trying to work up to ask Professor Sprout for her apprenticeship."
Apprenticeships were a practice commonly done after people finished their schooling, but if someone sought an apprenticeship with one of the teachers at their school, they could. Problem was, most of the teachers only took the very best students as apprentices.
"Did she ever take an apprentice before?" Harry asked.
"No." Neville said. "Plenty of people have asked her, but she's never accepted."
"Well, good luck." Harry said genuinely. "You're invested in the field, and you love the plants. I'm pretty sure she'll take you in."
"Yeah, it's just a dream." Neville said, as if he didn't expect to be able to get the apprenticeship.
"Why do you think you won't receive it?" Harry asked confusedly. In all his time around Neville, even before today, he seemed like an average student who had problems with confidence, but Harry didn't understand why he was so insecure.
"Well, I barely have any magic." Neville said dejectedly, running his fingers over his wand. "I can barely even use my father's wand, no matter how hard I try."
"Wait a second, Nev." Harry said, not registering that he gave Neville a nickname. "You're telling me you're using your father's wand?"
"Yeah, I'm trying to live up to him." Neville said. "Gran said he was a great Auror."
"Neville, remember earlier I told Hermione that I broke the bindings Dumbledore put on my magic?" Harry asked.
Neville nodded.
Harry brought his own wand out of the holster. "Well, guess what. That changed my magic, quite literally. I haven't been able to find a wand that agrees with my magic yet. Right now, whenever I use my wand, I have to be careful not to blow it up or something. The wand chooses the wizard, not the other way around. Your magic is unique. Here, how about this? I have plans to ask Professor McGonagall to allow me to go to Diagon Alley and get a new wand, how about you come with me?"
"You're sure it will change something?" Neville asked sceptically.
"Yes." Harry said. "It will definitely help you with your practical work. You'll still have to study the theoretical items, but still. You'll find yourself excelling in class. You can keep your dad's wand though, as a memory to him."
Neville thought it over for a moment, then he nodded. "I guess I can."
Harry nodded, then they began to eat their dinner. Halfway through, he saw Minerva coming towards him with a visibly upset look.
"May I do something for you, Professor McGonagall?" He asked once she was near enough.
"Come." She said, grabbing his arm somewhat harshly and pulling him out of his table.
As soon as they were out of the Great Hall, Minerva glared at him. "Set up a privacy dome, now!"
Harry immediately drew his wand and enchanted in Parseltongue.
"Did you have to attack Dumbledore again so fast?" She exclaimed. "He was going to send Severus to take you to his office for harassment and threatening two students! What did you do?"
"Hermione and Ron were Albus' spies." Harry said. "They were aiming at killing me off and taking my inheritance."
"Harry, you are going to have detention with me for the next week after dinner." Minerva said with a sigh. "You need to stop doing reckless things."
"Today wasn't planned!" Harry exclaimed. "Besides, she was attempting Line Theft! She wanted to get the Potter Library! You know the worth of that! I wouldn't have threatened her at all! But that is the work of my family, and for her to attempt to rob it is beyond what I can take sitting down!"
Minerva sighed. "I get that, Harry. I really do. But for now, you will have to make sure I know your overall plan. I can't just try to salvage your situations like I am doing right now."
"After the meeting, then." Harry said.
Minerva nodded, and Harry broke the dome, to see Severus standing in front of the dome and waiting for them.
"Impressive privacy dome, Heir Potter." Snape said. "Unfortunately, it seems that you have been unsuccessful at subduing Minerva, and I must take you to the Headmaster and tell him that you attempted to accost a teacher. Minerva, go to Poppy and make sure that you are alright."
Minerva looked like she wanted to protest, but a glare from Snape that somehow seemed understanding stopped her, and she left.
"What do you want from me, Snape?" Harry asked as he was being pulled towards the office by Snape.
Snape turned to look Harry in the eyes.
Harry felt Snape attempt to access his mind, but not to read it, almost as if he wanted to send a message.
Harry let Snape into an interrogation room in his mindscape, and handcuffed him to the table.
"Impressive prison." Snape commented when Harry appeared in the room.
"What do you want?" Harry asked.
"I want to get out of the old goat's hands." Snape said. "It seems you were successful at that, so I'm coming to you to ask for help."
"I can't do that." Harry said with a scoff.
"You already have Minerva off the compulsion and loyalty charms and potions." Snape said. "It won't be too hard to get the others off as well."
"Why aren't you under them?" Harry asked.
"I make them for him." Snape said. "I know enough to check my food."
"Ok, say I believe you." Harry said. "What do you want me to do?"
"There's a rule in the charter." Snape said. "If three Heads of Houses as well as the Deputy Headmaster agree on something, they can veto the Headmaster. Get Filius and Pomona out of Albus' spells, and they'll be in your pocket. I'll fight against them as a cover. I'll be able to tell you most of Albus' plans a day or two before they come into action."
"Minerva can do that." Harry said.
"Fine!" Snape said. "Let me tell you something Minerva doesn't have any idea about! This whole Octawizard Tournament bullshit is just a cover!"
"I knew that." Harry said amusedly. "I chose to go to Gryffindor rather than going to Slytherin, Severus."
"But you don't know what it's a cover for." Snape said with a smirk.
"They'll attempt to kill me, simple." Harry said with a shrug. "The events will be carefully concealed attempts at breaking me."
"... You're more of a Slytherin than half of the dunderheads in my House." Snape said in surprise. "But that's the point of the Tournament, yes. But what you don't know Dumbledore plans that you'll face Voldemort after the last test, when you're fully broken. How, I don't know, but I know he plans to let a Death Eater trap you with Voldemort."
Harry paused and looked at Snape to judge if he was telling the truth. When he saw that Snape was being truthful, he started laughing uncontrollably.
"This is the best plan the barmy old coot has ever made!" Harry finally said, wiping tears from his eyes. "I wonder if Grindelwald helped him make it! Bathilda did say that Grindelwald was always the better master planner."
"So, do we have a deal?" Snape asked.
Harry leaned forward, serious and with a glare. "Tell me, Severus, why should I trust a rapist murderer? You have the Dark Mark."
Snape sighed. "Me and Regulus, truly, we never went through all that. We were disgusted by that, but it was too late to back out. We stole the… fluids after a Death Eater attack which we weren't members of. We never participated in the raids because we said it disagreed with our stomachs. However, we did join whenever we had a fight. We were more useful as potioneers and researchers."
"Swear on your magic that what you said was true." Harry said.
"I swear on my magic that my previous statement was only the truth." Snape said after a moment.
"Well, you'd have dropped out of the mindscape if that was a lie, so good on you." Harry said. "I guess we have a deal. But I won't hesitate to kill you should you switch sides to either of the two. I expect full reports after meetings with either Dumbledore or Voldemort, understood?"
"Yes." Snape said.
"Then we have a deal." Harry said, shaking Snape's hand.
Harry let him out of the mindscape, then Snape roughly grabbed his arm and took him to Dumbledore's office.
"Come in." Albus called when they reached the door.
Snape entered, and pushed Harry into a chair. "I've brought the brat, Albus."
Harry observed his surroundings. Albus was sitting on his chair, and Ron and Hermione were sitting on two chairs, and Snape was standing to the side, facing none of them and looking like he wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Please don't use such knowledge, Severus." Albus admonished. "We are all friends here." Then he faced Harry while Snape scoffed. "Harry, care to tell me why you threatened to kill Miss Granger?"
"I don't know, Albus." Harry said. "Why were you three attempting Line Theft?"
Albus sighed deeply. "It seems you are still delusional." Harry scoffed at that, but Albus ignored him. "I hope you understand that what you're speaking of is a lie you made."
Harry was genuinely confused, and he didn't bother hiding that. "No, I don't understand what you mean by that. Hermione very clearly said that you believed that I would die to the horcrux, and that it was for the best that they would inherit my belongings as they were my friends."
Albus turned to Ron and Hermione. "Please do leave, I fear that Harry might attack you. I will take care of this."
They left without a word, but Ron glared at Harry.
Dumbledore raised his eyebrows at Harry once they left. "You know of the horcrux?"
"I destroyed it, with help." Harry said.
"This is truly troubling." Albus said. "You're trying to stop me from bringing the world to order, Harry, and I can't have you doing that."
"I'm doing the same thing." Harry said. "The difference between you and me is that you want you and Grindelwald to be rulers of the world. Me, I want to stop that and Voldemort, then I want to go live somewhere with my family and not be bothered anymore."
"That would bring chaos to the world." Dumbledore said. "Listen Harry, the people don't know what they need. What they need is true order. Look at the Ministry! It is filled with corruption! But if there is no Ministry, there will be no corruption. Come join me, and we will make the world listen to us. You can have whatever you want. Money, mansions, women, men, anything."
Harry looked at Snape incredulously. "I can't believe you're listening to the megalomaniac talk without reaction."
"I've been promised a high position in his regime." Snape said. "You should join us, brat. If you were smarter than your father, you'd know a good deal when you received one."
Harry stood up. "I've had enough of this dance. You'll have to kill everyone else in the world before I think of joining a tyrant."
Albus drew his wand, and before Harry could react, he cast. " Avada Kedavra! "
The spell went towards Harry as his eyes widened, then it hit his chest, but there was no reaction.
They were all speechless.
Harry took advantage of the moment of shock and ran out of the office, into an empty classroom.
Harry looked where the spell hit him, eyes widened. "Why am I still alive?"
Then a cloak materialized around him, and his eyes widened in understanding. "Well, how's that for unkillable, Albus?" He said to himself.
He was testing the Cloak earlier today, and he found that he could make it invisible without making himself invisible, and he could make it visible while remaining visible as well. Apparently, it can block spells if he focuses on blocking the spell.
"What happened in the office?" Someone asked from behind him, and he jumped in shock.
He calmed down when he realized that it was Minerva. "Oh, it's just you."
"Are you ok?" She asked confusedly. "You look like you just escaped death."
"That's exactly what happened." He said in a hysterical tone. "Oh my God, I just defeated the killing curse again."
"How are you still alive then?" She asked, surprised.
But he wasn't paying attention, instead he was pacing and rambling. "That was too close. I could have died. I'm too young to die. I still have to have kids. I still have to defeat Voldemort. I still have to defeat Dumbledore. Oh, Merlin, if I died, who would take care of Mum, Andi, and Cissa? I was so stupid! I nearly die-"
Minerva grabbed him by the shoulders and spun him so he faced her. Her face was fierce, but when she saw her fearful and shocked expression, her expressions softened. "Hey, it's ok, Harry. You're still alive. How you did doesn't matter for now. Yes, you were stupid. Right now, you're going to have a calming cup of tea with me."
Clearly, nearly dying was too much for him, and he broke into tears.
Minerva was unsure what to do, but in the end she decided to hug him, which helped him ground himself.
"I'm sorry." He said, parting from her.
"As long as we never mention that again, and it never happens again, it's alright." She said sternly.
Harry nodded silently.
When she saw he was still in shock, she took his hand and dragged him. "Come, you really need a cup of tea."
When she reached the door to her quarters, the giggling ladies focused on them. "Oh, look, she's brought him again!" Center one said.
"Now's not the time, ladies." Minerva said. "Tranquility. Now let me go."
Realizing that Minerva was in no mood to joke, they opened the pathway.
Minerva sat him on her chesterfield couch, then she went and prepared two cups of tea.
(A.N.: search it up, you'll understand the type of couch it is. It's not necessarily essential to the story, but that couch seemed best for this setting.)
She returned, then she gave him his cup and sat next to him, drinking his tea and waiting for him to gather himself.
"That's not my first time nearly dying." Harry said blankly after a while. "I don't know what happened this time. Hell, I nearly died the other day, after the World Cup. I took a nasty curse to the stomach to save Andi. I wasn't like this. But that time she was the one who went hysterical about me nearly dying."
"Who's Andi?" Minerva asked.
"She's Andromeda Black Tonks." Harry said. "We met during the summer, and she's stayed with me over the summer."
"She's your lover?" She asked, detecting that in his words about her.
"...yes." Harry said.
Minerva took a sip of her tea. "Well then, tell me, what were you thinking when you took the curse for her?"
"I was thinking that I had to save her. If I pushed her away, it would hit Nymphadora, who was ten feet behind her. So I took the curse."
"And what were you thinking when the killing curse was reaching you?"
"I was thinking about how I didn't want to leave Andi, Cissa, Mum, and Sirius so early." Harry sipped his tea. "I just got my family, I could not leave them that early."
"And that's why you were hysterical." Minerva said. "You were afraid this time. The other times, you may have had reasons to fear death, but you had no reason to fear dying. With the troll, you were fighting to save Miss Granger. With Quirrel, you saw him burn to death before he could truly attempt to kill you, and I doubt you truly found yourself a reason to live like you have now. With the basilisk, you were fighting to save Miss Weasley. With the dementors, you had to save Sirius. At the World Cup, you saved Madame Tonks. But now, you had no one to die for, but you had every reason to live."
"She goes by Madame Black these days." Harry muttered.
"So you and Sirius have brought her back into the family? Well done. And may I assume that Cissa would be Narcissa Malfoy neé Black?"
"Yeah." Harry said. "She's been with us since that day."
Minerva reminisced. "Hmm. I remember when I first met Narcissa, she was a month old. Her grandfather's older sister, Cassiopeia, was my healthy rival while we were in school, then we became friends out of school. Then she joined Grindelwald, and then after the war was over, she and I went back to being friends, then she died."
"Uhh, Minerva?" Harry said nervously. "Cassie isn't dead, that was just a way for her to get under the radar."
"But I saw the body." Minerva said.
"It probably was a transfigured boulder." Harry said. "Because she's been at our place since the World Cup, and she has the Black family magic."
"So that- that heartless bitch decided to run away, and make me think that she was dead for fifty years!?" Minerva exclaimed. She turned to Harry. "When you go back home for Winter Break, you are taking me. I need to have words with that woman."
Harry gulped. "Yes, Minerva."
"Good." Minerva said. "How is she?"
"Uhm, she looks good." Harry said. "She's very sarcastic, and tough, and I'm pretty sure the only reason she hasn't killed me is because I'm what's bringing House Black to honor."
"She makes everyone think they're about to die at their hands." Minerva said with a chuckle. "Has she hexed you yet?"
"No."
"Then she likes you." Minerva said. "Nice to know she's doing good as always. Anyways, how did you survive the killing curse?"
"Remember how I said that Albus has the Elder Wand?" Harry asked.
"Yes?" Minerva said, not seeing the connection.
Harry gestured to the cloak he had on. "This is the Invisibility Cloak, and it can block the killing curse, apparently."
"How did you get it?" She asked.
"Family heirloom." Harry said. "The Peverells married into the Potters, and it came to us from there."
"Is there a chance that your library has tomes from them?" Minerva asked.
"I don't know, I've never been there." Harry said.
"Why not? You act like you respect the library, so why haven't you?"
"I can't access the Potter properties." Harry said. "To do that, I'd need the Heir Potter ring. To get that, I'd have to be accompanied into Gringotts by the wielder of the Lord Potter ring. To do that, there'd have to be a Lord Potter still alive. I confirmed with Gringotts that both rings are with them, but I cannot get either until I become an adult. Then I can become Lord Potter and access my properties and vaults."
"Then how could Hermione have accessed the library?"
"Albus had goblins in his pay, goblins I helped find and execute."
Minerva nodded as if that was exactly what she expected, which to be honest, she kind of did. Not the goblins being Albus' pawns, but Harry having them killed. He no longer seemed to have much mercy for his enemies. But maybe he never did, after all, Quirrel and the Basilisk were both dead, and his Patronus was rumored to have the ability to kill dementors.
"And where's Lily?" She asked when she realized that she wasn't here.
"She's in the Chamber of Secrets." Harry said.
"Hmm." Minerva said.
For the next forty minutes, they talked, Harry explaining his plans, and Minerva telling him stories of her days as a Hogwarts student, then some stories of the Marauders during their days at Hogwarts.
When an hour was over, Minerva stood up. "Well, Harry, earlier today, I told you you'd have detention for a week. Then you went on and nearly got killed. So now, you have detention for a month with me. You will join me over here after dinner for an hour. Occasionally, I will have you do things here. Is that understood?"
Harry stood up as well. "Yes, Minerva. However, I have one request."
"What is it?" Minerva asked. "If it is feasible, I will accept it."
"As you saw yesterday, my magic is… very strong. However, my wand only agrees with me when I'm in this state, but it doesn't agree fully. I need to get a new wand. On top of that, Neville Longbottom has been using his father's wand for the past few years. I suspect the wand doesn't agree with his magic."
"What do you want, then?" Minerva asked.
"Next weekend, can you take us to Ollivander's? I doubt he will have a wand for me, but he might be able to help. He should be able to give Neville a wand as well."
"I'd rather not have either of you starting the year being held back. Tomorrow is Sunday, you will both be outside by 10 A.M." Minerva said. "Is that agreeable?"
"I suppose it is." Harry said. "But I honestly don't expect to match with any of his wands, and I want you to understand that. I'm just going there for the connections."
"We'll see, Harry." Minerva said. "Tonight, go to sleep."
"Good night, Minerva."
"Good night, Harry."
