Lincoln and his family will try to convince Haiku's parents to let her live with them
The next day, Lincoln woke up worried and stressed. Everything because today he was to find out if he could help Haiku and to be honest, he didn't want to fail her. He just wasn't a guy who give fake hope, so he really wanted his parents to accept his plan. With this think, the boy stood up from a bed and stretched with a crash of bones.
Then Lincoln took his clothes, went from his room, and stood in the queue for the bathroom. White-haired boy was one of the last so he had a perfect occasion to wondering what he should do if his plan fails. To be honest, he had no idea and felt, in this case, he will be forced to give up. However, it would mean disappointed the girl and it was the last thing he wants. He could think longer about the worst possibilities but suddenly felt how something embrace him in the waist.
To his shock, Lucy hugged him, which surprised him even more than her sudden appearance. It wasn't secret his gothic sister wasn't somebody who showing feeling and each such moment was priceless. So, Lincoln did not hesitate to return the embrace, asking:
- Wow, Lucy what happened?
-I just thank you, brother, for the help of the tormented soul of my friend. - Lucy explained when moments later broke the hug.
- We still don't know if our parents will accept my plan. -he replied worriedly.
- I feel anxiety in your soul- Goth replied monotonously before strengthening the hug and added: - But don't worry ghosts said everything would go well and your success will bring you wonderful fruits
- Thanks, Lucy maybe I do not fully believe in such things, but I needed it. - Lincoln thanked and kissed his sister in the forehead.
- No problem, brother. Just don't worry remember ghosts are by your side. - Goth assured and returned to her affairs.
- Lucy is right, don't assume the darkest possible. Get it? - Luan joked caused a moan of irritation from everybody.
- Thanks, but let's wait to breakfast. - The boy replied with a smile.
- breakfast? - Luna asked.
- I bet that then I get the answer - Lincoln shrugged.
- Why you think so? - Lynn asked.
- Cause It's a pretty possible option, sister unit number 5- Lisa said.
- Well, if Miss. egghead says so I will not argue with it. - Lynn said shrugging, before added - By the way can I ask what you will do if our parents agree?
- Well then after school we will visit Haiku's parents and will try to convince them. - Lincoln explained.
- Should I notify Haiku of your visit in this case? -Lucy asked without emotion.
- No Lucy, I will have a special task for you. - He denied.
- And can I ask what it is?
- Try to get Haiku out of the house, I'd like it to be a surprise. - The boy asked.
- I swear for my dark heart I will do my best. - Gothic sister promised.
- I'm sure about it. - Lincoln said putting a hand on her shoulder and smilied. Then he added: - Well I wanna continue but it's my turn.
- Thank you for your trust and see you in the dining room, brother .- Lucy said goodbye.
The boy just nodded and went to the bathroom leaving the rest of the sisters on the corridor.
Sometime later, Lincoln, already refreshed and dressed, went down to the dining room for breakfast. There he heard the typical buzz of his home, which was interrupted to welcome him. Sitting down, between Luna and Leni the boy returned the greeting. At the same time, the rest of the family returned to their affairs, and the boy put on fried eggs and toast. Lincoln started eating calm waiting when his parents will raise the topic of Haiku's possible residence with them. As he expected it happened after a while when his father caught his attention:
-Son.
- Yes? - Lincoln asked and similar to his sisters stopped eating to look at Lynn sr.
- We were talking with your mother about your idea and we aren't sure if it's a good idea.- Father stated confused and worried.
-Yes, honey, we are afraid that she may cause problems. - Rita added with the same emotion that her husband.
- Well, I don't know Haiku enough well to express your opinion on this subject. However, after our two meetings, I could say she is like second Lucy who, not counting Lilly, she is the least troublesome of my sisters.
-Hey!- Sisters shouted indignantly.
- But you are literally right, twerps.- -Lori agreed, provoking several voices of dissent and support, which drowned out for a moment a Loud boy.
Girls, calm down!- Lincoln a bit raised voice, before coughed and added:- Well as I said Haiku is like second Lucy so I don't think she would cause any troubles.
- And I can swear for my dark soul. Haiku and trouble do not appear in one sentence -Lucy interjected on this occasion, scaring everyone.
- God Lucy, do you want to scare us to death? - Lola asked accusing holding her chest.
- Sigh. being invisible, the painful monothony of my life. - Goth stated without emotion.
- Relax, Lucy, you will soon be sharing our lack of attention. Get it? - Luan joked causing a group moan of irritation.
- Even if the awful meaning of this joke is illuminated my dark soul. - Gothic sister said.
- So dear parents if we are talking about it. Have I dispelled all your doubts now? - The white-haired boy was intertwining his fingers.
- Well, son yes now we are surer about our answer. - Lynn sr stated
- And this is? - Lucy asked a bit curious.
- We Accept.- The parents looked at each other in agreement before said. Lincoln was ready to celebrate victory, but before he could his father warned him: - but Haiku, even as our guest, won't be treated special.
- Exactly she will have to help at home like everyone else and will take the same responsibility
- Well, I think We can accept these terms - Lincoln agreed, before Finished his juice.
- Great son, So what's now? - His mom asked.
- Well, it's obvious we must convince Haiku parents to our idea. - The boy stated as if it was most obvious thing around the world.
- You are right, champion but...- Lynn sr couldn't end cause his son interrupted him
- I'm sorry, but we will talk about it later if we don't want to be late for school.- The white-haired boy apologized when he noticed on the wall clock it's late.
- You are literally right, twerps. - The eldest sister agreed, then added authoritatively: - I see you in five minutes in Vanzilla.
After these words, the loud siblings hastily ate breakfast and rushed to Vanzilla and so, after less than five minutes, Van started divorcing them to school.
For Lincoln, the school day passed a bit too quickly, not giving him time to think about how to talk to Haiku's parents. Now a nervous boy was sitting on the one bench in front of the school and waiting on Lori. Luckily or not a few minutes ago she sent him a text she will be late cause the car again broke. So, the boy had extra time to wonder and decided to used it fully. So now he listened to music and was thinking of how he could convince them to acceptation his plan.
Unfortunately, he did not know them well enough to predict their reaction. However, probably they will not jump for joy at the thought of leaving their daughter with strangers. Lincoln could start wondering how to resolve it but at the same moment, he heard a horn and noticed that Lori finally came. The boy standing up from the bench collected his backpack and went to the Car. He wanted to sit in the middle row but before he could the passenger door opened. Lincoln surprised looked at his sister who probably wanted him to sit next to her:
- Come on, twerps. - She confirmed he supposes.
- Ok, Lori but why? - The boy agreed, taking the indicated place, and closing the door.
- I literally wanted to talk with you. -She explained and started a drive from parking.
-Probably about the conversation I'm going to have with Haiku's parents. Well, in short, I have no idea how to do it and I'm afraid. - Lincoln said fastening the seatbelts
- Afraid? - Eldest sister asked.
- Yeap except for Lucy, we are strangers for them, and I don't think they would be willing to leave our daughter with us. - Lincoln explained before scratched back of his head and added: - I just can't find a solution to this problem.
- Maybe you are trying too hard? Just relax and a solution will come naturally.- Lori suggested.
- I'm trying but I just can't. I just don't wanna disappointed her for such trivial reason. - The boy complained.
- Don't worry brother. - Lori said putting a hand on his shoulder before added: - After all, you are a man with a plan, and you will definitely come up with something.
- Thanks, Lori, You are right - He agreed with more encouragement and added with determination:- I will find a way to make them trust us.- Next, he asked: - So if you let me, I have to think.
- Fine, "man with a plan"- She said mockingly rolling her eyes.
After these words, Blonde focused on the road and the boy on the looking for a solution. In this way, they spent a few minutes until they arrived on their street and Lincoln suddenly said:
- I know what we must do.
- Really? So, what's your plan. - Eldest sister asked.
- The best option would be to meet them with all of us. - The white-haired boy said.
- It's literally not a bad idea. let me notify everyone and we'll meet in Vanzilia in an hour. - She said and parked car in front of their house.
- Ok, just tell them to be natural. - The boy said getting off the car.
- Fine twerps. - Lori agreed, closing the car and started moving toward home. Lincoln followed her
After a little over an hour and a half Vanilla parked in front of a pretty modern house which was composed of two rectangles arranged on top of each other. The first was set with the longer side to the street, and the second, based on its corner, was set with the shorter side and supported by a series of columns.
- I didn't expect that. - Lola getting off the car said surprised.
- I literally agree with you. - Lori getting off the Vanzilla agreed The rest of the Loud family did the same. The last one was Lincoln who checked the message from Lucy and said putting the phone back to pocket:
- Well, Lucy wrote we have over the two hours.
- Alright son, let us not waiting. - Lynn sr said and they moved toward the front door. However, before they could go arrived at them Lincoln stopped them:
-Wait.
-What Stincoln? -Lynn asked when like the rest looked at the boy.
- Well, it's my idea, so I think It's me who should talk with them. - Lincoln suggested.
- I think you are right, son. - Rita agreed.
- Well, probably there is literally no better person for this task.- Lori supported him
-If you use your persuasion skills, they certainly won't resist, -Lynn added, and the rest of the siblings also agreed that Lincoln would speak on their behalf. Encouraged, the boy entered the L-shaped black stone patio and walked to the massive front door, then rang the bell. A moment later the door was opened by a tall and skinny man in formal black and white suit and purple tie.
-How can I help a young man? - He stated cold and with haughty.
-Welcome mister Devoe my name is Lincoln and I'm a friend of your daughter. - Lincoln greeted giving his hand.

-Well, could we discuss it inside, -Lincoln asked.
-Of course, please come in, - the man invited them.
In this way, a loud family entered the house and went to the living room, where the host said:
- please make yourself comfortable, my wife will serve snacks.
After these words, everyone sat down, and a moment later a woman entered the living room carrying a dish of cakes. The woman put it on the glass table before also sat and then she welcomed:
-Welcome, I'm Shirley Devoe nice to meet you. - A loud family returned the greeting, each in their own style, and some even shaking the hand of the housewife. Then the woman looked at the husband and asked- - So honey what is the reason for this visit?

-Well, Mr. David, my idea is to make my parents Haiku's second legal guardians and let her live with us when your only task would be to pay for her stay with us - Lincoln explained caused a confused looked of both parents.

- Exactly We don't know you enough to leave our daughter with you. -The woman supported
-I'm aware of it- Lincoln said calmly, -that's why we're all here today to let you meet us better. What's more, I think it would be a good idea to spend the rest of this month with all of us to meet us better. So can you at least try meet us better before you give us the final answer?
I think we don't lose anything on it. What do you think honey? - The woman wondered,
"It doesn't hurt to try. - The husband agreed.
