Thechaosmaster: Oh, my FUCKING GOD! It has been almost an entire FUCKING year since I last updated.

Blossom: Where the hell have you been, boss?

Chaos: Look, this chapter has been kicking my ass ALL OVER WATERFALL! *Chaos grips left shoulder, I'll try to make this quick as possible. Also, before anyone reads this chapter, be ready for the long haul. That means, get some popcorn, get something to drink, because this is a monster. Why? Well, you remember this, right? *Holds up the prologue to DigiHearts 2* Well, throw that thing away for longest chapter. That went to Snowdin part 2 and I didn't even realize it. But don't bother putting a crown on that chapter. this one, is over 40,000 words.

Red: Holy, shit boss. That's insane!

Chaos: Yeah, I completely underestimated the length of Waterfall. Well, I'm gonna let you all read this and weep, because I wanna cry after finishing this. Be it, this chapter didn't come without a price.

Red: Price? Boss?

Chaos: Look, I played my Xbox for EVERYTHING, but, I use a wired controller, and, I must have fallen asleep playing or something, because I woke up one morning and found my Xbox on the ground. Now, it doesn't work at all. So, for my writing, I'm going to be using Jacksepticeye's playthrough. Note, I had this entire chapter written except for the Undyne fight when my Xbox died. So, *cough* well, before my arm beats myself to death, I'm going to teleport myself to the bottom and wait for you all there.

Chapter 6: Waterfall Pt 2: Geheimnisse der Tiefe

Chara's POV

After helping Frisky calm down after her possibly traumatic encounter with Undyne, the two of us left the room with the crystalized cheese, and no sooner did we do so did we see Sans standing nearby with a telescope. Uh, hold the phone, how did he get here? The only other ways into Waterfall is from Hotland, which that in itself would be impossible, and the second would be by the Riverperson. But their boat stop is down near Gerson's shop, so, he couldn't have gotten here this quickly.

Ignoring the strangeness that I am beginning to see that the Comic is known for, I watched as Frisky, my… girlfriend… Man, it was still hard to believe that Frisky and I are ACTUALLY dating! No doubt, if he was still alive right now, Azzie would be teasing me till the ends of the Earth if he knew that I was now dating a human girl. Dating Frisky. Well, sure we agreed to take baby steps and all that, but still…

After telling Frisky about my horrible past, I was afraid that… Well, I honestly don't really know what it was that I was afraid of. Maybe that she would have abandoned me, just like my birth parents did. But she didn't.

Instead, she comforted me, even after I revealed all those horrible things that happened to me, she instead apologized to me, me, for having me remember what had caused me to try to kill myself the first time. She was the one apologizing to me after I told her my past. I swear, Frisky really is too pure for this world. But I'm happy that it was her that fell down here and woke me up, and not someone else. Because, in these few days, she has made me feel important, special, even.

I watched with a small smile as Frisky walked up to Sans and asked, "Hey, Sans, what are you doing here?"

To which the comedian replied by scratching his chin bone and said, "i'm thinking about getting into the telescope business." He motioned towards silver telescope that stood beside him, then he said, "it's normally 50,000G to use this premium telescope…" He then gently patted his telescope with a knowing grin before he winked and said, "but… since i know you, you can use it for free. howzabout it?" Frisky had a thoughtful expression on her face, as if she was really thinking about using his telescope.

I knew that there was something off about this, and because this IS Sans we're talking about here. I knew that it was a prank waiting to happen. One which Frisky seemed all too happy to 'fall' for. Wanting to make sure that she knew that a prank was coming, I turned to her with a small, knowing smile on my face as I asked her, "Frisky, dearest. You do realize that this is most likely another one of his pranks, right?"

Frisky lightly giggled as she thought, 'Of course I do, Chara. But when has any of his 'pranks' ever been harmful?'

I couldn't really argue against her, because she was right. Whoopie cushion in the hand, the barstool, hell, even the fried snow could have been just another prank, as well as that strange teleporting thing he did where we encountered Gyftrot.

All of those could have been his pranks, and none of them were really harmful. Just harmless fun, nothing more and nothing less. I sighed in defeat as I said, "Very well, Frisky. Just as long as you know what you're getting yourself into, I'll support you, love." I said the last word with a slight blush on my cheeks as those words left my lips.

I still couldn't believe that this was real. It felt more like a wild dream. 'God, I'm acting like such an idiot right now. Stop acting like a love-sick schoolgirl, Chara.' I told myself as I slapped my cheeks with both hands, not really liking how stupid I was acting right now.

Frisky, however blushed ever so slightly, before she turned to Sans and shrugged as she said, "Sure, why not? I'll give your telescope a look, Sans." And she proceeded to laugh at her own bad joke, while I simply groaned in slight annoyance.

I may be learning to love this girl dearly, but her taste in jokes, which were nothing more than bad puns, and they were not my favorite kind of jokes. I mean, I guess that mom used to tell bad puns when I was still alive, but, not as frequent as when Frisk and Sans are in the same room as each other.

I swear, I watched as Sans' pinpoint eyes brightened at both Frisky pretty much walking into his prank, and the terrible pun Frisky had just told as he said, "well, if you say so. enjoy the sights. let me know what you see."

Frisky smiled as she looked through the telescope with a smile that quickly turned into a frown as she said, "I don't see anything except for the color red." She then stood away from the telescope and I had to hold my breath as I struggled not to laugh at this.

Sans, however, was lightly laughing and Frisky, being absolutely clueless as to what the joke was at the moment, asked, "What? What's so funny?"

Sans replied with a wink as he said, "well, frisk, i've red somewhere that ta night sky was a real eye opener. but eye must say, this telescope business might have been a bright eye-dea, wouldn't ya agree?"

Frisk looked a little confused, especially after all those eye puns of his, until I said, while trying to hold back my laughter, "Frisky, dear, check your left eye."

Frisky was confused, but she brought her hand to her eye, and she seemed to feel something, and she looked at the red ink on her hand before she started laughing herself before she looked at Sans and said, "Never thought I would experience the old red ink on the telescope prank, Sans. Good one. You got me." She then flashed Sans a bright smile.

Sans simply smiled a knowing smiled as he said, "what can i say? the classics are classics for a reason. anyways, here, for bein' a good sport, have a cloth, complements of grillby's." Sans then handed Frisky a napkin, but she hesitated, and Sans, knowing that Frisky wouldn't trust him so easily, said, "huh? oh, this? oh, don't worry 'bout it, kiddo. one prank per area. you don't have ta worry about lil' old me pranking ya every step of the way. i mean, what kinda friend would i be of i just pranked ya again with something like a napkin?" He then gave Frisky a knowing wink.

Frisky lightly shook her head as she took the napkin and rubbed her eye clean and said, "Well, catch you later, Sans." Sans simply gave her a single wave.

Noticing a hallway behind a pillar of rock, Frisky went through it, and soon found a familiar face. "Nice Cream Man? What are you doing here?" Frisk asked the blue Nice Cream sales-rabbit in confusion.

We walked up to the Nice Cream Man, well, Frisky walked up to him, I floated. We then heard him sigh sadly as he said, "I relocated my store, but there are still no customers…" That was until his ears went up and he happily said, "Fortunately, I've thought of a solution!"

Frisky and I were intrigued at what the Nice Cream Man had for an idea, and Frisk asked, "What solution did you come up with?"

"Punch cards!" The Nice Cream Man replied joyfully. "Every time you buy a Nice Cream, you can take a punch card from the box. If you have 3 cards, you can trade them for a free Nice Cream! They're sure to get the customers to come back!"

I shook my head at this, I mean, I get it. He's trying to make his business boom, but, I don't think Punch Cards will draw in a crowd. "That's not how that works. It's literally the first rule of businesses. Location, location, location. That's what Gerson said when he talked about opening HIS shop, anyways. If you want to make a real profit, sell your Nice Cream in Hotland, that'll sure to get you a lot of customers."

The Nice Cream Man looked at Frisky and asked, "So, how about it, kid? Would you like a Nice Cream? Now just 25G!"

Frisky smiled as she took out 25G and said, "Sure! One please."

Frisky handed the Nice Cream Man the gold, and he said, "Super! Here you go! Your Card's in the box!"

Frisky walked towards the box that was behind her and took a single card, we then noticed another plaque, knowing that this was my job, I looked at it, before rolling my eyes and said, "The ancient glyphs have been painted over with a list of 21 different flavors." Frisky lightly giggled at this and I felt a small blush warm fill my cheeks.

Soon afterwards the two of us headed to leave the area, but before we did, Frisky turned to the Nice Cream Man and said, "I think, if you really want to sell your frozen treats, Nice Cream Man, you might want to try a much hotter location."

The Nice Cream Man looked at Frisky with a curious expression and asked, "Really? Why do you say that kid?"

Frisky smiled as she said, "Well, back on the surface, humans have their own frozen treats simply called Ice Cream, and it is really popular during the hot, summer months, because the heat could become really unbearable. And so, Ice Cream helps cool people off during these hot days." She then held her Nice Cream up and said, "If Nice Cream is anything like Ice Cream, you'll find your best place to make a profit to be in the hottest place in the Underground."

The Nice Cream Man seemed to think about it for a while, before he said, "That actually sounds brilliant! What's your name, kid."

Frisky simply smiled at the Nice Cream Man as she said, "My name's Frisk. Just Frisk."

"Frisk? Well, Frisk, my names Bugs." The Nice Cream Man said with a cartoonish smile.

Frisky lightly giggled at that and asked, "Bugs? As in, Bugs Bunny from the old Loony Tunes cartoons?"

Bugs the Nice Cream Man nodded with a knowing smile, "Yep. Us monsters wanted to lighten up the mood down here, so, when we have kids, we tend to make them into puns. At least, that's what I've been told."

"I guess you learn something new every day." Frisky replied with a light smile on her face.

Bugs waved at Frisky and said, "Well, enjoy your stay down here, Frisk the human." Frisk looked at Bugs in surprise, but he simply winked and said, "Teressa and Lola are my cousins. Teressa in particular seemed quite pleased with you wanting to take the old human items with you. You have given her a chance to stop holding onto the past."

Frisky looked like she was going to ask something, but Bugs sighed sadly as he said, "See, Teressa has been holding onto those items for years. Lola and Teressa's parents were part of the Royal Guard, in fact their father, Roger, was the one who brough young Triston to the King, and the young boy surrendered his prized possessions to him, and he in turn gave them to Teressa. And Mike gave Teressa his badge before he went to the Capital. And, well, the rest you know."

Everyone was silent for a long time, before Bugs patted his stall and said, "Well, I think that's enough of the depressed thoughts, kid. So, thank you for your advice, I'll be sure to head to Hotland afterwards, thanks for your help. I hope you enjoy your Nice Cream!" The Nice Cream Man said with the biggest smile on his face, and that alone made Frisky smile as well.

"Don't worry, I will! Good luck with your business!" Frisky said, a bright smile on her face and with that, we headed out.

Once we left, I turned to her with a smile on my face and playfully punched her on the shoulder before saying, "Jeez, girl, you are way too kind sometimes, you know that?"

Frisky smiled warmly at me while playfully rubbing her arm, as well as a light blush on her cheeks before she said, "I just want to make everyone happy, Chara. Is that wrong?"

I lightly chuckled before ruffling Frisky's hair, thus hearing her squeal in surprise, as I said, "Not at all, Frisky. It just shows that you are more trusting of others than many would expect."

Me and Frisky then walked up to a nearby dimensional box, before putting stuff that she didn't need at the time inside, then she walked up to an onion looking creature who asked, "What's a star? Can you touch it? Can you eat it?" This onion was asking questions at such a rapid pace that Frisky couldn't even answer them. "Can you kill it? … Are you a star?"

Frisky had tried to explain what a star was, but she could only explain so much. After we had spent several minutes explaining stars, and everything we knew about them, well, Frisky did the explaining, I was telling her whatever I knew.

After dealing with the weird onion monster, we walked downwards, and encountered another Echo Flower, which said, "So? Don't you have any wishes to make?" The voice sounded very familiar, because it was my voice coming from that flower. Frisky looked up to me with a questioning expression on her face, but I silently shook my head, and she nodded before moving onwards.

Walking up to another flower, we heard a young boy's voice say, "…hmmm, just one, but… It's kind of stupid." I had to hold back the tears, because the voice which spoke from the flower was him, and it was the first time in a very long time that I had heard his voice again, and not from a strange unexplainable incident with me being jealous at Papyrus.

Frisky gently grabbed my hand, and I looked at her and rubbed my eyes before I simply said, "Sorry, Frisky."

She shook her head and she softly said, "Don't worry, Chara. I won't judge you for anything, just remember that I am here for you if you need a shoulder to cry on."

I smiled softly at Frisky and kissed her cheek as I said, "Thank you, Frisky. It's just that, that was him, Frisk! It was him!"

I watched as Frisky's eyes widened in shock as she realized who I was talking about and she asked, "Asriel?"

I simply nodded, doing my best to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall and said, "Yes. My brother, my best friend, Asriel Dreemurr. The one who saved me all those years ago. Just hearing his voice; it reminded me that I was still here, and he wasn't."

I looked down and felt tears falling down my face, until Frisky wrapped her arms around me in a warm embrace, and I hugged her back before softly whispering, "It's all my fault, if I didn't come up with that stupid, god forsaken plan, then he would still be here! We would both still be alive!"

Frisky didn't ask what my plan was, even though I could tell that she wanted to, instead she softly rubbed my back and whispered in my ear, "It's okay, Chara, it's okay. Whatever happened in the past, it's in the past. You can't go back and change it. I want to know what happened to you, but I'm not going to ask. I can see that you're hurt, but I just want you to know, I'm here for you, and I won't leave you. So don't you cry." She then stood on her toes as she kissed me on my cheek and said, "After all, you look much cuter when you smile."

I blushed deeply at this, both at her playful flirting, as well as from the kiss, I looked over to her and said, "Easy there, my little Frisky Frisk. That flirtatious personality of yours is your most dangerous weapon, after all. You could have knocked out Papyrus during your 'date' after all." It was my turn to kiss her on her cheek, before saying, "But thank you for being here for me."

I watched as Frisky blushed deeply, then she grabbed my hand and interlocked her fingers with mine, and together, we continued walking onwards hand in hand, and we found a small patch of tall grass in the middle of a small clearing, going on to investigate it, I watched as Frisky slowly pulled out a pair of ballet shoes, and a sad expression on her face. I knew that they belonged to Tiana, and Frisky did too, we didn't speak at first, but I placed a gentle hand on Frisky's shoulder before simply saying, "I know, Frisk, I know."

Frisky nodded slowly as she placed the shoes in her satchel, before continuing forward, but as we were approaching a small bridge, our phone began ringing, Frisky picked it up and asked, "Hello?"

"HELLO! THIS IS PAPYRUS!" The loud skeleton said with a very concerned tone in his voice. "REMEMBER WHEN I ASKED YOU ABOUT CLOTHES?"

I watched as Frisky nodded uncomfortably as she said, "Yeah, I remember, Papyrus. What about it?"

"WELL, THE FRIEND WHO WANTED TO KNOW… HER OPINION OF YOU IS VERY… MURDERY." The loud skeleton said with hesitation at the last word.

I heard Frisky softly say, "Yeah, I noticed, Papyrus." I watched as Frisky shivered at the memories of Undyne's spears being thrown at her, and I floated up behind her before giving her a comforting hug, and I could feel that Frisky had stopped shaking, so I looked down and saw that she was smiling gratefully up at me, and I simply smiled back at her.

"WELL, WORRY NOT DEAR HUMAN FRISK! PAPYRUS WOULD NEVER BETRAY YOU! I AM NOT A CRUEL PERSON." Papyrus told Frisky, who had seemed to finally calm down after that memory of near death she had just relived.

Frisky nodded, a soft smile creeping its way onto her face as she said, "Don't worry, Papyrus, I know you're not. You're one of the kindest monsters I've ever had the pleasure of meeting."

Papyrus then loudly said, "CORRECT! I STRIVE TO BE COMFORTING AND PLEASANT. PAPYRUS! HE SMELLS LIKE THE MOON." That was a weird thing to say, that's for certain. "SO, BECAUSE OF MY INHERENT GOODNESS… I TOLD HER YOU WERE NOT WEARING A FADED RIBBON! EVEN THOUGH YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE! INSTEAD, I MADE SOMETHING UP!"

Why did I have a bad feeling about what he was about to tell us? "I TOLD HER YOU WERE WEARING… AN OLD TUTU." Both mine and Frisky's eyes widened in shock at this. "IT PAINED ME TO TELL SUCH A BOLDFACED LIE. I KNOW YOU WOULD NEVER EVER WEAR AN OLD TUTU. BUT YOUR SAFETY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FASHION. DANG! I JUST WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE…"

And just like that, Papyrus had hung up on us, without us even being able to explain anything to him. I watched as Frisk tried and failed to call Papyrus back. Frisk sighed in annoyance, then we continued onwards, I looked towards Frisk and asked, "Frisky, why don't you leave Papyrus a message?"

Frisky shook her head and said, "I would like to, but what if Undyne checks Papyrus' voicemail for whatever reason? I don't want to get Papyrus in trouble for both helping me and lying to Undyne."

I sighed at this, knowing that she was right, Papyrus was another pure soul, but he also appeared to be more complex then he seemed, but I turned to Frisky and said, "Very well, Frisky, but just be careful."

Frisky nodded, but she didn't bother to take her tutu off. After all, even if she did, Undyne already saw her, and knew what she looked like, even without the tutu, plus a little extra DEF wouldn't hurt, literally. Soon we approached another Echo Flower, which was my recorded voice who said, "Don't say that! Come on, I promise I won't laugh."

I rubbed my eyes at this, because I remembered promising that I wouldn't laugh to Azzie, only to laugh at his wish anyways, even though it was the same wish I had. Me and Frisky walked on forward, until we arrived at another plaque, which I had read. "The power to take their SOULs. This is the power that the humans feared."

I heard Frisky growl, actually growl at what she had heard, and I then heard her say, "Stupid humans and their idiotic fears. It should have been them who were sealed underground for centuries, not the kind and gentle monsters."

I was taken back by the venom I heard in Frisk's voice, I was so used to her kind and gentle voice, that hearing the pure hatred Frisk had for humanity, was like hearing an echo of my own voice, and how I wanted them all dead. It reminded me of the moment that led to Azzie's death, and it scared the ever-living-shit out of me. Not wanting Frisk to go down the same dark road I did, I grabbed Frisk and brought her into a tight hug.

Doing this caused Frisky to squeak out in surprise, a sound that I was finding to be very cute, but I knew that I couldn't let her go down the same dark path that I had. I gently rubbed circles in her back in a comforting motion while softly whispering, "Shh, shh. Don't think about them, Frisky. They're nothing but stupid, ignorant beings that only care about themselves. That's what humans are like, you know this, Frisky."

I watched as Frisky looked down at the ground and she sadly said, "Yeah, I know that Chara. But, does that mean that we could end up just like… like them, one day? We're humans, after all, right?" She looked directly in my eyes, hers were filled with tears. Obviously, she still had some resentment towards humanity, and I couldn't really blame her for that.

I sighed as I continued to rub Frisky's back gently, before I said, "No, Frisk, we're not going to end up like those idiots."

Frisk looked up into my eyes, those ruby colored eyes of hers, they normally shined like crimson stars, but they were dulled and had tears running down them as she asked, "R-really, Carrie? We, we won't end up like them?"

I lightly blushed at my new nickname, but I shook my head and said, "No, my sweet Frisky Frisk, we won't. Because, while we are humans, we are not ignorant like those fools who were afraid of something they didn't understand. We understand what the monsters are like, and how nice they can be. If you ask me, we are more like the monsters down here, than we are like the humans above ground."

Frisk rubbed her eyes as she nodded and with a little sniffle she said, "sniff I still don't like how these kind monsters were wrongfully punished, simply because they had the ability to absorb human SOULs, it's not right. I know that the humans were afraid, but still…"

I gently grabbed her hand and softly said, "I know, Frisky, I know. Let's keep moving, shall we?"

Frisky nodded as she reached for my hand, and with a smile, I reached back, and we continued forward, hand in hand once again, then she said, "Yeah, who knows, Undyne could be right around the corner." I nodded silently, and we proceeded deeper into the caves of Waterfall.

As we entered a large water area, Frisky slowly walked across the rocky pathway, when we saw a large, yellow tentacle appear out from the waters, me and Frisky became frightened by this thing, and proceeded to move faster down the pathway, watching as another tentacle followed after us in the water, until we heard water bubbling coming from behind us, completely terrified of what it was, we slowly turned around and watched as an octopus like creature with a single horn on its head and massive, sparkling, anime like eyes and a smile on its face looked down at us.

In a soft, kids like voice, the water monster said, "Hey… there… Noticed you were… Here…"

Frisk nervously waved her hand, and, with a slight stutter, she said, "H-hey th-there. I'm Fr-Frisk, w-what's your name?"

The octopus smiled like a complete doofus as he (she? They?) said, "I'm Onionsan! Onionsan, y'hear!" Honestly, that childish personality has made Onionsan less frightening, and slightly more bearable, if only a little bit.

Frisk nodded ever slightly before walking slowly away, and Onionsan followed us, "You're visiting Waterfall, huh! It's great here, huh! You'll love it, huh! Yeah! Me too! It's my Big Favorite."

Once more, Frisk and I slowly walked away from Onionsan, though I could tell that Frisk wasn't too scared of the gentle octopus monster, but then Onionsan dunked his head in the water slightly as he sadly said, "Even though, the water's getting so shallow here… I, have to sit down all the time, but…" Man, hearing this monster talk like this made even MY heart reach out for him.

But then Onionsan popped out and happily said, "He-hey! That's OK! It beats moving to the city! And living in a crowded aquarium! Like all my friends did!" As we continued walking towards our next destination, Onionsan said, "And the aquarium's full, a-anyways, so, even if I wanted to, I…"

Damnit, why must this monster make my heart ache like this? "That's okay though, y'hear!" Me and Frisk looked up at the octopus monster who said, "Undyne's gonna fix everything, y'hear!"

Both me and Frisk felt chills run down our spines at the name 'Undyne' because we could still feel those spears trying to pierce her SOUL. "I'm gonna get out of here and live in the ocean! Y'hear!" Frisk quickly made for the end of the room when Onionsan put a tentacle over his eyes and said, "Hey…there… That's the end of this room. I'll see you around! Have a good time! In Waterfallllllllllllllllllllllllllllll."

After watching Onionsan leave, or at least, go deeper into the waters, me and Frisk entered the next room cautiously, still afraid that Undyne would come out of a corner and hurl thousands of spears at us, well, at Frisky, again. That was, however, until we heard a soft, women's voice say, "It's okay, dear, you can do it. I believe in you!"

Then not soon after that voice spoke, a timid female voice asked, "Bu-but wh-what i-if I-I'm no-not g-good en-enough? Wh-what i-if I m-mess up?"

"Oh, hush, Shy, you're going to be just fine." The first voice said with pure confidence. Me and Frisk looked over to the source of the voices and we found a strange fish looking creature with its head floating over its body, no, it wasn't it's body, but a completely different monster entirely!

Frisk softly spoke up from behind the two monsters, "Uh, excuse me, is everything alright?"

The fish head looking monster squeaked in surprise and the body turned to face Frisk and said, "Oh, hello there, little one. I'm just trying to get Shyren here to believe in herself so she could sing again. But it's kind of hard because she has a terrible case of stage fright and doesn't do well in large crowds. Oh! I'm Shyren's musical agent, and closest friend, Vanessa, but you can just call me Ness. I just want to help her see that she can become great if she just tries."

Frisk gave Shyren a gentle smile as she said, "Why don't you sing to me? After all, I'm the only other person here at the moment."

"That's a load of bullshit, Frisky. And you know it." I said to her with a knowing smile.

'Yes, but what she doesn't know, won't make her have a panic attack, Carrie.' Frisky thought to me, once again using that new nickname for me, and I had to agree with her on that notion.

We heard Ness gasp in joyful shock as she turned towards the large head like fish and said, "Hear that, Shy? The little one wants to hear you sing! Why not give her a demonstration?"

But it seemed Shyren wasn't too eager to sing, but then I saw a lightbulb appear of Frisky's head as she then asked, "How about I sing a song for you? You don't even have to sing if you don't want to, you could just listen. How about it?"

I watched as Shyren looked up to Frisk in wonder as she asked, "Y-you wo-would re-really d-do th-that? F-for m-me?"

Frisk smiled softly at the timid fish monster as she nodded as she said, "Of course I would. Anything to help out."

Shyren seemed to smile softly at this and she looked down sideways as she nervously asked, "You, you wouldn't ha-happen to kn-know Blue Bayou, by any chance, would you?"

Frisk's smile widened ever so slightly as she asked, "By Linda Ronstadt?" And Shyren nodded, well, shyly, and Frisk nodded as she said, "It's one of my favorite songs."

Shyren smiled at Frisk and she cheerfully said, "Okay!" Then she blushed before looking away and saying, "I-I mean, I guess, if you want to, that is."

I watched and listened as Frisk began humming softly, then she started tapping her foot in a beat, before she started singing, and then, it felt as if the sounds of the caves became deafened by Frisk's singing.

(A/N: During this segment, Frisk singing alone will be depicted as the Underlined words, and Shyren singing alone will be Bold, when both are singing together, it will be both Bold and Underlined)

~I feel so bad I got a worried mind

Hearing those words brought an ache to my chest, and I couldn't tell if it was pain, joy, or even sorrow, but I knew that this song, brought out a powerful emotion from my SOUL, but instead of saying anything, I decided to let Frisk have this moment, and see just how good she really was. I looked towards Shyren, and saw she was looking at Frisk in wonder, her vine like hair splitting apart, and allowed her face to be seen.

I'm so lonesome all the time

Since I left my baby behind

On Blue Bayou

Frisky looked to Shyren and gently said, "If you want to join in, you can go right ahead, Shyren. No need to be shy." Ugh, leave it to Frisky to make a joke about someone's name, who does she think she is, Sans? Anyways, as if that was her cue, Shyren closed her eyes and began singing as well.

Saving nickles saving dimes

Working 'til the sun don't shine

Looking forward to happier times

On Blue Bayou

That was when the true show began, as both girls started singing a heartfelt, beautiful song. And truth be told, they sounded like angels. Even though Shyren unleashed her attack when she sung, causing Frisk to dodge out of the way, and causing Shyren to be afraid that she would hurt her new friend, Frisk easily solved the problem by saying, "When you sing, aim your attack upwards, that way you won't hurt anyone while you sing."

Shyren smiled wide at hearing those words and proceeded to do just that during the next part, as the two started singing in harmony, it was beautiful, by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I'm going back someday

Come what may

To Blue Bayou

It was incredible seeing a human and a monster singing together, without fighting each other, hurting one another, or anything, it was, beautiful. And hearing Frisk's angelic voice brought a warm smile to my face as I realized that that was my girlfriend out there singing a beautiful song. I couldn't help the blush on my face as I remembered that, yes, Frisk was my girlfriend.

Oh, sure, we had only just started this new relationship, but I wasn't against it in the slightest, in fact, hearing her lovely singing voice made me fall for her even more. But hearing her soft, angelic voice, sing along with Shyren's more, harmonious, yet powerful voice, makes this sad sounding song, sound truly amazing.

Where the folks are fine

And the world is mine

On Blue Bayou

Where those fishing boats

With their sails afloat

If I could only see

That familiar sunrise

Through sleepy eyes

How happy I'd be

During this whole musical number, I noticed that more and more monsters started appearing. I noticed some Moldsmals, a Moldbygg or two. And Aaron, who turned to his right and said, "Hey, Wosh! Get your ass over here! Shy's singing again, and it looks like that striped shirt kid is responsible!" Huh, I guess the three of them were friends, maybe.

I even saw several Temmie's twitching like crazy to the beat of the song. All these monsters together had just made a small moment between a human helping out a shy monster, become a full-blown concert! I even saw that Sans was here selling tickets… made out of toilet paper of all things. That bastard.

Gonna see my baby again

Gonna be with some of my friends

Maybe I'll feel better again

On Blue Bayou

Saving nickles saving dimes

Working 'til the sun don't shine

Looking forward to happier times

On Blue Bayou

This was by far, the most beautiful, and spectacular thing I have ever seen, monsters coming together to hear such a beautiful melody, seeing these two switch off between parts of the song was unbelievable. It was like they had done this a million times before, it was like they just, clicked, in a way.

It takes me back to the old days, back to when me and Azzie sat together in our shared room, listening to human music that fell into the Underground, even working on a single ourselves, it was just a single song, but, when Azzie added his lyrics, it helped me during nights I couldn't sleep, it was great, we were just enjoying our happy days, together, as a family. *sigh* 'I miss those days.'

I'm going back someday

Come what may

To Blue Bayou

Where the folks are fine

And the world is mine

On Blue Bayou

Where those fishing boats

With their sails afloat

If I could only see

That familiar sunrise

Through sleepy eyes

How happy I'd be

In almost no time at all, the entire room we were in was filled with monsters, it was, incredible. There was so much life in this room that it was hard to describe. I turned to the stars of this show and realized that they hadn't even noticed the other monsters, they were in their own little zone, lost in the beat of the music, like they were the only two in the world.

In that one single moment, I was jealous, and I had wished that I wasn't a specter, invisible to everyone but Frisk, and Blooky, and I wanted, desperately, to be up there, in that spotlight, singing with that gentle angel, but I quickly shook my head. 'This is their moment, not mine. I'm not going to ruin it. Not like anyone could see me, anyways.'

I flew upwards to get a better view of the audience and took another look towards the crowd, and I swear that I saw someone who looked JUST like Frisky, but she was black and white. No, seriously. She had no color at all, and her eyes were pitch black, almost like she had darkness for eyes.

I watched as she was nodding her head and was tapping her foot to the beat, almost as if she, herself, was enjoying the music. Then, suddenly, she looked up and smiled softly before waving at me. ME! Someone that no one but Frisk and Blooky should be able to see at all!

I quickly rubbed my eyes, not believing that what I saw was real, and when I looked over to where the monochromatic Frisk once stood, all I saw was just a regular old stone wall. I don't know whether or not what I saw was even real, but something about that colorless Frisk brought an uneasy feeling in my SOUL.

Shaking my head, I turned back to the stage and it was then that the song had reached its peak, as it came to its grand finale. Bringing my attention back onto the singing girls. But my mind still couldn't get rid of that strange looking Frisk. Was she real, or just a figment of my imagination.

Oh that boy of mine

By my side

The silver moon

And the evening tide

Oh some sweet day

Gonna take away

This hurting inside

Well I'll never be blue

My dreams come true

On Blue Bayou~

After the song came to an end, the monsters that were listening, were quiet for a while, before they all roared with cheers, shocking both Frisky and Shyren, who, after noticing the crowd hid behind Frisky, who was blushing in embarrassment and nervousness, and Shyren shyly asked, "Where, where did all th-these m-monsters come from?"

And Shyren's agent slithered up to the hiding Shyren and said, "They arrived during your performance, Shy! And from how they're throwing clothing, and cheering like lunatics, I think they loved it. In fact, I think they may want an encore?"

Shyren looked at the crowd wide eyed and nervously asked, "Re-really?"

Ness nodded with a bright smile. "Indeed. Look, Woshua and Aaron are here too."

This made Shyren to blush an even dark shade of red, like seriously, I've never seen anyone turn from blue to red this quickly before in my life, as she turned to face the muscle-headed Mer-horse and sentient washing machine. Aaron didn't say anything, but gave her a thumbs up, while Wosh looked up to her and said, "Your singing was very clean, Shy."

Shyren blushed at that, then she softly said, "Thanks, Woshua, that means a lot coming from you."

Frisk smiled down at Shyren and asked, "What do you say, Shy? Up for one more song before I go?"

Shyren looked up at Frisk in surprise, almost as if she had completely forgotten something, and asked, "Go? Go where?"

Frisk smiled sadly as she nodded and said, "Well, I do have places to be, Shyren. But I wouldn't mind doing one final song with you."

Shyren seemed to become the happiest I had ever seen, before she nodded and said, "A-alright, you have any suggestions…? Oh, I never gotten you name, kid."

Frisk simply smiled softly at Shyren as she said, "I'm Frisk, just Frisk. And have you ever heard of a song called, Fight Song?"

"By Rachel Platten!?" To which Frisk nodded happily, and Shyren nearly cheered as she said, "Yes, and I love it, easily one of my top ten favorite songs!"

And that was all it took, and in an instant, the two girls once more stood side by side to each other and started another song, and the crowd went silent to hear it. I then heard music begin to play from nowhere.

Seriously, where the hell is this music coming from!? Then, all of a sudden, I looked upwards, and I saw that white dog from our FIGHT with Papyrus, now had a drum set and a Temmie wearing a blue shirt and glasses had a guitar strapped around her, both of whom, were playing the music, upside down. I was confused as all hell at what I was seeing. 'What the…? How the…? Where did…? WHAT!?'

There was no explanation for what I was seeing, and I decided to pretend that my mind was playing a trick on me, as the girls started singing once more, with Frisk once more taking the lead.

~Like a small boat on the ocean

Sending big waves into motion

Like how a single word

Can make a heart open

I might have only one match

But I can make an explosion

And all those things I didn't say

Wreaking balls inside my brain

I will scream them loud tonight

Can you hear my voice?

This Time

In that one moment, the cave became deathly quiet, I looked up to see that the white dog and Temmie were still there, but not playing any music, before a playing once more, creating a beat that was coming from everywhere but nowhere at the same time.

This is my fight song

Take-back-my-life song

Prove-I'm-alright song

My power's turned on

Starting right now I'll be strong

I'll play my fight song

And I don't really care

If nobody else beli~eves

'Cause I've still got

A lot of fight left in me

I can't believe what is going on now, this concert has erupted into cheers, raining music notes, clothing being tossed around like crazy, the annoying dog and Temmie were playing like professionals, keeping to the beat of Frisk and Shyren. Hell, even a few other Temmie's were being thrown around while their faces remained in one place for a single moment before rushing back towards their bodies, it was pure, unadulterated chaos, and it was absolutely amazing!

Losing friends and I'm chasing sleep

Everybody's worried about me

In too deep, they say I'm in too deep

And it's been two years I miss my home

But there's a fire burning in my bones

I still beli~eve, yeah, I still beli~eve

I was absolutely speechless at how these two strangers were able to be in complete synch with each other, with no flaws, or anything. They were like professionals, who had spent the last twenty years singing together, and not five minutes. It's amazing. And I quickly realized that Frisky was starting to dance, I even caught her looking at me, before giving me that flirtatious wink and smile combo that made me blush deeply.

"God damnit, Frisky." I said to myself with a smile. "Not even when you're giving everyone here a performance, you still have the time to be that flirtatious little angle that I have fallen for." I shook my head as I watched Frisky continue to rock out with her co-star.

And all those things I didn't say

Wrecking balls inside my brain

I will scream them loud tonight

Can you hear my voice?

This time

This is my fight song

Take-back-my-life song

Prove-I'm-alright song~

I couldn't explain what I was feeling, even if I wanted to. To be able to be in such sync as Frisky and Shyren are right now would take months, even YEARS to accomplish. Yet, here they are, only knowing each other for a few short minutes, and they are singing like they have been in a band for decades! Frisky really knows how to bring out the best in people. That, I'm certain of.

I wasn't even certain if I felt a new sense of love towards Frisky for her adorable singing voice, or a tinge of jealousy towards Shyren for being able to share the stage with my girl. I shook my head rapidly. "No, bad Chara." I told myself in slight annoyance with myself. "This is EXACTLY how you got Azzie killed in the first place. You let your emotions blind you. Instead of encouraging him to run away, back to the Underground where he could rest, like the responsible and SUPPORTIVE sister that you were supposed to be, you instead tried to force him to…"

I shook my head, tears slowly building in my eyes, but rubbed them away and laughed dryly to myself as I said, "Just do what you always do, Chara. Laugh away the pain…" Even though it freaked Azzie out on a few occasions, he still laughed with me, but I knew that my smiles secretly scared him, because he always called it my "Creepy Face."

Not that I can blame him. That dead, emotionless gaze I felt in my eyes, and statue-esq smile that I developed because of… I shook my head again as I once again chanted to myself, "Laugh away the pain. Laugh away th pain. Just laugh away the pain." Just let those days burn in the deepest pits of hell where they belong. Along with everyone else who tortured me. My birth parents included.

My power's turned on

Starting right now I'll be strong

I'll play my fight song

And I don't really care

If nobody else believes~

'Cause I still got

A lot of fight left in me~

A lot of fight left in me~

During this whole song, the crowd began losing it, there were loud cheers, magical stars firing off into the ceiling, socks and Temmies were being thrown, even Sans was somehow being thrown around with his hands in his pocket and was smiling lazily, and a knowing wink, almost as if it was his plan all along to be thrown around a room, or too lazy to be bothered to tell the monsters to stop.

And seeing this level of insanity brought me out of my memories and back into the present, with a smile on my face as I watched Frisk dance beautifully. The way she moved, stomping her feet to the rhythm of the drums, moving her hips to the strings of the guitar. She moved kinda hypnotically, for an eleven-year-old, that is. And then, it was time for Frisk and Shyren to bring their show to a close.

Like a small boat on the ocean

Sending big waves into motion

Like how a single word

Can make a heart open

I might have only one match

Frisk and Shyren were now back-to-back to each other, smiling softly at the crowd, with Frisk glancing up towards me, and making a motion, as if she had a match in her hand, rubbing it across her pants, before giving me a small smile and wink, before she and Shyren softly continued.

But I can make an explosion

It was quiet for a few seconds, the Dog and Temmie had paused for a few seconds, before Frisk and Shyren put everything they had to this stunning grand finale, then they continued playing once more. And hearing them sing this song, and all the emotions they're putting into it, is stunning. It was a literal explosion of emotion that went off in these final moments, Shyren literally rested herself on top of Frisk's head and the two girls gave it their all. And then, the music reached its Grand Finale. And with that, Frisky made a motion, as if she was throwing the invisible match into the air. And then, they started singing again.

This is my fight song

Take-back-my-life song

Prove-I'm-alright song~

My power's turned on

Starting right now I'll be strong

(I'll be strong)

I'll play my fight song~

And I don't really care

If nobody else beli~eves

'Cause I've still got

A lot of fight left in me

No I've still got a lot of fight in me

After the song ended, both Frisk and Shyren heard roars of cheers and whistles coming from the crowd, and Shyren and Frisk stood/floated side by side to each other, facing the crowd, before bowing at everyone. Once the two were standing straight again, well, Frisk was, anyways. Shy was just a small fish head, after all.

I looked upwards and saw that the Temmie and white Dog were gone, not a sight of them anywhere. Not even a sign of their instruments. Were they even there to begin with? Did I just imagine them? I don't think I'll ever know. So, instead I floated down next to Frisky and gave her a small nod, which she returned to me.

Shyren turned to Frisk and said, "Thank you for this, Frisk. Now, I don't think I'll be nervous singing in front of others anymore."

Frisk smiled at the small fish and said, "That's good to hear, Shyren. What are you going to do now?"

Shyren turned to the crowd, who were cheering out her name, before she turned back to Frisk and with a smile she said, "Well, I think we both know what I'm going to do now, Frisk."

Frisk nodded with a smile as she looked towards the crowd of monsters, cheering Shy's name, as well as Stripe Shirt, which, presumably, they were talking about Frisk, who said, "Well, I hope you enjoy yourself, Shyren, and good luck with your new fans."

Shyren smiled back at Frisk, before she looked down at the tutu, and her eyes widened, and she asked, "Where did you find that Frisk?"

Frisk looked down sadly at the clothing she was wearing, and she said, "I found it while traveling through the caves of Waterfall. It once belonged to…"

"To a young human girl named Tiana Grey." Shyren said in a very soft voice, so soft that me and Frisk could barely hear her. "I know." She said in an almost whisper.

Both me and Frisk became deathly silent at the fact that Shyren knew Tiana's name, and we had one thought, 'Did she know Tiana?'

Frisk seemed to want to know, so she turned to Shyren and said, "Uh, hey, Shy, can I talk to you for a moment? In private?" Frisky stressed the last part to let Shyren know how serious she was.

Shyren appeared to know what Frisk had wanted to ask her, so she nodded softly before telling her agent that she just wanted to talk to Frisk for a bit, then she and Frisk walked near an empty part of the cave, where there was a lone piano resting about in the left sided corner.

I remember coming here several times to practice playing during the few years I was living down here. I looked over it, and yep, it was covered in age old dust, but not DUST. And there, on the top of the piano, painted in gold by Undyne herself, was the name 'Chara Dreemurr' I rubbed my eyes, knowing that this was my first birthday present from Undyne, after she interrogated me to know when it was. Even though, back then, I would have rather wished that it was just forgotten. Thank goodness that she was stubborn, because I really love this thing.

But focusing back on the other girls in the room, both Frisk and Shyren seemed to be silent for a while, then when it seemed like I was going to lose my mind in the silence, Frisk finally spoke up, "How did you know that the tutu belonged to a human named Tiana, Shy?"

Shyren looked over to the piano with a far-off expression on her face, then she said, "Because, Tiana was once a good friend of me and my sister, Shyra."

Both me and Frisk gasped in shock, although only Frisk's gasp was heard, Frisk then asked, "What do you mean?"

Shyren looked at Frisk, and we saw that she was now crying, then Shy said, "Tiana was such a sweet young girl. She came through Waterfall a year ago. Oh, sure, me and my sister knew that Tiana was a human, we had visited Grillby's a few times before then and met young Mike on several of those visits, so we didn't care about another human, for we knew they were, or tended to be, harmless. I guess you can say that seven outta eight times they tended to be harmless."

Me and Frisky lightly chuckled at this, because from what we are learning, that almost all of the kids were really harmless. With the only exception being Triston, but from what Teressa had said, even THAT ain't so cut and dry. "Because she was the kindest kid we had ever met. Tiana had even played this very piano, in fact, that's how we had met." Shyren continued her speech.

Both myself and Frisk were utterly speechless at this revelation, and Frisk put a gentle hand on Shyren's head, and she said, "If you don't want to tell me, then you don't have to, Shy."

Shyren shook her head as she said, "No, it's okay, Frisk." We watched as Shyren took a deep breath before she said, "Me and Shyra used to come out to this part of Waterfall to practice singing. Back then, both of us wanted to become super stars, like Mettaton. He is currently the only star that the Underground has, he's actually a well-known actor. But we were both incredibly frightened of big crowds. But, on the way to this very room, we heard the piano playing. Which was very odd because nobody really came down here to play the piano anymore, at least, not since the prince and princess had died."

I couldn't hold back the small sniffle and few tears that fell when I heard that, then Shyren said, "We carefully peaked in this room to see a young girl wearing a light blue short-sleeved shirt, dark blue dress pants, the tutu and shoes. But the most interesting thing about her, was her eyes and hair. Her hair was jet black, except for a part that almost looked like a fang, that part was a dark blue color, a color that matched her eyes. We didn't dare interrupt her, and just listened to the beauty of her music."

I was somewhat shocked at what I heard, but before I could voice my amazement to Frisky, Shyren continued. "We listened for what seemed like forever, before the music slowly came to a beautiful end, but that was when we both heard the girl's voice call out to us."

*Flashback Shyren's POV* (**Cue Memory From the Undertale OTS**)

"You two can come out now." A soft young girl's voice echoed through the cave, and both me and Shyra hesitantly floated up to the girl who had been playing the late princess' piano not too long ago.

I blushed in embarrassment at being caught so quickly as I softly said, "We're sorry for spying on you, we were just…"

But the young girl shook her head as she smiled at us and said, "It's all right. I understand that not many monsters have seen a human down here for quite some time, right?"

I nodded slowly as I said, "Yeah, it has been quite some time." It was then that I had remembered that neither me nor my sister properly introduced ourselves. "Oh! My name's Shyren, and this is my sister."

"Hello, I'm Shyra." My sister replied happily, she had more Bravery than I did.

The young girl giggled at us as she said, "Well, my name's Tiana, Tiana Grey. It's nice to meet you two."

My sister laughed softly as she said, "It's nice to meet you too, Tiana."

I smiled softly at how Shyra easily made friends with new people, when I was never really that good in that regard. That was the day that we had made friends with the human known as Tiana Gray, who asked, "So, what are you two doing here?"

It was then that I spoke up and said, "We usually come up here to practice singing, but we weren't expecting to find that someone else to be occupying this aera."

Tiana softly smiled as she said, "Well, I hope you two don't mind if I stay here for a little while longer?"

Shyra shook her head and said, "No, not at all! In fact, do you think you can play us something?"

Tiana smiled warmly before placing her fingers back onto the keys as she said, "Sure thing. Not a problem."

*Present time Chara's POV You can stop listening to Memory now, unless you don't want to, that is.*

"And from that day onwards, me, Shyra, and Tiana all hung out here and while she played her music, we practiced singing." Shyren said with a thoughtful smile on her face.

"The three of you must have been close, huh?" Frisk asked the young fish head after a while.

Shyren nodded with a small smile on her face as she said, "Oh, yeah, we were."

It was then that Frisk asked, "So, what happened to Shyra and Tiana?" The sudden smile quickly turned into a saddening frown, Frisk seeing this quickly asked, "Did I say something wrong?"

Shyren shook her head slowly, then she said, "No it's not that, Frisk… *sigh* Do you know what the term 'Falling Down' means to monsters?"

Hearing that term instantly sent a chill down my spine, but Frisk shook her head before she said, "No, well, yes, but… I doubt that it means the same thing to that it does to me. What does it mean to monsters?"

Shyren sighed sadly before she said, "It pretty much means that a monster is at death's door, Frisk."

Frisk gasped in shock ar hearing this and she asked, "You mean to tell me that, Shyra…?"

"Yes." Shyren responded softly, "When monsters either get old, or become very depressed we 'Fall Down.' And when we Fall Down, we become catatonic, and then, after a certain amount of time, we die, and turn to dust. I don't know what caused her to Fall Down, but one minute, me and her were singing to Tiana's music, and the next, she passes out and became catatonic. I told Tiana to hurry to Hotlands with Shyra and bring her to Dr. Alphys' lab. But…" It looked as if Shyren was about to completely break down.

Frisk placed a gentle hand on Shyren's head, er, on her vinelike hair, before saying, "It's okay, Shy. If you don't want to say anything, you don't have to."

Shyren took a deep, shaky breath as she said, "No. No, I want to, I NEED to tell you this." We watched as she took a few more deep breaths, then she said, "Tiana picked up my sister and ran, she ran as fast as she could to Hotland, all for my sake."

My god, the more and more I hear about the fallen children, the more I realize that I had, at one point, hated all humans, but here is the third time a human has proven to be selfless and generous. 'God, I'm horrible. While Mike seemed to be a kind and honest person, Triston killed a few monsters. But… what if I'm just using that as an excuse? After all, Tiana did her best to get Shyra to this 'Dr. Alphys' all for Shyren. And Frisk…'

"But that was when Undyne caught her." Shyren said, shocking both me and Frisk.

"No! She wouldn't! She's not that kind of monster! Undyne would NEVER harm a kid… Would she?" I said, not at all believing that Undyne, my guardian, and at one point, my teacher, would EVER hurt a kid.

"What, what happened to Tiana, Shy?" Frisk asked nervously.

Shyren sighed sadly before saying, "I don't know what exactly happened, all I know, is that Tiana was taken to the capital, but from what I hear from The Royal Guards, Tiana went with Undyne willingly, but just as long as she brought my sister to Dr. Alphys lab. Other than that, I have no idea. A few months ago, me and Aaron had gotten a call. See, Aaron, I'm sure you met him and Woshua, well, Aaron's older brother, we all call him 'Muscle Bro.' But his real name was David. Real funny name, it's like, the most, normal name down here, but, either way, we both got a call saying that Shyra and Muscle Bro had woken up, but now Alphys won't answer any of our calls. And she won't even let us see our siblings."

All three of us were deathly quiet for a long time, before Frisk looked up to Shyren and asked, "If, if I were to go to Dr. Alphys, do you want me to ask her about Shyra and David?"

Shyren looked up in surprise at Frisk's offer and she asked, "You'd, you'd really do that, Frisk?"

Frisk nodded with a smile and she bowed very slightly and said, "Of course, Shy. It would be my greatest pleasure."

Shyren smiled warmly and said, "Thank you Frisk, and please, be safe, I don't want to lose another friend."

"You have nothing to worry about, Shy. I don't plan on dying any time soon, and I swear, I will find your sister, that I promise." Frisk answered with an honest smile and her right hand over her heart.

I watched as Frisk hugged Shyren, who tearfully said, "Thank you, Frisk. For everything. Take care and have a safe and adventurous journey."

Frisk smiled widely as she said, "And thank you for telling me more about Tiana, have a great time yourself, Shy."

And with that farewell, the two girls parted ways, but not before Ness came slithering through, with two bags in her, hands? How was she holding them? Frisky asked Ness, "What's with the bags, Ness?"

Ness smiled softly at Frisky, before saying, "You two attracted such a crowd, that Monsters couldn't help but donate QUITE a lot of Gold to you two, Frisky, dear, this bag is for you."

Frisky accepted the bag before looking into it, and her eyes widened as she asked, "How much Gold is this?"

Ness simply said, "1,000 Gold. A bit came from Sans, surprisingly enough."

"Sans?" Frisky asked in surprise. Her eyes widened in shock at hearing her pun friend had donated to her.

Ness nodded and said, "Yeah, he apparently earned some money from his 'tickets' and decided to give some to you, said it was an apology for the telescope, whatever that meant. Well, c'mon, dearly, your fans are waiting for you. I think they want autographs."

Shyren smiled softly, with a light blush creeping onto her face, and she said, "Yeah, okay, I think I'll like that. Well, goodbye, Frisk. Take care. Okay?"

Frisky nodded as she said, "Just as long as you do the same!" And with that, Shyren floated over Ness' body, and the two left the small cave we were in.

And not long, me and Frisky left as well. After we left the piano room, we saw a sign that we had completely missed, "It says 'The northern room hides a great treasure.'"

Frisk looked right at me and she asked, "What does that mean, Chara?"

I shrugged my transparent shoulders and said, "I have no clue, Frisky." We then walked down the hallway and I read another sign. "This power has no counter. Indeed, a human cannot take a monster's SOUL. When a monster dies, it's SOUL disappears. And an incredible power would be needed to take the SOUL of a living monster."

I had to resist the urge to shiver at the idea of someone trying to take the SOUL of a living monster. As we reached the next sign, I read it, "There is only one exception. The SOUL of a special species of monster called a 'Boss Monster.' A Boss Monster's SOUL is strong enough to persist after death… If only for a few moments. A human could absorb this SOUL. But it has never happened. And now, it never will."

It was deathly quiet between the two of us after reading that plaque, and I felt a chill run down my spine. "We should keep moving, Chara." I heard Frisk say to me.

I simply nodded, then we walked deeper into the cave, where we found a strange looking statue, that looked to be of a goat like creature holding onto something else. I looked around to see if there was a sign or anything, but nothing. "In all honesty, Frisky, dear, I have zero idea as to what this statue is supposed to be." There was something about what the statue was holding that seemed, familiar, and almost, human shaped?

Frisk looked around at the statue then she noticed something. "Hmm, the statues feet appears to be dry. Wonder if that is supposed to mean something?"

I gave her a shrug, "I have no idea, Frisky. This statue wasn't here a hundred years ago, so who knows?"

Deciding to ignore the statue for the most part, we walked into the next room, where we saw a sign and a basket of umbrellas, we walked up to the sign, and I read it. "It says, 'Please take one.'"

Frisk looked thoughtful for a moment, before grabbed an umbrella, and opened it up, then I watched as her eyes widened, almost as if she gotten an idea, then she walked back to the statue. "Uh, Frisky, dear?" I asked her, "What are you doing?"

She didn't answer me, instead, she gently placed the umbrella inside the hands of the statue, and suddenly, we heard music begin to play. It played a tune that I recognized immediately. "Frisky. That's His Theme!"

Frisk looked at me weirdly before she asked, "Who's theme?"

"My brother's. Asriel." I had to hold back the tears as I said, "It's also called 'Memory'. We had worked together for months to write this piece. It was also a lullaby for me when I couldn't sleep due to… unfavorable, memories and… dreams."

I wanted to say nightmares. And I could tell Frisky knew that as well, but I let the subject drop, not wanting old memories, pun not intended, to be revisited. "Whoever made this statue must have known about Azzie and decided to have his music play in this music box. But, but why?"

Frisk didn't answer me for a while, instead, she appeared to listen to the music, then ran once more, and after following her, we were once more at the piano room. And I could still hear the music box playing from all the way over here.

Frisk sat in the piano seat, then she played each note of the piano, to know which note was which, then, she played each note following the music box, but she messed up on the twelfth note, seeing that she wanted to play along with the song, I stood, er, floated, by to help her.

After about three minutes of playing along to the song, with a little help from me, the final note was played, and we watched as a stone wall slowly began to rise up from the center wall of the room, looking at one another, and we made our way through the newly revealed secret hole, and when we did, we found ourselves in strange room with a large red crystal sitting on a pedestal, Frisky walked up to it and I said, wide eyed, "It's a legendary artifact! I've heard stories about these! Dad used to tell us that they were remnants of ancient times that predate the monster/human war. It is also believed that seven of these were used to create the Barrier. But no one has been able to prove this."

Frisk walked up to the glowing red ball, and was about to place it in her bag, when she noticed something. "Huh?"

I turned to her, curious as to why she stopped and asked, "What's wrong, hon?"

Frisk then looked up at me and she said, "There's that weird white dog that took Papyrus' bone in my bag."

I looked over to the inside of her bag and, saw that she was right. There, in her bag, was that sleeping white dog from earlier, taking up all the space that was left of her bag. "How, in Asgore's beard, did that dog get in your bag, Frisky? In fact, HOW can that dog fit in your satchel? It has to be the same size of it!" Better question, how did it go from the ceiling of the previous room, into Frisky's bag without any of us noticing it?

Frisk gave me a shrug before she gently pulled the dog out of her bag and placed him on the ground before patting it gently on the head. Then she went to grab the artifact, only for the dog to suddenly wake up, and started shaking like a Temmie, and ABSORBED the artifact and just walked through the walls.

Me and Frisky were too shocked and confused at what we had just seen to even try to stop him. Silently, we walked back to the umbrella room, where Frisk grabbed another umbrella, before she said, "That was the weirdest thing I have ever seen, Chara."

I silently nodded at her, then we walked through the rainiest part of Waterfall, and I said, "How, in the Underground, did that, that, that Annoying Dog absorb the legendary artifact?"

Before Frisk was able to answer me, we both heard a loud voice say, "Yo, Frisk, you got an umbrella?"

Frisk jumped almost five feet in surprise, and I felt like I was going to die a second time. We turned to see Cedric standing off in a corner, grinning like an idiot. Frisk nervously nodded as she said, "Uh, yeah…?"

"Awesome!" Cedric said with a beaming smile on his face. He then ran underneath Frisk's umbrella, then he said, "Let's go!"

Frisk simply shrugged at this, deciding that this would be a good time to bond with the monster kid, nodded and the two proceeded to walk through the rainiest part of Waterfall, Frisk turned to Cedric, who said, "Man, Undyne is sooooooo cool. She beats up bad guys and NEVER loses. If I were a human, I would wet the bed every night knowing she was going to beat me up! Ha-ha."

I watched as Frisk gulped nervously at Cedric's response, before saying, "Yeah, same here… Uh, I mean, if I were a human, I would be downright terrified of Undyne, Cedric." I could tell that Frisky was a little frightened talking about my old guardian, not that I could blame her, she was quite scary when she wanted to be. Which, unfortunately for us, was all the time now.

The two proceeded to continue walking, until Cedric stopped to stare at an echo flower from across the water, when he said, "So, one time. We had a school project where we had to take care of a flower. The king – we had to call him 'Mr. Dreemurr' – volunteered to donate his own flowers. He ended up coming to school and teaching the class about responsibility and stuff. That got me thinking… YO! How COOL would it be if UNDYNE came to school!?"

I had to hold back a chuckle at hearing this, because I knew that Undyne would find a way to bench press as many kids as possible, and no one would be able to stop her. Then I heard Cedric say, "She could beat up ALL the teachers!"

I chuckled at the idea of Undyne beating up the teachers at the school, even though I knew that she wouldn't do something like that. While she would say that she just wanted to show that she was the strongest monster in the Underground, she wouldn't do it.

We then proceeded to move onwards, and both Frisk and Cedric had small smiles on their faces as they walked through the marsh, seems like these two are enjoying the quiet air of Waterfall. Then Cedric frowned slightly as he said, "Ummm, maybe she wouldn't beat up the teachers. She's too cool to ever hurt an innocent person!"

"Then, why does she hunt after humans, Cedric? I heard from Papyrus that she's after them." Frisk said, trying extremely hard not to give away that, she herself, was actually human.

Cedric frowned a bit as he asked, "I thought you would have known, Frisk? She's after humans because she wants to break the barrier, and because, the last and only human that she ever cared for, the adopted daughter of the king and queen, Princess Chara Dreemurr, had died because of the torment that she had went through. Whatever she went through, they said it completely ruined her immune system."

My god, I forgot that I got sick easily when I lived down here. "She was really sick when she first arrived down here, and it took Queen Toriel months of using small amounts of her magic to help the young girl recover. And for a while, she got better, maybe four or five years. But it wasn't too last. Princess Chara got really sick one day, and she died of her illness."

I had to hold back a shudder as I remembered my death very clearly, it was the most painful experience I have ever gone through, and I was basically BRANDED, so that was saying something. Then we heard Cedric say, "I've heard that Chara's last wish was for Prince Asriel to take her SOUL and cross the barrier so that she could be laid to rest in the golden flowers of her home. But…" Cedric shook his head as he said, "But then, the humans attacked the prince, believing that he killed Chara."

I felt a sharp pain pierce my chest at hearing that, then Cedric said, "Asriel, not wanting old wounds to be cut any deeper, returned to the Kings thrown room, where both his parents watched as he gently laid his sister's body on the ground, before dying and…" Cedric hesitated at the next words, almost as if, even he was scared of mentioning the next part, but soon he said, "before turning to dust." Cedric said in a dead quiet voice and we watched as he shivered at the last word.

Everything was dead quite at this point. Frisk looked towards me, hoping for me to tell her that this wasn't the case, but I didn't answer her. Instead, I silently looked down shamefully at the ground, knowing that I was responsible for Azzie's death. I hate myself for trying to force him to fight back. Why was I such an idiot?

Then I heard Cedric say, "That's why she wants to capture humans, Frisk. Because of what the humans did to Chara and Asriel."

It was then that what Cedric had said earlier about how I died struck me. 'Wa-wait. They think that I died because of what the humans did to me. Then, they don't know about our plan…' I looked down in sadness as I realized that, once more, I am to be blamed for what has befallen the Underground.

In the end, my death had led to the deaths of six other kids. 'If my brother dying, mother and father splitting up wasn't bad enough, now I learn that my own teacher dedicated herself to killing humans, all because of me… I really am the worst person to ever live. And dad had most likely taken the SOULs of six other kids because of mine and Azzie's deaths. Why must I always destroy that which I love?' I covered my eyes to hide the fact that I was starting to cry. Thankfully, Cedric kept Frisky distracted, so she didn't notice my tears.

We soon walked past a vast ocean, but I was too caught up in realizing how much of a horrible person I really am to comment much about it, surrounding us were a bunch of freshly bloomed Echo Flowers, too young to record anything, but still pretty.

We, me, Frisky, and Cedric, stared at the vast ocean, and on the other side, was, "There it is, the King's Castle. That must be where dad is now." I said to Frisk, who only glanced at me before looking at the distant castle.

All three of us were completely silent as we stared at the castle, then we headed onwards, and soon we reached a place where Frisk folded up her umbrella before placing it in a basket right next to her, and we saw that there was a cliff in our path, and Frisk looked around for any way up, when she asked, "So, what do we do now?"

Cedric looked towards a nearby ledge and turned to Frisk, and he said, "Yo, this ledge is way too steep… Yo, you wanna see Undyne, right…? Climb on my shoulders."

Frisk looked at him with concern and she asked, "Are you sure that I won't hurt you?"

Cedric smiled brightly as he shook his head and said, "Don't worry, dude. I'll be fine!"

Frisk smiled softly as she said, "Well, okay, if you say so, Cedric." Cedric then knelt down to let Frisk climb on his back, then, with a quick, yet careful jump, she grabbed onto the ledge and pulled herself up. Frisk turned to Cedric and asked, "How are you going to get up here, Cedric?"

Cedric smiled as he said, "Yo, you go on ahead. Don't worry about me. I always find a way to get through!"

Frisk frowned lightly as she said, "Okay, if you say so. Please be careful, Cedric!"

Cedric smiled and he said, "Don't worry, just tell Undyne that I said 'hi' Frisk!" And with that, Cedric was dashing off back where we just came from, that is, after he got back up after falling on his face.

I turned to Frisk and, with a small smile on my face, I asked, "Well, you ready to continue onwards, Frisky dear?"

Frisk nodded and together, we headed off into the next room, only to find it pitch black and a Save Point. "Alright, I wonder what madness we're going to encounter now?"

I lightly chuckled and, even from here we could still hear the old music box, as Frisk touched the Save Point, I said, 💥"The serene sound of a music box. It fills you with determination."💥

Frisk looked at one of the murals and I said, "The humans, afraid of our power, declared war on us." I watched as Frisk balled her hands into fists as I said that, knowing that she wasn't a big fan on the humans decision to seal away monsters. Not that I can blame her. I wasn't either.

"They attacked suddenly, and without mercy." We were silent as we approached another one, which I read, "In the end, it could hardly be called a war. United, the humans were too powerful, and us monsters, too weak. Not a single SOUL was taken, and countless monsters were turned to dust…"

I actually heard Frisky growl once more before she started walking and began to say, "Stupid, self-centered, self-righteous, humans and their stupid fears…" Frisky had to stop from her rant as she saw a blue light appear in front of her, "Oh, fu…" She then saw another blue disk appear behind her, she then looked at me with a minor case of annoyance, and said, "After we get out of here, remind me to continue to rant about the stupidity of the human race."

I said nothing as Frisky was surrounded by small, blue rings, before multiple spears shot out from them, and Frisk started running. "Don't you DARE run away from me, human! Get back here and face your death like a Man! Women…Child?" Undyne asked the last two with uncertainty in her voice. If it weren't for the seriousness of the situation, I would've laughed at Undyne's confused voice.

Frisky, seeing a moment of breath, looked down at Undyne, who was on a lower ledge, both girls locked eyes with one another, and Frisky yelled out, "I AM AN ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD GIRL! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME, YOU FUCKING PSYCHO!?"

Damn, didn't think that Frisky would swear like that. And it seemed this got a laugh out of Undyne who said, "Mwahahahahaha! You got guts, girly. Calling me a psycho, when I can easily kill you. Well, for that show of Bravery, I hope you don't die quickly. NGAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

And with those final words, Frisky was running from a literal forest of spears. "C'mon Frisky, don't…" I started to say, but Frisk wasn't in the mood for my words at the moment.

'Chara, hon, babe. I love you and all that crap, and not wanting to sound rude or anything, but please, don't distract me for the moment. I don't want to be impaled by a thousand spears right now!' Frisky thought to me as she ran as her life depended on it, and, because of the situation, it kinda was.

I nodded and blushed a little as I said, "Right, sorry, hon." Frisk said nothing as she continued to dodge every one of Undyne's attacks, which seemed to impress my old teacher.

"You're quite quick, for a child, but being quick will not save you! It just makes it fun!" Undyne yelled out in excitement that just told me that she had a HUGE toothy grin on her face. I almost forgot that Undyne had a nasty habit of enjoying chases WAY too much. I shivered at the memories of Undyne literally chasing me and Azzie all over Waterfall when we were younger. It seems like her aim has improved since then. By a LOT!

Goddamn psycho shark! If she hurts Frisky, I'll never forgive her… 'If past me ever heard my thoughts, she'd punch me in the face.' I thought to myself with a sweatdrop.

To which Frisk, who was still running, turned back to her and yelled back, "FUN? FUN!? HOW DOES ATTACKING AN INNOCENT, ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD-GIRL, WHO HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG, COUNT AS FUN!?"

Frisk kept running, but Undyne never relented, in fact, it seemed as though she doubled her attempts to impale my girlfriend. It wasn't long before Frisk was running as fast as her legs would carry her, down a straight, and long pathway, until, however, she stopped at a cliff that looked like it would lead to certain death. Wait, didn't this bridge lead directly to Hotland? Frisky slowly turned around and saw that Undyne was slowly making her way towards her, spear in hand, and a single, glowing, yellow right eye.

"Now then, what will you do, girly? Will you surrender, or does this have to get ugly?" Undyne asked Frisk, ready to impale her. It was a testament to Frisky's Determination that she wasn't quaking in fear right now. Girl's definitely got that fearless Determination in spades.

I watched as Frisk glance all around her, looking for some way to escape, then she turned back to Undyne, hands tightened into fists, she stomped her foot before boldly saying, "I'm not giving up, Undyne! I've come too far to just die here! I made a promise to help the monsters, and I'm not breaking that here!" She threw her arm to the side, almost as if she were throwing away her own fear.

This seemed to be the only thing that actually aggravated Undyne. "Grr. So be it!" Growled Undyne as she raised her spear skyward and said, "But, because of your bravery, I'll be merciful, and just kill you right here, right now. Then I'll collect your SOUL afterwards! NGAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Then she brought her spear downwards.

And with that, three blue spears came striking right through the bridge thing we were on, before Frisky fell down, crying out, "CHARA!"

I watched as there seemed to be a strange hesitation come over Undyne as Frisky called out my name, before I heard her scoff and mutter something under her breath that I couldn't hear, before I was suddenly pulled towards Frisky when I quickly snapped back to reality as I cried out, "FRISKY!"

As she fell, the world around me became engulfed in a bright white light, then, I felt like I was drifting into some kind of deep sleep.

When I came to, my entire body was aching. 'Ugh, yep. I think I broke my legs.' I thought to myself through the pain that was spreading through my legs. My back still hurt, even though it has been a week since that last MARK was applied. 'Ugh, dame those bastards, if I ever see another human ever again, I'll…'

Then, my thoughts were halted when I heard a soft-spoken, males voice, or was it a young boy's voice, say, "It sounds like it came from over here…"

'Oh, no. Who could that be now? If there is a God, please, just let me die in peace. Don't let whoever that is find me.' I thought to myself in pain, the fact that I wanted to die instead of anyone finding me shows how much those godforsaken humans have hurt me.

But my wish, like always, was ignored and the person found me and said, "Oh! You've fallen down, haven't you…" The voice, which SEEMED childish and innocent, but that could be a ruse, the voice then asked me. "Are you okay? Here, get up…"

Despite my better judgement, I looked up, expecting to see a kid around my age. I instead saw a strange goat monster wearing blue pants, and a green and yellow striped shirt, looking down at me with actual concern on his face with his hand outstretched. "What's your name?" The goat boy asked me in concern.

This surprised me, no one, not a single person in my life shown any bit of concern over my wellbeing, and yet, here's this Monster, who probably doesn't even know if I could be dangerous to him or not, and yet, here he is, offering a hand to me, it…warmed my heart very slightly.

I took a deep breath, and despite what my better judgement was telling me, through pained breath I slowly said, "Ch-Chara. M-my na-name… is Chara. Chara… Éadóchas." I was part Irish, at least, from my father's side of the family. But that was generations ago. "But, please, just call me Chara. I'm no longer part of the Éadóchas family."

The goat boy was quiet for a while, before he said, "Chara, huh? That's a nice name. My name is Asriel. Asriel Dreemurr." The goat monster said. "What happened to you?"

My throat hitched at remembering my recent escape from the humans. But I shook my head and softly said, "I don't want to talk about it, Asriel. Please?"

Asriel frowned slightly at my answer, before he nodded, then he carefully picked me up, and rested me on his back before he started to sing some kind of lullaby or something.

(A/N: Thechaosmaster: Okay, look, I wrote this segment late at night on September the 20th,2021, and I thought it was pretty cool. Was I inspired from Undertale The Musical by Man On The Internet? Uh, duh! This is 'Memory' after all. I have listened to that 4-hour masterpiece like, a hundred times now, at LEAST! And if you guys don't like it, please, PLEASE let me know, I wanna do this series right, but, either way, enjoy!)

"It's not fair to be alone, after what you've been through.

So let me be your best friend. Please let me stay with you.

I'll keep trying to reach out, I'm never leaving you. Determination fuels me, I want to be with you.

I will show my love always, because it's clear to me, together we'll do anything, our life isn't easy, I will stay here by your side.

I know it's frightening, to think that you might now leave, but that my friend is why, I'll be in your life always, and hold you tight and close.

We will be together here, until it's safe to go. I will show my love always, because it's clear to me, together we'll do anything, our life isn't easy."

Hearing this goat monster sing me what could only be described as a lullaby to me, felt, nice. Not to mention that his voice was actually very soothing to me, and in no time, I felt myself relaxing as this goat monster carried me. "Let's go see mom, she'll know what to do." I heard Asriel say softly to me.

After hearing this kind monster suggest that, I couldn't muster up the strength to argue with him. And finally, after hearing that we were going to mom, had I realized that I was dreaming, but I just wanted to enjoy hearing my brothers voice once again.

To be in his arms again. Looking up at him, I said, happily, "Just… let me… close my eyes… for… a few… minutes… Azzie. I missed you holding me like this… Brother… As well as that… stupid lullaby of yours." I said sleepily.

It was then that I heard a familiar voice called out my name. "Chara? Chara? Chara!" It was Frisky, I wanted to get back to her, but I didn't want to leave Azzie again.

Then Azzie looked down to me and he had a different expression on his face as he said, "Take care, sister, be safe. Protect Frisk every step of the way. And I'm sorry, for everything I've done to hurt you."

That was when my mind was cleared from the fog of the past, and I realized that I wasn't JUST reliving said past, this was MY Azzie, and I asked, "Wait. Azzie? Azzie!? What do you mean? Forgive you for what? The plan backfiring was my…"

"No, not the plan, Chara." Azzie said to me, sorrow clear in his voice.

"Then, what? Brother, tell me! I miss you!" I cried out, wanting to talk to him once more.

"Chara, please, wake up." I heard Frisky say softly to me. I could feel tears flowing from my eyes.

Azzie smiled softly as he said, "Whose the crybaby now?" He then hugged me tightly, tears falling down his face.

I returned the hug and, with my own tears I said with a sad smile, "Even with both of us dead, you're still the Crybaby King, Azzie." This caused us both to chuckle lightly, 'cause that was once my little nickname for him, and he hated it too, so he created an annoying nickname for me too to get back at me with. Then, after getting the tears out, I sniffled and put my face deeper into his shoulder as I said, "I don't want to let go."

Azzie sniffed as well, tears overflowing from his eyes, pain clear as crystals, as he said, "Yeah, I know, sis. I don't either. But, like I always sang in my lullaby, I'll always be with you. Right here." He then pointed at my chest and said, "A part of me will always be with you, in your SOUL, Chara. If you ever need me, just remember, I'm never apart from you. We're best friends after all, right?"

I smiled sadly, even though I didn't understand what he had meant by that. All I knew, was that there were tears falling down my cheek as I sadly said, "Yeah. Best friends forever, Azzie. Best friends forever."

Azzie smiled as he tearfully smiled and said, "Now, go and see that girlfriend of yours, Care-bear."

I growled at him, that was the dreaded nickname I hated more than even humanity. So much so, that I didn't catch the fact that he knew that Frisky was my girlfriend. The worst part was that he mispronounced my name in order to call me Care-Bear. Time and time again I told him my name is pronounced ' Car a.' But he will sometimes pronounce it as 'Care a.'

And it pisses me off, and he knows it, which was why he called me that stupid nickname in the first place. Then the world was engulfed in light, and that was when I yelled out, "I TOLD YOU NEVER TO CALL ME THAT!"

"Carrie?" Frisky's voice asked me in surprise. That was my hint that I wasn't dreaming any more, what a perfect time for me to wake up.

I blinked a little bit, the whiteness I had experienced fading away until I was staring at the ceiling. I floated around, before looking down at Frisky who seemed to be giving me a strange expression. "Oh, Frisky…uh, how much did you hear?" I asked with a small blush, making my cheeks an even darker shade of red than they already are.

Frisk looked at me strangely as she raised a single eyebrow and said, "Uhm, just you yelling at someone to never call you something again. Were you dreaming?"

"No! I…" I stopped myself from mentioning Azzie, as I wasn't sure she would believe me, and instead, I nervously said, "Ye-yeah, back when I first fell down into the Ruins and met Azzie." I half lied, not wanting to mention my weird conversation with my deceased brother. Nor repeat that stupid nickname he has for me.

Frisk looked around and she asked, "Well, where are we now?"

I looked around and saw piles of junk and said, "Well, by the looks of the area, my best guess is, the dump. I guess that when Undyne… Wait! How did you survive that fall?"

Frisk shrugged her shoulders and pointed towards a bed of flowers and said, "I think that flowerbed saved me."

"You're welcome, you idiot. Heh heh." A very familiar voice said from the flowers, we slowly, and fearfully turned to see Flowey staring at Frisk with a cheerful smirk as he stuck his tongue out and winked and said, "Howdy! You didn't forget about me, didja?"

I watched as Frisk took a few steps back in fear as she asked, "Flowey!?"

Flowey nodded as he said, "Yep. Your BEST FRIEND." He got an evil grin on his face as he asked, "You done talking to yourself, idiot?"

Frisky stuttered a bit, "Uh, ye-yeah. Just a memory… Wait…" It was then that things started to click for Frisky, and she said, "YOU saved me!? Why?"

Flowey then grinned darkly as he said, "Don't get any bright ideas, you idiot. I didn't save you to be NICE." The tone in which Flowey said the word 'nice' sent shivers down mine and Frisk's spine. "I did it because you're entertaining to watch. Making friends with Smiley Trashbag and Papyrus, and watching you keeping to your so-called morals. And it would be extremely boring once again if you died so soon. Heh-heh-heh."

I slightly shivered at hearing the pure venom in Flowey's voice when he said morals. "Wh-what do y-you me-mean that I-I'm en-entertaining, Fl-Flowey?" Frisky managed to stutter out, trying her best to keep herself calm in the demonic face of the floral menace.

The demonic grin on Flowey's face grew even larger as he said, "Simple. See, for a while now, I had a very, unique, power. One which let me reset this world back to the Ruins, sort of like a special kind of Time Travel, in a way. I did many things with this ability. But, once YOU fell down here, I lost this power of Reset."

There is really something wrong with this flower, I would say that he's crazy, but there's something that tells me that there is more to him than meets the eyes, or, like something is missing. Then Flowey relaxed his expression, going from a psychotic looking flower to a, somewhat, pleasant looking one. Well, as pleasant as a murderous Flowey can get at a time like this, that is.

Then, summoning two vines, he shrugged with them, before saying. "But, hey, that's fine with me. After all, I did everything I could in this world, and I eventually became board with how predictable everyone became, well, almost everyone. SHE always seemed to be slightly different. Almost as if she knew what was going on, but, she never said anything on any of my, Pacifist Routes, but anyways…"

Flowey shrugged once more with his vines as he spoke, "So, after doing things over and over again, for what seemed like years, I simply, let the world move on without me interfering. But, now with YOU in control of that power, he-he, I have a little bit of entertainment, after all, you're someone I can't predict. Heh-heh-heh."

I watched as Frisk shivered in fright at Flowey's voice, but then Flowey's voice turned serious as his eyes hardened and he said, "Look, here's some words of advice from me, your best friend, Flowey." His grin widened ever so slightly at this, before returning back to a more serious expression. "Be wary of the Smiley Trashbag. If you really want to stay true to your so called 'Pacifist' route, or, at the very least, this 'Neutral' route, you're on, then, by all means, go right ahead. He-he-he. Just be very cautious around the Smiley Trashbag." Flowey laughed darkly, but there was something in his voice that just felt, wrong.

"See, Smiley Trashbag was responsible for many of my "Resets" in the past." Flowey said, and at this point, I'm starting to think that he's talking about Sans, but, wait… before I could put the pieces together, Flowey said, "Do NOT, under any circumstances let your guard down near him. He might be lazier than that talking rock in the ruins, but, if you make any kind of mistakes, take even a single step out of line, or even hurt Papyrus in ANY sort of way, then, heh, well, to coin a phrase he loves saying soooooo much… You're going to have a bad time."

Flowey's voice grew dark and malevolent as his face twisted into that horrifying grin from before, laughing maniacally. "Oh, but it's not Sans you have to fear right now, is it? Nor is it me anymore, either, is it? No, Undyne is the one you REALLY fear now, isn't she?" That evil grin growing wider and wider with every word he spoke.

I watched as Frisk backed away from Flowey at the mere mention of Undyne, then Flowey said, "That's right. But, hey! Maybe you'll learn all about the powers you now possess when, and yes, I said when, not if, you die, over and over, again and again. And I KNOW that you will, especially with Undyne after you, then, well… sooner or later you'll learn that, in this world, IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED! ! ! Ah ha ha-ha-ha-ha!"

And with that piece of nightmare fuel, Flowey smiled darkly at Frisk and said, "Good luck, brat. You'll need it." Then, without another word, Flowey was gone, leaving me and Frisk frightened at what real horrors this living buttercup was capable of.

After regaining our composer, and grabbing my hand for moral support, me and Frisky shared a silent look, before moving onwards, after making our way to another SAVE point, when Frisk touched it, deciding to try to lighten the mood, I said, "The waterfall here seems to flow from the ceiling of the cavern… Occasionally, a piece of trash will flow through… and fall into the bottomless abyss below. Viewing this endless cycle of worthless garbage… It fills you with determination."

Frisk took several deep breaths and she said, "I really hope we don't end up seeing Undyne any time soon after that last chase. 'Cause, I really don't think I can dodge her attacks forever." Clearly, she was trying her best to focus more on Undyne chasing her, than whatever warning Flowey had given us.

As we proceeded forward, Frisk found a cooler full of Astronaut Food, and put it in her satchel, then I gave Frisk a sympathetic smile as I said, "Hey, don't worry, Frisky. Even if we do encounter Undyne again, I'll be right here for your support. You're never alone, Frisk." I then floated close to her and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead and said, "Never."

Frisk blushed in embarrassment, then she smiled softly at me and said, "Thank you, Chara. I really needed that." We walked passed a dummy, which seemed beat up and in terrible condition, but we just ignored it, not really bothered by it at all.

As we reached the end of the room, me and Frisk heard the sound of something splashing, we turned around and noticed that the old training dummy that was in the dump was gone. And it was now right in front of us and was a dark yellow color and was glaring at Frisk very angrily. "Hahaha… It's just like you to run away."

Frisk backed away a few paces and, in a slightly frightened tone, she asked, "Who are you?"

"I am a ghost that lives inside a DUMMY." The Mad Dummy said, well, angrily. "My cousin used to live inside a DUMMY, too. Until…" They then glared as hard as inhumanly possible and said, "YOU CAME ALONG! When you talked to them, they thought they were in for a nice chat. But the things you SAID…! Horrible. Shocking! UNBELIEVABLE! It spooked them right out of their dummy!"

The harsh tone of Mad Dummy's voice made Frisk shiver in fright, and she tried to plead with the Dummy and said, "Please, Mister Dummy, I didn't do anything, I swear!" The kindness in her voice was evident.

But the Mad Dummy was too enraged to listen, and they said, "HUMAN! I'll scare your SOUL out of your body!" They then became dark red and began twitching like crazy. And within moments, we were in another fight.

"Mad Dummy blocks the way!" I said as Frisk's narrator, Frisk used her CHECK option, and I said, "MAD DUMMY – ATK 30 DEF YES. Because they're a ghost, physical attacks will fail."

Then the Mad Dummy said, "Feeble. Feeble! FEEBLE!" Then they summoned three smaller dummies, which created spheres of magic that were sent flying at Frisk's direction, she managed to dodge them, but then I noticed that several more appeared behind her, "Frisk! 6 'o clock!"

Frisk quickly turned around and saw the projectile coming up from behind her, and she dived out of the way, only for the projectiles to hit the Mad Dummy. Then the Mad Dummy angrily said, "OWWWW, you DUMMIES! Watch where you're aiming your MAGIC attacks!" Then the Dummy's eyes widened as they said, "Hey! You! Forget I said anything about MAGIC!" They then started sweating nervously.

Me and Frisk shared a look, and we both nodded. We now knew Mad Dummy's weakness, and all we have to do is put it into action. I turned to Mad Dummy and said, "Mad Dummy is looking nervous."

Frisk, already knowing that talking would be useless in this situation, so, instead she just simply hit the MERCY button, and waited for Mad Dummy's attack.

"I'll defeat you and take your SOUL!" Responded Mad Dummy. They then summoned more dummies, who unleashed more magical attacks onto Frisk, who tricked them into attacking Mad Dummy. Mad Dummy then started dancing around.

"Mad Dummy is doing an armless ska dance." I said to Frisky without a thought.

'What's a ska dance, Chara?' She asked me as she once again hit the MERCY button.

I smiled at my girl before raising my finger and said, "Well, Frisky, it's a…" I blinked a few times before I realized that I didn't, in fact, know what a Ska dance, was and I said, "Actually, I don't really know. How the hell did I know what kind of dancing Mad Dummy was doing?"

But before we were able to contemplate this question, Mad Dummy said, "I'll use your SOUL to cross the barrier!"

Once more, Mad Dummy created more dummies to attack Frisky, but her ability to dodge was what allowed her to reposition the attacks to Mad Dummy, but not all attacks missed, she got hit once, and her HP was reduced by 2, leaving her HP at, 'Wait, when did Frisky's maximum HP raise to 16.5? Because now it's at 13.5. How did it rise by 1.5? When did this happen?'

'Chara, hon? Can we focus on the fight right now, we can wonder about my HP another time.' I heard Frisky say through her thoughts.

"Wait. How did you hear me?" I asked in confusion. Now I am wondering how the hell Frisky heard my thoughts.

'Seriously? hon, you're projecting them quite loudly. It's kinda hard NOT to hear them.' Frisk thought to me. And I blushed at how I accidently transmitted my thoughts to Frisky.

"Mad Dummy glares into a mirror, then turns to you with the same expression." I said, narrating Mad Dummy's anger at their reflection.

Once more, Frisky silently hits the MERCY button, choosing to SPARE Mad Dummy, who responded with, "I'll use your SOUL to cross the barrier!"

Frisk once more tricked the dummies to hit Mad Dummy with their magic, making them more enraged than before, if that was even possible, that was.

Unfortunately, Frisky got hit a few times, dropping her HP down to 10.5. "Frisky, please be careful. I don't want to see you get hurt." I was getting very concerned about the safety of Frisky. 'Guess it's true what they say, falling in love with someone makes you worry more about them more than usual.' I thought to myself.

'Relax, babe. I got this.' Frisky told me with a confident, yet at the same time, flirtatious, smile on her face, which ended in a wink. Leaving me blushing at her slight flirtatious personality. Even in the face of danger, Frisky can't resist a chance to Flirt.

"Frisky, save the flirting for AFTER we're away from danger, if you please?" I asked her with slight worry, but also a hint of annoyance. Like, seriously, girl, this Dummy is out for your blood, and here you are FLIRTING with me! I know we're girlfriends and everything, but kindly save all flirtatious shenanigans for AFTER!

Then, while I was mentally telling Frisky to focus, in a way she'll never hear, the Mad Dummy said, "I'll stand in the window of a fancy store!"

Once more Frisk continued dodging the Dummy attacks, making them hit Mad Dummy instead, which only seemed to piss them off even further.

Then I noticed a cut on Mad Dummy's chest, which led to cotton getting everywhere. And without even thinking, I said, "Mad Dummy is getting cotton all over the dialogue box."

I then stopped and realized what I had just said. And apparently, I wasn't the only one confused. 'Uh, Chara, are you sure you didn't somehow hit your head during that fall? Because I think you're starting to talk nonsense now.'

I rubbed my head as Frisk spoke, and I am pretty sure that she was right, I rubbed my head, not really certain what I was saying anymore. Anyways, Frisky once more hit the SPARE button, and Mad Dummy loudly said, "THEN EVERYTHING I WANT WILL BE MINE!"

Frisky quickly dodged some attacks, but she was hit by a stray ghost strike, and when she got the chance, she ate her Nice Cream before looking at the stick. "It says, 'You look nice today.' Your HP was maxed out."

Frisky then gave the Mad Dummy a look, and they said, "Huh? Yeah, I guess that'll avenge my cousin."

Frisky continued to dodge every attack the Mad Dummy threw at her and redirected their attacks right back at him. As Frisky once more tried to SPARE Mad Dummy, they asked, "What was their name again…?" Each time Frisky redirected the dummies attacks at Mad Dummy, Mad Dummy grew more and more frustrated, and I could tell that their anger was starting to reach a boiling point.

Once again Frisky hit the MERCY button, hoping to end this fight as quickly as possible. But once more, Mad Dummy spoke, "Whatever. Whatever! WHATEVER!"

Then she was bombarded with even more dummy attacks, and once more, she redirected the magic balls at Mad Dummy, making him angrier. Seriously, how angry can one dummy get? For some reason, I suddenly got the image of a big, green, hulking monster, with glowing green eyes, and wearing ripped, purple pants, appeared in my mind. Wonder what that was about?

"Foolish. Foolish! FOOLISH!" Mad dummy yelled out in rage. That was when they turned to their dummy army and said, "HEY GUYS!" Then all the dummies surrounded Frisk, and Mad Dummy said, "Dummies. Dummies! DUMMIES! Remember how I said NOT to shoot at me? Well…" Boy, did that not sound very good. "FAILURES! YOU'RE FIRED! YOU'RE ALL BEING REPLACED!"

'Wow. That sounds…harsh. Especially coming from a dummy.' I heard Frisk think to me, and I couldn't but help but to agree with her.

Then the army of dummies left, leaving me and Frisky a little, confused as to what Mad Dummy was planning next. "Hahaha. Hahaha! HAHAHA!" Welp, guess they decided to laugh like a maniac. "Now you'll see my true power: Relying on people that aren't garbage!"

It was then that me and Frisky began hearing something and I said, "Mechanical whirrs fill the room."

'Uh…' Frisky began, already confused as to what was happening. But she quickly pressed her SPARE button, already done with this psycho dummy, and honestly, so was I.

But that was when the nightmare began. "DUMMY BOTS! MAGIC MISSLE!"

Then, out of nowhere, massive, tanks surrounded Frisk, and I knew, we were screwed. "Uh, Frisky, I don't want to alarm you or anything, but you might want to DODGE!"

Frisk didn't even bother to respond to me and instead began running around the dump, trying to avoid the missiles, but these were harder to dodge, mostly because they followed Frisk around, but she ran towards the Mad Dummy, and just before she ran headfirst into it, she quickly turned left, causing the missiles to hit the Mad Dummy head on.

"Mad Dummy is bossing around its bullets." I said, nervous as to the safety of Frisky.

"DUMMY BOTS! TRY AGAIN!" Mad Dummy yelled out at the literal TANKS that had surrounded Frisky.

'SHIT!' Frisky mentally swore in her head as she started running again, before charging straight at Mad Dummy, and slide dodged to the right, causing all the missiles to hit the Mad Dummy once more.

"DUMMY BOTS! You're awful?" Mad Dummy asked angrily surprised at the tanks.

"Well, that's not very nice." I said softly, because I wasn't sure if Mad Dummy could even hear me. They said that they were a ghost possessing a dummy, so that must mean that they're a lot like Napstablook, then. And I wasn't in a hurry to find out if ghosts can hit other ghosts.

'Chara, how much longer can we keep this guy from hurting me? I've been lucky as fuck right now! But I can't keep this up forever! We need to find a way to end this fight quickly!' Frisk thought to me, and I could hear the exhaustion in her mental voice as she thought, and I was beginning to worry about her.

But before we could do anything, Mad Dummy unleashed more missiles at her, and caused them all to hit the Mad Dummy once more. "DUMMY BOTS! FINAL ATTACK!"

And just like that, we knew that we had reached the end of this fight, Frisk got ready to move at a moment's notice, and then, the missiles began firing once more, and Frisk, one final time, redirected them at Mad Dummy, whose rage reached its peaked at being hit again.

"N…no way! These guys are even WORSE than the other guys! Who cares. Who Cares! WHO CARES! I DON'T NEED FRIENDS!" Then Mad Dummy pulled out a knife from out of nowhere, and they said, "I'VE GOT KNIVES!"

Frisk was starting to look worried and I gently placed my hand on her shoulder and said, "Easy, Frisky. You got this. It looks like just an ordinary knife. Not only that, but it looks like he's only got one. So, all you have to do is dodge it, and he will be out if knives, okay, dear?"

Frisk nodded and she got herself ready to dodge out of the way, then, the Mad Dummy threw the knife and she quickly jumped out of the way, and the knife harmlessly flew past her, but she crashed onto the ground, and she looked up at me and nodded silently.

'Good, she's safe.' I thought as I breathed a sigh of relief, at least, I hope that it was over. I'm not certain how much my nonexistent heart can take of this.

It was then that Mad Dummy seemed to hesitate for a short while before they said, "I'm…Out of knives." Then the Mad Dummy began going ballistic as they said, "BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER! YOU CAN'T HURT ME AND I CAN'T HURT YOU! YOU'LL BE STUCK FIGHTING ME… Forever. Forever! FOREVER! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

And just like that, the Mad Dummy has gone completely coocoo for Coco Puffs. But, then they're insane laughter was ended by what appeared to be raindrops started to fall down on they're heads.

"Wh…What the heck is this!?" Mad Dummy asked in distress as they got hit by some acid rain or something.

Frisk accidently got hit, lowering her HP by one and she said, "OUCH!" Frisk rubbed her arm gently before she realized something and she said, "Hey, wait a minute. This feels, familiar. Is this…?"

But the Mad Dummy wasn't having a very good time, and they said, "Ergh! Acid rain!? Oh. FORGET IT! I'm outta here!" And with that, Mad Dummy slid out of sight.

It wasn't long before a familiar bedsheet ghost floated down into view. "BLOOKY!" Me and Frisk called out in joyful surprise.

But the sad ghost didn't look to happy, but then again, it was really hard to get a solid reading on Blooky. "…sorry. i interrupted you, didn't i? as soon as i came over, your friend immediately left…"

I shook my head and happily spoke to the only other Monster who could both hear AND see me. "I wouldn't exactly call that guy our 'Friend' Blooky."

"oh no…" The timid ghost began, "you guys looked like you were having fun… oh no… i just wanted to say hi…"

I smiled softly at the bedsheet ghost and said, "Hey, don't worry about it, Blooky. Besides, that guy was being a little, violent, to us."

Blooky turned to me and sadly said, "oh no…" And with that, this "fight" was finally over, and we exited out of the battle box.

Blooky looked to us and said, "well… i'm going to head home now… oh… umm… you two are free to 'come with' if you want… but no pressure… i understand if you're busy… it's fine… no worries… just thought i'd offer…"

And with those final words, the timid bedsheet ghost had left, leaving me and Frisky by ourselves. I turned to Frisky and asked, "So, what do you say of hanging out with Blooky for a little while, Frisky?"

Frisky nodded quite adamantly and she said, "That sounds like fun!"

We then held hands and followed after Napstablook, when we caught up to them, they turned to us and said, "hey… my house is up here… in case you two want to see… or in case… you don't."

My god, why is this very nice ghost so, dare I make that joke, down in the dumps? sigh 'I think Frisky and Sans are starting to rub off on me.' I thought to myself, but I couldn't help the warm smile on my face. 'Maybe not all puns are horrible. Just as long as they're not used in quick succession with each other, that is.'

They then quickly floated upwards, probably towards their house and Frisky walked towards a nearby SAVE point and I said, 💥"You feel a calming tranquility. You're filled with Determination…"💥

Frisky smiled at me and asked, "So, Carrie, you ready to hang out with our depressed ghost friend? Maybe we can, lighten his mood." She had that cheerful smile that seemed to be able to light up the darkness.

I smiled softly at her and lightly blushed as she used my new nickname once again, then I said, "Sure, why not? Besides, Blooky sounds like they could use a few friends. So, let's go befriend this sad ghost, my little Frisky Frisk."

And with that, me and Frisky followed shortly after the depressed ghost. When we finally arrived at two mirroring, crooked houses, with the only differences being, that the house on the left was blue and leaning to the left a bit, and the one on the right, was pink and was leaning to the right a bit. Both houses looked like they were wearing hats because of how the roofs were designed. I turned towards Frisky and asked, "You have any idea as to where Blooky's house would be?"

Almost immediately after asking that question, we heard music coming from the blue house on the left and Frisky turned to me and said, "I think that the blue house would be a safe bet." I nodded in agreement, then we headed towards the source of the music.

When we entered the house, we saw a large fridge, a T.V., and Blooky hovering over a computer, Frisk then lightly knocked on the wall and politely said, "Excuse us, Blooky, we're not interrupting you, are we?"

Blooky quickly turned to us and with wide eyes, they said, "oh… you girls really came…" They actually sounded very surprised that we decided to come and visit them. "sorry, i… wasn't expecting that." Blooky looked around their house and said, "it's not much, but make yourselves at home."

I smiled warmly at Blooky as we entered and Frisky shut the door and I said, "Thanks, Blooky. It's a little nice to know that we can relax somewhere relatively peaceful. Thank you."

Blooky nodded at me and said, "i will say… it is odd for a ghost child to be following a living child around, why is that? oh… sorry if that sounds personal…"

I shook my head and waved my hand dismissively as I said, "It's not a problem, Blooky. I mean, before we'd met you, Frisky here," I jab my thumb towards my girl as I said, "was the only person who could both hear AND see me. So, this is a little unusual for us as well." Well, not counting mom after our FIGHT with her. But, I'm still not sure if it was just the heat of the moment or something that allowed my voice to be heard by her.

Frisky nodded and said, "Yeah, but I wouldn't have it any other way." She then leaned next to me and kissed my cheek, causing me to blush deeply. Damn this girl. Why'd she have to be overly affectionate right now? But I couldn't help but smile warmly at her

As we walked in and saw that Blooky was being honest at how their house wasn't much, their house pretty much consisted of a large fridge, a T.V. a computer setup, and wait. My eyes widened at what appeared, could they be? Yes! Cassette players! "Blooky, do you make music?" I asked the very shy ghost, looking at three different cassette players.

Blooky looked away with a red hit of a blush on their cheeks as they said, "ye-yeah, it's something that i actually enjoy doing… why?"

I smiled softly at him and said, "Me and my adopted brother once wrote and composed a song together, it was only one song, but it was ours."

"oh, that sounds nice…" The shy ghost said, and I could have sworn that I saw a light blush on their cheeks, but I brushed it off as it being a trick of the light.

I floated over towards the mixtapes and asked, "Hey, Blooky, you don't mind if I play one of these, do you?"

Blooky glanced over to their side and said, "y-yeah…sure, i guess…only if, you want to, that is…"

I softly smiled, before looking over at the three mixtapes, and deciding to play the one labeled 'Spooktunes' and played it. And soon, the room was filled with the sound of, what I wanna say, 8-bit notes that sounded very, melancholy, yet, had a little bit of a cheerful undertone, just like Blooky themselves.

"oh…" Blooky started as they heard the music I chose. "a classic spooktune… they don't make songs like this anymore… guess that is why i wrote it in first place…"

It was then that Blooky seemed to have realized something and they said, "oh, i just realized, i never got your names… sorry, that sounded rude…sorry…"

Me and Frisky just giggled lightly at this, mostly because it was true. They were in quite the hurry to make themselves scarce that they didn't ask for OUR names, and I said, "Don't worry about it, Blooky."

"Yeah, it's not rude at all to ask someone their name." Frisky said with that gentle smile of hers, then she said, "My name is Frisk. Just Frisk."

I smiled at her, sometimes I wonder if she has some kind of superpower that allows her to befriend almost every monster she meets, because this is just absurd. But I turned to Blooky and with a slight bow, I said, "And I'm the former living Princess, Chara Dreemurr. But you can just call me Chara, Blooky."

It was then that Blooky's eyes widened as they said, "oh… i didn't know i was gonna have royalty in my house today… if i did i probably would've cleaned up my house a bit…" They then blushed very lightly, it was actually kinda funny to see a ghost blush.

Then again, I blush, yet, I have no blood vessels… 'Wait a minute. How the hell can ghosts blush!? We don't have blood vessels!' I thought to myself in realization. But I quickly brushed it off. 'Not a problem I should be thinking of right now.'

I lightly giggled as I waved my hand dismissively and said, "Hey, don't worry about it, Blooky. I mean, I've been dead for a century, and it wasn't until Frisky here decided to drop in did I wake up from my slumber. And I find it to be a nice wakeup call. Well, despite everything that has changed in the last century, that is." I said the last part under my breath, so that the good mood wasn't ruined.

This, and by this, I mean the words that they heard, seemed to make both Frisky and Blooky smile a little bit, then Frisky walked up to the fridge and Blooky asked, "oh… are you hungry… i can get you something to eat…"

Blooky then floated up to the fridge and Frisky backed away from it, and they took something out and said, "this is a ghost sandwich… do you want to try it…"

Frisky gave Blooky a warm smile as she said, "Sure. I'd love too!"

Blooky handed the sandwich to Frisky, who tied to take a bite out of it, but her teeth phased right through it. "oh… nevermind…" Blooky said in a bit of depression.

I held out my hand and said, "I'll try it, Frisky. After all, I AM a ghost." Frisky smiled warmly at me, and she handed me the sandwich and I took a bite out of it, and it exploded into flavor. "My word! It's delicious! Thanks, Blooky! This is the first thing I've eaten since I came back as a ghost, and it's the best! I swear, this is almost as good as moms Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie! And THAT'S saying something!" I smiled warmly at the very timid ghost in appreciation.

Blooky blushed in embarrassment as I finished off the ghost sandwich. Then they said, "after a great meal i like to lie on the ground and feel like garbage… it's a family tradition… do you two want… to join me…"

Me and Frisky smiled at Blooky and we both said, "Yes, we would love too, Blooky!"

Blooky seemed to smile ever so slightly as he said, "okay… follow my lead…" They then floated over to the middle of the room and we followed them, then all three of us lied down on the floor and gazed at the ceiling and just listened to Spooktunes that had been playing in Blooky's house. "here we go…" Blooky said. "you'll lie down as long as you don't move."

'Gee, you don't say, Blooky.' I thought to myself with a small smile on my face. Despite how they may act, Blooky was a very decent monster to be around. They may be shy and timid, but they're very kind as well.

Then Blooky once more said, "so… only move around when you want to get up, i guess."

And we laid down like this for a very long time, despite lying on the ground, I actually had to admit, this was very nice. I closed my eyes and began to enjoy this one single moment of rest and relaxation. But then the music that was playing in the background soon began to grow quiet and distant, and soon, it became silent.

That was when I opened my eyes to ask why the music went quiet, and my voice went silent at what it was that I saw. What I saw was that the world had changed to look, almost cosmic. Galaxies danced all around us, and it appeared as if we were floating off the ground.

But I didn't dare move, afraid to break whatever spell I was under, and gazed at countless stars that seemed to have somehow enter Blooky's house. It was, dare I say it, beautiful. Who knew lying on the ground and feeling like garbage would allow me to see something as beautiful as this.

I once more closed my eyes and reflected on everything that led me to this point. 'Almost seven years of being in a living hell because of my fucking birthparents and my entire fucking fucked up village. Then, the glorious almost five years of absolute perfection of living with the Dreemurr's. Then to that stupid plan of killing myself with Buttercups and having Azzie absorb my SOUL and getting both of us killed, to meeting Frisk and finding a happiness that I never thought possible.'

I glanced over to my girlfriend and saw the sheer amazement that was visible on her face and I thought. 'To think, all of this started when Frisky entered into the Underground and landed on my grave. Was it a pure coincidence that my grave is what saved Frisky's life? Or, was it fate that it was Frisky who had awoken me from that death state I was in? 'Cause, the last six kids landed on my grave as well, they just had to have.'

I just had a sudden realization. 'Seven other HUMAN kids fell into the Underground, but it was MY GRAVE that inadvertently saved them. I hated humans with a passion, and didn't care if they lived or not, but in the end, I SAVED more human lives then I wanted to. Not that it mattered, of the six original kids, not a single one of them held the DETERMINATION to fully awaken me.' This was a thought that had been bugging me since Frisky first told me of the other humans that had fallen down here.

'If I had awoken to either one of them, would I have been able to guild them as well? Would I have been able to convince Amanda to stay with mom, for her own protection and safety? Would I have been able to give Tiana the advice needed to let Undyne know not to bring her to dad? Would I have been able to tell Triston that the monsters weren't as dangerous as they looked? Could I have saved any one of the other humans that fell down here? Or, would I have just hated their guts and ignored Azzie's dying wish?'

I sighed softly as I gazed towards a galaxy nearby and thought, 'I just wish that I had the insight to know that humans would've attacked us when we arrived on the surface, if I did, then none of this would have happened, and none of those kids would have had to die.'

But, then, a stray thought came to my mind. One that terrified me. 'But, if none of that had happened…' I looked towards Frisky, who had a look of relaxation on her adorable face of hers as I thought, 'If that plan hadn't failed, and we succeeded in breaking the barrier, or at least, wasn't attacked by the humans, I wouldn't have ever met Frisky.'

I felt an aching pain in my chest at that very thought, and it scared me to death… Er, redeath? Undeath? I don't know how to describe it, all I know is that, that lone though, scares the crap outta me.

'And, that is something that I don't think I could handle. I'm just, happy. That, after every single godforsaken mistake I've ever made, and all the lives that I fucked up, this relationship with Frisky is something that I DON'T want to fuck up.'

It was then that I remembered something, and I felt a great sense of fear and worry. 'SHIT! I still haven't told Frisky about what she needs to do in order to escape! If she finds out, she'll…' I shook my head and took some much-needed deep breaths and thought, 'No. Don't think like that, Chara. Tell her afterwards. She'll understand why when you explain it to her…Right?'

I decided to just gaze at the stars that surrounded us, and just let myself get lost into its beauty once again. Ignoring each and every thought that coursed through my mind, and, becoming one with the universes. But after, say five minutes, that was when Frisk moved, and the spell was broken, and we both stood up, be it a bit, wobblily. Blooky then smiled softly and they said, "well, that was nice… thank you…"

Me and Frisky smiled back at them and Frisky said, "It is us who should be thanking you, Blooky. You are a great person, er, ghost, you know that? So, thank you very much for allowing us into your home."

I smiled as well, "Yeah, it was nice to have a place to relax at, Blooky. So, as Frisky, here said, thank you very much." I had to admit, it was nice to have a monster allow us into their home without attacking us first.

Blooky blushed in embarrassment, as they said, "oh gee… be sure to visit again… that is, if you want to… you don't have to if you don't want to…"

Without even thinking, me and Frisky rushed towards the ghost and hugged them, then Frisky said, "Blooky, you're our friend. We'll come by and see you again if we're ever in the neighborhood. That's a promise."

Blooky looked shocked at this and they asked, "you, you think of me as your friend…" His eyes were clear, he was surprised at this very notion.

I nodded this time and said, "Of course we do, Blooky. You're such a nice and polite monster, one of the kindest monsters that we have ever met. And we wouldn't have it any other way than for us to be friends."

Blooky seemed to be touched by this revelation and they closed their eyes and gave us a small smile as they said, "gee, i'm glad to hear that…" We then separated and Blooky said, "well, be sure to come back and visit me any time you want… my… friends…"

We smiled and said, "Don't worry, Blooky. We will! That's a promise!"

With once final farewell, we left Blooky's house, Spooktunes still blasting from Blooky's house, and returned to where we came in from, but, on the way to the SAVE point, we once again ran into Aaron and Woshua, Frisky was just about to ask them a question, when both monsters heard the music and gotten a very frightened expressions on their faces.

Then Woshua looked down with a weird expression as he said, "…what the HECK is that music?"

Aaron began to shiver as he said, "I-I DUNNO, DUDE BUT IT'S SPOOKIN ME OUT 😉"

"…this is worse than Shyren when she and her sister first started singing before they began practicing." Woshua said, but, I didn't know how to react to that little comment. It kinda made me wonder just how bad she was. I mean, I actually thought she had such a nice singing voice back during that concert.

"No way, Shyren is way less scary 😉. Especially during that concert." Aaron said, still frightened at the music playing.

"…if you're so scared, why do you keep winking?" Woshua asked the muscle headed merhorse.

To which he replied with, "THESE ARE WINKS OF FEAR 😉"

But Woshua seemed to be done with this as he said, "Forget it. This beat is too… …filthy." Ouch. That was uncalled for. And with that, Woshua left.

But Aaron, still shaking like a leaf, said, "Wosh! Wait! Don't leave me 😉 Is this creepy music my punishment for being creepy? 😉 Please… stop… I'll never creep again 😉 Wahhhhh!" And with that, Aaron was gone.

When both monsters were gone, me and Frisky looked one another and I said, "I think that was a little uncalled for. You know, what they said about Blooky's music. I actually like it very much."

Frisky nodded as well as she said, "So did I. I honestly think that they were overreacting. Well, c'mon. Let's stop by the SAVE point and keep on moving."

I nodded and said, "Yeah, there's actually a little place we can visit that's not far from here, now that I think about it."

After arriving at said SAVE point, Frisky placed her hand on it and she smiled at me. 'That was a lotta fun, Carrie. We definitely need to do this again!'

I smiled and playfully rubbed her hair as I said, "Yeah, that's a promise." We then headed towards the right and there it was. "Frisky! C'mon, this way!" I pointed at a mineshaft like entrance with excitement.

Frisk looked at the entrance with a raised eyebrow and asked, "What's though here?"

I smiled warmly at Frisky as I said, "This leads to Gerson Boom's shop! He's one of, if not, THE oldest monsters in the entire Underground! He is also a very great storyteller too. C'mon, let's go see him!"

Frisk seemed to shrug at this, and we headed inside the store, and there he was, an elderly green turtle with a brown work shirt and safari-like hat. He was looking through his junk as he said, "I'll be with you in a moment! Hah-hah! Just organizing my junk!" He then turned towards Frisk while brushing off his clothing from dirt and grime and said, "Woah there! I've got some neat junk for sale."

He then paused for a moment and looked right at Frisk, before he straightened out his hat and smiled brightly and said, "Woah-ho! Well, I'll be! It's been a while since a human has been through my shop! Wah ha-ha! So, what's your name, kiddo?"

Frisk smiled as she said, "I'm Frisk, just Frisk."

Gerson smiled widely as he said, "Well, Frisk, my name's Gerson Boom." He jabbed his thumb towards himself as he introduced himself. Glad he hasn't changed in a hundred years. "I'm the proud owner of all this junk! If good food and drinks are what you require, then you have come to the right place, kiddo! Wa-ha-ha!"

He then looked towards ME and his one open eye seemed to harden. His voice was calm and clear as he said, "Well, I'll be. Princess? Is that you?"

My eyes widened in shock as I asked, "You can see me, Gerson!?" I was shocked at this revelation! Blooky I can understand, with both of us being ghosts and whatnot, but Gerson? "Gerson, I'm a ghost! No one else should be able to see me, except other ghosts, and Frisk! How can you see me?"

Gerson stroked his beard and shrugged as he said, "Well, when you've been around for as long as I have, there's not much that can get past you. So, what happened to you, lass?"

I looked at him, not really wanting to tell him much, so I said, "I was buried in the far back entrance of the Ruins. The one where the large hole is located at. That was when Frisky here landed on my grave and awoken me."

Gerson's gaze seemed to harden, which surprised me, and he said, "That's not what I meant, Chara. And you know it." I looked at him in surprise and he said, "I meant, what really happened that caused you and your brother's death?" The room became deathly quiet for a long while, and I knew that Gerson wasn't in his cheerful shopkeeper personal. Now he was in his Royal Guard mode. Now, he was in his 'Hammer Of Justice' persona. The same one that he used on me and Azzie when we were being too rowdy and accidently broke something.

Not liking where this could go, I nervously pulled at my shirt and asked, "What, uh, what do you mean, Gerson? Everyone knows what happened. I died due to what humanity did to my immune system, and asked Azzie to take my SOUL, cross the barrier, and bury me in the golden flowers of my village, before the humans killed him." I was starting to get very nervous, for I knew that Gerson wouldn't buy that. He doesn't buy anything, only sells things.

Gerson's lone eye glared at me and he said, "Lass, you and I both know that's a load of bullshit. I may be old, but stupid I am not. I didn't live this long without knowing very crucial details. Your death was no accident."

I had to take a float back at this in shock at this, but not wanting to admit that I had poisoned myself, I nervously asked, "What, what do you mean, Gerson? Of course it was."

Gerson sighed as his expression became more and more saddening. "Lass, I am a shop keeper that keeps his ears to the ground. I know more about what goes on through the Underground than even most Royal Guard members do. And I don't mean the K-9 unit of Snowdin. I think only the Royal Judge himself, knows more about what goes around in the Underground than I do. And I know that your death weren't no accident."

The air in the room became chill at those words. Then I heard Frisky ask, "What do you mean, Gerson?"

Gerson looked towards Frisky with a raised eyebrow and he asked, "Lass, you mean to tell me that the princess hadn't told you how she died?"

Frisky shook her head and she said, "It seemed like a personal question to ask, so I didn't."

Gerson sighed at this, and it seemed as if he realized something, and he said, "Ah, so, that's it. She didn't want to worry you." Gerson looked over to me and as he rubbed Frisky's head in a playful motion, he said, "The truth is, your friend here, Chara, poisoned herself to free us Monsters. Didn't you, lass? It was the buttercups, wasn't it?" My silence was all the answer that he needed. I didn't dare argue with him, because I knew he was right. I didn't know how he knew, but there was no point denying it.

"…Yes." I finally said after the silence had swallowed the room. I looked up to Gerson, tears falling down my face as I said, "I just wanted to free the monsters! Me and Azzie were just gonna go to a morgue or cemetery, collect six more SOULs from the dead, and come back here and break the barrier."

But then Gerson picked up what looked to be an old umbrella as he asked, "Did you know that the humans would've attacked Asriel, Chara?"

I looked over to Frisk and could see that she was shaken up at this, then I turned to Gerson and said, "No, I didn't. But, please, Gerson, not in front of Frisky, please. She doesn't need to hear this now. She's had it as bad as me with the humans. And I don't want to bring more concern about me than she already has."

Gerson looked at me in curiosity and asked, "What do you mean by that lass?" I knew that I could tell him this, because only five monsters actually knew about the scars on my back. And I can't even remember one of their name. Who was he, anyways? Then a sudden thought came to mind. 'The last Royal Scientist was a 'he', right?'

Ignoring this confusion question for the moment, I looked at Gerson and said, "She has seen the scars on my back, Gerson. And I don't want to overexpose her with revelation after revelation. Just, drop it. Please?"

Gerson then looked down at Frisky for a long while, then he sighed, and softened his gaze as he said, "Fine, I'll drop it."

I sighed in relief at hearing this and I said, "Thanks, Gerson."

But his gazed hardened once more as he said, "But, you've got to tell her eventually, princess. She deserves the right the know."

I smiled softly as I gently rubbed Frisky's hair as she looked up at me in wonder as I said, "I know, Gerson, trust me, I know."

Gerson looked at me before asking, "One more thing, lass."

I swallowed hard at what he could ask next, and said, "Yessir?"

"When you first came into my shop," Gerson started, and I knew what was coming, and I wasn't sure how to word the answer. "you told me all about what the humans did to you. Especially seeing how Queen Toriel came to me to pick up some medical essentials suggested by young Undyne. When I asked you about your opinion on the humans, you said that you would NEVER trust another human ever again, for as long as you lived."

Frisk looked up at me in shock, and I silently nodded, and I said, "Yeah, I did say those things, didn't I?" But I knew that he was going to ask a MUCH bigger question.

"So, why is it that you haven't tried to hurt the youngling, princess?" Gerson asked without a shred of tact. "In fact, I'm surprised that you seem to be so, relaxed, around her. The Chara I knew wouldn't hesitate to hurt a single human after what she's been through… So, why the sudden change, Chara?"

I was silent, for not even I knew how to answer him, that was when Frisky looked up at Gerson and she said, "When I first met Chara, she didn't seem to hate me, it kinda felt like she was annoyed at me, at least, at first."

I lightly scoffed as I said, "It doesn't help the fact that the first question you asked me was whether or not you were supposed to see me. And remember what I said to you?" I gave Frisky a knowing smile.

She lightly blushed before saying, "Yeah, I remember, that was, what? Three days ago? You said, and I quote, 'Oh, I don't know, maybe it's because I'm supposed to be DEAD!' Yeash, Chara, you really know how to make a new girl feel welcome, you know?" She then gave me a flirtatious smile and a wink. God damnit.

I shook my head with a small chuckle as I said, "Well, you didn't make the matter any better by insisting that Azzie had purposefully hurt me, my little Frisky Frisk." We both lightly chuckled at this, knowing that we really didn't have good first impressions on each other.

Gerson then cleared his throat, getting us back on track. We watched as he looked down at Frisky and then back up at me, then he asked in a serious voice, "So, what's the truth, Princess? Couldn't bring yourself to hurt another kid?"

I shook my head, all sense of jokes and humor gone from my voice as I said, "It's not like that, Gerson!" Gerson gave me that look. The look that told me he didn't want any more lies, so, I sighed sadly and said, "The truth is, I did want to hurt Frisk when I awoke to find her on my grave."

Frisky looked at me in shock, but not horror, guess she understood, after what I went through, I would be surprised if I were her as well. "Don't take it too personally, Frisky, dear. Remember, I didn't really have the best time with humans and all that crap." All Frisky did was silently nod at me, knowing that she too, didn't have the best times with humans.

Gerson looked up at me and he asked, "If you did want to hurt this kid, then, why didn't you?"

I sighed and floated to the point where I was lying on my back in midair and said, "I knew humans were and probably still ARE dangerous, but after what happened with me and Azzie, I guess I…" I sighed and rubbed my eyes, feeling them start to sting a bit as I said, "I remembered the last thing Azzie said to me before the humans attacked, he said, 'Give them a chance, sis. Give them a chance to prove that not all of them are evil."

God, why didn't I see the obviousness of the humans hatred? Why didn't I think about what could happen AFTER we crossed the barrier? And, more importantly, why didn't I listen to Azzie? "Obviously, we both died that day, so, when I woke up and found that I was now a ghost, you can say that I felt hatred, more at myself for thinking that humans had changed, than at Azzie for his naiveite, but I also hated myself more than I hated other humans, at that moment."

I really didn't want Frisky to learn this like this, but, I had no choice but to tell it. "So, when Frisky here woke up, she appeared to be nice and polite, at first. But I wanted to make sure of that. So, I explained how things worked down here, what LOVE and EXP are, and how weak monsters are, and, well, she, a little kid, is proving to me that not all humans are pieces of crap. But one kid outta a hundred million humans ain't enough to convince me that humans have changed." I smiled softly at Frisky a little bit, showing that I still cared for her as I said, "But, she has given me hope. And right now, that's all I could ask for from her. Hope." I said the last part with a small smile and lightly rubbing her head playfully, which got an adorable squeak outta her. I then said, "I may not have liked her all that much when we first met, but now, she's my shining star in a dark abyss of my life."

I then sighed sadly, this wasn't how I wanted Frisky to find out about my original feelings about her, but at least she knows, and knows that I DON'T hate her. I looked towards Gerson and asked, "Is this fine with you, you shrewd old turtle?"

Gerson smiled at that insult, because to him, it was nothing, he knew it, I knew it, hell, even Frisky knew that I wasn't really angry at him, and he nodded, then he turned to Frisky and with that business grin of his, he asked, "So, what can I do for you, lass? You wanna buy some of my junk?" His grin wide and eager, and he was back to his normal, well normal for him, attitude.

Frisky looked around and she saw some Crab Apples, some Sea Tea, but there were two things that she found that caught her interest right away. "Uh, Mr. Gerson, where did you get these items?" She held up a pair of Cloudy Glasses, and a torn-up notebook… With the name 'Justin Quinn' written over the cover in a deep purple color.

Gerson sighed sadly as he said, "Justin was a great kid, he passed by through here a long time ago. I wanna say, fourteen years ago. One of the few customers who sat next to me and enjoyed listening to me ramble about the past. He kept this here journal and filled it with information about all of the monsters down hear in the Underground. But, after he bought some of my junk, he went further into Waterfall, but got jumped by a Temmie who got over excited."

"Temmie?" Frisk asked in confusion, I keep forgetting that this is her first time in Waterfall, so she doesn't know about the oddities of nature that are the Temmies.

"They can be described as a combination of a cat and a dog that has been drinking coffee all their life." I explained, which was completely true, the Temmies are a wild, and overly excitable species of monsters. "There were actually a few at your concert, Frisky, I'm honestly surprised none tried to come over and pet you. When I first met some, they found me adorable…" I said with a slight blush at that memory, mostly because I was a little weirded out at an animal like monster wanting to pet me, but, I did find them to be cute as well.

"Guess that's one thing both me and the Temmies can agree on. You really are cute, Carrie." Frisky said with a smile and a wink, making me blush at her flirtatious attitude. I swear, ever since I said 'yes' to being her girlfriend, she's gotten even more flirtatious than normal.

Clearing my throat, trying to ignore the sudden flirt from her, I continued, "They jitter like crazy. They speak in this weird broken English type of speech, some speak in the third person as well." I said with a soft smile on my face. "They actually have a small village near here."

Gerson nodded slightly and he said, "Yes, but, as it turned out, young Justin was deathly allergic to the Temmies. I didn't know he died until I visited near the Tem's village. There's a place where different kinds of junk fall down near there, so I headed over to see if any new junk had come from up above, instead, I found him lying covered in hives and a swollen throat with one of those little guys lying next to him in sadness, he was already gone when I found him."

Frisk and I gulped loudly and Frisky slowly asked, "What, gulp what did you did after you found him?"

Gerson sighed and he took off his monocle and cleaned it with a solemn expression as he said, "I took his stuff and kept them as a memory and called up Undyne who brought his SOUL and body to the king." Me and Frisky gasped in shock at hearing this.

"But, but, why, Gerson? Why do something like that?" Frisky asked in shocked horror, her hands covering her mouth.

Gerson sighed and leaned against his piles of junk and looked up at the glowing crystals sadly as he said, "Kids, these have been dark times we've been living in. I didn't want to surrender Justin's SOUL just as much as Undyne didn't want to bring young Tiana to the Capital."

Me and Frisky gasped at that. Undyne, didn't want to bring Tiana to dad? "We did it, not because we're heartless beasts, but because breaking of the Barrier is the only thing keeping monsters hopes up. If we didn't, the vast number of monsters that live down here would dwindle faster than a ship in a maelstrom."

Frisk then looked down at the notebook and said, "But, if she didn't want to do it, why is she so desperate to kill me and take my SOUL?"

Gerson rubbed Frisky's head and said, "Because, your SOUL is the last one us monsters would need in order to break the barrier." I gasped, they had done it. They had killed six kids and collected their SOULs.

"But, not all of them were viciously murdered as I bet you're thinking. Some, if not ALL of them were accidents and, from what I've heard, one went to King Fluffybuns willingly, and selflessly surrendered his SOUL. Boy was too kind for his own good. No sense of self-preservation at all." The excitable shopkeep said, that large smile on his face.

Gerson then chuckled lightly and said, "Maybe that was why King Fluffybuns had ordered that the humans be brought in alive. Because maybe he could give the kids a choice. Whether to live a long enough life and take their SOULs on their deathbed or surrender their SOULs peacefully. Asgore may have declared war on humanity and SAID that all humans must die to collect their SOULs, but, he said that right after you and Azzie died. And by the time that he realized his mistake, it was too late. So, he decided that all humans must be captured, ALIVE, and, make their deaths as painless as possible."

"But, if dad has ordered to bring humans in alive, why is Undyne trying to kill Frisky?" I asked in confusion. Undyne would NEVER go against dads orders, never. Undyne is someone who, despite all of her over eccentric stunts, ALWAYS follows her orders, so, why is she ignoring them now?

Gerson sighed and he said, "My guess, she's doing it because she doesn't want to feel bad about herself." I was shocked at hearing this, and Gerson said, "Undyne says that getting close to Tiana shook her to her very SOUL. She said that if she had spent just a little more time with Tiana, she would have ended up not following through with the King's orders. It hurt her to bring in someone like Tiana."

This surprised me greatly. "Are you saying that, because Undyne had almost given up on her duties because of Tiana, that, she decided to kill Frisky in order to not get herself hurt? WHY!?" I was greatly shocked at this revelation, and I wasn't liking it very much.

Gerson sighed wearily, and actually was starting to show his age. Then he looked up at me and he said, "Chara, the deaths of you and Asriel hit Undyne very hard. The two of you were her best friends and greatest students. So, when the two of you died, everyone who knew you, their hearts broke. And, it changed them, Asgore declared war on humanity, Queen Toriel went into hiding shortly after, and Undyne swore that she would do whatever it takes to break the barrier."

It was silent for a long time, until Frisky asked, "Excuse me, Gerson, would it be alright if I take these items with me?"

Gerson looked down at the book and glasses and he asked, "And why would you like those items in particular, Miss Frisk?"

Frisk placed the items to the side and started digging through her satchel, before she took off the tutu and pulled out the ballet shoes, the Manly Bandana and Gloves, as well as the badge, Ribbon and Toy Knife, then she said, "Because, throughout my journey, I've been collecting the items that belonged to the previous fallen kids, and I at least want to put them with the fallen kids. It's the least I can do for them."

I could see the thoughtful look on Gerson's face as he heard that, then he smiled broadly before laughing, "Wah ha-ha! Tell you what, kid. If you buy some of my junk, I'll give you those items. I'll even put it on the Princess's old tab! How about it?"

That surprised me, but then again, it sounded like a good idea, but then I remembered that I haven't used that Tab in a hundred years, so I asked, "Uh, Gerson, there ain't anything that I'm gonna have to pay for, is there?" Oh god, that would be annoying to take care of.

Gerson smiled a large smile as he said, "Wha-ha-ha! Worry, not, kid! Undyne came in a week after you kids died, she asked what was left to pay off from your Tab, and she paid it ALL off, saying that it would be her way of getting closure, in her own, special way."

I smiled softly at this, for I knew that was something Undyne would do, sad how things have changed with her. I turned to Frisky and said, "What do you say Frisky, up to buy a few things from the old turtle?"

Frisk nodded and she grabbed a few Crab Apples and some Sea Tea. "Wah ha-ha-ha! You seem to know what you want, kiddo. Here you go, as promised!" He then handed my girl her receipt for her items, then he suddenly thought of something. "Oh! I just realized something."

I was curious as to what just popped into the elder turtle's head and asked, "What did you realize, Gerson?"

Gerson went digging through his junk, before pulling out a syringe and tossing it to Frisky, who caught it in her hands, it looked to be a clear, crayon like thing, but it looked like it had liquid inside it, she looked down at it, before asking, "Uh, Gerson, what…what is this?"

Gerson looked down grimly, as his said, "That, young Frisk, is called an EpiPen, Dr. Alphys made it after the last human died due to a Temmie allergy. She gave it to me, because she wanted to make sure that, if another kid passed through I could give it them just in case. When you arrive at the Temmie Village, locate a Temmie called Bob."

Me and Frisky blinked in confusion before we both asked, "Bob?"We both looked at each other in surprise as we just talked in synch, before giggling at each other.

Gerson smiled softly at us before saying, "Yes, Bob. He's the only sane Temmie in their entire species. Which makes him an oddity in nature itself, because Temmie's are solely female, and completely insane. The odds of one being, not only male, but able to think rationally, are nigh impossible, and yet, it seems that even the Temmies are an oddity to themselves."

Gerson then began laughing again, before saying, "Wha-ha-ah! But, as I was saying, if you see Bob, and trust me, you'll know him when you see him, and tell him that you have the EpiPen. If anything were to happen, he'll take care of you."

"But, why would he do so? I mean, why him specifically?" Frisky asked the elder turtle shopkeep, as she carefully put the EpiPen into her satchel.

Gerson looked over his shoulder before saying, "If you see him, he might tell you himself. But, if not, don't force him. Because he's the only sane one there, he's the one who has to keep the order between the little ones." Gerson then smiled at us before saying, "But don't worry, you'll be fine."

All three of us were silent for a long time before Gerson smiled warmly as he asked, "So, any more questions you want to ask me, or are you going to go out there?"

Frisky then had a thought appear in her mind, and she said, "Well, there has been something that I've been wondering for a while now, I'm hoping you can answer it for me."

Gerson looked down at her and said, "Well, I'm not to certain I can answer every question that you might have, but, tell me what it is, and I might be able to tell you."

Frisky then looked towards me and she said, "Well, when I first arrived down in the Underground, and I met Chara, we couldn't really, interact, with each other, when we went for a handshake when we first met, and she just, went right through me, but it wasn't long until she was rubbing my hair playfully. I just want to know, how did it happen?"

Gerson rubbed his beard before asking, "Was there anything in particular that happened between her being intangible and her interacting with you, young Frisk?"

Frisk thought about it for a while, then she said, "Well, there was a moment where I had a small, breakdown, after she discovered that I was gay. And, well…" She went silent after this, clearly, the damage that the humans caused were still there.

Girl must be good at hiding her emotions, and I didn't like how she hid her pain from me. I saw too much of myself in her. And THAT'S what scared me. Well, just as long as she doesn't start laughing away the pain, like I did, I'm sure we can help her improve herself.

Seeing this was when I decided to take over and said, "I felt really bad for bringing it up. Turns out, her stupid village was either super heavy religious, or completely anti-gay. And it gotten so bad that they threw stones at her. After hearing that, I watched as she broke down and started crying. Now, I may be the leading member of the 'I hate humanity club' Gerson, but not even I could hate her after that."

Gerson seemed to nod at this, then he said, "Well, that's sadly not enough information." Both me and Frisky sighed sadly as Gerson said, "Don't get me wrong, it's still a lot, just, not enough for a clear-cut answer. I wish I could help you more, but without enough information, I just can't."

Frisky smiled softly at the old turtle and said, "It's okay, Gerson, guess we just have to figure this out on our own."

Gerson seemed to smile brightly at this, then he said, "Well, even though I couldn't help you with your mystery, is there anything else you want to ask me, Frisk?"

Frisk looked up and pointed to the Delta Rune behind Gerson and she said, "Yeah, I've been seeing that symbol all over the Underground ever since I fell down here. What does it mean?"

Gerson glanced up at the Delta Rune in surprise as he asks, "Eh? You mean to tell me that you don't know what that is? Why haven't you told Frisk about the Delta Rune, Chara? Wah ha-ha! It's the emblem of our Kingdom. The kingdom… of Monsters. Wah ha-ha! Great name, huh? It's as I always say, Ol' King Fluffybuns can't name for beans!"

I glared at the old turtle and said, "The Delta Rune was a load of garbage, Gerson. That old prophecy has been told for countless generations now. Even before the war, the Delta Rune was originally used as the Royal Emblem for the King and Queen of monsters, before the royal prophet gave a warning of a great war, and that the Delta Rune was turned into a prophecy."

Not to mention, that stupid prophecy was the reason I thought this whole fucking plan was a good idea in the first place. Just kill myself, have Azzie absorb my SOUL, grab the SOULs of the dead, come back, BAM! Barrier Broken. And look how badly that went to shit.

To which Gerson nodded and said, "That emblem actually predates written history. The original meaning, despite what young Chara here says, has actually been lost to time. All we know now is that the triangles symbolize us monsters below, and the winged circle above symbolizes… something else. Most people say it's the 'angle' from the prophecy."

"Prophecy? What prophecy?" Frisky asked in confusion. Looking at both me and Gerson. "Chara never mentioned any kind of prophecy to me."

Gerson smiled widely as he said, "Oh yeah… The Prophecy. Legend has it, an 'angle' who has seen the surface will descend from above and bring us freedom."

Frisk looked over to me in shock and I folded my arms and glared at the Delta Rune. 'Many people believed that I was the angle. But look where I ended up. A ghost bound to a TRUE angle.'

"Lately, the people have been taking a bleaker outlook. Callin' that winged circle the 'Angle of Death.' A harbinger of destruction, waitin' to 'free' us from this mortal realm. In my opinion, when I see that little circle, I just think it looks neat! Wahaha!" I kinda shivered at that thought. This must have happened VERY recently. Because everyone always saw it as a symbol of hope, now, it's been twisted. Another thing that I've ruined.

Sigh

Wonderful. Frisk then looked up to Gerson and she asked, "What can you tell me about the King? I've heard many people talk about him, but I want to know what he's like."

"King Fluffybuns?" Gerson asked in surprise, "Why, he's a friendly, happy-go-lucky kind of guy. If you keep walking around long enough, you'll probably meet him. He loves to walk around and talk to people."

"Why do you call Asgore 'Fluffybuns' Gerson?" Frisky asked with an interested expression. It appears that Frisky was in the mood to learn, which was nice to see. The girl did deserve to know more about the Underground, and there's no one better to ask then Gerson, well, except maybe dad, but… Well, I think this is just a bit safer.

I smiled softly at this and Gerson laughed as he said, "Oh, that's a great story! …" He then paused before saying, "I don't remember it. But if you come back much later, I'm sure I'll have remembered it by then." I slapped my forehead at this, but, figured, Frisky was gonna wanna come back here later, that and Gerson does love to tell his stories, so, I'll let him tell that THAT embarrassing story.

I nodded and I said, "I say it's about time we get going ourselves, Frisky. You know, before Undyne finds us, right?"

Then Gerson snapped his fingers, as if he just remembered something, and he said, "Oh, yeah, Undyne's the local hero around here. She actually looks up to me in a way, calls herself, 'The Spear Of Justice.' She takes it as her sworn duty to protect every Monster here in the Underground."

Frisky looked over to Gerson who said, "Through grit and determination alone, she fought her way to the top of the Royal Guard." Gerson squinted his one good eye and he said, "Actually, she just came through here asking about someone who looked just like you. I'd watch your back, kid."

Frisk smiled brightly at the age-old turtle and she said, "Thanks for the warning, Gerson. I will!"

"Be careful out there, kid!" Gerson said as we made our way out. "And take care of that girlfriend of yours, Chara! Wa-ha-ha!"

Me and Frisky froze where we stood, and I turned to him and nervously asked, "What, what did you say, Gerson?"

Gerson gave me that knowing smile of his and he said, "Chara, I've known you for as long as you have been down here when you were still alive. You think just because I'm old means I'm blind? Wa-Ha-Ha! Please, I can see it as clear as these here crystals. And Frisk, give Chara as much care as she needs. You must be a special kind of girl if you managed to make the PRINCESS fall for you!"

I blushed in embarrassment as Frisky asked, "What do you mean, Gerson?"

I facepalmed and whined, "Gerson, please! Don't do this!" Goddamn that grandpa turtle!

Gerson laughed and he said, "Wahaha! Young Chara here kept everyone but her family members and Undyne at an arms distant. Why, it was so bad that even young Asriel joked that Chara here would be alone forever if she didn't at least try to make friends her age. So for her to have given a relationship with another human a literal GHOST of a chance, has to mean that you mean something to her. And THAT'S impressive!"

I groaned at this, it was bad enough that the ghost/memory of my deceased brother had teased me about Frisky, now I have to have the oldest monster down here making jokes at my expense? "Nope." I said as I began gently pushing Frisky out of Gerson's shop. "It was nice seeing you again, Gerson. But this is where we check out."

Hearing this caused both Frisky and Gerson to start laughing, and Frisky turned to Gerson and asked, "Any other embarrassing things I should know about Chara, Gerson?"

But I didn't allow them to get any further as I pushed Frisky out the door. Once we exited the shop, I turned to Frisky, who had the largest grin on her face I have ever seen before. I folded my arms and said, "Oh, don't give me that grin, Frisky."

Frisk's smile just grew larger and larger as she said, "Oh, c'mon, hun. Why the angry face? It's not my fault that I rarely ever get a chance to tease you, Chara."

Despite how annoyed I was at this, I smiled softly and rubbed her hair playfully as I said, "Oh, you know that's a load of bull, Frisky, dear. You tease me all the time, but trust me, I got us out of Gerson's shop because when he tells stories, he doesn't stop. Now, c'mon. Let's keep moving. We're actually pretty close to the Temmie Village."

We entered the next chamber of Waterfall and passed by another plaque, so, doing my duties of being Frisks Narrator, I looked at the plaque, and seeing which one it was, got into me a more somber state as I said, "Hurt, beaten, and fearful for our lives, we surrendered to the humans. Seven of their greatest magicians sealed us underground with a magic spell. Anything can enter through the seal, but only beings with a powerful SOUL can leave." That, or someone with both a human, AND monster SOUL. But my dear Frisky didn't need to know that, yet.

Frisk looked down at her hands and she said, "Why must humans be so, aggressive to the passive and harmless monsters? Yes, some of the monsters here want to kill me, but that's only because they just want to see the sun. Is it just too much to ask for a single shred of kindness?" I watched as a single teardrop fell from her eyes, I gently grabbed her hand and we walked towards the next plaque.

"There is only one way to reverse this spell. If a huge power, equivalent to seven human SOUL's attacks the barrier it will be destroyed." I said reading the next plaque, feeling very uneasy about this, because of the memories that it brought up. I felt Frisky tighten her grip on my hand.

Frisky seemed to be a bit nervous about something, and what that was, was answered when she asked, "Chara, was this…" She gulped nervously before asking once more, "Chara, is this what made you commit…gulp, suicide?"

In turn to that question, I tightened my grip and nodded before saying, "Yeah, it was. But, can we please not talk about this right now. It's kinda uncomfortable for me."

Frisky, thankfully agreed to leave it be, and we walked through some water to read the next part of the monsters history and I said, "But this place has no entrances or exits. There is no way a human could come here. We will remain trapped down here forever."

Frisky looked up at me and she said, "I guess these plaques were made long before you or any of the other humans fell down here, huh, Carrie?"

I nodded with a small smile, knowing that, even though seven other humans have fallen down here, or should I say, eight, now, no one has ever decided to mention the hole near Home, and I said, "Yeah, they were, and for some reason, even after a hundred years, they still haven't changed them. Guess it's part of their history, and they don't want to rewrite it."

Frisky nodded at this, and we headed into the next room, which was dark and filled with those bioluminescent mushrooms, and slowly but surely, Frisky illuminated each mushroom, and I led her towards the fabled Temmie Village.

"So, Carrie, what can you tell me about the Temmies?" Frisky asked me in curiosity, and I can see her eyes shining with a deep desire for information, and I couldn't deny her request.

I smiled softly as I said, "Well, like I said back at Gerson's, they're like strange cat/dog hybrids, four ears, long, black hair, like, human-like hair, and always wears blue shirts. And they are also the only monsters who will buy your items. They might also try to pet you, Frisky. So, do be careful. We don't know if you're allergic to them or not. At least Gerson gave you that EpiPen, just in case."

Frisky nodded, before looking around at the area we were in and she said, "You know, I never got the real chance to truly appreciate the beauty of this place until now, Carrie."

And I could actually see what she was talking about, true, some might say that Waterfall is a bit, blue, it's atmosphere was by far the most tranquil in the entire Underground. From the glowing starlike crystals that litter the walls and ceiling, or the quietly flowing lake that goes to almost every part of the Underground. Waterfall really is the most peaceful, and quite beautiful place to be in.

I lead Frisky into the next room, which was pitch black, except for a lone, Illumination Mushroom. Frisky looked at the room and she asked, "How do I traverse this area, Carrie?"

I pointed over towards the Illumination Mushroom, and said, "These Mushrooms, here, they're called 'Illumination Mushrooms. If you touch them, they will illuminate a hidden pathway."

To which, my sweet little friend smiled as she said, "Let me guess, King Asgore named these things, right?"

I laughed a little as I said, "Yeah, pretty much. Now, to reach the Tem's Village, there will be a pathway at the bottommost right of this room, it will go straight up, but that leads to a dead-end, what you want to do is go downwards, even though there will be nothing to really see, there is something there."

Frisky looked a little confused, and quite frankly, I was too when I heard about the Temmie Village from Azzie, but after meeting them, I realized that they were really adorable, in their own weird way.

Soon enough, with helping guiding her through the pathway, me and Frisky arrived at the Temmie village, there we saw a group of Temmies standing right next to one another, one of the Temmies noticed Frisky and her eyes widened before saying, in that weird Temmie speech, "Oh ma god! a CUOOT hooman!"

Frisky was slightly taken aback by the overly excitable way that the Temmie was speaking, but she quickly righted herself before saying, "Hello, my name's Frisk."

"hOI! im temmie!" The Temmie said, a cheerful smile on their faces. "and dis is my friend…temmie!"

Then the next Temmie said, "hOI! im temmie! and dis is my friend…temmie!"

And no sooner did that Temmie speak, did another one speak, "hOI! im temmie! don forget my friend!"

And last but not least, the fourth Temmie in the line of Temmies said, in a calm, clear, and normal voice, "Hi. I'm Bob."

This took me and Frisky by complete surprise, and the Temmie, now named 'Bob' lightly laughed before saying, "Yep. I'm the only sane one here, kid." But, suddenly Bob got a little sad as he said, "I would stay clear of the Temmie's overly cheerful nature. The last kid that got to close, well…" he then curled up into a ball and had a sad expression on his face.

We both saw the sadness in Bob's eyes, just seeing Bob like this made me and Frisky have a sudden desire to hug him tightly. Then Frisky realized that he was talking about Justin, and being the good person that she is, sat down next to Bob, and said, "Gerson told me about Justin, and how a Temmie caused him to have an allergic reaction. He also mention that you're the one to keep all the other Temmies in check."

Bob looked up at Frisky as he nodded and said, "Yeah, but I was also the one who gave Justin an allergic reaction that killed him. So, do be cautious when petting me."

We were both shocked at this, "You're the one who jumped Justin?" Frisky asked in surprise.

Bob nodded sadly at this, and he said, "I may be the only 'straight' Temmie in the village, but not even I am able to really resist the overly excitable nature that us Temmies have." As Bob spoke, we could hear the sadness and regret in his voice. "However, after Justin, I decided to ring in the other Temmies. Told them that we must be careful, or else, we could lose more humans. They didn't like it, but they also understood. They may be crazy, but they're also understanding. So, for the sake of your safety, please, be cautious when trying to pet us, okay, Frisk?"

Frisky smiled softly at Bob, before pulling out the EpiPen out from her satchel, and she said, "Bob, you don't have to worry about anything, Gerson told us…uh I mean, me about Justin, he also gave me this EpiPen, just in case." She then put the EpiPen down, right next to Bob.

I saw a spark of hope begin to shine in Bob's eyes as he asked, "Does that mean that…"

Frisky nodded ever so slightly as she said, "Yeah, if anything were to happen, I have this on me. So, do you mind if I pet you?"

I watched as Bob flinched ever so slightly, and he asked, "Are…are you sure?"

Frisky nodded as she said, "Yes, I am. Do I know if I'm allergic to you? No, but, if I am, at least I have the EpiPen, for a worst-case scenario." She then outstretched her hand to Bob, but just stopped right in front of his face. It was clear that she didn't want to frighten him.

Bob hesitated, and I watched as all of the Temmies were looking at these two, from the shop owner, to the one that was always staring at the egg, wait, has that Temmie been staring at the same egg for a hundred years? I shrugged at this. Well, they were always a strange species. But, every last Temmie was watching with, I wanted to say, batted breath, but they weren't, I couldn't describe what was on their faces.

But, soon, Bob's hesitation gave way, and he slowly rubbed his head on Frisky's hand, and when nothing happened, Frisky then scratched him behind his upper ear, before carefully picking up Bob, and, in a daring move, rubbed her face on Bob's cheek. I took a deep breath, knowing that this would either cause Frisky to breakout into a life-threatening reaction, or nothing at all.

And, it seemed, like nothing had happened. Seeing this caused Bob to softly smile, as he realized, that Frisky wasn't allergic to him, and he rubbed his face happily against her cheek, and we both heard him start purring, and I saw Frisky smiled warmly at Bob, who was starting to smile and she brough him down to her lap and began softly petting him, then she asked, "See? That wasn't so bad, was it?"

Bob softly smiled at this as he said, "Frisk, thank you." As he then relaxed and curled up into a ball into Frisky's lap.

Frisky smile grew even larger as she continued to softly pet him as she said, "It's my pleasure, Bob."

But Bob then smiled widely as he said, "But, don't think that you're safe now, Frisk." Frisk's expression changed to confusion, and Bob said, "After what happened with Justin, I told the other Temmies that no one was allowed to 'pet' any 'COOT hooman' unless it was safe, so…"

We both realized what was gonna happen next. He then turned to the other Temmies, and he said, "Girls, it's alright. She's not allergic! You can pet her!"

Hearing that caused a LOT of Temmies to cheer, as they then charged right at Frisky, and Bob quickly bolted off of Frisk, and she was soon BURIED underneath a fleet of Temmies that came outta nowhere. There must have been a HUNDRED that just, popped into existence, just to pet Frisky, like, seriously, from my last count, there had to have been, like, seven Temmies in the cave, where did all the other ones come from?

At first Frisky was shocked at this, but she soon couldn't control her laughter as the Temmies began stretching their paws and began petting her, even I couldn't hold back my laughter as I watched a hoard of cat/dog creatures petting a human girl. I turned towards Bob, and even though I knew he couldn't see or hear me, I said, "You're kinda evil, Bob. I hope you know that."

But then, imagine my surprise when Bob spoke back. "Oh, I'm not evil, Princess, just giving my friends and family something they've been denied for a long time."

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense, Bob… Wait, WHAT!?" I turned towards Bob, who was smiling at me. My mouth dropped as yet ANOTHER monster was able to see me. Then, I rubbed my forehead as I said, with a bit of exhaustion in my voice, "You know, Frisky being able to see me? Our SOULs are latched onto one another, so that makes sense, Napstablook being able to see me, he's a ghost, so that makes sense, Gerson being able to see me, kinda makes sense, he's probably had one foot in the ground since the Barrier went up. How the HELL are YOU able to see me, Bob?" I asked while raising both my arms, before throwing them down, my open palms facing me.

Bob simply winked as he waved his paw to the side and casually said, "Oh, you know, I got special permission from the author to do so."

I blinked several times at this before I slowly asked, "Au-author? What, what do you mean by that, Bob? This is reality, not some kinda novel, you know?"

Bob simply shrugged and said, "Eh, don't think about it too much then, you'll get less of a headache if you do." He then turned to face a wall, before saying, "Also, I see you, yes, you. The readers, how are you?"

I watched as Bob just started talking into thin air, and no, it wasn't me this time. Deciding that the headache wasn't worth it, I simply shrugged, deciding that, Bob was right, 'Honestly, an author? Readers? What does he think this is, some kinda story for someone to tell? I think he might have been down here for far too long, and it won't be long until he becomes like the other Temmies, completely insane.'

Then I decided to ask a question that I have been having for a while now, "Hey, Bob, if you're done talking to people who aren't there, can I ask you something?"

Bob waved at thin air at nothing once again, before he asked, "What can I do for you, Princess?"

I wasn't really certain how to word this question, so, I decided to ask, "Do you happen to know every Temmie down here, by any chance?"

Bob nodded slightly, as he said, "Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Why do you ask?"

"Well…" I started, uncertain on whether or not I had imagined it all or nor, but, I still asked, "Back during Frisky's concert with Shyren…"

"Ah, yes, I remember quite a few Temmies mentioning that. Shame I missed it." Bob interrupted.

I rolled my eyes and said, "Yes, it was quite a party over there, but, anyways, I wanted to ask you, you wouldn't happen to know how many Temmies wear glasses, do you?"

Hearing that, caused Bob to sit up straight and he asked, "Was this Temmie playing a guitar, by any chance?"

I nodded slowly and I said, "Yeah, she was playing her guitar, upside down, with that, Annoying White Dog. It kinda seemed like I was the only one who noticed them."

Bob laughed and he said, "Nah, just the only one who noticed Toby and Miss Chang playing."

Hearing these names confused me. "Toby, and Miss Chang?"

Bob nodded and said, "Yep, those two actually like to pop up everywhere, even when Toby likes to cause trouble everywhere he goes."

"Then, what about this, Temmie Chang?" I asked the only sane Temmie in the room.

Bob once more waved his paw as he said, "Oh, her? She was actually once the former leader of the Temmies. In fact, the giant statue is actually hers. She is the founder of Temmie Village, she's just a huge music lover. Must have convinced Toby to play for Frisk. She's the only one who can make Toby be serious for once. Which is weird, seeing how she only stays here in Waterfall. But, then again, Toby doesn't usually wander too far from Waterfall. Why, I don't even remember the last time he went to cause trouble in Hotland."

I was going to say something, but then Bob turned towards the group of Temmies, dogpiled, or in this case, Temmiepiled, onto Frisky and he said, "All right, girls, I think that's enough with the human petting."

I heard a LOUD cry of sadness, but Bob said, "C'mon, girls, she may not be allergic to us, but you don't want to kill her with your cuteness, do you? She looks like she's about to explode from cuteness overload."

That seemed to get everyone to look down at Frisky, and they slowly got off of her, and suddenly, like, 95% of the Temmies that were on Frisky, began shaking rapidly, before suddenly vanishing…

Nope, I didn't see anything. There were never a hundred Temmies here, what I just saw was all in my mind. While denying what I saw, that was when Frisky sat up, she was bright red, but the biggest smile I have seen on her since we arrived here.

Frisky looked at each of the Temmies and I saw that here sense of logic and reasoning had left the cavern, again, just like what happened towards the Royal Dogs, and she then squealed loudly before picking up one of the Temmies and started petting THEM, before saying, "They're SSSSOOOO CUTE! Carrie, can I take one with me? Please?"

That was when the Temmie that she picked up said, "Pet by a CUOOT hooman. Oh, ma!" *dies* The Temmie that Frisky was holding, suddenly passed out, with a cartoonish 'X' in each eye, but we all saw that she was still breathing. Then she got up, and suddenly puffed into a ball of smoke. Damn, Temmies are weird.

Remembering what Frisky just said, I rolled my eyes, of course Frisky would want to adopt a Temmie. Must be the dog in them. I shook my head, but I had a small smile on my face as I said, "Frisky, you can't just adopt every cute monster you see, you know that, right?"

Frisky sighed as she nodded, then Bob turned to Frisky and said, "Take your time, Frisk, enjoy it around here. While there's not much, you can always visit the Shop Temmie. She's been trying to put herself through College. Who knows? Maybe you'll be able to help her out with that."

Frisky walked up to the nearby SAVE Point, before placing her hand on it, she then had a weird expression on her face, and me being me, I said, 💥"You feel…something. You're filled with detemmienation."💥

Frisky looked at me weirdly as she asked, "Detemmienation? What?"

I placed my fist to my mouth as I softly giggled and said, "Sorry, I couldn't resist, I thought it was fitting, didn't you?"

Frisky smiled sweetly at me, before giggling herself and saying, "I found it kinda funny, Carrie."

We saw two signs up ahead of us, and Frisky looked at the first one, and I said, in an overly cutesy voice, similar to that of a Temmie, "Okay, this is written by Temmies, so, give me a moment. Ehem. hOI! u shud check out… TEM SHOP!" I couldn't resist the shiver that I felt after saying that. It wasn't bad or anything, just, weird. "Ugh, Temmies are the most adorable Monsters in the entire Underground, but their broken English sometimes gets to me."

We then approached the second sign, I said, "Ehem, yaYA! i AGREES! shud check… TEM SHOP!"

Frisky giggled at this and she said, "They're just like Sans and Papyrus."

I looked at here with a strange expression, and I asked, "What are you talking about, Frisky?"

"Well, they all write how they speak, Papyrus talks like he's always excited about everything, big, bold words, and a very bombastic personality. While Sans writes like he talks, lazily. And with lowercase letters, almost as if he is too lazy to use uppercase words, for some strange reason. Same with the Temmies, in this strange, broken English." Frisky said, as she gazed at the giant statue of Temmie Chang.

We entered the shop, and the overly excited Temmie said, "hOI! welcom to da TEM SHOP!"

Frisky looked at the only items Temmie had, which was, surprise, surprise, Temmie Flakes. One was only 3G, another box was 20G, and another was, "HOLY SHIT ON A SANDWHICH! 1,000G FOR A SINGLE BOX OF TEMMIE FLAKES!?"

Frisky's eyes widened as she stared at the most expensive box of Temmie Flakes in the world. Then the Temmie said, "COLLEGE tem pursu higher education."

Frisk then took out her bag of Gold and began counting it, "Frisky, dearest, don't tell me that you're going to spend 1,000G on some Temmie Flakes, are you?"

Frisky had this smile on her face that clearly said that she wanted to help our friend, Temmie. So, she counted, and I mean COUNTED 1,000G of our current 1,785G, as she bought the most expensive box of 1G worth Temmie Flakes, and the Temmie's eyes widened as she said, "WOA!" And her eyes bulged outwards, as she said, "thas ALOT o muns… can tem realy acepts…"

Frisky nodded as she said, "Sure thing."

This made Temmie REALLY happy, as she gave Frisky the Temmie Flakes and said, "OKs! tem go to colleg and make u prouds!" And just like that, she was gone…well, her body and the box she was at, her face just stayed in place.

Frisky took a sudden step back in surprise, but I placed my hand on her shoulder as I said, "Don't worry, kiddo, she's fine. Temmies are so strange, that they defy all laws of reality. In fact, I don't even think they know what the law of gravity is."

Frisky then looked at me curiously, and she asked with a raised eyebrow, "How does them not knowing what the law of gravity is, have to do with anything?"

I rubbed her hair playfully, which, now that I realize it, I've been doing a lot of, I was never this affectionate when I was alive, guess Frisky brings out new parts of me I didn't know existed, shaking my head, I simply said, "Trust me, it's better off not knowing."

Not long after that, Temmie returned, wearing a Collage Graduation cap… WAIT! HOW THE HELL DID SHE GET THROUGH ALL FOUR YEARS OF COLLAGE IN 30 SECONDS!?

But my mind went blank as Temmie said, "tem bak from cool leg. tem lean MANY THINs, learn to sell new ITEM! yaYA!"

Frisky deciding to see what was new, looked down at the new item, and I said, "Huh? Tem Armor? Sounds, kinda weird, but, how much is it?" We looked down at the price, and our eyes widened at the price. "10,000G!? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?"

Frisky began sweating, as we realized that that piece of armor was worth ten times more than her college entrance, then Frisky asked, "Uh, what can you tell me about the Temmie Armor?"

To which, the overly eccentric Temmie said, "tem armor so GOODs! any battle becom a EASY victories!" Temmie then started getting a little emotional as she said, "but, hnnn, tem think… if u use armors, battles woudn b a challenge anymores, promise to only buy if really needs it."

Frisky smiled as she thought about it, then she said, "Hm, I don't have that much Gold on me. Wait!"

She then took out the bag of Gold given to her by Sans, before opening it up, and finding a note inside the bag. It read, "hiya, kid, gotta say, that was quite the performance you put on today, now, i know that you might end up at the temmie village by the time you read this note. how do i know this, you might be asking yourself, well, call it a hunch. now, if you ever need anything, just use this gold. now, i told ness that it was simply 1,000G, but it is actually 10,000G what? you really think i would allow my best pun partner to need money and not have it? consider this my thanks for makin' my bro happy. just accept and carry-on bringing smiles to everyone's faces, the punny man, sans."

Me and Frisky looked at one another, before Frisky bought the armor, but was about to put it in her bag, but couldn't fit it in there. That was when Bob arrived in the shop and said, "Wow, you actually put her through collage! I'm surprised. You sure work fast kid."

Frisky looked over at Bob and said, "Oh, Bob! Hey, can you help me? I can't fit this thing in my satchel!"

Bob smiled softly at Frisky before saying, "Yeah, sure thing. Just follow me."

Frisky turned to the Shop Temmie and said, "Bye, Temmie!"

Frisky then started walking outta the shop, when the Tem Shopkeep said, "bOI!"

When Frisky and I left the shop, Bob went into a dimensional box, like, literally. He dived on into the box and came out a minute later and pulled out some rope, he then turned towards Frisky and said, "Now, hold that armor over your back and, Chara, try to see if you can keep it there."

We both followed Bob's advice, Frisky doing her best to hold in place, and I found out that I could, indeed, hold the armor in place. Must be some strange Temmie magic, or something. Honestly, with the Temmies, anything, and I do mean ANYTHING is possible, but then Frisky asked, "Uh, Carrie, how is it that Bob knows of your existence?"

I shrugged and said, "He said someone called the 'Author' allowed him to do so. Honestly, I think he's lost some sanity since being down here. He also mentioned people called the 'readers.' At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he was crazy." We did follow his orders, however.

Bob simply chuckled before saying, "Nah, just hearing the voices of a different plane of existence being written down in the Review section of our story. Did you know that you girls have lots of fans?" Before we were even able to answer his question, he quickly jumped up, and in no time, began flying around Frisky so fast that he was nothing more than a white blur, while I held the armor in the center of her back, and soon, the Temmie armor was safely strapped to Frisky's back.

Frisky looked at the armor in her back, and said, "Wow, I don't even feel it on my back! How did you do that?" She was truly admiring the sane Temmie's work.

Bob smiled widely at Frisky before saying, "A Temmie, no matter how they act, never reveals their secrets!"

Frisky shook her head, before taking out the most expensive Temmie Flakes, and gave a few to Bob. Bob smiled as he said, "You know, us Temmies are a weird bunch, there's no denying that, but we're just simple creatures."

Me and Frisky looked down at Bob and Frisky asked, "How so?"

Bob waved a paw before saying, "I mean, a lot of monsters have been trying to keep themselves happy by doing a lot of things. Us Temmies, however, just run a simple business, well, one of us, does, while the rest of just wander Waterfall, looking for interesting things to see. We're not ones who look for meaning in life. I mean, one of us has been staring at a hardboiled egg for the past hundred years."

Frisky and I held back our laughter at this, then I decided to get our travels back underway. "Well, Bob, nice seeing you and your weird ass family, but we better get going. Undyne's after Frisky, after all."

Bob smiled at us before saying, "Yeah, I get that. While Undyne doesn't really come here all that much, you know, cause we're human supporters, she doesn't really hate us. She knows how much a child's death has affected us, she does send regards every so often. You know?"

We both nodded, then headed out, Frisky's new armor strapped to her back, ready to move out. I carefully led through the winding maze of Waterfall, I kept a careful eye on her, just encase she falls over, but it was almost as if the Tem Armor weighed nothing. Damn, whatever Temmie magic is, it's insane! That armor is about as big as she is.

We soon arrived at The Dark Room, as King Dad calls it, damn, when was the last time I called him that? Frisky looked towards the sign and I said, "Without candles or magic to guide us home, we monsters used crystals to navigate."

Frisky's eyes squinted at this and she said, "Carrie, what do you mean, 'WITHOUT MAGIC?' Aren't monsters, you know, MADE of magic?"

I laughed at this and said, "You'd think that be the case, but…" My voice halted for a single moment, then I said, in a more serious tone, "Dad explained to me once that, monsters with light magic are rare these days. They used to be plentiful in the past, with a new Light User born every year, but, not anymore. He said that, before the war, there were HUNDREDS of light users, but during the war, he said that they were all in a single camp, with a reconnaissance team, but, the humans, they BURNED the camp down. Killed everyone there. Nothing left there, but Dust. Monster Dust." I said, remembering the story that dad told me about this very plaque.

"There were no survivers. Dad said that there was only two light magic users left after that, the only reason why they survived, is, because they were expecting a child soon, and dad didn't want to put them under any stress. And he kept them away from the battle field. Out, away from the camp, and under his careful eye. What happened to them after that? I don't know. Never met the family myself. Dad said that, while they never out right hated me, but, you can imagine how, uncomfortable, it was for them to know that a human was living among the Monsters after their entire species was brought down to a grand total of three."

Frisky looked horrified at this revelation, and frankly, I was too when I first heard it. Frisky, seemingly noticing the sudden darkening of the room, asked, "So, what do monsters used instead of light magic then, Carrie?"

I pointed towards the glowing purple crystals and lanterns as I said, "Well, normally we have the crystals to illuminate the darkness down here, but then we have these purple crystals, these, somehow, are able to absorb the light that comes from the other crystals. So, we use lanterns to illuminate the darkness."

Frisk seemed to nod at this, as we continued to walk through the Darkened Cavern, Dad, I love you and everything, but, next time, let mom name a location. Like, seriously, you named your own SON a combination of yours and moms names. And you named another kid, simply Monster Kid. Like, seriously? I get that you're trying to lighten everyone's mood and all that, but, next time, be just a LITTLE bit more creative with your naming, will ya?

As I was having a mental argument with my dad, for the first time in years, I realized that we had made it through to the next room, no, almost ALL of Waterfall without encountering a single monster. 'What's going on here? I would have thought that monsters would popping up left, right and center to see a new human first hand. Something's not right here.'

And my suspicion grew even more when the room we just entered was ghostly quiet, yeah, yeah, laugh it up. A ghost saying a place is GHOSTLY quiet, how original… I blinked a few times at what thoughts just popped into my head…

'Okay, I think Bob's absurdity about some kind of, what did he say? Authors? Readers? Either way, I think that Bob's insanity is finally getting to me, and we just left the village!' I thought to myself.

But, it was then, that I noticed that the further we into the cave, the darker it became. Frisky suddenly reached for my hand, and I gave it to her, and squeezed it reassuringly, she smiled softly at me. Then we reached a lone Echo Flower, I was about to say something, when the flower repeated the last words spoken to it, in UNDYNE'S voice. "Behind you."

Both me and Frisky shook with fear, as we slowly turned around, and there, right in front of us, with her right eye gleaming a bright blue aura, wait, what happened to her left eye? Normally, when she's like this, dead serious, and has her prey cornered, BOTH of her eyes are glowing.

Either way, she slowly started to approach us, eye glowing brightly as she walked closer and closer. "… Seven." Came her voice in a clear, yet calm tone. "Seven human souls. With the power of the seven human souls, our king… King Asgore Dreemurr will become a god. With THAT power, Asgore can finally shatter the barrier."

I just suddenly realized something. Undyne isn't talking like before, gone was her over energetic personality. Gone was that thrill of a chase. Here, right now, THIS was Undyne, Captain of the Royal Guards, and second strongest Monster in the entire Underground. I could feel the fear burning inside Frisky, to help calm her down, or at the very least, reinforce her DETERMINATION, I gripped her hand tightly. I could actually see her eyes through her helmet, and they were not shining with gleam, no, they were empty, and hollow. And her left eye, was dark.

Her eye darted to me for just a moment, and I could see them soften, almost as if, she was actually seeing ME, as she tightened her grip. "He will finally take the surface back from humanity…" Undyne said, in that clear, almost emotionless tone, and I was starting to see what Gerson was talking about. "And give them back the pain and suffering that we have endured." More and more as she spoke, I was starting to see it more and more clearly.

Normally, when Undyne is about to capture someone after a long chase, she always does so with a flair of dramatics. Even if she had changed in a hundred years, there was no way she would have gotten rid of that intense personality of hers, unless her SOUL wasn't really in it.

And right here, I can tell, capturing Frisky wasn't what she wanted to do. "…" I heard Undyne take another deep breath, as she began once again. "Understand, human? This is your only chance at redemption. And no echoes of the past, or ghosts of people long gone will stop me this time."

Wait. What? Echoes of the Past? Ghosts of people long gone? Could, can Undyne see me? No, if she could, she would have turned to me. But, maybe it's something else. Before I could begin to roll this over in my head longer, Undyne continued her speech. "Give up your soul." She then threw her right hand over her chest as she gripped it tightly into a fist as she said, "Or I'll tear it from your body." She then threw her arm to the side, to try to make her statement clear.

Undyne then took a stance before blue magic started to surround both her hands, and a large, blue spear manifested in her hands. Frisky started to back away, but she reached the wall. She was silent the entire time, and I couldn't blame her. Even when she was obviously didn't have her SOUL in it, Undyne was still as terrifying as ever.

Then, Undyne began closing in on us, then, she started running at full speed, seeing this, Frisky threw her hands up in defense as her SOUL began flashing, and we felt like we were about to enter a FIGHT, but then, Cedric came charging out of the grass to our right, that massive smile on his face, as he said, "Undyne! I'll help you fight!" We all looked at Cedric in dumfounded shock and I just facepalmed. Did this idiot just run in between Undyne and Frisky? Like, seriously, Cedric? Do you want to die?

Cedric then started looking between Undyne and Frisky, first he was a little confused, then his eyes sparkled as his face turned into a large grin as he said, "YO! You did it! Undyne is RIGHT in front of you! You've got front row seats to her fight!"

It was then that Cedric was starting to realize something, as he began to look around the area and he asked, "But, wait. Who's she fighting?"

Undyne once again took a deep breath, before slowly dismissing her spear, and straightening herself, and grabbing Cedric by the cheek, before saying, "You and I are going to have a SERIOUS talk, Cedric! And YOU!" Undyne said as she pointed towards Frisky, "Don't think we're finished, punk! I'll deal with you in a minute!"

"H-hey!" Cedric cried out as he got pulled away. "You aren't gonna tell my parents about this, are you?" And with that, they were gone.

I took a sigh of relief, happy to know that we were safe, for now. I turned towards Frisky, and saw that she was sitting on the ground, her hands over her eyes and her knees to her chest, crying. I didn't even think, I was by her side and hugging her tightly. I didn't even ask, for I already knew she was terrified.

"Shh, shh." I said to her in a soft tone, while starting to rub her back gently. "I know that was terrifying, Frisky."

Through her tears, Frisky managed to ask, "Why does she hate me so much? sniff I've done nothing but good things ever since I arrived down here, and yet, she continues to chase me down, just to kill me."

She once again started to cry her eyes out, and I started to gently rub circles around her back in a comforting motion as I said, "I don't think she really hates you, Frisky. I think she is just putting up a bravado."

Through her sniffles, she looked towards me, those bright, ruby red eyes of hers, now red with tears, and she asked, "How, *sniff* how do you know, Carrie?"

I brought her into a tight hug, as I softly said, "Frisky, I told you, she was my teacher and bodyguard, I KNOW how she acts. If she REALLY wanted to capture you here, she would have a LOT more dramatic flair in her voice. But no, her voice was clean, and calm. Undyne is NEVER calm in situations like these. If she really wanted to capture your SOUL, she would have said so while boasting about how you two were going to have the FIGHT of your life. She didn't say that, instead, it was empty."

Frisky rubbed her nose and she asked, "So, even though she has to fight me, to claim my SOUL, HER SOUL ain't in it?"

I nodded as I said, "Yeah, so it may seem. I guess Gerson was right. Tiana really did shake Undyne to the core." We were silent for a moment, well, I was, Frisky was still letting out her emotions, and I just sat there as a support, allowing her to continue to cry into me. I didn't mind it, however. The girl needed the emotional support, and I was MORE than willing to give it to her.

But, as Frisky was starting to get herself under control, Undyne's words echoed in my mind. "And no echoes of the past, or ghosts of people long gone will stop me this time." What did she mean by that? Was she somehow aware of my presence, yet unable to accept that I could be here? Or…was it something more, because, she would never just say something as random as that.

We sat there for a few more minutes, before Frisky turned to me, a small smile on her face, but tears still running down her face, and snot running down her nose. but it didn't matter to me, I brought her close to me and kissed her on her forehead before asking, "Are you read to continue onwards, my dear?"

Frisky nodded slowly, before rubbing her face clean, and she said, "Sorry. I must look like an absolute mess right now, huh, Carrie?"

I lightly chuckled at this, true she looked a little, disheveled, and a little, okay, a LOT shaken up. We took a minute to allow her to catch herself and straighten herself out. Wipe her eyes clean and rub the snot from her face. After she was calm enough to continue, she looked to me and said, "Okay, I'm good."

She then held out her hand to me, I smiled softly at her, then I grabbed her hand and helped her up, and while hand in hand, we walked towards a new way, and while we did so, more Echo Flowers were present, the first one repeated the last words it heard, and once again, my heart ached as Azzie's voice echoed out, "…hmmm… if I say my wish… You promise you won't laugh at me, Chara?"

My voice hitched at hearing Azzie's voice again. Still remembering this very conversation, almost as if she sensed my hesitation, Frisky tightened her grip on my hand, this was actually very nice. Normally I would be against any kind of physical interactions, except from my family, the Dreemurr's, even Undyne took a long time for me to feel comfortable to noggie my head.

But whenever Frisky holds my hand, or kisses me on the cheek, I don't feel any flashes of pain, or stings in my back, all I can feel, is her intense love for me, and not Level Of Violence. Never Level Of Violence.

Pretty soon the next flower 'spoke' to us, in MY voice once again. "Of course I won't laugh, Azzie. I'd never laugh at you!" I lightly laughed at myself for this one, because it was a classic line the two of us shared.

Frisky looked at me in confusion and I said, "It was an inside joke between us. He'd have me promise not to laugh at something, no matter how stupid it was. I'd agree, then he'd say something kinda funny, then he would 'whine' at me for laughing at him anyways, then we'd both laugh. He always knew that it was never personal."

Frisky seemed to understand this, then we arrived at the next Echo Flower, where Azzie's voice said, "Someday, I'd like to climb this mountain we're all buried under. Standing under the sky, looking at the world all around… That's my wish, Chara."

The next flower then replayed my laughter, which caused Frisky to smile at me and say, "You sound cute when you laugh."

I blushed at this, but then Azzie's voice followed soon afterwards, "…hey, you said you wouldn't laugh at it, Chara!"

We soon approached the final flower, which said, "Sorry, Azzie, it's just funny… That's my wish too. To see the skies again, but this time, with my true family." Then laughter coming from both me and Azzie came from the flower.

I smiled, one of the last good memories that came from these old days, I smiled at Frisky and saw another sign, and I said, "Ehem, However, there is a prophecy. Ugh, not this crap again. Ugh, whatever, The Angle… The One Who Has Seen The Surface… They will return. And the Underground will go empty." Ugh, how I HATED that stupid prophecy now. I always saw myself as the one who would free the monsters, but now, all I've done, is make things worse. Just like my birth name means, Éadóchas. Despair. All I bring is despair in others. Frisk, she's the one who can bring hope to all, even me.

Frisky looked towards me and asked, "This, the Monsters saw you as the Angle, didn't they?"

I shook my head, wanting to just forget about this cursed prophecy. Because, if it wasn't for that stupid prophecy, I wouldn't have decided to try out that stupid plan, but then, I once again, wouldn't have met Frisky. Ugh, it seems, that no matter how much I regret what I've done, I don't want to take it back, if it meant that I would lose the one person who changed my life for the better.

The Dreemurr's, bless them and their patience with me, gave me a home, but, Frisky, gave me something that I can't forget, acceptance and love in my own species. I sighed in defeat, as I softly said, "C'mon, Frisky dear, let's get going."

Frisky silently nodded, but, just before we moved, we both heard a familiar voice say, "Where oh where could that child be…"

Both me and Frisky suddenly turned behind us and asked, "Mom!?" I was shocked. Mom was here? In Waterfall? Is that why she hasn't picked up her phone? Because she left it behind to follow us?

But then, mom's voice continued, "I've been looking all over for them…" But then, the voice we were hearing, changed into, something else. "Hee hee hee." It was Flowey! "THAT'S not true. She'll find another kid, and instantly forget about you. You'll NEVER see her again." And just like that, the Echo Flower went silent.

Frisky instantly jumped into me, and grabbing onto me tightly, before silently crying into my shirt. "Why? Why is he doing this? Why can't he leave me alone, Carrie? Why?"

I rubbed her back softly as I said, "I wish I knew, Frisky. Wish I knew." We then silently walked into the next room, where there was a long bridge, as well a tall cliff. I remember this place, this was the place where I would go to to clear my head. Always had Undyne watching over my shoulder while I was here, mostly because my mind wasn't in the right place at the time I first came here. It was a month after I had first fallen down, I was still haunted by nightmares and mom asked Undyne to take me somewhere where I could clear my head, but I wandered away from her, and I came here, and I…

Well, best not to think about that one dark moment in my life. We made our way, to the other side of the bridge, when we heard a loud, "YO!"

We turned around suddenly and there we saw Cedric, running up towards us, a look of sadness on his face, and I was confused as to why he looked so sad. That answer was soon answered as he got closer to us and looked over the empty chasm, before locking eyes with Frisky, and saying, "Yo, I know I'm not supposed to be here, but…"

"But what? Cedric?" Frisky asked, a little concerned about what her friend was talking about.

Cedric took a deep breath before sighing, then he said, "I wanna ask you something, Frisk."

Frisky smiled, be it, a little confused as to what it was all about. "Sure, what is it, Cedric?"

"…" He was quiet for a moment, not saying anything, and his eyes darting left and right, almost as if he was wishing he wasn't here right now. Man, Cedric should hang out with Blooky sometimes. Then he laughed and kicked a pebble down into the chasm below and said, "Man, I've never had to ask anyone this before… Umm…"

Frisky was starting to get nervous, and quite frankly, so was I. I looked towards my girl and I asked, "What is it do you think he wants to ask, Frisky?"

My girl shrugged her shoulders, but then, we heard Cedric ask, "Yo…" he then sighed as he calmly said, "You're human, right? Frisk? Haha."

We both stiffened at this, THAT must have been what he and Undyne went to talk about. Frisky, knowing that the jig was up, so to speak, simply nodded and she softly said, "Yeah, I'm human, Cedric."

Cedric laughed humorlessly, as he said, "Man! I knew it!"

Frisky gave him a small smile, for she knew he didn't really know that she was human, and she asked, "Really, Cedric?

"…well, I know it NOW, I mean, Undyne told me, um, 'stay away from that human.'" Cedric said with a frown on his face. "So, like, umm… I guess that makes us enemies or something." Frisky and me frowned at that, but before Frisky was able to even say anything, Cedric once again said, "But I kinda stink at that, haha. Yo, say something mean so I can hate you. Please?"

Instead of answering him, she gave him a gentle smile, before patting him gently on the back, then she said, "Cedric, I don't want to hate you. There's not a mean bone in my body that is directed towards Monsters." I noticed how she said NOT directed towards Monsters, and NOT have a SINGLE mean bone in her body. Her hatred, like mine, is aimed at the humans. Except hers isn't as bad as mine. Thank God for that. "You, are my friend, and I don't it to be any other way."

This took Cedric by surprise, and he asked, "Yo, what? So I have to do it?" Cedric looked down in sadness, it was clear on both kid's faces that neither one wanted this.

'God damnit, Undyne! Why do have to drive a wedge in between these two kids, when it's clear that they're becoming friends? Isn't it obvious by now? Frisky doesn't mean any harm. I mean, this is coming from the human hating QUEEN! And if I can accept her as a friend, then, why can't you? Stubborn shark.' But, that's just the way Undyne is.

Cedric then breathed out as he said, "Here goes nothing…" It was clear to everyone that Cedric wasn't all for trying to insult Frisky, but, he still continued. "Yo, I…I hate your guts." Frisky tried her best not to flinch at the jab, even though she knew it wasn't serious, but, still. I think it just brought up some bad memories from the surface.

"…" Cedric saw this and went silent. I could tell that he instantly regretted what he had just said. "Man, I…I'm such a turd. I'm…I'm gonna go home now."

Frisky seemed to smile softly at this as she said, "Okay, Cedric, be, be careful, alright?"

"Ha ha. Thanks Frisk. Well, see you around."

He then started to head out, but he suddenly tripped and fell over off the cliff. "CEDRIC!" Me and Frisky called out at the same time!

He was now hanging over the edge, from my point of view, his shirt was caught on a jagged spike, coming out from the cliffside.

"Yo, w-w-wait! Help I tripped! My shirt's caught! He-help! I don't want to die!" It was clear that he was in full blown panic mode.

Frisk, without even thinking, rushed over to him, and reached out to grab him, but her hand only reached his mouth. But, we soon saw that Undyne was staring at Frisk, but then saw Cedric hanging over the edge. Frisky tried to get closer to grab his shirt, but she almost slipped off. She quickly pushed herself back onto the ledge properly, but she still held her other hand out towards Cedric.

Cedric, seeing that Frisky was in danger of falling off the edge, said, "Frisk! Don't risk your life for me! Just, just let me go!" I saw the fear that was written in his eyes, he was worried, but not about himself anymore. But about Frisk.

All eyes widened at hearing that, and I saw Frisky glare at Cedric, as she asked, "Are you STUPID!? There is no way in HELL that I am just gonna let you fall to your death! Cedric, I'm gonna lower my hand to your mouth, and I want you to bite me as hard as you can. And whatever you do, DON'T. LET. GO. Do you understand me?"

Cedric looked a little hesitant, but then Frisky asked in her most serious voice, "Do you trust me?"

Cedric looked down into the abyss that laid below him, then at Frisky's eyes, and I saw her concern for Cedric shine through everything, I looked towards Undyne, wondering why she hadn't done anything, then I realized what it was. 'She's afraid that Frisk might push him off if she moves.' It was an irrational thought, but it made sense.

Cedric slowly nodded as he said, "Yeah, I trust you, dude. Just, just get me outta here."

Frisky nodded, then she once more lowered her hand to Cedric's mouth, then she took a deep breath, and she placed one hand on the ground to hold herself steady as she said, "Okay, Cedric, bite my hand now, and I'll pull you up."

Cedric opened his mouth, and bit Frisky on her hand, hard, I watched as she flinched in pain, but she gritted through it, and slowly started to pull him up. I watched in batted breath as Frisk started to save the Monster Kid, but, soon, her hand that was holding her steady gave way, and she suddenly lost her balance, and she fell forward.

I cried out, "FRISKY!" As both she and Cedric started to fall, but then, Undyne rushed towards both of them and grabbed them both by their collars and brought them back to solid ground.

Cedric looked like he wanted to say something, but Undyne said, "Cedric, go home, NOW!"

Cedric didn't say anything except until he turned to Frisk and said, "Thanks for trying to saving me, Frisk. Sorry I can't do anything else."

Frisk, who was holding her hand in pain, simply smiled at him and said, "Ouch. Don't worry about it, Cedric." She then glanced up at Undyne, who remained motionless, as she said, "Whatever happens now, I'm sure I can handle it."

Cedric nodded, before he turned to run away, but Frisky said, "Cedric, WALK away from here. Understand?"

Cedric nodded, as he slowly walked away, once he was gone, Frisky looked up to Undyne and she asked, "So, is this the part where you kill me and take my SOUL, Undyne?" She looked down, not at all in fear, just, acceptance.

Undyne knelt down beside Frisky, before yanking her satchel off her shoulder, causing Frisky to yell out, "Hey!"

But Undyne said, "Shut up, kid. And stay put." Undyne then started to go through Frisky's things, before pulling out the roll of medical tape, and she said, "Hold out your hand." Frisky hesitated, but then Undyne just grabbed it and started to wrap her hand up, then ripped the tape off the rest of the roll, before tying it down.

The two girls said nothing for a long time, then Undyne stood up and she pointed towards the direction we were heading to before Cedric interrupted us, and she said, "That way leads to the main entrance to Hotland, I will be waiting for you there."

Frisky looked towards Undyne and asked, "Why are you going to be waiting for me there?"

And Undyne simply responded with, "You are the third human I have ever had the chance of meeting," Wait. there was another that she had met? This is news to me. Gerson never mentioned anything about Undyne having any other human interactions besides Tiana. "and the second that I have ever seen one willing to do something for us monsters. I was taken by surprise from the first human, and Tiana only went with me without a fight because she was more concerned over Shyra then herself. I'm not letting you off that easily. I am giving you a chance to fight me up ahead. Now then…" She then went into Frisky's satchel once again and pulled out a Monster Candy, she then shoved it into her hands before saying, "Eat this, it'll make you feel better."

Frisk carefully took the candy that was once inside her bag, and she ate it, healing whatever damage was done to her hand, but she kept the tape around her hand. She then looked up to Undyne and asked, "I don't get you, Undyne." The armored fish looked towards my girl as she asked, "Not twenty minutes ago, you were chasing my ass all over Waterfall, now you saved my life? Why?"

Undyne sighed as she threw Frisky's satchel beside her and said, "Look, kid, I still want to kill you. I still want to rip your soul out and present it to King Asgore and finally break the barrier. Don't get me wrong, I only saved your life so that you wouldn't die a pathetic death. I won't be ashamed to admit that I respect your willingness to jump into danger to save Cedric. But that was your one freebee. Just go ahead and meet me at the entrance to Hotland. That is where we'll have our fight."

I then saw a glint in her eye, and I could SWEAR I saw that menacing smirk of hers as she said, "Oh, and if you don't meet me there, or you don't give this fight your all, I'LL KILL YOU!" She said in a dangerous voice, but then, she went completely 180, as she said in an overly cheerful voice, "Well, see you soon." And there was the Undyne I knew. And with that, she went off into the final area of Waterfall.

Frisky then slowly grabbed her satchel, and threw it over her shoulder, and made sure that everything was still in there, then, after taking a few deep breaths, she asked, "So, I guess I have no choice, huh? In order to reach Hotlands, I'm going to have to get past Undyne, huh?"

I nodded, and said, "Yeah, it looks like it. You have to be careful, dear. Undyne ain't one to just hold back. And, something tells me that you won't be able to SPARE her like the other Monsters down here."

Frisky nodded, then, we proceeded forward, unsure if Undyne would really allow us to meet her at the Hotland, and not just throw a bajillion spears at Frisky when she least expects it.

And then, we arrived at a large cave entrance, and there she stood, right on top of it. Still clad in her Royal Armor, was Undyne, Captain of the Royal Guard, and my former teacher, she had her back towards us as she said, "Seven. Seven human souls, and King Asgore will become a god." She turned to her side as she sighed and softly said, "Six. That's how many we have collected thus far."

From the tone of her voice, I could tell that she didn't want this, but to her, it had to be done. She finally turned to face Frisky as she took a deep breath, and I could feel the air get slightly colder as she said, "Understand? Through your seventh and final soul, this world will be transformed."

Frisky was uncomfortable with this, and so was I, "First, however, as is customary for those who make it this far, I shall tell you the tragic tale of our people." Oh, lord, here we go. "It all started, long ago…"

Then, I felt a change in the room, like, a sudden electric surge flow through the room, that could only mean one thing. Undyne then turned to face Frisky, as she went silent. "… No, you know what?" I swear, I could FEEL that vicious smirk spread across her face as she decided to change things up a bit. "SCREW IT! WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU THAT STORY? WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE!?"

She then grabbed her helmet and threw it off, while yelling, "NGAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

She was once more facing away from us, but this time, without her helmet, showing off her blue, shark like scales, and her long, red flowing hair. She turned towards us, her right eye flashing a malevolent yellow, before that vicious smirk appeared. She turned completely, and I saw that the left side of her face was darkened, but, her left eye was darkened as well, which was new to me. "YOU! You're standing in the way of everybody's hopes and dreams! You keep going around, making FRIENDS, trying to be NICE! But I know that's not true! You're just a coward! Hiding behind Cedric so you could run away from me again!"

Okay, Undyne, you saved both Cedric AND Frisk. You KNOW that she's not a coward! She risked her LIFE for him. "And let's not forget your wimpy goody-two-shoes-schtick!"

Frisky raised her eyebrow and asked, "Schtick? Wimpy?" It was clear that Frisky had taken offense to that, as she said, "Okay, Undyne, first off, I am NOT wimpy! And this is NOT a schtick! Is it THAT hard to believe that I can be a nice person?"

Undyne smirked, as she looked upwards and faked an overly good voice, "Oooh! I'm making such a difference by hugging strangers!" Undyne gripped her fist tightly, as she said, "You know what would be more valuable to everyone? IF YOU WERE DEAD! That's right, human! Your continued existence is a crime!"

Frisky gripped her chest at this, and so did I. I then glared at my old teacher as I said, "Okay, not cool, Undyne. Not cool." I turned to Frisky, and saw the tears in her eyes, then MY eyes widened, as I thought of how this is just like an echo of the worst parts of humanity. I wrapped my arms around Frisky, as I softly said, "Deep breaths, Frisk. Deep breaths, okay? In. Out. In. Out." As I said this, Frisky began taking her deep breaths, then I continued, "Don't focus on what's she's saying, just focus on my voice."

That was when Undyne said, "Your life is all that stands between us and our freedom!" She looked down at us, at Frisky, and I could swear that her lone eye locked onto me.

Deciding that, if she saw me or not, I would make my own kind of stand. So, I stood in front of Frisky, my arms outstretched wide, and I said, "While I know I can't do much, I do know this, Frisk is my friend, and her life is worth more than breaking the barrier! I may not be able to stop you from hurting her, Undyne, but I won't abandon her!"

I could have sworn that Undyne frowned at this, but it turned into a glare, as she said, "I still don't understand how, but I know that this is your doing, human! You somehow have some kind of illusionary magic that makes me see things I wish were still here. But making me see the dead princess will be your worst mistake ever!"

My eyes widened at this, she CAN see me, then, that must mean that she can hear me as well. That was when Undyne said, "Right now, I can feel everyone's hearts pounding together! Everyone's been waiting their whole lives for this moment! But we're not nervous at all! When everyone puts their hearts together, they can't lose!"

Undyne summoned a spear in her hand, then she said, "Now, human! Let's end this, right here, right now. I'll show you how determined monsters can be! Step forward when you're ready! Fuhuhuhu!"

I turned towards the right of us, and I saw a SAVE point, and I pointed it to Frisky, she nodded and walked up to it, and I said, 💥"The wind is howling. You're filled with determination…"

Frisky turned to Undyne, who asked, "So, are you ready, human?"

Frisky nodded, then she took several steps forward, before Undyne smiled and said, "That's it, then…! No more running away! Here I come! Catch!"

Undyne threw a spear in front of Frisky, who jumped out of the way. She looked up, before Undyne said, "Pick it up, punk! I will not fight a defenseless child! I may want to kill you, but I believe in a fair fight!"

I turned to Frisky and said, "She's right, Frisky. Undyne may be many things, but a fair fight is her number one rule. Pick it up and hold it in a defensive stance. Like this."

Frisky walked up to it, and I grabbed her hands, and carefully placed her hands a third of the way across the spear with both sides mirroring each other, with her right-hand facing palm upwards, while her left was facing downwards, then she slowly lifted it out of the ground, and held it in front of her.

After making certain that she was holding it properly, I said, "Your best option, right now, dear, is to stay on the defensive.. Undyne will start by taking it easy on you, but I warn you as she fights, she will continue to increase her speed and add different attacks to her fighting style."

I heard Frisky take a deep breath, before asking, 'So, what do I do after that?'

I didn't really know myself, mostly because, well, I just didn't know what Undyne would do. "I don't know, dear, I just don't know. Just, please, don't hurt her. She may have been trying to kill you, but, she's still my teacher. She's still my friend."

Frisky raised the spear upwards and thought, 'Chara, I promise you I will try my best not to hurt her, but, well, let's just see what we can do.'

Frisky locked eyes with Undyne and said, "Undyne, I'm ready!"

Undyne smirked viciously, as she said, "Perfect! Hiya!" Undyne then jumped and divebombed Frisky, who raised her spear just in time to block the attack, but, it wasn't a real one. It was just to start our fight, as we were quickly dragged into a FIGHT.

Undyne raised her spear and dragged it across her body, as Frisky's SOUL was turned green. Frisky's eyes widened as she said, "It's just like Papyrus's ability that turned my SOUL blue!"

Undyne smirked in a, I wouldn't say vicious way, more like, a kinda friendly way, as she said, "Yep! But the difference between mine and Pap's is that MY ability prevents you from running, kiddo! Now, en guarde!"

Frisky raised her spear in a defensive stance as she said, "Well, if escape is pointless, Undyne, guess I have no choice but to play defensive here."

I watched as Undyne's eyes, er, eye, flashed with a sense of familiarity, and then, my eyes widen as well, because that was something that Azzie said the first time Undyne started HIS training. Frisky then used her CHECK ability, and I said, "Undyne – ATK 50 DEF 20 The heroine that NEVER gives up."

Undyne smirked viciously as she said, "As long as you're GREEN you CAN'T ESCAPE!"

Frisky prepared for an attack, as she said, "Yeah, I kinda figured that much, Undyne."

Undyne glanced over towards me, as she said in a more serious voice, "Unless you learn to face danger head-on, you won't last a SECOND against ME! Don't worry. I'll go easy on you. For now."

Frisky got ready, and Undyne started by sending a small amount of spears towards her, going very slowly, but she held hers out in front of her, blocking all three of them.

I watched as Undyne closed her eye, before pounding her fist towards the ground, all I could say was, "Undyne thinks of her friends and pounds the ground with her fists."

Frisky then decided to try something, "Undyne, please, don't do this. I'm not like those other humans above ground. I actually do want to make friends with everyone."

Undyne didn't even budge, and I said, "You told Undyne you didn't want to fight. Undyne didn't react at all."

Undyne slightly smirked in a playful way as she said, "Heh, not bad, kid! Then how about THIS!?"

Undyne then launched even more Spears towards Frisky, and I watched as she blocked two that came right in front of her, and I said, "Good job, Frisky, but watch your sides."

Frisky turned to her left just in time to block two more spears, and she quickly turned to her right with the spear lifted upwards just in time to block two more spears.

I was kinda impressed at this, for her first time fighting against Undyne, her reaction speed isn't something to sneeze at. But soon enough, I was certain, Undyne would stop making this easy for her. Undyne then started to bounce back and forth on her toes, and I said, "Undyne bounces impatiently."

Frisky then took a deep breath, before saying, "Undyne, please, we don't have to do this. Can't we just talk about this?"

But, once again, nothing happened. "You told Undyne that you didn't want to fight. But nothing happened." I looked towards Frisky and I saw that she was very hesitant about what was happening, but I placed my hand on her shoulder, and watched as she looked towards me, I gave her a gentle smile, and she calmed down.

That was when Undyne said, "For years, we've dreamed of a happy ending…" Then, with a wave of her spear, several more came charging at her, but she easily blocked all of them, expect one, which hit her arm, and she instantly lost 4 HP. Brining her down to 12.5 HP

Undyne saw this, and for a single moment the tight grip she had on her spear loosened, before she shook her head and stood tall in front of Frisky.

"Undyne towers threateningly." I said to Frisky, who was now rubbing her bruised arm. "You okay, Frisky?" I asked her, very worried about her well-being.

Frisky nodded and softly said, "Yeah, I'm, gulp I'm good. Thanks, Carrie." Frisky rubbed her head from the nervous sweat as she said, "Man, Undyne, you're tough! But I was kinda expecting you to be attacking me faster than this." Inadvertently challenging Undyne.

Undyne smirked as she asked, "Oh. Is that a CHALLENGE I hear?" The glint in her eye flashed menacingly.

I pulled at my shirt collar and laughed nervously, then I said, "Heh-heh. Uh, Frisky. I think you just challenged her. Now, she's gonna make her attacks just a little bit faster."

I watched as Frisky's eyes widen in shock as she said, "Oh, shit!"

Undyne smirked as she said, "And now, sunlight is just within our reach!"

And with that, Undyne quickly launched another bombardment of spears towards Frisky, she was able to block some of them, but they managed to get through her defenses, causing her to lose more HP. Bringing her down to 5.5 HP. Now, I was starting to get worried. "Frisky, please, eat something!"

Frisky looked like she wanted to heal up, even though her HP was DANGEROUSLY low but instead decided to try something different. She placed her hand on the SPARE button, even though I told her that it wasn't going to work, but, she still had the desire to try, and I couldn't blame her for that. But it was still very dangerous.

"I won't let you snatch it away from us!" Undyne said, as she proceeded to launch even more spears at her.

Frisky was able to block every attack, this time, without getting hit once this time, thank god for that. But, once more, Frisky refused to heal up, I turned towards Frisky in shock. "FRISK! You need to heal up! Please!"

Frisky shook her head, as she said, "No, I know I can get through to her, I just have to keep trying."

"NGAHHH! No more warming up!" Undyne said as she continued to unleash another bombardment of spears, these seemed to be moving at even faster pace than before. But, just when Undyne finished her last combo, she threw a curve ball, or in this case, a curve spear, at Frisky, as she waved her arm, and Frisky's SOUL returned to red. Frisky looked confused, so she didn't expect a spear to hit her from the side, lowering her to 3.5 HP.

Frisky fell to her knees in pain, as she seemed to cough up a bit of blood. "FRISKY!" I was quickly at her side as I said, "God damnit, girl! Eat something, QUICK!"

Frisky shook her head, god damnit, why was she being so stubborn now? "No, I can do this. Just, one more, yeah. One more, show of MERCY, and it will be all over." She then placed her hand on the MERCY button, and said in a very weak voice, "I, Francesca Merriweather, hereby SPARE you."

Francesca Merriweather? THAT'S her real name? Well, I think Frisk fits her much better than Francesca. And having Merriweather as a last name is MUCH better than having Éadóchas as a last name. Ugh, isn't it slightly ironic? That my birthparents last name was Despair? Because that was my entire existence until the Dreemurr's. Despair.

But, that was when Undyne laughed as she said, "Mercy! Ha! I still can't believe YOU want to spare ME!" Undyne glared hard at Frisky, when she harshly asked, "Where was that Mercy when us Monsters were SLAUGHTERED over a stupid ability that we didn't even ask for? Where was that Mercy, when the hope for our people, Prince Asriel and Princess Chara Dreemurr were KILLED by YOUR kind!?" Undyne glared hardly as she raised her spear upwards dramatically.

That was when the ground beneath Frisky shined bright blue, I yelled at Frisky, "FRISK! DODGE!"

Frisky turned to me, and with a loopy expression on her face, I think she's starting to lose it. And my estimate was proven true when she rolled her finger upwards as she said, "Don't worry, babe, I'm…" And then, a spear when through her, dropping her HP all the way down to zero, splitting her SOUL in half, before shattering into a million pieces, before her body hit the ground with a thud.

My eyes widened, and I felt my heart drop. I felt sick, like I wanted to throw up. I… failed? Frisk, she was…no, no.

Nononononononononononononononononononono! "FRISK!" I cried out as loud as I could, and soon, I felt the world around me grow, darker, yet, darker.

When I opened my eyes, I thought that they were still closed, because all I saw, was a world of darkness. But, I did see two strange, orange boxes. One read CONTINUE. And the other read RESET. I was confused as to what they meant, but that was when I remembered what happened to Frisky.

I covered my eyes as I started crying. "Frisk! Oh, GOD FRISK!" I can't believe it. I failed her. What kind of girlfriend am I? I fell to my knees and began crying. Why is it that everything I touch, ends up falling apart on me?

That's when I heard a weak voice ask, "Chara? Where, where are we? Ow! Ugh, what happened, anyways?"

I suddenly felt my body stiffened up, as I sniffed I robotically turned towards the source of the sound, and there, I saw Frisky, not even a scratch on her, but looking very exhausted. I rushed towards her and gripped her into a tight hug. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I repeated multiple times, tears running down my eyes.

I felt Frisky slowly wrap her arms around me as she patted my back and said, "It's okay, sweety. It's not your fault. I thought that she would be like mom. That all I had to do was show her enough Mercy, and I would be able to get through to her. But, I was wrong."

I rubbed her back gently and I sniffed as I asked, "So, where are we now? All I remember is…" I hesitated, because, we both knew that she… died. But, I would have thought that, by dying, we would be gazing at her dead body, I mean that's…nevermind.

That was when we heard a strangely familiar, yet VERY distorted voice ask, "You have met with a terrible fate. Haven't you?"

I looked around for the source of the voice, but, all I saw was darkness. Frisky gripped my arm tightly, obviously she was slightly frightened, then she asked, "Carrie, where are we? And, who was that voice?"

I wrapped my arms around her in a defensive stance, after what just happened, I'm not letting ANHYTHING come anywhere CLOSE to Frisky if I could help it. "I don't know, dear. I just don't know."

That was when the voice spoke up once more. "I'm so sorry. Where's my manner's? You girls can call me, Wing Ding."

I raised my eyebrow at that, there was something in this voice that just sounded so, familiar. But I couldn't put my finger on it. "Well, Wing Ding, can you tell us where we are, please?"

That was when Wing Ding said, "Well, this place goes by many names, because it is connected to many places. A sort of bridge between dimensions, if you will. The aera I am currently in, is called the Void. Where you two are, is not far off from the same place. We can call this place, the Game Over Screen."

"Game…Over…Screen? What are you talking about, Wing Ding? Have you been lost to this, Void, for so long you've lost you mind?" It was clear to me that Frisky was getting upset. "Because in case you haven't noticed, I DIED! This is not some god forsaken VIDEO GAME! I'M NEVER GOING TO SEE ANY OF THE FRIENDS I'VE MADE EVER AGAIN! I'LL NEVER SEE MOM AGAIN! AND THE WORST PART, I FELT MY SOUL SHATTER! SO, EVEN IF I'M DEAD, THE MONSTERS CAN'T USE MY SOUL TO SET THEMSELVES FREE!" Frisky screamed out to the heavens so loud that I actually felt the area we were in to shake with force. Then she fell to her knees and started crying. "All I wanted to do was help the Monsters. And I couldn't even do that." I wrapped her up tightly into my arms and allowed her to cry into me.

That was when Wing Ding cleared his throat as he said, "I am sorry, Frisk. I didn't mean to make you feel that way. But I do have something you might be interested in."

Frisky rubbed her nose and looked upwards and asked, in a very harsh tone, "What? sniff What could you tell me that could make me feel better?"

I actually flinched at how, violent, Frisky was being. "Frisky, sweety, calm down, please, it's obvious that, whoever this guy is, he's trying to help us. Just calm down." I then brought her into a tight hug and allowed her to rest with her head in her lap.

Frisky rested her head and looked towards the emptiness as she said, "I'm, I'm sorry, Mr. Wing Ding. It's just that, that was kind of painful, what I went through."

Wing Ding made a sound of understanding, before he said, "It's quite alright, Frisk, But please, refer to me as doctor. Now, the question I have for is this, if you had the power, would you want to go back and try to fight Undyne again?"

Frisky hesitated, before she asked, "Is this what my matron referred to as a hypothetical question? That, hypotactically, if I wanted to go back, would I?" Frisky rolled over onto her back to stare up at me, then she closed her eyes before she said, "If it meant that I could try to get past Undyne without having to experience dying again, then, yes. Yes I would do it over. There, you happy now?"

The hummed a happy tune, then he said, "Well, in that case, what if I were to tell you, that there is a way to go back?"

Now it was my time to ask the question, "What do you mean, 'Go Back' Doctor?"

Wing Ding lightly chuckled as he asked, "Well, do you girls remember, Flowey?" We both shivered at the reminder of the psychopathic flower, then Wing Ding said, "Yes, well, he was telling the truth when he said that you have a very unique ability. The power of Reset."

"Reset? What are you talking about, Wing Ding?" Frisky asked the disembodied voice.

Wing Ding lightly chuckled as he said, "Those buttons behind you. They will allow you to go back to certain points. Depending on where you last SAVED."

Frisk's eyes widened as she looked over the two orange buttons behind her and she said, "You mean, the SAVE points actually allow me to, come back to life if I die?" I could sense hope entering her voice. Even though this ability of RESET was sounding like BS.

Wing Ding hummed in agreement as he said, "Yes, but, it would be, unwise to press RESET. I have witnessed Flowey use these powers before. From my own observations, I can tell that the button you would wish to utilize, would be CONTINUE. RESET would send you all the way back to the RUINS."

I raised an eyebrow at this as I asked, "And what's wrong with that? Surely that just means that we just go right back to the Ruins, talk to mom, and be on our way back here, right?"

But that was when Wing Ding said, "Unfortunately, that is not the case, girls. You see, if you use the RESET button, not only will it take you back to the Ruins, but also RESET everyone's memories of what has happened until this point." My eyes widened at this revelation. "All your progress into getting this far will be for naught. You'll be right back to square one. Right back at the moment you first fell into the Underground, my dear, Frisk. All the memories that your friends have of you, would be set back to zero. And you'll have to do it all over again."

Frisky shivered in my lap, and I gently brushed her hair gently ad she soothed at my touch as I said, "Easy, Frisky, easy. From what I am getting from this Doctor, all you have to do is hit CONTINUE, and we will wind right back at Undyne's Arena." I looked up at the endless void and asked, "Am I correct, Doctor?"

I heard a hum of agreement as Wing Ding said, "Yes, indeed, Princess."

I squinted my eyes at this, and I asked, "How do you know I am a Princess, Wing Ding? In fact, your voice, despite being distorted, sounds, familiar. Did we know each other?"

I heard the voice sigh as he said, "At one time, yes. But the reason why you may not remember me right now is because of my last, experiment. And I was shattered across time and space. And everyone who knew me, had me erased from their memories. They know I existed, but my name, has been lost to the Void."

That was when my eyes widened in realization as I said, "You were the last Royal Scientist!"

The voice grumbled a bit at this as he said, "Was is the relative word Princess. But, for now, I think you girls should be heading back to face Undyne again. Note, I will not be here the next time either of you find yourselves in the Game Over Screen. So, this goodbye, girls."

Frisky stood up and moved towards the buttons and I followed her as she said, "Thank you for everything, Wing Ding. I guess, we'll take it from here, huh?" She glanced over at me, and I nodded.

I grabbed her hand and I said, "And this time, I promise to be a little more, Patient, with you, dear."

Frisky smiled at me as she said, "And I promise that next time you tell me to eat something, I'll listen to you." She then walked up to the Continue button before looking up as she said, "Well, Doctor, thanks for your help, maybe we'll meet again sometime."

Wing Ding lightly chuckled as he said, "Frisk, you really are a one-of-a-kind kid. Keep on keeping on, or, as I would say, Stay Determined."

Frisky laughed before she raised her hand to me, and I grabbed it, I then thought of something, "Uh, Wing Ding, if we do this, MY memories won't be erased, will they? Because, I don't want to forget this."

Wing Ding lightly laughed as he said, "Ah, Chara, still the same as ever. Still the over worrying girl who came into my lab all those years ago. You have no need to be concerned. As long as both you and Frisk both press CONTINUE both of you will remember everything. Now, good luck."

We smiled as we both said, "Thank you, Wing Ding."

But before we CONTINUED, Wing Ding said, "Oh, and if I can offer up some advice."

Frisky looked up and she said, "If there is anything that can help me get past Undyne, I'm willing to listen."

Wing Ding chuckled as he said, "Well, here's a little idea from me, the moment your SOUL returns to being red, run. And whatever you don't, don't stop running until you reach Hotland."

Frisky's eyes squinted a bit, before she asked, "Why would I run to Hotland."

I snapped my fingers as I said, "That's right! Undyne's a fish! So, if we run, she will DEFINITELY chase you down, and if we lead her to Hotland, not only would her being a fish cause her to dry out, but that heavy armor would cause her to heat up rather quickly!"

"Which means that, if we can get to Hotland, she'll stop following us!" Frisky said in sudden realization.

"Precisely, very well done, girls." Wing Ding said happily. "Now go out and get past Undyne."

We both nodded, and with that, I looked to Frisky and asked, "So, dear, you ready to live again?"

Frisky took a deep breath before gazing into the darkness, then she said, "I'll admit, this terrified me, but, honestly, as gruesome as it is to admit, I wasn't expecting death to be this, peaceful. Was it like this for you, Chara?"

I shook my head and said, "No, it wasn't. Death by Buttercups is the most painful way to go, hun. C'mon, let's go."

She nodded, and together, we pressed the CONTINUE button, and the world slowly began to glow, before it flashed brightly. When we could see again, there we stood, once again, in front of Undyne, her spear once again lodged into the ground. But, she appeared to be frowning now.

"So, you too possess that power. Hm…" Wait, I would've thought that she wouldn't remember our fight. But then I saw her grin. "Well, I'll admit, watching your SOUL shatter was shocking, but knowing that you can't be killed only means that I can just keep killing you until you give up."

Frisky's gaze hardened as she picked up the spear as she said, "I don't know how you remember that last go. I thought that you wouldn't, but I'm not going to give up, Undyne. I'm getting past you this time!"

Undyne actually smirked at this as she said, "Yes, face every challenge head-on, show no fear! THAT is what it means to be a member of the Royal Guard! Now then, bring it on, punk! Hiya!"

Once more Undyne dived down at Frisky, but yet again, Frisky raised her spear upwards, this time much faster than before. And soon, we were in another FIGHT against Undyne, who turned Frisky's SOUL green.

I looked towards Frisky and softly said, "Remember, Wing Ding said that we just have to remain in the defensive until your SOUL returns to being red." Frisky simply nodded at me.

Undyne smirked as she said, "Now, for the second time, en guarde!"

Frisky raised her spear in a defensive stance as she said, "Undyne, this time, I'm not gonna get hit by a single ONE of your spears!"

Undyne smirked as she said, "Oh, a challenge right off the bat? Heh, I'm starting to like your guts, kid. Just don't think I'll make things as easy as I did last time. This time, I'll make you WISH you could stay dead!"

And with that, Undyne started her attack, three simple spears, all three of which, Frisky blocked effortlessly. She then wiped her brow before saying, "oh, c'mon, Undyne. Is that the best you got? Papyrus was actually trying a WHOLE lot harder than this when I fought him."

Undyne gritted her teeth as she asked, "Oh, you think you're SO CUTE, don't you, shorty?"

To which Frisky folder her arms, pouted, and said, "Bitch, I'm adorable."

My mouth dropped, so did Undyne's, I turned to Frisky in shock, she used my same exact words against Undyne, in the same exact manner as well. She's like a horrifying combination of me and Azzie. Azzie's innocent and pacifistic nature, and my smart-ass mouth when I first arrived here.

I thought Undyne was gonna kill her right there and then, but instead she began laughing, "Fuhuhuhu! Kid, you just reminded me of the Princess right there. But, that smart-ass mouth of yours is gonna get you killed if you're unable to back up your talk."

Frisky then brought her spear down to her side in a defensive stance, before saying, "Well, Undyne, shall we see what cracks first? Your desire to kill me? Or my Determination to keep going?"

Undyne smirked as she said, "Kid, all I have to say is this, you better not die on me too quickly." And with that, Undyne started yet another combo, strangely, it was the same one from the last run.

Once Frisky blocked the last attack, she looked towards Undyne and asked, "Undyne, I don't get it. If you remember the last, fight, then why are using the same strategy as last time?"

Undyne twirled her spear around as she said, "First off, if you want to be technical, that was the last Timeline. See, the power of the Reset changed time around. By going back before our fight, you start a new timeline while the previous one gets overwritten. Don't ask me to get all technical with you, that was always Alphys' cup of tea. And second, the reason why I didn't change my style is because that's not fair. I haven't had a fight against a human before, and I don't want this to be a cheap fight. Now then, get ready. Hiya!"

Undyne then started her combo again, and Frisky was quite quickly able to block all the attacks, until Undyne waved her hand, and Frisky's SOUL returned to being red, and the spear in her hands vanished.

She quickly turned to her left and jumped out of the way just in time to dodge another spear. Frisky stood up, and took a few breaths, before she ran behind Undyne, but as she left she said, "Hey, Undyne! I bet you can't catch me!"

I floated next to Frisky, but turned to face Undyne, and allowed myself to be pulled by our connection, and saw that Undyne was chasing us again, but this time, she had a large smirk on her face. "Yeah, that's it! Run kid, make my blood run wild! Let me have this chase!" Then she shook her head as she said, "What am I saying? Get back here and fight me, twerp!" She then growled as she started running faster.

Frisky kept on running, even when Undyne started throwing her spears at her, trying to force her into a FIGHT, but I managed to tell her how to dodge. "Go left! Now right! Left again! Quick! Duck!"

Frisky jumped forward, allowing the spear to pass safely by her, but quickly pushed herself off the ground, then she continued to run. That was when her phone started ringing, she picked it up, still dodging Undyne's attacks, that was when Papyrus' voice came through, "HEY! WHAT'S UP!? I WAS JUST THINKING… YOU ME AND UNDYNE SHOULD ALL HANG OUT SOMETIME! I THINK YOU WOULD MAKE GREAT PALS! LET'S MEET UP AT HER HOUSE LATER!"

Frisky hung up, and turned to Undyne, who was still chasing her, Frisky smiled awkwardly as she said, "Uh, Papyrus said hi…"

Undyne smiled a big vicious grin as she said, "Yeah, I heard. Now, GET OVER HERE! JUST STOP RUNNING AWAY!"

Frisky lightly giggled as she said, "Um, no." Then she went as fast as her legs would take her, smiling all the way.

"Damn, girl! What's with all the excitement right now?" I asked my girl in total confusion as to what the big idea was.

Frisky giggled a little bit as she said, 'Well, I don't know, I guess, dare I say it. I'm having a lot of fun doing this. I mean, I know Undyne is trying to kill me and everything, but, still. I am having fun.'

I was shocked at this, but I got distracted at seeing Hotland for the first time in a century but got sidetracked as we passed by Sans at what could possibly be another one of his guard posts, but he was snoozing on the job. Again, HOW DID HE GET HERE BEFORE US!?"

That was when we ran across a bridge that was over hot boiling LAVA! When we reached the other side of the bridge, we saw a water cooler, and we heard the heavy footsteps of Undyne.

We turned around and saw that she was sweating up a storm as she weakly said, "Armor… so…hot… But I can't… give up…" She then took a few steps towards us, before falling down onto the ground.

Frisky took some time to catch her breath, before I asked, "So, what do we do now?"

Frisky walked up to the water cooler and filled up two cups, then she said, "Well, I got an idea."

Thechaosmaster: Ugh, there is so much I wish I could bring up in this chapter, but, my eyes are starting to hurt a bit too much, so, I'll just say that I absolutely fucking HATED writing the Mad Dummy fight. Everyone here who knows my work knows that I work best with banter, and Mad Dummy provided zero chances for banter.

Blossom: Not to mention your Xbox broke.

Chaos: Yeah, that sucks too. See, I must have fallen asleep playing my Xbox and, because I use a wired controller, I must have pulled the controller in my sleep, causing my Xbox to fall, and now, it doesn't work. God, three years of playing on that thing, all those achievements, gone, as I said up top. I'm still mad at myself for that.

Okay, I'm just going to head off into the Reviews.

Kamorek: yes, I have summoned you, and so, I shall do so again, to bask in the greatness of this chapter. Glad you enjoy the aware nature that is Papyrus. Hopefully the cutesy Charisk is up to your standards here.

Hieroglyph Pharaoh: Thanks for your complements, my friend. And yeah, I fully understand. I guess that's what makes our lovable little adopted human so unique, they have multiple ways of pronouncing their names. I'm glad that you enjoy Paps not being naïve. I myself enjoyed that very much.

Guest: *Collects coins and places them in a small jar of coins.* Well, Guest, here you are, a brand new, extra long chapter. And no need to be concerned, I'm still alive. This chapter just took a LOT outta me.

Dasani: Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more about not enough Charisk. Now, I understand your criticism, in fact, I myself didn't see that as a plot hole until you pointed it out. That is why, when I, well, my fingers anyway, finally decided that Chara would be able to be seen by Gerson, I had him bring up this very question. And you can see the answer. It was basically Azzie's dying wish that Chara would give the humans a chance. Does that make sense? If not, blame me. This actually my first time writing tortured characters.

Halloween Witch: Chapter 1) Hey, friend! Glad to see that you're enjoying the girls journey so far. Yeah, I'm glad that you enjoyed how Frisky ended up down in the land of Monsters. Azzie's words kinda, stuck with me, you know, when he says it was probably for, not a happy reason. In a way, it makes sense to me. And yeah, Frisk's villagers were VERY single-minded creatures that believed their way of thinking was the only way of life, and all Frisk wanted to do was be herself, and well, you can see how that ended up.

Now, I'm glad you like what I've done with Chara, I was, in a way, intrigued as to the mystery of the adopted child of the Dreemurr's. And quite frankly, every time I heard people talk about how evil they were, it just never felt right with me. And yeah, my Chara may be a bit harsh, but as you said, she's also very kind. I always saw Chara as this, complex character. And, from what I can gather from other YouTube videos, they weren't really in the best place when they arrived. They seemed to have, *shivers* suicidal, tendencies.

Now, as to the reason on why she doesn't know Flowey is her brother, well, I'll be honest here. After Chara and Azzie's plan failed, Chara's SOUL was bound to her body, but, to me, I believe that she never could see or hear anything, it wasn't complete consciousness, because being trapped alone with your thoughts for a hundred years would drive anyone insane. It was sorta like, she had just enough awareness every so often. But, she couldn't see or hear anything. So, even if Flowey arrived at her grave to 'talk' to her, she couldn't hear him. Meaning that she wouldn't know that her adorably, pacifistic goat bro had become this psychopathic nutjob. Does that make sense? Another reason I didn't want Chara to know her brother was Flowey was to get a VERY big reaction to the reveal at the end of the 'GAME.'

Chapter 2) I'm glad you like the adorableness with the girls, and yeah, I kinda suck at making things go slow. It's just not in my SOUL, you could say. And yeah, it is nice to see the girls click, and from you can see, it's because they had VERY similar experiences with humans, and, as you said, it isn't without struggles.

Chapter 3) I honestly felt like this was one of my most creative decisions here. All Frisk wants to do is try to find a way to free the monsters, but Toriel, after 'seeing' many of the other children get 'killed' has decided to try to force Frisk to stay in Home. Now, your question on how Frisk and Chara were able to interact with each other. Uh…

*Chaos awkwardly scratched his head* Honestly, I tried to come up with a good explanation using Gerson, involving the previous war, DETERMINATION, and all that nonsense. But, it just didn't set right with me. My own personal idea with that is because the girls continue to get closer, as friends, their connection through their linked SOUL allows them to interact with each other more and more. I hope this makes sense.

Chapter 4) I'm very happy that you enjoyed the Skele-Bros. They are actually my favorite characters as well. Even if Sans is lazier than Shikamaru Nara. Now, for your question on Sans checking for Dust. No, there hasn't been any resets in THIS timeline of events. This is the girls first 'Round' through the Underground together. The reason why he knows of Dust, in my eyes is twofold. First, the people of Snowdin remember the Orange SOUL of Bravery, Triston. He just wanted to make certain that this kid wasn't following the same path. The second reason is actually very smart, he's aware of other timelines, as he says so in the Genocide route. He KNOWS there are timelines where Frisk kills everyone, he just wanted to make sure that this Frisk wasn't a killer. Does this work for you? I really hope so.

Chapter 5) Yeah, I have decided that, throughout this story Chara will try to, not just hold back her past, but slowly overcome it. And not just what the humans did. This story will sorta be a redemption story for Chara, as she tries to right all the wrongs her death has caused for the Underground. And yes, I introduced Gaster. I don't have a solid plan for him just yet, but, I starting to see a plan, hopefully, it works out. And while I like your idea, hehe, I don't think I'll be able to make something like that work.

Chapter 6) Glad you liked the start of the infamous Undyne chase. She's actually a favorite character of mine. And I'm glad you're pleased with the HP increase, Witch. I thought it was a nice touch myself. Now, throughout this story I want to continue to increase her HP very slowly. Why, well, let's just say that I have a very cool idea in the works for the Grand Finale.

Thechaosmaster: Welp, here it is, after almost an entire year of working on this monster of a chapter, it is done. Also, I have to get ready for work in like, any minute now, so I'll make this quick, I came up with this most crazy idea ever. I'll be honest, you're going to see the OMEGA Flowey boss fight. How could you not. So, here's the question, well, the poll is still up, but I'm gonna add another idea, just for the reviews. Would anyone like to see Genocide. Not from these kids, god HELL no. But, have been noticing Marusina, well, you can probably guess where this is going. Note, this is to give you guys some, interactions, with the story. Sorta like, a chose your own adventure type deal, just that you guys chose where we go next. Now, the Genocide in question is actually going to be the Musical Variant from Man On The Internet. If you all want that, let me know, well, I gotta get going. Wasted enough time here as it is. Hope you all enjoyed the show.

CHAOS CONTROL!
