Thechaosmaster: Hey, everyone, welcome back to…

Red: Chaos being behind again!

Chaos: God DAMNIT!

Red: Heh, seeing you pissed off always makes me smile.

Chaos glares hardly at Red: Listen here, I was going to do this entire skit based off of The World Revolving the (NOT) Musical from MOTI, but I decided against it.

Red: Why would you do that?

Chaos: Because, last week I played Deltarune. Figured, I waited over seven years to play Undertale, I might as well play the newer game by Toby Fox. And, I enjoyed it. Jevil fight really well, despite how hard it was, I actually managed to Pacify him, in about two days. And I really enjoyed The World Revolving the (NOT) Musical.

Red: Boss, you're rambling again.

Chaos: Sorry. Anyways, one thing many would notice about this chapter is it lack of combat. But you know what this chapter is. The "Date" with Undyne, with your obvious twist of Chaos added into the mix.

Red: Honestly, why don't we just wrap up here?

Chaos: Agreed. We'll talk more at the bottom. Enjoy!

Red: Disclaimer, because we don't want to fool anyone. We are not Toby Fox or Temmie Chang. Chaos knows nothing about designing, programming, or making music. And I'm just a figment of his imagination. So, in that regards, Undertale is not ours. This story is, but that is not the same.

Chapter 7: Making Friends And Finding Family

Frisk's POV

I looked down at the passed out Undyne, even though she had been chasing me around the entire Underground, wanting to kill me the entire time. I could tell that she wasn't really a terrible person. I mean, she WAS once Chara's teacher and friend. And I don't want her to die. I mean, even when she was chasing me through the cave that lead here, I did have a little fun along the way. Plus, running from her was kinda fun. I mean, minus all the human seeking spears being launched at me, of course.

So, I looked at the two cups of water in my hands and I decided on what I was going to do. I held one cup over Undyne's head, before slowly pouring it down on her, making sure to get enough water into her gills. Chara was surprised at this as she asked, "You're actually going to save her?"

It didn't sound like she was against it, just genuinely surprised by my decision, is all. To which I thought, 'Of course, Carrie. She may have been trying to kill me, and she may have even succeeded in doing so in a different Timeline, but, I don't want HER to die!'

Once the cup was empty, I took a few cautionary steps back, as I saw that Undyne was starting to move again, she opened her eyes and stared at me in shock, then she weakly asked, "What? Did you just, save me? Why? I was trying to kill you. In fact, I DID kill you! So, why?"

I smiled softly as I said, "Because, I didn't wish to see you die, Undyne." And that was true, I'm not a heartless person. "I don't want ANYONE to die if I can't help it."

This shocked her greatly. She pushed herself to be sitting up as she asked, "So, even though I killed you once before, you would still try to save me? Even though I could kill you again right now?" Confusion was covering her face, almost as if she can't believe I'd save her life.

I nodded as I said, "Yes, because I don't want to see monsters die. Even if they tried to kill me, or, even if they did kill me. I still want to try my hardest to show everyone that not ALL humans are pieces of crap."

That was when Carrie nodded as she floated in front of me, almost as if to protect me, and she said, "She's right, Undyne. This little kid is the most passive of pacifists I have ever met. She's starting to remind me a lot of Azzie in that regard."

Undyne's lone eye seemed to flicker on Carrie, before she slowly stood up, and turned away before scoffing and angrily saying, "If you think saving my life makes us friends, you're wrong!"

I gently pushed Carrie to the side as I walked up to Undyne and offered up the second cup of water as I said, "Then how about we just call this even? You saved my life back at that cliffside, I saved yours. No debts required or anything. Just us being even."

Undyne glanced at the water, almost as if she thought I poisoned it. She hesitantly took it, before drinking the water, crushing the cup in her hand, and throwing the cup in the lava below us. "I'll accept this." She said, her voice soft, but I could hear her grumble about something. She then once more locked onto Carrie, then she turned and walked away without another word.

Carrie turned to me, a slightly worried expression on her face, then she asked, "Hon, are you, okay? You know, after, what just…happened?"

I knew what she was talking about, my…death. I nodded slowly as I placed my hand over my chest and said, "Ye-yeah. It hurt for like, a second, but after that, I felt, nothing. Honestly, I'm fine, I promise." And that was the truth, when Undyne's spear went through me, for the final time, it stung for but a single moment, but then, nothing.

I could tell Carrie didn't fully believe me, or at the very least, was still worried about me, which was completely understandable. And she proved to me that she was concerned about me as she placed a comforting hand on my shoulder and said, "If YOU need someone to talk to about that, I'm here." She then had this playful glint in her crimson eyes as she smiled playfully at me and lightly shoved my shoulder as she said, "Francesca Merriweather."

I blushed beat red at this, as I covered my face in embarrassment and said, "Oh, GOD! I can't believe I actually said my real name while trying to SPARE Undyne!" There wasn't anything bad about my name, but, I just don't want to be called that at the moment. Or, even ever again now. My name is Frisk now. And that's all I want to be called by.

I felt Carrie playfully punch my arm as she said, "Hey, it's not a bad name. I actually find it kinda cute. Seriously, girl, why didn't tell me your real name when we first met?"

I placed my hands on my cheeks, feeling them warm up in embarrassment at my name being called cute, as I said, "Because, that name is tied with my past. You know, the shitty part of it." I simply shrugged as I continued. "I figured, I'm down here, trying to make a new life for myself, might as well have a new start. You know, distance myself from the old me, and make way for a new, better me. And what better way than to give myself a new name? You know? New world, new me."

Carrie nodded, be it, with a concerned expression on her face. Then she asked, "Well, what about Merriweather? Why didn't you mention your last name, then?"

I smiled softly at her, because while the name 'Francesca' was a name that I never really felt, connected to. The name Merriweather was something I had from my parents.

It was the only thing I still had of them, and I didn't want to lose it, I shook my head as I simply said, "You never asked. Or, at the very least, never specified that you wanted my LAST name. Besides, I never asked for your ORIGINAL last name, either."

I lightly smiled as Carrie blushed ever so lightly, then she said, "Point taken. So, what's the plan now?"

I filled up another cup of water, before drinking it myself, then filling up another cup before splashing my face, then after shaking my head a few times, I tossed the cup into the lava, and looked over to where Undyne had went and thought back to what Papyrus had said, then I looked over to Carrie and said, "Why don't we try to make friends with Undyne? I mean, I know it might be hard, but, it couldn't hurt to try, right?"

Carrie nodded slowly, then she said, "No, but I sure hope Papyrus has a plan, because I don't think Undyne would just ALLOW you into her house."

I nodded, hoping the same thing. I reached out my hand to Chara, and she took it, and together we walked all the way back towards Undyne's house. We passed by Sans' station, who was still sleeping, and I left 5G for him. Figure I give him a tip, for lending me that gold. Still curious as to how he knew we'd be at the Temmie Village by the time I read his note.

On our way back to Undyne's house, with Chara obviously leading the way, I noticed the sign that read 'WELCOME TO HOTLAND' in big, red digital letters. I would ask how I missed it while passing through here, but then again, I WAS running for my life, so, yeah.

While we were walking I turned towards Chara and asked her, "So, what can you tell me about Undyne? You know, when she's not busy trying to kill little kids?"

Chara looked up at the walls as we pass by, and she said, "Well, while I was still alive, she loved training, a LOT. She dedicated herself to training, back when I knew her, she was still training to be in Royal Guard. Dad always respected Undyne's strength."

Chara said as she looked upwards, a small smile on her face as she said so. "In fact, that was how she started to be trained by dad. She always said that she wanted to become part of the Royal Guard. When me and Azzie were still alive, she would train with dad a lot. In fact, we were able to see their training, it was incredible. I have mentioned that she was our bodyguard, and that is true. Dad assigned her to be our bodyguard for a few years, if she was able to keep us out of trouble, dad would have initiated her into the Royal Guard. And after three years, she had become enrolled into the Royal Guard."

After she said that, she looked down in sadness, then she said, "I guess, after we died, she took her training much more seriously, and now, it seems she's head of the Royal Guard. She's changed, and it's all my fault."

I could sense the sadness coming off of her, so I brought her into a hug and said, "It's not your fault, Carrie."

But she lightly pushed me off of her. "No, it is, Frisky!" She cried out. "If I hadn't come up with that stupid suicidal plan, none of this would have happened! Mom and dad would still be together! The six kids who had fallen down here would probably still be alive! Hell, Azzie would still be alive, and the Underground would probably be a much better place than it is now!"

I looked at her in concern, for she never mentioned anything about HER being fine. I knew that this was a rough subject to talk about with her, but I still had to ask "So, does this mean that you, regret what you've done, Carrie?"

She nodded slowly as she said, "Yes, I do. Very much so, Frisky. But, don't get me wrong, hon. Even if I could take it all back, had the power of RESET at the moment the humans attacked Azzie, and undo everything that I have ever done. Convince Azzie to retreat, I… I wouldn't do it." Her last words were hesitant, and soft.

This shocked me, "Why?" I asked in confusion. "Why wouldn't you change the past if you could, Carrie?" Why wouldn't she want to undo all the wrongs that has happened because of her death? I looked deep into those crimson eyes of hers and asked, "What could be so important that you would make yourself suffer like this, Carrie?"

She looked down at me with a small smile as she said, "Because of you, Frisky. It's you. You're the reason why I don't want to change anything."

I was shocked at hearing this, and I took a few steps back in shock. "Me?" I asked in confusion. "You refuse to wish that, because of me?"

Carrie nodded as she looked up to the ceiling and said, "Yes. If it wasn't for you falling onto my grave, I would still be in a terrible place. And I don't mean slumbering eternally. I had always thought of humans as the absolute worst creatures on this planet, and especially what they had done to me. I hated them, ALL of them. When they first attacked Azzie, I… I wanted to kill them. All of them! Then Azzie died."

I watched as she rubbed her eyes from any tears that were forming as she said, "But then, you came along, brought me back in a different form. And you made me believe that there could be good in some humans. And not only that, you gave me love, Frisk. The caring kind of love."

My eyes widened in surprise at hearing this, then she said, "I had only received something similar to that kind of love from the Monsters that live down here, and only then, it was always either platonic, friendly or family kind of love. Until I had met you, I never really found myself attracted to anyone. At first, I thought that Azzie was kinda cute, but I never really tried asking him out, and honestly, I'm kinda glad I didn't."

It was clear to me that she was enjoying her own memories of a much better time, a more simpler time. "I realized we were better at being siblings then having any kind of romance between us. Besides, that would have been awkward after being siblings for a few years. And especially now that I have you."

She chuckled very lightly at this as she said, "We got along very well, don't get me wrong, Frisky. But, we did have our sibling spouts from time to time and we drove each other nuts. Heh, it was kinda funny how we got on each other's nerves sometimes."

From the way she spoke about her relationship with Asriel, I could tell that she loved her adopted brother very dearly, then she said, "But despite all our bickering, and roughhousing, at the end of the day, Azzie was still my adorable, dorky older brother, and I was still his little sister, and we loved each other as siblings."

She then looked down at me as she said, "But you, even when it was just playful flirting, or simple signs of gratitude and appreciation, you have shown unconditional love towards me that I had never felt before. You gave me something that no one else could have done before. You gave me the feeling of someone who I could cherish for a long time. Being your girlfriend has given me a happiness that I don't want to lose even if it means I can make my home a much better place. THAT is why, even if I had the power to go back and change everything, I wouldn't."

I was more than shocked by this point, and the shock only continued to grow as she said, "Because, not only is being your girlfriend something I want to see where it goes, but being your friend in general, having you as a friend, that's a treasure I couldn't afford to lose. As I told Gerson, you are my beacon of hope. You brought me out of a very dark place I was in, and you started to make me a better person. And I wouldn't give this up, even if it meant I could fix everything down here."

I couldn't believe what I had just heard. She was willing to torture herself, willing to allow this place to be the way it is, for my sake? I held her hand tightly. "Carrie, you shouldn't say something like that." I said, not wanting her to give up fixing things, just to keep me.

Carrie nodded slowly as she sadly said, "I know, Frisky, I know. It's a horrible, selfish, terrible thought. But, if it means I lose my friend, if it means I lose you, I wouldn't want to do it."

I hadn't realized I was that important to her, wanting to get off this sad train we're on, I looked to her and asked, "So, is there anything else about Undyne I should know?"

Carrie smiled gratefully at this change of topic, then she looked upwards with an even bigger smile she said, "She also loves to play the piano!"

You could hear admiration Chara had for Undyne at that moment, she sounds like she looks up to her. "In fact, she was the one who taught me how to play. Also, she was the one who got me that piano you played not too long ago."

Oh, yeah. I remembered seeing her name emblazoned in gold on that piano. While we were walking, we intwined our fingers together, and walked hand in hand. It was a long walk to Undyne's house, then, Chara once again spoke, this time more sadly, "Frisk, I'm so sorry about, letting you die. If I had just tried a little harder, maybe…"

I squeezed her hand reassuringly as I said, "It wasn't your fault, dear. And you didn't let me die. If anything, it was my fault that I died. I was foolish into thinking that Undyne would allow me to be merciful. I should have listened to you in the first place. You did tell me that sparing her would be impossible, but I still tried to do it anyways."

Chara smiled sweetly at me as she said, "I guess we're both to blame for what had happened, huh?"

I nodded at this, and said, "Yeah, I guess we are." I looked up towards the ceiling and asked, "So, you knew that, Wing Ding guy before, Carrie?" Remembering that strange, disembodied voice who helped us when I was…killed.

Carrie nodded, as she scratched her head and said, "Yeah, I guess so. My memories about him are, vague, at best. I mean, I knew that I had known him at some point. I remember that he was one of the few people who knew about my scars, not even Azzie knew about them, but I couldn't put my finger on his name. In fact, I believe that he either gave us a false name, or only part of his name. Because the name Wing Ding, doesn't ring any bells."

I lightly giggled at this and asked, "Please tell me that was an intended rhyming joke, Carrie?"

Carrie looked at me weirdly as she asked, "What do you mean, Frisky?"

I put my fist to my mouth and said, "Wing Ding… Ring? C'mon, Carrie. I swear that HAD to be intentional."

As we passed through the darkening cave, Carrie's eyes widened as she put her hand over her face as she groaned and said, "God damnit! You and Sans are corrupting me! I used to be this serious person who hated puns, and not even three days with you and Sans trading verbal blows, and I am now infected with the funnies!"

I giggled at this and wrapped my arm around her waist and brought her closer to me as I said, "Hey, c'mon, Carrie. It's not that bad! So, we're all a bunch of jokesters, what's so bad about that?"

She smiled softly at me as she wrapped her arm around my waist and said, "Well, I guess since you're the only one who can hear MY terrible puns, I guess nothing."

I smiled warmly at her and said, "C'mon, let's get to Undyne's place!"

And so, with my own personal angel beside me, we made our way to Undyne's house. We soon arrived at the location right after our Mad Dummy fight, I decided to make a stop at the SAVE point. Now knowing that I could come back here if I die, it will be quite the smart decision, if Undyne decides to kill me. I turned to Carrie and said, "So, dear, can you lead me to Undyne's place?"

Carrie nodded and she led me her former teacher's house. "It's actually right up this way."

Chara led me to the top most left pathway from where Blooky's house is, and there, standing before us, was Papyrus, no surprise there. But it was the house that surprised me. It looked like a vicious shark, with sharp teeth, and a mermaids tail? Well, guess Undyne has that aquatic personality for it. I walked up to Papyrus and said, "Hey, Papyrus!"

The jovial skeleton smiled brightly at me as he loudly said, "OHO! THE HUMAN ARRIVES! ARE YOU READY TO HANG OUT WITH UNDYNE?"

I nodded and said, "I sure hope that you have a plan, Papyrus." I really was hopping that he actually had a plan for making me and Undyne friends. And not allow her to just throw spears into me again.

Papyrus smiled brightly as he said, "OH, DON'T WORRY! I INDEED HAVE A PLAN TO MAKE YOU TWO GREAT FRIENDS!"

I could sense Carrie's uneasiness about this as she said, "I'm not sure, Papyrus. Undyne only let Frisky go last time because we made it to Hotland. And Frisky decided to save her life. I don't think she'll be very happy right now if she sees her."

I actually agreed with her, but, I trusted Papyrus. At least, enough to know that he wouldn't purposely put me in danger. "Alright, Paps. I trust you. Let's hang out with Undyne!" I said with a bright smile on my face.

Papyrus looked at me with a small thinking frown, "HMM, SANS IS THE ONLY ONES WHO CALLS ME PAPS. AND SOMETIMES UNDYNE, BUT, SEEING AS WE'RE GOOD FRIENDS, I'LL ALLOW IT!" He then gave me a wide smile and a thumbs up as he said, "OKAY! STAND BEHIND ME!"

I did as he asked of me and watched as he was about to knock, but first turned to me and whispered, "PSST. MAKE SURE TO GIVE HER THIS!" He then handed me a yellow bone with a red ribbon tied around its center. "SHE LOVES THESE!" You know, if he wasn't a skeleton, I would have found this very creepy.

Paps then knocked very loudly, and soon enough, the shark mouth, door, thing, opened up and there was Undyne, except, she was out of her armor. Must have been too hot for her to be in. Instead, she was wearing a black tanktop, blue jeans and brown combat boots. She was slimmer than I was expecting. But I could see that she had plenty of muscle.

I stayed hidden behind Paps, just as a precautionary measure. Then I glanced towards Undyne, trying to stay as hidden as possible, and I saw her smile at the tall skeleton, before happily saying, "Hi, Papyrus! Ready for your extra-private, one-on-one training?"

Me and Carrie shared a silent laugh at this, for it wasn't so 'one-on-one' now, was it? Then I heard Carrie whisper, "You see? She's not so bad, when she's not chasing you down with all the ferociousness of a great white shark." And I couldn't agree more, when she's not desperately trying to kill me, she does sound a bit more, playful.

"YOU BET I AM! AND I BROUGHT A FRIEND!" Paps turned to his side to reveal me.

Undyne had her eye closed as she said, "Hi, I don't think we've…" She then opened her lone eye and went silent.

I waved awkwardly and said, "Uh, hi. Undyne." I glanced over to Paps, who gave me a thumbs up, I glanced over to Undyne and mouthed, 'This was Paps idea.'

Undyne looked like she wanted to kill me right then and there, and if looks could kill, then with the glare Undyne was giving me, the Barrier would be broken in the next ten minutes, if her clenching her fists was anything to go by.

But it seemed like she swallowed that desire, rather forcefully, I might add, as she said, "Why don't. You two. Come in?" Undyne asked in a very forced tone, that I could tell, she didn't want to say, at the very least, to me.

Papyrus looked to me and said, "WELL, LET'S GET GOING!" He then ran towards the door and started running around in circles, before heading inside. I looked at Carrie, and she nodded, and together, we walked inside Undyne's house. And I saw that it was actually a very nice place. With cyan and yellow floor tiles, a massive refrigerator, a grand piano. A dark purple oven top. A massive table, and, an overly sized sword.

I don't think anyone, not even Undyne, could be able to use that sword as it was intended. That was when I was brought back to the real world as Paps said, "HERE, UNDYNE. MY FRIEND BROUGHT YOU A GIFT. ON HER OWN!"

Deciding to do a little more than just give her the bone, I also pulled out my Sea Tea, and handed both of them to her. "Here you go, Undyne. Just a little something from us, uh I mean me."

Undyne took the two gifts and smiled forcefully as she said, "Uhhh… thanks. I'll put this with the others." She then opened a drawer that was full of bones, and placed the bone with the others, and placed the Sea Tea on the table. Then she folder her arms and said, "So, are we ready to start?"

That was when Paps turned to me and said, "WHOOPSY DOOPSY! I JUST REMEMBERED! I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM! YOU TWO HAVE FUN!"

At that, Paps bent his knees and did a backwards dive bomb out of the window, we all heard a thud and I had to flinch at that, 'cause that sounded painful. Then Undyne sighed sadly as she said, "Man, he usually lands those things."

I turned to her and jerked my thumb towards the window and asked, "So, he does that normally, then?"

Undyne nodded, then she locked eyes, er, eye, on me and she said, "Yeah, but normally he nails the landing. Must be an off day for him." She then glared at me as she asked, "So, why are YOU here? To rub your victory in my face? To humiliate me even further? IS THAT IT!?" She yelled out her last question, making me take a few steps backwards in fear.

I felt Carrie grip my arm in a comforting motion, before I took a deep breath, and said, "No, Undyne. I would never rub victory in someone's face. I'm not that kind of person, Undyne. I swear."

Undyne gritted her teeth as she asked, "Then why ARE you here?"

I stood straight up and straightened myself out, before saying in a very calm tone, "Because, Undyne, I wanted to see if we could be friends."

Undyne looked down at me as she asked, "You really think that I'm gonna be friends with you, huh?"

I smiled softly as I lightly scratched my cheek and said, "Well, yeah. I kinda did." Admittedly, I know how hard it's going to be to win her friendship.

Undyne laughed loudly as she sarcastically said, "Really? How delightful! I accept! Let's all frolic in the fields of friendship!" I flinched at how sarcastic her voice turned, and especially how harsh it sounded coming from her.

Then the nail was driven home as she said, "NOT! Why would I EVER be friends with YOU!?" I flinched again at the very harsh words that Undyne was saying. "If you weren't my houseguest, I'd beat you up RIGHT NOW! You're the enemy of everyone's hopes and dreams! I will NEVER BE YOUR FRIEND! Now, get out of my house!"

I turned away from Undyne as I looked down in sadness, then I turned back to Undyne and said, "Fine. I just thought that we could be friends, Undyne. But, if that is what you wish, I'll see myself out."

Just as I walked towards the shark teeth like door, I heard Paps voice say, "DANG!" We all turned towards the window and saw that Paps was standing right in the window as he said, "WHAT A SHAME. I THOUGHT UNDYNE COULD BE FRIENDS WITH YOU. BUT I GUESS I OVERESTIMATED HER. SHE'S JUST NOT UP TO THE CHALLENGE."

And with that, Paps was gone, but Undyne ran towards the window, throwing her fist to the rocky ceiling, saying, "CHALLENGE!? What!? Papyrus! Wait a second…"

That was when Carrie laughed as she said, "Oh, my GOD! Papyrus, you're a fucking genius!"

I was about to ask her what she meant, but then I remembered our FIGHT with Undyne. Knowing that Undyne can't resist a good challenge, I smiled playfully as I asked, "Yeah, Undyne." The shark lady looked at me as I said, "What's the matter? Do you think making friends with me is too challenging?"

Undyne smirked viciously at this as she had this glint in her eye that seemed, dangerous, then she said, "You know, for a small kid, you have quite the big mouth. You too think I can't make friends with you!? Fuhuhu! What a joke! I could make friends with a wimpy loser like you any day!"

My smile got even bigger as I said, "Well then, shall we start?" It seems that Paps really is smarter than his goofy personality would lead you to believe. And we've seen this before, from the first time I saw Undyne.

Undyne smirked as she said, "Yes! I'll show both of you! Listen up, human. We're not just going to be friends. We're going to be BESTIES! I'll make you like me so much, you won't be able to think of anyone else! Fuhuhuhuhu! It's the PERFECT REVENGE!" She screamed out to the heavens.

Undyne gestured to her table before saying in the calmest voice she seemed to be able to muster, "Why don't you have a seat?" I took my seat, and Undyne looked over to me as she asked, "Comfortable?"

I took a seat, and once I was, I smiled as I nodded and politely said, "Very much so, in fact. Thank you, Undyne."

The shark lady smiled brightly at this, as she said, "Great! I'll get you something to drink." Undyne then prepared several kinds of drinks, once the options were placed, she turned to me, her hands together and said, "All set! What would you like?"

I started to get up to pick my drink, when Undyne launched a spear at me, striking her table, breaking it in half! I instantly pushed myself away from the table and fell on my back as I shouted out, "WHAT THE HELL, UNDYNE!? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!?"

"HEY! DON'T GET UP!" Undyne yelled out at me. "YOU'RE THE GUEST! SIT DOWN AND ENJOY YOURSELF!"

I glared at Undyne as I pushed myself back up and brushed myself off and I noticed that she pierced the Sea Tea and table at the same time. Chara wasn't kidding, her aim is not something to scoff at. I got comfortable once again and asked, "Then how am I supposed to tell you what I want, if I can't get up?"

Undyne sweatdropped as she said, "Uh, why not just point to what you want? You can use the spear!"

I glanced over to the spear, before picking it up, with the Sea Tea still impaled by it. I kinda lost my balance with it at first and caused it to point towards Undyne. She looked over to me and awkwardly asked, "Uh, are you flirting with me?"

Seeing a perfect way to have some fun, I playfully smiled at her and asked, "Yeah. Why not? You look like a nice drink to have, if I do say so myself." I finished with a wink, which caused Undyne to blush very deeply.

I heard Carrie slap her forehead hard as she said, "Really, Frisk? You don't have to flirt with EVERY monster you meet, you know."

I giggled a bit before I straightened myself out and said, "Sorry, Undyne. I'm a very flirty person. I couldn't resist."

Undyne straightened herself out, still blushing a little bit, before she rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever, just choose your drink and let's get things started."

I noticed a cup of soda, but decided against it, I wasn't too big of a fan of the overly surgery drink. I then glanced over to Carrie and thought, 'So, dear, based on your own personal experience with Undyne, what would you think the proper choice would be in this situation?'

I watched as Carrie scratched her chin as she said, "Well, if Undyne hasn't changed in the past century, I would have to go with, Golden Flower Tea."

Deciding to trust Carrie, I pointed the spear towards the box of tea and said, "I guess I'll have the tea, Undyne."

Undyne looked to where I was pointing and she asked, "…Tea, huh? Coming right up!" While she did that, I placed the spear right beside me, or, at the very least, I would've, if it didn't vanish right after Undyne turned away. I also heard the Sea Tea clatter on the ground.

We watched as Undyne started to prepare the tea, she then turned to me and smiled as she said, "It'll take a moment for the water to boil."

While the water boiled, I smiled warmly at Carrie, who punched me in the shoulder playfully as she said, "Girl, you need to stop flirting with every single monster you come across. After all, you're going to make me jealous."

I smiled playfully at her before thinking, 'Well, what if that's the whole point? What if I want you to be super jealous of every other monster in the Underground?'

Before Carrie was able to respond, I heard Undyne clear her throat, and saying, "Okay, it's all done!" She then walked over to me and handing me the piping hot cut of tea.

Undyne smiled at me as she said, "Here we are." She then went to the other side of the broken table and said, "Careful, it's hot."

I carefully picked up the hot cup of tea, and blew on it gently, and was about to take a sip from it when Undyne impatiently said, "Oh, come ON! It's not THAT hot! Just drink it already!"

I rolled my eyes at the impatience of Undyne and slowly took a drink, instantly my mouth was engulfed in the sweet, delicious nectar that was the tea. Once I got the first few sips down my throat, I lowered the cup and smiled warmly at Undyne and said, "Man, Undyne! This is some quality tea right here!"

Undyne smiled widely as she said, "I know, right? Nothing but the best for my ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS FRIEND!"

I raised my cup and said, "To friendship!" Undyne smirked and clanked her cup up against mine and we both took a sip from our tea.

While I was drinking, Undyne looked to the side and said, "Hey… You know, it's kinda strange you chose THAT tea. Golden Flower Tea. That's Asgore's favorite kind. Actually, now that I think about it, heheh, you kind of remind me of him."

I smiled softly at this. Seems Asgore really was this nice guy after all, if UNDYNE says I remind her of him. That was, however, until she said, "You're both TOTAL weenies!"

I resisted the urge roll my eyes at being called a weenie, but before I could respond, Undyne pulled at her shirt collar and said, "…sort of."

I looked at Undyne with a raised eyebrow and asked, "What do you mean, sort of?"

Undyne leaned forward, resting one of her arms on her broken table as she and said, "Y'know, I was a pretty hotheaded kid."

I gave her a playful smirk and asked, "WAS, Undyne? Because, from what I can tell, I'm pretty sure you're still hotheaded."

Undyne smirked at me before she said, "And don't you forget it, punk!" She then took another sip of her tea before saying, "Once, to prove I was the strongest, I tried to fight Asgore. Emphasis on TRIED. I couldn't land a single blow on him! And worse, the whole time, he refused to fight back!"

Carrie smiled warmly at this before saying, "Yeah, that's dad for you. He knew he was the strongest monster in the entire Underground. So, if one were to challenge him to a FIGHT, he wouldn't fight back himself, and instead, allow his opponents wear themselves out."

I kept watching as Undyne locked her eye on Carrie, and I could tell that she was getting upset, but it seemed like she wasn't ready to comment on it just yet. She looked down into her cup as she swirled it around and said, "I was so humiliated. Afterwards, he apologized and said something goofy. 'Excuse me, do you want to know how to beat me?' I said yes, and from then on, he trained me. One day, during practice, I FINALLY managed to knock him down. I felt bad, but, he was beaming. I've never seen someone more PROUD to get their butt kicked!"

I smiled at her and said, "It sounds to me like Asgore was so proud because he taught such a successful student, Undyne."

Undyne smiled at me as she said, "Yeah, that's Asgore for ya." She then waved her hand as I finished the last sips of my tea, as she said, "Anyways, long story short, he kept training me, and now I'm head of the Royal Guard! So I'M the one who gets to train dorks to fight! Like, uh, Papyrus." She said a little awkwardly.

I playfully pouted and with a large smile, I said, "Hey, Paps ain't a dork!"

To which Undyne laughed as she said, "You kidding me? He's the biggest, silliest, dork I've ever met! But, he's got a heart of gold." She sighed sadly as she said, "But, um, to be honest. I don't know if I could ever let Papyrus into the Royal Guard. Don't tell him I said that!"

Me and Carrie's eyes widened as we heard that, and I said in shock, "WHAT!? But, Undyne, Paps big dream is to become a part of the Royal Guard!"

Undyne placed her cup onto the broken table as she sadly stared into it as she said, "Yeah, I know, I know. But… He's just… Well, I mean it's not that he's weak. He's actually pretty freaking tough!"

I smiled as I rubbed my arms, remembering all those attacks he fired off at me as I said, "Yeah, I know he is. He actually almost got me too, during our FIGHT. If he was actually serious, he would've had me for sure! And I'm pretty sure that was even holding back against me."

Undyne nodded with a smile as she said, "See!? You get it! It's just that, he's too innocent and nice!" She pointed at me as she said, "I mean look, he was SUPPOSED to capture you, and he ended up being FRIENDS with you instead!"

I smiled lightly at this as I looked up to the ceiling as I said, "Well, I can't help it if I'm able to make friends with every monster I meet, Undyne."

Undyne smiled at this as she said, "Yeah, I kinda figured from what Cedric told me. Little miss friendly." I looked right at her with a big smile, then she said, "Anyways, I could NEVER send Papyrus into battle! He'd get ripped into little smiling shreds. That's part of why I started teaching him how to cook, you know? So, um, maybe he can do something else with his life."

I looked down at my empty cup and with a thoughtful expression, I said, "You do know that's not going to stop him, right Undyne?" I looked up at Undyne as I said, "From the moment I first saw Papyrus while I was hiding behind that conveniently shaped lamp, all he talked about was becoming part of the Royal Guard."

Undyne sighed sadly as she said, "Yeah, I know, kid. I know." Then she lightly chuckled as she said, "And that lamp? Heh, supposedly, Papyrus said that he actually thought it was a human. He called me and when I found it, I almost used him as target practice for mistaking a lamp for a human. Kinda looks like you, kid."

I smiled softly at the captain of the Royal Guard and said, "Please, we're trying to be friends here, call me Frisk."

Undyne smiled at me as she said, "Frisk, huh? Cute name. Alright, Frisk. Nice to meet you." I nodded, showcasing that I felt the same.

But, then Undyne once more glanced over at Chara, before she sighed and said, "Before we continue, Frisk, can you kindly dismiss whatever magic you're using to make me see the princess? Because, that's not very cool of you."

Carrie was getting nervous, but, because I didn't want to lie to one of the only people that actually CAN see Carrie, I carefully said, "Uh, actually, Undyne, this ain't a trick."

Undyne glared at me as she said, "Frisk, look. I'm TRYING to be nice here. And I KNOW that you're using some kind of illusionary magic to make me see the fallen Princess. So, just stop whatever it is, and I WON'T kill you again!"

I then grabbed Carrie by the shoulder, trying to instill confidence into myself and I said, "She's not an illusion, Undyne! She's real! Her SOUL attached itself onto mine when I fell into the Underground and landed on her grave!"

Undyne slammed her fist into the table, finally shattering the left side into pieces, her anger reaching its limits as she said, "ENOUGH! Drop the spell and get out of my house!"

I knew things were starting to fall apart now, and if I didn't say anything, it would only get worse. And without really thinking, I yelled out, "I'VE SEEN HER BACK! I'VE SEEN HER SCARS!"

Hearing this caused Undyne to faulter as she asked, "What, what did you say?"

I straightened myself out as I once more spoke. "I SAID, I've seen her back, Undyne. How it is riddled with scars and has been emblazoned with marks."

Undyne seemed to be starting to believe me, and Carrie was completely silent here, almost as if she was terrified as to what was going to happen next. Undyne looked towards me, a death gleam in her eye as she slowly repeated, "What. Did. You. Just. Say?"

I took a deep breath as I once again said, "I said, 'I've seen the marks.'" I shivered at the very thought of someone like Carrie having those scars all over her back, then I said so softly it was almost a whisper, "Unwanted. Unloved. Demon. She had shown me those scars herself."

I looked down at my hands, imagining the kind of torment she had to have gone through to get to where she was. I then looked up at Undyne with tears in my eyes as I asked, "How would I know about them if no one else would have mentioned Chara? Only Cedric mentioned her name at all, and that was only because he was explaining why you were after humans."

Undyne looked towards Chara and she asked one question. "So, if you are real, princess, I'm guessing that means that you've been following this kid around the Underground, yet, no one is able to see you? Is that it?"

Chara was silent for a little bit, before she nodded as she finally spoke. "Yes, well, almost no one. Besides Frisk, Napstablook, Gerson, yourself, and for some strange reason, Bob the Temmie, no one else can see me. And I rather it stay that way." I heard her say under her breath.

Undyne looked at Chara and she said, "If, if by chance you really ARE the princess, the scars could be a lucky guess on the twerps side, or Gerson could have told you about that. But, if you ARE the princess, then tell me something. Tell me something that only the PRINCESS would know."

I turned to Chara, who looked to be shrunken down into herself, I wanted desperately to run over to her and hug her tightly, but I didn't want to make things more uncomfortable for her.

Just when I thought Undyne was going to snap, Chara looked up at Undyne and she said, "When I first fell down here, I wasn't, gulp in the greatest of mindsets. I still felt all the torment that the humans above put me through, and, well, I… I tried to take my own life."

She looked down at the ground as, in a whisper, she said, with tears in her eyes, "Several times." My hands went to my mouth as my eyes widened in shock at what I had just heard.

Chara rubbed her wrists solemnly as she said, "Once, I tried cutting myself, but, when mom found out, she dulled all the tools and nailed down and hidden all the knives so I couldn't do so again. Then, during the first time you took me out to Waterfall, near your house. I wandered off, and I found myself at the very spot where you saved Frisky and Cedric's lives. And, I…"

I could tell Chara wasn't happy or even comfortable with what was happening, if her heavy breathing, and her trembling body was anything to go by, so, deciding that supporting Chara was more important than anything else, I quickly ran to her side, regardless of how Undyne would think of us, and brought her into my chest and held her tight. Carrie clinged onto me almost as if, for dear life, before her breathing started to slow down. I said nothing and instead started to gently rub circles in her back.

Carrie quickly began to calm down, as her body started to settle and her breathing returned to normal. She smiled up at me in gratitude, before she rested her head on my shoulders as she said, "And I jumped. I once again tried to take my own life, by jumping off that cliff, but you saved me, and you gave me a speech about how taking my own life was a cowards way out." I felt Carrie shiver ever so slightly at this. I knew this was uncomfortable for her to say, and I held a small bit of anger at Undyne for making Carrie bring this horror up.

Then when Carrie recentered herself, she said, "That by doing so, I would allow the humans to win. That, if I killed myself, that they would win, that they had successfully destroyed me. So, what better way to stick it to them, then by staying alive? When I had returned home, I asked you, mom, and dad never to mention any of my suicide attempts to Azzie. Because I didn't want to make him worry about me."

The more that Chara had spoken, the more I realized just how much she has buried. It hurt to see her in such a state, it really did. My heart went out to her as she spoke. "You knew how he was, Undyne. Always hanging over my shoulder, trying his damn hardest to make me feel better when I was feeling down. Singing that stupid lullaby of his whenever I had the, dreams. If he knew I tried killing myself, he wouldn't leave me alone. Let alone out of his sights. And, I didn't want him to see me such a state." She then started crying into my shoulders.

I continued to rub her back in a comforting motion, then I turned to glare at Undyne, seeing Chara in such an emotional state caused me to become very protective about her. "Are you happy now, Undyne?" I asked in a very upset voice. "You had to have known that Chara was very sensitive about her past. You're supposed to be her friend, and yet, you make her relive the worst parts of her life."

Seriously, what was she thinking? What kind of friend would bring up the worst parts of someone's past? Tightening my grip around Carrie, I took a few deep breaths to calm myself down to prevent myself from overreacting, I said, "This. This right here is why I never fully asked her about her past. Because from the moment I had met her, and she briefly mentioned her birth mother, I knew. I just knew that her past was a rough subject and that it had to hurt her just thinking about it. And I didn't want to see her in such a state."

I turned back to Chara and brought her into a deeper hug, still rubbing her back softly whispering, "Shh, shh. It's all right, Carrie. It's all right. That's in the past now. You're safe. Nothing can hurt you now. You're all right. You're all right."

I allowed Carrie to cry into my shoulders as I looked over to Undyne as I asked, "So, anything else you want to say to make Chara even more upset than she already is, Undyne?"

Instead of getting angry or anything she looked down at the crying girl in my arms and her expression softened as she asked, "It really is her, isn't it?"

Still holding Chara in my arms, I nodded as I said, "Yes, if it wasn't for her, I probably would be dead fifty times over right now. In fact, if not for her, I probably wouldn't have even left the Ruins."

Undyne raised an eyebrow at this and asked, "Why wouldn't you have left the Ruins?"

Chara seemed to have finally stopped crying, but still stayed nestled in my hair, almost as if she, herself, didn't want to leave the safety that was my arms. So, seeing as Carrie was silent at the moment, I said, "Well, I met Queen Toriel there, for starters."

Undyne's lone eye widened at this as she asked, "Toriel's in the Ruins?"

I nodded, and I said, "Yes. And she was like a mother to me." I looked down, as I remembered the motherly warmth that Toriel had given me. "When I had first met her, she saved me from being killed by a psychotic golden flower."

Undyne's eye widened as she said, "So, you had the unfortunate luck if running into Flowey the Flower, huh?"

I heard Carrie sniff as she looked up at Undyne and asked, "You mean, you know that psychopath?"

Undyne nodded as she said, "Yeah, I know that guy." She decided not to talk more about him, but I could tell that she was uncomfortable about something. "Had a few, encounters, with him in the past."

Deciding that Flowey would have to wait, I said, "Anyways, she basically took me in. She, along with Carrie, taught me how to be merciful in a FIGHT, and, well, mom, er, Toriel, went on her own to prepare her house for me to stay in. Chara, here, helped guide me through the entire Ruins. Safely guiding me through each twist and turn, as well as acting as a sorta, narrator, describing what is going on. Then, we came to Toriel's home."

Undyne seemed to be calm enough for me to tell this tale. "She just, welcomed me into her home, without even a single question. I felt, safe. I felt, like I was home. My parents died before I was born, dad in a car crash, and mom died in childbirth. I was just an orphan. I had no real parental love before. So, even though I was annoyed at her babying me at first, having someone like Toriel show me motherly love, felt, nice. She actually was like a mother to me. And the Ruins were even starting to feel like home to me. Not to mention how nice mom's home was. I felt like I actually WAS home." I smiled sadly as I remembered how, despite how much I loved her, I had to leave so quickly.

When Undyne spoke next, her tone in voice was calm, but, it also sounded, caring? "So, if it was home to you, and you saw Queen Toriel as a mother, twerp, why did you leave? Why take your chances out here? Where it was obviously more dangerous, to what reason could you have that you would leave Toriel's welcoming home?" Undyne asked, and I was shocked at how, concerned she was for me.

That was when Carrie sniffled and she gently pushed herself off of me and she said, "Me. She told me that she wanted to free all the monsters, and I wanted to help her. But, in order for us to do so, we had to leave the Ruins. I just, forced her out. What kind of friend forces their friend out away from the first parental figure they've ever had!?"

It was clear that Chara hated the fact that she convinced me to leave mom, but I once again hugged her tightly and softly said, "Carrie, sweety, it's not your fault. I would've disagreed with you the moment you suggested it if I was against the notion of leaving. You may have convinced me to find a way to break the Barrier. But in the end, it was my decision to leave. Mine. Not yours."

I watched as Undyne stood up tall as she placed her fists to her hips and said, "You know, you kids are awfully close for two people who've known each other for a few days."

I smiled brightly as I brought Carrier into a one arm hug and gave kiss on her cheek and watched as she blushed very deeply as I said, "Of course! She's my girlfriend, after all!"

Undyne gave me and Carrie a cheeky grin at this as she said, "Girlfriend, huh?"

In a matter of seconds, Chara was quickly yanked outta my arms and I watched as Undyne started to give Chara a great big noogie, who was surprised by the sudden change in positions as she cried out, "Wha-HEY! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA, UNDYNE!?"

Undyne smiled widely as she said, "If you think I was going to let you float into my house and get away without a noogie, you are sadly mistaken! Besides, while I'm sorry for bringing up your trauma, I'm sick of all this sappy shit!"

That was when Chara cried out, "Please don't noogie the ghost!" But I could tell, that, secretly, she was happy about this.

At this point, I couldn't handle it anymore, I started laughing like crazy, as I said, "My god! You two act like sisters!"

Undyne smirked as she continuously noogied my girlfriend, said, "Yep! After all, I had to babysit this brat and the prince every once and a while. And this little punk used to cause me all kinds of trouble and headaches when she was younger. But, luckily, all it took was a simple game of hide and seek to keep her outta trouble!"

Chara managed to squirm her way out of Undyne's arms, as she playfully punched Undyne and said, "'Hide and Seek'? You mean Hide and Try NOT to get impaled by spears!"

Undyne laughed and slapped Carrie in the back so hard that she face planted. "Fuhuhuhu! C'mon, it wasn't that bad! I mean, look! Even your girlfriend was able to avoid all my spears her first run!"

Chara pushed herself off of the ground and floated upwards as she said, "Yeah, and you STILL killed her!"

At this point, Undyne had the decency to look a little bit apologetic as rubbed the back of her head as she said, "Er, yeah. Sorry about that kiddo, er, Frisk."

I smiled warmly as she said, "I won't take it personally, Undyne. I mean, I should apologize myself. You know, for calling you a fucking psycho. And for calling you a bitch."

Undyne waved it off and said, "Eh, don't worry about it, punk. I've been called far worse when I go out to have drinks with other Royal Guard members. Hell, you should see what the Dog Squad is like drunk. Pups are a bunch of lightweights, I tell ya. Still, I was just doing my job."

I nodded at this, "Yeah, I kinda figured as much. After all, just about everyone attacks me when they first see me. Others are more hostile than others. Well, except Paps. From the moment I first saw him, I could tell, that all he needed was a friend. And the worst he did was put me in some challenging puzzles, which I was all up for."

Undyne laughed at this as she said, "Yeah, that's Papyrus for you! Dudes got the biggest love for puzzles down here." It seemed that she finally took notice of my empty cup and said, "Oh, my! We've been having so much fun, you're outta tea, aren't ya?"

I glanced downwards to my empty cup and said, "Oh, yeah. I kinda forgot I finished that a while ago."

Undyne smiled at me as she collected our cups and she said, "You know, originally I was going to have Papyrus have his cooking lesson, but I'm glad that we're becoming friends."

I smiled at this and said, "Yeah, me too, Undyne. You're actually pretty cool, you know, when you're not trying to brutally murder me."

Undyne laughed at this as she turned to me and Carrie and said, "You two just relax, I'll go warm us up some more tea." She then headed towards the counter when she stopped in her tracks, and she said, "Wait a second. Papyrus, his cooking lesson."

She suddenly turned to me and threw her fists to the sky, which, in turn, caused her to throw her cups into the ceiling. Leaving them implanted there, as she said, "HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THAT RIGHT NOW!" Her grin then turned vicious and her eye flashed a bright yellow, as she looked down at me and I felt a chill run down my spine as she said, "And if HE'S not here to have it… YOU'LL HAVE TO HAVE IT FOR HIM!"

Undyne jumped towards her countertop and kicked off everything that was on it. "That's right! NOTHING has brought Papyrus and I closer than cooking! WE'LL BECOME EVEN CLOSER THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE, FRISK!"

I awkwardly pulled at my shirt and jokingly asked, "Uh, is it too late for me to run for my life?"

Undyne started laughing at this as she said, "Fuhuhu! Afraid!? We're going to be best friends!"

She was then at mine and Carrie's sides in an instant and she said, "And don't think you're getting outta this, Princess!"

I watched as Chara tried to fly away from Undyne, but she quickly grabbed her by the shirt, and threw her under her arms as she said, "Uh-uh. Sorry, Princess, you're not getting out of this THAT easily."

I was about to ask her what she had meant, but she quickly grabbed me by my shirt. I was about ask what was about to happen, but suddenly I was lifted up out from where I was and dropped back down unceremoniously right by Undyne's counter. With Carrie on the other side of Undyne.

While I was getting the stars out of my face that had been circling around me, Undyne turned towards us and said, "Let's start with the sauce!" Undyne turned around and stomped her foot on the ground and I watched in shock as ingredients fell from the ceiling.

Undyne turned to me as she said, "All right, punks! Envision these vegetables as your greatest enemies! Now! Pound them to dust with your fists!"

I turned to Carrie, who, with an awkward smile, simply nodded, and together, we started hitting the tomatoes, which was kinda odd, but, I kinda figured that since Blooky could interact with objects like mixtapes, then Carrie, who was also a ghost, would be able to do the same thing.

Then again, what do I know? this is all completely new to me, so for all I knew, this should be impossible. Getting back to preparing the food, we were punching the veggies as hard as we could, but we were making a mess. Honestly, this is not how I would cook, then again, Undyne seems to be the kind of person who is very, excessive.

I turned towards Carrie, and despite how she wanted nothing to do with this at all, I could see that she was smiling brightly as she beat the veggies.

And it wasn't a vicious, 'I'm pounding my enemies faces in', kinda smile either. She honestly looked like she was having fun. And honestly, once I started pounding the veggies into paste, so was I. As I felt the tomatoes get squished by my fists, I couldn't help but to smile as I went along with this nonsense.

Undyne was cheering at this as she said, "YEAH! YEAH! Our hearts are uniting against these healthy ingredients! NOW IT'S MY TURN!"

Carrie quickly grabbed my shirt and pulled me out of the way as Undyne just punched the vegetables so hard, that they splattered all across the wall. Not to mention, some got on both me and Undyne's faces. Carrie managed to avoid the tomato paste by hiding behind Undyne. Which I thought as funny. A ghost, didn't want to get dirty. I wasn't even certain she COULD get dirty, but, eh, oh well.

Once things were clear, Carrie floated out from behind Undyne with her hands on her hips as she said, "This. This right here is why I was terrified of cooking with Undyne. She's more passionate about this than almost anything else."

She then turned to me and said, "Not to mention, she has an unhealthy habit setting kitchens on fire, Frisky! It's why mom never let her cook while she visited the castle." Carrie told me as we watched Undyne sweatdrop.

Undyne blushed in embarrassment as she said, "Uhh, we'll just scrape this into a bowl later."

I wiped the tomato paste off of my face with my shirt sleeve, and looked up to the taller fish women and asked, "Well, what's next?"

Undyne smirked as she said, "Now?" I got very uncomfortable because of that smile. It felt like a vicious animal was bearing down on me, and I wasn't far from the truth, it didn't help that I saw a devious glint in her one visible eye.

She then turned around and stomped her foot, and caused the whole house to shake, as a pot and a box of pasta fell from the roof. I looked at Undyne in confusion as I asked, "Do you always keep your ingredients in your ceiling, Undyne?"

Carrie laughed as she said, "Yep. She sure does!" It seemed as if her entire fear of cooking with Undyne was switched to being all for this. I mean, I haven't seen Carrie this happy before. That was when it hit me. Carrie was reminiscing.

Despite how annoyed Carrie sounds about cooking with Undyne, this must be something they did a lot in the past. And if not, then, just hanging out with Undyne… I just realized something else, 'She really does look up to Undyne.' It made sense, when that bear monster mentioned the fish lady, who I now know is Undyne, Carrie completely flipped her lid. She was her best friend. And it seems like a lot of Monsters look up to Undyne, like some kind of hero. Just like Carrie.

I shook my head, getting back on track as I watched as Undyne smirked as she said, "Glad to see you still remember, princess. Now, we add the noodles!"

I smiled at this, because I knew that, despite all the mess we were making, we were having fun, and that's all that mattered. "Homemade noodles are the best! BUT I JUST BUY THE STORE-BRAND!" She yelled out to the heavens as she threw her fist into the air.

I giggled at this. I am now realizing that Undyne is that overly dramatic, action movie enthusiast that just loves it when things blow up. And, I think that's what I find to be her biggest charm, as I was finishing deciphering Undyne, I smiled brightly as I asked, "Is that because you're cheap, Undyne?"

She smirked at me viciously as she said, "YEP! THEY'RE THE CHEEPEST!" As she flexed really hard. "NGAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Me and Carrie looked at Undyne with uneasiness, and she blushed in embarrassment as she said, "Uhh, just put them into the pot."

Deciding to continue along with the insanity of everything, I grabbed the box of noodles, and turned towards Carrie, who simply nodded with a smile on her face, and I just threw the pasta into the pot as hard as I could, box and all. I looked towards Undyne, who threw her fists into the air as she said, "YEAH! I'M INTO IT! Alright! Now it's time to stir the pasta!"

I looked at the pot, realizing that we have no water in said pot, and asked, "Uh, shouldn't we add water to this or…"

But Undyne ignored me as she said, "As a general rule of thumb, the more you stir, THE BETTER IT IS! Ready? Let's do it!"

I shook my head and I said, "Undyne, you're supposed to let the pasta boil, and stir occasionally, and to do that, you need water." But, once more, she ignored me. I mean, I only learned how to make spaghetti using only vegetables recently, and I'm not perfect at it, but I know how to cook it.

Something told me that things were about to get very messy. But, for some reason, I didn't mind it. I mean, here I am, cooking with the same fish monster that had killed me not too long ago, and with a dead princess from a hundred years ago who's also my girlfriend. So, normalcy isn't really present here.

I shook my head, focusing on the task at hand, with all my might, despite what my instincts were telling me to do, I stirred as hard as I could.

As I did so, Undyne kept telling me to stir harder, which, I did, but it seemed like she was getting impatient with me, so she pushed me aside as she said, "Ugh, let me do it!"

Before I even had the chance to react, Carrie pulled me away by my collar and I watched in horror as Undyne started stabbing her pot with her spear. "Uh, Undyne, are you sure that's, safe?" I asked very nervously.

"Fuhuhuhu! That's the stuff!" She exclaimed in joy, completely ignoring my question.

I looked at the now beaten pot and said, "Undyne, I don't think it's safe to cook with this pot anymore."

"Relax, kid. I know what I'm doing." She said with a smile. "Alright, now for the final step: TURN UP THE HEAT!"

I decided that I was going to take the safe route, but before I did so, I once again I turned to Undyne and said, "Undyne, we need to add water to this or else it will cause a fire."

"Psh. No it won't kid. We'll be fine. I've cooked a thousand times, and I've never caused a fire." She responded with a grin, and for some reason, I got the feeling that she was lying.

That was when Carrie scoffed at this and said, "Tch, that's a load of bullshit, Undyne. You've caused seven fires in the first YEAR alone, after I fell down here. And thirty five fires in TOTAL in the FIVE years I lived down here! You caused seven fires PER YEAR! Like HELL you never caused a fire!"

You know, you can tell how much Chara knows Undyne just by listening to her rant, and, it's kinda funny. Like, you can really sense both her annoyance, and the fondness in her memories. "It's got to the point where I was expecting your house to catch on fire every time I came and visited you. Hell, mom knew that she would be seeing me covered in soot and ash by the time I came home from visiting you and already had a bath prepared for me!"

"Now, let the stovetop symbolize your passion! Turning it up higher!" Undyne said with passion burning in her eyes, completely ignoring Carrie.

'Carrie, I think this is going to end in trouble.' I said to Chara, worried about starting a fire in this house.

But Chara sighed in defeat as she said, "Yes, yes it will. Undyne's gonna set her house on fire. AGAIN! She did this the first-time mom let me come over." It looked like Carrie was over with the whole cooking thing already. "Just, just get it over with. The sooner we get this over with, the better."

"YES! Let your hopes and dreams turn into a burning fire! READY?" Undyne asked me, and honestly, I was getting kinda terrified. Undyne seemed more dangerous when she's cooking then when she's fighting. "Don't hold anything back!"

I slowly started to turn up the fire, and watched as it roared to life, once I got it to a gentle flame, however, Undyne wasn't pleased with this as she said, "Hotter!"

Knowing that it was in my best interest to follow her orders at the moment, turned up the heat, but Undyne wasn't satisfied, "HOTTER, DARNIT!"

"If I make it any hotter, I'll cause a fire!" I yelled back at Undyne.

"HOTTER!" Undyne screamed at the top of her lungs.

I then decided that I was done and turned the knob all the way to the right, but by the time I heard Undyne say, "Wait, that's too-" It was too late, and I heard a click, as I accidently pulled the knob off of the stove. The room was engulfed in a bright light.

Chara's POV

When the light died down, everything was on fire, and Frisky was now holding a broken oven knob in her hands. She turned to Undyne and she said, "Uhh, oops." She awkwardly laughed while rubbing her head, then she dropped the knob, which bounced a few times on the now burning floor.

Undyne had the same expression on her face as she said, "Ah. Man, no wonder Papyrus sucks at cooking."

I sighed in defeat as I put my hand on my forehead and turned towards my old teacher and said, "And you wonder why mom never lets you in the kitchen anymore, Undyne."

Undyne smiled nervously as she asked, "So, what's next? Scrapbooking? Friendship bracelets?"

We were silent as I looked at the flaming house. Undyne then kicked a piece of debris as she sadly said, "Oh, who am I kidding? I REALLY screwed this up, didn't I?" She sighed as she once more said, "I can't force you to like me, Frisk."

I could tell that she was really disappointed here, like she really tried her hardest to be Frisky's friend, but it just, went up in flames. Literally. "Some people just don't get along with each other. I understand if you feel that way about me. And if we can't be friends…" She shrugged, almost as if she didn't care, but, I could tell that she really wanted to be friends with my girl as she said, "That's okay. Because, if we're not friends, IT MEANS I CAN DESTROY YOU WITHOUT REGRET!"

Well, that took a turn for the worst. Undyne summoned a spear and initiated a FIGHT with Frisky, and I knew that this was wrong. "Undyne, PLEASE! Don't do this!" I pleaded with my old friend.

Undyne sighed as she said, "I've been defeated, Chara. My house is in shambles, I even FAILED to befriend your girlfriend." She shook her head as she got serious and said, "That's it. I don't care if you're my house guest anymore, Frisk. One final rematch! All out on both sides! IT'S THE ONLY WAY I CAN REGAIN MY LOST PRIDE! NOW COME ON! HIT ME WITH ALL YOU GOT! NGAHHHH!"

It look as if Frisky didn't know what to do. It was obvious that she didn't want to hurt Undyne. It soon looked as if Frisky had a plan. I watched as she cocked her fist back, before charged forward and screamed, "HIYA!" And just before her fist connected, she slowed down before lightly punching Undyne on her leg, and she only took 1 HP from her.

Undyne looked down at her in disbelief as she said, "What."

Frisky pulled her fist away and took a few steps back, unsure of what will happen next. "That's the best you can manage?" Undyne asked in disbelief.

Frisky nodded slowly, as she lowered her fist and looked down to the ground and said, "Yeah, I guess so."

She glanced over towards me as she asked, "Even attacking at full force, you just can't muster any intent to hurt me, huh?"

Frisk shook her head and said, "Sorry, Undyne, but, I'm a pacifist, through and through. I really don't want to hurt anyone. No matter how they may try and hurt me. Even though you asked me to do so, I couldn't bring myself to hurt you."

Undyne closed her lone eye and sighed as she said, "Heh, you know what?" She dropped her spear to the ground, which clattered onto the ground before vanishing. Then she stood tall and said, "I actually don't want to hurt you, either."

Frisky turned to me and I watched as she smiled brightly at me. I couldn't help but to smile back at her. She really is an innocent little flower. Then Undyne said, "At first, I hated your stupid saccharine schtick, but, the way you hit me right now," She glanced over to her right as she said, "it, reminded me a lot of Asriel. Now I know you aren't some wimpy loser."

We both smiled warmly at her, finally able to see the better side to the vicious Undyne. "You're a wimpy loser with a big heart! Just like him." Undyne sighed a bit as she said, "Listen, Frisk. As much as I don't want to admit it, but, it seems that you and Asgore are fated to fight."

She looked down sadly as she said, "But knowing him, he probably doesn't want to. Talk to him. I'm sure you can persuade him to allow you to go home."

I watched as Frisky smiled up at her and said something I wasn't expecting, "But, what if I am already home, Undyne? What if I don't want to leave?"

My eyes widened at this. She would rather live down here then return to the surface? I smiled softly at her because, that was my decision as well. We both had found a home down here.

Undyne smirked at Frisky, before she rubbed her head playfully, then she said, "Little punk. Well, if that's the case, maybe you can convince him to drop the orders of hunting other innocent humans at the very least."

Undyne shrugged as she said, "Eventually, some mean human will fall down here and I'll take THEIR soul instead. That makes sense, right?" She asked halfheartedly.

She then hardened her gaze at Frisky as she said, "Oh, and if you DO hurt Asgore, I'll hunt you down, no matter what part of the Underground you're in and I'll beat the HELL out of you." She then gave her a big toothy grin as she asked, "That's what friends are for, right?"

Frisky smiled warmly at her as she gave her a thumbs up and said, "Undyne, I would NEVER hurt Asgore. But, if it makes you feel and better, if I DO, by any chance, hurt him, then, you have my FULL permission to come after me and pound me into paste. That sound fine?" Of course, I knew that Frisky would NEVER hurt Asgore, if it can't be avoided.

Undyne smirked as she said, "Great! Now, let's get the hell out of this flaming house!"

Me and Frisky smiled as all three of us ran out of Undyne's burning home. "Well, that was fun, huh?" Undyne asked while staring at her burning home.

I shook my head as I asked, "Undyne, why is it that EVERY time I come to visit you, you always end up burning your house down?"

Undyne slapped me on my back, it still confuses me that Undyne is able to even touch me, but, it must be some kind of ghostly corporeal bullshit, or magic. It's always magic down here. Then she said, "Because passion burns brighter when things are up in flames!"

I sighed in slight annoyance as I said, "You know, for an amphibious monster, and someone who HATES Hotland, you have a nasty habit bringing fire into people's houses."

Undyne blushed at this as she said, "Yeah, I guess you got a point there, punk."

We both chuckled at Undyne as Frisky said, "Well, we'll have to hang out again sometime." She then glanced at the burning building as she said, "Just, uh, somewhere else."

Undyne then grabbed Frisky by her shirt and said, "Uh-uh. I'm not done with you yet, punk!"

We looked at Undyne in confusion as Frisky asked, "What are you up too now, Undyne?"

Undyne smirked at her as she said, "It's getting kinda late around here. And I am not going to allow my new BEST FRIEND to walk into Hotland this late at night."

Frisky looked around the Underground and asked, "How can you tell the time of day around here, Undyne? The only place I know that can see the sunlight is that hole in Ruins that I fell down from."

Undyne looked down at her as she said, "Trust me, punk. After living down here for so long, you kinda pick up these things. Now, c'mon, let's get to Paps house!"

I looked towards Undyne nervously as I asked, "Uh, you ARE taking Riverperson's boat? RIGHT? Undyne?"

"Fuhuhu! As IF!" She, then wrapped me and Frisky up under her arms and dashed past the garbage dump, and back up the fallen bridge that she sent us down, and just scaled that thing like it was nothing.

I watched as Undyne rushed all the way back through Waterfall, during this Frisky humorously thought, 'Carrie, I think I've made a terrible life decision in making friends with Undyne.'

I lightly chuckled at this, because those were my thoughts too when we first became friends, as I thought, 'I thought the same thing when I first made friends with her. But, don't worry, she won't hurt you. I hope.'

Frisky gave me a deadpanned expression as she sarcastically thought, 'Oh, WONDERFUL.'

After a few minutes of Undyne dragging, nay, manhandling my and Frisky's sorry asses throughout Waterfall, we were soon seeing snow falling in front of us and realized that we had just traversed all of Waterfall, backwards, in mere minutes. Goddamn it, Undyne!

In no time, we were once more in front of the Skele-Bro's house, this time, under Undyne's arms. Before Undyne knocked, I realized something, "Undyne, WAIT!" I said loudly as I managed to squirm outta her arms.

She turned to me in confusion as she asked, "What's the matter punk?"

I straightened myself out as I said, "Sans and Papyrus don't know about me. And, in all honesty, I would like it to stay that way."

Undyne looked down at me as she realized what that had meant. "So, you don't want these two to know you're here, huh?"

I glanced over to my side, as I said, "We learned from Sans that Paps has possibly been in contact with Flowey. And he's been after Frisky since she fell down here. While I would LIKE Sans and Paps to know I'm here, okay, not really. I don't think it'll be safe if anyone else knew I was here. Does that make any sense?"

Undyne looked right at me as she said, "Yeah, I guess. So, I guess you want to keep this between us, huh?"

I nodded at this and said, "If you please? And only tell them if you either have to, or if they start seeing me as well."

Undyne gave me a big toothy smile as she said, "Sure, punk. If they notice you, I'll explain things, and ask them to keep it private. And if not, I won't say a word. I promise."

I smiled softly at her and said, "Thanks, Undyne, that would be great."

Undyne smirked as she knocked, very loudly, on the skele-bros house. When the door opened, we saw that it was, "Sans!?" Me and Frisky asked at the same time, but only Frisky was heard.

Sans glanced over towards Frisky, then over towards Undyne, before he smiled, well, smiled wider as he said, "heya, 'dyne, howzit goin'?"

Undyne growled under her breath as she said, "Sans, one of these days you and I are going to have a long talk about those 'shortcuts' of yours."

Frisky looked up at Undyne and said, "I've been wondering, what are these, 'shortcuts'?"

Undyne rolled her eyes as she said, "He calls them 'Shortcuts' but in actuality this lazy bas, err…bag of bones just teleports everywhere."

Sans rolled his eyelights as he jokingly said, "hey, don't go ruining my trick, undyne."

Frisky giggled at this as she said, "I had a feeling that you could teleport after seeing how you get from so many places, by going the wrong way, Sans. Especially after you brought me from Waterfall's entrance into Grillby's place, by going deeper into Waterfall."

Sans simply shrugged nonchalantly as he said, "oh well. no big deal. so, i'm guessing by the fact that 'dyne doesn't have yer unconscious body over her shoulders, frisk, means that the two of ya are friends, right?"

Undyne wrapped her arm around Frisky's neck gently as she said, "Yep, this little punk managed to make friends outta me after all."

Frisky smiled warmly as she playfully tried to escape from Undyne's grasp as she said, "Well, it's not that hard for people to like me. Well, for monsters it's easier." She whispered the last words but we still heard her.

Sans nodded at this, completely ignoring Frisky's last words as he said, "yep, you really made paps happy, that's for certain. so, what are you two doing here?"

Undyne awkwardly rubbed the back of her head as she said, "Uh, we kinda, burned down my house. Again."

Sans just sighed as he shook his head and said, "i'm not even surprised at this point." That was weird, Sans didn't make a joke. "welp, guess you want to lighten up your mood now, huh?" Nevermind. "i'm guessing you wanna spend the night here, huh?"

Undyne nodded and said, "Yep! Not going to let my new BEST FRIEND head to Hotland this late at night."

Sans just shrugged and looked towards Frisky and said, "welp, can't let a girl like you go too long without any sleep, c'mon in. you can spend the night on the couch, i hope you don't mind sharing, 'dyne."

Undyne shook her head as she said, "No, not at all. Sure, your couch is, jangly, and lumpy. But, I can see me and the punk here having a good time talking about random junk, or whatever. By the way, where's Papyrus?"

Sans simply waved his hand and said, "paps went out shopping not too long ago, he should be back shortly. why don't you girls come in. make yourselves at home. just don't set it on fire." He said with a wink.

We all laughed at this and entered the bone brothers house, and we, and by we, I mean Frisky and Undyne, sat on the couch, before Frisky sat down, she placed her satchel right next to Sans' pet rock, which she hilariously pet. One thing I noticed after both girls sat down, was that Undyne seemed uncomfortable when she sat down, but not Frisky. Meanwhile, I just floated onto the arm rest right beside Frisky and placed my hand on top of hers and we both smiled at each other. Sans started heading towards his room when he said, "welp, i've got a long day of doing nothin' tomorrow. might as well get some sleep while paps is out."

Before anyone had a chance to tell him anything, he was already in his room. Undyne leaned her head back as she said, "Lazy bastard."

I looked over to Undyne and asked, "Why do you even have Sans as a sentry, Undyne? He's so freaking lazy that he just let Frisky walk past him!"

Undyne sighed as she leaned back into the couch as she rested both her arms of the sofa and said, "It's not my choice, kid. Sans was made sentry by your father. Don't remember the reason, it's all kinda, blurry. There was a time when Sans was more serious, I mean, he always was a bit laid back, and never really into the whole 'capturing and/or killing' humans thing. What I do know is that he kept his brother away from Orange SOUL."

That was when Frisky softly said, "His name was Triston Dinklage."

We both looked down at Frisky, who was looking down at her bag before taking out the Tough Gloves and Manly Bandana, and a sad expression on her face. "Eight kids fell down here, myself and Chara included."

Frisky said with tears building in her eyes. "But, most of, if not ALL of them were just children. Just a bunch of KIDS!" She all but screamed out her last words. She took a few breaths before saying, "How do you think their parents would react after learning that their SOULs were taken, but they didn't get the chance to be remembered for who they were, and instead by what color SOUL they possessed? How would that make YOU feel if you were those parents?"

Undyne looked down at Frisky with a single raised eyebrow, and asked, "What are you talking about, punk?"

"Nathen Malark, Triston Dinklage, Amanda Belrose, Mike Denbrough, Justin Quinn, and Tiana Gray. They all had friends. They all had families. They all had mothers, fathers, possibly even brothers and sisters. Cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents. People who loved them. People who cared for them. I don't like to admit it, but, I hate how you just call them simply by what color SOUL they possess, yet, ignore them as a person."

Me and Undyne were silent as Frisky got serious, like, sadly serious. It was clear that she was upset at this. "Because, in the end, they're still people. Still just a bunch of kids. If you were going to take the SOULs of six human kids to break the barrier, the least you can do is learn their names."

Undyne looked down in sadness as she asked, "Even though one of them killed monsters?"

Frisky sighed in defeat as she said, "I'm not asking you to forgive Triston, or any human in general. In fact, I don't expect you to. All I'm asking is that you remember the names of those who had fallen. Everyone deserves to be remembered. After all, they were just kids. Especially Amanda."

Undyne was silent at this for a while, before she sat up straight and looked down at the ground and said, "I remember hearing about her, it was only brief, but, I had heard her name before. From the first human I ever met."

Carrie looked towards Undyne and asked, "You mean, Tiana, right?"

Undyne shook her head and said, "No. I'm talking about Yellow, I mean, Mike Denbrough. Her adopted brother."

Frisky and I looked in shock at Undyne, but before we were able to ask more, the front door opened up, and a familiar, but loud, voice called out, "SANS? YOU STILL AWAKE? I'M BACK! AND I GOT SPAGHETTIE INGREDIENTS!"

Frisky quickly rubbed her eyes clear of the tears, before she and Undyne turned towards Paps, who was holding a bag of groceries, and Frisky smiled as she said, "Hey, Paps, you just missed Sans. Chances are, he's probably asleep."

Paps looked over towards us and his eyelights sparkled dramatically. "UNDYNE? HUMAN FRISK?"

Frisk and Undyne chuckled at the jovial skeleton, and Undyne said, "Yep, this little brat has actually managed to win me over!" She the wrapped her arm around Frisky, before both of them gave Paps a thumbs up.

Papyrus smiled brightly as he said, "HOHO! I KNEW THAT THE TWO OF YOU WOULD! I GUESS MY BRILLIANT PLAN WORKED AFTER ALL! NYEH HEH HEH!"

I shook my head and said, "Yeah, I guess it did. Bravo Paps, bravo." Even though he couldn't hear me, I couldn't help but give him a nod of approval.

It seemed as if Frisky had a plan cooking, and she asked, "Hey, Paps, do you mind if I cook tonight?"

Undyne looked at Frisky in surprise as she said, "HEY! I thought you cooked at my place?"

Frisky stood up and placed her fists on her hips as she gave Undyne an unimpressed, or slightly annoyed look as she said, "No. YOU cooked in a way that was against all conventional methods that set your house on fire! DESPITE me saying that you were doing things wrong, if you had listened to me, you wouldn't have set your house on fire."

Yikes. I didn't think Frisky would be this straightforward with Undyne, but it was clear that Frisky, despite quote unquote "yelling" at Undyne, that she was only doing so because she deeply cared.

She then straightened herself out as she said, "Besides, everyone here has done so much for me in the past few days that," Frisky took a deep breath before saying, "I want to pay everyone back for their kindness. It means a lot to me, especially after…" Frisky went silent before shaking her head and saying, "Nevermind. So, Paps, can I cook tonight?"

Paps looked down at the obviously shorter human, at least, compared to him, before saying, "HMM, ARE YOU SURE YOU'LL BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS, TINY FRISK?"

Frisky gave Paps a confident nod, as she smiled brightly and said, "Trust me, Paps, I know what I'm doing."

Paps frowned ever so slightly as he said, "I JUST DON'T KNOW IF YOU COULD REACH THE SINK, HUMAN FRISK. IT IS KINDA TALL."

Hearing this, Undyne smiled as she stood up and said, "Tell ya what, Frisk. I'll help you cook. And this time, I'll listen to you. 'Cause I know you won't be able to reach the sink. Sound fine to you?"

Frisky gave her a single nod, then she said, "Fine. But you will listen to EVERYTHING I say. Alright? Because I don't want a SECOND fire in one day."

Paps smiled widely as he said, "WELL, IF YOU TWO ARE GOING TO BE COOKING TOGETHER, I GUESS I CAN ALLOW IT! HERE YOU GO, LITTLE HUMAN FRISK!"

Paps then handed Frisky the bag, and she happily accepted it, but as she did, she said, "Paps, I told you, you can just call me Frisk. We're friends after all, right?" I swear, that smile of hers could illuminate all of the Darkened Cavern all by itself. And of course, when the tall skeleton heard this he practically started dancing.

Undyne laughed at this as she said, "Well then, now that that's taken care of, c'mon, punk!" Then, the three of us entered the kitchen, and Frisky and Undyne put the ingredients on the counter.

Frisky turned to Undyne and she said, "Alright, Undyne, can you lift me to the sink real quick. I need to was my hands."

Undyne smiled brightly as she picked up the small little kid and held her up to the sink. Frisky then proceeded to wash her hands very thoroughly. Then she nodded towards Undyne and said, "Thanks, Undyne."

Undyne gently put her down as the fish lady said, "Hey, what are BESTIES for, Frisk?"

Frisky smiled at Undyne while she dried her hands with a nearby paper towel, then she said, "Alright, Undyne, I'm gonna need you to fill that pot with water until the water reached the screws, okay."

Undyne smiled as she went to do just that, but before she could do it her way, Frisky said in a clear voice, "Carefully." Frisky said with emphasis on the word. "I've seen how reckless you are. And I know that you will try to do things as eccentric as possible. But, as your friend, I'm asking you, fill it up carefully."

I watched as Undyne turned to Frisky, who was taking out the stuff that Paps had just brought home, and it seemed to be a lot of vegetables. She then laid out all the vegetables before taking out a sharp looking knife, and she took a deep breath, then she placed on the counter, then she went and grabbed a deep dish frying pan, Undyne placed her hands on her hips as she asked, "Why can't we just do what we did before, punk?"

Frisky placed the pan on the stove as she said, "Because, to actually cook, you have to be precise, and careful. And to be careful, you have to take things slow."

"How's going slow a way to show your passion when you cook?" Undyne asked in slight annoyance.

Frisky smiled softly as she proceeded to carefully prepared the vegetables and began chopping them up, with what seemed to be, precise precision, as she said, "There's more than one way to show passion when you cook, Undyne. Not everything has to be done like you're in an action movie."

I then heard Frisky's thoughts as she told me, 'Dear, can you make sure that Undyne does things nice and slow, please?'

I nodded and said, "Sure thing, Frisky. Leave it to me!" I then turned to Undyne and said, "C'mon, Undyne, Frisk seems to know what she's doing. I think it would be wise if we just follow her lead."

At first, Undyne looked like she was going to argue with Frisky, but, then she shook her head and smiled softly as she said, "Never depicted you to be someone who can give orders to people bigger than you, kid." But, she did as she was ordered, and filled the pot with water until it reached the screws. And when I noticed that, I let Undyne know.

Frisky shrugged her shoulders as she said, "When it comes to cooking, I take it very seriously. Now, if you're done filling up the pot, you can put it right on the stove, I'm getting the veggies ready. And, please be careful. We DON'T want any messes."

Undyne rolled her eyes as she carefully placed the pot on the stove top as she said, "I still don't understand, you say that you cook with passion, yet, there's no flames that reach the ceiling. Where's the passion?"

Frisky turned to add vegetable oil to the water pot, before letting it mix in with the water, then after the water started to bubble, as she said, "Not all passion comes from cooking as dramatic as possible. You wouldn't play your piano as fast as possible, would you?"

Undyne turned to her and scoffed with her arms folded and said, "Of course not!"

To which Frisky asked, "And why's that?"

"Because music is an art that cannot be rushed!" Undyne stated with a fire in her eye and her fist thrown into the air.

To which Frisky smiled warmly at this as she remarked, "The same thing could be said about cooking, Undyne."

Undyne blinked a few times as she said, "You serious, kid? Cooking is a form of art?" Even I was kinda confused at this. Probably because I was rarely ever let anywhere near the kitchen by myself after my, attempt.

And the last time I ever cooked anything, I almost killed dad. Stupid Buttercups. How could I make that mistake? Using butter cups instead of cups of butter. How stupid could I be?

Frisky then started the fire on both piolets and began stirring the vegetables as the water started to boil. Then she said, "Cooking, to some humans, is a form of art. You couldn't imagine how many cooking shows there are on the surface. Some are just your standard, how to cook this and that, but there are shows that teach you how to make beautiful things."

I was shocked at what I was hearing, and honestly, so was Undyne, I knew that Frisky had a love for puzzles, and puns, but I was starting to see more and more about her, she also had a massive passion for cooking as well. Or, at the very least, she had a great big love for it. Then she continued on her little speech.

"Like triple layer chocolate cakes," Okay, she had my attention at chocolate. "and other beautiful masterpieces. Cooking can be more than just a way to make something delicious to eat. It can also be a way to make something that is both edible, and beautiful. But, to make it as beautiful as it can possibly be, you have to patient with it. You NEED take your time with it. If you rush it, you could make a mistake, or ruin your creation." Frisky said as she continued to stir the sauce then pasta.

Undyne seemed to be speechless at this, then she said, "Jeeze, kid, you sounded like Alphys when she starts talking about anime. You could've just said that it was important and left it at that. I didn't need an entire speech."

Frisky blushed at this as she said, "Sorry, I just wanted to show that there was more than one way to show passion when you cook."

Undyne rubbed Frisky's head as she said, "I get it, punk. It's nice to be passionate about things. I mean, Alphys is very passionate about her anime and science cra…I mean, science junk."

Frisky turned to Undyne and asked, "Hey, can you stir this for me for a moment, Undyne? I'm going to be adding the seasoning now."

Undyne grinned as she said, "Sure thing, punk!"

Undyne went to stir the vegetables, most likely as hard and fast as possible, but before Frisky even let her stir, she pointed a large wooden spoon at Undyne and said, in a very serious voice, "SLOWLY, Undyne. You want to keep the veggies INSIDE the pan at all times. Don't think of it as a criminal you can beat up with all your might. Instead, think of them more as, someone close to you, a dear friend who needs a gentle hand for support."

Undyne was silent for a while, before she slowly started to stir the veggies, then she asked, "Like this, punk?"

Frisky turned towards Undyne and saw her stirring as she had instructed and smiled softly as she said, "Yes, just like that, Undyne. Keep it up and we'll have this done in no time!"

Undyne seemed a little, uneasy at this, and I could understand why. "You know something, punk." Frisky glanced over to Undyne as she started to add the seasoning, and Undyne continued, "I'm used to taking orders from Asgore, as well as my superiors back when I first joined the Royal Guard, but NEVER had I taken orders from a kid. Especially one as wimpy as you. If you weren't my friend, I'd have pounded you into a pancake, you know that, right?"

Frisky lightly chuckled at this as she said, "Oh, I know this isn't something you find, exciting, Undyne. I've already figured out what kind of person you are."

Undyne looked at Frisky in surprise as she asked, "Oh, really? Well, punk. Tell me what kind of person I am, then." It seemed like she was interested in what Frisky thought of her as.

And, truth be told, I was curious as well. Then Frisky simply said, "You're over eccentric, and extremely dramatic. You're an action movie enthusiast that just loves it when things blow up or end up in flames. Chances are, you're probably someone who likes mindless destruction. But, you also have a good sense of justice and wouldn't do things against your own morals, unless you ABSOLUTELY had to."

Undyne smiled brightly as she said, "Yeah, that sounds like me, alright."

Then Frisky lightly elbowed Undyne as she playfully said, "But your cooking skills are atrocious."

"OI!" Undyne said, only slightly insulted. But she smiled brightly, then she said, "And you're little miss perfect, aren't you?"

Frisky frowned as she shook her head as she said, "No, I'm far from perfect. In fact, I'm a coward."

Me and Undyne frown at this response as Undyne asked, "Coward? Yeah, right. And Sans is a professional athlete. You have more guts then most of the new recruits in the Royal Guard. Not many of them are willing to fight me when I'm serious, and half of the professionals can only swear at me when their drunk. The other half are to terrified of me." Undyne said as she lightly stirred the pasta gently. "How are you a coward, Frisk?"

Frisky sighed as she said, "Because, I couldn't stand the way the humans on the surface treated me. Both because I was a monster sympathizer and, because I'm a lesbian."

Undyne's lone eye widened at this as she asked, "Really? You mean to tell me that they were, homophobic, kid?"

Frisky nodded sadly as she nodded, rubbing her eyes to hide the tears that we all already saw. "Yeah. My matron, the person who was like an older sister to me, well, when I came out to her, she flipped her lid. Soon, my whole village knew, and they treated me like I was less than garbage. And I ran away. I packed what I needed, and I ran. THAT'S why I'm a coward, Undyne."

It was quiet for quite some time, before Frisky rubbed her eyes and before Undyne could even say anything, Frisky said, "Well, c'mon. Now's not the time for the past. Let's get back to cooking."

Undyne nodded, though I could tell that she knew she hit a sore spot with my girl, but soon, Frisky began humming a tune that I didn't recognized, and in a matter of a few minutes, Frisky, in a more cheerful tune, said, "Okay, Undyne, now I want you to add the noodles, as gently and let them simmer for a while, and make sure you stir every once-in-a-while." She then took out the pans lid and covered the vegetables.

"Paps told me that you were good at puzzles and you also know how to cook. Is there anything you CAN'T do, punk?" Undyne asked looking at Frisky with a curious glance.

Frisky nodded as she said, "Well, considering I'm almost twelve, there's plenty I don't know, first of all, I can only do basic math, also, I only know how to cook spaghetti, both with and without meat. I can read and write, obviously. But, that's just about it. I also HATE human history, mostly because of how my village always depicted the monsters as mindless brutes during the war. So history was something I never really enjoyed."

Undyne seemed genially then said, "Huh, well, at least you're honest with that."

It was only ten minutes later that supper was done, and Undyne helped Frisky strain the noodles, and she was now looking at what she and Frisky had cooked. Undyne put her hands on her hips as she said, "I have to say punk, this does look better than anything I can cook."

I couldn't help but jibe at her in a friendly manner. "Maybe that's because everything you cook is always either burnt, or up in flames!"

I watched as Undyne's eye twitched rapidly, as she then slapped me in the head, HARD. But it didn't hurt all that much, if at all. "Heh. Worth it."

Undyne lightly growled as she said, "Smartass." And I responded by sticking my tongue out at her, which she responded by trying to punch me again, but I floated under her arm and hid behind Frisky.

"Girls, girls, no fighting in the kitchen." Frisky reprimanded us, sounding a lot like mom for a single moment. Sounding both stern, and playful all at the same time, in a way, it reminded me a lot of mom.

Both me and Undyne actually blushed in embarrassment and we rubbed our heads as we said, "Sorry."

Frisky giggled as she said, "It's alright, girls. C'mon, let's get back to work." And with that, we worked together to finish up our work in the kitchen, which, wasn't really all that much. Just stirring the vegetables while the pasta finished boiling.

Ten minutes later, supper was done, Undyne looked towards Frisky and said, "Well, I have to say, not bad, for a brat. This actually looks delicious."

That was when the loud skeleton entered the kitchen and asked, "IS THE FOOD READY?"

Frisky nodded with a bright smile as she said, "Yep! Dinner is served! Is Sans still asleep?"

Paps nodded and said, "YES, LITTLE FRISK SHALL I GET HIM?"

Frisky shook her head and said, "No need, Paps. I'll do it." She then headed for Sans' room, with me close behind her.

Once we were in front of Sans' room, Frisky knocked, a bit loudly, and after a few seconds, Sans opened the door lightly and he asked, "heya, kid. what's up?"

Frisky smiled a one million watt smile as she said, "Just wondering if you wanted to eat?" Sans' eyelights looked to the side nervously, then Frisky laughed and said, "Relax, Sans. While Undyne DID help, it was me who did the actually cooking. And I made sure Undyne followed my directions. C'mon, I think you might like it."

Sans shook his head and shrugged, "eh, why not? how bad can it be?"

Frisky folded her arms and pouted slightly as she said, "C'mon, Sans. I know Paps and Undyne aren't the best cooks, but have SOME faith in ME, at least. I may be a kid, but I at least know how to make spaghetti."

Sans chuckled as he left his room and rubbed Frisky's head as he said, "hey, i'm just joking wit ya, kid. welp, c'mon. let's see whatchya cooked up."

And so, with the pun telling skeleton in tow, we returned to the kitchen, where Undyne and Paps were still there, waiting for us. Frisky looked at her two friends and asked, "Uh, what are you two doing?"

Undyne glanced over at Sans and said, "We kinda wanted to wait for you to come back with Sans, so we can all eat. You know, you WERE the one who did all the work, Frisk."

Frisky blushed in embarrassment as she said, "Well, you helped, Undyne."

"BAH!" Undyne replied with a large smile as she said, "You did all the work. I just listened to what you told me to do."

Frisky's blush deepened as she said, "Well? How about we eat up?"

Everyone nodded, then Sans said, "well, i say. it actually looks good, kiddo."

Undyne rolled her eyes as she said, "Hey, I helped too."

Frisky, seeing that these two could end up butting heads, calmly said, "Alright, you two! That's enough! Can we have a nice, family dinner, please?"

"FAMILY DINNER?" We all asked at once in surprise.

Undyne look at Frisky in surprise as she said, "You, think of us as family?"

Frisky looked down and blushed in embarrassment. "Ye-yeah. I-is th-that weird?" Frisky stuttered out.

Undyne smirked as she gave Frisky a playful noogie and said, "Nay. I mean, Princess Chara was practically adopted into the Kings family the moment she fell down here." Her lone eye darted to me, and I nodded at her. "So, if you think the Underground is your new home, and you think of us as family, then so be it."

Papyrus nodded enthusiastically as he said, "THAT'S RIGHT, FRISK! WE'RE ALL FRIENDS HERE! SO WHY CAN'T WE BE A FAMILY?" Holy crap! That was the first time that Paps only called Frisky, just Frisk.

Frisky rubbed the tears from her eyes and looked towards Sans, he didn't say anything, he simply smiled, before nodding. And that's all she needed, Frisky smiled widely as she said, "Everyone, thank you." She sniffled once, then she said, "Well, how about we have a nice family meal now?"

I watched as everyone nodded and the Monsters started to make their plates before moving into the living room, as Sans was making his plate, he turned to Frisky and said, "normally, i'd eat at grillby's. but something tells me that i might actually enjoy this. welp, c'mon, the 'family's' awaiting."

Frisky smiled at Sans as she started to make her plate and said, "Sans, thanks again, for letting me spend the night here."

Sans waved his hand and said, "hey, snow worries, kid." Frisky giggled at this while I groaned. C'mon, Sans, really? "i mean, not only are ya a great kid, but ya seem to be able to bring people together. not bad, for a kid."

Frisky smiled as she started to make her plate and said, "Well, c'mon, let's get to the others." And with that, we all made our way back into the living room, and we saw that Paps and Undyne were sitting on the couch, with just enough space, for Sans and Frisk.

Sans gently elbowed Frisky and said, "well? c'mon. let's go enjoy the food ya've made."

Undyne smiled her toothy grin and said, "C'mon on, punks! We saved you some space!"

Frisky and Sans looked at one another, before both chuckled and carefully got up onto the couch. Then Frisky smiled at her friends, before going to take a bite out of her food, then she glanced over to her new monster family, and asked, "Well, how's the food?"

Sans looked a little, hesitant, most likely from all the times Paps and Undyne had made food, even Undyne looked a little uncertain about the food. But Paps? He dug right into the food.

"WOWIE! FRISK! THIS SPAGHETTI IS DIVINE! HOW'D YOU DO IT?" The loud, jovial skeleton asked Frisky.

After that, Undyne took a bite and said, "HOLY SHI-" She glanced at Sans, and we all saw a flash of blue in his left eye. Guess he's got some magic in him after all. "Er, I mean, holy guacamole! I helped make this and even I'M impressed!" Guess Sans is not going to allow anyone to swear in front of his brother. Kinda creepy, if you ask me.

But judging from the color of his eye, his magic is most likely a Patience kind of magic. Now I'm curious as to why he… actually, perhaps his magic is spacial type of magic. I think I remember that was kind of Wing Dings gimmick. I mean, spacial magic is amongst the hardest kind of magic to learn.

If I remember correctly, Dr. Wing Dings had once said that what makes spacial magic so hard to learn, and even harder to master is that one had to have a fine understanding of quantum physics. Maybe that's why Sans has that book about quantum physics.

Sans, seeing the joy in his younger brother's eyelights, decided to "bite the bullet" as it were, me and Frisky watched as Sans slowly took a bite and his eyelights vanished and he froze in place. We were kinda surprised at this, then he chuckled and said, "heh. gotta say, kid. this is actually pretty good. how do you know how to make this?"

Frisky took a bite of her spaghetti, before smiling as she said, "I learned how to make spaghetti back in the orphanage."

Hearing this Sans put down his fork and asked, "kiddo, you were raised in an orphanage?" I could feel the uncomfortableness in the wide skeleton's voice as he asked this.

Frisky nodded, and instead of being sad, she was smiling softly, almost as if she was starting to overcome all the pain from her past. Then she softly said, "Yeah, but, it wasn't because I was abandoned. Both my parents died the night I was born. So, I never got to know them." She took a bite outta her food, smiling softly at what I can only guess is the flavor, and truthfully, my own mouth watered, I guess I was a little jealous. The last thing I had eaten was that ghost sandwich.

But, before my own envy about eating food could develop into something, Frisky looked up at the ceiling and said, "The first ten or so years were fine, there were a few kids I knew, not really close to them or anything. The only person I was relatively close to was the orphanage's matron, Briana."

And here we go. "Briana was the closest thing I had to a big sister. Back then I could tell her everything, from how my day went to how I was feeling. But, despite how nice and kind my village seemed to be, it seemed to hide a dark secret that I wasn't aware of."

Undyne already knew what was coming, and it seemed that Sans was beginning to understand as well, or at the very least, he looked as if he knew that whatever Frisky was gonna say next was going to be big. But Paps? The big lug was happily oblivious as to what was next. "AND WHAT DARK SECRET WOULD THAT BE, FRISK?" There it was again. Paps had stopped calling Frisk 'Human Frisk.'

Frisky shook her head, "Not now. Let's enjoy the meal before getting into my past. Please?"

Sans nodded as he said, "i agree, why let good food go to waste? gotta say, girls, ya did good here tonight."

Frisky blushed in embarrassment as she continued eating her food. I floated up next to her and rested my hand on her shoulder and said, "Frisky." She glanced over to me, letting me know that she was listening, so I said, "Frisky, dear, are you sure you want the skele-bro's to know?"

While she didn't nod, she did think to me, 'Yeah, I do. I know what you're thinking, hun. After how I reacted the last time I brought up my past I broke down. But, I think I can get through with it.' She then continued eating.

I saw that Undyne had her one eye locked on me, before focusing back onto Frisk, and seeing how it's getting a little quite, she said, "So, punk. I heard from the residents of Waterfall that you put on a killer performance with Shyren. Is that true?"

I watched as Frisky turned away in embarrassment as she nodded and said, "I just wanted to help boost Shy's confidence, and it somehow turned into a full blown concert. Ask Sans, he was there."

Everyone turned to Sans who was enjoying his spaghetti, then he shrugged and said, "it was pretty good. really lively, if i say so. shy really looked happy. nice one, kiddo. not to mention, you've got a nice singing voice."

Frisky blushed a deep scarlet as she said, "Thanks Sans." Then she had a lightbulb appear over her head as she said, "Oh, by the way, how'd you know I'd be at the Temmie Village when I'd read your note? I could have been anywhere, so, how'd you know I would have been at Temmie Village?"

Sans simply shrugged as he said, "eh, lucky guess. the temmie village was the safest place for you to relax, plus everyone down here knows how human friendly they are."

Frisky chuckled at this as she said, "Yeah, I know, after talking to Bob, I got dog piled by like, twenty of them."

Everyone looked at Frisky in shock as Undyne asked, "How the hell did you get Bob to allow THAT!? From last I heard, he swore that he wouldn't allow another human to get too close to another human."

I chuckled as Frisky giggled and said, "Well, it took a while, but it all started by me talking to Bob, Gerson told me about what happened to Justin, but it was Bob who revealed just WHAT happened, and I saw how depressed he was. And you know me, I can't walk two steps without making a monsters day, after all." She then flashed a bright smile, and everyone laughed at this.

"yep, that sounds like you, alright, kiddo." Sans said while enjoying his plate of spaghetti.

It wasn't that long until everyone had finished their plates, be it with Sans and Frisky trading a few puns with each other, and while Paps was annoyed at the puns, it was clear he only let it slide because it was making Frisky happy, but soon after everyone returned their plates back to the sink, we all conjugated back into the living room, but quickly the tension changed.

Frisky wasn't smiling anymore, and instead, she said, "Paps." The tall skeleton looked towards Frisky as she asked, "You wanted to know what dark secret was in my town, right?"

Paps, the ever loving doofus that he was, nodded excitedly. While Sans and Undyne were a little, unnerved as to what was about to be spoken. But they didn't say anything.

So, after taking a deep breath, Frisk looked deep into the eyesockets of Papyrus, and said, "Well, up above, back in my village, it seems like a peaceful place, despite how they view the war. But, while they kept talking down about monsters, and wanting to learn more about the Monsters as a whole was greatly frowned upon, but, that wasn't what I was talking about earlier."

"THEN, WHAT WAS IT, YOUNG FRISK?" The loud skeleton asked Frisky.

Frisky pulled at her shirt nervously as she asked, "Do you know what it means if a girl is a lesbian, Paps?"

Paps, seeing how uncomfortable Frisky was, seemed to be able to pick it up and said, "YES, AS A MATTER A FACT, I DO. THERE IS A LARGE LGBTQ COMMUNITY DOWN HERE, FRISK."

Frisky sighed in relief, as it was clear that she didn't want to explain sexuality completely. That was when she said, "Well, it's not the same situation back in my village. They're, well, er, I'm not sure how to word it right."

That was when Undyne simply said, "They're homophobic, Paps." We all looked at Undyne in surprise as she said, "It means they're prejudice against same gender relationships."

Paps seemed surprised at this as he asked, "WHAT? BUT WHY WOULD THEY? THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT GENDER YOU ARE ATTRACTED TOWARDS. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO IT IS, JUST AS LONG AS YOU LOVE THEM, RIGHT?"

Me and Frisky shared a little glance, and smiled at each other as she said, "That may be true, Paps. But, that is only for you monsters. You guys can accept any kind of person who comes here." It was then that I sensed that she was thinking about Flowey and she said, "Well, with a very few exceptions. But with humans, some of us can be very, simple minded. THAT'S why I came down here in the first place. I basically was chased out of my home."

Pap's eyelights seemed to brighten in surprise, as he asked, "YOU MEAN YOU'RE…"

Frisky looked down and said, "Am a lesbian, yeah, sorry if I accidently led you on before Paps. I've been told that my flirtatious personality would get the better of me one day. But don't get me wrong, you're a great guy, Paps. And, truth be told, if I wasn't into girls, I surely wouldn't mind dating you." She then flashed him a wink and smile combo, which almost knocked him out.

We all laughed at this, and Sans said, "well, kiddo, seems like you went through a lot, huh?"

Frisky nodded animatedly as she said, "Yeah, and if it wasn't for… a friend I had met while I was down here, I probably would never have left the Ruins."

"ANOTHER FRIEND? WHO ARE THEY? AND WHY HAVEN'T YOU INTRODUCED ME TO THEM?" Paps asked surprised at hearing about this "new" friend.

Frisky glanced over towards me and I was still nervous about being acknowledged, but she turned back to Paps and said, "She's, uh, not a huge fan of crowds, Paps. Believe me, she would like to meet you guys, but, she's uh…" It seemed that Frisky was having a hard time explaining me, without revealing my presence.

Luckily, Undyne came to the rescue. "She's been living in the Ruins for quite some time that she's kinda became a bit of a recluse. She's not the biggest fan of meeting new people either. But don't worry, Paps. I've got a feeling that one day you'll be able to meet her."

"does this friend have a name, at the very least?" Sans asked lazily while reading a joke book.

Frisky glanced over at me and thought, 'Is it alright if I tell them you name, Carrie?'

I nodded and said, "Yeah, but use that nickname you have for me. Calling me by Chara would almost be a DEAD giveaway." I then realized that I had made a joke and swore. "FUCK!" Undyne looked at me and gave me a knowing smile, and I returned her smile by flipping her off. I think mom is still pissed at her for teaching me about that.

Anyways, Frisky turned towards the pudgy skeleton and said, "Her name is Carrie. She helped me when I needed it and gave me the strength to leave the Ruins. YAWN." Frisky then gave off a loud yawn and covered her mouth in embarrassment then she said, "Oh, I guess I'm getting tired."

Paps yawned as well, "I AGREE. FRISK, YOU WILL BE HEADING OFF INTO HOTLAND TOMORROW, ARE YOU NOT?"

Frisky sleepily nodded and said, "Yeah, that's the plan. Can't get to Asgore any other way."

That was when Sans asked, "what are you going to do when you meet asgore, kid?"

Frisky smiled brightly as she said, "I'm going to try to convince him to let me stay here."

Both of the skeleton brothers were taken back by this, and Sans asked, "what asked about going home?"

Frisky chuckled and said, "That's the thing, Sans. I am home. I have made more friends in three days down here, than I have in the past eleven years of living on the surface. I mean, look at Undyne, a few hours ago she was chasing me throughout Waterfall with a very obvious intent to rip my SOUL out, and now? We're practically besties!"

Undyne smirked at this and grabbed her by her neck and proceeded to noogie her while loudly saying, "AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT, PUNK! NGAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

We all laughed at this interaction, while Frisky playfully tried to fight out of Undyne's grasp. Then Sans said, "well, c'mon paps, let's get you to bed. frisk, you want a blanket or something?"

Frisky nodded and said, "I'd like a blanket very much, thank you Sans."

Sans nodded then he said, "okay, once I put paps to bed i'll bring you one. c'mon bro."

And with that, the two brothers quickly headed upstairs, but before Paps went into his room, he cheerfully said, "GOODNIGHT FRISK, UNDYNE! SEE YOU BOTH TOMORROW!"

Both girls waved at him and said, "Goodnight Paps!"

And with that, the skeleton brothers vanished into Paps room. Shortly afterwards, Frisky took out her phone and started dialing moms number, when Undyne asked, "Hey, who you calling punk?"

Frisky smiled sadly as she said, "Toriel. Even though she hasn't called me since we left, I at least want to say goodnight to her." She quickly put the phone to her ear and waited for the voicemail to finish playing, then she said, "Hey, mom. How are you doing? I've managed to make it through Waterfall and managed to befriend Undyne while I was at it. We're currently spending the night at a friends house until I can procced through Hotland tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know how I've been doing since I left. Well, goodnight, mom. Hope to see you soon. Bye."

After that, she put her phone onto the table, right next to her satchel before returning to the couch. After she returned to her spot, Undyne asked, "So, punk, has Toriel ever called you back since you left?"

Frisky shook her head. "No. I left her a message while we were still in Waterfall, but, she hasn't called back since we left." Frisky looked down and sighed. "I'm sure she's worried about me. But she's probably been very busy."

Undyne was silent for a while after hearing that, that was when Sans appeared from outta nowhere holding two blankets in his arms. "heya."

This spooked all three of us as we all jumped in surprise and stared at Sans, who had that permanent grin plastered on his face, but I could have sworn that it seemed bigger than normal. Undyne growled as she tried to punch Sans in the face, but he dodged it rather quickly. "hey, what's the matter?"

Undyne growled as she said, "What have I told you about using those shortcuts to sneak up on me, Sans? One of these days it's going to get you killed."

Sans shrugged it off then he held up two blankets and said, "sorry, would you like your blankets?"

Undyne grabbed both of them at insane speeds, then she said, "Next time you do something like that, I'm burying you under as many of my spears as possible."

Sans waved this off as he headed back up the stairs and towards his room. "well, have a goodnight, girls. see you tomorrow." And with that, he was gone.

Undyne handed Frisky her blanket as they both got underneath them, Frisky, the cuddle bug that she was, lifted the blanket and I smiled softly at her and we were both underneath the blanket, and she wrapped her arms around my waist.

Undyne looked at the two of us and smiled playfully as she said, "Okay, you two look adorable like that."

Frisky blushed deeply and tried to hide her face in my shoulders, I threw my arm around her and said, "Yeah, she's a bit of a cuddle bug, isn't she?" Frisky blushed deeply at this, before hiding herself in the blanket.

Undyne looked down at Frisky before standing up and heading for the door. "Hey, where you going Undyne?" I asked my former teacher.

Undyne waved me off and said, "I just remembered I had to do something. Don't worry, I'll be back later tonight."

I was uncertain about this, but, seeing how I couldn't follow after her, I said, "Just be careful, Undyne." She gave me a thumbs up before leaving. I looked down at Frisky, and noticed that she was already passed out, I shook my head before kissing her on her forehead and softly saying, "Sleep tight, Frisky. For something tells me that tomorrow's going to be eventful." And with that, I pulled the blanket up against myself before closing my eyes and entering the realm of sleep myself.

Thechaosmaster: And here we have it. The long awaited next chapter for Undertale: Fates Intertwined!

Red: This chapter seemed quite tame compared to your other chapters.

Chaos: Yeah, that may be true, but in all honestly, I think that is what makes it stand out compared to my other chapters.

Red: That cooking segment at the bone brothers house seemed interesting as well.

Chaos: Yeah, I actually had to look up how to cook spaghetti using veggies. THAT is how much I wanted to do right by this chapter. True, I didn't go into much detail, because first of all, I'm not a chef. And second, I didn't want to go into detail with it.

Red: I thought the interactions between Chara and Undyne were pretty good.

Chaos: Yeah, I did too. Now, here's the 1,000,000G question that everyone is asking. "Who is allowed to see Chara and why?" Well, I don't have a solid answer, but the most basic one I can give is this. Only those who have the strongest ties to Chara can see and hear her.

Red: What do you mean by that?

Chaos: Basically, those who knew her very closely would be able to see her. Hence why Undyne and Gerson could see and hear her. And of course, ghosts or those who were former ghosts can see her.

Red: But, what about Toriel?

Chaos: Ah, she was a product of early writing for me. But, I have been thinking about it recently, and the answer I can think of is that she's been buried beneath her grief for many years, that she has probably seen the "ghosts" of her children before and probably thought Chara was just another memory coming back to haunt her.

Red: Well, before we lose time, why not get to the Reviews, boss?

Chaos: Ah, yes. Let us do so.

Terias: I'm proud you found it to be interesting. It took me over a year to write, so if it wasn't up to peoples standards, than I don't think I'd be happy with it. Also, you question regarding the Fan made Royal Guard member Red? I have read her name in fanfics before, but I just didn't know her story.

Now, I have played the game she's in, and I really enjoyed it. But, regards to her not making it because she's not cannon to the GAME itself, well. May I direct your attention back to Core!Frisk.

They're another character not really cannon to the series but is instead a fan made AU version of our Frisk. But, I still find ways to add her into my story. Red's gonna make it. And trust me, I'll make them work.

Kamorek: Welcome back friend. Glad to see you have made it. Glad to see you love the Charisk. as well as Gerson being serious and "Angry fish lady" I like adding details like these, even if they're really just small details.

By the way, I have been wondering this since I joined this community, but, can you explain why we, of the Charisk community call ourselves Charisk trash? Because, if I'm going to be calling myself trash, I would like to know the reasons. Lol.

Halloween Witch: Heya, Witch. Glad you really enjoyed the massive chapter last time. And yep, an entire year is how long I wasted writing one chapter. I was really filled with DETERMINATION to finish it. And I'm happy to hear that it wasn't that noticeable. When it comes to writing, I can be a bit of a perfectionist from time to time.

And I really loved the Shyren concert myself. one of my most favorite scenes in the entire chapter. And, yeah, the loss of her sis really did lead her to be more shy and timid nature. And Gerson, he's a favorite character of mine.

I'm glad you enjoyed him. And yeah, the Temmie backstory broke my heart writing it. Backstories tend to be a specialty of mine. Give me a random no named character with a smidgen of a backstory, and I can create an entire life story about them. It might take me a few days, but I can do so.

And yeah, Chara's plan, while having good intentions, created more problems than it solved. She didn't mean to throw the whole Underground into chaos, remember, she's still a kid. She didn't think the plan through.

And the Azzie segment, what I enjoyed about that was how, as I bet you have noticed, there was no closer between the two of them. That was intentional.

And Undyne's iconic chase scene. You probably already know this but, Undyne's one of my most favorite characters in the entire game. I always saw her as a desperate, yet honorable warrior. Willing to throw everything to the wind for even a CHANCE at freedom, even if she ends up hating herself afterwards.

Ah, Gaster. I wanted him to at least interact with the girls once in this story. And while the obvious choice would have been in the Mystery Door in Waterfall, that didn't go as planned. And as the one who informed the girls about the power of RESET, that role was going to go to Core!Frisk, and I even started writing that moment, but it kinda got way off track way to quickly, so I decided against it.

And, honestly, I think Gaster works better. Note, Gaster was only there for that one moment. Call it, a doctors checkup, as it were. He was just there to make sure that the girls understood the SAVE LOAD RESET powers, and not misuse them, as Flowey has done.

And I myself am excited to see what kind of twists and turns I can take in this story. I go with the flow. And just allow myself to get lost in the story.

Well, I think that's everything for now. I hope this chapter was up to everyone's standards. There was more I wanted to do, but I decided against it. Now, about Undyne knowing Flowey, well, how she is aware of him, well, I can't really say until the time is right. Trust me, that surprise will take everyone by surprise. Welp, goodnight everyone, I'm dead tired, and want to close my eyes for a while. Sssssooooo…

CHAOS CONTROL!
