I do not own anything from Star Wars or Pokemon At all. Only things I do own are the Poke Republic, the made up Clone legions and Master Bertrand. If you want to know what happened beforehand, read Star Wars Pokemon Rebels. It's one of my personal favorites, happy reading.

Viceroy Gunray escapes! En route to Coruscant to stand trial for war crimes, evil Separatist leader Nute Gunray has broken free of his Jedi escort. With the help of Count Dooku's sinister agents, the villainous Viceroy has made a daring getaway. Alerted to the bold prison break, Jedi Master Kit Fisto has traced the stolen ship to a remote system, hoping to recapture Gunray and return him to justice...

In his Jedi Starfighter, Kit Fisto heard his astromech droid, R6-H5, make beeps and sounds that said, "We're in the middle of nowhere." he chuckled and said, "I know we're in the middle of nowhere, R6, but that's the republic beacon we're looking for. Contact the Outer Rim Command." R6 did as she was told and contacted Outer Rim Command. That was when holograms of Luminara Unduli, AHsoka Tano, and May Kirtman appeared. Kit Fisto said, "Master Luminara, I have tracked the location of our stolen ship to the Vassek System."

"So has My brother Max and your old Padawan Nahdar Vebb. they're already on the surface." May said to the Nautolan Jedi Master. Fisto smiled and said, "It'll be great to see Nahdar again, and your brother too Master May. I hear he's like his master." May smiled as Ahsoka said, "I'll transmit the coordinates to the rendezvous point. And Master Fisto, sorry we lost that slimy double-dealer." Fisto looked at the Padawan and said, "Don't worry Ahsoka, we'll catch Gunray yet." She smiled and told him good hunting before bowing and the transmission ended.

Piloting his fighter onto the surface after detaching from the Hyperspace ring, Fisto got out of the cockpit while R6 said in droid, "I can't see anything." Fisto replied, "Well, I can't see anything either. You'll be fine R6. Just keep a lookout for me, okay?" He then walked over to a hooded Jedi, clones, Max, and Commander Grant while they stood near a Nu-class attack shuttle. After laughing a bit, Fisto said, "Nahdar!" The hooded Jedi looked at Fitso and bowed as Fisto said, "Congratulations on passing the trials. I'm sorry the war prevented me from seeing your training through to the end.

"You were missed, master, but it is an honor to finally serve beside you as a knight." Said the hooded Jedi as he removed his hood and revealed a Mon Calamarian. Fisto also greeted Max and Grant when he said, "and Max, good to see you here." Max nodded his head when a Clone Commander, CC-3714 "Fil" got their attention and he said, "General, we've pinpointed the tracking beacon's location to the south end of the gorge." That was when Fisto said, "Then let's have a look."

"Allow me to show the way." Nahdar said before turning around, dropping his cloak and using the force to push the fog away, revealing a large door. Max whistles as Grant said, "so this is his place." Max nodded his head as Fisto said, "Charming." to Nahdar before saying, "Let's not keep the Viceroy waiting." as they walked to the door, Commander Fil looked at two clones and said, "Niner, Bel, look after the ships." the clones he was speaking to said, "Yes sir." and stayed behind.

Arriving at the door, Fisto said, "No guards? That's odd." Nahdar said that the entrance looked sealed. Commander Fil pulled out a thermal detonator after saying that they specialized in making entrances. Nahdar activated his lightsaber and said it was quieter. But Max simply pushed a stone on the door and it opened before looking at them and said, "Sometimes, a second look usually pays off." Fisto smiled and said, "took the words out of my mouth Master Max." Max smiled and said, "thank you master Fisto, it is a great honor to hear that coming from you." Smiling, Fisto led the team through the doorway as Grant sent a signal to hidden clones.

Inside, Commander Fil asked a clone if he smelled something, and the clone replied, "Doesn't smell like droids to me." As they walked further in, one clone said it was too dark, so the clones turned on their helmet lights and they pressed on while Fisto said, "I sense there is something here." looking up and around as they arrived at an intersection but Commander Fil said, "Scanners are negative, general." right before growling could be heard. The clones readied themselves as one said, "well that was something." they resumed pressing on until they got to a doorway.

"All droids stay on guard, be ready for anything" said the voice of Gunray to some battledroids. Fisto and Nahdar led Max and the clones slowly up the stairs. Gunray then said, "Double shifts for everyone." The droids saw them and tried to tell the viceroy that the Jedi were there, but he said, "I know they're near. Once those Jedi pick up my trail, they never leave me alone." Fisto, Nahdar, and Max then ignited their blades as one Droid said, "They're right behind you." and Gunray said, "What? Where? Do something! You! Blast them!" The droids then began to open fire. The three Jedi blocked the shots before Max force pushed the droids.

"Impressive." Nahdar said to Max. Max smiled before getting a serious look on his face as he said, "Thanks, but shame we couldn't get the viceroy." Max then spun the chair to show the Viceroy in a hologram. The Viceroy then said, "I welcome you Jedi. To your doom!" before crackling and ending the transmission. Nahdar then picked up the tracking beacon and said, "they knew we were coming." Fisto then said, "I should have known Gunray wasn't here. At the first sight of us, he would have run off screaming like the coward he is." Nahdar then looked at Max and said, "How did you know he wasn't here?"

"When I landed my fighter I used the force to find all life on the planet, Gunray was not one of the things I found." Suddenly, Count Dooku appeared in the seat and he said, "I apologize for the deception, Master Jedi." Fisto was the first to speak and he said, "Count Dooku. You have a great talent for unexpected appearances." and Dooku replied, "It's a shame you came so far to be frustrated. While the viceroy is unavailable for capture, allow me to offer you an alternate prize." Dooku then looked at Max as the hologram disappeared and a button began to flash on the chair.

"This has got to be a trap." Commander Fil said to the three Jedi. Fisto then said that it looked like Dooku was trying to catch someone, and they were the bait. Max simply shook his head and said, "no Master Fisto, the bait was the Tracking beacon, any Jedi would have been fine with Dooku's plan." That was when Nahdar pressed the button and a door opened up to a hallway. Fisto led the group into the hallway as Doorways on either side opened up. In the rooms were statues of a strange creature as it became more and more cybernetic.

"Hm… this place looks like a Shrine to that strange warrior." Fisto said as he got to the end of the hallway with the group and inside they saw the body plates that General Grievous wears, including his face plate, making Fisto say, "This is the lair of General Grievous." Max and Nahdar both nodded as Nahdar became angry. Out in space, in his customized Feethan Ottraw Scalable Assemblies Belbullab-22 starfighter; Soulless One, General Grievous received a transmission from Count Dooku who said, "General the ongoing stalemate in the war has become unacceptable. There is concern you have lost your focus. Lord Sidious demands more dramatic results, more dead jedi."

"You expect victory over Jedi, but all you give me to fight them is battle droids." Said Grievous before screaming and ending the transmission and flying his fighter to his lair. Back in Grievous's Lair, Nahdar looked over all the things Grievous collected from slain Jedi as he said, "These must be trophies from all the Jedi he's murdered… There are so many." he then pounded the table he was standing at as Fisto said, "Why would Dooku want to set a trap for his best general? It doesn't make sense." Max looked at Fisto and said, "No Master Fisto, the trap has already been sprung. By now he contacted the general and told him that Sidious demanded more drastic results, more dead Jedi. So he had the beacon placed here knowing the Jedi would come and try and capture Gunray, and we fell for it."

That was when Master Fisto received a transmission on his communicator from niner as he and Bel looked at the Soulless One through R6's hologram projector, "General, your droid is tracking an incoming ship. It matches the description of General Grievous' fighter. It's headed our way." Fisto told Niner to stay out of sight and await further orders as Max contacted clones under his command that he had already hidden to prepare for Magna droids while Nahdar said, "Capturing Grievous could turn the tide of the war." Then Commander Fil said, "And if he doesn't know we're here, we can take him down easily."

"Don't underestimate him trooper, he's as vicious as they come." Max said as he revealed his cybernetic hand. Fisto nodded his head and said, "Agreed, we'll need a plan." outside, Grievous flew his ship through the atmosphere and into his castle's hangar bay. Entering a hallway, Grievous looked around and saw no guards and said, "Guards? Gor? Gor, where are you?" That was when Master Fisto, Commander Fil, another clone Trooper, Max and Master Fisto jumped in front of him with Fisto's lightsaber ignited. Grievous covered his eyes when he heard another lightsaber get ignited and saw the other two clones, Commander Grant, and Nahdar standing behind him.

"Welcome home General. I'm afraid I must request your surrender." Master Fisto said to the cyborg General. Grievous looked around as Fisto said, "Cooperate Grievous, and perhaps the senate will be merciful." but Grievous said, "It is you who shall get no mercy." as he took his cloak off and ignited two lightsabers. He tried to swing but was blocked by how small the corridor was. Master Fisto and Nahdar swung at Grievous but he blocked them as he got two more lightsabers ignited after separating his arms.

Max slowly backed up as Fisto shouted, "Cables!" two clones obeyed and shot cables at Grievous's legs, making the cyborg General grunt and growl as he kept dueling the two Jedi. The clones pulled on the cables to keep the cyborg General from going anywhere. Fisto said, "Don't let him cut the lines!" before cutting Grievous's lower legs off. Grievous then hopped onto the ceiling and tried to swing away, but the clones pulled him down. Max tried to swing at him, but Grievous blocked his blade before Max said, "Don't make me destroy you." Grievous then spun his cybernetic hand and flung it at Kit Fisto, only for the Jedi Master to hit it away.

Grievous then jumped up, making one clone fall and Grievous catching the other one. Hitting Kit Fisto with the clone, Grievous said, "Come and get me." The Jedi kept back as to not hurt the clone, who was then tossed by Grievous into Nahdar. He then dropped down and laughed at the jedi before the clones shot at him and he jumped onto the ceiling. As Grievous swung away, Kit Fisto and Max gave chase as Nahdar said, "Cut him off!" They continued chasing him until Grievous dropped down on two clones, killing them and getting away. When the Jedi, Commander Fil, and the remaining clone trooper got there, Grievous was already gone.

"Where did he go?" asked Commander Fil. That was when Nahdar said, "The clones got in the way, I could have taken him." Getting a look of disappointment from Master Fisto. Max then slammed Nahdar against the wall and said, "The clones are our men and we are responsible to keep them alive. If you don't think that then you shouldn't be a Jedi Nahdar!" Kit Fisto pulled Max away as he said, "Let's take care of our wounded." Max glared at Nahdar and said, "Yes master Fisto." with Grievous, he got into a chair and coughed before asking for the doctor. That was when an EV-series medical droid and mechanic owned by General Grievous called EV-A4-D walked in.

"Don't be upset with me, Master. If you were a better fighter, we would not be having this conversation." A4-D said to Grievous as he walked in, which made the Kaleesh Cyborg growl at him. A4-D then said, "Look what you let those Jedi do to you. You're a walking scrap pile. What a mess. It's going to take me forever to get you back into decent shape. I'll go fetch your spare parts." Following the droid, Grievous saw his Magnagaurds hanging up and asked, "what happened to my bodyguards?' A4-D said that they were remotely deactivated for recharge and added that he thought that Grievous did it. Grievous then powered up four Magnaguards and told them, "Lock down the perimeter."

Going back to the cameras, Grievous saw the Jedi looking at the two clones he killed. In the hallway, Nahdar said to Master Fisto, "Let me go after Grievous myself, master." But Master Fisto said, "Patience Nahdar. You may no longer be a padawan, but you are not ready to take on Grievous. It's time we retreated." then Max said, "I doubt he'll let us go free Master Fisto." As they ran down the hallway, Grievous said to himself, "You're not going anywhere." before he pressed a button and closed all the doors, trapping them inside. Fisto then said, "Looks like we're going to have to fight after all." Max looked at Grant and nodded his head, who nodded his head back as Commander Fil contacted the two clones outside when he said, "Green scout to Watcher base."

"Copy, this is Watcher base, over." said Niner, Commander Fil then said to Niner, "Contact the fleet at Bestine. Inform them we've engaged Grievous and require reinforcements." Niner replied, "Right away, sir." unbeknownst to them is that three Magnaguards were watching them and one pulled out a rocket launcher as Niner said, "Better warm up the shuttle's long range transmitter." Bel and Niner then got into their shuttle and closed the door, right before the Magnadroid fired a rocket at the shuttle, destroying it and killing them both. R6, seeing what happened, contacted Fisto and told him that Magan guards were around him

"Get out of there R6, now!" Kit Fisto told his Astromech. Wasting no time, R6 powered up the starfighter's engines and took off with a Magnaguard on it. He then spun the ship to get the magnaguard off and flew away, telling Master Fisto that he was safe before losing the connection. Fisto tried to raise R6 when a hologram of Grievous appeared, which Made Max take a step to the left, along with Grant as Grievous said, "You've run out of time." Fisto taunted Grievous by saying, "Why don't you come out, General? Show us some of that Separatist Hospitality." Grievous simply said in response, "Patience. In the meantime, please experience all my home has to offer. It has been prepared for uninvited guests like you."

"I have a bad feeling about this." Said Nahdar right before the floor opened and they all fell down except for Max and Grant. Master Fisto and Nahdar jumped as Commander Fil shot a cable onto the ceiling and Max used the force to catch the other trooper and pull him up as Grant helped Master Fisto and Nahdar save Commander Fil. Master Fisto then said, "General, I know you are watching. We've seen the lower levels of your home. We're not impressed." Cackling, Grievous then said, "Good, Jedi, good. You will provide some sport for me yet." right before Master Fisto shoved his lightsaber into the camera.

"General, I got in contact with the clones we left outside, Niner and Bel are dead. The shuttle was blown up by a rocket. But they did get in contact with the fleet and a venator is coming to assist us." Grant said to Max. He smiled and said, "thank you grant. Master Fisto, this is where I must ask you to let me handle the rest on my own." Master Fisto shook his head and said, "I'm sorry Max, but we will face him as a united force." Max sighed and said, "Understood master Fisto." When the group got into a circular room, they heard more growling. Gathered in a circle, Master Fisto said, "Stand firm, there might be worse things here than Grievous."

That was when a door opened and a giant creature walked through making Fil say, "It looks like you're right about that, sir." The creature then attacked them all. Killing Fil and the other clone, it tried to kill the rest of the team. Max looked at Grant and they nodded their heads and then the two pulled out blasters with hooks in the front of them. They then fired the hooks into the monster's eyes and yanked down hard with Max also using the force to push the monster down. Max then took his lightsaber and jumped before stabbing the monster in its throat, ending its life. Nahdar then said, as he looked at the bodies of the clones under his command, "Grievous must be destroyed. If he can use a thing like that, he's a true monster." Master Fisto then said, "I understand your pain, but you forget your teachings, Nahdar. Revenge is not the Jedi way."

"But in this war, Strength prevails." Nahdar said to his master. He then said, "The rules have changed." That was when Max said, "The rules haven't changed, you have changed Nahdar. Even my own master taught me that Jedi do not seek revenge. Come on now, we have to keep moving. Meanwhile, Grievous was good as new and saw that his pet was killed. He was angry as A4-D said, "Master, you have an incoming transmission from Count Dooku." Pressing a button, he made Dooku appear and the Separatist leader said, "General, I understand the Jedi have infiltrated your lair. Your recent defeats at their hands have shaken my faith in your ability to lead the droid army. I'm sure you can understand my need to reassess your effectiveness."

Putting it all together, Grievous said, "You! You deactivated my guards. You let the Jedi in here, so you would test me." Count Dooku said he hoped Grievous emerged victorious, and Grievous said, "Ha!" and turned off Dooku's Transmission as he said, "Oops. All right, count. I'll play your little game." Grievous then walked out as A4-D said, "in your condition, you need your rest." but Grievous simply replied, "I will rest when the Jedi are dead." Grievous then walked out with Magnaguards as Master Fisto, Nahdar, Max, and Grant watched when Grievous pushed stones in a certain order. Nahdar then said, "You were right master. That exit must lead to the control room."

After Grievous left the wall, The Jedi and clone trooper went to the wall and Fisto pushed the stones Grievous pushed and got the door open when a voice came over a intercom and it was A4-D. he said, "Master, the Jedi are about to enter the control room." As Grievous headed back, Fisto and Max told Nahdar to hurry inside, but Nahdar said, "No you two go. I will hold him off." then Max said, "we don't have time for this Nahdar. You can't take Grievous alone!" Suddenly the door closed, separating Nahdar from the others. Max, Grant and Master Fisto made their way to the command center as Nahdar took out all the Magnaguards with Grievous before dueling the General himself.

As A4-D cheered on Grievous, he saw that Fisto and Max were not there and he said, "Oh no." before Master Fisto cut him in two. Max tried to find a way to save Nahdar but it was too late as Grievous pulled out a blaster and shot him dead. Fisto was saddened and said, "No." Max sighed and said, "I'm sorry Master Fisto… I tried." Fisto nodded his head as Grievous looked into the camera after collecting Nahdar's lightsaber, "I will kill you all. Do you hear me, Jedi? Do you hear me?" Soon R6 got in contact with Master Fisto as Grant said, "Sir, the Venator's here for pick up." Max nodded his head as Fisto told R6 to meet them at the south landing platform.

"Tell the Venator to send a gunship there too." Max told Grant. They then heard Grievous say, "I'm coming for you and that other Jedi next, Fisto." Fisto simply pressed a button and said, "We'll be gone by the time you get here." before he and Max stabbed their lightsabers into the control console. On the south landing platform, Fisto, Max, and Grant waited for pickup when Grievous came up the rock face as he said, "Going somewhere?" Max and Master Fisto readied their lightsabers as Grievous had four drawn and began to spin them fast. The two Jedi dueled the Kaleesh Cyborg as Max said, "I know why you hate the Jedi so much Grievous! If you took your people's concern to the senate like the Yam'rii did, then things would have been different!"

"Silence Jedi!" Grievous said loudly as he forced the two Jedi back. They then deactivated their lightsabers and slipped into the fog, making Grievous look around for them with Fisto appearing behind him and they locked blakes as Fisto said, "You may have been a proud warrior once, but now you're a pawn in Dooku's game." Grievous called Fisto a fool as he said he had great power and tried to kill Fisto, only for the Nautolan Jedi Master to cut that hand off and catch the lightsaber of his fallen former Padawan before saying, "That power will only consume you." Max then pulled a lightsaber from Grievous as the two Jedi dueled the Kaleesh Cyborg. Soon three Magnaguards appeared and got the two Jedi on the defensive. When it came close, R6 arrived as the gunship also came and the two Jedi and Grant got on them and were able to escape Grievous.

At the Council chamber on Coruscant, Master Fisto and Max stood before Master Mace Windu and Master Yoda. They told the two Jedi Masters about their experience when Master Windu asked about Nahdar. Master Fisto said, "His heart was in the right place, but he tried to answer Grievous' power with his own. Then Master Yoda said, "To answer power with power, the Jedi way this is not. In this war, a danger there is of losing who we are." Max nodded his head and said, "If I may master Yoda. I can understand you wishing to keep the old ways of the order, but if we are to win this war, then we must change along with the times." Master Windu then said, "While that is good, change can also be bad. Surely your master taught you that too."

"I did Master Windu." John said as he walked into the room. Max bowed to John as they all began to discuss new plans. Meanwhile, Count Dooku knelt before his master and Sidious said, "These new Jedi have begun to become a thorn in my plans. Not even my allies in the Republic Navy can tell me." That was when Dooku said, "Then allow me to capture one my master, interrogate him for information." Sidious nodded and said, "Do so Lord Tyranus, I want to know about these Jedi." Dooku then walked out of his chambers and looked at the Separatist fleet.
