"Momma, do i have to go to daddas today? I dont like Reby. Shes mean to me" Jasmine asked as Willow gathered her coat. "What do you mean shes mean to you? Has she touched you?" Willow asked, concerned for her daughters safety. "She tells me off and calls me nasty names when daddy isnt around. I told daddy but he doesnt believe me" Jasmine said sadly. "OK Jas, we need to tell daddy together. Will you be ok going to see him today?" Willow asked, not wanting to subject her eldest daughter to any mental abuse. "I'll be ok momma, if Reby is mean or nasty i give her hell" Jasmine replied hugging Willow. When did my 6 year old get so smart? Willow thought as she picked up Ruby and headed out into the cold morning.
"Hey Matt, can we talk? Its to do with Jas" Willow asked Matt as Jasmine ran inside. "Willow whatever it is, it can wait" Matt replied coldly as Willow shook her head. "Matt, it really cant wait. Jas really didnt want to come here today. I had to talk her into coming to spend time with you and she ended up telling me about Reby being verbally abusive towards her. Have you seen anything or has Jas said anything to you?" Willow said, starting to feel the anger building up towards her ex who replied "Ive not seen Reby do or say anything towards Jas. Has it ever occured to you that Jasmine is lying and that she just dislikes Rebs? And maybe if she didnt act like a brat around her..." "Matt, please just watch Jas around her" Willow pleaded as Matt shut the door in her face.
"Mom you should have seen him. Hes like a different person, he didnt even care as to what Jasmine had to tell him" Willow said as Amy passed her daughter a hot coffee. "Thats so not like him Wills. What do you think is going on with him?" Amy asked as Willow shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. "I dont know mom. I really dont. Its been 3 months, hes not the same Matt i fell in love with, he barely even looks at me, barely talks to me. Not even about the girls. Its getting harder and harder to take the girls" she said as she felt the tears building up once again. "Seeing him everyday with her, its killing me. He still doesnt know about the cancer. He cant know" "You know hes not going to find out from any of us. You know you can stay here as long as you need to Wills" Amy replied as she hugged her daughter. "Thanks mom. Any word on when Adams place is going to be available?" Willow asked as Amy looked at her "Not for a few more weeks. Are you wanting to move in?" she asked as Willow nodded. "I need some sort of stability for the girls, and being there will help. Plus i can take some alone time once the girls are in bed to try and heal. Its just so hard being near him, and its getting harder every day" "You still love him dont you?" Amy asked as Willow nodded. "Oh Wills, you know Matt loves you deep down. Im not defending him, because what he did was really shitty, but hes hurting after that recording got out..." Amy replied as Willow cut her off. "So am i. I thought Victor had gone after the wedding, but no. He finally got his last laugh" she said as Amy shook her head and said "Hes relentless, but you know you have everyones support. Just give Matt some time, he'll soon realise what a bitch Reby is" "Mom, do you mind getting Jas tonight? I dont feel so good" Willow asked as Amy replied "You dont even have to ask" sensing all was not right with Willow.
"Daddy can we do something fun tomorrow? Just me and you?" Jasmine asked later that night as Reby sat next to Matt and commanded his full attention. "Maybe Jas, we'll have to talk it over with mom though" Matt replied, engrossed in his new girlfriend over his daughter. "Daddy, why dont you love mom anymore?" Jasmine asked sadly as Matt and Reby ignored her. She let out a frustrated sigh that finally caught Matts attention, just as his cell began ringing. "Hey give me 5 mins Jas. Rebs you mind getting her a drink before she heads home?" he said as Reby nodded before heading off to the kitchen, clearly fed up of being second on Matts list. I hate that fucking needy brat Reby thought as she poured some milk into a beaker for Jasmine, i need to get rid of her for a while...she thought as she did the unthinkable. She grabbed the bleach out of the cupboard and poured it in with the milk before walking out and giving it to Jasmine. "Hey Jas, sorry about that. So something fun huh? What do you fancy?" Matt asked as he sat on the floor next to his daughter. "I wanna go zoo and have a picnic" Jasmine said as she drank the poisonous milk. "Daddy, why dont you love mommy anymore? Shes super duper sad" Jasmine asked again as Matt sighed. "Its complicated Jas" he said as Reby announced that she was going to go up and take a bath. "But you know, im kinda sad too but ive got Reby here with me and you and Rubes are just across the street" he added. "I dont like Reby daddy. Shes mean and says nasty things about me and wooby and momma" "Im sure she doesnt mean it Jas" Matt said as there was a knocking at the door.
"Hey Ames, whats up?" Matt asked as Amy entered the house. "im here for Jas. Wills isnt feeling great" she said, not wanting to give anything away. "Gamma!" Jasmine said as Amy entered the room. "Whats going on with Wills? She ok?" Matt asked, not knowing the truth. "Shes struggling Matt. Shes hurting, trying to process everything. Trying to work out who sent that recording" Amy replied, not wanting to tell him anything. "You know shes not eating, not sleeping. For what its worth Matt, Wills never wanted any of this to happen. She would have told you about Seth in her own time. She had more important things to worry about at the time, like Rubes and whatever is making her ill" Amy said, picking up Jasmine just as Reby came downstairs. which Amy took as her cue to leave. "Daddy, call mommy in the morning about zoo. Love you daddy" Jasmine said as Any left the house with her, overhearing Reby asking Matt "what the hell was that about?"
"Mommy...i dont feel so good" Jasmine said hours later as she crept into Willows temporary room at Amys. "Hey baby, whats wrong?" Willow asked sleepily as Jasmine climbed on the bed and snuggled in. "My tummy hurts and i wanna puke" she said quietly, curling up to try and hide the pain. "Jas youre burning up" Willow said as she felt her daughters forehead, as Jasmine vomited all over the bed. "Im sorry momma im sorry" Jasmine said quietly, as Willow quickly stripped the bedding off. "Its ok Jas, it ok. Im taking you to the hospital" she replied just as Ruby started crying. "Everything ok Wills?" Adam asked from the otherside of the door. "Not really Ads. Jas is burning up and vomiting, i need to go get her checked out. Can you guys watch Ruby for me?" Willow asked as she opened the door, holding the vomit covered bedding. "Of course Wills. Here, give me that i'll put that in the wash for you. Get Jas to the hospital" he replied seeing his step daughter was struggling. "Thanks Adam, i dont know what i would have done without you guys these last few months" Willow said as she turned back to get Jasmine. "JAS!" she cried out when she saw her daughter had begun foaming at the mouth. She ran to the bed and tried to get her daughter vomit again to try and get whatever was in her daughters system out. "Wills, get her to the hospital now. She needs proper medical care" Adam said as Amy joined them on the upstairs hallway, carrying Ruby. "Whats going on?" she asked as Willow scooped up Jas, rushing past them both. "I'll explain everything" Adam replied as they watched Willow speed off into the night.
"Willow! Whats going on?" Dr Britt asked as she saw Willow carrying Jasmine into the hospital. "I dont know Beth. Shes been vomiting and foamed at the mouth. Ive never seen her like this" Willow replied as a group of Drs rushed Jasmine into a private room as Willow watched and waited outside. She took out her cell and called the one person she really needed by her side, but there was no answer. She tried countless times but everytime, there was no answer. She tried texting with zero response. Matt why wont you answer? Your daughter is in hospital and you dont seem to care Willow thought as Beth came and stood next to her. "Whats wrong with her Beth?" Willow asked quietly, the panic and worrry in her voice. "There were traces of bleach in her vomit, she had convulsions so theyve had to pump her stomach. Theres faint bruising on her. Any idea how she got bleach in her? And where have the bruises come from?" Beth replied, as Willow shook her head. "Shes been at Matts today. This is my fault. Jas said she didnt want to go and i made her go. She said Matts new partner was mean towards her" "Wills, its not your fault. Have you told him shes here?" Beth asked, worried for her friend as Willow nodded. "Kinda. Ive rang and rang and messaged him with no response, so ive left him a voicemail. Can i go see her?" Willow asked as Beth nodded. "Shes strong Wills, she'll fight this and be the Jas we all know and love" Beth said as Willow sat in the chair next to her sleeping daughters bed, where she watched over her daughter for the rest of the night.
"Mommy, where am i?" Jasmine asked in the morning after a sleepless night for Willow. "Hey Jas, youre in hospital. You gave us all quite the scare last night" she replied, not wanting to tell her Matt hadnt been or even asked about her. "Mommy, i dont want to go see daddy today, i wanna stay with you" Jasmine said as Willow gave her a hug. "You dont have to do anything you dont want to baby. Im not going to force you into anything" She said as there was a gentle knock at the door. "Hey, hows my little Jasdoll doing?" Amy asked as she entered the room. "Im ok Gamma, just hungy now" Jasmine replied as Willow yawned. "Why dont i go find some food for you and mom?" Amy asked as Willow nodded and replied "Thanks mom. Maybe a really strong coffee too?" As Amy nodded and headed off to the canteen to find breakfast, leaving Willow and Jas alone again. "Mommy, why is daddy not here? Does he not love me?" Jasmine asked, picking up on Willows sadness. "I dont know Jas. I called and called and called but he didnt pick up" she replied as she hugged her daughter "But i do know he loves you, no matter what" as Amy returned with bagels and coffee.
A few hours later and Willow and Jasmine were back home. Amy and Adam had taken Naveah out for a few hours, to let them rest and catch up on sleep. Willow, Jas and Ruby were all in the sitting area watching movies when there was a knock at the door. "Mommy if thats daddy, tell him i dont want to see him" Jasmine said quietly, adding "and i dont want to see him when Reby is there" "Of course Jas. You and Rubes are my number ones" Willow said as she went to answer the door. As she opened it, she felt her heart shatter as she saw Matt in front of her. "Matt, what do you want?" she asked, already knowing the answer. "Im here for Jas. She wanted to go to the zoo today, just me and her" he replied asking "Is she ready to go?" "Jas isnt going anywhere. She doesnt want to see you" Willow replied, the anger once again building inside her. "What do you mean Willow? She was all excited yesterday" Matt said, confused as he tried to enter the house, as Willow stopped him. "She was taken to hospital last night. Vomiting, foaming at the mouth. She had a mini seizure because someone gave her bleach to drink. They had to pump her stomach" Willow said as Matt looked on with a blank face. "I called you multiple times, messaged you. She needed you Matt and you ignored her" "Ive got nothing on my cell Wills. No messages, no missed calls. Nothing" He replied showing her his clear cell, as Willow showed him hers, the countless messages and calls to his number showing. "You dont think Reby deleted them to stop you from seeing Jas?" Willow said "Who knows Matt, she may have been the one to give the bleach to Jas" "Wills thats crazy. Why would she do it? Was Jas even really in hospital?" He said accusingly as a tiny voice said "daddy"
"Hey Jas, ready for our trip to the zoo?" Matt asked, his demeanour changing at the sight of his daughter. "I dont wanna go daddy. I was really poorly last night, i ended up in the hospital. Why didnt you come daddy?" "I dont believe either of you. Why not just come get me? Why blame Reby for it?" "Because she gave me the drink daddy" Jasmine said, now getting upset. "Jasmine, what have i told you about telling lies?" Matt said as Jasmine said "Im not lying daddy. I was in the hospital and nasty Reby put me there" "JASMINE BELLE! Stop lying" Matt yelled as Jasmine started crying. Willow picked her up and carried her back into the living area. "Make him go away momma. I dont wanna see him again" Jasmine sobbed as Willow nodded, before heading back out to deal with her ex.
"Matt just go. Now! We're done here" Willow snarled at him as he tried to barge in, "Not until i find out why Jasmine and you are lying about the hospital and blaming Reby" he replied as Willow shook her head. "SHE DOESNT WANT TO SEE YOU MATT" Willow screamed at him, "SHE COULD HAVE FUCKING DIED AND YOURE MORE BOTHERED ABOUT YOUR GOLDIGGING BITCH" "Dont put this on her. Youre no better after fucking Seth in New York. At least Rebs has always been honest with me" Matt replied angrily. "Honest with you? Matt you threw me out after hearing part of a conversation taken out of contex. You never let me talk to you about it! Especially after i SAW you with HER when i was in New York, pregnant and ill!" She screamed at him as Matt replied with the worst thing he could say, "Is Jasmine even my kid? You never did find out" "We're done here Matt. I dont want to see you, Jas doesnt want to see you. So get out of here. Dont call, dont come knocking. WE ARE DONE!" She yelled in response before slamming the door in his face, breaking down, her heart breaking into a million pieces.
"Mommy is so sad Gamma" Jasmine said as Amy tucked her grandaughter into bed a few months later. "I hear her crying all the time, she loves daddy and misses him. So do i but hes with nasty Reby" "I know Jas, i know" Amy replied, worried about her daughter and grandaughter. "But you know, no one else is talking to dad. We dont like the way he treated you after your trip to the hospital" "Aunty Ewwy said the same, and Grandpa. I want things to go back to how they were with momma and daddy" Jasmine said sleepily. "Go to sleep Jas, things will be better in the morning" Amy said as Jasmine closed her eyes, as Amy headed downstairs, in Adams old place. "Thanks for today mom. In fact, thank you for the last few months. I wouldnt be here without you and Adam really stepping up to help me out" Willow said as Amy sat next to her. "I know its been tough, Matts an idiot. But you are amazing. You will beat this cancer, you'll get everything back on track, you'll meet someone amazing who will love you just as much as we do" Amy replied as she held her daughter. "Thanks mom. Youve always been there for me, even when i dont deserve it" Willow said, holding back yet another night of tears. "Wills, you deserve the world after these 6 months" Amy said, unaware of Willows plans. "I just feel so empty, so numb all the time. My heart hurts, my whole body hurts. I need to get away. Seeing him everyday, with her. It kills me" Willow sobbed, "I cant even go to the beach house, too many reminders of our past and i just want to forget it" "Wills, why dont you go to Chicago, see Elly or Houston to see Brooke? Im sure theyd love to see you" Amy suggested as Willow nodded and replied "Do you mind giving me and the girls a few days on our own? We havent really done much together lately, all things considered." Amy nodded, unaware that Willow had already planned to leave for the UK in a few days time.
