Staying in port

The cruise line agreed with Merrill cause that cruise the passengers were getting to be a little too much for the crew and they were going to keep all of the ships in port until something could be done about it cause they were going to make harder rules for the passengers and for the crew as well

"Well I might as well go home to my apartment cause I have to get it ready for the baby" Gopher says cause doc cleared him once his blood pressure was under control as for Vicki she had to go to the hospital for better care and Merrill was going to be really lonely without her

"Gopher I would like you to stay with me at my place cause it's going to be lonely without Vicki there, and of course I am going to get her dog Tundra to come and stay with us cause she is going to need Tundra more then ever right now after this" Merrill says as they were leaving the ship to go to their homes cause the ship was going to have some maintenance done to it like better railings and everything cause when Vicki was tossed overboard that easily that was a cause for the line to step up their game as well for safety reasons

"Sir I would be honored to stay with you and help you through this cause this is not going to be easy on you and of course Vicki as well cause she is going to be really scared and have her days as well, and then she would want to have her mom with her and that is not happening cause she is gone and you will have to help her understand that her mom is not coming back ever no matter how much she wishes her mom Georgina was back with her and you two are married, and living together" Gopher tells him

"I was going to marry Georgina and I would have been able to see Vicki grow up and help Georgina out with taking care of Vicki cause she is our daughter and I love her with all my heart and I would do anything for her, and Georgina told me that I need the sea and it wouldn't work out between the two of us and I know I would of made this marriage work for us no matter what happened cause Vicki was my responsibility and not no one else's and since I am a wreck right now it would be nice to heave some help to take care if her and help her get through this cause this is going to be a long and hard road for her as well and I hate to let her down cause she is my only daughter" Merrill says as they headed back to Merrill's apartment and Gopher was going to stay in the another apartment that was close to the captain as well cause he was going to need a lot of help with Vicki

Merrill was going to see what hospital she was taken too and head there to be with her while Gopher stayed back and got things done for Merrill as well cause he was going to be with Vicki every waking moment that he can right now until she comes home and Gopher was going to read some what to expect when you are expecting books cause he had to brush up on being a parent cause the big day was going to be there before he knew it and he wouldn't know nothing, but he was going to have some advice from a a bit of a pro and that was the captain cause he raised Vicki but he raised her when she was 12 on up and he needed help in the 12 and under department

"Okay I got the laundry started I am going to take the uniforms down to the cleaners and get those cleaned and press, and then probably grocery shop for the two of us" Gopher says as he was planning out his day a little bit cause Merrill was at the hospital right now with Vicki and staying right by her side until she recovered and was allowed to come back home and then the three of them were going to go back on the boat again and Gopher was going to have to prepare for the birth of his little one cause that big day was going to come as soon as they boarded again and Doc will see him to check on the baby and see if Gopher is having any pains and showing signs of going into labor cause he was going to have a operation to get the baby out of course

(Much later)

"Here sir" Gopher says as he handed Merrill a drink of the bubbly ginger ale that he had chilling for him cause he was going to need it right now

"Thanks Gopher all I want to do is stay with her but I can't visiting hours are over, so I am going to sleep in her room and you can sleep in my room if you want Gopher" Merrill says as he smelled dinner

"I cooked sir eat and then go to bed" Gopher says as he was going to get supper out for Merrill right now and he was going to stay until his one brother or father comes

Merrill ate a little bit and Gopher sat with him to help him get through this cause he was taking it rather hard right now and he didn't want to eat or do anything else until Vicki was back to her normal self as well

"Come on sir you have to keep up your strength for her cause she is really going to need you" Gopher says as he saw what Merrill ate that night for dinner

"what's the point Gopher" Merrill tells him

"The point is you have a daughter in that hospital scared as a kitty cat right now and she wants her father to be there for her, and help her through this cause her mother is not here and her one aunt looks like she don't care about her no more and you are who has left to help her on top of me and Julie but she mainly has you right now and I don't want her not to have both parents with her and have her go through this alone, and you got to be the one who hands down that punishment to those two losers who did this to her and made her like this" Gopher says as he talks to Merrill in the most strict voice he had in him
