"Momma do we have to go? Its still dark and cold outside" Jasmine asked sleepily as Willow dressed her. "We do baby, we have a big adventure ahead of us over the next few days" she replied as Jasmine grabbed her doll. "Do you need to go potty before we leave Jas?" Willow asked as Jasmine nodded, taking Willows hand as she led the way to the bathroom. "Jas, you go potty while i go get Rubes ok. I'll be back in two minutes" Willow said as Jasmine sat on the toilet. Willow sent a quick text to Matt, who would be meeting them in a few hours before waking and dressing her youngest daughter. "MOMMA! IVE FINISHED" Jasmined called from the bathroom as Willow picked up Ruby and re entered the bathroom. Willow cleaned Jasmine up and said "Wash your hands" as the taxi pulled up outside. She took a deep breath as she turned off all the lights, closing all the bedroom doors as Jasmine came and stood beside her. "Momma, are you sad because we're leaving nanna Grace and Mikes house?" Jasmine asked as Willow nodded. "A little bit Jas, but we get to go home. To our new place near to daddy" she replied as they headed downstairs and out into the cold, dark morning.
"Hey Wills, wait up!" she heard a voice call out behind her. As she turned around, she saw Thom and Luke standing behind her. "What are you guys doing here?" she asked as the three friends hugged. "Did you really think we'd let you sneak off again without saying goodbye?" Luke said as Willow half sighed and half giggled. "Thanks guys. I dont know what i would have done this past year without you. You have both been rocks for me and the girls and we love you" she said as Jasmine came over to hug Thom and Luke. "Bye bye uncy Thom! Bye bye Uncy Luke. Come see us at home" Jasmine said as Willow picked her up. "You guys are always welcome in my place" Willow said as she told Jasmine to wait in the car. "I mean it guys, you can come over whenever you want. Youve both done so much for me this last year, when ive been a complete wreck and struggled with both my health and mental health" she said as Thom asked "How are you feeling right now?" "Im doing good. If a little scared and nervous about seeing Matt and going home" she replied. "Why are you nervous about Matt? You two are made for each other" Luke asked as Willow replied "Its complicated Luke, but there is something you both should know. Matt and i kissed the night of my birthday" Wait, you two? This is huge! How did you keep it quiet?" Thom asked as Willow replied "It was just one night. We're still figuring stuff out with us and im still recovering. Harriet turning up didnt help either. Will you catch Luke up with that Thom. We really have to get going" she said, lying about the her and Matts relationship as Thom nodded. "Bye guys, be safe and send us loads of pictures of your new house" Luke said as the three friends shared one final hug, before Willow entered the taxi, driving off into the busy London traffic.
The 8:01 Eurostar to Paris will be shortly departing platform 11. Will all passengers make their way to the departure platform. First class is situated at the front of the train.
"Momma, why are we at the train station? I thought we were going to the airport" Jasmine asked sleepily. "This is the start of our big adventure Jas. We're going to go on the train and the rest, well its a surprise" Willow said as she grabbed the bags, Ruby and Jasmines hands, leading them towards the stairs to get to the platform. "Momma, can i got peepee first?" Jasmine asked as Willow nodded, hading into the station bathrooms. As Jasmine entered the small cubicle, she felt her cell vibrate in her pocket. As she took it out, quickly read the message and typed a quick response. "Come on Jas, time to go. Remember to wipe, flush and wash your hands" Willow said as Jasmine flushed the toilet and washed her hands. They made their way to the far end of the platform, waiting for the train doors to open. "So this train is a special train Jas, do you know why?" Willow asked as Jasmine shook her head. "It goes under the sea" she said as Jasmine gasped in amazement as the doors opened. "Lets go find our seats and i'll tell you more about it" Willow said as the mom and daughters boarded the train.
Matt arrived at the Gare du Nord station in Paris at 10:55, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his three favourite women. This is going to be a long 20 minutes he thought as he looked at the arrivals board and saw that Willows train was actually ahead of schedule. I cant wait to see you guys, and i just hope Wills will go for my idea after Harriet turned up he thought as he took a seat on the platform, watching the trains pass him by. Glancing at his watch, he sighed as only ten minutes had passed. He briefly closed his eyes, as he heard one train arrive and depart for London, as another pulled into the station as he opened his eyes. As he stood up to stretch his legs he heard a tiny voice behind him calling out "DADA!" As he turned around he smiled. "Hey beautiful, ive missed you" he said as he picked up Jasmine who gave him a tight hug. "Ive missed you more dada" Jasmine said as Matt kissed the top of her head, before putting her down and taking her hand before walking over to Willow and Ruby. "Here, let me help you with those bags Wills" he said as she smiled at him. "Thanks Matt, shall we tell them now or once we've dropped the bags off at the hotel?" she asked as Jasmine said "Tell us what? Are we a family again?" "Not quite Jas, but we'll tell you once we've been to the hotel. Ive managed to get adjoining rooms, so you can have your personal space with the girls" Matt said as he took one of the suitcases in one hand, and Jasmines in the other as the foursome headed out onto the Parisian streets.
"So girls, this is a very special surprise. We are going to be staying with dad for a the weekend before we fly home on Tuesday" Willow said as Jasmine started jumping on the bed. "Hey Jas, calm down. We're only in Paris for two days, then me and momma have a super duper special surprise for you and Rubes" Matt said as Jasmine sat down on the bed."What is it dada?" she asked as Ruby crawled over to him. "That would spoil the surprise Jas. Now, who here is hungry? I know i am" Willow said as Matt added "and i know the perfect bistro to go to before this afternoons adventure"
The foursome had an amazing afternoon exploring Paris. They visited Notre Dame, did a river cruise along the Seine, went up the Eiffel Tower, Walked along the Champs Elysee before stopping off at a cafe for dinner. They arrived back to the hotel around 8pm, "hey Jas, do you want thirty minutes with Dada whilest i bathe Rubes?" Willow asked as Jasmine nodded, before joining Matt on the bed. "Can we watch cartoons dada?" she asked as Willow picked up Ruby, carrying her into the adjoing room. "Hey Jas, give me two minutes ok" Matt said as he followed Willow into the room. "You ok Wills? You seem to be a bit out of it" he asked as Willow nodded. "Its just been a really long day and an even longer week" she replied as she opened the bathroom door and started running the bath for Ruby. "I think im going to take a bath after the girls have had theirs" Willow said as Matt nodded. "Can we talk later on?" she asked as Matt replied "Of course. Theres actually something i wanted to talk to you about" "Try and get the girls down no later than 930. Jas will be high after today" she said as Matt headed back to Jasmine, Willow into the bathroom.
"Momma has been super sad without you dada" Jasmine said as she cuddled into Matt. "Ive been super sad without you guys. I miss you when im on the road" he replied as Jasmine yawned. "Why dont we go run momma a super bubbly bath, help mom relax and cheer her up?" Matt suggested as Jamsine nodded. "As long as i can put bubbles in dada" she said as Matt nodded, taking her hand and leading her to the bathroom where he began to run a bath for his ex. "Kay Jas, im ready for the bubbles" he said, passing Jasmine the small bottle of bubbles. Watching as she poured the whole bottle in, he let out a soft laugh. "Thats enough Jas" he said as Willow called out for Jasmine. "Bathtime Jas, then bed" she said as Jasmine shook her head. "Jas, go with mom. I'll come read you to sleep" Matt said as Willow sighed and mouthed "thank you" to him as she took Jasmine for her bath. Less than five minutes later, a naked Jasmine came running into Matts room. "JASMINE HARDY! Get your butt back in this room" Willow called out but Jasmine jumped onto the bed next to Matt and cuddled into him. "Jas, come on. Go get ready for bed and i'll be through in a minute" Matt said as Jasmine clung to him. "Jas, there you are. Lets put your PJs on" Willow said as Jasmine shook her head. Seeing that Willow was looking worn out, Matt said "Why dont we go get ready for bed Jas, and i'll read you a story" as Jasmine nodded, before running into the other room. "Hey Wills, why dont you go relax? Ive already ran a bath for you" he said as Willow sighed. "Thanks Matt. I dont know whats gotten into her all of a sudden" she said as she headed for his bathroom, Matt into her room to find Jasmine sprawled out on the bed.
"Jas, whats gotten into you?" Matt asked as he sat on the bed next to his daughter. "I dont want dada to go back on the road" she said as Matt grabbed her pyjamas and started dressing her. "You know i hate leaving you and Rubes. But you know why i go" he replied as Jasmine said "But i dont like it dada. I misses you""And i miss you too Jas. But i have a collection building up of small presents from all the places ive been for you" Matt replied as Jasmine climbed into the bed. "But im not going anywhere for four more days Jas and we'll have lots of fun with mom and Rubes, but now its time to sleep. You have had a very very long day and we have another long day tomorrow. But then, its a super special surprise from me and mom to you and Rubes" he said as she cuddled into him. "But now its time for sleep Jas. Its late" he said as he watched her close her eyes before heading back into the other room. He didnt have to wait long as she emerged from the bathroom around half an hour later. "You always did look good in my tshirts Wills" he said as she giggled, joining him on the bed. "Girls were out straight away. Jas just doesnt like me going on the road so much" he said as Willow sighed, as she took her bottle of antidepressants out of her bag and took one as Matt watched on. "You ok Wills?" he asked, passing her a bottle of water as she swallowed the pills with a pained look on her face. "Im ok, you know me. I hate taking pills" she replied as she sipped the water. "So what did you want to talk about?" she asked as Matt sat back on the bed next to her, as he said the words she didnt want to hear "I want to talk about Harriet"
"I want to talk about Harriet" Matt repeated as Willow felt her eyes tearing up. "Matt i..." she said as he took her hand. "I dont care that you slept with her, we're still figuring stuff out. Want did she even want? How was it seeing her again?" he asked, as she gripped his hand. "It was a complete head fuck. I had no idea she was even in the country. Then for her to just turn up out of the blue... Matt i was struggling already mentally, her arrival it threw me" Willow replied as she felt a tear run down her face. "She apologised for the way she left, but i just didnt want to hear it. I felt my anger and hurt building up at her and i ended up telling her she hurt me worse than you in the way she left and about the knife incident. Then for some reason, she kissed me. I told her to go, multiple times but she wouldnt leave. Not until we'd talked, i just...i just couldnt be around her. Then she kissed me again, it was like an out of body experience as i kissed her back and we ended up in bed" she said as Matt wiped away her tears. "Like i said Wills, i dont care about that. But it did give me an idea" he said as she looked at him. "While we're still figuring us out and sneaking around, why dont we 'date' other people? It'll keep the others off our scent until we're ready to tell them" he suggested, surprising her. "That sounds like a good idea Matt. Im sorry im such a fuck up. Once i get back home with the girls, im going to make an appointment with Beth and get a therapist as Thom thinks my depression is PTSD based" she said as Matt held her. "Wills, youre not a fuck up. Its great that you're going to get help once youre home, but you've also got me if you need to vent or even take the girls for a few hours. I want you to get better. But why PTSD?" he replied as Willow said "Thom thinks im still dealing with trauma from Eric, Dean and Victor. To be honest, i think hes right. Especially with Victor, he still scares me even now" "You dont need to be Wills. Hes going away for a long long time" Matt replied as he kissed her forehead. "I dont deserve you Matt. Not after everything ive put you through, but i do love you" she said as she kissed him. "I love you too Wills" he replied as he kissed her back. "Matt, as much as i want to, i dont think we should have sex when the girls are just there. Can we just lay on the bed and chill?" Willow asked as Matt nodded, as he put his arms around her, Willow leaned into him before closing her eyes, "this feels so right" she whispered as she fell asleep.
