Ok, like always, I don't own destiny or ATLA. Please leave reviews to help improve my writing and motivate me to push these stories out faster. Also, sorry for the late chapter kept rewriting this and new destiny updates, so I played those as well. Also, my IRL job with me constantly doing graveyard shifts. So there's that, and I'm introducing arc 2.0 and solar 2.0.

(7 years later)

Eight didn't want to admit it, but she knew she was lost. Yeah, she got lucky in finding a map and making a copy, but it's not like she could understand anything here. But it was still a rough seven years, but right now, Eight is at a temple for air nomads: Who are all promptly dead. Which was great for her until all the dead bodies she scanned never held fruit of them being her Guardian.

"GAAAHHH, I THOUGHT GOING TO ANOTHER WORLD WOULD GIVE ME MORE OF A CHANCE OF FINDING A GUARDIAN, ESPECIALLY WHERE THERE ARE NO OTHER GHOSTS!" She yelled out, sighing; she continued scanning other bodies and eventually went into a hut. "Woah, this man managed to kill a good bunch of these fire nation guys. I wonder if he's the lucky guy." Immediately she began scanning the skeleton but was unsurprisingly disappointed.

She was about to leave when she heard something approaching. Acting quickly, she hid under the many bodies and waited. Peaking out, Eight saw an animal leap by a hide somewhere. A boy in an orange poncho, yellow shirt, and pants with a blue arrow on his forehead soon entered, most likely looking for the animal. But by his looks, the boy became very distressed by what he saw. Eight turned to see what the boy was looking at and noticed that the other yellow-clothed skeleton looked like the boy. Soon the boy fell onto his knees and started crying. She felt terrible for the boy, but another boy in blue winter clothing and light brown skin soon interrupted the tiny silence. It didn't take long for the boy to catch on to why the boy was crying. But what caught Eight by surprise was the boy exploding into a blast of wind. The force of the blast ended up launching her out of the building until she stabilized herself in the air. Looking back at the area where she was blown out, what she saw amazed her. The boy with the arrowhead had a vortex of wind surrounding him.

"Woah," she said with awe.

"What in the world was that!" Looking back at the building, Eight saw the boy float with a wind vortex surrounding his whole body. She also saw another person show up looking like the other boy in blue winter clothing but female. But whatever the girl said to the boy calmed him down, and the wind vortex surrounding him stopped.

"Well, you don't see that every day. Yeah, I think imma go somewhere else." Not wanting to involve herself more, Eight explored the temple with the statues inside, hoping to find a Guardian.

Upon arriving at the temple, Eight began scanning the surrounding area, but what caught her interest was that all the statues were scanning remnants of light. She scanned the other statue, and all had the same remains of recent light being fused. She was about to continue scanning something when she heard something approach behind her. Turning around, she saw the boy who had caused the small wind vortex.

He was staring at her in awe, and Eight just stayed there, not knowing what to say.

"Uh, hi. Do you often visit here? Please don't answer that. By the looks of it, clearly not." With a sigh, Eight finally introduced herself, "Hi, my name is Eight; what's yours." she said with a cheery voice

"Oh um im Aang, im a air bender. What are you? Are you a spirit?"

"... What? No, I'm a ghost, not like a dead person's ghost. Just a ghost looking for her Guardian. Yeah, I'm not making this any better to understand. Look, it's a long story, alright, and wha-" whatever Eight was gonna say was cut off as she was jumped by a lemur.

Aang, in a panic, tried to get the lemur off of Eight, but the lemur was holding on quite tight. This struggle continued until his friends arrived and helped him get the lemur off Eight.

"Ah, thank you!" hurrying away from the lemur that was still reaching for her, "and keep it far away from me!"

"So, Aang, care to introduce us to who or what this thing is?" said the boy in blue winter clothing.

"Oh, this is Eight, and she says she's a ghost." saying that caused the boy in blue to raise his left eyebrow.

"Right, and I'm a dragon." was his response.

"Hey, it's true I am a ghost and not those dead soul ghosts, a different one."

"Then what type of ghost are you?" this time, it was said by the female in blue.

"Well, as I was telling him," she said, turning a facing Aang, "that's a long story."

"Well, we just packed up all of our stuff. Perhaps you could join us and also tell your story. It would make the ride less boring." offered the blue girl. Eight just squinted her single before accepting in a joyance voice.

(Idk how much time passed, just that they are almost at Kyoshi)

"-and that was why Traveler the created us. So that we may search the remains of humanity, hoping to find a Guardian. Of course, I still haven't found one."

"That's awful, having nearly all of humanity wiped out. I thought our world was doing bad with the war. But your world, it's just impossible." Said Katara, which also got nods from the other two.

"Eh, don't sweat it with the Guardians and all that the city manages to stay strong. But enough of me and my world. What about you guys? The only explanation I have gotten was this giant flying buffalo. And y'all remember how I reacted."

(Quick flashback)

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!" Eight screamed out while looking at the flying bison as it ate something.

(Flashback end)

"And, I may have overreacted a lot. But still, it's best if I know more and who better than the natives of this world." Everyone proceeds to explain the world's current predicament, how Aang is the avatar, and how they are trying to go to the north pole. With all the done, Sokka went to go check on the map.

"You have no idea where you're going, do you?" He finally said after a slight pause.

"I know that it's near water," said Aang which both Sokka and eight responded with the same sarcastic quip.

It was a bit longer until they arrived on an island for some rest. From what Eight could tell, Aang only wanted to stay here for something else. And as Sokka said, it's hard to argue with a flying 10-ton buffalo monster.

"So why did you decide to stop here for rest?" Eight asked

"You'll see. Look over there!" pointing at something, Aang quickly began taking off his clothes and dove into the water, swimming for something. Eight flew a bit higher and saw what Aang was swimming after.

"What the fuck? There are even giant koi fish. I swear, if I see a giant leviathan, I'm never flying over the water again." Not so long after, Aang began swimming with the giant koi. A giant eel appeared, causing Aang to quickly run back over. "Welp, that settles that I'm not flying over the water unless I'm 1000 feet over the air."

Eight flew over to Aang and scanned him for any injuries. "Eh, no injuries. You got lucky and escaped on time before it could nibble you."

"Well, then that's good. Let's get out of here before that thing in the water does or whatever else is in there." But before they could do anything, they got jumped by a group of people in green clothing. Sokka was quickly put down, Katara was blinded by her own hood and thrown down, Aang was knocked down, and momo was put into a sack. For Eight, though, she was flying around screaming before disappearing in a flash of light.

Reappearing somewhere close, Eight saw the group being taken somewhere else. Following close, Eight got distracted by a sound and chose to follow it.

(1 hour later)

"Oh no." Ahead of her was a pyramid structure with what looked like two of the Fanatic's chosen guarding it but with purple armor than their usual yellow. She also sees very few bodies of what look to be the same warriors with white makeup covering their faces and green clothing. "I'm not going to risk scanning them to see if they'll be my Guardian if there's Scorn here. But I do have to warn the others and contact Kilios Ghost."

Quickly flying away, Eight tries contacting Ed, it takes a bit, but Ed responds.

"Eight, is that you?" said Ed in his synthetic voice.

"Yes, yes, it's nice to hear ya again. Look, colossal problem Im at a random island, and on it, I found a pyramid structure occupied by some scorn! They had already killed some of the inhabitants of the island! YOU HAVE TO GET HERE QUICK!" Eight blurted out.

"Alright! We'll be there as fast as possible; send us the coordinates, and we'll try to get there as quickly as possible.

Quickly sending her location to Ed, Eight ended the call and started flying to where she hoped the others were.

(later)

After ten minutes, Eight did manage to find the gang again, not before almost being forced into a sack by some of the warriors there. But still, Eight came with bad news as she explained what she found to the avatar gang and the Kyoshi warriors. But the warriors weren't happy that Eight was discouraging them not to fight the Scorn.

"What do you mean not try to engage them?! Would you rather have us here stuck like sitting turtle ducks while those things continue to kill more of our people and warriors!" Exclaimed Suki getting nods from the other warriors as well.

"Look, I know you don't want to hide like cowards, but Scorn are not something you can fight even with this number of people. You'll be killed before you even kill one of them. They are basically unkillable with your weaponry. Even if you decapitate one, they'll still try to attack you. Not only that, there are TWO Fanatics chosen, which are already hard to kill with our weaponry. Fight them, and it's an early grave." Many Kyoshi warriors stare intensely at the Ghost before Suki gives in.

"Alright, then what do YOU suggest we do then?" Which surprised Eight with Suki's somewhat willingness.

There is a slight pause before Eight comes up with an idea. "You need to leave this island. There is no fighting them with your weaponry. You have to prepare your boats and leave immediately, or else there will be a bloodbath."

So the Kyoshi warriors and the gang spread the message for people to leave the village. Unsurprisingly people weren't too happy about it but soon changed their minds when Eight projected a video of Scorn fighting some guardian. Soon the rest of the day went on with people packing their belongings and getting boats ready.

But before they were finished, Eight got a call from Ed.

"Eight bad news, there is a forcefield surrounding the island we can't get in!" his voice sounding grim. We've been trying to find a way in for the past hour; you're all stuck there.

Eight was speechless. Quickly flying out onto the water, Eight soon found the edge of the forcefield that was there. Flying near the field, she confirmed the island was covered in a forcefield. But why?

"Ed, got any idea on how to get in?"

"Right now, no, but Kilios thinks the shard we found may help us enter. We'll fly back to the base and retrieve it. You guys stay safe." With that said, Ed ends the call. Eight, not wanting to waste any time, went back to the village.

After flying back, Eight told the news to everyone, which caused a panic.

But the one to calm it down was Aang.

"Please, everyone, panicking won't help us! We must stay calm, or else we will accomplish nothing like this."

"Then what are we supposed to do if we can't escape!?" yelled a villager.

"We need to barricade the surrounding village. We must make fortifications around the village so no Scorn will get in easily." This time it was yelled out by Suki.

"Yes, a good idea. It may not be much, but it's better than nothing." said Eight.

The next day, everyone in the village spent the day building fortifications around the village. Once done, they started making makeshift weapons or using farming tools as weapons. Katara was helping with rationing and calming everyone. And Anng and Sokka were helping in guarding the barricade. On the second day, a wandering scorn was spotted near the village. Eight told them to not attack it, but if they must, a sneak attack was good. They managed to kill it but didn't expect the Scorn to come back to life so fast. The single Scorn managed to kill 5 Kyoshi warriors and injure Sokka's back. When it fell again, Eight Yelled at them to use its weapon to kill it. Suki, who was close, picked up the weapon and charged it before shooting it, instantly disintegrating the Scorn. After that, the day was spent burying the 5 who were killed.

The weapon that was picked up by Suki, Eight, taught her how to properly use it and proper gun safety. On the third day, another group of wandering Scorn came but was quickly dispatched by Suki and some other Kyoshi warriors. Despite the advantage of a gun, The 3 Scorn killed 3 more Kyoshi warriors giving them a quick burial and taking the dead Scorn's weapons. But on the fourth day, everything went to hell. The Scorn launched an attack on the village, killing half of the villagers and leaving only 12 surviving Kyoshi members. They managed to kill them all off, but the losses were noticeable. With low morale, even with the avatar, people have lost hope. Even the Kyoshi warriors Have given up. Finally, the fifth day came, and everyone saw a ship fly over the village.

(Kilios pov)

Kilios's ship flew over the village, and he was promptly transmitted to the middle of the village. The people who saw him looked in awe at his appearance, his golden armor glistening in the sunlight. It didn't take long for the Kyoshi warriors and the avatar gang to come and check out the commotion. They were also in awe, except for Eight, who showed up looking mad.

"FINALLY, YOU ARRIVED!" cried out Eight, which caused some of the surrounding people and Kilios to cringe. "I WAS SO WORRIED IN THE LAST FIVE DAYS WE MAY HAVE BEEN OVERRUN BY SCORN! WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG ANYWAYS!" she finished with a huff before staring intently at him.

"Ow, why did you have to scream?" Kilios groaned. "Lovely to meet you too... who are you again?" Eight just stared at kilios in disbelief before she remembered his horrible memory.

"Ah, forget it! Wasn't there a forcefield over the island? How did you get in? Are you also stuck here!" Eight ended up just crying fake tears in front of everyone.

"No, we aren't stuck," Said Ed appearing in a flash of light. "And we took long because the shard we had at base disappeared. We spent the next few days flying around the world looking for another shard and found one. Then we came here as fast as we could, and the shard reacted quickly to the force field. There ain't no forcefield up now, so it's best if everyone here starts evacuating immediately." Once Ed said that everyone stared at and even Eight stopped 'crying.'

"Well, what are you waiting for!? Start packing your thing and get out of here. I'll keep watch for any scorn and protect you all." Kilios yelled, which caused everyone to start heading home and getting their belongings. Turning towards Eight, he spoke, "So, what was your name again?"

"Eight."

"Right now, I remember you! You came with us when the ship malfunctioned. How you've been..." with a quick pause, Kilios continued. "Don't answer that. By the way, how your friends behind you look, it must've not been so well.

Eight turned around and saw everyone very close by now, which caused her to yelp and back up a bit. "Oh yeah! Everyone meet Kilios-86, wielder of the light and Guardian of humanity." Kilios causally waved at everyone. "And Kilios, the blue ones here are Sokka and Katara, the yellow one is Aang, the avatar, and the green girls over here are the Kyoshi warriors!"

Quickly turning back at them, she faced Kilios again but spoke in a more downcast voice, "Well, what's left of them anyways." Which caused everyone to look more distraught.

Kilios stared at everyone in front of them. They looked miserable, so much so it looked like some had just finished crying, and others had black bags under their eyes. Some still even had fresh wounds healing and bruises. It saddened Kilios that he couldn't get here faster than so much destruction was caused because he could not find the shard fast enough. With a quick sigh, Kilios spoke. "Anyone here hungry I got some food like jerky and chocolate bars to give you some energy. If there's going to be an attack soon, better fight with some energy in y'all." Getting nods from everyone. Kilios starts getting some jerky from his inventory and passing it out to everyone in front of them.

Once all the food was passed out, everyone ate their food in silence while sitting on the dirt. Some did show shocked expressions from the chocolate and gave them a brief smile, but once it was gone, so was their smile, bringing them back to the sadness of things. Some warriors were done eating their food when a bell started to ring, indicating an attack.

"Everyone battle station, let's go, ladies!" Suki said, causing the last Kyoshi warriors to go to the scene and the civilians to hurry in, getting stuck and evacuating. Kilios also ran with the warriors, pulling out his weapon Dead Man Tales.

They arrived at the barricades and saw more Scorn rushing the warriors as they tried fighting them off with their own swords and the weapons they got from them.

He began promptly shooting and killing Scorn one by one, making sure not to hit the Kyoshi warriors. He then heard a yell of pain and turned to see a Kyoshi warrior holding their arm, which was now a stump. He turned and saw a raider charging another shot to do a final blow but was shot down by Kilios. Slowly but surely, the Scorn was killed off. Due to Kilios being there, no one died except a few who were just injured or, for the one Kyoshi warrior: missing an arm.

They didn't have much time to rest as a rift opened to soon reveal an abomination and more Scorn. Kilios, not wanting no one to die, just charged in. He took out his sword, The Other Half, and began swinging at the Scorn and soon the Abomination. With each swing, the Abomination tanked the damage it was receiving. Soon it slammed its hand on the floor, causing a blast, which launched Kilios back.

Kilios gets to see the other Kyoshi warriors, armed with Scorn weapons, begin shooting at it. Kilios then charged his arc light and launched like a rocket at the Scorn, killing it with its arc blast. The blast left nothing and atomized the surrounding dead Scorn bodies. Kilios thought it was over, but a random beam was shot out and hit a boy in the gut. A cry was heard from them, but kilios wasted no time before he aimed his weapon at where the beam came from. Seeing his target, he took his shot, hearing a distant release of corrupted ether.

Turning his head around, he saw all the Kyoshi warriors standing around their fallen comrade. Getting close, Kilios kneeled next to the boy and brought his ghost out. Ed quickly scanned him and found the problem.

"Alright, good news. Luckily, and I really mean it, the shot avoided all organs. Due to the solar laser, the wound inside was instantly cauterized. But we need to cut the wound again and stitch it up." Ed said, which caused the boy to look terrified at the thought of having to cut the wound again for it to heal correctly. "Ok, quickly start joining the others in evacuating. We'll take care of the rest of the Scorn here." Not arguing, Sokka, who was close, picked Aang up and put his arm around his shoulder. With some pain due to his still healing back plus with the help of Suki helped carry him over to Appa, who was somewhere.

Once gone, Kilios turned Eight. "Eight, do you know where the location of the pyramid structure is?"

"Oh yes, of course! How could I almost forget it's in the middle east of the island. There I saw two fanatics chosen there as well. Look, it's been a hellish few days here with tons of innocent people dying. Just make sure you two don't die, alright. I'll check on the others and see how the evacuation is going. Also, I pin the location on your map." those final words said. Eight flew away, and kilios wasted no time making his way to the pyramid structure.

It wasn't easy to get there since Kilios was constantly getting attacked by Scorn, needing him to get off his sparrow and fight them.

"Alright, Ed, any plans?"

"Evacuating the civilians is most likely done. So we can cross that out now. Now for current plans, Kill the Scorn here and see if this structure has the portal we need to get back home. After we are done, help the rest; if there are any villagers left, evacuate the village."

"Alright, a solid plan; let's roll." Pulling out Graviton Lance, Killios kills the surrounding Scorn and closes in on the structure. Getting closer, he notices the surrounding area starts to look and become more swap-like. There are even staches of pyramid tech and buildings. Upon arrival, Kilios couldn't help but freeze at who he saw standing near the structure. Ed also gave his own comment on who they saw. Said being, also noticed Kilios and began chuckling.

"Well, looks like we meet again, Guardian, even after avenging Cayde's death and you killing me so many times. We somehow still find ways to meet. Like you, I am also quite surprised to find you here." Standing before them was the Fanatic Fikrul. Kilios aimed his weapon at him, ready for a fight. Still, however, the Fanatic only lifts a hand, and a field is placed before him and Kilios. "You will not impede on the Witness goal Guardian, and you will not kill me here. We will meet again, Guardian, but for now, enjoy playing with my chosen." With another laugh, the Fanatic vanishes and is soon replaced by his two chosen and some more Scorn.

"How in the world is the Fanatic here!" exclaimed Ed as Kilios was fighting the horde of Scorn.

"No clue, but the Fanatic saying that the Witness has a goal with this world means that this place is in even more trouble than we thought!" Avoiding a swing from a Wraith. Kilios throws a grenade onto the floor. "We need to get the portal out fast. If not, I'm not sure how we'll do if the Witness gets his way with this world!" Kilios then activates his solar super and throws sol hammers at the Scorn. Kilios continues to fight the Scorn and the Fanatic's chosen, taking tons of hits and having to do hit-and-run tactics on them.

"There are too many Scorn; they just keep coming!" said Kilios as he finally killed one of the Fanatics chosen. "Ed, call my ship close by. We need to retreat once I do something. It'll be risky, but if I can do it, we can get out of here, hopefully." When hearing an ok from Ed, Kilios goes into his void super and starts rushing the Scorn. He starts running straight to the pyramid structure and up its stairs. Once up, Kilios sees the Portal device and the locks surrounding it. Quickly getting the shard out, Kilios uses it on one of them. One of the locks reacts to it and gets destroyed, not wanting to waste more time. Kilios jumps off the structure while using his lift ability and slam his shield in the wave of Scorn on the floor, causing a big chain reaction of void explosions. Seeing his ship nearby, Kilios gets in range and is teleported into his ship and shot off.

"Ok, I can't believe that worked. But why was there so much Scorn?" Kilios pondered in his ship. Ed appearing next to him, also wondered the same thing.

"Maybe it's a sort of breeding ground there. If so, we may have to return one day and destroy it. We might need a bomb like one of those super weapons we see those Scorn trying to transport through Savathûns throne world."

"Hmm, most likely, then. Quickly call Eight and tell her the situation. We got a lot of work to do today."

(Fanatics pov)

The Fanatic appears in a void of blue light. In front of him was a pyramid ship, empty but full of technology. Walking over to one of the techs, he picks up his new staff. Rather than having a blue crystal as the spearhead, this time, his new weapon was a trident with pyramid tech for its designs. The tips of the prongs gave out different sets of power, but one noticeable one was a green strang tangling all over him. He laughs as he will enjoy using this new weapon.

(So yeah, what did you all think? Was it worth the 7-month wait? Once again, I'm sorry about the wait. I got a job that ended up giving me tons of graveyard shifts, leaving only at night to do these sorts of things which I didn't really want to do but more like sleep or play some video games than write. Also, when I kept writing this chapter, I hated where it was going and rewrote it. Even now, I wouldn't say I like this one too much, but still, it's way better than the others. Also, so much for posting before the new year. Either way, Kyoshi people have to abandon Kyoshi island, significant canon divergence, and the Fanatic showing up. For Kyoshi pt.2, it won't be the next chapter but an upcoming one saying they will return to it later. But yeah hope you enjoy this chapter and hope I post one in less than 7 months.)
