It didn't take long for the bell to ring signaling the end of lunch. Beck and Jade had to make their way out of the safety of the janitor's closet and back into the world.

They didn't talk for the rest of the day, mostly because there was no time. Beck found Jade again standing by her locker at the end of the day.

"Hey," he greeted simply. Mostly just to get Jade's attention.

"Hey."

"So, do you want to come to the RV to talk about stuff? About how we're going to make this work?"

Jade sighed heavily. "Beck, I'm exhausted. I feel sick and my head hurts. I just want to go to sleep. Can we talk tomorrow?"

"Yeah, yeah, that's fine," Beck muttered.

Jade waited for him to walk away from the locker, as she shut it she finally asked "What?"

"Well I was just-- If you wanted to come over and just relax in the RV, that'd be fine."

"That'd be fine?" Jade wasn't exactly sure why the wording rubbed her the wrong way, but it did.

"I know a lot has changed, but I doubt that you hating your house has changed. It doesn't have to be a 'thing' for you to come over and hang out." Beck looked hopefully at Jade. He wanted so badly for her to say yes.

"Okay." Jade bit back her desire to snap at Beck. She wasn't even sure why she was mad at him or what he said.

"Alright, well I'll see you whenever you come over." Beck nodded before walking away from Jade's locker.

Jade stood confused at the interaction for a moment. Before she could start on her way to her car a voice distracted her.

"So you and Beck talked?" Tori Vega appeared at Jade's side.

"So you and Beck talked?" Jade mocked.

"I don't sound like that!" Tori tensed up in frustration.

"You can't ever keep your nose out of other people's business, can you?" Jade asked, venom laced in her tone.

"Beck had to know what was going on. You couldn't just get an abortion without letting him be apart of that decision."

"That wasn't your choice to make."

"He had to know! It would have been wrong for you to hide it from him." Tori spoke to Jade like she was a child. It made it incredibly difficult for Jade to keep calm.

She wanted to find a tub of mayonnaise and throw it at Tori's head. Two months ago, she would have.

But Beck would be upset with her, and she had to try to keep her temper in check for him.

"Did it at any point occur to you to talk to me about it before you ran off to tell Beck? To at least try to allow me to make the decision to tell him?" Jade did allow the anger to be evident in her voice.

Tori shifted uncomfortably. "Well n-no."

"Exactly. Don't think you have the moral high ground here," Jade spat angrily. "If you just wanted to do the right thing, you would have tried to convince me to tell him. Face it, you just wanted the drama."

"I just--" Tori tried to explain more, but Jade cut her off.

"Don't make me lose it. Leave me alone." She warned much more kindly than she usually would have.

Jade stalked angrily to her car in the parking lot. She didn't allow herself to boil in the anger she felt towards Tori. She had much bigger things to worry about than her.

She drove to Beck's RV easily. The route would be forever burned into her brain. Before she knew it, she was walking towards the RV like she had so many times before.

It didn't occur to Jade until that moment that Beck's parents would see her car in their driveway and know she was there.

They would ask Beck questions, what would he tell them?

Jade wasn't ready for parents to start found out about their situation, but she knew Beck would want his parents to know as soon as possible.

Jade knocked on the metal side of the RV. After a moment, Beck pushes open the door. He looked quizzically at Jade.

"You knocked." He half-pointed-out-half-asked.

Jade shook her head. "I didn't know if you'd be okay with me just coming in anymore."

Beck moved aside to let her in, pulling the door closed behind them. Jade walked to Becks bed and sat on the edge of it.

"I know you don't want to talk, but I just need to say one thing." Beck sat next to Jade on the bed.

"Beck," Jade groaned.

"Just let me talk. It's just one thing," he assured her. "If we're going to do this, I think it's best that we try to just pick up right where we left off, and work things out from there.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that when you come to the RV, just walk in and make yourself comfortable wherever you feel like just like you used to. It means that I won't hesitate to wrap my arm around you as we walk in school. It means that we go back to feeling comfortable around each other. But we'll be better because unlike last time we're going to work on our issues." Beck looked hopefully at Jade, he needed his speech to get through to her.

It took a second, but Jade nodded slowly. "Okay," she agreed.

Beck didn't stop the smile that tugged at his lips. "Okay. I have some homework to do, so just... Put on a movie and take a nap or whatever you want to do."

Jade did as Beck said. She moved back into a comfortable position on the bed as Beck pulled out his laptop and got to work. She allowed some lame movie to play on the TV, mostly as background noise, while she allowed herself to drift off.

Sorry about the short chapter. It just felt weird to continue the chapter after Jade falls asleep, and I'm trying to allow my writing flow to improve. One of my methods for making that improvement is by not dragging things out for no reason. So, short and sweet.

Though I already have more of the story mapped out and am ready to write it, I intended to include more in this chapter. I only stopped because it kind of reached it's logical conclusion.

Another chapter should be up anywhere from a couple of hours to maybe a day max.

The rest of this authors note will just be me responding to my lovely commenters (or is it reviewers?) So if you have no interest in any of that, feel free to charge on to the next chapter.

Loupdreams: I am definitely very excited for what I intend to have unfold with that storyline. I promise not to disappoint!

Guest: Next goal on my agenda is writing up a summary, thanks for reminding me of that. I honestly thought would be like Wattpad and it would take months for anything I wrote to get any traction. I didn't expect people to find the story so quickly and thought a summary wouldn't matter.

Guest: Agreed lol. Honestly though, I felt like that would be very in character for Tori. I don't hate her nearly as much as a lot of the fandom does. I think she generally is someone who tries to do the right things, but she has a massive "holier than thou" attitude problem that makes her ignore other people's advice and opinions. Which is incredibly annoying. So I think her telling Beck like that was fitting. There is no denying that Beck needed to know about the pregnancy, but Tori never stopped to think about giving Jade the chance to change her mind and do it herself. Tori's heart was in the right place, but her ego got in the way and made her do the wrong thing. -- But also Tori is sometimes just a bad person lol.
