Day 18. Forced To Watch Continues on from Chapter 5: Day 16 "Does That Hurt?"
Characters: Scott, Gordon
Warnings: beatings, blood, broken bones, restrained.
Scott watched the screen before him.
Bound to a chair that in turn was bolted to the floor, Scott watched. Gordon was taking this beating for him and he wouldn't do his brother the disservice of looking away. Not that the men were giving him any choice in the matter.
'Have it your way. But I'm telling you now, I will break every bone in your body until you answer me.'
He spat at the man.
'Go ahead.'
At Gordon's vehemence Scott grinned. Then grimaced as the men set to on his brother again. The beating went on and on until Gordon spat out a mouthful of blood. It seemed to be a signal for them to stop.
Hands clamped onto his shoulders, squeezing tightly and causing his broken collarbone to grind. Scott bit down hard to stop crying out as the man behind him breathed in his ear, whispering.
'You can stop this all, Commander. Just one word and I'll let your brother go.'
'No. I can't.
'Can't, Commander? Oh no. This isn't a case that you can't.'
'I can't!'
The hands squeezed again. Hard enough for Scott to grunt try and his body to curl away despite him trying hard not to react.
'Watch, Commander. Watch and live with the fact that you could have saved your brother at any time and you chose not to.'
There must have been a hidden signal of some kind as the men pulled Gordon up and began to lay into him again.
'You chose this, Commander. Now watch.'
