Note: the previous chapter kinda sucked, so sorry, but ill try to make this one better. Im planning out a meeting between shield and harry, and the start of avengers soon

While Peter and Tony were at Stark Industries, whipping up all sorts of new gadgets to use in their fight against crime, Harry was looking more into the fact he was being watched constantly. He decided the best way to find out more was to determine who was watching him, and why. This plan in mind, he was walking around the city, waiting for his watcher to find him. Finally, just as he was stepping out of the cafe he had visited yesterday, he noticed a pair of eyes watching him very inconspicuously from the rooftop of the building across from the cafe. Harry smirked, and walked a bit closer to the building without showing any signs of noticing his watcher, and made a huge show of covering a yawn with his hands. He then walked back to Stark Industries. The watcher noticed his path, and left. However, finding him again would be extremely easy with the Tracking Charm Harry had sniped him with.

After spending a fun day with Tony and Peter, who were debating over the best Star Wars movie (Peter apparently liked the Sequels; Tony had almost kicked him out of the tower), Harry decided to follow his Tracking Charm. Hopping on his broom, he started flying towards the direction the Charm was telling him to go. When he had nearly reached his destination, Harry was met with an awe-striking sight. A huge craft of some sort was flying in the air! It looked like an Aircraft Carrier, but massive, not to mention with for huge turbines that seemed to be the reason the craft was hovering. Harry quickly grabbed his Cloak of Invisibility from his pocket, which had been enchanted to have near infinite space, and put it around him. He quickly flew over to and landed on the aircraft. Stowing his broom, he started following the path of the Tracking Charm to his watcher. Dodging uniformed men and women that seemed to work aboard the craft, he made his way to the door of an office labeled "Director Fury". Harry was about to cast an Eavesdropping Charm on the door, when one of the workers on the vessel opened the door. Taking the chance, while the door was slightly ajar, Harry slipped into the room. He saw his watcher, standing, in front of the desk of a powerfully built man wearing an eyepatch.

"I understand, Agent LaCroix. I'll send a team there after I'm done here," spoke the man sitting behind the desk.

The man Harry had come in with (not that he knew, of course) nodded, and left.

The man behind the desk, whom Harry assumed was Director Fury, turned back around to face Harry's watcher.

"So, Agent Barton, report?"

Harry's watcher, now identified as Agent Barton, straightened up. "He hasn't done much, sir, he seems to have spent the day wandering around the city. He returned to Stark Industries after his wandering."

Director Fury nodded. "Alright. Dismissed."

Agent Barton left the room.

Harry thought about his next action. He had learned to apparate silently, and could easily leave the room undetected. Or, he could take the more fun, and much more risky method. Sitting down in a seat across from Fury's desk, he removed the Cloak of Invisibility.

"Hello there!"

Fury instantly drew his firearm, and shot Harry in the chest three times. Harry, who was wearing his Dragonhide Cloak, was completely fine.

Harry smiled benignly. "You done?"

Fury glared at him. "Identify yourself."

Harry laughed. "You've been tracking me for a while, and you don't even know my name?"

Fury's face remained stoic. "Harry."

Grinning, Harry replied, "Got it in one! Now, can you put that gun away?"

Fury's angry eyes stayed on Harry's nonchalant ones, but he stowed away the gun. "What are you doing here?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Harry frowned, "I noticed you had that Agent Barton watching me, and so I tracked this place down."

Fury was shocked. What was this guy? Not only did he detect that he was being watched by Barton, one of his best agents, but he had managed to track Barton down to the Helicarrier. "So, Harry," Fury spoke, after regaining focus, "We're gonna have to come to an agreement here. I'm gonna extend an olive branch, and instead of having you sent to a top secret prison, I'll give you a job; pay, housing, everything you'll need."

Harry scoffed. "Thanks, but no thanks. I don't need anything you have to offer. As for the alternative... try me."

Fury narrowed his eyes. "I'm afraid there is no way you can leave here without signing on with S.H.I.E.L.D in some way. Perhaps, like your friend Tony Stark-"

Harry interrupted him here. "Tony? How do you know Tony?"

"He didn't tell you? He was in trouble a while ago. Dying, and had a problem with a man named Ivan Vanko. We at S.H.I.E.L.D helped him, and he signed on as... a freelance consultant. I recommend you do the same, or I will be... forced to enact some protocols you will not like."

Harry remembered Tony speaking of some "secret agent friends". He figured that if Tony Stark, the king of stubbornness, had signed on with this organization, it couldn't be so bad. "Alright then, Fury, what would this job entail?"

While outwardly he remained stoic, Fury was relieved. He had observed how powerful Harry seemed to be, and was sure he had more tricks up his sleeve. "You'll be free, mostly, but if S.H.I.E.L.D has need of you, we will call you in to help. It's the only way I can assure my superiors you are... under control."

Harry smirked. "That sounds fine, Fury. I suppose we will be in touch, then."

"Yes, I suppose so," Fury growled. "Now please, get off my Helicarrier."

Harry grinned. "With pleasure." With a dramatic turn, he vanished.

Fury held his head. Though he had Harry somewhat "under control" now, he couldn't shake the feeling that Harry was the one orchestrating the whole ordeal.

"Hey Tony! I met those secret agent guys you were talking 'bout earlier," Harry exclaimed, "And, like you, I'm now a consultant of them."

Tony looked over at him and grinned. "Cool! Now we're both super secret age-"

He was cut off by Harry's phone ringing. "'Sorry, Tony," Harry said.

Tony just waved his hand, in a clear gesture of Don't worry abut it.

Harry picked up the phone. "You know, Fury, when I said I'd be a consultant I didn't think I'd be... consulted, so soon."

Tony noticed that Harry abruptly stood up straight. "A Tesseract? Loki? Alright, I'm on my way."

"What was that about?" Tony asked.

Harry glanced over at him, while putting on his Dragonhide Cloak. "One of S.H.I.E.L.D's bases storing an extremely powerful artifact, the Tesseract, was attacked by a Norse God. Fury needs help."

Tony nodded. "I'll come with." He quickly called his suit to him, while Harry stared.

"That's new," Harry remarked.

Tony chuckled. "You have no idea how much I've done with these suits since the last time you saw me in one."

Harry nodded his understanding. "Follow me. Fury's given me the coordinates to the base."

"Took you long enough," growled Fury, "and I don't remember inviting you, Stark."

"Sounded like you needed all the help you could get, Fury," grinned Tony.

Fury glared.

Harry spoke, breaking the tension. "So what happened here?" He looked around at the destroyed base.

Fury turned to him. "Are you aware of the events that happened recently in New Mexico?"

Harry shook his head, but Tony nodded. "Puente Antiguo, right?"

Fury looked sharply at Tony. "How do you know that?"

Tony smiled. "I kinda hacked into S.H.I.E.L.D's database and looked through all your information."

Fury glared at him, but took no further action. Looking back at Harry, he continued speaking. "In New Mexico, we had a... situation wherein a foreing being, from another planet, visited. He fought another thing from his planet, and it leveled a whole city. Now, his brother is here, and it seems this brother's intentions include world domination."

Harry nodded to show his understanding. "And what do you propose we do?"

Fury here, looked almost- almost, uncertain about his next words. Carefully, he spoke. "I'm putting together a team, of... powerful individuals, to stop Loki."

Tony looked at him. "I thought the Avengers Initiative was scrapped. Not that I qualified, anyways."

Fury nodded. "It was, but now the world needs it to be back. The power of the Tesseract is nearly infinite. We are currently tracking down a person who may be able to track it."

Harry nodded. "That answers the question of the plan, but right now, what is to be done?"

"Now, you come with me," Fury answered. "We'll be boarding the Helicarrier, and we're gonna track down this son-of-a-bitch and stop him."

Tony grinned. "Now we're talking!"

Bruce Banner looked at Natasha Romanoff, the Agent that S.H.I.E.L.D had sent to retrieve him. He knew there were men outside, and that if he acted the tiniest bit angry they'd shoot him. He wasn't sure if they had tranq darts or real rounds. Either way, he knew there was no way they could stop him. He looked at the Agent. "All you need is my help locating this Tesseract?"

"Yes," she confirmed. "Once the Tesseract, and Loki, have been located and dealt with, you'll be free to go."

Banner scoffed. He'd never really be free. "Alright. I'll go with you."

Natasha smiled, relieved. "Great. Follow me, then."

Note: i think this chapter is pretty good! hopefully it makes up for the abysmal one yesterday. I hope you like it! please review with any feedback you may have. :D
