Cesar or Tempest here. Well obviously this isn't a full chapter. I'm almost done with the next chapter but in the meantime I wrote a quick little scene with Bea and Jaxson I hope you alll enjoy.

Jaxson P.O.V

"Now it's time for our couples dance, grab a partner and let's end this night with a slow dance." Carnus called from the stage.

Well Jaxson all your preparation came to this moment. The embarrassment of asking Drew to teach you how to dance. The time you took practicing on your own. All for this. "Hey Nat I don't look like shit do I?" I asked the bartender while she cleaned a glass.

"You look fine, boss. You want a quick drink before you go?"

"No thanks Nat." I placed a drachma on the table as a tip. I got up off my stool and headed over to the VIP section where Bea was staying with her friends. "I don't look bad right Silence." One caw as a response. "Thanks I'll make sure to get you something nice later."

Bea was waiting for me outside the VIP area. She was wearing a beautiful red dress with a pearl bracelet and golden necklace. "What took you so long? People already started dancing."

"I had to make sure I was wearing my Sunday best. Don't want to embarrass my little damsel in distress would I?" She blushed. God I love teasing her.

"Just hurry up and take me to the floor we're already late as it is." I answered by taking her hand and walking side by side with her.

"Silence recon." Silence left my shoulder and flew up into the air. Me and Bea walked onto the floor where we began to dance. She put her arms on shoulders. I began following the rhythm of the song. Slowly moving along with Bea. I noticed she was a little slow on her movements. "Is this your first dance Bea?"

"Is it that obvious?" I shook my head.

"Don't worry about it. Just follow me and the music." We moved side by side.

"Was this your idea to have a slow dance?"

"It might've been. After all, I do look at everything going on here. I'm going to twirl you ok." I moved my left hand away and put my right hand above her head twirling her back to me.

"Don't ever do that to me again." I chuckled God, she's so cute.

"I warned you, didn't I?" We continued dancing.

"So where are we going on our next date?" Bea asked, looking away from me, her cheeks still red.

"Where would you like to go?" I changed my primary hand and continued dancing.

"It doesn't matter to me."

"Would you like to go to a nice restaurant like last time?"

"No, I'd like to do something more interesting." She said vaguely.

"How about a Ball. We could dance together again."

She laughed a little. "No, I think I'll pass."

"How about a concert? You know I can get you anywhere." I was running out of options. I can't go far without the threat of monsters even with the amount of mist I have.

"Of course I know that." She looked away again. "Maybe you can set up something yourself. Like a candlelit dinner."

A candlelit dinner. I'm surprised she wants to have a romantic night out. "I didn't know you've become a romantic. Have you been spending time with the Aphrodite kids?"

"No. But you certainly have. I doubt you knew how to dance like this."

"Guilty as charged. I have someone to impress after all. I'm going to tip you okay. Don't slip." I tipped her as she held the position for a second we locked eyes. Should I kiss her now? This would be the time right? I leaned my head down and kissed her on the forehead. Not today. Maybe I'll do it next time. "Why don't we call it a night? Unless you want to continue?"

"I wouldn't mind if we continued. We've only danced to one song." She answered back.

"As you wish my lady." And we continued dancing. I could see Travis and Connor sitting at a poker table both giving me a thumbs up. "Would you like me to cook for you for our special candlelit dinner?"

"Can you even cook?" She asked skeptically.

"I can learn just for you."

"Then I'd really like that."
