25. Chapter 25

Hello everyone, sorry for the wait my life has been a madhouse. Oh and before we started I would just like to say, I made up the Entelexeia population and birth rate. I based it on how few Entelexeia there are when we start looking for them in the game, and some facts I learned about animals in my classes. Oh and happy easter Now onto chapter 25.

Chapter 25

A Day Of Release

Oliver P.O.V.

After we lowered our weapons, we made our way to Rita's home. "Did you find out anything?" Estelle asked us as we entered Rita's home. "We've got a lead in a place called Egothor Forest." Yuri said to Estelle. "I'm pretty sure it's on the west side of Hypionia, to the south of here." Karol said to everyone. "Let me see." Ava said as she pulled out her map. "So here?" Ava asked Karol as she pointed to a part of the map. "Yeah that's it." Karol said to Ava.

"So Myorzo's in that forest?" Raven asked us. "No, but a door is." Judith said to Raven. "Huh? A door? What do you mean?" Rita asked us. "There's a door there that leads to Myorzo." Yuri said to Rita. "We were told the bell that opens the door is hidden in a cavern on a shore in Hypionia where red flowers bloom." Karol said to everyone. "This sounds like some kind of ruital." Hugo said to everyone. "It'd be faster to just go and check it out." Yuri said to everyone.

"First… let me rest…" Karol said to everyone as he took a set. "Perhaps we should get some rest before leaving?" Judith said to everyone. "But…" Yuri said to Judith. "We don't really have a choice." Rita said to everyone. "Beside we can rest while Ba'ul takes us to Hypionia." I said to everyone. "Oliver is right we can rest on the ride over so let's go." Yuri said to everyone, as we all started to leave.

As we started to leave Patty stopped. "Patty what is it?" I asked Patty. "I was just hoping to look for information about the Maris Stella here." Patty said to me. "Maybe, but we can look through the library later, after all it will be nice to have a relaxing and easy mission after we save the world." I said to Patty, making everyone laugh a little. "And maybe we can learn about Aifread along the way." Patty said to everyone.

"Did you just say Aifread?" A man's voice said to Patty. "Huh?" Estelle said as we noticed a male minner walking. "Hey, you. You that girl they been sayin' is Aifread's grandchild?" the man asked Patty. Patty said nothing. "So you neither admit nor deny it. Then I guess it must be true. Interesting. So you're the grandchild of the bastard who disgraced the guilds… heh. You just look like a regal brat to me." The man said to Patty. "And you look like another jerk to me." Ava said to the man, as she placed her hands on Patty's shoulders and pulled her close to her.

"What wrong brat. Can't you say something, can you even defend you and your own grandfather? Oh yeah, I guess that's something no one could ever defend, huh? Considerin' all the nastystuff he did." The man said to Patty. "How can you say such horrible things?!" Estelle asked the man. "How? Well, because it's the truth." The man said to Estelle. "And here's a few more. Patty hasn't done anything wrong. And you're nothing." I said to the man.

"How dare you! Hey, wait. You guys must be Siren's Fang's newest guild members, right?" The man asked us. "W-We're Brave Vesperia!" Karol said to the man. "Brave Vesperia? What a funny name! What kind of a guild is that?" The man asked Karol. "W-Well… it's, uh, you see…" Karol said to the man, not knowing what to say.

"It's a guild a jerk like you will never be a part of." I said to the man, finishing Karol's words. "How dare you. But I shouldn't be surprised. After all your thug." The man said to us. "And how are we all thugs?" Hugo asked the man. "Cause only thugs would be involved with Aifread. Brave Vesperia. Huh? It's good-for-nothing trash like you who have been tranishing what It means to be a guild." The man said to us.

"And what? You're a symbol of gold stander for the guild members. Picking on a little kid cause it's the only thing that makes you feel big." Ava said to the man. "Oliver is RIght. You're the good-for-nothing trash who's tarnishing the name of this city. "Y-you… You're Rita Mordio?! And you're Ava Ruby?!" The Man said to the girls. "It looks like there are a lot more vulgar pieces of trash than the last time I was here. Geez, it'll be a real nuisance if anyone thinks I'm associated with that man." Rita said to Ava. "I'm sorry Rita. on behalf of the guilds, allow me to fix this." Ava said to Rita, as she let go of Patty and grabbed the man.

"Now get lost or you're out of the guilds." Ava said to the man. "But you don't have the power to do that since The Don's death." the man said to Ava. "Maybe, but you seem to forget, you're out number 39 to one. And any one of us can put you into a full body cast." Ava said to the man. The man then looked around to see all the Pokemon getting ready to use an attack, and everyone, but Patty, grabbing their weapons, but not pulling them out.

"AAAAAAAAAH!" The man yelled as he ran away, falling his arms in the air. This caused all of us to laugh. Well all but Patty. "What is it Patty?" I asked Patty. "It's nothing." Patty said to me. "Patty being bullied is not nothing. I won't try and force you to talk. But we're for you, and we will help you stand up to people like that guy." I said to Patty. "Speaking of that guy. What are we gonna to do? I'm pretty sure that guy's going to spread rumors." Karol said to everyone.

"I don't care. If that's the kind of thing that could destroy our guild, we would've been finished a long time ago." Yuri said to Karol. "Yuri's right. I can only imagine all the rumors that circle around us." I said to everyone. "Yeah, we should just let people say what they're going to say." Judith said to everyone. "I…" Patty said but couldn't finish her thought. "Anyway back to work. We have to find a shore in Hypionia where red flowers bloom right?" Hugo asked everyone. "Ah, yeah." Karol said to everyone. "Then let's get going." Yuri said as we headed for Ba'ul.

After we got to Ba'ul, we headed for Hypionia. But when we got there it was night, so me, Ava, and Hugo returned our Pokemon to their Pokeballs, and we all went to bed after finding an isolated area for Ba'ul. The next morning we started to look around for the Shore with the red flowers. And after searching all morning we only found one shore with red flowers. We had Ba'ul land next to it.

"This is it!... Right?" Karol asked everyone. "Considering we spent hours looking around and this is the only place with red flowers. I'm going to say yes." Ava said to Karol. "It matches the description Tort gave us, but…" Yuri said to everyone. "A shore in Hypionia where red flowers bloom, right?" Estelle asked everyone. "Maybe Tort tricked you guys." Rita said to everyone. "I don't think that's it. We're missing something." I said to Rita. "Wait." Judith said, getting everyone's attention.

"I can feel a draft coming from in there." Judith said to everyone, as she looked at a rock wall. I then walked next to Judith, and banded one of my maces against the rocks, and noticed that a smaller section of the rocks gave off a different sound then the rest of the rock wall. "She's right. There is something strange about this part of the wall." I said to everyone.

"The inside must be hollow." Yuri said to everyone. "Out of the way!" Rita said to me and Judith. We then ran away from the rock wall. "Duosion use Psyshock, and Metang, clean up the mess with Psychic." Rita said to Duosion and Metang, as she charged up a dark type spell. "Duosion/ Metang." The two said nodding their heads yes. Rita then finished casting her spell and caused a little black explosion that broke the rock. Then Duosion fired her dark purple orbs at the same spot Rita fired her spell. Causing the rocks to turn into small rocks. Then all the rocks had a purple outline and moved to the side, clearing the opening.

"It's open!" Estelle said to everyone, as we noticed that the rockets were covering a cave opening. "When did you learn that?" I asked Rita. "I figured we need some new tricks so I grabbed a spell book from my house." Rita said to me. "Back to the cave. What kind of nasty person does something like that?" Raven asked everyone. "Perhaps they sealed it up to keep fishy people like you from getting in." Judith said to Raven.

"Whoa! You're really gunnin' for old Raven? Sometimes you can be so mean. Judith." Raven said to Judith. "You'll live." Hugo said to Raven. Then a worried look appeared on Patty's face. "What's wrong, Patty?" Karol asked Patty. "It's nothin'... I was just… a little scared of the dark." Patty said to everyone. "You're scared of the dark? Hehe, you really are a kid." Karol said to Patty. "Look who's talking." Rita said to Karol. "If you're scared you can wait here." Yuri said to Patty. "I'm fine. I'll go with you guys." Patty said to Yuri, before we all went into the cave.

The cave was a lot larger than we thought it would be. We walked through it and followed the path that was inside the cave. And that path led us to a mass graveyard. "What is that?" Karol asked us, as we all noticed a stone that was larger than the rest in the middle of the graveyard with a ray of sunlight, shining on it. "Let's find out." I said as we all moved to the large stone.

When we got to the stone we noticed that rusty weapons were laying around it, and a pirate hat was on top of it. "What are all these stones doing in a place like this?! It's so creepy…" Rita asked everyone, as we all looked at the stones. "Think about it Rita. All these stones have what I think are names on them, and placed with the names facing us." I said to Rita. "Wiat, these aren't… graves, are they…?" Karol asked me. "Yes, but by how they ordered I think this grave is more of a memorial. But for what, I don't know." I said to Karol.

"Maybe we really did come to the wrong place…" Raven said to everyone. "I don't think that's it. After all this is the only cave, on the only shore with red flowers, on Hypionia. So this has to be it." Hugo said to Raven. "But even if that's the case… Why are there so many here…? Why…?" Estelle asked everyone. "I don't know why, but I know it was something bad." Ava said to Estelle. "I can't believe how many there are…" Judith said to everyone.

"I never imagined we'd find a place like this while we were searching for the home of the Kritya…" Yuri said to everyone. I then noticed Patty staring at the middle stone with a worried look. "Patty what is it? What does this stone say?" I asked Patty. "You can't read that?" Karol asked me. "No." I said to Karol. "You know that you mention it, we never did teach him how to read." Yuri said to everyone. "We can save the school work for when we're done saving the world. Now Estelle what does this say?" I said to everyone and asked Estelle.

"Here lie the victims of the Black Hope Massacre. We mourn their deaths and in this place lay their souls to rest." Estelle said to everyone reading the stone. "These are all the victims of the Black Hope Massacre?!" Karol asked everyone. "The Black hope Massacre. That sounds familiar?" I asked everyone.

"It's the horrible thing Aifread did. Then these are the graves of people who were killed by Aifread…?" Rita said to everyone. "Yes… But… I have no idea there could be so many." Estelle said to everyone. "No wonder everyone has a disgusting feeling towards Aifread." Hugo said to everyone.

That's when Patty fell to her knees. "Patty…!" Estelle asked Patty, worried about her. "But… I… I never thought." Patty said to Estelle. "Patty…" Estelle said to Patty. "Hey Patty it's okay." I said to Patty, as I got on my knees too. "How? How is it okay?" Patty asked me. "No matter how ya look at it, this is just too much. You can't expect a child to accept such a cold reality at her age." Raven said to me.

"Well here is another reality check. Patty I know this is horrible, but listen to me. None of this is your fault." I said to Raven and Patty. But Patty said nothing to me. "I wonder who built these graves…" Karol asked everyone. "Who knows? Maybe there were some survivors of the massacre…" Yuri said to Karol. "That or a member of Aifread crew." Hugo said to Yuri. "But… this is so horrible." Estelle said to everyone.

Then Judith started to move, leaving her Pokemon. "I'm going to look for the key to Myorzo. You all should stay here." Judith said to everyone, as she stopped, with her back against us. "What? You're going by yourself? You're not even bringing you Pokemon?" Karol asked Judith. "We can't bring Patty along when she's like this, can we? And I think it would be a good idea if our Pokemon stayed with her." Judith said to everyone. "There aren't any signs of monsters here. We should go too." Yuri said to everyone.

"Okay then Manectric comes out." I said, letting Manectric out of his Pokeball. "Roserade A little help too." Hugo said, letting Roserade out of her Pokeball. "And why don't you help too, Vivillon." Ava said, letting Vivillon out of his Pokeball. "Okay all Pokemon and Repede, take good care of Patty, okay?" Yuri asked Repede and all the Pokemon. They all respond by making their sounds and nodding their heads yes.

We all then started to walk again leaving the Pokemon and Repede with Patty. While we left I heard a grental whistling, and a sweet aroma in the air. Most like Roserade's Grass Whistle, and Vivillon's Aromatherapy. They probably thought Patty needed that from them.

A few minutes later we made it to the back of the cave, and found nothing. "Looks like a dead end…" Karol said to everyone. "Maybe the old man was right and we really did come to the wrong place." Yuri said to everyone. "No this has to be it." I said to Yuri. "Do you mind if I take a look at that?" Judith asked everyone. "Sure." I said to Judith, as she moved to the back of the cave.

"Illusion, be undone. It is I of the chosen people whom you have anxiously awaited." Judith said to the rock. Then a flashed went off and a large door appeared. "A door?" Estelle said as a surprise look appeared on our faces. "Wha… What did you do...?!" Karol asked Judith. "The Krityans possess an ancient power known as naegeeg that can read the information in objects. I used that power to learn the secret phrase that would remove the enchantment that hid this door." Judith said to everyone.

"I see. So this is what Tort meant when he said the door could only be opened by a Krityan." Yuri said to everyone. "That's a good security system." I said to everyone. "Just when I think she couldn't get any more amazing." Hugo whispered, loud enough for me alone to hear him. "Oh is my wingman Hugo falling in love with the warrior Krityan." I whispered to Hugo. Hugo said nothing, but his face did flash bright red for a few seconds. Not that anyone else noticed this, cause they all already enter the hidden door.

Hugo then went after the rest of the group, trying not to look at me. I then formed a large grin on my face. "Oh I've been waiting for this day for years." I said to myself, remembering all the times Hugo embraced me and Ava, before we confessed our feelings. I then went after the others.

I caught up to them, while they stood in front a stand with a fancy, wired, bell, that was floating. You know a year ago I would think this is crazy, but now I'm used to it. "Could this be the key for the door to Myorzo?" Karol asked everyone. "Yes, we were told it's a bell. So this has to be it." Judith said to everyone, as she picked it up.

"Hugo can you carry this?" Judith asked Hugo. "Are you sure?" Hugo asked Judith. "I can't think of anyone better to carry this than you." Judith said to Hugo, as she held out the bell. "Then I'll keep it safe." Hugo said as he reached for the bell. Then when Hugo and Judith touched hands they stopped moving, and I could see Hugo blush, and Judith blush a little bit.

"Aham." Raven said to everyone, getting everyone's attention, and making Judith and Hugo pull back their hands with the bell in Hugo's hands. "Still, why's there a graveyard in the cave where the bell was hidden?" Raven asked everyone. "It's just a coincidence." Judith said to everyone. "Maybe. I bet the person who built that graveyard didn't know the bell was hidden here." Yuri said to everyone. "I guess that's to be expected with the door being invisible." Karol said to everyone.

"Maybe the person who closed the entrance to this cave was the one who built the graveyard." Estelle said to everyone. "What for?" Rita asked everyone. "Who knows? Maybe to prevent grave-robbing. Or maybe there was some other reason they had to hide this place." Yuri said to everyone. "Or the person wanted to bury the memory of what happened along with the dead." I said to everyone.

"Either might be true. After all, Tort never said anything about the cave entrance." Judith said to everyone. "So someone went to all the trouble of burying those people in such a remote location? Is that really all it is?" Raven asked everyone. "I dunno, but we've got the bell we came for, so let's go back and see Patty." Yuri said to everyone. "Hopley the Pokemon cheered her up enough to move from her spot." I said to everyone, as me and Yuri started to walk.

"Yuri… Did Aifread really kill all those people?" Estelle asked Yuri, making him and me stop in our tracks. "Maybe he did." Yuri said to Estelle. "Patty." Estelle said to herself. "That's the truth she was after." Yuri said to Estelle. "Yes, but… she wasn't at all prepared for it…" Judith said to Yuri. "I doubt anyone would be prepared to find a place like that." I said to Judith. "Right. Let's hurry back." Yuri said to everyone, as we started to move.

A few minutes later we made it back to the graveyard, and we found Patty right where we left her, with all the Pokemon giving her a group hug with Roserade and Vivillon still using Grass Whistle, and Aromatherapy. Repede barked when he saw us. "Thank you, Repede, and everyone. We got what we came for." Yuri said to Repede and the Pokemon. Then Repede and the Pokemon let out their cries.

"Can you stand up, Patty? We're going." Yuri said to Patty. "Are you… going already…?" Patty asked everyone, her voice weak. "Are you okay?" Estelle asked Patty, as she kneeled down. "I'm... fine…" Patty said to everyone. "You don't sound fine. " I said to Patty as I kneel down. "Don't push yourself, okay?" Yuri said to Patty. Patty then stood up. "Seifer…" Patty said to herself. "Who or what is that?" I asked Patty, as me and Estelle stood up.

But she didn't say anything to me. "Can you come with us?" Yuri asked Patty. Patty said nothing, and walked away, with Slowpoke and Cramerant quickly going after her. "Could she be…" Yuri said to himself. "Be what?" I asked Yuri. But Yuri said nothing and we all started to walk.

We walked in silence until we got back on our ship. "All we've got left to do is to ring the bell we just got in Egothor Forest?" Yuri asked everyone. "Correct." I said to Yuri. "I agree." Judith said to Yuri. Then Patty walked to me and Yuri. "Yuri, Oliver, I need to talk to you?" Patty asked us. "Of course Patty." I said to Patty. "What is it?" Yuri asked Patty. "I'd... like to say goodbye to all of you now, and Oliver could you take care of Slowpoke and Cramerant for me." Patty said to us.

"What why?!" I asked Patty. "It's time for us to part ways." Patty said to everyone. "You sure?" Yuri asked Patty. "Why so sudden? You don;t like traveling with us anymore? And why don't you want Cramerant and Slowpoke to join you?" Estelle asked Patty. "No, that's not it. And I…" Patty said to Estelle, but she couldn't finish her sentence. "If you feel uncomfortable around us because of what you learned about Aifread, then…" Karol said to Patty, but Patty interrupted him.

"I just don't want to cause you guys any more trouble." Patty said to everyone. "Patty if this about what those people say about you. We don't mind or care about it." Ava said to Patty. "Even if you don't mind or care… well, I do." Patty said to Ava. "Patty…" Estelle said to Patty, with a worried look on her face.

"What kind of nonsense is that?" Rita asked Patty. "Rita?" Estelle asked Rita. "Every single one of these guys causes nothing but trouble. Do you really think you're any more of a trouble-maker than the rest of us?" Rita said to Patty. "Rita…" Patty said to Rita. "Rita's right, this teams a magnet for trouble." Ava said to Patty. "If it's really just so you can focus on what you need to do then I won't try to stop you." Yuri said to Patty. "Neither will I, but know that we are your friends no matter what." I said to Patty.

"I…" Patty said, but again couldn't finish her sentence. "It'll be lonely around here without you." Raven said to Patty. "We've come this far together, there's no need to hold back." Karol said to Patty. "We crossed the desert and fought so many battles together." Estelle said to Patty. "Besides, you don't need to give an answer here and now, do you?" Judith said to Patty. "And besides, no matter what you think Cramerant and Slowpoke are your Pokemon. And I doubt they would want anyone else." Hugo said to Patty.

"Plus, if you leave us now, we won't be able to pilot the ship and we'll be in real trouble." Yuri said to Patty. "Yeah. Ba'ul can fly us all over the place, but if we need to take the ship, throw a cave that's conceded to the sea and only the sea. We need someone who won't crash the ship against the cave entrance." I said to Patty. "I…" Patty said, obviously over loaded by what everyone said to her.

"Just think about it after your emotions have calmed down. You can pick what you want to do then. Until that time, though, why don't you come with us?" Yuri said to Patty. 'And for the fiftieth time. If you want to talk I will listen." I said to Patty. "Okay." Patty said to us as she turned away from us. "All right! It's off to Egothor Forest!" Karol said to everyone.

"Now all we have to do is get rid of those suspicious guys, free the enslaved Pokemon, and ring the bell. You know now that I say that out loud it's going to be a long day." I said to everyone. "We got to do what?" Ava asked me. "Oh did we forget to mention all the trouble that awaits us?" I asked Ava. "Yes you forgot. You know sometimes you're such an idiot." Ava said to me. "But I'm your idiot." I said to Ava. "Yo know it." Ava said before giving me a kiss on my check.

After that everyone laughed at us, and we headed to Egothor Forest, with use telling everyone what we know about it. After an hour of flying we landed Ba'ul somewhere we thought he would be safe. Then we walked for a bit until we made it to the edge of the Egothor Forest. "Is this it?" Hugo asked Judith. "Yes. This is the Egothor Forest, a holy place for the Krityan people." Judith said to everyone, as we took in the sight.

The place was like a mix of forest, plains, rivers, and cliffs with bridges connecting them. It was quiet, but that's probably from the enemy here. But overall I can see why Pokemon would call this place home, it's just just like home, and the perfect place for Pokemon to raise their little ones in this new harsh world. Well until these suspicious guys showed up.

"Huh. it's nicer here than I imagined. Not a bad spot at all." Rita said to everyone. "Whoa. really? I thought you liked being cooped up in the cold, dark labs and stuff…" Karol said to Rita, but stopped when Rita looked at him. "I wished I could have seen it in its original state, with the Pokemon running around." Estelle said to everyone. "Hey everyone look up." Hugo said to everyone, getting everyone's attention. We all then saw some kind of cannon thing on one of the cliffs.

"That must be the blastia the mystery group brought with them." Yuri said to everyone. "But that's a hoplon blastia…" Rita said to everyone. "What would that be doing here? And why would they need it that high?" I asked Rita. "I don't know." Rita said to me. "In any case, let's head to the blastia. I'm sure the enemy is in that direction. Then when we get to the blastia will figure out something to do with it." Hugo said to everyone. "Would "something to do" include smashing that thing?" Raven asked Hugo.

"I suppose we could if there were no complaints." Judith said to everyone. "I'll fix it so there's no need for you to break it." Rita said to Judith. "Rita it's a weapon blastia. It would be for the best if it's destroyed. After all, you "fixing" it, will only stall the enemy." I said to Rita. "No, I can make it so the enemy can't use it." Rita said to me. "Fine, but you better not make me regret it." I said to Rita.

Then everyone started to move, everyone but Patty, and me and Yuri noticed this. "Are you going back to the ship to rest?" Yuri asked Patty. "No, I'll go." Patty said to Yuri. "Just don't push yourself." I said to Patty, before she walked away. Yuri and me then looked at each other before going after the rest of the group.

As we walked we ran into a group of knights in red decorated armor. "Halt! This area is currently under the control of the Imperial Knights!" A knight said to us. "Who are these Knights?" I asked everyone. "The Royal Guard… this is the Commandant's private force of elite knights." Raven said to me. "What are the commandant's forces doing in a forest like this with hoplon blastia?" Yuri asked the knight.

"I have no reason to answer your questions. And civilian activity is restricted by law in this area." the knight said to Yuri. "Hmm, be that as it may. Why are you pointing that weapon at us like that?" Yuri asked the Knight. "Bring it on. Bring up the beast." The knight said to Yuri and his men. "You heard him, get out here and get rid of them." A female knight said as she pulled out a whip, and whipped the ground.

Then three four legged creatures came out from behind a rock. One of them was a large creature that was mostly covered with black fur, and a few patches of blue fur, on its face, round ears, stomach, back of its front legs, and the lower part of it's back legs. It had red eyes with yellow irises, It had wild spiky black fur on the back of it's head, front legs, and butt, it had yellow stripes on the back of its front legs. Yellow ovals in it's ears. And a skinny black tail, with a yellow four point star on it.

The other two were smaller than the large one, with the front of their body covered in blue fur, and the back was covered in black fur. With the back paws being blue, and two yellow stripes on its front legs, with two long patches of triangle shape black fur. they had the same tail as the big one, the same ears and eyes like the big one, only it had white eyes not red, they also had four spikes, one on top of their head. The only difference was that one longer hair then the other

"A Luxray and two Luxio, a boy and a girl." I said to everyone. "How can you tell?" Rita asked me. "Females of the Luxrays family have short hair. And by the looks of it the Luxray is a boy." I said to Rita. "Luxray and Luxio?" Estelle said as she pulled out the Pokedex.

Seeing through solid objects uses up a lot of Luxray's electricity, so the Pokemno sleeps for long periods of time to store up energy.

Upon encountering an opponent, this Pokemon prepares for battle by extending its claws, which can put out 1,000,000 volts of electricity.

"Estelle now's not the time to use the Pokedex." I said to Estelle as More Knights showed up. "Now you beasts use your electricity." The woman said to Luxray and the two Luxios, as she cracked her whip. "Luxio?" The Female Luxio asked Luxray. "Luxray." Luxray said to Female Luxio, shaking his head. "Luxio." The Female Luxio said as she charged up some electricity and fired a beam of electricity, by the looks of it it was a Charge Beam.

She was aiming at Yuri, but then her attack turned and hit Manectric's tail. "What was that?" Karol asked me. "That was Manectric's Lightning Rod. I told you about it when we met Rita." I said to Karol. "Oh yeah." Karol said to me.

"You worthless beast, can't you do anything right," The woman said to the first Luxio, as she raised her whip. "Luxio!" The Female Luxio said with a horror look on her face. "Luxray." Luxray said as he moved to protect the Female Lxray, and took the hit from the whip. "So you want to take it's punishment?" The woman asked Luxray, before she whipped Luxray again, and again.

"Stop that, this instance!" Estelle said to the woman. "Why should I? These beasts need to know that failing will bring them pain." The woman said to Estelle. "You're horrible." Estelle said to the woman. "Everyone attack." I said to everyone, as we charged at the knights. "Now you beasts, attack them." the woman said to the two Luxio and Luxray, cracking her whip. But the three of them shock their heads no. "I said attack them." The woman said as she whipped all three of them.

"Luxray/ Luxio." The three of them said before they charged at us with glowing white fangs, with Luxray's fangs being longer, Probably Bite for the two Luxio and Crunch for the Luxray. "Everyone don't hurt the Pokemon. They're being forced to do this." I said to everyone, as we started to fight the knights. "Easier said than done." Raven said to me, as he dodged Luxray, who almost bit into Raven's shoulder.

"Actually it is easy. Roserade put them to sleep with Grass Whistle." Hugo said to Raven and Roserade, as he bet two of the knights. "And Vivillon help Roserade with Sleep Power." Ava said to Vivillon, as she shot a few arrows. "Roserade." Roserade said as she started to put her hands together and played a gentle sound. This made the Luxray and Luxio drossey. Then Vivillon flapped his wings and green powder fell onto the Luxray, and the two Luxio.

This put all three of them to sleep. "Get up you worthless beast." The woman said to the Luxray and two Luxio, before she raised her whip. But before she could hit the Pokemon, I got in her way and tied her whip around one of my maces. We then got into a tug war.

"You children have no idea what you're doing?" The woman said to me, as she pulled. "I'm stopping you from hurting these Pokemon." I said to the woman, as I pulled. "These beasts need to learn obedience. All of them." The woman said to me, as she pulled. "Pokemon are obedient when you treat them with respect and love." I said to the woman, as I pulled. "Why should we respect and love these creatures? When pain and fear works even better to keep them in line." The woman said to me, as she pulled.

"Then let's see how you like it." I said as I let go of my mace, and since she was still pulling her whip, my mace went right into her face, causing her to drop her whip and my mace. I then ran to her and grabbed my mace, before slamming both of them into her chest, knocking her off her feet. I then put a foot on her chest, pinning her. "This is for Luxray and the two Luxio." I said before I slammed one of my maces into her whipping hand, breaking it. This caused her to steam. "Not so fun when it's you in pain is it?" I asked her, before punching her in the face, knocking her out.

I then turned to everyone, who finished the other knights. "Man, that escalated quickly. Well, we're off to a good start." Yuri said to everyone, as we put away our weapons. "So the mysterious group of people was the Imperial Knights…" Estelle said to everyone. "Seems so." I said to Estelle. "But why did they attack us? And why did they enslave these Pokemon?" Karol asked everyone.

"Oh right the Pokemon." Estelle said as she moved to the Pokemon. She was about to cast a heal spell but was stopped by Hugo. "Estelle remembers Audino knows Heal Pulse. Let her do that instead of you using your magic." Hugo said to Estelle. "Oh right Audino use Heal Pulse on the Luxray, and the two Luxio." Estelle said to Audino. "Audino." Audino said before let out a pulse of gentle pink energy. Then the wounds on the Luxray, and the two Luxio disappeared.

"Now that the Lxray and two Luxio are healed, let's get back on the topic of the knights." Ava said to everyone. "Right, so any idea what the knights are doing here?" I asked everyone. "Maybe they're doing something here that they don't want anyone to know about?" Judith said to everyone. "You mean… with that blastia?" Karol asked Judith, as we turned to the blastia. "Maybe, yeah." Yuri said to Karol.

"You said you were going to come with us, so you better pull yourself together." Rita said, making me turn my head to see she was talking to Patty. "I know." Patty said to Rita. "Uh guys we should take cover." Hugo said to everyone. We all then noticed the blastia aimed at us. "Watch out…!" Estelle said as the blastia fired an energy blast at us. But then Estelle got in front of everyone, and somehow her powers negated the blast. However this made Estelle fall to her knees.

"Estelle…" Rita yelled as me, Yuri, and Rita moved around her, with our and her Pokemon filling the holes in our wall. "What did you just do?" Karol asked Estelle. "Same as what she did in Heliord! Estelle's power took the aer and made it dissipate!" Rita said to Karol. "But didn't that take a lot of her stamina?" I asked Rita. "Oliver is right Estelle. You've got to stop doing crazy things like that…" Rita said to Estelle.

"I'm. I'm sorry! I just thought about how everyone was in danger, and before I knew it my power…" Estelle said as she stood up. "Her power is starting to unconsciously respond to her feelings." Judith said to everyone. "Can we finish the conversation behind some cover?" Hugo asked everyone. "Yeah, that last attack came from that blastia. It was definitely aimed at us." Rita said to Everyone. "Which means that Estelle will end up using her power every time we're shot at." Judith said to everyone. "But then… what should I do…" Estelle asked everyone.

"Hey hey, you saved us, didn't you?" Yuri asked Estelle. "Yeah, if that had hit us head on, we would've been goners for sure! We should be mad at the fact that they shot at us, not that Estelle protected us!" Karol said to everyone. "We've sworn to settle Estelle's problems along with the world's problems. Everything we're doing right now is towards that purpose. We shouldn't let the details get in our way." Yuri said to everyone.

"But won't Phaeroh get mad if she keeps doin' stuff like this? Whether it's by a blastia or by Phaeroh. I don't wanna be barbecued alive!" Raven said to everyone. "Come on. This is simple, we just have to do something about the blastia, right?" Yuri asked everyone. "That's right." Judith said to everyone. "That is what we came here to do." I said to everyone. "Let's pummel the jerks who are controlling the blastia!" Rita said to everyone.

"All right, let's go. Try to keep a low profile." Yuri said to everyone. "That's easier said than done. Luxray has the ability to see through things. And they might have more Luxray running around here, so even if we hide, they will find us." Ava said to Yuri. "So we need to keep moving and not stop." Yuri said to Ava. "Bingo." Ava said to Yuri.

Then we all started to move, everyone, but Patty again. Me and Yuri then walked to Patty. "If you keep standing around, we're gonna leave you behind." Yuri said to Patty, before leaving. "Don't listen to him. Your one of us, and we would never leave you behind." I said to Patty. Patty didn't say anything, she just started to walk. I know Patty says she's okay, but she's getting slow and gets lost in her thoughts. These were not good signs.

We then started to move around the place trying to find the blastia, while dodging it's blasts, and took care of a few knights that also had Luxrays and Luxios with them. And since we didn't want to hurt them like with the first group we put them to sleep with Sleep Powder and Grass Whistle. But something was bugging me. They were using Luxrays and Luxios, but where were the Shinks, after all the number of Luxrays and Luxios were too large to be a single family, so then this must be a pack, and if so, where are their young?

Finally we found the blastia on top of a hill with a single path to it, and a group of knights, and a few Luxrays and Luxios stood in our way. "It's them!" One of the knights said to us, once he noticed us. "Get out of our way! And let the Pokemon go." Yuri said to the knight, as we drew our weapons. We then started to fight. "Roserade use Grass Whistle again." Hugo said to Roserade. "Vivillon use Sleep Power again again." Ava said to Vivillon. "Roserade." Roserade said before playing her song. "Vivillon." Vivillon said as he started to spread his Sleep Powder.

And once again the Luxrays and Luxios went to sleep before they could do anything. Just what are they doing to these Pokemon? There's always a few Pokemon that can resist these moves if they have enough strength. But these Pokemon are falling asleep within seconds of being hit by the moves.

"Worthless beasts." A knight said to the Luxrays and Luxios, making me reagan focus. "Manectric use Quick Attack on that knight." I said to Manectric. "Manectric." Manectric said as it charged at the knight at high speed and glowing white. Manectric then slammed into the knight forcing him to me. I then swung one of my mace and slammed it into the knight's face, knocking him out.

Meanwhile Yuri, Bisharp and Banette were charging at a heavy knight that had a spear and shield. "Bisharp use Thief and get rid of that spear, and Banette use Knock Off and get rid of that shield." Yuri said to Bisharp and Banette. "Bisharp." Bisharp said as he jumped ahead of Yuri, and punched the knight, and as he jumped back, he grabbed the knights spear. "Banette." Banette said as he punched the knight, and as he moved back, he smacked off the shield. These attacks made it easy for Yuri to strike and finish the knight.

Then a mage started to cast a spell. "Audino use Light Screen." Estelle said to Audino, as the mage finished casting her spell and fired a fireball. "Audino." Audino said as she raised her right hand. Then the fireball hit a window of glass that appeared out of nowhere and dissipated.

"Togetic use Play Rough on that mage." Estelle said to Togetic. "Togetic." Togetic said as she moved forward and elseing a cloud of smoke. Then the cloud enveloped the mage. Soon pink hearts, and yellow stars came out of the smoke. Then the mage came flying out of the cloud, and Estelle used her slammed her shield into the mage, knocking the mage out.

"Metang hold them down with Psychic." Rita said to Metang as she started to cast a dark spell. "Metang." Metang said as he used Psychic to hold three knights in place. "Duosion uses Psyshock." Rita said to Duosion, as she finished casting her spell. "Duosion." Duosion said as she fired multiple dark purple orbs. The Psyshock and spell Rita cast hit the three knights knocked them all out and broke off their armor.

"Skiddo use Vine Whip and grabbed that knight's spear." Karol said to Skiddo, as he and Mawile charged at a knight. "Skiddo." Skiddo said as he let out two vines and wrapped them around the knight's spear and started to pull it. "Hey let go." The knight said to Skiddo as he pulled his spear.

"Mawile help me with Iron Head." Karol said as he started to swing his axe. "Mawile." Mawile said as the top of her ponytail turned silver and rough. Mawile then slammed into Karol's axe, making Karol spin like a tornado, and was only stopped when he slammed his axe into the knight, and slammed that knight into the rock wall next to us.

"Drilbur make a hole with Dig behind that knight, and Sableye blast him into the hole with Power Gem." Raven said to Drilbur and Sableye as he fired his arrows at a knight that was hiding behind a shield. "Drilbur." Drilbur said as he jumped up and clapped his hands over his head. Then Drilbur dived into the ground. While Drilbur was doing that, Sableye summoned some gems and fired small beams of light from them. One of these beams of light hit the knight in the face, causing him to move backwards. Then the knight fell in a hole and Drilbur was standing above the hole. "Drilbur." Drilbur said to Raven. "Yeah good job buddy." Raven said to Drilbur.

Then I noticed Cramerant using Liquidation on a knight, none stopped. And Slowpoke using Water Gun on the ground tripping a couple of knights. And they were doing this while Patty was in the back, her weapon shaking in her hand. I Think Patty lost her will to fight.

Then I noticed a Knight charging at Riolu with a Sword, not that Riolu noticed . "Riolu use Bone Rush on the knight charing at you" I said to Riolu, making him notice the Knight charging at him. "Riolu." Riolu said as he made his red bone, and used it like a sword to block the Knight's sword. "Corvisquire smash him with Rock Smash." I said to Corvisquire. "Corvisquire." Corvisquire said to me, as his feet started to glow white. Then Corvisquire slammed his right foot into the knight's helmet leaving a dent and knocking him out.

"Flygon use Dragon Breath, and Shelgon use Flamethrower and finishes this." Judith said to Flygon and Shelgon, as she defeated two of the knights. "Flygon/ Shelgon." the two pokemon said as Flygon fired a burst of teal energy at the last of the knights, and Shelgon fired a stream of fire at the last of the knights. The two attacks sent the last of the knights flying while on fire, clearing the path to the blastia.

"Well that takes care of that now the blastia is ours." I said to everyone, as we put our weapons away. "At least we don't have to worry about being shot at anymore." Yuri said to everyone. "We might have stopped the knights, but we've still got to deal with this guy." Rita said to everyone. "Who?" Hugo asked Rita. "She means the cannon." I said to Hugo. "Hmm… He's not a Hermes blastia, but the formula's been encrypted." Rita said to herself. "Care to explain in English?" Raven asked Rita.

"Basically, without a key to decode the formula, we can't turn it off." Rita said to everyone. "So I assume breaking the code isn't…" Yuri said to Rita. "No, it's not easy. Even if I could break it, that would take time. Hmm… Maybe if I…" Rita said to Yuri. "I don't think this will take much time at all." Judith said to Rita as she pulled out her spear. "Wait… But you said…!" Rita said to Judith, but was interrupted when Judith threw her spear up and knocked out a white cloaked mage out of the tree that was near the cannon.

"Heeelp!" The mage yelled as he got up and tried to run. But he was stopped by Rita, who forced him down towards the ground. "What are you going here?!" Rita asked the mage. "Perhaps he is this blastia's engineer." Judith said to Rita. "N-no! I mean, I am an engineer, and all, but I… I was just following orders. I… I swear I never wanted to get involved in something like this…" The mage said to Rita.

"Undo the code and stop this blastia, now!" Rita said to the mage, as she grabbed him and moved him to the blastia crontols. "Y-yes, of course, right away…!" The mage said as he got up and got to work. "I'm sorry for surprising you back there." Judith said to Rita. "Humph… Duh, I knew right away you were only trying to make me jump." Rita said to Judith as she turned away from Judith. "Oh?" Judith asked Rita.

"At least that's one problem down. Now we can go to Myorzo, once the weather clears." Karol said to everyone. "I wouldn't say that." Hugo said to Karol. I and Yuri then turned our heads to Hugo, then followed his eyes and found an even bigger cannon firing at us. "No!" Yuri said as he ran forward. "Yuri wait!" I said to Yuri. "What is it…?" Estelle asked as she turned her head to see the cannon fire, which caused her to scream.

Yuri then tried to block the cannon fire, and while he was able to prevent major damage, he still took some damage, and got knocked off the edge, and was barely hanging on. "Y-Y-Yuri." Karol said as we rushed to Yuri. "I could use some help here." Raven said to everyone, as he tried to help Yuri up. Then me, Karol, and Hugo helped Raven, and pulled Yuri up.

"Should've known they'd have another one of these." Yuri said to us, as Estelle ran to Yuri to inspect him. "Yuri... don't tell me you did that to keep me from using my power…!" Estelle asked Yuri. "Don't you think that was a bit reckless?" Raven asked Yuri. "And a bit counter productive. After all Estelle would use her powers to heal you." I said to Yuri. "Indeed… Do you have a death wish?" Judith asked Yuri. "This? This is nothing." Yuri said to everyone. "If falling to your death is nothing. I hate to see what you think a problem is." Hugo said to Yuri.

"Yuri. I'm sorry… It was my fault." Estelle said to Yuri. "Hey, you did the same for us before, right? Now we're even." Yuri said to Estelle. "But…" Estelle said to Yuri, but was interrupted by Judith. "Estelle, perhaps a simple "thank you" would do best." Judith said to Estelle. "I… Th-thank you." Estelle said to Yuri, bowing to him. "Moving right along we'd better do something about that other blastia." Yuri said to everyone.

"Hey, you wouldn't happen to know…" Rita said to the mage. "Ah Rita." Ava said to Rita. "Hey!" Rita said, as we noticed the mage high tailing it, and knocking Patty over. The mage then jumped over the side and past us, then proceeded to run again. "Fast little bugger… We'd better catch him quick." Raven said to everyone. "Yeah he's going to sound the alarms." Ava said to everyone.

"Please wait, Patty is…" Estelle said to everyone, but was interrupted by Patty. "Rita… I'm sorry… I let him get away…" Patty said to Rita. "Don't worry about it. I'll come up with something." Rita said to Patty. "Like what?" I asked Rita. "Y-yeah… but you said it wasn't easy…" Karol said to Rita. "As long as Knights aren't around, we don't have to worry so much about how long it takes. Besides, who do you think you're dealing with? I'm the genius mage, Rita Mordio. If it's me versus a blastia I'll win or die trying." Rita said before she started to play around with the cannon that was next to us.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Karol said to Rita. "What are you doing?" Estelle asked Rita, as we all looked at Rita. "if we leave it like this, someone could use it again. I'll just make a few adjustments." Rita said to Estelle. "I'm sorry." Rita said to the blastia, as she shot it down.

"Ahh. nothing' shines quite so bright as a young person with somethin' they're willin ta risk their life for." Raven said to himself. "For somebody who's stood on death;s doorstep, saying you'll do something or die trying isn't just a figure of speech." Yuri said to Raven. "Huh? Death's Doorstep?" Raven asked Yuri. "Didn't you say you almost died during the Great War?" Yuri asked Raven. "Yeah you said something about how it would be simpler if you did die then." I said to Raven.

'Ah, forgot I mentioned that. Well… Only the livin' java the privilege of sayin' they'll fight ta the last breath. And words like conviction and resolve don't mean much to a dead man…" Raven said to us. "You okay, old man?" Yuri asked Raven. "You better not be getting morbid on us." I said to Raven. "Here I am, runnin' off at the mouth. I get a bit sentimental when i start diggin' up the past. Come on. Onward!" Raven said to us, before he left. "Ready to go?" Yuri asked Patty. Patty said nothing. She just nodded yes. Then we started to move towards the second cannon.

Then as we went through a tunnel, we ended up meeting a shot from the cannon. "Everyone, take cover!" Estelle yelled at everyone. We all then moved and leaned against a rock wall, avoiding the cannon fire. "Oh so when Estelle says take cover you all listen, but when I say it, It's like I'm talking to myself." Hugo said to everyone. "Is everyone okay?" Yuri asked everyone. "I'll live." Karol said to Yuri. "Me too." Patty said to Yuri. "The only thing hurt is my pride." Hugo said to Yuri.

"Looks like we're all okay." I said Yuri. "Except for the old man. Who looks a little worse for wear." Rita said to me, as we turned our heads to see Raven on his knees. "Hey old man, wanna sit this one out? We can go on ahead." Yuri asked Raven.

"If you leave me behind, there ain't anyplace else for me to go." Raven said to Yuri. "We wouldn't leave you alone." Ava said to Raven. "Thank you Ava." Raven said to Ava. "We leave you alone with Drilbur and Sableye." Ava said to Raven. "I take back my thank you." Raven said to Ava. "She's just kidding Raven. Even Yuri wouldn't leave you here for good. And she is right, you could always take Sableye and Drilbur and go back to Altosk, couldn't you?" Karol asked Raven.

"Hmm. There's always that I s'pose. But they're… how do I say it… not the same as you guys." Raven said to everyone. "Oh really?" Karol asked Raven. "I don't know if that's an insult or a compliment." Hugo said to everyone. "Hmph." Yuri said to himself. "Well, if you're okay, old man, let's get over to that blastia before it recharges and attacks us again." Rita said to everyone. "Aye aye. Roger that." Raven said to Rita, before we started to move again.

As we got closer to the blastia we heard a strange sound. We followed the sound and realised it was coming from the blastia. "That blastia's been making some weird noises." Karol said to everyone. "It's charging up aer. It won't be able to fire again for a while." Rita said to Karol. "If we hurry up and sneak past the enemy will be utterly helpless." Raven said to everyone.

"You don't seriously think that, do you?" Judith asked Raven. "Yeah since that mage got away, they gotta know we're coming for the blastia." Hugo said to Raven. "And here they come." Ava said as we looked up and saw some guards and some Luxrays and Luxios charging at us. "It's the Royal Guard!" Karol said to everyone. "It's not just them." Hugo said as we turned to see a second group of knights and Pokemon coming from being us. "From the other side too." Estelle said to everyone.

"We're surrounded?!" Rita said to everyone. "We need to stand firm and hold out!" Yuri said to everyone. "Everyone form a circle and let no one inside." I said to everyone. We then formed a circle, pulled out our weapons, and got ready to fight.

"Roserade you know what to do." Hugo said to Roserade. "Same for you Vivillon." Ava said to Vivillon. "Roserade/ Vivillon." The two pokemon said before using Grass Whistle and Sleep Powder on the pokemon for the tenth time today.

"Flygon uses Rock Slide and Shelgon use Dragon Claw." Judith said to Flygon and Shelgon. "Flygon." Flygon said as he looked to the sky and caused rocks to fall from the sky, surrounding us and making a bottom neck for our enemies. And the first few to get threw got cuts on the lower legs from the front two legs of Shelgon glowing teal and becoming fine point feet.

"Drilbur uses Sandstorm. And Sableye use Fury Swipe." Raven said to Drilbur and Sableye. "Drilbur." Drilbur said as he started to spin like a top kicking out a lot of sand. Soon the Sandstorm covered and made it harder for the knights to get us. Then Sableye with his sharp glowing white claws cut threw a few knights that got past the Rock Slide and Sandstorm.

"Audino use Dazzling Gleam and Togetic use Air Slash." Estelle said as she blocked the attack of one of the knights with her shield. "Audino." Audino said before releasing a blinding multi colored light. This combined with the Sandstorm and Rock Slide grounded the knights advancements to a halt. "Togetic." Togetic said before launching blades of wind at the stationary knights.

"Manectric and Riolu use Quick Attack and take out the mages in the back and Corvisquire help me attack with Dual Wingbeat." I said to Manectric, Riolu, and Corvisquire. "Manectric/ Riolu/ Corvisquire." The three Pokemon said as Manectric and Riolu used their speed and jumped on the rocks to the back and surprise attack the mages in the back. Meanwhile Corvisquire and me were smacking the knights in front of us, with us tag teaming our it's to be on both sides of the knights body, I hit left, Corvisquire hit right, I hit right, Corvisquire hit left, you get the point.

"Metang pick some up with Psychic. Then Duosion use Signal Beam." Rita said to Metang and Duosion, as she charged up a fireball spell. "Metang." Metang said as he picked up two knights, and lifted them into the air. Rita then cast her fireball at one of the knights, while Duosion fired a beam of pink energy beam with shapes in it. The two attacks hit and sent the knights flying.

"Skiddo use Leaf Blade and Mawile use Iron Head." Karol said as he slammed his axe into a knight's shield. "Skiddo." Skiddo said, as his horns glowed green and flipped forward and became one long curve blade. Then Skiddo slashed threw a knight. Meanwhile Mawile jumped up and slammed her ponytail into a knights head with her ponytail being rough and silver.

"Bisharp use Aerial Ace, back to back. And Banette use Shadow Sneak to help Bisharp." Yuri said to Bisharp and Banette. "Banette." Banette said as he disappeared into the shadow, then started to knock reappear and disappear in the shadows of knights and hitting them on the back legs throwing them off balance. "Bisharp." Bisharp said as he disappeared and reappeared next to the guards that Banette tripped, and dealived the finishing blow.

A few minutes later the sandstorm cleared up and we saw all the knights were defeated. "Did we get everyone?" Yuri asked everyone. "Yeah."I said as we put our weapons away. Then a knight came out of nowhere and was going to pierce Patty with his spear. "PATTY!" I yelled as we all turned to Patty.

Patty wasn't able to move, for what reason I don't know. But then right before the knight could stick a teal outline appeared on the knight. I turned my head to see it was Slowpoke and Cramerant with angry looks on their faces, and Slowpoke's eyes glowing teal. So Slowpoke used Confusion. As for Cramerant, I could see a fire burning inside him. Then he fired a stream of water at the knight's helmet. The knight then started to scream in pain, as steam came off him.

"That was Scald. When did Cramerant learn that?" Ava asked me. "Probably right now after this guy tried to kill Patty." I said to Ava, as Hugo punched the knight knocking him out. "Patty stop zoning out." Yuri said to Patty, as I inspected Patty with Slowpoke and Cramerant helping me. "I'm sorry, Yuri..." Patty said to Yuri. "Patty, maybe you should have stayed back on the ship after all." Raven said to Patty.

"Aye, If I'm just gonna keep causing trouble for you guys like this, maybe I should've." Patty said to everyone. "Enough with the indecision and grumbling! We've come this far. Haven't we? We're all friends here. Didn't we tell you not to worry?" Rita asked Patty. "Friends." Karol said to Rita. "My, it's not every day we get to hear you say such sweet things, Rita." Judith said to Rita. "Yeah normally Oliver makes heartfelt speeches." Ava said to Rita.

"Sh-shut up! Come on. We have to stop that hoplon blastia!" Rita said to everyone. "Okay, okay. You all heard the lady." Judith said to everyone, as we all started to move. "Friends…" Patty said to herself. "Patty, what are you doing! Do you want to get left behind?" Karol asked Patty, as we all stopped. "I…" Patty said not knowing what to say.

"Let me talk to her." I said to everyone, as I walked to her. "Patty, I won't pertain to know what you're feeling. But know that it's not your fault." I said to Patty. "What are you talking about?" Patty asked me. "The graves." I said to Patty. "But…" Patty said to me, but I interrupted her. "No buts. It was your grandfather's fault. Not yours. You need to stop thinking that it's your. You're your own person." I said to Patty.

"But I'm Aifread Granddaughter." Patty said to me. "What did I say about buts? Now it's maybe true that you're Aifread granddaughter, but you're more than that. Your Patty and you not just your heritage, you're also your deeds. So don't let your grandfather's deeds define how you live." I said to Patty.

"But what can I do? What can I do to fix things?" Patty asked me. "That's up to you. But look, you have nothing to prove to us. After all we know who you are. A kind, adventures kid, who can always find the bright side to think. And who has two wired Pokemon that love and care about you. So look around cause the only people that matter are right here." I said to Patty as I jesterd my hand to everyone.

Patty then looked and saw everyone, people and Pokemon, smiling at her with a big grin on everyone's faces. And I could see it made Patty happy too. "So are you ready to move?" I asked Patty. "Yeah let's go." Patty said as we all started to move again.

Then we made it to the second cannon, where a group of knights and Pokemono were waiting from us. "Those who obstruct the work of the Knights shall be treated as criminals. A knight said to us. "And how is that different from everywhere else we go?" I asked the knight as we drew our weapons. "Okay Roserade you know what to do." Hugo said to Roserade. "Same to you Vivillon." Ava said to Vivillon. "Roserade/ Vivillon." the tw said before performing Sleep Power and Grass Whistle, but this time nothing happened, surprising everyone.

"Ah Oliver what happened?" Estelle asked me. "THERE OUT!" I yelled. "Out, out of what?" Karol asked me. "Sleep Power, and Grass whistle. They can't use it any more." I said to Karol. "Oliver lookout!" Ava said to me as she pushed me to the ground. Just in time to dodge a Luxray's Iron Tail, but the Iron Tail did hit Patty and sent her flying to a part of the woods we haven't been to.

"PATTY!" We all yelled as Slowpoke jumped onto Cramerant back and they went after her. "We got to go get her." I said to everyone. "Oliver, small problem." Hugo said to me, as the knights started to attack. "We got to take care of them then find Patty." I said as we started to fight, and again dodging an Iron Tail, which slammed into a rock next to me, shattering it.

NO P.O.V.

Right before Patty could become a stain on the ground, Cramerant flew as fast as he could with Slowpoke on his back. When they were in range Slowpoke used Confusion to stop her before she hit the ground. "Thanks Slowpoke." Patty said to Slowpoke, as Slowpoke put her down on the ground.

"Cramerant." Cramerant said as he charged into the ground, knocking Slowpoke off him. "I guess you used a lot of energy to save me?" Patty asked Cramerant, as Patty picked him up. "Cramerant." Cramerant said to Patty, shaking his head yes. "Slowpoke hop on we have to get back to the others." Patty said to Slowpoke, as she pulled Cramerant to her chest, and lowered herself to let Slowpoke on. "Slowpoke." Slowpoke said to Patty as she jumped onto Patty's back. Slowpoke then crawled onto Patty's right shoulder, and then Patty started to run.

Patty was trying to get back to the others as fast as she could, but had no idea where she was going and got lost. Then she found herself in a clearing, where she found a lot of cages. All filled with small creatures that was on food legs, with the back half of them be all baclk, with a tail just like the Luxrays and Luxios, it front half was all blue with eyes, like Luxio, a patch of black fur around their necks, a single yellow line above they're front paws, oval ears with a yellow four point stars in their ears with one point being longer than the other points, locked inside them.

"What the?" Patty said as she looked around. "What are you?" Patty asked one of the creatures, as she moved closer to it. "Shinx." The creature said as it backed away. "What is it? What's wrong?" Patty asked the creature. She then noticed that the creature had signs of being whipped on them. Then she noticed all the little creatures had the same wounds on them. "Wait are these creatures Pokemon?" Patty asked her Pokemon.

"Cramerant/ Slowpoke." The two said nodding their head yes. "Luxray!" a creature roaded, getting Patty's attention. Patty turned her head to see a cage larger than the others, with a Luxray in it. But this one was different, what was blue was yellow and what was yellow was orange. And it was changed up, with a mussel on it. "Are you a Luxray? I haven't seen one like you before." Patty asked the Pokemon, as she ran to it.

"Luxray!" The creature roaded again, making Patty stop. Patty just looked at the creature as it growled at her. 'You're also your deeds.' Patty thought as she remembered Oliver's words. Patty then had a serious look on her face, and put Cramerant and Slowpoke down, then pulled out her weapon. Patty then started to use her weapon to pick the lock. "Luxray!" Luxray roared at her.

"Hey it's okay. I'm here to help." Patty said as she cracked the lock and open the cage. Luxray then started to roar at Patty, while letting out some electricity. This got Cramerant and Slowpoke ready to fight. "Cramerant, Slowpoke calm down. I got this." Patty said as she slowly moved to the Luxray. Then the Luxray stopped letting out electricity, but still growled at her.

"It's okay I'm not going to hurt you. Here let me get that off you." Patty said to the Luxray, as she helped remove the mussel. Once the mussel was off, Luxray shocked its head and took in a few deep breaths. "See I'm not that bad. Now why don't we get you free." Patty said as she started to get they changed off the Luxray. Then the Luxray started to growl. "Hey I thought you know I was trying to help." Patty said to Luxray.

"Hey you get away from that monster." A male voice said to Patty. Patty then turned her head to see a knight with a whip and shield in hands. "Oh you were grewling at him." Patty said to Luxray. "I said get away from that monster." The knight said to Patty as he whipped Patty's weapon out of her hand. This caused Luxray to roar and made Cramerant to use Scald, and Slowpoke to use Water Gun.

But the knight used his shield to block their attacks, and used his wip to grab Slowpoke and slammed her into Cramerant, knocking Cramerant out. "I've been keeping these monsters in line for days. You really think water would stop me?" The knight asked Patty, as she pulled out her gun, only for the knight to whip it out of her hand. "Now it's time you learn your place." The knight said as he got closer to Patty, making her scared.

Slowpoke looked at this and got up. "Slow, slow, SLOWPOKE!" Slowpoke said to the knight before she started to glow blue. "What?" The knight said as Slowbro started to grow, and became taller then Patty. Slowpokes new form was the same color as it's old form, but now she was standing on her back legs, with two long sharp white claws, her front legs had three small white claws on it, and the biggest change was that she had a larger grey spiral shell with spikes, teeth, and eyes on it. "Slowbro." Slowpoke said to everyone.

"Slowpoke you evolved." Patty said to Slowbro. "What's that going to do? So you got bigger. You still look stupid, and even more so with that stupid shell on your tail." the knight said to Slowbro, laughing at her. Then the shell's eyes gave the knight a mean look and bit down hard on Slowbro's tail.

Then a serious look appeared on Slowbro's face, and then her eyes glowed pink, and then all the locks on all the cages had a pink outline. Then all the locks were forced off and slammed into the knight. The knight then let out many cries of pain as all the locks slammed into him, denting his armor, and knocking him out.

"Wow nice one Slowbro." Patty said to Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said to Patty, as Patty grabbed her gun. "Hold still." Patty said to Luxray, as she blasted the chains, setting Luxray free. Luxray then took a few steps forward and shocked it's legs. "There you're free. You're all free." Patty said to all the Pokemon. As all the Pokemon were out of their cages.

Then the sound of an explosion filled the air, getting everyone's attention. "My friends!" Patty said as she looked at the direction the sound came from. Then Luxray bit the back of Patty's clothes and tossed her a little bit into the air. Then the Luxray got right under Patty, and allowed her to land on her back. "Whoa their Goldy." Patty said to Luxray, as she got a grip on Luray's fur.

"LUXRAY!" Luxray roared, before moving with Patty on it's back. Then the Shinxs, and Cramerant started to follow Luxray. Leaving Slowbro. "Slowbro?" Slowbro said, wondering what's going on. Then her shells eyes rolled and bit down. "Slowbro!" Slowbro said as she started to run.

Oliver P.O.V.

After defeating the knight and Aduino healing the Luxrays and Luxios, Rita started to work on the gun. "How does it look, Rita?" Yuri asked Rita. "Just like I thought, this formula is protected by a code as well." Rita said to Yuri. "Think you can break it?" Yuri asked Rita. "I said I'd do it or die trying, didn't I? This has nothing to do with getting us to Myorzo anymore. There's no way in hell I'll let those idiot Knights go on using these poor blastia like this." Rita said to everyone.

"Okay, I'll leave this to you guys!" Karol said to everyone. "Yeah I got to go." Hugo said as he and Karol started to move, with their Pokemon. "And where are you off to, Karol, Hugo?" Judith asked us. "I'm gonna keep watch down below, just in case more Royal Guards show up!" Karol said to Judith. "And I need to find Patty, and her Pokemon. Hopley they're okay." Hugo said to Judith "Well then, I'll come along and help you out Karol." Judith said to Karol. "And I'll help you Oliver." Ava said to Hugo.

Soon Karol and Judith were standing guard with their Pokemon, While Hugo, Ava and their went to go search for Patty, and her Pokemon. "So what about the rest of us?" I asked everyone. "I guess the rest of us'll stay here for now." Yuri said to me. "Probably not the best use of your time, but okay." I said to Yuri.

Time passed and we were bored, and shattered around the cannon. "Hey Oliver, can I ask you a question?" Estelle asked me. "Sure." I said to Estelle. "Why couldn't Roserade and Vivillon use Grass Whistle, and Sleep Powder?" Estelle asked me. "Oh yeah, we never did run into this problem before." I said to Estelle. "So you know what happened?" Yuri asked me. "You see Pokemon don't have unlimited attacks. Some have 5 shots some have 30 shots. And since all that Roserade and Vivillon have been using Grass Whistle and Sleep Powder, they used up all their shots." I said to Estelle.

"If Pokemon attacks have a limited number of shots for their attacks, why haven't we had this problem before?" Yuri asked me. "Simple. Our Pokemon knows moves that have a lot of shots and a variety of moves. Like Bisharps Metal Claw has 35 shots, and he only uses a shot when he pulls out his blade, then puts them away. And he's got 4 moves, so he can mix it up. The only reason we got this problem now is because it was the only move that the top of them used since we got here." I said to Yuri.

"Does this thing happen often?" Estelle asked me. "Yes, but not as often as you think. It really depends on the Pokemon. Like one fresh from it's egg that only has one move, might have this problem. Or your strategy has been to only use one move, like us. Or they only have moves with 5 shots each." I said to Estelle. "So as long as we cycle through our moves, this shouldn't happen again?" Yuri asked me. "Yep." I said to Yuri.

Then even more time and nothing happened. "Looks like it'll be a while before she can crack that code." Raven said to everyone. "Yeah this thing is giving Rita some trouble. But why would the Royal guard have this here?" I asked everyone. "I'm wondering that myself. What is their plan?" Yuri asked me.

"GUYS!" Ava yelled then we heard some footsteps coming, and a slash of A weapon. "AVA!" I yelled worried about her. "I'm okay Oliver thanks to Judith." Ava said to me, as she, Hugo, Karol, Judith, and their Pokemon moved to the group. "Your welcome." Judith said to Ava. "Okay what's going on? Did you find Patty?" I asked them. "No we didn't, but we have a problem." Ava said to me. The Knights have come back!" Karol said to me. "And they probably brought the whole Luxray pack, even the ones we put to sleep." Hugo said to everyone.

"Everyone hold the line." I said as we formed two lines, protecting Rita, with physical attackers like me in the front, and range attackers in the back. then the knights attacked. "Manectric use Thunderbolt, Riolu use Bone Rush, and Corvisquire use Dual Wingbeat. "Manectric." Manectric said as he fired a bolt of electricity from behind me and hit a mage. "Riolu." Riolu said as he summoned his red energy bone and used it to hit the bottom of a knight. "Corvisquire." Corvisuire said before slamming his wings into the head of the knight Riolu was attacking.

"We've gotta hold our ground here." Yuri said before the Knights swarmed us with even more knights. "Bisharp Metal Claw none stop, Banette Shadow Claw none stop." Yuri said to Bisharp and Banette, as he attacked a knight holding the line with me. "Bisharp/ Banette." The two of them said as Bisharp pulled out his blades, and made them grow and turn silver, and as Banette hands becem cased in black energy with a purple outline. Then the two of them started to attack the knights.

"Roserade uses Sludge Bomb." Hugo said to Roserade, as he blocked a knight's sword with his wrist blades. "Roserade." Roserade said as she placed her hands together and formed a ball of sludge that got bigger as she pulled her hands apart. She then threw to the back of a knight, hitting a couple mages.

"Vivillon use Bug Buzz." Ava said as she fired a few arrows. "Vivillon." Vivillon said as he made a sound with his wings, that giving the knight a small headache, slowing them down.

"Would you keep it down? I'm trying to work here. Metang use Bullet Punch, and Duosion use Shadow Ball." Rita said to everyone. "Metang." Metang said before delivering a high speed punch to one of the knights. "Duosion." Duosion said as she gathered shadows into a ball and fired it at the knight, knocking them over like bowling pins.

Then the Luxrays and Luxios got ready to attack. "Audino use Dazzling Gleam." Estelle said to Audino. "Audino." Audino said as she let out a blinding light, causing the Luxrays and Luxios to stop their attacks. "Now Togetic can use Play Rough on them." Estelle said to Togetic. "Togetic." Togetic said as she moved to the Luxrays and Luxios.

"And try not to hurt them too much." Estelle said to Togetic, as a cloud formed around the Luxrays and Luxios. "Togetic." Togetic said from inside the cloud, before pink hearts and yellow stars came out of it. When the cloud cleared, all the Luxrays and Luxis were on their sides, probably because Togetic pushed them down.

"Nice work Togetic. Now Skiddo us Leech Seed to tie them up." Karol said to Togetic and Skiddo. "Skiddo." Skiddo said as he fired seeds at the Luxrays and Luxios. The seeds then grew and wrapped around the Luxrays and Luxios. "Now Mawile help me with Crunch." Karol said to Mawile. "Mawile." Mawile said as she jumped up and chomped onto a knight's head with her ponytail, with her ponytail's mouth having long white teeth. Then Karol used his axe to attack the knight Mawile was biting.

"Nice work kid. Drilbur, Sableye help him with Drill Run and Fury Swipes." Raven said to Dtilbur and Sableye, as he shot a few arrows. "Drilbur." Drilbur said as he claimed his hands together over his head and started to spin, slamming into the knights stomach. Meanwhile Sableye was on the back of the knight and slashing at him with sharp white claws.

"Flygon use Dragon Breath. And Shelgon uses Flamethrower." Judith said to Flygon and Shelgon. "Flygon." Flygon said as he fired a burst of teal energy. "Shelgon." Shelgon said, firing a stream of fire. The two attacks then coiled right in the middle of the knights making an explosion, hurting a lot of the knights. But then more started to come at us.

Then I noticed a red light coming from behind us. We then turned to see Rita getting ready to cast a fireball spell. "Rita! What are you?!" Estelle asked Rita. "We have to destroy him! You worry about the Knights!" Rita said to Estelle. "Rita… but why?!" Estelle asked Rita. "We're out of time! You can't possibly…" Rita said to us, losing her words.

"Rita…" Estelle said to Rita. "Can't possibly what? fight them all off?" Judith asked Rita. "Yeah cause if you haven't noticed, we're doing that, and winning." Hugo said to Rita. "Do you have no faith in us? Succeed or die trying, wasn't it?" Judith asked Rita. "We won't give in. Rita, do what you can and save that blastia." Estelle said to RIta. "Yeah we can protect you. While you do what you do." I said to Rita.

"You guys." Rita said to us, as she stopped her spell. "I will! I'll fix this thing if it's the last thing I do! And just so you know, I'm expecting the same from you guys!" Rita yelled at us. "Take about motivation." I said to everyone. "Aw, hell. Guess I'll give it all I've got, too." Raven said to everyone. "You joining the shining youth brigade or something?" Yuri asked Raven. "Looks that way." Raven said to Rita.

"LUXRAY!" Something roared. "Not another Luxray." Ava said to me, as we heard the sound of the knights in pain. Then we saw a shiny Luxray burst from the group of knights and stand in between us and the knights. Then we all noticed Patty was riding the Luxray. "PATTY!" We all yelled. "Hey everyone." Patty said to everyone, as Cramerant and a large group of Shinxs came from being the knights.

"Patty what happened?" Estelle asked Patty. "Oh after I was sent flying I ran into Goldy and freed him and all these little ones from some cages with the help of Slowbro." Patty said to me. "Slowbro?" Raven asked me. "Slowpokes evolve form. Wait, Slowpoke evolved?" I asked Patty. "Yep." Patty said to me

"Luxray!" The Shiny Luxray roared. Then all the Luxrays and Luxios broke the Leech Seed that was holding them and got up. "But I thought we had them bet?" Karol asked. "Guess they were playing dead." Ava said to Karol. Then the Luxrays nuzzled the Shinxs and I realised what they did. "You were holding their leader and children hostage. That's why they did what you say." I said to the knights. As All the Luxrays, including the shiny one, and Luxios turned to the knights.

"Luxray." The Shiny Luxray said as he let out a pulse of electricity making the sky and ground glow yellow, with small jolts of electricity. "What the? What did he do?" Estelle asked me. "This is Electric Terrain. It makes a field that Powers up Electric attacks and prevents anyone from falling asleep." I said to Estelle.

Then I realised what he was doing. "Patty, I get off him if I was you." I said to Patty. "Okay." Patty said as she jumped off the shiny Luxray's back. "They're all yours." I said as I returned Manectric to his Pokeball. "LUXRAY!" The shiny Luxray roared before charging at the knights, while covered in electricity. The shiny Luxray then slammed into the knights ranks. "Oooh I've haven't seen a Wild Charge that wild." Hugo said to everyone before the rest of the pack attacked the Knights.

We watched the pack attack the knights with the Shinxs, while the pack was easily taking care of the knights. "Man they're angry." Karol said to everyone. "Well what do you expect. After all they did kidnap their children." I said to Karol. "You mean these Shinxs right?" Estelle asked me. "Yeah. Luxray is the final form, Luxio is the middle form, and Shinx is the base form." I said to Estelle, as she pulled out the Pokedex.

Electricity makes this Pokemon's fur glow. Shinx sends signals to others of its kind by shaking the tip of its tail while the tail tip is shining brightly.

"And they're all free thanks to you Slowbro." Patty said to Slwobro. wait what? We then turned to see Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said, surprising everyone. "Where did she come from?" Yuri asked everyone. "Slowbro." Estelle said, looking Slowbro up.

Psychic / Water

Though usually dim witted, it seems to become inspired if the Shellder on its tail bites down.

"So this thing is called a Shellder?" Karol asked me, as he got a closer look at the shell. Then Karol noticed the shells mean looking eyes and jumped back. "Yeah. You see people think that for a Slowpoke to evolve a Shellder needs to bite into its tail to become a Slowbro, and if it loses its tail it becomes a Slowpoke again." I said making everyone. Making everyone turn to me, and even making Rita stop working.

"You're joking right?" Rita asked me. "I wish I was. You see, since Slowpoke is weak, most trainers don't have them, and even when they are being watched in the wild, they always have their tails in the water, so we can't even tell if a Shellder does bite their tails or it's a natural thing. And now I'll never know because the only Slowpoke we had evolved." I said to everyone. "Just when I thought Patty Pokemon couldn't get weirder." Rita said before she got back to work.

"Patty was there. So Patty did you see Slowpoke evolve?" Estelle asked Patty. "Nope." Patty said to us, making us all lower our heads. "Well Patty back to normal." I said to everyone. "Slowbro?" Slowbro said as it moved to the rubble of the stone that was shattered when I dodged a Luxray's Iron tail.

"What is it?" Patty asked Slowbro as she cleared to rubble with her back against us. Then she turned to us with a stone that was as big as her hands. This stone was tan color with a pink and white core. "Is that?" Estelle asked me. "Slowbro's Mega Stone, yeah." I said to Everyone. "That's so cool Slowbro, now you can Mega Evolve Like Banette and the others." Patty said to Slowbro. "I'll take that and make it into something later." Hugo said to Slowbro, as he took the stone from her.

"Luxray." A vice said getting our attention. We then turned to see the whole Luxray pack looking at us. "What are they doing here?" Estelle asked me. "Yeah shouldn't they be chasing the Knights?" Raven asked me. "They probably finished driving them away, after all nothing gets people running like a living thunderstorm." I said to Raven. "But why are they here?" Yuri asked me.

But before I could answer the shiny Luxray stepped forward, and got in front of Patty. Then the shiny Luxray stretched out a paw and lowered his head. "What is he doing?" Karol asked me, as the rest of the Luxray pack did the same thing as the shiny Luxray. "Their bowing. I guess Patty has earned the respect of the pack." I said to everyone. "Thank you Goldy." Patty said to The shiny Luxray, as she gave him some pets.

"Hey Oliver what's the deal with that one? why is it a different color then the rest of the pack?" Estelle asked me. "Because he's a shiny." I said to Estelle. "Shiny?" Karol asked. "I mean a Pokemon whose color is different then the rest." Ava said to Karol. "You all should be glad to be here. Shinies are a rare sight. This Luxray might be the one of the very few shiny you'll ever meet in your life." Hugo said to everyone.

"And done." Rita said to everyone, as the cannon powered down. "Well we did it. Bad guys gone, blastia disable, and the Pokemon is free." Ava said to everyone. "Not a bad day's work." Raven said to everyone. "How about three cheers for the girls of the hour, Patty and Rita." I said to everyone, before all of us clapped and cheered. while the Pokemon, both ours and the Luxray pack, roaring with a cheerful tune in their voice.

I looked to see Patty laughing and having a good time. Looks like she broke free of Aifread shadow. And now that she's feeling better, we can head to Myorzo no problem. But where not in any rush, after all let's have Patty and Rita enjoy their moment they earned it.
