Hello everyone, it's summer for me, still working a lot, but now I can spend my time that I'm not working on my stories. And why it took me a while to write this chapter is cause I tried to figure out where's a good place to end this chapter Now onto chapter 26.
Chapter 26
A Day In Forgotten Cities
Oliver P.O.V.
After a few minutes of cheering with the Luxray pack, Yuri got us back on mission. "Okay everyone that's enough fun everyone. Judy, you take it from here." Yuri said to everyone. "Okay." Judith said as she moved to the edge of the cliff, with the rest of us behind her, and the Luxray pack scattered around us. Once everyone went quiet Judith rang the bell.
Then the sky lit up and a giant clear green jellyfish-like monster with a large city inside it, surprising us all, well everyone but Judith. "Ah, wh-whoa…" Karol said, taking in the sight. "What is that thing…?!" Yuri asked Judith. "The door has opened… That is Myorzo. Homeland of the Krityan people." Judith said to everyone. "It's definitely… impressive." Raven said to Judith. "Impressive! It's incredible." Hugo said to Raven. "It's as unexpected… as a dandelion blooming on the bottom of the sea…" Patty said to everyone.
"Looks like they won't keep it open for us very long. We should hurry." Judith said to everyone. "Ba'ul!" Judith cried out. A minute later Ba'ul showed up and we got on board the ship, as Ava and Hugo returned their Pokemon to their Pokeballs. As we left we heard the Luxray pack saying goodbye. I then noticed Patty had a big smile on her face. "It feels good freeing Pokemon does it?" I asked her. "Yeah it does. I see why you did it." Patty said to me. I then rubbed her head a little bit as we got closer to Myorzo.
"A flying City. who'd have guessed?" Raven said to everyone. "In all my years and travel. Me and the others have never seen a city like this." Ava said to everyone. "Forget the city! What about that hugo thing?! It looks like a living creature…" Rita said to everyone. "It's a floating jellyfish…" Patty said to everyone. "It's an Entelexeia. Though not one I've spoken to." Judith said to everyone.
"An Entelexeia?! How did something like that swallow an entire city?" Yuri asked Judith. "That I don't know." Judith said to Yuri. "Maybe it evolved like that to protect the city, after all Ba'ul went from something that could barely hold two people, to someone who could easily carry a ship and everyone on it." Hugo said to everyone.
"I had absolutely no idea a city like this existed." Estelle said to everyone. "That is because Myorzo cut off contact with the outside world ages ago." Judith said to Estelle. "It's not gonna attack us or anything if we get closer, right?" Karol asked Judith. "Don't worry. As long as Ba'ul is with us, we should be allowed to enter." Judith said to Karol. "Should?" Ava asked Judith, as we reached Myrozo.
And while we all were a bit nervous, nothing happened and we were let in. And the city got even more impressive. It looked ancient but looked like a city that was from the future. It was an amazing sight.
"Man… This is amazing!" Karol said to everyone. "Hey, Look…!" Rita said to everyone, as a group of people that looked like Judith walked to us. "They're all Krityans." Estelle said to everyone "A-are they welcoming us?" Karol asked everyone.
"Now this is a surprise. These visitors really are from the outside!" A middle-aged Krityan male said as the crowd looked at us. "Well, well, so it was you who called on Myorzo?" A middle-aged female Krityan asked everyone. "And what is this? How strange. What curious ornaments you wear." A young male Krityan said as he looked at our stuff. "And what interesting creatures they have." A young female Krityan said as she looked at the Pokemon.
"Actually I think they're curious." I said to Karol. "Guess they don't get many visitors here." Estelle said to everyone. "Well they do live in a flowing city in the air." Ava said to Estelle. "Hey, it's not polite to stare, you know." Rita said to them, getting a little angry. "Calm down Rita." Hugo said to Rita.
"How were such children as yourselves able to come here?" A young adult female Krityan asked everyone. "She's talking about you, Patty." Rita said to Patty. "Mn..?" Patty said. "You too, Rita." Raven said to Rita. "Raven's got a point, besides Raven, and maybe a few of our Pokemon, were all kids." I said to Rita.
"Is this monster an Entelexeia perhaps?" The middle-aged male Krityan asked everyone. "It's Ba'ul. Have you forgotten him?" Judith asked the middle-aged male Krityan. "Oh, you're the one who descended to the earth some years ago, right…" The young female Krityan asked Judith. "I believe… Judith, yes Judith was your name. There was something you had to attend to, and..." The middle-aged female Krityan said to Judith, but was interrupted by Judith.
"Are you about finished? We would like to meet with the elder." Judith said to the Krityans. "Please, feel free to do as you wish." The middle-aged male Krityan said to Judith. "He may be out for a walk again, though." The young female Krityan said to Judith, before the crowd started to leave.
"Okay, so they're a bit weird." Raven said to everyone, after the crowd left. "That's actually called "rude"." Rita said to everyone. "You're one to talk, Rita." Karol said to Rita, earring him a slap from Rita. "All Krityans are pretty much like that." Judith said to everyone. "Like what?" Estelle asked Judith. "Oh, easy going, unafraid. We are dreamers and optimists, for better or worse." Judith said to everyone. "The Krityans who live on the surface are like that too." Patty said to everyone. "Livin's together with humans. The Krityans on the surface have lost some of their naivete." Raven said to everyone.
"So is the elder like that, too?" Yuri asked Judith. "How should I put it…? He's the perfect elder for weird people." Judith said to Yuri. "Sounds like quite a unique individual. I'm tryin' ta be nice, here." Raven said to Judith. "This should be interesting." Yuri said to everyone. "I think you might be overreacting. Cause if those Krityan we meet are indication, then he might be really easy going." Hugo said to everyone. "Only one way to find out." I said to everyone as we all started to move looking for this elder.
As we walked we passed what looked like pods with large holes in them. After passing the pods we made it on a bridge and walked to the main part of the city. When we got there we found the city was covered in fancy decorations.
"I Never would've imagined there'd be a city in a place like this." Patty said as we looked around. "There are so many types of blastia I've never seen before." Rita said to everyone, as we turned our heads to a pile of rubble that looked like it was once the Bodies of Blastia. "Looks like the Krityans really were the ones who created blastia in the first place." Yuri said to everyone. "Yes. Seeing all this blastia makes it very easy to believe that." Rita said to Yuri.
"It sure would be nice if we happened upon a way to do something about your power, Miss Estelle." Raven said to Estelle. "Really… that would be nice, but…" Estelle said to Raven, as Karol got a closer look at the rubble. "It's not working." Karol said to everyone. "It doesn't have a core. It's just the body." Rita said to Karol. "And it's a pile of rubble." Ava said to Karol.
"This city has stopped using blastia. What you see here is what everyone threw out long ago." Judith said to everyone, getting everyone's attention. "Why would they do that?" Karol asked Judith. "Because that was the path we chose." A gentle male voice said to them, getting our attention again.
We turned our heads to see a very old male Krityan, with a lot of wrinkles, eyes squinted shut, and wearing a very decorative rob. "It's been a long time, Elder." Judith said to the old male Krityan. "So you were the cause of all of this commotion outside! You've returned to us." Elder said to Judith. "These children and creatures are humans and Pokemon who are traveling with me." Judith said to Elder. "Hmph." Elder said as he looked at the Blastia we have with us.
"This is… lastia is it not?" Elder asked Yuri. "Yes. It's my bodhi blastia that I use." Yuri said to Elder. "Hmm. I thought that earth-dwellers had stopped using blastia like us…" the elder said to us. "Do you not use the blastia here because it uses a special formula, too?" Estelle asked Elder.
"There are no normal or special types of blastia. Blasita is made by crushing apatheia, and processing those pieces with technology to produce cores, and through the absorption of aer…" Elder said to us. "Hold it! Cores are made from crushing apatheia?!" Rita said to Elder. "Why are you surprised Hugo mentioned something like that the other day." I said to Rita.
"Indeed, that is what the stories say. It appears apatheia was too powerful in its original form. Even without that power, it is a stone more valuable than any precious gem. This it why its power was restrained by breaking it into pieces and carving formulas into it, and thus its number were also increased. Our legends tell us that cores were always produced in this way." Elder said to use, making us all process what he said.
"A bit ironic, huh?" Yuri asked everyone. "Yeah. The apatheia that comes from Entelexeia, who hate blastia. Is necessary to make the very blastia that they hate." Karol said to everyone. "Maybe Phaeroh didn't tell us about apatheia 'casue he felt uncomfortable talkin' about it… y'think?" Raven asked everyone. "Probably." I said to Raven.
"Elder. There are many things I'd like to ask you about." Judith asked Elder. "We're trying to find out what sort of role blastia played in ancient times. And if blastia ever brought disaster to this world, we'd like to know how they might have been stopped. Myorzo must still have some folklore, right? Perhaps you could tell us what you know." Yuri asked Elder. "Hmph. Very well. My home would be a better place to speak of such things, please go inside and wait for me there." Elder said to everyone, before leaving.
"Hey there. Where are you goin'?" Raven asked Elder. "I was in the middle of my daily walk. I'll return to my house before too long." Elder said to Raven, before getting out of ear shot.
"Apatheia, blastia, aer disturbances. Entelexeia… Sounds like what Hugo said. It looks like everything's connected." Yuri said to everyone. "We might see even more connections once he's told us the Krityan folklore." Rita said to Yuri. "Probably. Now, which one of these buildings is his home?" I asked everyone. "The Elder's house is the large one right over there." Judith said as she pointed to a large building that was larger than most, it had a red paint job covering the roof.
"Okay then let's go." I said to everyone, as we started to move. When then noticed Patty and her Pokemon still taking in the sight of the city. "Patty, Slowbro, Cramerant, we're leaving." Judith said to them, making them regain their focus. "Oh yeah. We're coming too." Patty said as she and her Pokemon started to move.
Soon we were in Elder's home, there we waited for him to come back, in a large room, with a large table, with enough sets for us all, and the back wall was different then the rest, it almost looked like the wall was a piece of art that was missing the art part.
"Do you think we should have really just gone in?" Estelle asked everyone. "A little late to ask that." Ava said to Estelle. "Yeah, he's the one who told us to wait for him here." Rita said to Estelle. "I guess the Krityans really are different." Karol said to everyone. "They don't seem ta be in any great rush ta get things done, that's for sure." Raven said to everyone. I know. They certainly are weird, aren't they." Judith said to Rave. "Well they do live in a place where they have no worries. So it's probably the norm to act like this." Ava said to Judith.
"It sounds like Patty'd fit right in here." Karol said to everyone, cracking a small smile. "Mm, it might be nice to live here…" Patty said to Karol, thinking about what he said. Then Elder walked into the room. "Ah, there you are." Elder said to us. "W-welcome back." Estelle said to Elder. "I've kept you waiting. Now, please step this way if you will." Elder said as he led us to the back wall, which confused us.
"This is the very means by which the lore of Myorzo is passed on." Elder said to us. "But, um… it's just a wall." Raven said to Elder. "Judith. Use the nageeg as you touch the wall, and repeat these words: City of dreams veiled in mist, reality's extension." Elder said to Judith. Judith then walked to the wall. "City of dreams veiled in mist, reality's extension…?" Judith said to the wall.
Then the wall let out a large light. Once the light faded carvins and words appeared on the wall. "What's happening?" Rita asked everyone. "Whoa, so the negeeg can do this kind of stuff too. "You know about nageeg? Through its power and the secret phrase hands down, the wall's true form is revealed. "Th-this painting is kind of creepy." Karol said to everyone. "Judith, this is your heritage, can you read it?" Hugo asked Judith. "Yes." Judith said to Hugo.
"The Kritya. Stewards of wisdom, founders of the mighty geraios and ancient sages. Our misbegotten wisdom has sown only the seeds of ruin." Judith said, reading the first paragraph on the wall.
"The Blastia we created granted us blessings, but also blighted the aer, lifeblood of this world." Judith said, as she read the paragraph around a carving of a blastia. "Then Rita was right. There were disturbances in the aer in the past." Estelle said, making Rita think. "You think this is showing a disturbance in the aer?" Yuri asked as we looked at the carving of some kind of smoke thing covering a plant. "It looks more like the aer is trying to… eat the planet." Karol said to everyone. "You know I think he's right." Ava said to everyone. "Hmm. It is said that a great mass of aer threatening to swallow the very planet whole." Elder said to everyone.
"The Blight grew ever stronger and brought forth a cataclysm… In our terror, we gave a name to the cataclysm: the Adephagos." Judith said, reading the paragraph next to the smoke-thing. "Adephagos…" Estelle said, trying out the name.
"The danger of the Adephagos gained the attention of the Gods and called them from the heart planet." Judith said, reading the paragraph next to a planet with many different creatures coming out of it. "Are those?" Karol asked. "The legendary Pokemon, yes." I said to everyone. "That's Xerneas." I said, as I pointed to a carving of a deer with branch-like horns. "That's Yveltal." I said, as I pointed to a carving of a Y with a head. "That's Zygarde." I said, as I pointed to a carving of a man with four pieces of fabric for a cap.
"That doesn't look like the slug we met before?" Yuri asked me. "That's his complet form. What we met was his mind taken form. It wasn't his real body." I said to Yuri. "Oliver, who's the one in the middle?" Estelle asked me. I looked and noticed in the center of the planet there was a carving of a four legged creature, with a round stomach with a ring next to it, a short tail, a long neck, and a head with a long wave-like back. "That is Arceus." I said to Estelle. "That's him?!" Estelle asked me again. "Yep, that's him. What's the next part says Judith?" I asked Judith.
"With the Gods leading the way. The world united to challenge the Adephagos. And banish the loathsome power which created it." Judith said, reading the paragraph next to a battle, with carvings of Pokemon, People, and Entelexeia, battling the Adephagos. "Hey, could that be the Entelexeia?" Rita asked everyone. "It does look a bit like Pokemon, monsters, and humans fightin' something off together." Raven said to everyone.
"Though the Geraios civilization was lost, the Adephagos was quelled in the end the fact that we are all still here today is evidence enough of that." Elder said to everyone. "So then is this painting showing the Adephagos being brought under control?" Rita asked Elder. "What is that?" Patty asked everyone. We turned our heads to a carving of a large ring with the carving of a girl and a large red arrow with three lines connecting them.
"It looks like a large ring. What is that and what's on it?" Rita asked everyone. "I can't say. I've wondered that myself." Elder said to Rita. "Hey, what's the last thing it says there?" Karol asked Judith. But Judith didn't start reading. "Judy?" Yuri asked Judith.
"Hearing the world's prayers, joining their hearts, Life faded from the Child of the Full Moon and the Red Eon. The Adephagos disappeared into the void. The loss of one of their own, made the Gods angry. They left this world, and vowed they would never come to our aid again." Judith said, reading the paragraph near the end. "What?!" Yuri asked Judith. the world's prayers... joining their hearts... Life faded from the Child of the Full Moon and the Red Eon…" Estelle said to herself thinking what it means.
"Our world was preserved. But the story shall remain here for generations to tell of our sin. 240th year of Asule." Judith said, reading the last paragraph. "What's that supposed to mean?" Rita asked, getting a little angry. "There is no further explanation of what each of these phases may mean. Our ancestors created the blastia which led to the downfall of their entire civilization. They then chose to abandon the blastia and sever their ties with the outside world." Elder said.
Then for no reason Estelle took off running, leaving Togetic and Audino behind. "Estelle!" Karol yelled. "Togetic?" Togetic said, wondering what just happened. "Audino." Audino said to Togetic, as they started to go after her. But Yuri stopped them. "Let her go." Yuri said to them. "Yeah, just give her a bit to process." Ava said to them.
"Elder is this all of if?" I asked Elder. "This is all the lore of Myorzo." Elder said to me. "It's not a lot." Ava said to everyone. "But it's a start." Yuri said to Ava. "Thanks. You've given us a lot to think about." Yuri said to Elder. "You know what's helpful? There's this magic cucumber that'll turn any dish into a gourmet meal…" Elder said to us, but Judith interrupted him. "I think we'll pass. Could we trouble you for a place to rest a while? I feel we may need to impose on you until our friend has calmed down." Judith said to Elder.
"Hmph. You are free to use the house next door, no one lives there right now." Elder said to Judith. "Thank you." Judith said to Elder. "Okay. Let's be going." Judith said to everyone. We then started to leave Elder's home, all the while thinking of the mural.
A few minutes later we were all in another building all of us sitting and standing around lost in our own thoughts. Well most of us. Hugo was working on the keystone and Mega stone holders for Patty and Slowbro. And it looked like Hugo was making a badge that was in the shape of an anchor with the keystone in the anchor's hole. And for Slowbro, she's getting a necklace that has a few marbles in it, making it look like a pearl necklace. "Why do you even have that stuff?" I whispered to Hugo, trying not to break everyone's thoughts. "You never know what kind of person will get a Mega Stone. I try to be creative and make them match the wielder." Hugo whispered to me.
"The Cataclysm… The Adephagos…" Karol said to everyone, getting everyone in the mood to talk about the mural. "If that legend's true, then maybe the power of the Child of the Full Moon… Isn't the only thing to blame for bringing up the Adephagos." Yuri said to everyone. "But what about the "hearing the world's prayers, life faded from the Children of the Full Moon and the Red Eon" part?" Raven asked everyone.
"Maybe they averted danger by killing the cause of the Adephagos, the Children of the Full Moon." Judith said to everyone. "I don't think that's it. Remember the mural mentions the life fading from the Red Eon as well. And I think the Red Eon was a Pokemon. A creature that had no connection with the aer. So if the Children of the Full Moon are the problem, why did a Pokemon die with them?" I asked everyone. None of them gave me an answer, but Ava thought of something and pulled out her Pokedex.
"Oliver, do you know what Pokemon the Red Eon could have been?" Yuri asked me. "Actually I got it right here." Ava said as she turned around her Pokedex. On the screen was a creature with a red lower body and a white upper body. It had no legs, just two arms that could fold back onto itself, the lower part of the arm was white, the upper part was red with three claws on each hand, it had wings in the shape of an X but the wings on the bottom where small, it had orange eyes and a red triangle on his head. "What's that?" Karol asked Ava. "It's Latias." Ava said to Karol, before pressing a button.

The Eon Pokemon
Psychic / Dragon
Latias is highly intelligent and capable of understanding human speech. It is covered with a glass-like down. The Pokemon enfolds its body with its down and refracts light to alter its appearance.
"So that's the Red Eon." Judith said to everyone. "But wait I thought you mentioned something about Legendary Pokemon being able to sleep things like death off. How could Latias die?" Yuri asked me. "I forget when I told you that, but yes. The problem is Latias isn't that important to the world. Latias and her counterpart Latios are the master of Eon. Their job is to watch over the world for an Eon. and unlike other Legendary Pokemon. They have a life cycle. Meaning they live, they find love, they have kids, they die. And along the way watch the world." I said to everyone.
"So they live for a long time?" Karol asked me. "Yes. All though there are some legends that the true reason Latias and Latios are called the Eon Pokemon is because they're power will last for an Eon, and even if the body dies, the power will stay and will become a crystal, but know one's ever proven that legend." Hugo said to Karol.
"Power? Wait… Aren't the Hermes blastia the real cause? Can't we just stop those?" Karol asked everyone. "Switching topics there, but you're right. Let's worry about our problems first. We can figure out what Latias' role was later." I said to Karol. "Right and our problem might not be just the Hermes blastia. That legend made it sound like all bastia disturb the world's aer. Right, Rita?" Yuri said to everyone and asked Rita, who hugged her legs into her chest.
"The elder said that blastia are blastia. There are no normal ones or special ones. It's like Hugo said the other day. Blastia draws in the air, lowering the aer level. This must means the only thing that's different is how much aer each formula uses." Rita said to everyone. "Even the blastia we're using?" Yuri asked everyone.
"Bodhi blastia are special, but all blastia utilize aer in a formula. They're all the same… and formulas need aer to work. The Hermes technique, the Children of the Full Moon… They're probably only part of the danger. With more and more blastia. The Adephagos will awaken. And once it does. Arceus will destroy the planet. This is what the Entelexeia are afraid of." Rita said to everyone. "That's what I was worried about." Yuri said to everyone, making everyone go quiet.
And this time Rita broke the silence. "I didn't want to admit it…! Blastia couldn't be bad… the people who used them for evil were the bad ones. That's what I always believed but… I was wrong." Rita said to everyone. I am having a hard time resisting doing a "I told you so" dance, but now isn't the time for it. "So does that mean we have to stop every blastia? Like the people here in Myorzo did?" Karol asked everyone.
"Aye. we should toss every blastia in the trash. Gotta row our boats with oars too!" Patty said to everyone. "That's impossible. We need balstia for our everyday lives. Barrier blastia, aque blastia… Bodhi blastia, too." Raven said to everyone. "Yeah, you're right…" Yuri said to Raven. "So… it's really not possible?" Patty asked everyone.
"Actually it's already happening." I said to everyone, making everyone look at me. "What are you talking about?" Yuri asked me. "Think about it. Besides Rita who uses hers to cast magic, and Estelle who doesn't even use hers. When was the last time any of you used your Bodhi blastia?" I asked everyone. Karol opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. Then they all started to think and they realised that they haven't used it in a long time. "That's what I thought. Look everyone, it may be scary right now. But little by little the Pokmeon are already changing the world." I said to everyone.
"But it's moving too slow, we need to do something now or else things will get a lot worse before anything gets better." Ava said to everyone. "If we only have something that can replace Blastia while we work on making the world Pokemon power." Hugo said to everyone. "The Rizomata Formula." Rita said, raising her head. "What's that?" Yuri asked Rita. "It sounds familiar." I said to Rita.
"All things exist due to the sublimation, reduction, formation, and dispersion of aer. Some think that a still undiscovered theory could freely manipulate those essential mechanisms of aer. Formulating that theory is the ultimate goal of current magical research by mages around the world." Rita said to everyone, as she stood up.
"So that's the Rizomata Formula?" Karol asked Rita. "If it's found, manipulating aer will become so much easier. Of course, we need a formula to reconstruct aer from power that was originally converted from aer… but Estelle's power is actually directly manipulating aer. Estelle is the closest thing to the Rizomata Formula. If we can use a formula to interfere with and neutralize Estelle's power…" Rita said to everyone, but was interrupted by Yuri.
"I don't Really get it, but… If you work out that formula thing, then Estelle can live in peace, right?" Yuri asked Rita. "It sounds like it to me." I said to Yuri. "So by that logic, if we could control the excess of aer, we could prevent provoking the Adephagos. And if we do that, then Arceus will let us all live." Judith said to everyone. "Awesome!" Karol said, getting a little excited. 'Mm, sounds difficult but awesome." Patty said to everyone.
"So we're supposed to go looking for some formula that researchers all over the world can't find? Now you're really dreaming..." Raven said to everyone. "I will figure out this formula! For Estelle! And For me!" Rita said to Raven. "That's the spirit Rita." Ava said to Rita. "Yeah, you do that…" Raven said to Rita, before he started to leave. "Huh? Raven, where are you going?" Karol asked Raven.
"For a walk. All this talk about savin' the world, the ultimate goal of magical research… this conversation's a little much for ol' Raven to keep up with. Drilbur, Sableye, you two stay here." Raven said to everyone, as he left, leaving his Pokemon with us, making Drilbur and Sableye confused. "Well that was weird. Let's get back on topic. Rita you were telling us about this Formal." Hugo said to everyone. "That formula sounds nice and all, but the aer is getting worse as we're sitting here." Judith said to everyone.
"Yeah. For now, we have to find whoever is making the Hermes blastia. Otherwise it'll be too late. Just like Phaeroh said." Yuri said to everyone. "But how are we supposed to find whoever that is?" Rita asked Yuri. "If we follow whoever's looking for apatheia, they should lead us right to them. Cores are made from apatheia, after all." Yuri said to everyone. "So Flynn and Nan and their friends…" Karol asked Yuri. "Yeah." Yuri said to Karol.
"I wonder if we'll have to… fight them…?" Karol asked everyone. "Karol a few things. One we don't know if Nan is even alive after that battle the other day. Two even if Nan is alive, she and her guild are here on a job to find the Apatheia, meaning they were paid to do it, so there is nothing more then some grunts. Flynn on the other hand, might give us a lead on who's behind this." I said to Karol.
"What makes you think that?" Yuri asked me. "Think about it. Flynn's loyal to the knights and laws. And he was ordered to take the apatheia from us. And since he's a captain, there are few people he can take orders from. So a good first step in the right decision is to find Flynn." I said to everyone. "Even if we find Flynn we might have to fight him." Yuri said to me.
Then the floor started to shake and a boom sound filled the air. "What was that?" Rita asked everyone. "Let's go." I said to everyone, as we started to move. As we left I noticed Hugo putting the keystone and Mega stone in his bag.
We looked around to see what caused that sound, only to find something odd, a machine humming,by the main gate. "This blastia is working, why...?" Rita asked everyone, as she and Judith got a closer look. "Any idea why it's humming?" Ava asked Rita and Judith. "This one is fitted with a core." Rita said to Ava. "Something's written here… Warp balstia…?" Judith said to Ava. "So in other words, someone used this to leave Myorzo?" Yuri asked Judth as we moved closer to the two of them. "It looks that way." Judith said to Yuri.
"Didn't they get rid of all the balstia here? There shouldn't be any functioning, right?" Patty asked everyone. "Yes… At least. That's how it should be." Judith said to Patty.
Then Elder came walking up to us. "Hmph. What could a functional blastia be doing here?" Elder asked us. "It appears that someone's left the town." Karol said to Elder. "Estelle… Where's Estelle?" Rita asked everyone. "Wait, and where'd the old man go?" Yuri asked everyone. "Huh? You don't think… both of them used this?" Karol asked everyone. "What do you mean?" Patty asked Karol. "He means did the two of them use this blastia to leave. But where did this bastia come from?" Hugo said to Patty.
"The Blastia in our town should have all lost their cores back in ancient times…" Elder said to everyone. "A core was probably brought in from outside the town. It should require adjustment to function properly, but Estelle's an exception to the rules. If she can interact directly with aer, she might also be able to reconstruct aer to fit the core's formula." Rita said to everyone.
Then I noticed a shin in my eye. I looked down and found something that shouldn't be by the machine. "But why would she..." Karol asked Rita, but I interrupted him. "Cuse she was forced to." I said to Karol, as I bent down. "And how do you know that?" Rita asked me. I then stood up and showed them a Pokedex, the same one I gave Estelle soon after we met.
"Cause She never would have dropped this." I said to everyone. "This is not a good sign." Hugo said to everyone. "Wait what's going on?" Karol asked. "Estelle cares about this too much to drop it and leave it behind." I said to Karol. Then Yuri had a look on his face. "Yuri you got something?" I asked Yuri. "I got a bad feeling about this." Yuri said to me. "I'm sure we all have that feeling." Ava said to Yuri. "Hurry! We have to follow them!" Karol said as he started to run towards Ba'ul.
"Hold your horses Karol. We need to know where they warp first." Ava said to Karol, as she grabbed the back of Karol's clothes. "Ava's right. I understand how you're feeling, but please try to calm down." Judith said to Karol. "What! Aren't you worried?!" Rita asked Judith and Ava. "Of course I'm worried. That's why we should calm down and think rationally, right?" Judith asked Rita. "Judith is right. If we panic and make a wrong move. We could end up completely losing her completely or get her into deeper trouble." Ava said to Rita.
"Oh, right…. Yeah. I see… I'm sorry." Rita said to Ava and Judith. "No problem Rita." Ava said to Rita. "Got any ideas?" Yuri asked everyone. "Elder this thing is a part of Myorzo. Do you have any way of knowing where it goes?" I asked Elder. "Me no. but the master of Myorzo might have some idea." Elder said to us. "You mean the jellyfish we're in right now?" Ava asked Elder. "He's an Entelexeia, after all. Maybe he felt the flow of aer from the blastia." Judith said to Ava.
"Then ask him Judith." Hugo said to Judith. Judith nodded yes and touched her head. "Did you hear it? Could you tell us where it was? Just a vague direction… to the west, a sea of sand… a town? It's not too clear, but a desert town… I think it's Yormgen." Judith said to everyone after listening to Myorzo's Entelexeia. "That's the town in the Sands of Kogorh, where we met Duke and Absol before." Karol said to everyone.
"The Sands… Why would they go to a place in the middle of nowhere…?" Patty asked everyone. "Who knows." I said to Patty. "Let's head there now." Yuri said as we started to leave. We all got on the ship and were ready to go, but we had to wait for Judith who was a minute behind us. Once Judith was on board we took off to the area where Yormgen was located.
After an hour of flying we landed in the area Yormgen was located and started to look around. Only to find a ruined town, most of it buried in the sands, the only thing we could make out was the remains of an inn and the remains of a very large house. It then clicked this was Yormgen.
"What's happening?" Yuri asked everyone. "What's going on? It's just a pile of ruins…" Karol said to everyone. "This didn't just happen in a few days… this is like, hundreds of years." Rita said to everyone. "Maybe there was a huge fire that… hmm, no, not a chance of that happening, huh...?" Patty said to everyone. "Still think my idea of time travel is still crazy?" I asked everyone. "Quiet. Someone's here." Judith said to everyone.
We turned our heads to see Duke, Absol, and Dragon, that we met in the Weasand of Cados and the desert, with them. "Duke." Yuri said to everyone. "And Absol too." I said to everyone. "This could be our clue about the Rizomata Formula!" Rita said to everyone. "Or a chance to get eaten." Ava said to Rita, placing her left arm in front of Rita. "That's... the dragon from the Weasand of Cados." Karol said to everyone.
"He's traveling with Duke, huh?" Yuri said to everyone, as we watched Duke and Absol got onto the dragon and took off. "I've got questions for that guy, but we have to find Estelle first…" Rita said to everyone.
They got away." A voice said, making all of us turn, weapons ready. And the person behind us was Alexei and a knight. "There's no time. This isn't what I would have chosen, but so be it." Alexei said to himself. "Alexei. What are you doing here?" Yuri asked Alexei. "Ah, looking for the Princess? I'm impressed you found your way here." Alexei said to us.
"Do you know where Estelle is?!" Rita asked Alexei, as she stepped forward, making the knight with him point his spear at her. This made Rita step back. "Wh-what do you think you're doing?!" Karol asked the knight. "Is this your idea of a joke, Commandant?" Yuri asked Alexei.
"I am at a loss as to how to thank you. Your pitiful sense of justice has allowed me to work with little interruption. Long ago there was the pirate Aifread, and now we have the likes of Barbos and Ragou. They were each of use in their own fashion, but you have performed magnificent work far surpassing theirs. You're some of the most talented and foolish performers I've seen." Alexei said to us. "What?" Karol asked Alexei. "Speak english." Ava said to Alexei.
"However, the time for fooling around is over. It is time for you to exit the stage. But Oliver, I once again ask you to join me for the main event." Alexei said to everyone and asked me. "And like I said last time I'LL NEVER JOIN YOU!" I said to Alexei. "So that's it, huh? It was you pulling everybody's strings all this time…? Well I'm not laughing, Alexei!" Yuri said to Alexei, as Flynn, Sodia, and Witcher came up running.
"Commandant!" Flynn said as he and the people with him reached Alexei. "Humph. And yet another fool arrives." Alexei said to Flynn. "Flynn." Yuri said to Flynn. "What's that fool doing here?" I asked everyone.
"Commandant! How could you?! You're the pride of the Imperial Knights. How could you commit treason…?" Flynn asked Alexei. "This is not treason. I am merely following the path of one who holds true authority." Alexei said to Flynn. "And you just intend to betray the trust of His Highness Ioder?!" Flynn asked Alexei. "His Highness… Yes. I think he'll be relinquishing his rank soon." Alexei said to Flynn. "This is madness." Flynn said to Alexei.
"Milord. All is in readiness." A new voice said to Alexei. We looked up and saw Yeager on a large sand dune. "Yeager!" Karol said to Yeager, surprised to see him here. "You got a lot of never showing your face to me." Ava said as she pointed her crossbow at Yeager.
"Well done. I am headed for Baction as planned. I will leave this situation to you. And Loder's fate as well." Alexei said to Yeager. "Ja, you bet, milord." Yeager said to Alexei, before Alexei started to leave with the knight. "Alexei! Wait!" Flynn said to Alexei. "Who said you could leave?" Yuri said as we all went ater Alexei, but was stopped by Droite and Gauche.
"Stand back." Gauche said to us. "If you try to stop us…" Judith said to Droite and Gauche. We'll put you two in the ground." Hugo said to Droite and Gauche, finishing Judith's sentence. "Get the hell out of the way!" Rita said to Droite and Gauche.
"Your princess friend is at the Shrine of Baction as well, you know." Yeager said to us. "What did you say?!" Yuri asked Yeager. "Why should we believe you?" I asked yeager. "Like you have a choice." Gauche said to me. "You'll be too late if you don't hurry." Droite said to me. Then Yeager, Droite, and Gauche disappeared in a flash smoke screen.
"Should have seen that coming." Ava said as we all rubbed our eyes. "Go after Alexei and Yeager!" Flynn said to Sodia and Witcher. "Sir!" Witcher said before he started to leave. But Sodia didn't move, she just turned to me and Yuri. "Alexei… You won't get away with this!" Patty said. "Yuri, Oliver, come on!" Karol said to us. "We have a small problem to take care of first Karol." I said to Karol. "Oliver?" Karol asked me. "Yuri Lowell, Oliver Forest, give yourselves up." Sodia said to us, pointing her sword at us.
"This again, need I remind you what happened the first time you pointed that sword at me." I said to Sodia, as Chesnaught came out of his Pokeball. "And I won't let you hurt my boyfriend or my friend." Ava said to Sodia, as Hawlucha came out of his Pokeball. "And let me reacquaint you with the one that bet you last time we met." Hugo said to Sodia, as Gallade came out of his Pokeball. Then all three of the Pokemon started to growl at Sodia.
Flynn then gave Sodia a look, and made her stand down. "The Shrine of Baction is said to be located on the Hypionian continent." Flynn said to us. "Hypionia… the continent east of Desier. The Egothor Forest is there." Judith said to everyone. "Are we actually gonna trust what Yeager said?!" Karol asked everyone. "If that's where Alexei is headed, then Estelle's got to be there!" Rita said to Karol. "At the very least we know Alexei will be there." Ava said to Karol. "Plus we don't have much information, so I guess we'll just have to go check it out." Judith said to Karol.
"Aye! We can't just sit here and ignore that guy!" Patty said to everyone, with a fire in her voice. "Well Patty is ready to go." Hugo said to everyone. "What's the matter, Patty…?" Karol asked Patty. "Actually, come to think of it, didn't he say something about Aifread…?" Rita asked everyone. "He did mention something about him." Ava said to Rita. "That man is the cause of it all! If we take him out, we can get Estelle back!" Patty said to everyone.
"But what about Raven?" Karol asked everyone. "I'll bet he delivered Estelle to them, and then just took off!" Rita said to Karol. "No… Raven… He wouldn't do that…" Karol said to Rita. "Well, the facts are that she's been kidnapped, and he's nowhere to be seen! I mean, that's only logical, right?!" Rita said to Karol.
"I think you're right about Raven handing Estelle over to Alexei, but we don't know why." Hugo said to Rita. "That, or it's possible he was captured as well." Judith said to Rita and Hugo. "Well, whatever, Let's get going!" Rita said to everyone. "Rita we still have a problem." Ava said to Rita, pointed at me and Yuri, who was staring at Flynn with a mean look.
"Yuri? Oliver?" Rita asked them. "Yuri… Oliver…" Flynn said to us, not knowing what to say. We then walked up to Flynn. "Flynn. A word?" Yuri asked Flynn. "Alone!" I said to everyone, giving everyone a mean look. "Very well. Let's talk over there." Flynn said to us, leading us to the remains of the inn.
"Just what the hell are you doing?! What happened to advancing as a Knight and fixing the empire from within? You've been nothing more than a damn puppet on Alexei's." Yuri asked Flynn. "Not surprising to me. He was so desperate to get promoted that he would raid a city." I said to Yuri. "He has a point. You better not even dare, to tell me that the Don and Belius died for nothing more than a stupid promotion. Alexei was there working alongside you this whole time, Flynn! How could you possibly not know?!" Yuri asked Flynn.
"I'm sorry." FLynn said to us. "Sorry? Sorry? Sorry! Sorry doesn't cut it, Flynn." I said to Flynn. "Why, though? Did you go along with it because Ioder trusted Alexei?" Yuri asked Flynn. "His Highness is not to blame. I had total confidence in Alexei. The responsibility is mine." Flynn said to Yuri. "So your pursuit of the apatheria at Nordopolica was on Alexei's orders. I presume." Yuri asked Flynn. "Yeah…" Flynn said to Yuri. "You'd better start talking. Tell us what happened. There's no reason to worry about exposing the "Commandant" now." Yuri said to Flynn.
"The conversion of Heliord into a military installation, the abuse of the residents at Mantaic… All of Cumore's activities, the forbidden development of new blastia… All of these were carried out under the Commandant's… under Alexei's orders." Flynn said to us, looking at the ground and not our eyes.
"Well, you've grown up to be a model knight. Unquestioned allegiance to your country. That's nice." Yuri said to Flynn. "It's just like what I said in Mantaic. You've only become another broken piece in the system." I said to Flynn. "The Commandant… Alexei was not always his way! Yuri, you of all people, should remember. Those who are just will lead lives of prosperity. That was the ideal Alexei once held dear. That was why I.." Flynn said to Yuri.
"I've heard stuff like that before. It doesn't surprise me that Alexei has gone rogue with a small army, if that's how he thinks." I said to Flynn. "And all it did for you was help you lose sight of your original intentions." Yuri said to Flynn. Flynn said nothing, he just let out a grunt. "Not that I have much right to preach to you, after I let them run off with Estelle like that." Yuri said to Flynn.
"No. That never would have happened if I hadn't been blind to Alexei's true nature. I had grown far too used to simply obeying orders like a good knight, even when I doubted them. It was my lack of thought that brought this about…!" Flynn said to Yuri. "Since when is moaning and whining part of a knight's job description?" Rita asked Flynn, as she walked up to us. "Rita, this is a private conversation." I said to Rita. "Yeah, we don't care." Rita said to me, as the three of us noticed everyone else walking to us.
"Rita, you impudent…!" Witcher said to Rita, but was interrupted by Flynn. "No. it is as she says. I must shoulder this responsibility." Flynn said to Witcher. "I'm pretty sure she meant to get you yourself. We can play the blame game all week, but we have more important things to do." Hugo said to Flynn. "Right, it is up to me to rescue Lady Estellise." Flynn said to everyone.
"Whoa, what?!" Yuri asked Flynn. "Yeah, who said you're doing the rescuing. You may have a group of knights with you now, but don't forget the best team here is us." I said to Flynn, as I pointed to all of us. "I don't have a group of knights anymore. Us three are the only ones in the Flynn Brigade." Flynn said to us. "What?!" Karol asked Flynn. "Thanks to your monster. A handful of our Knights were killed and seriously injured. After that I order the monsters in our Brigade to be removed. But instead of obeying orders, they left the Brigade, and the rest joined the Commandant." Sodia said to me.
"Hah hah hah hah. So out of a whole Brigade, only two people were loyal to you. I knew you were nothing special." I said to Flynn before laughing some more. "Why you disrespecting criminal!" Sodia said to me, pulling out her sword again, and pointing it at me. "Sodia stand down." Flynn said to Sodia. "Captain! What should be done about His Highness?! If anything were to happen to him, the empire…" Sodia said to Flynn.
"I know. That's why this brigade is concentrating all our efforts on ensuring his safety." Flynn said to Sodia. "But Captain!" Sodia said to Flynn. "Please." Flynn said to Sodia. Sodia said nothing and nodded yes, not liking this one bit. "Damn it, Flynn… I didn't yell at you to have you turn around and start telling me what to do. Brave Vesperia's going to rescue Estelle." Yuri said to Flynn. "Then let me join you. Let me be a member of Brave Vesperia." Flynn asked Yuri. "Captain?!" Sodia said to Flynn, as surprise looks appeared on our faces.
"A knight joining a guild? Don't make me laugh…" Yuri said to Flynn. "I was unable to prevent the Royal guard from abducting Her Highness." Flynn said to Yuri. "Not helping your application Flynn." I said to Flynn. "But I am duty-bound to correct this wrong by saving her." Flynn said to us. "Give it up. You know you have no palace in a guild. But If you want to come with us. I won't stop you." Yuri said to Flynn.
"Yuri!" Flynn said to Yuri. "Yuri, are you sure this is a good idea?" I asked Yuri. "It'll be fine." Yuri said to me. "But you know what you have to do, right?" Yuri asked Flynn. "Yes. As soon as we've rescued Her Highness. I will return to protect Prince Ioder. I cannot allow the empire to be thrown into disorder." Flynn said to Yuri. "I think having the leader of the knights go rogue has already done that." I said to Flynn.
"I'm sorry, Sodia, Witcher. I must ask you to take care of the prince." Flynn said to Sodia and Witcher. "I'll be back as soon as I can. Please Tell His Highness the same." Sodia said to Flynn. "Understood." Flynn said to Sodia. Sodia then gave me and Yuri a mean look before leaving with Witcher.
"Yuri. Thanks." Flynn said to Yuri. "Same here. You had me worried there. It's good to see you're back to your old self." Yuri said to Flynn. "Alexei… So he's the one who's been advancing Hermes blastia technology." Judith said to everyone. "Yeah. It's taken a while, but everything points back to him. All right! Next stop, the Shrine of Baction. We're gonna get Estelle and Raven out of there, and show Alexei just who he's messing with!" Yuri said to everyone, as everyone but me, cheered in agement.
"Hold it before we go. I have one thing to say." I said to everyone. "And that is?" Flynn asked me. "I don't trust you. So if you do anything that would hurt or kill my friends, I'll put you down." I said to Flynn. "But I thought we were friends Oliver?" Flynn asked me. "Our friendship ended the second you pointed your sword at us." I said to Flynn. "Is there any way I can regain your trust?" Flynn asked me. "You have to regain theirs first." I said to Flynn, as I pointed to Corvisquire and Riolu.
"Corvisquire. Riolu. It's been a while. How are you two doing?" Flynn asked Corvisquire and Riolu. "Corvisquire." Corisquire said to Flynn, before flying to the ship. "Riolu." Riolu said to Flynn before walking to the ship. "Looks like you have a lot of work to do. Let's see how much progress you make on the way to the Shrine of Baction." I said to Flynn before we headed to the ship.
