Hello everyone I've been trying to get this chapter done as fast as I can because I have something I really want to do and announce in my next chapter of The Black and White Dragon Prince, but I still made sure that this chapter wasn't just a "we came, we saw, we left" kind of chapter. Now onto chapter 27.
Chapter 27
A Day Underground
Oliver P.O.V.
After we all got on the ship and headed for The Shrine of Baction and after a few hours of flying we found ourselves near a mountain and we heard explosions. "Look over there!" Karol said, making us all turn our heads to see Heracles firing magic shots at a creature. Heracles looked terrible. The cannons were fully repaired, but the rest of it looked like it was quickly stitched together. The creature was some kind of pegasus that was glowing bright even in the light of day.
"What is that Huge thing?" Patty asked everyone. "It's the Heracles…" Flynn said to Patty. "More like the Zombie Heracles. Look at it. It looks like it is held together by duct tape and wishful thinking." I said to everyone. "Did Alexei send it?" Yuri asked everyone. "Looks like it. But I don't know why. It doesn't look like it's as strong as it was in Dahngrest." Ava said to everyone, as the creature dived into a hole into the mountain.
"What was that creature they were shooting at?" I asked. "That's the Entelexeia. Astal. Alexei's still trying to get apatheia. It seems." Judith said to me. "It looked like it got away, though." Rita said to everyone. "Yeah. It looked like it was forced into those ruins." Yuri said to everyone. "Those ruins definitely appear to be the temple, Baction." Judith said to everyone. "I wonder what Alexei's plotting this time." Karol asked everyone. Flynn groaned a little too Karol's question.
"It doesn't matter what Alexei's planning to do." Rita said to Karol. "Right, we're just here to rescue Estelle." Yuri said to everyone. "Enough talking, let's get moving on." I said to everyone. "But if we get too close like this, we'll end up like Astral." Judith said to me. "She's right we can't just go flying in." Hugo said to me. "Let's land a little bit away from it and approach on the ground." Yuri said to everyone. We all nodded yes.
We then landed a mile away from Baction. And once we got off the ship Ba'ul took cover behind the mountain. We then started to move to Baction. After a bit of walking, we made it to the entrance, where a lot of knights were standing in two single lines. And in front of the knights was Alexei with an apatheia in his right hand, with an unconscious Estelle floating in a large purple sphere that had what looked like a chain in it and apatheia floating around her. "Alexei!" Yuri said, as we ran up to Alexei, and got Alexei's attention.
"Yeager, that useless worm. Can't he even swat a few pesky flies?" Alexei asked. "Alexei, what have you done to Lady Estellise…?!" Flynn asked Alexei. "Give Estelle Back!" Karol said to Alexei. "Estelle, come on. Wake up! Estelle!" Rita said to Estelle. But Estelle didn't respond.
"No matter." Alexei said, before raising the apatheia in his hand. Then a surge of energy went into Estelle's sphere, walking her up and making her cry in pain. Estelle then let out another cry, and a pulse of energy, knocking everyone, but me, Yuri, and Flynn out. "Yuri! Oliver! Togetic! Everyone!" Estelle said before she passed out again. "As you can see, the Princess' life will fade each time she uses her power. If you care for her, then do not interfere further, heh heh.." Alexei said to them. "Alexei…" Flynn said before passing out. "You… bastard…" Yuri said before he passed out. "You won't... get away... with this…!" I said before I passed out and saw Alexei walk into the temple with Estelle, plus a few knights walking towards us.
When we opened our eyes, we didn't find ourselves in a cage, tied up or getting killed. We saw Sodia and Wichter leading some knights into battle against Alexei's knights. "Captain. Are you okay? Captain!" I heard Sodia say this to Flynn, as me, Yuri, and Flynn got up. "Sodia…? What are you doing here?" Flynn asked Sodia. "After we left, we picked up the Heracles' movements. Prince Ioder dispatched us, saying that you could probably use our help." Witcher said to Flynn.
"That little prince never could mind his own damn business." Yuri said to everyone. "Well, what about you and all that pathetic bluster and bravado?" Sodia said to Yuri. "Sorry, but unlike you well-bred aristocats, I'm not perfect." Yuri said to Soida. "Besides, Estelle magic packs a big punch." I said to Sodia.
"Hey you guys alright?" Yuri asked everyone, as they got up. "Uhh... Huh? What are they...?" Rita asked, noticing Sodia and Witcher. "They came to save us. Apparently Ioder told them to." Yuri said to Rita. "Alexei's inside the temple. Let's hurry up after him!" Patty said to everyone.
"Captain, please come with us and return to His Highness' side at once." Sodia said to Flynn. "Sodia?" Flynn asked Sodia. "It is difficult for me to say this, but this palace is far too dangerous. The one we most need to protect for the sake of the empire right now is Pri…" Sodia said to Flynn, but was interrupted by Flynn. "I know that. I know that, as a knight, that is what I should be doing. I know that… all too well." Flynn said to Sodia. "Then…!" Sodia said to Flynn. "But this is something I need to do myself. For Her Highness and for Alexei. Please. Let me go." Flynn said to Sodia. "But..." Sodia said to Flynn.
Flynn then walked away, with Patty and her Pokemon following him. "It must be pretty damn inconvenient to be a knight, huh?" Yuri asked me. "Hey It's what he wants. Who are we to judge?" I said to Yuri. "How can people like you two… How can the Captain possibly consider people like you two as his friends?! Our Captain is the ideal to which we all aspire. He's the epitome of an Imperial Knight. And yet! For some reason when he's with you two. He is not himself. Just like this last time…" Sodia said to me and Yuri.
"Cause your idea of Flynn is a lie. The Flynn that you say is the ideal knight is a puppet on a string. But Flynn acts like himself when he's with us. I doubt you actually know the real Flynn." I said to Sodia. "That's not true." Sodia said to me. "Whatever. If you're looking for someone to have a heart of heart with, go bug Apple Head over here. We don't have time to sit around and play guidance counselor for you." Yuri said to Sodia. "A-Apple Head?!" Witcher asked Yuri.
"That's it!" Sodia said to Yuri as she reached for her sword. "Sodia, no, don't! Sodia!" Witcher said, as he got in front of her. "Listen well, Yuri Lowell and Oliver Forest! Your very existence is hurting our Captain. Stay away from him!" Sodia said to us. "Do you see a collar around his neck, no. He wants to be here. You are just sayin that because you're jealous that he trusts us more than you, that he prefers us over you, that the Flynn we know is the real Flynn, and you only know a puppet." I said to Sodia. Sodia just looked at me with an angry face before walking away.
"She's pretty intense." Judith said to everyone. "I'm pretty sure the correct word to describe her is crazy." Ava said to Judith. "A-all right, now we've done everything we came here to do. We ask that you please take care of the Captain." Witcher said to us. "Platoon, fall out! We must hurry to rejoin the brigade." Sodia said, before she, Witcher, and all the knights left. "Yuri, Oliver." Karol said to us. "Come on. We have to catch up with Flynn!" Yuri said to everyone. "And Patty too." I said to everyone.
"Right. If she's forced to use her power, then it'll be too late to save her or fix the aer." Judith said to everyone. "That bastard… Using her like some kind of tool…!" Rita said to everyone. "Alexei is acting like I thought he would. Not caring about what he's doing. All that matters to him is reaching his goal, it doesn't matter if good people like Estelle die along the way. To him she will be a necessary sacrifice." Hugo said to everyone. "He's gonna pay!" Rita said to everyone. "Come on!" Karol said, before we all ran after Flynn, Patty and her Pokemon.
We then made our way to Flynn and Patty, and Karol started to talk. "Prince Ioder was thoughtful to send his knights to help us." Karol said to everyone, making us all stop. "Too help us? Don't you mean to help Flynn and Estelle?" Rita asked Karol. "Po-tae-to, po-ta-to." Ava said to Rita. "Coming here is reckless enough, but sending help is even crazier. Doesn't that little prince understand his own position?" Yuri asked everyone. "That's the kind of person His Highness is. I'm sure that what's happened has caused him exceptional grief." Flynn said to Yuri.
"Are you referring to Estelle? Or perhaps Alexei?" Judith asked Flynn. "Both." Flynn said to Judith, "Makes sense, after all, in a way, Estelle is family, and Alexei has basically plunged the Empire into civil war. With people loyal to him on one side, and people loyal to the throne on the other side." Hugo said to everyone. "Let's hurry." Flynn said to everyone, as he got ready to walk. "Hey, slow down." Yuri said to Flynn. "What are you saying? This is no time to be taking it easy!" Flynn said to Yuri.
"We don't have any clue where enemies could be lurking, so calm down." Yuri said to Flynn. "He has a point. We lost the element of surprise. For all we know they are expecting us further in." I said to Flynn. "You're right. I apologize. Yuri, Oliver, you guys are much more level-headed than…" Flynn said to us, but Yuri interrupted him. "Don't worry about it. We're all in this together here." Yuri said to Flynn.
We then turned our heads to see Patty frantically looking around. "Patty, are you okay?" Yuri asked Patty. "I'm okay! I'm extremely okay! Come on. Estelle's waiting for us! Let's hurry!" Patty said to Yuri, before running off with her Pokemon behind her.
"She seems really gung ho today." Hugo said to everyone. "Alexei made it sound like Aifread was one of his men." Karol said to Hugo. "It is true that the Knights employ guilds on rare occasions but…" Flynn said to everyone. "We don't know whether Aifread is working for him, right? In any case. That conversation's on the back burner for now. Let's go." Yuri said to everyone, as we went after Patty.
We found some knights waiting for us at the bottom of it. To save us some time, Drilbur used Dig with Hawlucha following him. We then heard a few bangs and we looked down to see Drilbur and Hawlucha vicotus. We then climbed down, and started to walk. Only to find ourselves in a room that looked exactly like the last room we were in.
"Is it just me or does the room look exactly like the last room?" Ava asked everyone. "The last room looked like this too." Patty said to Ava. "All these rooms look the same. I wonder if they're all like this." Yuri asked everyone. "Maybe, without sunlight, you could easily get turned around in here." Hugo said to everyone. "Me, Skiddo, and Mawile, will go check out what's ahead." Karol said to everyone. "Fine but take Repede with you as well." I said to Karol.
Karol nodded, and he, Repede, Mawile, and Skiddo, went into the next room. "I've heard that this kind of construction is intended to humble visitors. So, this must be the approach to the shrine." Flynn said to everyone. "I guess if you lost in here, you got nothing better to do than to think." Ava said to everyone. "We don't have time to be dawdling…" Rita said to everyone. "It's okay. Relax." Yuri said to Rita. "Besides, it's not like we have a choice." I said to Rita, as Karol, Repede, Mawile, and Skiddo walked back to us.
"So what's up?" Ava asked Karol. "It's as we thought, the rooms all look the same from here on out. Repede's sense of smell doesn't seem to be working too well, either." Karol said to everyone. "I see. We can afford to get lost in here." Yuri said to everyone. "Here, use these. Let's make a map as we go." Judith said, as she held out a few pieces of paper. "Y-you're always so well prepared!" Karol said to Judith. "Where did you keep that?" Ava asked Judith. Judith said nothing. "Never mind." Ava said to Judith.
"Karol, can you keep track of the map?" Yuri asked Karol. "Yeah. I'm good with maps. Leave it to me." Karol said to Yuri. "We'll be in a lot of trouble if you mess up, you know!" Rita said to Karol, raising her hand, getting ready to smack Karol. "D-don't say that, come on… everything'll be fine, probably…" Karol said to Rita, after he got ready for Rita's smack.
Then we started to move. We walked around for a bit, hitting dead ends and fighting knights along the way. While walking me and Yuri noticed Flynn lost in thought, sometimes looking ahead of everyone, or looking at Riolu and Corvisquire, who still weren't giving him the time of day.
"Are you thinking of what you're going to do when you meet Alexei?" Yuri asked Flynn, as we stopped in a room, with four passagesway, trying to figure out where to go next. "I'll most likely have to fight him." Flynn said to Yuri. "Sounds like you've made up your mind." Yuri said to Flynn. "To be honest, I can't believe it even now. No… I think it's really that I don't to believe it. I looked up to him for so long. I've desperately hoped that this was just some kind of mistake." Flynn said to Yuri.
"Sorry, but I already know the answer to that." Yuri said to Flynn. "And it's one you're not going to like." I said to Flynn. "I know. Besides, the way he has treated Lady Estellise can't be explained away as simply a mistake." Flynn said to us. "No objection there." Yuri said to Flynn, before he walked away.
"H-Hey… S-Sir Flynn?" Karol asked Flynn, as he, and Patty walked to us. "You can just call me Flynn. What is it?" Flynn asked Karol. "Um, Flynn. You, uh… know what Yuri's done, don't you?" Karol asked Flynn. "You mean what he did to Ragou and Cumore?" Flynn asked Karol. "Y-Yeah." Karol said. "Don't worry. I'm not going to arrest Yuri. At least not right now." Flynn said to Karol. "Then you mean you're going to arrest him after you bring Estelle back to the capital?" Patty asked Flynn.
"Under imperial law, the things that Yuri has done are serious crimes. After all, he killed two of the empire's leading figures out of a personal grudge." Flynn said to Patty. "You mean the two leaders that sided with the man that's trying to overthrow it." I said, making Flynn look at me. "Look Flynn what Yuri did was wrong, but what he did was basically beat you to the punch. After all, if Yuri didn't kill them, then we would have to deal with them now. Chances are that Cumore would be an obstacle for us to get past here in this temple. So when you think about it, Yuri's crime isn't so serious now." I said to Flynn.
"Serious… crimes…" Patty said. "Plus Yuri didn't do it for personal grudges." Karol said to Flynn. "I know. Yuri certainly didn't do those things for his own sake. But that's how the law works. The corruption in the empire is entirely irrelevant here." Flynn said to us. "Are you perhaps talking about the same law that gave Ragou the right to kidnap a child? Or the law that got me arrested because I wasn't a noble? Cause either way, that law is broken, and you can't fix it." I said to Flynn.
"I'm trying to." Flynn said to me. "Trying isn't enough. You have or you haven't. And you haven't made things better for anyone. I'd even bet that if you didn't know Estelle was kidnapped you would be on Alexei's side." I said to Flynn. "No.. I... wo..wouldn't be." Flynn said to me. "Are you perhaps in doubt? Confused about which way is right?" Judith asked Flynn.
"I don't know. Is what I'm feeling doubt? Or is it…?" Flynn said, as he lost his words. "Flynn there is no such thing as "the right way". I'm sure Alexei think's he's doing the right thing. And so did Lysandre when he tried to destroy the world. People just use the idea of doing what is right to justify their cruelty." Hugo said to Flynn.
"Hey, what are you doing! You're gonna get left behind, y'know?!" Rita said to all of us. "Uh, s-sorry!" Karol said to Rita. "My, she's scary. Let's go." Judith said to everyone. Then everyone but me and Flynn started to move. "Flynn, I'm not going to tell you to ignore what Yuri's done. But you have to look at the good he's done too. After all, if the law says killing someone is a crime, then why aren't you charging all of us, you included, with the death of Barbos?" I asked Flynn. Flynn said nothing. "That's what I thought. Still the puppet on the stings. Maybe you should start making your own choice, insead of having someone else do it for you." I said to Flynn before I walked away.
We walked for a bit, passed a word statute and had a chat. Then we made it to a room where some knights stood guard, in front of a passageway, with what looked like a magic, chain and lock, over it. "It's the Royal Guard." Yuri said to everyone. "That has to mean we're on the right track. " Karol said to everyone. "Good call Karol. Estelle's gotta be back there somewhere." Yuri said to Karol.
"You're a captain, aren't you? Can't you tell them to get out of the way?" Rita asked Flynn. Flynn nodded no. "The Royal Guard doesn't obey anyone but the Commandant." Flynn said to Rita. "And Alexei probably hand picked them all. So talking is befoitly out of the question." I said to everyone. "We don't have much time. Let's make this quick!" Yuri said as we all attacked the knights.
"Bisharp use Metal Claw, Banette use Shadow Claw." Yuri said to Bisharp and Banette, as they charged at a knight, that aimed a spear at them. "Bisharp/ Banette." the two of them said, as silver blades came out of his arms, and as Banette's claws covered in black energy and purple outline. The three of them dodged the knight's spear and all slashed their attacks into the knight, killing him.
"Chesnaught use Wood Hammer." I said as I slammed my maces into a knight forcing him back. "Chesnaught." Chesnaught said as his fist became two barrel logs smashing into the knight I hit towards him.
"Hawlucha uses Iron Head." Ava said as she aimned her crossbow at a knight. "Hawlucha." Hawlucha said, as the top of his head turned silver and rough. Hawlucha then slammed his head into the guts of a knight, making him bend down, and allowing Ava to get a clear shot into the knight's shoulder.
"Gallade use Double Team." Hugo said to Gallade. "Gallade." Gallade said as he made multiple shadow copies and circled around a knight. This distracted the knight allowing Hugo a clean hit on the knight, with a kick.
"Togetic use Air Slash, Drilbur use Metal Claw, Sableye use Shadow Claw, and Audino cover them with Dazzling Gleam." I said to them. "Audino." Audino said as she reasleid bright multiple colors light, blinging a few of the knights. "Togetic." Togetic said as she fired blades of wind at a knight. "Drilbur." Drilbur said as his claws turned silver and he clawed a knight. "Sableye." Sableye said as claws were covered in black energy and purple outline, Sableye then started to claw his own knight.
"Shelgon use Protect." Judith said to Shelgon, as a knight tried to attack them from the back. "Shelgon." Shelgon said before covering him and Judith in a green bubble. The Knight tired break threw the Protect, but wasn't making any progress. "Flygon use Dragon Breath." Judith said to Flygon, as she forced the knight that was attacking them back. "Flygon." Flygon said before firing a burst of teal energy at the knight, ending the knight flying into a wall.
"Metang use Bullet Punch to knock a knight into the air, and Duosion use Psyshock on the same knight." Rita said to them, as she charged up a fire spell. "Metang." Metang said, as he quickly punched a knight into the air. "Duosion." Duosion said as dark purple words appeared around the knight in the air. Then Rita casted her spell and fired it at the knight. The spell hit the knight at the same time Duosions attacked, causing a small explosion.
"Mawile use Play Rough on a few of them, and Skiddo use Rock Slide after she finishes roughing them up." Karol said, as he swung his weapon into the shield of a knight. "Mawile." Mawile said before she knocked the knight Karol was fighting, and a few other knights into a pile. Then jumped on them making a cloud of dust, and sending out pink hearts and yellow stars. Once the dust Mawile jumped back. "Skiddo." Skiddo as he summoned a few rocks and dropped them on the knights trapping them.
"Riolu use Bone Rush, and Corvisquire use Rock Smash." Flynn said to them, as he blocked a knight's attack, and slashed the knight with his sword. But they didn't do that, Riolu used Quick attack, and hit a knight in the chin at high speed. And Corvisquire used Fury Attack, pecking at a knight's head rapidly. "Guess they're still not listening to you." I said to Flynn as I slammed one of my maces into a knight.
"Slowbro use Psychic." Patty said to Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said, as she held a knight in place. "And Cramerant use Scald." Patty said to Cramerant. "Cramerant." Cramerant said before firing a stream of boiling hot water at a knight slowbro was holding down with Psychic.
Once the knight Patty was fighting was overheated and passed out. We looked around to see all the knights were finished. We then all turned towards the door, as we put our weapons away. "I don't know what this is, but it looks complicated…" Patty said to everyone. "This is… a barrier that's been locked up somehow with an encrypted formula…?" Rita said to everyone. "Can you open it?" Yuri asked Rita. "It uses an ancient technology that's barely been studied at all. Even I've only seen something like this in books. I couldn't even guess how long a thorough analysis might take." Rita said to Yuri.
"I'm guessing we can't just force our way through." Karol said to everyone. "Locks usually aren't placed on anything that's easily broken into." Judith said to everyone. "And they are more or less used to keep something in or out." Hugo said to everyone. "Yeah, you're right… Wait, how did you think Alexei got through here?" Karol asked everyone.
"He probably forced the lock using Estelle's... the power of the Child of the Full Moon." Rita said to everyone. "Or used her power to make the lock." Ava said to everyone. "Either way. It means he made her use her power again." Yuri said to Rita and Ava. "Lady Estellise' power…" Flynn asked Yuri. "Estelle has the ability to perform magic without the aid of a Blastia. But she does more damage than Blastia could. If Alexei figured out how to channel it. Then to him Estelle is no different than a really powerful blastia, in that he changes its effect." I said to Flynn, making Rita clench a fist. "Someone's here." Judith said to everyone.
We then turned around to see Duke and Absol standing in the passage way. "Duke… Absol… Why are you here?" Yuri asked them. "You... How is the young lady- the Child of the Full Moon?" Duke asked us. "Alexei's got her somewhere up ahead!" Karol said to Duke. "I see. So he has made his move. "Are you here because of him, too?" Yuri asked Duke.
"The aer krene in this region has become severely imbalanced. I have come to restrain it." Duke said to everyone. "By restrain, you mean you actually have a way to do that?" Rita asked Duke. "To Quiet the aer krene, the cause of the imbalance must be removed." Duke said to Rita. "Just come out and say it. You mean kill Estelle." Judith said to Duke. "What?!" Flynn said, as most of us reach for our weapons and tension rises.
"That's enough. What is it with blaming all the world's problems on a single girl?" Yuri asked Duke. "And unstable Child of the Full Moon cannot be ignored." Duke said to Yuri. "You're as hard-headed as Phaeroh. I thought as a human, you'd see this differently." Yuri said to Duke. "Our common bond as humans is nothing. A single life cannot be privileged over the fate of the world." Duke said to Yuri. "Yeah, never mind that without a bunch of those single lives. There'd be no world." Yuri said to Duke. "Yeah Estelle is the best of us all. Ended her life for something she has no say in, isn't right." I said to Duke.
"Listen. She may be a bumbling shelter excuse for a princess, but she's one of ours. She's none of your concern. So back off!" Yuri said to Duke, surprising me with how much fire he had in his voice. "Do you say that knowing just how great a threat her existence poses?" Duke asked Yuri. "What we know got nothing to do with it. Our motto is always do what's right. And if that means having to get up close personal with you, then so be it." Yuri said to Duke.
Duke said nothing and looked at Yuri and Yuri looked back at him. They stared at each other for a few seconds, none of us knowing what they were thinking. "Very well. The time has come to show me the resolve that so impressed Phaeroh." Duke said as he tossed his sword to Yuri's feet. "This is Dein Nomos. It is the only manner in which the aer may be quieted. Raise it and calm your mind. The sword will take care of the rest." Duke said to Yuri.
"Dein Nomos." Rita said, as Yuri picked it up, and as Duke and Absol walked away. "Duke, Wait! Dein Nomos- that's the name of the sword of the imperial line that's been missing all this time. What are you doing with it? Why does something like that have the power to control the aer? Who are you?" Yuri asked Duke. But before Duke could answer him, the whole place shook.
"The answer to those questions are not what you should be seeking now. Go, before you are too late. Soon you will learn for yourselves the true weight of the burden borne by the Entelexeia." Duke said to us, as he and Absol left. Once he was gone, the tension in the air went with him.
"He's a cool guy, but was too moody." Patty said to everyone. "If my memory serves me right, we also ran into him in Ghasfarost… Who is he?" Flynn asked everyone. "I dunno. I can't tell if he's a friend of a foe." Yuri said to Flynn. "I think he's neither. He sides with no one." I said to everyone, as Yuri raised Dein Nomos. "Come on..!" Yuri said as a circle appeared around him. Then Yuri let out a burst of energy. "That formula, it's just like Estelle's. So that sword rally is…" Rita said as the lock and chins blocking the passageway faded away.
"It opened." Karol said to everyone. "Oliver, can you hold this?" Yuri asked me as he passed me his sword. "Sure." I said as I put the sword in my bag. As I did I noticed a Keystone on the end of Dein Nomos handle. "Wait!" I said to everyone as I grabbed Yuri's right hand with Dein Nomos still in it. "What is it?" Yuri asked me, as I examined the sword. "I know it. It's a Keystone." I said to everyone. "Let me see." Hugo said as he examined Dein Nomos.
"You're right but how did you know?" Hugo asked me. "I thought I saw this on Dein Nomos when we first met Duke, but I never got a good look at it." I said to Hugo. "Well from a quick look at it. I can see that this Keystone was put in when the sword was made." Hugo said to everyone. "How can you tell?" Karol asked Hugo. "Look at the holder. It's as old as the sword itself, and you can also tell by the holder that it was included into the sword design." Hugo said to Karol. "But why would there be a Keystone in a sword that is at most 1000 years old?" Ava asked. "We can think about it as we walk." Yuri said to everyone, as we all started to walk.
After walking for a bit, Yuri stopped and looked at Dein Nomos. "I can't believe this is Dein Nomos… the proof of imperial succession." Yuri said, making us all stop. "Yuri, you can become the emperor!" Karol said to Yuri. "All hail Emperor Yuri." I said to Yuri, bowing to him, making everyone laugh a little. "Hah hah, very funny Oliver. This is just for decoration. I wouldn't wanna be the emperor even if I could." Yuri said to me.
"You're so young, yet you have no ambition." Patty said to Yuri. "Says the little girl playing dress-up." Rita said to Patty. "One of the lost proofs of imperial succession… When you get down to it, the loss of that sword and the crown was the source of all the fighting over the succession to the throne. Was Duke really the one who stole the sword?" Flynn asked. "Hey, hey, give me a break. Don't go saying the Imperial Knights are gonna claim this sword." Yuri said to Flynn. "I know. This isn't the time for that." Flynn said to Yuri.
"Duke went around using that sword to control aer krene…" Judith said to Flynn. "Oh! So Duke's doing the same thing as Entelexeia?" Karol asked Judith. "Maybe so." Judith said to Karol. "That sword… it produced the same phenomenon as Estelle did. Maybe the Rizomata Formula was already worked out once before? But then, why was that information lost? Maybe it's related to the cataclysm, like the way that the balstia was lost? Why did that become an Imperial treasure?" Rita asked.
"We may be missing something. Remember a crown and this sword are a pair. So we need to ask ourselves what role could this crown have?" Ava asked. "Maybe it can negate or hide the Child of the Full Moon's powers. Remember Estelle is of royal blood. So maybe a few of the past emperors were also a Child of the Full Moon? Or maybe when the crown and sword are welded together their range of effect increases." Hugo said to everyone. "I don't know, but something is bugging me. The Keystone in Dein Nomos, Laia's Crown, the carving of Latias in Myorzo. It feels like we're missing something. I just don't know what?" I said to everyone.
"There are tons of things we don't know about this sword, or this crown, but let's wait to figure them out until we've settled things here. Right now, rescuing Estelle is our top priority." Yuri said to everyone. "Right. Let's hurry!" Rita said to everyone, before we started to move again.
After a bit more walking we find ourselves in what looks like a throne room, with stairs leading to Alexei and Estelle, looking over a very hurt Astal who was laying on a bed. We then heard Alexei, Estelle, and Astal talking. "Astal. How does it feel to face your last moments in the very temple built to worship you?" Alexei asked Astal, as he laughed at Astal. "Wre...tched...hu...man…" Astal said to Alexei. "Enough! Alexei, please stop this!" Estelle said to Alexei. "Hah, If you are so eager to free him from his suffering… Why not use your healing artes to comfort him?" Alexei asked Estelle.
Estelle said nothing. "Hah hah hah hah! You're utterly powerless. Alone, you are nothing more than a poisonous blight to this world. I'm sure you understand that now." Alexei said to Estelle. It was at that point we had enough, and ran to Alexei. "Estelle, are you all right?!" Yuri asked Estelle. "Lady Estellise!" Flynn said. "Estelle!" Karol said to Estelle. "We've come to save you!" Patty said to Estelle, getting Alexei and Estelle attention.
"You again. What stubborn misguided fools you all are." Alexei said to us. "Save us the bad guy speech, and hand over Estelle." I said to Alexei. "Yuri! Oliver! Togetic! Flynn! All of you!" Estelle said to us. "Estelle, we've come to rescue you!" Rita said to Estelle. "Humph, You are incapable of saving this Princess. I am her only hope for salvation." Alexei said to us. "Spare me!" Yuri said to Alexei.
"Yeah that's a lie, after all your little bubble is hurting her. How can that be salvation?" I asked Alexei. "Simple. The most glorious moment for any tool is when it is finally used. Even the poison of this world can be a blessing, if used correctly. And only I can do that. But I need something from you Oliver." Alexei said to me. "And what is that?" I asked Alexei. "Give me the blastia in your scarf." Alexei said to me. "My keystone, why do you want it, and why should I give it to you?" I asked Alexei. "I don't need to tell you why, but if you want a reason to hand it over, then I'll give you one." Alexei said before raising his apatheia.
Estelle then let out a cry of pain. Alexei then lowered his apatheia. "Do you need another reason?" Alexei asked me. I growled at him, but then I saw Estelle having a hard time breathing. "Fine. Here, take it!" I said to Alexei, as I removed my keystone from my scarf, and tossed it to Alexei. Alexei caught it with his free hand. "Just so you know I will be taking that back." I said to Alexei. "I doubt that." Alexei said to me.
"Now princess, come with me. Without me, I am afraid of your power…" Alexei said to Estelle, but was interrupted by Flynn. "Alexei!" Flynn said to Alexei. Alexei said nothing, he just used Estelle's power again making Estelle cry out in pain again. "Alexei Stop! Aah!" Judith and Hugo said as they rushed forward, but stopped when a blinding red light flashed. "Judith! Hugo!" Estelle said to them, as Astal let out a groan. "Hah hah hah. Weren't you Entelexeia left to be the masters of this world when the gods left?" Alexei said to Astal.
"Stop it! Let Estelle go!" Yuri said to Alexei. But then Astal died and turned into a small apatheia. "Oh, how disappointing. He's dead." Alexei said as he picked up the apatheia. "But how can that be…?" Estelle asked Alexei. "Smaller than I would have hoped. No matter. It can be used in any number of ways." Alexei said, as he put the apatheia in his shirt.
"Alexei…" Yuri said to Alexei. "You're the worst Alexei!" I said to Alexei. "Ah, you've come this far. Now, be baptized in the aer your dear princess changes with her own hands!" Alexei said to us, before making Estelle let out a blinding red light, making us all cover our eyes. "No! Please stop this!" Estelle said to Alexei. "Gr… Take this!" Yuri said to Alexei as he raised Dein Nomos and stopped Alexei.
"What? What are you doing with that sword? What happened to Duke?" Alexei asked Yuri. "He gave this to us before he took off. And he didn't seem all that worried about you." Yuri said to Alexei. "What Irony. That which I have searched for all these years. That it would arrive at my feet only when I no longer have a need for it… with the Child of the Full Moon. the apatheia, and my knowledge. Dein Nomos means nothing to me. Besides, you're not even using that sword's true power." Alexei said to us.
"True power?" I asked. "Talk to yourself a lot, huh? Not a good sign. Now shut up and let Estelle go!" Yuri said to Alexei. "Heh. Are you certain that is what the Princess wants?" Alexei asked us. "Estelle?" Judith asked Estelle. "Your Highness." Flynn said to Estelle. "Estelle! What's going on?! Estelle!" Rita asked Estelle. "I… I don't know." Estelle said to us. "What are you talking about?" Karol asked Estelle.
"As long as I'm with you all I'll only cause you harm. But… I want to be with you! I just don't know what I should do!" Estelle said to us. "Estelle! Pull yourself together!" Patty said to Estelle. "Forget about that, Estelle! Get over here! If there is something you're unsure about, we'll work it out together!" Yuri said to Estelle. "Yuri." Estelle said to Yuri. "Estelle, you're one of us. No matter what's wrong with you, we don't care. We're not leaving you." I said to Estelle as we all charged to Estelle. But we got blasted back by Alexei using Estelle's magic.
"I… I can't take this…" Estelle said. "Now now, Mister Yuri Lowell, and Mister Oliver Forest. Such brash behavior does not befit a young lady's escort. Not very gentlemanly of you two at all." Alexxei said to us, as we stood up. "Sorry for my lack of manners. There aren't many gentlemen where I'm from." Yuri said to Alexei. "Besides, what would a man that kidnapped a woman know about being a gentleman?" I asked Alexei.
"That Sword is nothing more than an annoyance now. I will rid myself of you here." Alexei said to us. "Yuri! Togetic! Oliver! Everyone!" Estelle said to us, before she and Alexei left. But before we could go after him, a bunch of knights ran into the room, blocking us. "Get out of the way!" Rita said to the knights.
Then a knight walked into the room. The knights saluted this man before leaving, soon it was just us and the man, but I couldn't get a good look at the knight. He looked like every other knight, but he had smoe copper skin, and long black hair. But There was something familiar about this knight. "Who's he?!" Rita asked. "Captain Schwann…!" Flynn said to Rita. "Wait, you mean the captain of Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos?" I asked. "Yes." Flynn said to me.
Could that be the familiarity I feel? No, it's something else. "I thought you always let your knights handle things for you. What's with the change?" Yuri asked Schwann, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Drilbur?" Drilbur said, as he tilted his head. "Sableye?" Sableye said, as he leaned his head forward, trying to get a closer look at Schwann. Then Repede barked at Schwann. "What is it, Repede, Sableye, Drilbur?" Yuri asked them. "I suppose there's no fooling the nose of a dog, or their scenes." Schwann said.
Then we all realised just who this guy was. "That voice… Wait… Raven." Karol said to Schwann. "Huh? The old man?! What's going on?!" Patty asked everyone. "Please tell me this is some kind of joke?" Ava asked everyone. "This doesn't look like a joke." Judith said to Ava. "One of the Union's most important members is a captain in the Knights?" Rita said to everyone. "The first time we met, I didn't think it was possible , but…" Flynn said to everyone. "Huh, so that's what was going on." Yuri said to everyone.
"Wait! But what about The Don, Raven…?" Karol asked Schwann. "So it wasn't just the Commandant, but you too… why?" Flynn asked Schwann. "Yeah, what do you get out of this Rave?" Hugo asked Schwann. "Conversing with you is not one of my duties." Schwann said to Flynn and Hugo. "Raven...!" Karol said to Schwann. "We're in a bit of a hurry. So let us through. Wait, you're not really thinking of trying to stop us, are you?" Yuri asked Schwann.
Schwann then pulled out a red sword. "What the hell?!" Yuri asked Schwann. "Raven, you don't have to do this!" I said to Schwann. "Schwann Oltorain. First Captain of the Imperial Knights. Ready to battle." Schwann said before lunging at us. We then scattered.
"I guess we have no choice. Bisharp use Metal Claw, and Banette use Shadow Sneak." Yuri said as he started to attack Schwann. "Bisharp." Bisharp said, as he followed with a single silver blade came out of his right arm. "Banette." Banette said as he disappeared into a shadow.
But when Yuri and Bisharp reach Schwann, Schwann blocked Yuri's attack, dodged Bisharps Metal Claw. And when Banette started to come out of the shadow, Schwann kicked him, sending Banette back a few feet.
"What? He stopped them?" Karol asked. "He knows all of our moves. That means he also knows how to counter them." Hugo said to everyone. "Then let's make some new ones. Hawlucha use Acrobatics." Ava said as she fired a few arrows at Schwann. "Hawlucha." Hawlucha said, as he started to jump around. Schwann dodged Ava arrows, and when Hawlucha was about to kick Schwann, Schwann used the flat part of his sword to block Hawlucha's attack and to push Hawlucha back.
Then Riolu charged at the front of Schwann with Bone Rush. While Corvisquire charged at the back of Schwann with Rock Smash. Schwann saw this coming and grabbed Corvisquire, and threw him into Riolu. The two crashed into each other. Schwann was then about to strike the two of them, but Flynn used his shield to block Schwann attack. "Leave them alone." Flynn said to Schwann, as he pushed Schwann back with his shield.
"You two okay?" Flynn asked Riolu and Corvisquire. They nodded yes. "Okay then Riolu use Quick Attack, and Corvisquire use Rock Smash." Flynn said to them, as he moved forward to Schwann. Riolu and Corvisquire nodded yes and followed Flynn. Schwann tried to attack Flynn, but Flynn blocked it again with his shield. That's when Riolu and Corvisquire appeared from behind Flynn and hit Schwann in the shoulders. These attacks just made Schwann take a few steps back.
"Skiddo use Rock Slide." Karol said to Skiddo. "Skiddo." Skiddo said before rocks started to fall from the sky. But Schwann dodged them all. "What's wrong with us? Why can't we hit him?" Rita asked everyone before Schwann came out from behind one of the rocks. "Rita, look out!" I said to Rita. But before Rita could move or Schwann could attack, Duosion slammed herself into Schwann's side, pushing Schwann away from Rita. Schwann then elbowed Duosion in the face trying to get Duosion off him.
This annoyed Duosion and she started to glow light blue. Dousion then grew, gaining two ear like bumps on her head, and some muscular arms with three long bumps on the end of it. When the light faded we could see Duosion's body inside her body had a few more bumps, with two stubs for legs on the body, and only part in the ears, and four ords in the arm, with a red ord on the end. "Reuniclus!" Dousion said before punching Schwann in the face.
"What happened to Duosion?" Rita asked me. "She evolved into Reuniclus. And she's giving Schwann a hard time. After all, he doesn't know how Reuniclus fights." I said to Rita as I pulled out my Pokedex.

It's said that drinking the liquid surrounding Reuniclus grants wisdom. Problem is, the liquid is highly toxic to anything besides Reuniclus itself.
"We have a problem." Ava said to everyone as we noticed Schwann adapting fast to Reuniclus fighting style, as I put the Pokedex away. "Reuniclus caught him off guard, but we need to do something crazy to surprise him." I said to everyone. "I have the perfect thing. Patty, Slowbro catch." Hugo said to Patty and Slowbro as he threw them their Keystone and Mega Stone. Patty caught it, while Slowbro's Mega Stone landed on the top of her head.
"You want us to Mega evolve?" Patty asked Hugo. "Trust me Mega Slowbro is just the Pokemon we need to win this." Hugo said to Patty. "If you say so." Patty said to Hugo, as she put her Keystone on right over her heart. "For Treasure and friendship. We will move past the past and find real treasure. NOW MEGA EVOLVE." Patty said as she placed a few fingers from her right hand on it. Then energy from her Keystone came out and connected with the energy coming out of Slowbro's Mega Stone.
Slowbro then started to glow and change shape. Then the light faded revealing Slowbro's new form. She now looked like a large top with her shell completely covering her, with her tail sticking out of the bottom and standing on it, pulse four spikes above the tail, and her head sticking out of the top with teeth around it, her arms sticking out from the side, and the eyes of the shell on behind the head.
"So that's Mega Slowbro?" Karol asked me. "Yep." I said to Karol. "Just when I thought her Pokemon could get weirder." Rita said to everyone. "We can talk about how weird her Pokemon is later. Patty finish this." Hugo said to everyone. "On it. Slowbro use Water Gun." Patty said to Hugo and Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said as she fired a stream of water at Schwann. Reuniclus noticed the water and backed away. That's when the water hit Schwann. Schwann used his free arm to block the water and run to Slowbro.
Schwann then tried to pierce his sword into Slowbro's shell, but it didn't, insead it just made Slowbro spin, making Schwann's sword slide right off Slowbro's shell. Schwann then tried to attack again, but each attack just slid off Slowbro's shell. While that was going on Reuniclus held her arms close together and made a ball of psychic energy, and then split it into a few portals. "Slowbro use Water Pulse." Patty said to Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said before firing a ball of water at Schwann. Schwann used his sword to block it.
"Slowbro use Psychic." Patty said to Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said, as her eyes glowed pink, and a pink outline appeared on Schwann. Schwann was then sent back a few feet away from everyone. "Now use Water Gun." Patty said to Slowbro. "Slowbro." Slowbro said as she fired a stream of water. Schwann crossed his arms and bent his knees, blocking the attack. Then a few portals opened up and shots of psychic energy shot them and hit Schwann hard. Slowbro then stopped her attack, and Schwann fell to his knees. "Looks like Schwann can't handle Mega Slowbro and Reuniclus' new Future Sight attack." I said to everyone
Schwann then stood up and charged. Yuri met him and the two got into a sword fight. Then Banette and Bisharp came from behind and grabbed Schwann's arms, allowing Yuri to get a clean hit on him across his heart, making Schwann let out a cry of pain. But I could have sworn, Schwann wanted Yuri to do that. "Hey!" Yuri said as we noticed Schwann's chest had something metallic and had a red crystal that was glowing in it over the sport where his heart is. We could also hear a bet from the crystal
"What is that?!" Flynn asked Schwann. "Heh… I would have thought such a blow would be the end of me… of this cursed body." Schwann said. "What the… Is that a blastia in his chest?!" Rita asked. "Looks like it, but what is it doing there?" Ava asked. "It's his heart. Or rather a blastia that has taken its place." Judith said to everyone. "But why would he have something like that?" I asked.
"The original was lost ten years ago." Schwann said to us. "Ten years… you mean the Great War?" Karol asked Schwann. "I lost my life during that war. But Alexei saw fit to give it back to me with this." Schwann said to Karol. "It's hard to believe he'd go that far…" Patty said. "So that must be a Hermes blastia as well. Why did Ba'ul not notice it then…?" Judith asked Schwann. "I would imagine that is because it isn't powered by aer, but by my own life force." Schwann said to Judith.
"A blastia powered only by human vitality? No way…" Rita said in shock. "Is Alexei trying to play god with blastia?" Hugo asked, before the whole temple shook. "What was that?" Karol asked everyone. Then the room started to collapse, dropping some rubble in front of the way in. "Oh no! We're trapped in here!" Patty said to everyone, as Schwann sat down.
"That would be Alexei, he intends to bury you alive." Schwann said to us. "But that's crazy you're still in here." Flynn said to Schwann. "He couldn't pass up a chance to dispose of that sword, now that it's of no use to him." Schwann said to us. "So he was using Estelle to lure Duke here. This guy is even more twisted than I thought." Yuri said to Schwann.
"Hey, old man! This is no time to be standing around!" Rita said to Schwann. "The end has finally arrived for me." Schwann said to us. "You… never intended to leave this place alive." Judith said to Schwann. "Captain Schwann…" Flynn said to Schwann. We all looked at him.
Then Yuri walked up to him, and grabbed Schwann's left shoulder. "Who said you just get to lay down and die right here? Even if all your travels with us were just some joke to you… are you trying to tell me your anger at the Don's death was just an act, too? I thought the guilds never quit until the job was done… Wasn't that his dying wish?! You go on living until the end! If not for yourself then live for Drilbur and Sableye. You're their partner, they care about you. And I know you care about them, even if you are someone else now." Yuri said to Schwann.
"Man, you really can be a downer sometimes, ya know that? And when did you start sounding like Oliver?" Schwann asked Yuri. Schwann then stood up and pulled out a bow, he fired an arrow at the rubble. The arrow exploded, making the rubble unstable and collapsing, clearing the way for us. "Look out!" Patty said, before the ceiling started to collapse. "RUN!" I yelled to everyone, as we hightailed it to the exit. "Danm! We're not gonna make it!" Yuri saud as the ceiling finally collapsed.
Lucky for us, Chesnaught caught a large piece that was about to hit most of us, Gallade and Hawlucha caught the rubble that almost blocked the entrance again, and Schwann caught a piece that almost crushed Karol. All of them were locked in place unable to move. But Schwann was having it worse. All the damage from the fight and the price he caught, put a large strain on his body. This made his chest blastia glow super bright.
"Raven!" Karol said to Schwann. "No! If you use your blastia like that in the condition you're in, you'll…!" Rita said to Schwann, but Schwann interrupted her. "We can't keep this up forever… get outta here... And then return your Pokemon… to their Pokeballs!" Schwann said to us. "Old man!" Yuri said to Schwann. "Captain Schwann!" Flynn said to Schwann. "We're not leaving you!" I said to Schwann. "Alexei's headed for the capital. There he'll implement the final stages of his plan. The rest... I'll leave in your hands." Schwann said to us.
"Raven! Raven!" Karol said to Schwann. "Karol we gotta go." I said as I grabbed Karol' hand, and started to pull him out of there. "Heh. Must be gettin' soft in my old age…" Schwann said as we all left the room and returned Chesnaught, Gallade, and Hawlucha. That's when the room finally caved in, with Schwann still inside it.
We made a few feet before stopping. "Ooh… Raven…" Karol said, as he cried into chest. "I got you." I said to Karol, hugging him. "That idiot… So he really was one of us, after all. Damn it… You idiot!" Rita said, letting out her grief. "Why'd that have to happen? Why..?" Patty asked, as Slowbro turned back to her normal form.
"Look alive, we've got a princess that needs rescuing! Now step to it!" Yuri said to everyone. Everyone then pulled themselves together and started to move, everyone but me, Judith and Yuri. "Stuck with another job nobody much wants?" Judith asked Yuri. "It's nothing. We are actually in a hurry." Yuri said as cracks appeared on the ceiling above us., "You got that right!" I said before rocks started to fall from the ceiling.
We then made it back to the labyrinth part of the temple. "Karol which way?" I asked Karol. "Let me see." Karol said as he pulled out the map he made. Then a large rock fell out of the ceiling, right above Karol. "LOOK OUT!" I said to Karol, as I pulled him back. Doing this caused Karol to let go of the map, and got the map crushed under the rock. "The map! That was the only one I had!" Karol said to everyone. "Then does anyone remember the way out?" Ava asked everyone. We all nodded no. "We can't get lost down here." Yuri said to everyone.
"Metang. Metang. Metang." Metang said as he banged his head. "Metang bangind yur head isn't going to help." I said to Metang, as we dodge smaller parts of the ceiling. "Metang. Metang. Metang! METANG!" Metange said before he started to glow light blue. Metang then grew and gained two more arms, losing his spikes on his body and gaining an X across his eyes. "Metagross." Metang said as the light faded. "You becoming a Metagross will probably help." I said to Metagross. "How?" Karol asked me. I then pulled out the Pokedex.

"Translation, we have one of the smartest things on the plant here with us." I said to Kaol, as I put the Pookedex away. "Metagross think you can lead us out of here?" Rita asked Metagross. "Meta." Metagross said as he nodded yes and led the way. "Come on, let's go!" Rita said to everyone. "I sure hope Metagorss knows what he;s doing." Yuri said as we all follow them.
After dodging a lot of rock, we finally made it out of the temple, with a dust cloud behind us. We all chough and waved our hands in front of us, trying to get the dust out of our lungs and faces. "The Heracles is gone!" Rita said as the dust cleared. We then saw she was right. Heracles was gone "I guess the ceiling breaking apart was Heracles stomping and moving on and over the temple." Hugo said to everyone. "But the question is where'd it go?" I asked everyone. "Raven said they were heading for Zaphias. They're probably heading there now." Yuri said to me.
"Y-Yuri Lowell?! Oliver Forest?! What are you two doing here?! And Captain Flynn, too?!" A voice asked us. We then turned to see Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos walking towards us. "Leblanc?! Even Tweedle A and Tweedle B are here." Yuri said to them. "I say, don't you dare call me that!" Adecor said to Yuri. "And what is a Tweedle?! Out with it!" Boccos said to Yuri. "Fools! This is not the time for nonsense!" Leblanc said to Adecor and Boccos.
"It's been a long time, Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos. So what are you three doing here?" I asked them. "We're looking for Captain Schwann. Captain Flynn, you didn't happen to see Captain Schwann, did you?" Leblanc said to me and asked Flynn. "We haven't been able to get ahold of him since he went by himself to coordinate with His Excellency the Commandant. I honestly cannot understand what His Excellency is thinking lately… The Royal Guard won't tell us anything. We looked all over for him and finally arrived here, but…" Leblanc said to everyone. None of us said nothing to Leblance.
"Alexei is on his way to the capital. In Heracles." Yuri said to Leblanc, breaking the silence. "Ah, we just missed him, then! And what about Captain Schwann…?" Leblanc asked us. "Rav… Schwann saved us." Karol said to Leblanc as he and Rita lowered their heads. With Karol's being one of sadness, and Rita's one of anger. "Ooh, did he now?! So then, he's aboord Heracles as well?" Leblanc asked us. "He's in the shrine. The deepest part." Judith said, as the temple rumbled a little. Letting everyone know that the inside had completely collapsed. We all then lowered our heads in sadness
"What…?" Adecor said in disbelief. "Wait… you…" Boccos said to us. "No, this is not happening. I-it can't be! What is the meaning of this? Captain Flynn, answer me! Captain Flynn!" Leblanc asked Flynn. "We almost died thanks to Alexei! The only reason we're standing here now is because of you Captain!" Rita said to Leblanc. "That man... was a true knight." Flynn said to Leblanc. "Alexei apparently has some sort of secret plan for the empire, and it can't be good. We've going to make sure he doesn't get the chance to carry it out. If you're any kind of knights at all, you won't stand in our way." Yuri said to Leblanc.
"But how… How could it have come to this…?" Leblanc asked as he dropped to his knees. "It's all Alexei's fault. It was him that led to all this." I said to Leblanc. "Guys now's not the time for grief." Ava said to everyone. "Aye. If we don't hurry, the Heracles is going to get away!" Patty said to everyone. "Let's hurry. I'll call Ba'ul." Judith said to everyone. "Wait! Where's Metagross, Drilbur, and Sableye?" Hugo said to everyone.
We all then looked around to see Metagross digging a hole nearby, and Drilbur and Sableye missing. "Found Metagross, but where's Drilbur and Sableye?" I asked everyone. "You don't think they're still in the temple?" Karol asked me. "Hopley not. But if they are, I'm sure they're okay." I said to Karol. "How do you know?" Rita asked me. "One they're tough, and two their kind are used to living underground." I said to everyone.
"We don't have time to wait for them to get themselves out. We have to go!" Yuri said to everyone. "He's right. The more time we waste the farther Alexei gets." Hugo said to everyone. "But what about Drilbur and Sableye?" Karol asked Hugo. "We'll have to find them later. Hopely they're okay." Hugo said to Karol. "Right. Metagross time to go." Rita said to Metagross as she walked to him. When she got to Metagross and kneeled down. "Hey Hugo, you might want to see this." Rita said to Hugo. Hugo then walked to Rita.
"Well I'll be." Hugo said as he kneeled down and grabbed something from the hole. Hugo then pulled out a light crystal with an orange and white core. "A Metagrossite. Didn't expect to find one here." Hugo said. "Is that?" Karol asked me. "Metagross's Mega Stone. Yep." I said to Karol, as Ba'ul arrived. "I'll make it into stuff for Rita and Metagross later Estelle needs us first." Hugo said to everyone. We all nodded and got on the ship and went after Heracles. Hopefully Estelle is on it and Alexei too. I'm going to end him for what he did to Shwann... No for what he did to Raven.
Hello everyone please like, follow, or review if you like this story. And I know it was a bit much for Rita in this chapter. All of her Pokemon evolving and getting her Mega stone in the chapter. But I planned to give RIta her Mega stone in the last chapter and forgot. And I'm running out of ideas on where the Pokemon of the team should evolve. I have a plan for most of them, but I'm having a little trouble with a few of them.
