Chapter 28
A Bad Day With A 100% Chance Of Failure
Oliver P.O.V.
We have been looking for Heracles, giving over the loss of Raven. "Raven…" Karol said. "Does anyone want to talk about him?" Ava asked everyone. "Captain Schwann was long said to have been the commandant's right-hand man. He was rarely seen even among the Knights, and it was rumored that all of his missions were top-secret." Flynn said. "That's probably because he was engaged in work as Raven." Yuri said to Flynn. "So. Alexei would even sacrifice his own right-hand man…" Judith said.
"What kind of man would do that?" Hugo asked. "A terrible man." I said to Hugo. "Agree. He likely did it because he's entered the final stages of his plan. Seems the old man was just looking for a place to die. That damn Alexei knew it and used it to his advantage." Yuri said to me. "That guy's like a rotting fish." Patty said to everyone. "No, a Rotting fish is better than Alexei." I said to Patty. "Agree." Ava said to me, upsetting Flynn a little.
"None of that matters. Right now we have to save Estelle. Got it?!" Rita said to everyone. "Of course." Flynn said to Rita. "But before we can do that we need to find Heracles." Hugo said to Rita. "Right." Yuri said to Hugo. "Heracles was headed for the capital, right?" Judith asked everyone. "Yes, and we're heading to the capital too. Which means we should have run into Heracles by now." Ava said to Judith.
"And we have, look!" Hugo said as we all turned to the front of the ship to see Heracles right in front and below us. "We caught up to them!" Yuri said to everyone. "Look!" Karol said, as we noticed a small fleet of ships heading for Heracles. On the ships we noticed Sodia giving orders to sme knights. "Sodia?!" Flynn said with a surprised tune in his voice.
"What's she doing here?" I asked everyone. "Looks like she's leading knights to attack Heracles." Hugo said to me. "That's suicide." Judith said to everyone. "They're dead if they get too close to Heracles." Rita said to everyone. "I can't believe they'd be stupid enough to attack it head-on…" Yuri said to everyone. "I can, it's Sodia after all." I said to Yuri. "Still, there's no way their fleet stands any chance against that fortress, even if Yveltal trashed it a little." Yuri said to me.
"Well, If we can't get in from the bottom. We'll just get in from the top." Judith said to everyone. "What?! Wait. Let's think this over a little more." Karol said to Judith. "No time! In coming!" Ava said, as Heracles started to shoot at us. "Ba'ul, take us up!" Judith said to Ba'ul. Ba'ul then started to go up and dodge the cannon fire. "Hold on tight or you'll be shaken off." Judith said to everyone, as we held onto various parts of the ship. "Wait, are they missing us?" Ava asked everyone. "Hm?! The artillery fire's erratic?!" Flynn said to Ava. "Any idea why?" I asked everyone. "There! The rear left! It's the only area that isn't shooting." Rita said to me.
"Okay, that's the spot!" Yuri said to everyone. "Do you think he can get us there?" Yuri asked Judith. Ba'ul then let out a roar. "He'a a little hurt that you'd even ask." Judith said to Yuri. "Heh, sorry. All right. It's up to him." Yuri said, as Ba'ul took us in. "Everyone get ready to jump. We'll have a split second window to hop on." I said to everyone. "Ba'ul after we get off, get out of range of the cannons, but stay as close as you can, we might need a quick exit." Hugo said to Ba'ul. Ba'ul then let out a bellow, letting Hugo know that he understood his request. "Okay people let's do this." I said to everyone, as we got ready, as Ba'ul got close. Once we were right above the spot, we all jumped, all the while Karol let out a scream.
Once we landed Ba'ul got out of range of the cannon fire, as fast as he could. "Man, I thought I was dead…" Karol said to everyone. "Are you sure you weren't talking about these guys?" I said, as we all noticed the knights laying on the floor, with mud stains all over the place. "The Royal Guard's been taken out…" Flynn said to everyone. "So that's why the cannon fire from this section was so weak." Yuri said to everyone. "But what's with all the mud?" Ava asked everyone. "Someone's here…" Judith said to everyone.
"You never come prepared with a plan, do you? Is brute force the only strategy you know?" A voice said. "That's right, I say!" A second voice said. "This time it's curtains for you!" A third voice said. We then realised that it was Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos, and saw them standing ahead of us, with Leblanc in front, and Adecor to his back left, and Boccos to his back right "You guys again? Don't you ever give up?!" Rita asked them. "And how did you get here first?" Ava asked them.
"The Schwann Brigade? Still gunning for Alexei after everything that's happened?" Yuri asked them. "We Knights must do as our pride demands!" Leblanc said to Yuri. "Come on you guys, leave us alone." Karol said to them. "Seriously! Looking at you guys makes me remember a face that I'm trying hard to forget!" Rita said to them. "What sort of face do ya mean? Must be some poor sap with a pretty ugly mug." A voice said to Rita. A voice I never thought I would hear again.
Then the last person I ever thought I saw came into view. "Raven." Me and Yuri said at the same time. Then everyone said their surprise remarks to Raven, all shook to see him alive. "Raven the Great, at your service." Raven said, doing a flip. "And with some new Pokemon." Raven said to us, as Sableye came into view with a large yellow stone, with a light red and light purple core in it. Then a mole that was a about 2 feet tall, with white eyes, it had brown fur, with some red spots, and a white long face, with a pink noise, and two red lines on it's cheeks, and had three metal claws with two sharp blades on the back of the middle claw, and a metal horn with two sharp blades on top of it.
"Sableye has a Mega Stone now?! And you have an Excadrill too?. Wait, that's Drilbur!" I said to everyone. "Really? That's Drilbur evolve form?" Karol asked me. "Here." I said to Karol as I pulled out my Pokedex.

The Subterrene Pokemon
Ground / Steel
It can help in tunnel construction. It's drill has evolved into steel strong enough to bore through iron plates.
"That's not all. Let me introduce the newest members of the Schwann Brigade." Leblanc said as three more Pokemon came into view.
The first one looked like a skinny purple rabbit with a long spike on its head, a few more spikes on its back, tiny spikes on it's oval ears, two white claws on four feet. The purple rabbit moved to Adecor's left leg.
The second one was a round light blue rabbit with a small bump on its head, two spikes on its back, four whiskers, and one large white claw and a small white claw on it's four legs. The light blue rabbit moved to Boccos' right leg.
The final one was a big gray rabbit that was about three feet tall, standing on its back legs which was brown, it's front white paws, it had a large belt of brown fur that went all sound it stomach, with a yellow patch over its belly, it had a patch of brown fur around its mouth and neck, two small ears with a muscular arm with three brown claws attached to each ear. This rabbit stayed in the back right behind Leblanc
"A Diggersby, and a male and Female Nidoran." Ava said. "A Diggersby? And did you say "male and female" Nidoran?" Rita asked Ava. "That's what they're called. You see, Nidoran is a Pokemon where it's gender plays a key role in life." Ava said to Rita. "Here." I said to Rita, as I held the Pokedex up.

The Poison Pin Pokemon
Poison
The horn on a male Nidoran's forehead contains a powerful poison. This is a very cautious Pokemon, always staring at its large ears.

Females are more sensitive to smells than males. While foraging, they'll use their whiskers to check the wind direction and staydown wind of enemies.
"You see, Nidoran have a branch evolution, Like Gallade for example. But unlike Gallade where it's a choice to be a Gallade if he's a boy. Nidoran are stuck with whatever branch form they have, the second they are born." Hugo said to Rita. "And here's Diggersby info. Who is a male for the record." I said to Rita, moving the Pokedex to Diggersby.
Diggersby
The Digging Pokemon
Ground / Normal
With power equal to an excavator, it can dig through dense bedrock. It's a huge help during tunnel construction.
"What are you doing here, old man?" Yuri asked Raven, as I put the Pokedex away. "Gee, glad to see you, too." Raven said to Yru, as a knight started to get up. Raven then shot an arrow at the knight. "All right, men! Hold down the fort here. And make sure you get to know your partners." Raven said to Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos. "Sir! I will get to know Diggersby." Leblanc said to Raven. "Yes, sir! I will get to know Nidoran." Adecor, and Boccos said at the same time.
Then Leblanc, Adecor, Boccos, Diggersby, and the two Nidorans left to secure a way into Heracles. "There, that should do it." Raven said to everyone. "Raven…" Karol said to Raven. "Care to explain what happened?" Hugo asked Raven. "I don't know, Drilbur was just digging and evolving, and while digging Sableye found this crystal. Then we found those three guys digging with those Pokemon. We asked if they could give us a ride. And here we are. But it's up to you guys from here." Raven said to Hugo.
"How can you say that?! There's no way we can trust you!" Rita said to Raven. "Don't try to pretend you forgot what you did, old man." Yuri said to Raven. "I see. Well then do me a favor and put me down quick." Raven said to Yuri, as he tossed Yuri a dagger. Yuri caught it, and we all then looked at the dagger while Yuri got a grip on the dagger's handle. "Hey! What are you trying to prove?!" Rita asked Raven.
"I didn't think I cared that much about livin'. But before I knew it. I was waist deep in all this. If I have ta be done in by you guys here, well, there're worse ways I could go." Raven said to Rita. "Now that you've turned on Alexei, your blastia could be shut down anytime. So you might as well die here… Is that what you mean?" Judith asked Raven. "I've been a dead man for over ten years." Raven said to Judith.
"So what is a dead guy like yourself doing here, anyway? Raven, you came here to settle accounts with us, didn't you? Well, Brave Vesperia would be pleased to take care of that for you." Yuri said to Raven, as he walked to Raven, with the dagger in hand. "Yuri you can't be serious?" I asked Yuri, as Yuri walked towards Raven. But instead of using the dagger's blade on him, he used the handle and punched Raven in the jaw. "Ow…" Raven said, as Yuri tossed the dagger away. "Your life belongs to Brave Vesperia now. From now on, whether you live or die depends on us." Yuri said to Raven. "Right?" Yuri asked everyone.
"Heh heh. That's perfect, Yuri." Karol said to Yuri, as he started to walk towards Raven. Yuri then moved away from Raven, allowing Karol to jump up and punch Raven in the face. "Aagh!" Raven said, dropping to his knees. "This is your punishment." Karol said to Raven, as he moved out of the way, letting Judith walk to Raven, holding out a hand. "Ah, thanks Judith, darlin'." Raven said to Judtih, as he took her hand and got up. Then Judith sucker punched him in the jaw, making him fall back down to his knees.
Judith then moved out of the way, letting me walk towards Raven. I then did an uppercut on Raven's jaw, forcing him up. "I'm okay with this." I said before walking away. Rita was next and punched him into the chest forcing him into the wall. "I didn't want to feel left out." Rita said to Raven, before walking away. Ava then moved to Raven and slammed her right knee into Raven's stomach. "Me too." Ava said to Raven, before walking away. Then Patty came running up and jumped into Raven, back first. "Guess I'm joining in the fun too." Patty said, before walking away. "And this is for all the headaches you caused." Hugo said to Raven, as he pulled Raven up. Hugo then headbutted Raven in the face.
Hugo then let Raven go, making him drop to the floor. "I'll take this, and make it a proper Mega Stone later." Hugo said to Raven, as he took the Mega Stone from Sableye. "Ohh, the brutality…" Raven said to everyone, still laying on the floor. "Oh quit being so dramatic." Ava said to Raven. "Raven. Do you know where Alexei's hiding?" Yuri asked Raven. "Ungh… I think he's in the control room…" Raven said to Yuri. "Let's go, then." Judith said to everyone.
"But first Doublade come out." I said letting Doublade out of his Pokeball. "Vaporeon you too." Hugo said letting Vaporeon out of her Pokeball. "And Delphox you come out as well." Ava said letting Delphox out of her Pokeball. "All right." Yuri said to everyone. "And Raven you're not allowed to just go dyin' on us!" Karol said to Raven, as we all cracked a smile towards Raven. We all then started to move, everyone but Flynn, Raven, and their Pokemon.
NO P.O.V.
While everyone started to move, Flynn helped Raven up. "I am relieved that you're alive and well." Flynn said to Raven. "Huh? Hm, oh yeah, well, I managed thanks to Drilbur evolving into Excadrill, and digging us out with Sableye, and it helped that Leblanc and his men, plus those Pokemon, were digging from above help, a little too. It's pathetic, really." Raven said to Flynn. "So it really was you all this time?" Flynn asked Raven. "Sorry for putin' you through all of that. If you want to punch me, I won't complain." Raven said to Flynn.
Flynn nodded no. "No. I was following the Commandant's orders as well." Flynn said to Raven. "I see. Then I guess we both owe a lot to His Excellency the Commandant. How 'bout we go pay him back?" Raven asked Flynn. "Yes, I'd like that." Flynn said to Raven. "Would you four like to have a "word" with Commandant?" Raven asked the Pokemon. They all nodded yes, understanding what he was saying to them. Then the six of them started to run, to catch up with the others
Oliver P.O.V.
After Raven, Flynn, and their Pokemon caught up to us, we entered Heracles, luckily for us all the damage Yveltal did, made it easier for us to have our big Pokemon, like Metagross, move through the place. We then stopped by a large pipe. Then Repede barked at the pipe. "Huh? Is this aer?" Yuri asked everyone, as we all noticed the small hole in the pipe, with green aer leaking out of it. Rita then got a closer look. "It appears so. Aer is flowing through this pipe." Rita said to everyone.
"Ain't it dangerous getting' so close to it?" Raven asked Rita. "This aer isn't very thick. It's safe." Rita said to Raven. "But why is aer flowing though the Heracles?" Karol asked Rita. "It seems that aer is what's making this giant contraption work." Rita said to Karol. "It's being supplied with aer, without the need for aer krene… wow…" Judith said. "I won't be so impressed. Something tells me that this is a bad thing." Hugo said to Judith. "Flynn, do you know anything?" I asked Flynn. Flynn nodded no.
"The construction of the Heracles was kept top-secret, so I don't know the details of how it works." Flynn said to Me. "Even yours truly hasn't heard anythin' about the construction. 'Cause I wasn't interested." Raven said to me. "Why am I not surprised?" Ava asked Raven. "Old man, you're totally useless when we really need you." Patty said to Raven. "Let's just get going before that pipe breaks, and we have to deal with the overflow of aer." Hugo said to everyone. We all nodded yes and started to move.
As we moved, we had to move rubble out of our way, trashing a few robots Alexei had, which I found a little cool, and took out a few rogue knights. After all that, we found ourselves in an open area, and below us was a heavily guarded door. "Any idea what's behind door number one?" I asked everyone. "That looks like the engine room to me." Raven said to me. "There are quite a few of the Royal Guard there." Flynn said to me. "That sure is some heavy security." Karol said to everyone. "It doesn't look like it'll be too easy to stop it." Yuri said to everyone. "It'll be impossible to force our way inside with that many guards." Rita said to everyone.
We all then looked at Rita. "W-what?" Rita asked us. "Since when are you so level-headed?" Yuri asked Rita. "Yeah it's not like you to be level-headed." I said to Rita. "I thought you were going to throw a big fireball and make it go BOOM!" Patty said to Rita. "We've come this far- don't you think we should be careful not to mess things up?" Rita said to everyone. "I think that if we can stop the Heracles. Sodia and her men will be able to get on board." Flynn said to everyone. "Somehow I think Sodia will make things worse for us." I said to Flynn.
"No, I know she'll be a big help. We just have to get her on board." Flynn said to me. "No matter how big the fish, it'll calm down once you hit it in the head." Patty said to me and Flynn. "Patty is right, kind of. Whatever we do. We have to stop Heracles first." Ava said to me and Flynn. "Yep. Let's search the control room." Yuri said to Ava. "Raven, do you know where the control room is?" Karol asked Raven.
"Sorry. That's one thing I don't know." Raven said to Karol. "What if the control room's even more heavily guarded?" Judith asked everyone. "In that case, we'll have no choice but to force our way in." Yuri said to Judith. "That'd be a war between ten people, one dog, and the number of Pokemon we have out can ranging from 19-34, and the entire Royal Guard. Sounds like a lot of trouble!" Raven said to everyone. "Let's hope it doesn't come to that…" Karol said to everyone. "When are we ever that lucky?" I asked Karol. "He has a point. Let's go." Yuri said to everyone, before we started to move.
NO P.O.V.
While everyone was making their way through Heraces, Patty stopped Flynn to talk to him. "Flynn, I wanted to ask you about something Yuri said back in Nordopolica…" Patty said to Flynn. "Huh? What are you talking about?" Flynn asked Patty. "I'm talking about how Yuri said he'd kill you if you became a bad person." Patty said to Flynn. "Well, that's…" Flynn said to Patty, losing his words. "For example. If you became someone that Yuri thought needed to be killed… Do you think he'd swing his blade without hesitation? Even if he was facing a precious friend like you?" Patty asked Flynn.
"Yuri isn't the kind of person who can so easily kill others… But if he felt he really needed to. I imagine he'd even kill me." Flynn said to Patty. "Really? Do you think he could actually do that?" Patty asked Flynn. "There was sadness in his eyes, but he was unwavering." Flynn said to Patty. "Then it's true… but that kind of determination must be heart-breaking." Patty said to Flynn. "Even if it's going to deeply hurt him… I believe he's determined to live the rest of his life with that pain. Yuri possesses just that kind of strength." Flynn said to Patty.
"You think so…?" Patty asked Flynn. "But if Yuri is going to continue committing crime after crime… Then I will have to stop him myself. I earnestly hope that day never comes, though. And I hope Oliver can stop Yuri, before I have to stop him." Flynn said to Patty. "Flynn… You're really strong too." Patty said to Flynn. "Am I? I don't know about that, but I appreciate you saying so, Patty." Flynn said to Patty, before walking away. "Determined to live the rest of his life with that pain…" Patty said before she started to walk.
Oliver P.O.V.
After Patty and Flynn caught up to us, going through some security tarps, we made it to the control room. Only to find all the knights in the room scattered and lying on the floor, dead. "What in the…?" Raven asked. "The Royal Guard have been taken out…" Karol said to everyone. "Who or what did this?" I asked, as we moved down some stars to the main controls.
That's when we noticed a man walking out of the shadows. A man I really didn't want to see or deal with again, Zagi. "You know how I hate waiting, Yuri Lowell and Doublade!" Zagi said to Yuri and Doublade. "It's you!" Flynn said to Zagi. "You were the one who wiped out all these people." Judith asked Zagi. "I don't want anybody else getting in my way." Zagi said to Judith. "We've got no time to play with you." Yuri said to Zagi. "So get lost." I said to Zagi. "But before you get lost. Where's Alexei? Where's he taken Estelle?" Yuri asked Zagi.
"Heh heh heh. He's not here! He was never even here to begin with." Zagi said to Yuri. "What?!" Rita asked Zagi. "What do you mean?!" Patty asked Zagi. "He means that, Heracles is a wild Yanma chase." Hugo said to everyone. "So. Alexei was using this fortress as a decoy…!" Flynn said to Hugo. "Bingo." Hugo said to Flynn.
"How charitable of him he's a real piece of work." Yuri said to everyone. "Heh, gotta hand it to him… He drew the Knights and all of us to Heracles… Meanwhile, he slips out the back..." Raven said to everyone. "Man, just when I thought I couldn't hate that guy any more." Rita said to everyone. "We need to go after him now!" Patty said, before she and her Pokemon started to move. But Zagi stopped them with an energy blasts from his robotic arm, which I noticed was bigger and had a small shield attachment on it.
"Hey! Hold on a minute! Aren't you forgetting someone?!" Zagi asked Patty. "We don't have time to deal with you. I'll say it again. GET LOST!" I said to Zagi. "Shut up! Let's get this party started!" Zagi said to me. "You heard Oliver! TAKE A WALK!" Yuri said to Zagi. "Hah hah hah… Good. Yuri… Hate me! Come on! Hate me! There is no finer spice in all the world! Hah hah hah!" Zagi said to Yuri. "You're insane. Once last chance, walk away or we're going to give you another beat down." Hugo said to Zagi. Zagi didn't responded, he just kept laughing
"Oliver, is he just getting in our way to make us angry?" Karol asked me. "Not us Yuri. All he wants is to fight Yuri. And if stopping us from saving Estelle, will get Yuri to fight him. He'll gladly do it." I said to Karol. "He's hopeless." Judith said to everyone. "No he's insane." Ava said to Judith. "Now… let us finish this. Yuri Lowell! Doublade!" Zagi said before he started to attack, weapons drawn.
This attack made us all scattered. "Delphox get rid of this guy with Psychic." Ava said to Delphox, as she fired a few arrows at Zagi. But Zagi was able to cut the arrows mid air. "Delphox." Delphox said, as she pulled out a stick. Then a Pink outline appeared on Zagi. Zagi was then sent flying to the nearby window. But Zagi was able to recover and leap right back into action. "Try this." Zagi said to Yuri as he fired energy blasts at Yuri. "Audino Light Screen around Yuri." I said to Audino. "Audino." Audino said, as she raised her right hand, making a glass wall in front of Yuri. This glass wall made the energy blasts disperse.
"Like that will stop me." Zagi said before punching the Light Screen with his robot hand. The Light Screen then shattered. "He broke the Light Screen with one punch, impossible." Ava said. "I've been training hard for this day. Fighting monsters like Doublade. From rock snakes to giant rad crocodiles. I defeated them all with my bare hands." Zagi said to everyone.
"You beat an Onix and a Krookodile!" Hugo asked Zagi. "Yes. All to kill Yuri and Doublade. Now keep fighting." Zagi said to Hugo, before launching at Yuri. "Skiddo Vine Whip. And Mawile use Iron head." Karol said, as he and Mawile charged at Zagi. "Skiddo." Skiddo said, as he grew two vines and whipped at Zagi. "Mawile." Mawile said, as her ponytail turned grey and rough. But Zagi then dodged Skiddo's Vine Whip and dropped his weapons. Zagi then grabbed Skiddo's vines and pulled Skiddo. He then used Skiddo like a wrecking ball, crashing him into Karol and Mawile.
"Zagi has gotten even crazier and stronger since the last time we fought him." I said as Zagi got his weapons and charged at Yuri again. "Let's see about that. Reuniclus use Signal Beam and Metagross use Take Down." Rita said to her Pokemon, as she charged up a fireball. "Reuniclus/ Metagross." Reuniclus and Metagross said, as Reuniclus fired a beam of pink energy with multiple shapes at Zagi, at the same time Rita fired her fireball, followed by Metagross charging at Zagi while his body was glowing white.
Zagi dodged the fireball, and used his weapons to redirect the Signal Beam into Metagross' eyes. This made it easy for Zagi to dodge Metagross and make Metagross crash into a wall. "Let's try this." Judith said as he charged at Zagi. "Excadrill, Sableye, help her with Metal Claw and Shadow Claw." Raven said to Excadrill and Sableye. "Excadrill." Excadrill said as he followed Judith with his claws turning silver. "Sableye" Sableye said as he followed Judith with his claws being covered in black energy with a purple outline.
Judith was the first to reach Zagi and started to fight with him. Then came Excadrill and Sableye. Zagi then turned his attention to them, and started to fight them. Judith took this chance to get behind Zagi and held her spear across his chest, pinning him. Excadrill and Sableye took this chance to strike as well, but Zagi was able to block them with his weapons, but he couldn't move, otherwise they would get a clean hit on him.
"Riolu use Quick Attack, and Corvisquire use Rock Smash." Flynn said as he charged at Zagi. "Riolu." Riolu said, as he moved at high speed crashing into Zagi's stomach. "Corvisquire." Corvisquire said, as his right leg glowed white, and smashed it into Zagi's head. Flynn then slammed his shield into Zagi's chest. All these attacks made Zagi discombobulate. "Togetic use Air Slash." I said to Togetic, as Flynn, Judith, and the pokemon moved away from Zagi. "Togetic." Togetic said as she fired two blades of air from her wings at the same time Raven fired some arrows.
But then Zagi regained his thoughts and dodged the wind blades and the arrows. "Stay out of my way." Zagi said to everyone. But he was met with me, Hugo, and Patty instead. Then the three of us tried to fight him. But even three on one, Zagi was having no trouble countering our attacks. "Vaporeon use Ice Beam." Hugo said as the three of us jumped back away from Zagi. "Vaporeon." Vaporeon said as she fired a light blue beam at the floor where Zagi was standing.
This made it hard for Zagi to keep his footing. "Flygon use Dragon Breath, and Shelgon use Flamethrower." Judith said to her Pokemon. "Cramerant you help out with Scald, and Slowbro use Water Gun." Patty said to her Pokemon. "Flygon/ Shelgon/ Cramerant/ Slowbro." All of them said, as Flygon fired a burst of teal energy from his mouth, a steam of fire shot out from Shelgon mouth, a steam boiling hot water shot out from Cramerant mouth, and a stream of water shot out Slowbro mouth.
All four of these attacks hit Zagi and sent him flying into a wall, then making him fall to the ground. "You think that will stop me." Zagi said as got up. "What's it going to take to stop this guy?" Ava asked everyone. "Nothing you or your monster can do! Now DIE!" Zagi said, as he started to wild shoot energy blasts at us. "Now what?" I asked, as we dodged the fireballs. "Banette use Embargo." Yuri said to Banette. "Banette." Banette said as he fired two shadow chains. The chains wrapped around Zagi's robot arm, turning it black and making it stop shooting fireballs.
"What's wrong with things?" Zagi said, as he started to bag his fist against his robot arm, trying to get it to work. "Bisharp use Aerial Ace." Yuri said to Bisharp as he charged at Zagi. "Bisharp." Bisharp said as he disappeared and reappeared behind Zagi. Bisharp then slashed at Zagi's back, dealing some damage and forcing Zagi forward, straight towards Yuri.
"Doublade use Sacred Sword ." I said to Doublade, knowing what Yuri was thinking. "Doublade." Doublade said, as his blades become long purple glowing curve blades. Then from the back Doublade slashed at Zagi, cutting through his clothes and leaving two thin blood lines on his back, from his right shoulder to his left waist. Meanwhile Yuri slashed Zagi from the front, cutting through his clothes leaving a thick blood line, from his left waist up to his right shoulder.
"Urgh! Heh… You're awesome… Yuuuuuuriiii! Dooooubbbblaaadeee!" Zagi said to them. "You've got dependency issues, you know that? Enough is enough!" Yuri said to Zagi. "You heard him Doublade, use Iron head and get rid of this guy." I said to Doublade. "Doublade." Doubalde said, as hsi blades turned silver. Then Yuri and Doublade deliver a triple slash attack, focing Zagi to the window. "Uhg!" Zagi said as the window broke, and was sent flying through it. "Rita!" Yuri said to Rita. "I'm on it!" Rita said, as she took the main controls. She tinkered with the controls for a few seconds. "There… Done!" Rita said, as we felt Heracles stop.
"It stopped." Judith said to everyone. "That's our genius mage." Raven said to everyone. "Now Sodia and her men should be able to get on board." Flynn said to everyone. "Now that Heracles is taken care of. Can we get back to our main priority?" Hugo asked everyone. "Right we have to find Estelle." I said to everyone. "Estelle... Where have they taken you?" Rita asked. "Rita?" Karol asked Rita. "She's nothing more than a tool to Alexei! If he keeps forcing Estelle to use her power… she could really unleash the Adephagos!" Rita said to everyone.
"Not on our watch. That's what we're here for, right?" Yuri asked Rita. "Yeah, and once we get Estelle. We'll give Alexei the world's nastiest beat down." Ava said to Yuri. "You heard her Rita, so cheer up. We're definitely going to beat him and save Estelle." Patty said to Rita. "Right." Rita said to Patty. "We don't have a moment to lose. Heracles must be using a Hermes blastia too. That's the only thing that could power something this big." Judith said to everyone. "We've gotta find Alexei, fast!" Karol said to everyone.
"But how?" Ava asked Karol. "Ba'ul can help us follow the disturbance in the aer. If Estelle is being forced to use her power, we will find her." Judith said to Ava. "All right…" Yuri said, before an energy blasts hit in the middle of the ground, making a big explosion. This dealt us all major damage and knocked us off our feet. We then looked at the window to see Zagi standing in the window, covered in saps and scratches.
"Haah hah! Yuri! Douublade! This isn't over yet!" Zagi said to them, as we heard some beeping from the controls. "The control panel." Rita said, as Heracles started to move again. "It's started moving again!" Flynn said to everyone. "Hah hah hah hah! Yuri! Doublade! Come fly with me!" Zagi said to them. "Argh… My body…." Yuri said, groaning in pain, as we all tried to stand, but we could even support our own weight because of the pain. "It's no use… We can't treat everyone at once without Estelle's healing artes." Karol said to everyone. "Then just grin and bear it." Ava said to everyone. "You're right. We can't let it end here…!" Judith said to Ava.
"Ahh, yes! That's wonderful! Let's do it!" Zagi said to us. Then Gauche and Droite came out of thin air and landed a kick into Zagi's chest. Then I noticed Yeager above us. Yeager then fired a magic shot at Zagi. This made Zagi go overboard, all the while screaming. And this time I heard some banging and clunking, meaning Zagi was crashing against the side of Heracles. So hopefully he probably won't be back for a while.
I then noticed Yeager putting his weapon away, and noticed a scythe blade on it. "Oh ho ho. What a lovely little cream he made." Yeager said, as Gauche and Droite started to cast a spell. But the spell was not an attack, but a healing spell. "What's your game Yeager?" I asked Yeager, as our strength returned. "Yeah! What's going on?!" Yuri asked Yeager. "Are you here to get in our way again?!" Patty asked Yeager. "Or are you here for a fight like Zagi?!" Ava asked Yeager.
"It would be very bad, yes very bad for business indeed, if the empire got too big for its britches." Yeager said to us. "Alexei has gone to Zaphias." Gauche said to us. "The Sword Stair of Zaphias has a secret, you know." Droite said to us. "I thought for sure that he'd need Dein Nomos to use as a key." Yeager said. "A key?" I asked Yeager. "Ja, but it looks like he's playing to use your little Princess instead." Yeager said to me.
"What?!" Rita said. "What is he planning on doing to Her Highness?!" Flynn asked Yeager. Then Heracles started to shake a little. "It doesn't look like now is a good time to discuss this." Judith said to everyone. "Man, this isn't good. At this rate we're gonna flatten the lower quarter of Zaphias." Raven said to everyone. "Rita!" Yuri said to Rita. "It's no good! This thing is totalled!" Rita said to Yuri. "Now what do we do?" I asked everyone. "We just have to cut its power!" Karol said to me. "Right, we cut the power, that should do it." Hugo said to me.
"I wish you the best of luck with that! So… toodles." Yeager said to us, as Gauche and Droite joined him. "Ah. wait!" Patty said to Yeager, but Yeager, Gauche, and Droite then fired a smoke bomb and disappeared. "Yeager, you bastard!" Yuri said. "What is he even after?" Flynn asked everyone. "Maybe he's doing this just for the enteriement." I said to Everyone. "Let's think about that later right now we've got to stop Heracles." Judith said to me. "She's right. Let's go find the engine room." Yuri said to me. Then we all started to move. All of us expect me, Karol and Raven.
"Yeager… You won't get off the hook next time!" Karol said. "No one gets Yeager but me. Not even the boss of Brave Vesperia." Raven said to Karol. "Can you two argue about this on the way to the engine room?" I asked them. They nodded yes, and we all hightailed it to the engine room.
After running for a bit, we ran into Sodia standing alone against two rouge knights, in front of the engine room. "No, you are all being fooled! Alexei has been using the Knights for his own personal gain…!" Sodia said to the knights. "What are you talking about! The commandant is an honor to the knights, and someone we should all follow." the first knight said to Sodia. "Flynn is trying to overthrow. His Excellency. He's the real traitor!" The second knight said to Sodia.
"Riolu use Quick Attack, and Corvisquire use Dual Wingbeat." Flynn said to Riolu and Corvisquire. "Riolu/ Corvisquire." the two of them said, as Riolu moved at high speed, kicking a knight in the head, knocking the knight out. Meanwhile Corvisquire slammed his two wings into the other knight's head, rigging his dome and knocking him out. Both Riolu, and Corvisquire surprised Sodia. "Are you all right? Sodia?" Flynn asked Sodia, as he ran to Sodia. "Captain! You're okay…" Sodia said, as she put her sword away.
"I'm impressed you beat all these guys on your own." Yuri said to Sodia. "He's right, very impressive." I said to Sodia, as we all walked to her. "I don't recall asking for our opinion." Sodia said to me, as she drew her sword and pointed at me. "Move and you die." Ava said to Sodia, as she amied her crossbow at Sodia's head. "Let's calm down everyone." Flynn said to everyone. "Hey she's the one that can't take a compliment." Yuri said to Flynn.
"I will never take a compliment from you for as long as I live. You didn't think I could just let you and Oliver walk away, did you?" Sodia said to Yuri, putting Ava, Doublade, Bisharp and Banette on edge. "Enough, Sodia. This is hardly the time." Flynn said to Sodia. "Captain! Why are you always defending-" Sodia said to Flynn, but Yuri interrupted her. "Jeez, how many times am I gonna have to say this? We don't have time to mess around with you." Yuri said to Sodia.
"If you really want to do this. Then we won't hold back." Judith said to Sodia. "And I'll make sure you can't ever point a sword at my boyfriend again if we fight." Ava said to Sodia. "Ava calm down. She's not worth it, and we have bigger problems than a copycat of Alexei's goons." I said to Ava.
"What did you just call me?" Sodia asked me. "You heard me a copycat of Zelexi's goons." I said to Sodia. "I am nothing like these knights." Sodia said to me. "Really cause the two knights you were talking with, sounds just like you. The only difference is they switched Flynn and Alexei's roles." I said to Sodia. "Can you argue with her later? There's something else we've gotta be doing." Rita said to me. "So try and keep out of the way." Rita said to Sodia.
"So you plan to rescue Lady Estellise?" Sodia asked Rita. "Yeah. So come on, put down your sword." Karol said to Sodia. "He's right, ya know. Nobody's come out a winner in this fight." Raven said to Sodia. 'Captain Schwann…" Sodia said, looking at Raven. "The name's Raven. You'll remember that for me. Wontcha?" Raven asked Sodia. Sodia said nothing and put her sword away. "Yuri Lowell. Oliver Forest. Once I finish cleaning up this mess, I'll be back to deliver your punishment." Sodia said to us. "And when we save the day. I will make sure you hand us our hero medals." I said to Sodia. "I don't care either way. Yuri said to me and Sodia.
Then another knight in Flynn's colors came running up to us. "Vice Captain… and Captain Flynn too?! I'm so glad you're here! We're engaged in battle. But there's too much of a difference in firebower between our fleet and the heracles. We won't last much longer. Captain. I must ask that you please take direct command!" the knight said to Flynn and Sodia, as we heard the cannon fire outside.
"It does sound like they're really going at it out there." Patty said to everyone. "I'm begging you, sir!" the knight said to Flynn. "Captain… I can't handle this all on my own…" Sodia said to Flynn. "Well, I…" Flynn said, not knowing what to say. "Your subordinates are in a real jam. Go help 'em out." Yuri said to Flynn. "But…" Flynn said. "Just go, we can handle the engine." I said to Flynn. "We'll be fine." Judith said to Flynn. "I'll join up with you later." Flynn said to everyone. "You two want to come?" Flynn asked Riolu, and Corvisquire. The two nodded yes. "Then let's go." Flynn to his Pokemon and knights, as they all left, but not before Sodia gave me and Yuri a look.
"Looks like the Knights are having a hard time too." Karol said to everyone. "Considering that their main leader turned traitor with a good portion of knights joining him, and the only leader that doesn't follow Alexei, is a young man, with very little experience leading. Is now leading a handful of knights that didn't follow Alexei, against a large army of very well trained knights. I would be surprised if they weren't having a hard time. Maybe even a really good headache." Hugo said to Karol. "If we don't bring this thing down right now, they're gonna have more than just a headache." Yuri said to Hugo. "All right. Off ta the engine room we go." Raven said as we started to move.
A few minutes later we made it to the engine room. "What's this...?!" Yuri asked, as we noticed the engine room had an upper area, and a lower area, that was full of red aer. "Looks like things are getting pretty crazy." Patty said to everyone. "Crazy? It looks like this thing is going to blow up." Hugo said to Patty. "The blastia's out of control!" Rita said to everyone. "You think?" Ava asked Rita. "Looks like Zagi smashing up that control panel did more damage than we thought." Yuri said to everyone. "I thought this thing using a Hermes blastia was the problem." Hugo said to Yuri.
"So, so what the hell are we gonna do about this thing?" Raven asked everyone. "When in doubt, break things." Hugo said to Raven, as he and Judith got ready to smash things. "Wait!" Rita said to Hugo. "I don't think waiting is going to do us any good." Judith said to Rita. "No, I think I get it! Look at that!" Rita said, as she pointed to the upper level. We then saw a very large column of red aer. "Ugh! What is that?" Karol asked. "I don't know. Rita, what are we looking at?" I said to Karol and asked Rita.
"Aer is being transferred at a tremendous rate. There can only be one place something this big could be sending that much power." Rita said to everyone. "The part of the Heracles that requires the most power…" Patty said. "A cannon?!" Yuri said. "The main giant cannon!" I said to Yuri. "If we were to destroy this blastia now… It might stop Heracles, but the cannon go off and blow Zaphias clean off the map!" Rita said to everyone. "No way! S-so what should we do?!" Karol asked everyone.
"Well, whatever we do, we have to stop this aer." Judith said to everyone. "What if we use Dein Nomos?" I said to everyone. Yuuri then pulled out Dein Nomos and looked at it. "Oh yeah! That's what Duke used to get the aer back under control." Karol asid to everyone. "Can you really do that?" Rita asked Yuri. "I don't really have a choice. Here goes nothing." Yuri said to Rita, as we started to move to the large column of aer.
Once we made it to the upper level, we noticed a hole leading outside in the wall, and noticed a very large Apatheia in it. "Is that an Apatheia?" I asked." Whoa. Careful!" Raven said to Me. "Why would that be here?" Ava asked. "It's creating interference with the blastia and causing the aer to go out of control." Rita said to Ava. "Just like what happened back in the arena in Nordopolica." Hugo said to everyone.
"Are we gonna break it…? It's like one of the entelexeia's souls, right?" Karol asked everyone. "Fraid that's what it's down to. If Heracles keeps goin', we can kiss Zaphis goodbye. Not ta mention that cannon might decide ta go off." Raven said to Karol. "Besides I'm sure this entelexeia would rather die than be used as a weapon." Hugo said to Karol. "Yeah. We have to act now!" Yuri said, as he waved Dein Nomos into the air, performing its power. Then a blinding light filled the engine room. "Thank you." a male, commanding, and gentle voice said, in my head.
When the light faded, the column of aer turned green and looked calm. "Huh…?" Rita asked. "It's stopped?" Raven said. "What about the cannon?!" Yuri asked Rita. Rita pulled out the controls. "Not good! At this rate it's going to fire!" Rita said to everyone. "No way?! We shut the power off!" Karol said. "What can we do now?" I asked everyone, before Heracles shook. "What now!" I asked, as Heracles shook again, making us lose our balance.
NO P.O.V.
What was causing the shaking was Flynn ramming his ships into Heracles. "Sir even with all of the ships, The Heracles has barely moved." A knight said to Flynn, as the last of Flynn's ships rammed into Heracles, making it move a little. "We have to keep trying. If we don't move Heracles, Zaphias is doomed. Crack the engines to full power." Flynn said to the knight. The knight nodded yes, and shouted out Flynn's orders.
But even with the engines at full power, Heracles' cannon was still locked on Zaphias. "Come on." Flynn said. "Corvisquire." Corvisquire said, as he joined in the ramming of Heracles, with his head. "Corvisquire your too little to help." Flynn said to Corvisquire. "Corvisquire." Corvisquire said putting more force into his head. "Give it up, monster. You can't help the Captain. You're not a knight." Sodia said to Corvisquire. "Corvisquire." Corvisquire said to Sodia, with a defiant tune in his voice. Then Corvisquire started to glow blue.
Corvisquire then grew to a very large size, large enough to carry a few people, his feathers came metallic, and his talons became metal blades. Once the light faded, they noticed that Corvisquire was now all shiny black, with his legs being normal black. "Corviknight." Corvisquire said. "Well he looks like a knight now. Isn't that right Corviknight." Flynn said to Sodia and Corviknight. "Corviknight!" Corviknight roared.
Then lots more Pokemon appeared from both the sky and the sea. Ranging from the small Wingull to the large Gyarados. All these Pokemon then started to push Heracles, and made Heracles move a lot more than the ships alone. But even with all of this Pokemon and ships pushing together, the cannon was still going to hit Zaphias. "COME EVERYONE KEEP PUSHING! GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU GOT!" Flynn yelled to everyone, people and Pokemon, as he and a few other people started to help the Pokemon push Heracles, as well they could while on a boat. And all the people and Pokemon let out a battle cry and gave it everything they got.
Then green lights started to gather far behind them. Flynn noticed this, and followed the lights, to see a massive amount of green energy heading right for them. Then the green energy slammed into Heracles, but unlike the people and Pokemon, it forced Heracles back like it was nothing. "What was that?" Flynn asked, as both people and Pokemon watched the green energy force Heracles far away from them all.
It was at this time, Heracles finally fired it's cannon, but it missed Zaphias, but still hit a part of the land, and made a large explosion that shot a column of energy into the sky. Once the cannon fired it shoot, the green energy stopped resolving a giant creature in the shape of a man, with black and green hexagon armor, five strands of fabric like things, with four of them attached to its arms, and one of his back, finally it had a multicolor light, line on its chest. The thing then moved to a hole int Heracles
Oliver P.O.V.
After the shaking stopped and we then started to throw up a bit. "I was really worried there for a second." Patty said to everyone. "Yeah that was crazy." I said to everyone, as we cleaned ourselves up. "That's some friend you have." Judith said to Yuri. "Hah.. there he goes again. Showing off, as usual." Yuri said to Judith. "Hey, am I the only one who heard a voice when you cut the apatheia?" Karol asked everyone. "No, I heard it too. What was that?" Ava said to Karol and asked everyone. "That might've been the voice of whatever Entelexeia it used to be." Raven said to Ava.
"It was like the consciousness within the apatheia willed the aer back to normal." Judith said to everyone, surprising Rita, and making her think. "I know the Enterleia would rather be gone, then be a weapon." Hugo said to everyone. "I think we're gone here. Now we've gotta get to Zaphias to rescue Estelle." Yuri said to everyone. "But wait a second. What caused Heracles to move like that, a minute ago? I mean that couldn't have been Flynn right?" I asked everyone, then a giant shadow covered us.
We all then turned to the hole to see Zygarde in this 100% form. "Zygarde was that you who made Heracles move like that?" I asked Zygarde. "That's Zygarde?!" Karol asked me. "Yes. This is his true and full power form. His 100% form." I said to Karol. "Yes. I pushed Heracles, but it was the will of both the people and Pokemon that moved me to do so. Now you must hurry. Alexei's is about you using your friend Estelle to upset the balance of nature." Zygarde said to everyone.
"He's right. We've lost too much time gettin' sucked into this Heracles decoy business." Raven said to everyone. "Zygarde, will you help us?" Hugo asked Zygarde. "No. I forced my power to 100% without my other half. I'm almost out of energy and must rest for a bit. But I still can do one more thing, but first I need you all to get off Heracles." Zygarde said to everyone.
"Right, Ba'ul!" Judith said, calling Ba'ul. Ba'ul arrived within seconds after being called. "Let's hurry!" Karol said, as we hopped onto Ba'ul. "Willed the aer back to normal.. The apatheia and ear… The Rizomata Formula and Estelle…" RIta said, lost in thought. "Rita, we're leaving. You can think about whatever you think about later." I said to Rita, snapping my fingers in front of Rita's face. "Right." Rita said to me, shaking her head.
We then all got onto the ship, and Ba'ul took off. As we took off, we noticed Zygarde moving to the front of Heracles, and we could hear him talk to himself. "It's time to finish what Yveltal started. CORE ENFORCER!" Zygarde said, as the multicolor light line on his chest opened up, firing a giant blue, red, purple and white energy beam. The beam cut through Heracles in the shape of a giant green Z. Then a crack sound was heard in the air, and the giant Z exploded with a large amount of green energy. We watched and felt the explosion from the ship. We all held onto the ship for dear life.
When things settled down, we looked over to see Heracles and a little bit of the sea under it, gone. "Woah! Zygarde is powerful." Karol said to everyone, as Zygarde started to break apart into multiple green lights, and scattered around the plant. "He is, but his job is to watch, not fight. That's our job." Hugo said to Karol. "He's right. To the capital." Yuri said to everyone, as Ba'ul started to head to Zaphias.
A few minutes later we could get a clear look at Zaphias. "There it is! It's the capital! Huh?" Karol said, as we noticed Zaphias' barrier was gone and replaced with a red storm cloud that covered the whole city.
"Whoa! No more barrier." Raven said to everyone. "I wonder if this is Alexei's doing, too." Yuri asked everyone. "Most likely." I said to Yuri. "That guy's just doing whatever he wants…" Patty said to everyone. "Ready to go in?" Judith asked everyone. "Take us there." Yuri said to Judith. "But before we charge in. We have to know where to charge. After all, I'm betting Alexei knows we're coming. We won't have time to make mistakes." I said to everyone.
"Estelle, where could you be?" Rita asked. "Where do we even start looking in a city this big?" Karol asked everyone. "We follow the aer flow. If Alexei is using Estelle and apatheia in his plans… It has to cause a disturbance in the aer." Judith said to Karol. "A disturbance Ba'ul can track." Hugo said to Judith. "Right. Ba'ul!" Judith said to Hugo and Ba'ul. Ba'ul let out a bellow and took us in. "He found it." Judith said, as we entered the storm.
"There!" Karol said, as we noticed Estelle and Alexei in the middle of the storm. "Estelle!" Rita cried out. And Alexei's right there with her." Raven said to everyone. "Judy, take us closer!" Yuri said to Judith. Judith nodded and made Ba'ul go faster.
NO P.O.V.
Alexei noticed them and raised Estelle up into the sky. Everyone on the ship stays in place, getting ready for a fight. Everyone but Yuri. He ran to the front of the ship and got onto the headpiece of the ship. "Estelle!" Yuri said to Estelle. Estelle didn't say anything, she just screamed in agony. "Estelle! Rita said, worried for Estelle's heath. "Damn it! Stop it, Alexei!" Yuri said to Alexei. But Alexei said nothing, he just smirked at Yuri. "You're dead Alexei" Oliver said to Alexei, getting mad.
"No! I'm losing control of myself! I'm scared!" Estelle said, as she started to panic. "You gotta fight it, Estelle! Don't give up yet!" Yuri said to Estelle, as he jumped for Estelle. Estelle noticed this and reached out a hand with a look of joy on her face. Yuri had the same look of joy on his face. But Alexei didn't care, and made Estelle blast Yuri away, right before he could reach her. This made Yuri fly back towards us. "Yuri!" Karol said, as Yuri flew past him.
Oliver leaped into action, and ran to Yuri, grabbing Yuri's free hand with his right hand, and wrapped his left arm around some rope. "Hole on Yuri." I said to Yuri, as he held onto Yuri and the rope for dear life, and Yuri held onto Oliver's right hand for dear life.
Seeing Oliver and Yuri like that made Estelle cry and blamed herself. "Estelle…" Yuri quietly said. "Please, I beg of you… before I cause anyone any more pain… please Yuri… kill me now." Estelle said to Yuri, while crying. Yuri was the only person who heard her say that. Estelle then let out a scream, and supercharged the aer. Estelle let out another scream and blasted everyone with a large amount of energy. This energy forced Ba'ul away. "ESTELLE!" Yuri yelled, as they were sent flying, with everyone else held onto the boat for dear life.
