The one thing that makes them similar is that of a facility which is involved with the unknown as well turning people into something terrifying. Whether it's a Asylum full of maniacs and dangerous inmates, for a company which people don't know of it's true intentions. Which is TCRI, the reason behind most mutations in New York City as well it's test subjects living in Gotham City. With these things happening, it will always come back to bite them in the back side."

Unknown Building-Gotham City

In the district of the high buildings of the city as well where the companies was located at, one of them was right now being used. Along of how it wasn't announced to the public yet. That didn't mean the inside of the building wasn't being used, in which inside of the empty building. Was that of experiments going on, let alone how it had people inside. Not exactly humans but of animal themed individuals that were found across the criminal filled city, so far half of them were locked up in cells as well unable to break free.

"Let me out of here! I'll rip out your bones!"

Roared that of Killer Croc who was slashing his claws against his cell bars, though they were indestructible to his attacks. Walking passed them were men in white trench coats with glass's over their eyes. One of them had a clipboard as well looking over the reptilian like male.

"This one portrays a hostile behavior. Not due to any genetic mutation, but of a bad upcoming as a young male."

One of the scientists spoke out as well writing on the board, in which earned them a roar from Croc as he tried to smash his way out again. But with no luck, the force of his prison pushed him back hitting the ground as well leaving him wounded. The men in white presume to walk forward heading to that of another inmate they were keeping here, in which was Killer Moth.

"Come on! I'm not a actual moth! Let me out you crazy ass hats!"

The masked man spoke out as well fluttering his wings trying to find a way out, though the men man a light go on. The bright light made Killer Moth look at it with awe, as well had him attracted to it. He rushed towards it in which he was soon zapped by the prison bars that were containing him.

"This one is human. But has the personality of the actual moth, request neural shocking to aid him."

Suggesting a procedure to help the rather confused man, as they presume their walk. As they continued to walk, one of the men pulled out a phone which showed the late news of past mutations that appeared in Gotham.

"We have tracked done the numerous mutations that have happened to the residents of this sadden town is not from our resources. As well it has been difficult to track down two individuals that are related to us."

He spoke out as the only ones that they had met before was shown, which was both Bebop and Rocksteady. They continued to walk down as well went threw that of some doors, where they had someone else in their care. In which it was Man Bat, who was resisting the treatment he was receiving. Screeching as well of using his wings like shields, he bashed away the doctors that were coming towards him.

"Mr. Langstrom, we do not wish to experiment on you. Our main concern is to overlook the memories of your interactions with these individuals."

The men explaining to the bat hybrid, as well showing him a newspaper that was from 'New Gotham'. Which showed a image of him standing as a defender for the criminal women Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. The bat like villain merely snarled at them thinking they might want to find them, let alone do something horrid. Man Bat, merely lets out a powerful wail which breaks several windows as well making half of the doctors in the room cover their ears.

"Your scream ability is strong, but we have a way to avoid such a destructive force."

One of them responding to Man Bat's scream, which they threw a small metal object around his mouth. The bat hybrid got surprised by the device, along of making him unable to scream. He was completely silent, he tried to remove the device. In which he was distracted by two flying devices that went right to his wrists and hoisting him up in the air.

"Let us try and be reasonable Mr. Langstrom?"

Asking the villain in which the device placed the bat onto a table, Man Bat. Was petrified on what was going on, as well how he felt like he was being experimented like if he was in Hugo Strange's lab. Noticing one of the nurses coming over with a needle, she made sure it was sharpen enough go threw his skin.

"Now please, do not struggle."

She explained to him in which she placed her hand right onto the side of his neck, as Man Bat struggled to break free. He noticed something, right where she was close to him. He couldn't smell anything off her, no perfume or anything. As well felt her hand cold, though it was soon interrupted by that of the needle hitting his vein. His eyes widen as well made him screamed, but the metal piece in his mouth made it impossible for him to let out any sound.

"Relax Mr. Langstrom. We had injected a modified strand of mutagen in your body. To help you focus."

The nurse explaining to him about what he was just injected with, they moved back which had Man Bat's body reacting rather violently. Due to his own formula he used when he was once human. They kept their distant letting the mutagen work as well have Man Bat be changed by this. Shaking his head violently let alone of banging it against the metal table, his eyes widen as well felt the liquid affecting his mind.

"It will take a few seconds before your mind is mended."

Man Bat was being informed about what was happening, in which due to the years of becoming half and half of a monster. He felt his intelligence, rational side as well of his brain being restored. Soon enough, his violent shaking soon stopped. Looking at his captors, his red pulsing red eyes soon faded away. In which soon changed by light brown, let alone of his normal human pupils.

"It wasn't that bad now was it?"

The nurse asked kindly just before moving the metal piece from his mouth, Man Bat. Felt his mind much clearer as well not a lot of angry, in which he looked at them. Let alone at his face at the mirror.

"What, have you done to me?"

He spoke which surprised himself due to how he could only communicate in screeches, it's been like this after his last injection with the Man Bat formula. He lost both his communication as well unable to think straight, though whatever these people have done. As granted him back his voice as well human intelligence.

"We were able to restore that of your voice and brain. In which was almost impossible to leave in the state it was in, since you are the first to genetically make a formula to turn into a winged mammal."

The nurse explained seeing how they had possibly studied on his work when he was a normal human scientist. This still had Kirkman suspicious of their actions, let alone of what they desired from him.

"Mr. Kirkman. We have restored that of your human mind. But need your cooperation in tracking down two assailants of ours."

One of the scientists expressing why they had taken him, along of what was going on. Let alone of him being presented that of who they were looking for, which was Bebop and Rocksteady. The same two mutants that were occupying with Harley, whatever it was it may not be good for them.

"Unlike of the residents of Gotham as well of their own unique mutation, they lack a specific key element that we require. To which we needed to find several individuals who might know there whereabouts. It is important."

Expressing the urgency in finding them as Man Bat didn't know what to say in this matter. On one hand these people had that of the technology to help him figure out a way to balance both of his bat persona while keeping his humanity. While the second, these mysterious beings may have intentions to experiment on them like they were doing with the others. He looked at the individuals as well how they gave a cold and empty like expression on their faces, in which he had to choose.

"Ok, let me have a pen and pad and I'll write down where I last saw them."

Man Bat agreeing with them, along of going to assist them. The doctors handed him that of a pen and pad to assist him in learning the whereabouts of the two mutants, though as they handed the bat like being the pen. Kirkman quickly spun the pen around and jammed it into the doctor's eye making him move back.

He spoke before using his returned intelligence to unlock the metal bonds on his wrists to break free. Taking the opportunity, he lifted his wings up as well descends up into the air. He rushed right threw the doorways as well flew right out, avoiding the guards as well that of anything in his way. Man Bat bursts right threw a sheet of glass, Man Bat screeched at how painful the light was. Though it didn't stop him from escaping, inside of the building was the other scientists watching him leave.

"Should we chase him?"

One of the scientists asking, along looking to the injured man with the stabbed eye. Who wasn't exactly in pain, let alone not caring about his bludgeon eye. To which he removed the pen showing that of blood leaking from his eye.

"No. He will lead to someone who might be able to help us then the creatures. While you were discussing to the bat creature about why we needed him, I was doing research on others who had encountered the mutagen."

The one eyed doctor spoke out, as well showing video footage of another that has been around that of mutagen. A recording showing two years ago of a incident will killer trees as well the Joker showed one being who fought them. Which was Pamela Ivy, as well had sure signs of her having mutagen in her DNA that was the reason why she crew big. If they captured her, it be possibly to get both Bebop and Rocksteady as well.

On the busy streets of Gotham

In the streets of Gotham as well passing a couple of stores away, Poison Ivy was walking pass some stores with that of June Moon. Who both were right now talking with each other about recent things since they both haven't seen each other for a while.

"Right now at the lair me and Cy are just monitoring how the League is doing. So far their still having trouble with getting their homes back together. Haven't been going after me or the others for a while. So, yay."

June telling Ivy on with how what she and Harley have been doing, the Justice League have still had their hands full with villain activity. Which was a relief seeing a couple of weeks ago when they had their 'date night' with Power girl. It be seconds before Superman dropped into their apartments and send them to the phantom zone.

"At least it's better then dealing shitty bounty hunters. What about you? I bet Enchantress has been dealing with her own problems since she went 'peaceful' with us."

Making a joke seeing how since they weren't living with her and Enchantress, they must have been dealing with their misadventures. June, looked a bit shy when Ivy brought that up since they've been dealing with some strange situations of their own.

"Kind of, seeing how none of us are thinking about Darkseid who stated he might return. Though I think the only one he'd spare is Enchantress since he considers us a, witchy call."

"Expressing that of a term if Darkseid wanted to get his freak on with the Enchantress, though threw a reflection they were passing by. The witch was chuckling at her seeing how she could see threw her human host on how she liked it as well.

"Oh don't act like such a nun, I remember a certain red head that enjoyed the bondage play we used last night~"

Ivy asking June which got her a bit surprised she learned about them, in which from how Ivy noticed the look on the girl. June may have had a bit of knowledge on what the company was since she or the others haven't looked into it.

"It's a basic cooperation that deals with scientific endeavors. As well helped out the community in New York, they don't exactly venture out to other places in the country..."

Explaining to her about the company's basic history, though before going any further. They heard a weaken screech in the air, looking into the sky they saw something flying in the air. It looked like a bat, let alone of it appearing like Batman. However, they got a closer look seeing that it was Man Bat. Crashing down into a alleyway, the rushed forward to check up on if it was who they thought it was.

"Man Bat?"

Ivy asking as she saw how he looked injured, as well cut up. The women rushed over to help him up, Man Bat looked dizzy as well tried to regain his conscious as well how he noticed both Ivy and June.

"Pamela, your friends are in danger."

He spoke in that of a tired like expression, though as he spoke to them was that of urgency. Both women looked surprised at how he spoke in english, let alone they could understand him.

"What the hell? You can talk? And, English?"

Ivy asking him shocked on how both of them didn't comprehend on how this monster was able to speak with a strong tone. Man Bat, shook his head making them forget his new found speech as he needed to tell them about what happened.

"Please, you have to get your friends out of Gotham. Their coming for you as well any animal criminals."

Man Bat pleading to them to get out along of how criminals were being kidnapped, this was sounding like out of a horror movie. However before they could ask him on what he was talking about, they heard the vehicles coming over. The three unexpecting individuals saw that of a large armored van, as well several trucks blocking the way out. Coming out of the cars, they saw a man with a black hair as well having a black suit on. He had some shades over his eyes as well was looking at them.

"Pamela Ivy, June Moon. We request that you come with us."

He spoke to them in a nonsense like tone, in which they were after them. Ivy, could guess they were the men that were chasing after her friends. Looking around the cracks on the side, is that of some weeds on the side.

"Sure agent Smith. I'll just follow the guy that is capturing criminals to do some Dr. Moreau shit on me and June."

Ivy speaking in a sarcastic like tone, along of gripping both of her hands which shoot the weeds at the mysterious suited man. Though with incredible fast like reflexes, he was able to dodged them. Pulling out a switchblade, he slices them in half as well was able to get it done in ten seconds.

"Please, let's try and talk this.."

Before June could suggest anything, the man rushed at them. In which Ivy used some of the weeds to hurl a garbage can at him. He flipped over it as well adjusted himself, Ivy seeing how it was better for one of them to be taken. She dragged June over to Man Bat knowing what could happen if she was taken away.

"Get her out and find Harley, don't fuck it up."

Poison Ivy stating to Man Bat in which the creature nodded, let alone of picking June up as well making a quick escape. Ivy, turned to the mysterious man. Along of seeing how he rushed over as well pinching the left side of her neck. It somehow caused her to pass right out as well collapse, however the man caught her. Lifting her up, he looks at Man Bat leaving them as well possibly heading to Harley.

"Leave them, they'll come to us."

The man explaining to the rest of the guards as he carried the unconscious woman into the truck. As well how the mysterious group headed out, as well making sure to prepare for a possible attack due to how they have Harley's wife.

Harley's Apartment-Afternoon

Having flown for the past hours as well June informing the location of where they lived, Man Bat took her back to Ivy's apartment where they explained the situation to Harley as well Bebop and Rocksteady. In which the three were both angered and shocked that Ivy was kidnapped along several of criminals they knew. Harley was right now letting out her anger by smashing the coffee table since it was the best way to free her pent up aggression.

"Those mother fuckers! Oh I swear when I find them I'm going rip off their heads and make them into baseballs for me to whack all across the slums!"

Harley shouted in anger as well of having no time to think straight, while for Bebop and Rocksteady. They didn't understand it, Man Bat as well several other animals who were both mutated as well themed were being held hostage.

"They wanted to try and find Harley since she was connected to the both of you. I don't know what the purpose of it is. But they gave me something that restored me so I could cooperate with them. It was called, Mutagen."

Man Bat explaining to them in which got the attention of both the mutants from the word he just said. Along how that they were involved with that type of chemical which were the reason why they are mutants. Along of Harley, who heard it as well possibly being related to a company she's heard numerous times.

"The alien company? That place?"

She asked Man Bat in which he somewhat nodded if she was talking about that, chuckling in a uneasy like motion. Harley walked over to that of a closet, opening it showed several clothes. Pulling a lever, it showed another room which had a whole arsenal of blunt weapons as well of some of her boys weapons. Bebop and Rocksteady saw how her boss was getting ready, to which they get some tools ready.

"They must have set up shop somewhere in the busy part of Gotham. Best thing boss we got at night, threw the windows and start breaking some bones."

Rocksteady thinking strategy on how they should possibly head into the building, in which Harley agreed seeing how that they were going head right inside. As well kill everyone in their to see where they are holding Ivy.

"On that we agree man, we can use the cruiser to run right threw the windows."

Bebop thinking on what transportation they should use, Harley was agreeing to her boys on how they were going to handle this. June came in seeing the three preparing themselves like if they were going to do a full frontal assault.

"Wait. I agree we should check them out. But we shouldn't be the only ones to do this. We have a gang right?"

Reasoning with Harley since Ivy wasn't loved by others, to which made Harley realized that the reason she formed a gang was to help one another. Along noticed that of June, quickly changing to that of the Enchantress who wanted to help out as well. The mutants looked at how the witch was prepared for the assault on TCRI.

"So, will you save Ivy alone? Or with a gang that you consider a family."

Questioning Harley on if she wanted to do this alone, or have just her and the mutants handle this by themselves. Taking a moment to think, Harley knew what she was going do. Pulling out her phone as well checking out numbers of people she knew, she pressed a number to which she was making a call.

"Yeah? Call the Outlaws. We're going do some law breaking."

Harley stated in a serious tone as well earning both Bebop and Rocksteady and smile, seeing how they were going head to the place where they received their mutation like forms. Along returning with a gang that will be bringing it all down.

Later at the building-Night Time

On the outside of the unnamed building as well next door on the rooftop, was Harley Quinn in that of her signature jacket. As well holding a spiked baseball bat, behind her was the team she had called outlaws. On her right side was Bebop and Rocksteady with their own signature weaponry, as well with King Shark and Killer Frost. On her left side, was that of Enchantress with that of Bane and Clayface plus Man Bat in clothing. The nine villains looked at the building not knowing what was happening inside.

"From what you've told me, half of the animal like criminals were all take by a man in black. Pretty hardcore as well able to handle himself well."

King Shark explaining at how this has been going across the underworld in which he showed Harley some photos of the stranger taking them here. Clayface, looked at the sight as well changed his hand to form the shape of the building since he did some snooping.

"While I disguised myself as a local salesman Steve Barings. I could tell they had top notch security, as well had electrical batons. Very snazzy like security."

The shapeshifter stating to Harley how they didn't have rifles or any type of guns, which sounded weird or a corporation to not have any type of weaponry. Man Bat, merely gripped his winged hand getting upset at how he didn't want to return. Though he owed Ivy for helping him and June escape from them in the first place.

"There were many hallways when I flew out, each room had no nameplate or anything to tell me where I was. Only thing I could say is they have technology to stop me. As well might have the same for the rest of us."

The bat male warning them about how they were able to stop him, in which if they could do that to Man Bat. Who knows what they might have on them, Harley. Griping the handle of the bat, got serious as well pointing it at the vacant appearing building.

"They might have the tech, but not us wrecking their shit. Now lets cause some trouble."

Harley speaking out to her crew as well ready to break in to get Ivy, as well break out any of the animal themed villains they might have inside of the building. While that was happening, Bebop and Rocksteady felt nervous of how the one place they kept away from. Came here, and was ruining their boss's life. Meaning the only way to be rid of them, was to take it out with Harley as well the rest of the villains. And bring the whole damn building down on them.
