Hello everyone, I hope you like this chapter. I've been waiting and thinking about this one for a while, I didn't do a lot on the battles in this chapter, you'll figure out why later. Now onto chapter 31.

Chapter 31

A Day Of Family X Friends

Oliver P.O.V.

After we exited the Quoi Woods, we found Flynn, this Corvisquire which is now Corviknight and wearing a saddle, Riolu, Sodia, and a small army of Imperial Knights. "Well, if it isn't the Imperial Knights… I guess they're getting ready to invade the capital." Yuri said to everyone. And it looks like Corvisquire is now Corviknight." Ava said to everyone. "Corviknight?" Karol asked Ava. "Here." I said pulling out my Pokedex.

Flying / Steel

This Pokemon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar Region. The black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the heart of any foe.

"But what are they doing here? Shouldn't they be trying to get the capital back?" Ava asked everyone, as I put the Pokedex back. "It looks like they're at a stand still. I wonder if something's wrong…" Judith said to everyone. "Oh yeah, Yuri, Oliver, wouldn't it be great if Flynn came with us?" Karol asked us. "Did you forget that he's leading the Knights? I really doubt there's any way he could come with us." Rita said to Karol.

Then Flynn and Sodia noticed us. "Yuri! Oliver! Everyone!" Flynn said as he walked to us, with Sodia discussing seeing us. "Thank goodness you're all right! Her Highness must still be in Zaphias, then…" Flynn said to us, as we walked to him. "He still has her, yes." I said to Flynn. "For now, at least. What are you doing out here?" Yuri asked FLynn.

"The Royal Guard has taken up their positions ahead. We're just waiting on the scouts I sent to observe the enemy forces." Flynn said to us, as Sodia walked to us. "Captain, you don't have the time to be speaking with-." Sodia said to Flynn, but Yuri interrupted Sodia. "No need to worry. We don't plan on staying long." Yuri said to Sodia. "Yeah, we have work to do." I said to Sodia.

"You two are going to the capital too?" Flynn asked us. "Not just us, everyone." I said to Flynn. "There's something I'd like to discuss alone with you two. Do you two mind?" Flynn asked us. "Captain!" Sodia said to Flynn. "It's fine. I'll be back soon. If there are any movements. Be sure to notify me." Flynn said to Sodia. "Let's go." Flynn said, as he led us away from everyone.

After a few steps Flynn turned to us. "Prince Ioder informed me of what's been going on. About Lady Estellise's powers too. If it really comes down to it, you might have to…" Flynn said to us, but I interrupted him. "Finish that sentence, and I'll punch you." I said to Flynn. "Easy Oliver. The whole reason we're going to the capital is to prevent that from happening." Yuri said to me.

"I understand that too Oliver. I'm only talking about the worst case scenario." Flynn said to me. "Don't mean it's something that has to be done." I said to Flynn. "But he's right." Yuri said to me. "Yuri!" I said to Yuri. "I've already made my choice. Or have you both forgotten?" Yuri asked us. "No, I remember…" Flynn said to Yuri. "So do I, don't mean I like the idea of killing Estelle." I said to Yuri. "I'm prepared for the worst. But I'm going in the hope that It can be avoided. What are you going to do Flynn?" Yuri said to us and asked Flynn.

"I've been thinking about this for a long time now. What is a law? What is a crime? Where is the line between right and wrong? After much consideration I came to the undeniable conclusion that such a clear distinction cannot be made. Even now, my belief that we all need laws hasn't changed but, even so, I cannot bring myself to call you evil Yuri. That's why I hoped that we could make a world where we wouldn't have to keep repeating the same mistakes. Yet look at what's happening now." Fynn said to us.

"Then why not come with us? The capital's full of aer, so your Knights wouldn't be able to enter. But if you come with us, even if we can't get everyone through, we might be able to manage some of them." Yuri said to Flynn. "Dein Nomos, huh?" Flynn asked Yuri.

"Honestly. I don't know what's going to happen from here on out. So you're going to have to decide for yourself what to do." Yuri said to Flynn. "He's right. It's time you make your own choice, not be a puppet for someone else." I said to Flynn. "I…" Flynn said to us, but a knight came up and interrupted us. "Excuse me, sir! A large group of battle machines has emerged from the enemy lines! The numbers are staggering!" the knight said, surprising all of us.

We all then ran back to the others to find an army of robots marching towards us, slowly, and blocking the only way forward. "Oh, Yuri! Oliver! We're in big trouble!" Karol said to us, when they noticed us running up to them. "We can see that." I said to Karol. "How could they have been hiding so many of their forces?" Flynn asked everyone. "Most likely we're looking at what was protecting the city. After all, if people can't stand aer it makes sense they have machines to defend it. And they're here to stop us." Hugo said to everyone.

"It looks like we're going to have some difficulty breaking through that." Judith said to everyone. "Some? Oh, no, that's gonna be brutal. By the time we get to the capital. We'll already be half-dead." Raven said to everyone. "It's not like we have to face those things head on." Yuri said to Raven. "Patty, do you see any way around them?" Yuri asked Patty. "Mmm." Patty said, looking through her binoculars. "There's nothing but enemies anywhere I look. I have a feeling it might be impossible." Patty said to everyone. "But we're so close to the capital…" Rita said to everyone.

Then the robots got closer, making the knights panic a little. "They're almost here! Hey, shouldn't we withdraw back to the hold?" Some of the knights said. We all noticed this. "Captain." Sodia said to Flynn. Flynn then walked to me and Yuri. "Yuri. Oliver. Are you two going to the capital to stop Alexei… And to save Her Highness?" Flynn asked us. "Yeah." Yuri said to Flynn. "Did you even have to ask?" I asked Flynn.

"Then… no matter how this ends. I believe that what you've decided is the best possible outcome." Flynn said to us. "Flynn." Yuri said to Flynn. "What are you planning?" I asked Flynn. "You all should go." Flynn said to us, before walking away.

"KNIGHTS!" Flynn yelled, as everyone noticed him, mounting onto Corviknight. "An enemy battalion stands before us, and Alexei lies in wait behind them! I won't tell you this will be easy, and I understand if you want to flee. But I want you to remember. What it is that we must do! What it is that we're protecting! We're knights. With our swords. We protect the people. I will not force any of you to fight. But if you share the same spirit as I do, then let us fight this battle together!" Flynn said to the knights raising his sword into the air.

The Knights let out a cheer and raised their weapons into the air. "Flynn really is amazing…" Karol said to everyone. And I couldn't help but notice a small smile on Yuri's face. "Imperial Knights, straight ahead!" Flynn said to the knights, as Corviknight took off, leading the Knights into the battle, with Flynn riding him and Riolu following.

"Let's head for the capital." Yuri said to everyone. "You make it sound like we can, without getting caught up in the fighting." I said to Yuri, as I looked at the massive battle that started in front of us. Then we felt the ground under us start to shake. "Now what?" I asked. Then Pokemon started to appear and joined the battle. I noticed that they were all steel types, and I could see Aggrons, Lairons, Excadrills, and Ferrothorns in the fighting, to name a few.

"Pokemon? What are they doing here?" Karol asked everyone. "They must be here to help. If the aer in the capital is messing with nature, then they're here to stop it." Ava said to Karol. "That might help the knights, but what about us? How are we going to get through that?" I asked everyone, as I pointed to the battle, which was getting more intense.

Then the ground started to shake behind us again. We looked behind us to see Copperajahs charging at us. "A herd of Copperajahs!" I said to everyone. "But where are their young? Copperajah always has a few young ones with them." Hugo said to everyone. "How do you know that?" Rita asked Hugo. "Here." I said to Rita, pulling my Pokedex back out.

Steel

These Pokemon live in herds. Their have incredible grip strength, strong enough to crush giant rocks into powder

"Did they come to join the battle?" Karol asked everyone. But before anyone could answer, the Copperajahs stopped in front of us and picked us up, placing us on the backs of another Copperajah. "No, I think they're here to give us a ride." Ava said to everyone. Then the Copperajahs started to charge, smashing threw bots like they're made out of tin. We were having smiles on our faces and enjoying the ride.

NO P.O.V.

Meanwhile Xerneas was standing on a large rock, looking at the battle from a safe distance, with Arons, Drilburs, Ferrosseds, and Cufants around her, some playing with each other, some resting, and some watching the battle. "This is going well. But I must wait. I can't leave these little ones alone. Once the battle is over I can leave." Xerneas said to herself.

Oliver P.O.V.

After riding the Copperajah for a bit, we made it to the capital's main entrance. "Thanks for the ride." I said to Copperajah, as we all jumped off Copperajah. "Copperajah." One of the Copperajah said to me, before the herd left us. "I guess this is as far as they go." Karol said to everyone. "They got us here, without us having to fight or waste our energy. They did their job. Now it's time for us to do ours." Hugo said to everyone, before we all charged into the capital.

Once we entered the capital, we noticed that the air had a hint of red in it, and massive plants grew wildly all over the place. "It's hard to believe we're really in the capital." Yuri said to everyone. "Yeah, this place looks like an abandoned city, that nature is starting to take back." I said to everyone. "This is so horrible…" Patty said to everyone. "The plants are all overgrown… It's gotta be the aer." Karol said to everyone.

"It's so dense… Too much of this stuff would kill anybody." Rita said to everyone. "We'd definitely be in trouble without that sword." Judith said to everyone, as we looked at Dein Nomos. "Yeah, stick close to me. Especially you, old man." Yuri said to us, while looking at Raven. "Hey. I've been on pins and needles since we got here. Hold my hand, would ya?" Raven asked Yuri. "Gimme a break." Yuri said to Raven.

"Ah Yuri we got a small problem." I said to Yuri, as we noticed monsters walking around. "Look, monsters got in here!" Karol said to everyone. "How?! The barrier is back up and running fine…" Rita said to everyone. "They look like they're goin' crazy, like we saw back at Kaive Moc." Raven said to everyone. "Yuri, what is it?" Karol asked, as we all noticed Yuri staring off down a street that was completely consumed by plants.

"Huh? Oh, it's nothing. Let's go. We can't keep Estelle waiting." Yuri said to Karol, before he, Bisharp, and Banette started to walk. This surprised a few of us and Raven knew what was up with Yuri. "The lower quarter's at the bottom of that slope. It's his home." Raven said to us, as we all turned to the street. "It's... it looks like it's been overrun by the plants…" Karol said to everyone. "Let's move. Hopely things aren't as bad as they look." Hugo said to everyone.

"Right. Manectric come on out." I said letting Manectric out of his Pokeball. "Gallade you too." Hugo said letting Gallade out of his Pokeball. "We could use your help as well, Houndoom." Ava said, letting Houndoom out of her Pokeball. We then started to catch up to Yuri, and we all had no trouble avoiding the mad monsters.

After a bit we made it to the castle gates, which were broken and locked. "Damn. it's shut up tight." Yuri said to everyone, as he banged on the gate a little. "Look up there. I might be able to squeeze through." Karol said to everyone, as we noticed a hole in the gate. "Nice. You can go through there and open it from the other side." Yuri said to Karol. "We're counting on you." Patty said to Karol. "Gallade, care to help him?" Hugo asked Gallade. "Gallade." Gallade said, as he picked Karol up and helped Karol throw the hole in the gate.

"Hey, we're out of time. Why don't we just blow it open?" Rita asked everyone. "Or have our Pokemon tear it off?" Ava asked everyone. "Cause that's not very subtle." I said to Ava and Rita. "He's right. "Just 'cause there's nobody out here doesn't mean nobody's in there. It'd be a pain if we were discovered." Raven said to Rita and Ava.

"The aer is all over the city, isn't it? It's gotta be in the castle, too." Rita asked everyone. "Alexei must have taken some sort of precautions against that." Judith said to Rita. "Most likely, the question is what though?" Hugo asked everyone, as Karol finally unlocked the gate. "Oh, Karol did it!" Patty said to everyone. "Nice work Karol." I said to Karol. "Thanks! Now let's hurry!" Karol said to us. "Okay, this is it folks." Yuri said to everyone, as we walked to the castle door.

We drew out our weapons and got ready for a fight, but once we got in, we found no one and the air was clean of the outside aer. "Huh? There's no aer in here." Karol said to everyone. "He must have figured out how to use Estelle's power to do this." Rita said to everyone. "It may have been that the outer barrier was to keep the aer in." Judith said to Rita. "The hunch you had is looking more likely by the minute, Oliver and old man. We're gonna have company before long." Yuri said to us.

"Why is it I'm only ever right about the bad stuff happenin'?" Raven asked himself. "Luck of the draw?" I said to Raven. "If you only think negatively, only bad stuff's going to happen. So just think positively!" Patty said to everyone. "Well said, I'm sure you're right about that." Judith said to Patty. "Hm. I've always thought of myself as an optimist, to be honest." Raven said to Judith. "It's not like saying that now's gonna change anything. We gotta brace ourselves and push forward." Rita said to everyone.

"Yeah, those bogus knights who've sided with bad guys don't stand a chance." Yuri said to everyone. "Aye!" Patty said to everyone. "But let's stay quiet, we don't want to alert the whole place to where we are." I said to everyone. "It's too bad, in a way… I finally get to see the castle, but not for the reason I was hoping." Karol said to everyone, while looking away from everyone. Then me and Yuri walked to Karol. We each placed a hand on Karol Shoulder and gave him a smile. Karol then smiled back. "Let's go." I said to everyone, as we started to move.

NO P.O.V.

Back with Flynn, he and the knights were giving it their all, and holding their ground. During the fight Flynn got off Corviknight, making it easier for Corviknight to dodge attacks. During the attack two robots were about to strike FLynn in the back, while Flynn had his hands full fighting another robot.

Lucky Riolu was able to reach Flynn in time and use his paws to catch the attacks before they could reach Flynn. But the robots weren't bugging and trying to crush Riolu. "Riolu!" Riolu said, as he started to glow light blue. This body then started to grow, almost being as tall as Flynn, he gian another tear shaped thing attached to his now point long ears, the bumps on his hands became metal spikes, and he gained a metal spike on his chest. "Lucario!" Riolu, now Lucario said, as the light fad, showing off his new tan colored chest. Then Lucario forced the robots into the air and broke them when they hit the ground.

"Riolu you evolved, nice." Flynn said to Lucario, as he finished the robot he was fighting. "Lucario." Lucario said to Flynn. Then Lucario noticed a few robots charging at them. "Lucario." Lucario said, as he placed his hands together, then as he pulled them apart a dark blue sphere appeared in the middle of his hands. Lucario then threw the sphere at the robots, making a hole appear in the robots, as it went right through the robots.

Oliver P.O.V.

We moved as fast as we could while trying to make as little noise as possible. "Hold on. Someone's there." Judith said to us, as we started to walk past a door. We then got against the sides of the door ready to ambush whoever came out. And who came out charging at high speed, were Leblanc, Adecor, Boccos, Diggersby, and the Nidorans, who all crashed into the walls, and dropped to the floor. "What the…?" Yuri asked everyone.

"Yuri?! It's Yuri!" A voice said. Then the old man I met with on my first day here, walked out of the room. "Huh?! Hanks?!" Yuri said to the old man. "Okay what's going on?!" I asked everyone. "Let's talk inside." Hanks said to me, as he led us all into the room, which was a mess hall, and full of people. "Hanks, everyone! You're all okay!" Yuri said to everyone. "Hey, that's my line!" Hanks said to Yuri.

"Why are you inside the castle?!" Yuri asked Hanks. "Yeah, you all too." Raven asked Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos. "Yes, well. Sir Flynn ordered me to lead the evacuation of the citizens. However… I realized that the inhabitants of the lower quarter were nowhere to be found. It wasn't part of my orders, but you see…" Leblanc said to us. "The exit collapsed. And a strange fog covered the ground. We were in quite a fix. Thanks to these knights we escaped the fog and came here. They saved our lives." Hanks said to everyone.

"I- I am prepared to receive punishment for violating my orders!" Leblanc said to Raven. "I say." Adecor said to Raven. "We will take the same punishment!" Adecor and Boccos said to Raven, at the same time. "Punishment? I'm just an old man, boys. Anyway, isn;t it the duty of the Knights to protect the citizens? You did well." Raven said to Leblanc, Adecor, and Boccos.

"Th-this is an honor! Captain Schwa- Captain Raven!" Leblanc said to Raven, getting emotional. "Don't call me Captain! I'm just Raven!" Raven said to Leblanc. "Sir! I apologize. Sir just Raven!" Leblanc said to Raven, still getting emotional. This just made Raven place a hand in his face. "Looks like somebody respects you." Judith said to Raven. "For the first and last time in your life." Ava said to Raven. "And I never would have believed it." Rita said to Raven. "Guess you can't judge a book by its cover." Patty said to Raven.

"Moving on." I said to everyone. "Yeah, isn't this great Yuri?" Karol asked Yuri. "Huh, I forgot how tough everyone was. What was I worried about?" Yuri asked everyone, with a big grin on his face. "I don't know why, Yuri, but you look happier than I've ever seen you before." Patty said to Yuri. "Yeah, she's right." Karol said to Yuri. "When I said "moving on" I ment we needed to talk or find Alexei." I said to everyone.

"Oliver has a point. Did you see the former Commandant?" Raven asked Leblanc. "Sir, no sir. But we overheard the Royal guard outside… something about the Sword Stair?" Leblanc said to Raven. "The Sword Stair?" Rita asked Leblanc. "What's that?" Ava asked Leblanc. "That really tall thing we got blasted off of." Raven said, answering for Leblanc. "So that means he's still up there." Judith said to everyone. "Sounds like smoke and scoundrels both like high places." Patty said to everyone.

"The problem is, only important people can get to the Sword Stair. There's some special mechanism." Raven said to everyone. "I can take care of locks. Rita can take care of formulas. We can do it!" Karol said to everyone. "You said it." Yuri said to Karol. "Since when do you give the pep talk? That's my job." I said to Karol, rubbing his head. "Hanks, all of you should stay here and hide." Yuri said to Hanks. "Let's go!" Yuri said to everyone, as we all started to leave.

NO P.O.V.

At the battle, the knights won, but they were all tired and hurt. Xerneas noticed this, and noticed the Copperajah herd walking to her. "Thank you all for helping them. Now I must go. Can you look after all the little ones until their parents can pick them up?" Xerneas asked the Copperajah. "Copperajah." The Coperajahs said, nodding yes. "Thank you." Xerneas said to the Copperajah, before she started to leave by leaping, and each one of her leaps was a mile long, and each time she landed a light blue pulse followed.

With Flynn, he was one of the few knights standing, with Corviknight and Lucario tired and trying their best to stand. "Everyone gather what strength, Her Highness needs us." Flynn said to the Knights. The Knights just groaned in pain. Then Xerneas laned in the middle of the knights, and sent out another light blue pulse, before leaping again. The pulse hit everyone, and they all felt a surge of energy. Their injuries weren't completely gone, but everyone had the strength to get up.

"What was that?" Flynn asked, as he saw Xerneas heading to the capital. "Lucario." Lucario said, getting Flynn's attention, and seeing Lucario dig up a brown crystal with a blue and red core. "Lucario." Lucario said to Flynn, showing the crystal to Flynn. "Is that a Mega Stone?" Flynn asked Lucario. "Lucario." Lucario said to Flynn nodding yes. "In any case we gotta move." Flynn said to Lucatio. "Everyone let's move." Flynn said to everyone, as they pulled themselves together and started to march to the capital.

Oliver P.O.V.

After figuring out the way up the Sword Stairs, we entered the throne room where the entrance was. "So you have come at last." A female said to us. We then turned around to see the woman that was with Alexei when we first met him. "A Krityan?! No, wait, you were…" Judith said to the woman, as the woman walked to us. "Meet Khroma, special advisor to the Imperial Knights… Alexei's personal assistant." Raven said to everyone.

"Alexei's… but that would mean?!" Patty said. "Then she's an enemy?!" Rita asked, as we all grabbed our weapons but didn't pull them out yet. "No. I am not… For the time being, in any case." Khroma said to us. "That's not a very comforting way to put it. Sorry, but we've got somewhere to go. If you're here to fight, fine. If not, maybe it could wait until later." Yuri said to Khroma. "Who is it you would fight for?" Khroma asked us.

"What do you mean?" Karol asked Khroma. "That poor, pathetic young girl?" Khroma asked us. "She doesn't need you pity?" Rita said to Khroma, getting mad. "And if you ever insult her like that again. I got an arrow with your name on it." Ava said to Khorma, as she loaded her crossbow and pointed it at Khorma. "Easy Ava." I said to Ava.

"Khroma, your bein' really vague. Come on, spit it out already!" Raven asked Khoma. Khroma then turned away from us. "I cannot know what that one saw in all of you… But I wish for you stop to stop him." Khroma said to us, before leaving. We then put our weapons away in confusion.

"Okay, that made no sense. Did anybody get what she was trying to say?" Rita asked us. "Not really." I said to Rita. "Maybe she wants us to stop Alexei?" Karol asked everyone. "Hmm, maybe. It would add up, I guess." Yuri said to everyone. "Yes. Estelle should be just up ahead." Judith said to everyone.

"Aye. But "stopping" is so half-hearted. We're going to destroy him." Patty said to everyone. "Maybe it was more like "go nail that guy's butt to the wall"." Raven said to everyone. "No matter what we do to him, he's going down." I said to everyone. "I could handle that. Come on!" Yuri said to everyone, as we started to move.

Once we got through the enticne, we found ourselves back outside, with one path that led up. We walked up the path to find Alexei and Estelle at the top. Then Alexei noticed us. "Astounding. I thought that crash would have been the last of you." Alexei said to us. "If we hadn't been lucky, you just might've gotten your wish. You can let her go now and save yourself some pain, or we can break you first. It's your call." Yuri said to Alexei. "Sorry to be bore, but let's say I refused both of those?" Alexei asked us.

"There's no way you can refuse. It's not a question of either/ or. It's a question on how much of a bet down I get before they save Estelle." I said to Alexei. "But if you're having a hard time thinking about it. I'd be happy to decide for you." Yuri said to Alexei, as he pulled out his weapon. "And so will us." Ava said, as we all pulled out our weapons.

"The Princess was splendid. Her power equals the ancient Children of the Full Moon. Every person has a role, and the Princess has played her part exceedingly well." Alexei said to us. "No one has a role in life. Our lives are what we choose to be." I said to Alexei. "But if you're done with her, then we'll take her back right now." Yuri said to Alexei. Alexei then made a small smile. "As you wish." Alexei said, as he made Estelle turn to us, letting us see her soulless eyes.

"Estelle!" Judith said to Estelle. "Estelle?" Ava asked, getting nervous. Then Estelle pulled out a new one handed double edged sword, and a rectangle shield with a blade edge on it. Then Estelle charged at us, but Yuri and I used our weapons to block her attack. "Hey!" Yuri said to Estelle. "Estelle, what's wrong with you?!" I asked Estelle. "Estelle! Snap out of it!" Karol said to Estelle. "Wait, it looks like she's being controlled." Judith said to everyone. "Ugh… That's not fair… That's not fair, Alexei!" Patty said to Alexei. "Alexei you Seviper, what have you done to her!? Answer us NOW!" Hugo asked Alexei.

"What would you do with the Princess now? Her Power has subsumed her will entirely. Her Power has been controlled by a system I have put into place. Blastia that go out of control must be destroyed. You should know that." Alexei said to us. "Don't talk about Estelle like she's just some… thing!" Rita said to Alexei. "Oh, but the Princess was a tool most crucial to my plans. As were you, Schwann, and since you survived. I will use you again. Return like the puppet you are." Alexei said to Raven.

"Sorry, but you buried that poor schmuck alive yourself. I'm Raven. Pleased ta meet ya." Raven said to Alexei. "Alexei, you're twisted. You have no right to choose how people should live." I said to Alexei, still locking weapons with Estelle.. "Even though so many live such meaningless, mundane lives? I think not." Alexei said to me.

"If they choose that life, then so what? That's what deciding for yourself means!" Karol said to Alexei. "And you also have no right to decide whether they're meaningless or not!" Patty said to Alexei. "Patty and Karol are right. It's the choices we make for ourselves that gives our lives meaning, and while some of us may never have a life full of adventure and action, it can still be a happy one, when it's the life we want to live." Hugo said to Alexei.

"How unfortunate. We will never see eye to eye." Alexei said to us. "Of course not, cause your eyes are clouded by our twisted ideals." Ava said to Alexei. Alexei then pulled out a double sword, with two bumps on each side, my Keystone at the base of the handle, and a small clear crystal with a light purple and red core in the base of the blade. "No way! That's a Latias Mega Stone! A Latiasite!" Hugo said, before six streams of energy came out of the sword. The six streams of energy became three dark streams and went into Estelle.

"Noo! Estelle, don't do this! Damn it!" Yuri said to Estelle. "Yuri, force her back." I said to Yuri. Yuri and I then pushed Estelle back. Then Estelle started to charge at us again, with the dark energy acting like strings and Estelle the puppet. Since we didn't want to hurt Estelle, we scattered dodging her attacks. "We have to break those energy streams." Rita said to everyone. "How?!" Karol asked Rita.

"By using our Keystones and Mega stones. Alexei is using domination, not friendship. We can break them." Hugo said to everyone. "Again how?!" Karol asked Hugo. "Karol, you, Judtih, Raven, Rita, and Repede block her and keep her from moving too much." Hugo said to them.

"On it." Judith said, as she used her spear to block Estelle's shield, and Karol used his sword to block Estelle's sword. With Estelle's weapons locked with Judith and Karol's weapons, Raven and Rita moved in and grabbed her arm from her back, holding her in place, and Repede wrapping himself around her legs.

"Okay, Yuri, Oliver, Ava, Patty, with me on the right. Gallade, Manectric, Houndoom, Banette and Slowbro move to the left." Hugo said to us. We all nodded yes and moved. "Now touch your Keystones." Hugo said to me, Yuri, Ava, and Patty. "Yuri, can I borrow yours for a bit?" I asked Yuri. "Sure." Yuri said, passing his keystone to me. Then we touched out Keystones, with Yuri using the one on Dein Nomos, at the same time the Mega stones on our Pokemon activated.

The three energies form both us and Pokemon coveted and formed around Estelle. But the mix of the energies from Alexei and us, caused a burst of energy that knocked us all to the ground. I don't know how the others flet, but I could feel my body numb, but slowly I could feel the numbness wearing off. Then I noticed Yuri and Alexei getting up first.

"Not bad, but perhaps that was not enough power." Alexei said, before raising his sword. This made the sphere appear around Estelle again, and raised her into the air, making her scream in pain. "Este… aargh!" Yuri said, before a pulse of energy came from Estelle. "Thanks to you Oliver. This new key to replace Dein Nomos is now complete. As a show of my appreciation. I will allow you to witness the fruition of my plan. The awakening of the true Child of the Full Moon." Alexei said to me.

Then the aer started to gather above us. Then it all shot off in the direction of the sea. Then the earth started to shake. When it stopped, we could barely see an island rise from the sea, with a massive white arch on it, and massive green crystals at the top of the arch.

"Ugh… What is… that...?" Raven asked everyone, as he tried to get up. "We... saw that… at Myorzo…" Judith said to everyone, as she tried to get up. "It's… that ring we saw in the mural…?!" Patty said to everyone, as she tried to get up. "It's… massive!" Ava said to everyone, as she tried to get up.

"Heh heh… hah hah hah… Success! At last… At last I have done it! behold , the greatest remnant of the ancients! The Enduring Shrine of Zaude! The ultimate blastia which once obliterated the catastrophe that threatened our world!" Alexei said, with a triumphant tune in his voice. "That's a blastia?!" Rita asked Alexei, as she tried to get up. "Maybe you could save this little speech until you get some alone time. You're embarrassing yourself." Yuri said to Alexei.

"The show, I am afraid, is over. It is time for the final curtain." Alexei said to us, before pointing his sword at Estelle, reattaching the three dark energies into her. "Now. Princess. Do you friends the favor of separating their heads from their bodies." Alexei said to Estelle, as the sphere around Estelle disappeared, and Estelle stood up.

"Bastard…!" Yuri said to Alexei. "None of this would have happened if you hadn't insisted on coming here. Oh, how the poor girl will feel when she comes to her senses… Farewell." Alexei said to us.

Yuri then charged at Alexei. But Alexei just disappeared in a gust of energy. "Damn you, Alexei, wait! Get back here! ALEXEI!" Yuri said to the spot where Alexei once stood. "Ugh… Alexei…!" Patty said, having a hard time moving. "Estelle… Don't…!" Rita said to Estelle, having a hard time moving. "Yuri, look out!" I said to Yuri. This alerted Yuri just in time to dodged Estelle's attack and blocked her next attack.

"Please… before I can hurt anyone else… Please…" Estelle said to Yuri. Then I could see Estelle's lips moved, before Yuri was forced back. "I'll set you free." Yuri said to Estelle. "Yuri…" Judith said to Yuri. "Yuri!" Karol, Rita, and Ava said at the same time. "YURI DON'T DO THIS!" I yelled at Yuri with all my strength.

Yuri and Estelle then started to fight each other. "I have to do something." I said to myself, while looking around. That's when I looked at Togetic and had an idea. Powering threw the numbness, I pulled out the Shiny Stone from my bag. "Togetic, catch!" I said to Togetic, as I threw the Shiny Stone. "Togetic." Togetic said as she caught the Shiny Stone.

This made Togetic glow light blue. Her body turned into an oval shape, losing her arms and neck, her wings becoming massive, gaining a small full tail, and her three bumps on her head grew longer. When the light faded you could see she was not a light gray color, with red and blue triangles on her belly, and a blue tip on her left headed bump and red tip on her right bump. "Togekiss." Togetic, now Togekiss, said, getting the attention of everyone, as she felt brand new and flew around all of us.

"My… little… girl…" Estelle said. "Togekiss get rid of Estelle's shield with Air Cutter." I said to Togekiss. "Togekiss." Togekiss said, as she flapped her wings and fired blades of wind at Estelle's shield. Estelle tried to block the attack, but that attack had enough force behind it to send Estelle's shield flying.

Estelle then tried to go after her shield. "Togekiss." Togekiss said, as she placed her wings together, then as she pulled them apart a dark blue sphere appeared in the middle of his hands. Togekiss then threw the sphere at the shield, completely destroying it.

This made Estelle turn to us with both her hands on her sword and lowered it. It was at this point we all finally got up and looked at Estelle. "Come back to us! Estelle!" Yuri said to Estelle. This made Estelle twitch. "Are you just going to let your life end like this, like someone else's tool?!" Yuri asked Estelle. This made Estelle twitch even more.

Then Togekiss and Audino charged at Estelle, knocking the sword out of her hands. But instead of fighting, Togekiss and Audino hugged Estelle. This made tears form in her eyes and she started to cry. Then Estelle returned the hug, and hugged Togekiss and Audino, while starting to glow pink. "I want to… I want to be myself! I want to keep on… living!" Estelle said as she sent out a pulse of pink energy. This broke her strings, and fell to the floor. But Togekiss and Audino caught her before she could hit the floor.

"You did it, Estelle. You're you again!" Karol said to Estelle, before we could hear a humming sound. "Wait, the system!" Rita said, as the sphere appeared around Estelle, glowing red, and focing Togekiss and Audino away from her, as she was lifted into the air a little. "What's wrong with her?" Ava asked everyone. "It was being kept in check by Alexei's sword! Without that…!" Judith said to Ava. "She'll go out of control!" Hugo said to everyone, as Estelle let out a scream. The scream had a small pulse of energy in it, and gave us all a headache.

"I can't… I can't stop it now… Everyone, run…!" Estelle said to us. "No way Estelle!" I said to Estelle. "Don't worry, we're not gonna lose you!" Yuri said to Estelle. "Any ideas?" Ava asked everyone. "I might be able to use his system…!" Rita said to Ava. "Might?!" Ava asked Rita, as Rita made a screen appear. "Amazing… It's synchronized with Estelle. Interferences deactivation data, a formula to isolate surplus aer. But what could possibly take the place of the apatheia." Rita asked everyone.

"You already have the answer." A gentle and calming female voice said to Rita. We all turned our heads to see Xerneas walking up to us. "Xerneas!?" I said, shocked to see her. "Xerneas? You mean the master of life Xerneas?" Karol asked me. "I'm no master, I'm just Xerneas. But I can help you. You just need to use that sword." Xerneas asid to us, while looking at Yuri.

"You mean this?" Yuri asked Xerneas, holding Dein Nomos up. "Of course Alexei copied his sword off of Dein Nomos, but he has a Mega Stone in it." I said to everyone. "Then use this." Xerneas said as she tossed something to Yuri. Yuri caught a small clear sphere crystal with a cream color and red core. "That's Audinite." Hugo said to everyone. "Rita will this work?" Yuri asked Rita. "Only one way to find out." Rita said to Yuri, as she dismissed the screen.

"Let me help. I'll keep track of the flow of aer." Judith said to Rita. "Me too!" Karol said to Rita. "I'll help out." Patty said. "I'll do what I can." Hugo said to Rita. "Gah. Damn this useless body…" Raven said to everyone, as he fell to his knees.. "Come Raven all hands on deck." Ava said to Raven, helping Raven up. "Please, everyone…" Estelle pleaded to us.

"What'd I say, we're not gonna lose you. When Brave Vesperia does something, we do it right." Yuri said to Estelle. "Okay." Estelle said to Yuri. "Now everyone, together." I said to everyone, as we formed up around Estelle and got ready. Yuri then put the Audinite into Dein Nomos, as Rita formed a magic circuit connecting us all. "Yuri! The sword!" Rita said to Yuri. "Here!" Yuri said as he raised Dein Nomos into the air.

Then we all felt weak. "Allow me to ease the burden." Xerneas said to us, as the floor started to shine a light blue energy. Then the energy moved into all of us, and made us feel incredible. The energy from all of us entered Dein Nomos, then three white beams of energy burst out of Dein Nomos and pierced the sphere around Estelle, popping it, and sending out a burst of wind.

Then Estelle started to fall, and Yui caught her using his body to keep Estelle from crashing into the ground. "It's a success!" Patty said to everyone. "All right!" Karol said to everyone. "We did it!" Ava said to everyone. "Welcome back." Yuri said to Estelle, hugging Estelle, while still on the floor. "Nice to be back." Estelle said to Yuri, hugging him. "Get a room, you two." I said to Yuri and Estelle, while having a big grin on my face.

This made Yuri and Estelle realise how they were lying, and everyone looked at them. The two of them blushed and moved away from each other. But once Estelle was free of Yuri, Karol, Patty, Audino, Togekiss, even Rita then tackled Estelle for a big group hug. We all smiled and laughed at the sight of this. "Nice work Yuri." I said to Yuri, punching him in the shoulder. "But I'll take that." Hugo said to Yuri, taking the Audinite out of Dein Nomos.

"It's truly a wonderful sight to see friends and family reunite." Xerneas said to everyone, getting Estelle's attention and making her stand up. "Xerneas, I ask for forgiveness, for all the terrible things I have done." Estelle said to Xerneas, bowing to her. Xerneas said notiding, but used one of her legs to make Estelle look up. "Estelle you have nothing to be sorry for." Xerneas said to Estelle. "You know me?" Estelle asked Xerneas.

"Of course I do. I've been around for a long time. And I've rarely met a human like you. You have tremendous power, and instead of using it for your own gian, like Alexei, you use it to heal and help others. That is why I know this isn't your fault. Cause, what happened here, is the work of a madman, not a kind hearted person like you." Xerneas said to Estelle. "Thank you for your kind words Xerneas." Estelle said to Xerneas. Xerneas nodded at Estelle. "Now walk with me." Xerneas said to all of us, as she walked to the edge of the platform we were on, overlooking the city.

"Now witness the power of life." Xerneas said to us, as she started to shine green with her horns adding multiple colors into it. Then vines came out of Xerneas' front legs and touched the floor, as gentle sound filled the air. This slowly made all of Zaphis, from the building to the sky glow green, cleaning the aer in the air, made the vines in the city move and form arches all over the city with multicolor flowers growing on it, and even bring peace to the monsters in the city and making them leave without a fuss.

NO P.O.V.

It was at this point Flynn, Corviknight, Luario, and all the Knights arrived, with surprised looks on their faces. And then the monster started to exit the city. The knights got ready to fight the monsters, but to their surprise, the monster just walked past them, as if they didn't want to fight. This confused the knights even more, and no one wanted to provoke them, so they let the monsters go in peace. Then the green glow with the multi colors in started to fade away.

Oliver P.O.V.

Once the energy faded, we could see that Zaphis was back to normal, and even looked better in my opinion, with arches of plant life all over the place, and a pleasant aroma in the air. "This is impossible? How?" Rita asked, as everyone looked at Zaphis with wide eyes. I then pulled out my Pokedex.

When the horns on its head shine in seven colors, it is said to be sharing everlasting life.

"Here Estelle, this is your's." I said to Estelle, giving the Pokedex back to Estelle. "Now I must go. Alexei has found something that should have remained lost." Xerneas said to us, before she leaped off the Sword Stairs. We all then watched as Xerneas leaped from building to building until she was out of Zaphis and heading for The Enduring Shrine of Zaude. Whatever that is, but I know it can't be good, by how Alexei and Xerneas were talking about it.
