Annabeth said "Don't just stand there. Go in"

We did but Percy had to catch me and hurled me up before I fell cause I nearly tripped. Most of them snickered.

We are not that dumb. They were sizing us up.

"Regular or undetermined?" said someone.

"Undetermined," answered Annabeth. There were some groans.

"Oh come on, guys. Don't be like that. Hey guys, there two empty spots over there" said the blond surfer looking dude from earlier named Like. We got a better look at him and noticed he had blue eyes, looked 19, and was wearing a tank top. He had on a beaded necklace that had 5 beads. We could see he had a long scar from beneath his right eye to his jaw. He had such a friendly smile.

If I had known the slaughter that would happen to my friends in the future cause of him, I would have slit his throat right then and there.

"You've already met Luke, he's you cabin counselor for now." said Annabeth. She was flustered. Ohhhhhh I get it. A crush. Her expression changed when she saw me and Percy looking.

"Nice tattoos. Where did you get them?," said Luke.

"Thanks, we got them an hour ago," said Percy as we held up our hand. Suddenly, they flowed and flames swirled out of our worst and forced the daggers we had gotten earlier.

Everyone looked on in awe. Then the whispering started.

"I wish our parents would give us a weapon like those"

"Hephaestus is the only flame god. Maybe their rare fire-user kids of his"

"Two fire-users? I don't think Hephaestus would let that happen"

"They don't seemed to be related, but there eyes look kind of similar"

"They both kind of cute"

"OMG I know right. I hope they're not related to us"

"What's their names?" said Luke. We thought for a moment, then I said "Firestorm" and Percy said "Scorchstrike"

Our hands moved on their own and did some fancy knife moves. Must be happy with their new names I guess.

"Hey maybe you should teach knife-wielding class?," said Annabeth.

We shook our heads, confused and scared, "I don't even know how we did that. Too many weird things have happened lately. We need to go outside" I said. Percy was ruffling his hair, one handed cause of the knife in the other.

We put our horn halves in the belt hoops of our pants.

"Wait, how long will we be staying here? Me and cramped spaces don't get along?" said Percy. He doesn't like cramped spaces cause he claims he feels caged.

"Unfortunately, we don't know. If you're claimed by an Olympian, you will go to their cabin, but if claimed by a minor god, you'll stay here, since our cabins patron, Hermes, is the God of Travelers." said Luke.

"Why can't we build our own cabin?" I said. Some of them started laughing. Other were depressed.

Annabeth pulled us out of the cabin, "Gotta take them to the volleyball court,"

Once we were far away from the cabin. She turned to us, "What was with the fancy knife show?"

I shrugged.

"I can't believe I thought one of you guys would be the one or that it was you guys who got to kill Pasiphae's son," she mumbled.

"You make it seem it's an honor to almost get killed by something that took our family away!" I snarled.

She glared at me, "You know that's not what meant. The people here have been training their whole lives for a chance to kill a monster like that"

"Wait a minute. Didn't some dude named Thesus kill that thing over gajillion years ago?" asked Percy.

"Monsters don't die, dumbass. You can kill them, but them don't die" she said.

Percy turned around and started ruffling his hair, "Thanks Blond Brainiac. That makes so much more sense"

"What's up with you guys?" She muttered.

"My eyes twitch and Percy ruffles his hair when under stress" I said.

"Monsters don't have souls, unlike us. So when dispelled, it could take a lifetime for them to come back. But they're permanent primal forces that always come back. Chiron calls them Archetypes." She explained calmly.

Percy paled, "Wait so the Ms. Dodds is—?"

"The Fur—I means that math teacher is still out there. She just mad now"

I raised my eyebrow suspiciously, "How did you know that?"

She pointed to Percy and said "I was the one who was nursing you guys back to health. He talks in his sleep. He also kept waking up. Also you move way to much your sleep."

"Why don't you call her by what she really is, a Fury?" I said. I twirled Firestorm in my left hand

She paled and looked at our shadows as if some monster was hiding in them, "Don't call them by their real names. Use 'The Kindly Ones' when referring to them"

"Ok genius, what can we say without it thundering?" asked an irritated Percy.

She didn't answer. "Ok then how about we sleep in another cabin? I don't do cramped spaces and Zarion moves in his sleep too much. He's stronger than he looks and will hit people."

"You don't get to chose your cabin. It's determined by your parents...well Parent," she said.

"You mean our dads?" I said. She nodded.

"What if you guys made a mistake? For all you know, our dads could be something else, not gods" said Percy

"Yea, you don't know us." I said. She raised an eyebrow, "Oh really?"

"Yea"

"I'm willing to bet my soul that you've both been kicked out of multiple schools after something you could never explained happened. Both diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Words float off things when you try to read them right?"

Me and Percy were at a lost for words, "W-w-well, so w-what?" Percy stuttered.

"It means you're one of us, a demigod," she said. She continued

"Your mind is hardwired for Greek, which is why you have dyslexia. Your ADHD, the impulsive half, is your innate battle reflexes in disguise. The other half, attention problems, is cause you see too much, not too little. That's why most of your teachers want you medicated. Cause they're monsters who don't want you knowing what they are."

I looked at Percy, "Okay then..."

"Also those drinks that you guys drunk when you woke up was nectar, a food that would kill a mortal if the consumed it"

"You mean to tell me tha—?"

"No, don't be like that. The barrier let you in, so your demigods. ACCEPT IT" said An irritated Annabeth.

Suddenly, someone grabbed me by my hair and started dragging me to the girls bathroom.

A surprised yelp told me someone was doing the same to Percy.

"Clarisse, stop!"

"Shut it, Chase! No one disrespects me and gets away with it!" Said Clarisse's voice. Me and Percy didn't start struggling till we were in the bathroom. She let us go, but we were surrounded by her siblings. They weren't bothered by the knives we had in our hands.

Her siblings grabbed us and our hearts suddenly started pounding loud enough for the whole bathroom to hear. They were about to dunk our heads in separate toilets when I felt a familiar rage in me. Now I see why mom didn't want to send us here. The people here are evil.

My vision went green, and I slammed both of the people holding me onto the walls. Our hearts got louder and louder

Lub-dub, lub-dub, lub-DUB, LUB-DUB.

The pipes made weird noises and water exploded from them. Toilet water came out of the stall Percy was forced in and splashed some people. I jumped to the ceiling with my weird burst of strength, flipping in midair, landing on the ceiling then jumping at Clarisse, tackling her to the ground, stabbing Firestorm right next to her ear.

She was pale with fear and shocked. I got off her and went to Percy, who was in a circle of dry space. I was also dry somehow. Everyone could still hear our heartbeats.

The beating noise slowly calmed down, and me and Percy walked out, but I turned to Clarisse, "Next time, I'll change your nickname from Baboon, to the earless Baboon"

Annabeth was completely soaked. Instead of being angry, she had an odd look on her face. "What?" Said Percy.

"Your both completely dry" she stated. "Ok and?" I said.

"You're green," she said, pointing to me. I looked at my hands, but couldn't really tell since, I was seeing everything in a green tint.

"I think I want you guys on my Capture The Flag team," she said.

"Sure. Whatever," said Percy.

Next part was hard, "Um...uhh...we sorry for soaking you in toilet water" I said, I rubbing the back of my head.

"Whatever. You guys don't have to like me, but that was just plain disrespectful" she said, irritated.

I threw Firestorm out of frustration, "We don't know wh—?!" Instead of hitting the ground, Firestorm exploded into swirls of flames, scaring the people who were around us, and flew back to my wrist a a flame tattoo. Except now the name Firestorm was under it.

Annabeth had a analytical look on her face, "Percy, throw Scorchstrike onto the ground"

"Why?"

"Just do it"

He did and Scorchstrike went back to his wrist the same way, with the name Scorchstrike being under the tattoo.

"Oh" said Percy dumbly.

"Sorry" he said. She rolled her eyes, "I'm going to go shower and get changed. Please stay out of trouble"

"Yes. We will try," I said.

She walked off.

We sat by the lake while she was gone, looking into the water as if it had the answers. Even though a lot of weird things had happened to us, we were still surprised when I two blue-skinned girls with brown hair, wearing green shirts and blue jeans, rose out of the water and said "Hi"

We both jumped out of surprise, but I somehow jumped over 15 feet into the air. Before I fell, my vision turned purple.

(A/N: in case you haven't noticed, different colors mean different powers. Green is physical augmentation/jump manipulation. Purple is Complicated, but for now, it's just invincibility. There will be more colors in the future, each will have a different power.)

And I feel to the ground. It didn't hurt, my body just felt heavier.

"OMG! Are you ok?" Said one of the girls. I stood up, with more difficulty than I thought, and nodded. My vision returned to normal color and My body felt lighter. Still, there wasn't any pain.

"Ok now you were purple," said Percy. I sat up and said "Hello, my name is—"

"Zarion and Percy. The newbies who picked a fight with Clarisse. Everyone knows who you are. My name is Cassandra" said the one with sea-green eyes. She was Asian with curly brown hair.

"My name is Helen" said the one with sea-blue eyes. Her hair was straight.

"Oh, okay" I said dumbly. They giggled, "No cocky shit, but first time talking to pretty girls?"

"Wellll, we're ugly and look like nerds. So yea," said Percy. He wasn't lying. We just started getting acne. And we both wear glasses, so we look like nerds. I honestly don't know why some of the girls in our cabin though we were cute.

Helen frowned, "Ok and?" said Cassandra. "Girls maybe be intricate puzzles, but at the end of the day, we'd know for a fact that a pot of gold covered in tar is way better than a pot of tar covered with gold," said Helen.

"Weird analogy but thanks," I said. She turned to her sister, "I like them. How old did the rumors say they were?"

"Unfortunately, 12," said a pouty Cassandra. Me and Percy were at a complete loss. We thought that they were just playing with us.

Cassandra seemed to read our minds, "We're serious. We're naiads, water spirits. We pretend to be bad flirts for people we don't like. But you guys are different. We don't just know you guys from the rumors at camp. Naiads from places you've been to are always talking about you two. You treat rivers with respect."

"Yea, a friend of mine told me you guys clean out 4 of our friend's rivers," said Helen.

"Well it was bugging us, and we had a lot of free time on our hands," said Percy.

"Can we claim them the for later on? I really like Percy." Hellen asked Cassandra. "What do to mean 'claim'?" Said a suspicious Percy, who was red as a tomato.

"We mark you so other nature spirit stay away and wait til your older, like 15" said Cassandra.

"Um...uhhhhhh...what if we fall in love with other people? Also no offense but how old are you guys?" I said, overthinking on every scenario. It rude to ask a woman her age, but this is a weird opportunity.

"Sharing lovers is common in the nature world, so anyone in the future will have to know how to share. And Naiads don't age, so we don't know," said Helen.

Me and Percy looked at each other, "Give us a moment, please"

We back away and Percy said, "I'm..."

"Confused?" I said. "Me too"

"Should we say yes? They seem really genuine," said Percy.

"But like, we're ugly,"

"I know"

"Maybe this is good karma for cleaning out those rivers when you first got here from Alaska."

"I feel weird."

"We never received any positive female attention outside our moms. So that's normal."

"But we look like nerds. Especially cause we're kind of scrawny."

"Then again how do we know they haven't said this to other dudes?"

"That's the thing, we don't know."

"I think we say yes. Even if it's a con, we don't have anything to lose."

I nodded, "Ok then"

We went back to Helen and Cassandra and said "Yes"

They looked genuinely happy. They pulled us down to their level and kisses our foreheads, Cassandra to me and Helen to Percy.

2 of my locs were permanently sea-green and strands of Percy hair were sea-blue.

"Nice souvenirs," said Helen. "Before we go, let us tell you a little secret about us."

"We're not just Naiads. We're also Demigods, children of Chloris, Goddess of Flowers and Plants, Spring, and Queen of Nymphs," said Cassandra.

"We've never told anyone else this except Chiron, so don't tell anyone else," said Helen.

They dunked back into their river. I couldn't stop smiling, "Dude, whether or not this is a con, I'm feeling great."

"Ok I'm ba—What are you 2 smiling for?" Said Annabeth. She looked at our hair, "What do you do?"

"Uhhhh...these two girls came out of the river and ask us to be their boyfriends in the future, to which we said yes, then they claimed us or something," said Percy.

Her eyes widened, "Cassandra and Helen! What the-? How di-? What did yo-? How? You guys just got here and they've never taken an interest in any boy here, " said muttered Annabeth. She seemed to short-circuiting from how illogical the situation sounded. It didn't make sense to us either.

"We honestly don't know. We're ugly," I said. She shook her head, "Try telling that to 20% of the girls at this camp"

"Oh," said Percy dumbly. She changed the subject, "Any other questions about Camp?"

"Can we leave?" Said Percy. "If you can get permission from Chiron and Mr. D. But going out without proper training is suicide," said Annabeth.

"Some we can't leave? We're stuck here forever?" I said.

She explained that how much power we have and who our Godly parent is will decide whether can leave or not cause we will need teasing to survive in the mortal world. She a also told us Gods sometime don't claims their kids cause they're either too busy or they don't care.

We asked questions about herself and she told us her mom is Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Battle. Her dads a American History college professor at West Point.

She gripped her gold ring on her beaded neck when talk about her dad. Must've been a touchy subject.

Percy stomach growled, so she let us go on. We bolted straight to the dinning pavilion. Bit was light up by Torches and there was a big fire blazing in the center the size of a bathtub.

Our tattoos glowed and Our dagger summoned themselves on a table far. They were glowing yellow, flames swirling out the hilts and onto the tables, coalescing and molding into food.

It was a practically a buffet that took up half the table. There was fries, chicken, salad, fruits, burgers, and veggies. We put the dagger back.

Our mouths watered, Percy saying, "Food!"

We got to devouring, having not eaten any real food in 2 and a half days. When we finishes a plate, it disappeared in a flash of flames.

We were half way done when the dinner horn rung. Various groups of kids came to eat dinner along with nature spirit Literally coming out of the woods. They were shocked at our meal, some drooling.

We didn't even really notice cause We were stuffing our faces. Everyone else sat down at tables while our cabin just stood there, not sure what to do.

Chiron stood up since he couldn't sit at the picnic tables. Clarisse sat right behind us, seeming to forget about being soaked earlier.

Grover sat with more satyrs at a table with some plump kids who resembled Mr. D.

Annabeth sat with some athletic kids with the same eyes as her

Helen and Cassandra walked up to the table and took two plates, "Slow down, guys. You have to save some for the gods," said Helen. They took two plates of fries.

"Why?" I said after swallowing a Cherry, "we put it in the fire cause they like the smell," said Cassie.

"You can't be serious?" I said. She shrugged.

"Fine, Elie, but it can't be fries. We love fries," said Percy, trading the plates in their hands with plates of chicken.

"Yea Cassie. They can have anything else. Just not the fries" I said.

Luke said, "You guys know them?"

"Betrothed future girlfriends. I think." I said, then continued to eat. I wasn't paying attention to anyones reaction.

All of our cabin mates sat down with their food.

Luke handed us empty glasses, "Tell it what you want. Just no alcohol."

"Ginger ale" I said. The glass filled with the amber liquid. Percy picked cherry coke, then changed the color to blue. We ate everything that was summoned for us, except the offering we we're supposed to give.

We walked up to the fire.

Dad. Percy's Dad. Whoever you guys are. Please claim us. Please.

I dumped my food in after Percy and walked away.

Suddenly my body tensed. I quickly turned around and caught something that flew out of the fire. It was a ring. The band width was at least 10 mm.

It was beautiful. The inside looked like a bunch of stars and nebulae, sparkling. The outer band on both sides were onyx black. Percy had gotten a ring, but it was different.

(A/N: Pics of the rings are on Wattpad. Search 'DarkWielder')

It was silver, with a gold trident in the middle on top. No one seems to be looking. We put them on, and they were a perfect fit.

We walked back to our table. Luke said, "I got you sleeping bags and stole some toilet paper from the camp store."

"Thanks," I said. I thought he was joking about the stealing.

People were chattering until Chiron stomped his hoof.

Mr. D rose with a sigh, "Hello you brats. Our activities director says Capture the Flag is Friday. Cabin 5 currently hold the laurels."

Ugly cheering came from Clarisse's table.

"Oh and we have some new campers today. Peter Johnson and Zachary Freeland"

Chiron whispered something to him.

"Oh. Percy Jackson and Zarion Frost." Mr. D corrected. "Now go to the amphitheater for the song-a-long or whatever."

Apollo Cabin led a single-a-long. After the conch horn blew for bedtime, me and Percy went to our spot in our cabin, which had two new sleeping bags for us. We held our Minotaur horn halves as we closed our eyes.
