I don't see many stories on Usagi's pregnancy with Chibiusa, so I thought about adding a chapter on morning sickness to this story. I'm sorry for not writing much lately, I'm trying to improve on that

Please review on what you think :)

Usagi gripped the sides of the porcelain bowl tightly, her hands clenching for dear life trying to hold herself steady. Hot tears spilling down her cheeks blinding her from being able to see in front of her. Arching her back as she emptied her stomach contents into the toilet in front of her. Her body slumped on the cold floor unable to move anywhere. Her blue eyes shining as her throat burned from the acid that now left her teeth tangy. Her head swirling witn endless thoughts and dizziness brought on by her weakened state. How she wished she didn't have to deal with this alone, how she could have someone with her right now. Mamoru rubbing her back to comfort her and ease her through this feeling. Whispering soothing words into her ear to make it all better. But she had to be strong, she had to focus on her own life, the wellbeing of herself and carry on. She just needed to hang on a little longer until he was able to return to her arms again.

She had heard stories from others about the trials of pregnancy, especially for young and first time mothers whom were new the these experiences. Sharing their wisdom to make the struggles easier. But nothing could have prepared her for experiencing it in person. She had been suffering from morning sickness rather terribly since she hit her 3rd month it had become rather difficult to tolerate. Unable to leave the house for her classes or her job on account of how terrible she had been feeling lately. She had heard tale that girls took it worst on your body compared to carrying a male fetus, she had to agree they were not wrong. Seemingly unable to keep any food down for too long before she was rushing to the toilet again. Not even in the world yet and Chibiusa was already giving her so much trouble, pushing her to the limit.

She needed to eat to give herself and her unborn baby nutrients, she needed her strength and she needed to satisfy her cravings. But her stomach couldn't seem to handle whatever she ate right now. She couldn't take one bite without wanting to throw up all over again. Her baby couldn't seem to make up its mind of what was ok for her to eat. Admittedly this was becoming very stressful to tolerate, remembering the carefree days she could eat whatever her heart desired without question.

Soon, the blessing came and her stomach no longer arched. Having nothing else to vomit out of her system. Wiping her mouth with toilet roll before flushing and leaning against the cold tiled wall in exhaustion. The lights too bright and burning her gaze, the hum of the bulbs and the nearby fan echoing in her ears. Her chest heaving from breathlessness, dried tearmark tracks across her flushed cheeks, her blonde hair bound into a messy ponytail down her back. Brushing her damp fringe from her face quietly.

She sat attempting to catch her breath on the floor for some time, attempting to regain what little strength she still had in her system. Now better understanding what her mother had endured before she had been born. Further gaining respect for her mother and what she had sacrificed her for all those years ago. She felt so tired, her body too heavy having no strength in her. Every time she tried to eat it became harder and harder to keep anything down at all. Puking had taken a lot out of her, god she needed sleep. Anything that would help her feel better. She slowly got to her feet, trying not to slide down the walls. Her legs shaking like jelly as she dragged herself from the toilet and towards her bedroom, pacing herself. She probably looked a mess but at this moment she didn't care.

She had endured battles and faced multiple enemies since she first learned of her identity as a sailor scout and Princess. She had grown since her days as a newbie and learned many lessons along the way, growing as a soldier, a ruler and a person. But admittedly, this experience as a mother was harder than she had expected. She paced silently towards her bedroom, her only concern was making it to the comfort of her bed. She laughed weakly under her breath, pondering on her trials through motherhood. "Already giving me problems eh Chibiusa?" she joked. She rubbed her small bump fondly, her love for her unborn baby growing as each day passed. Feeling Chibiusa move gently inside of her belly, a new princess waiting to be born.

She felt so lucky that Makoto, Ami and Rei had been coming over so much to help her. Aware of how much she had been struggling with her newfound status as a would-be mother. Carrying the future princess of 31st-century moon kingdom inside of her. Knowing of what she would face in the future, the enemies whom would attack her home and the lessons she would have to teach Chibiusa as she grew into a person. She knew her friends would not let her endure this alone and would support her through all the hardships that came with motherhood. Makoto was good at making meals that were nutritious for herself and the baby, which somehow she was able to stomach. Ami had been helping with advice that would keep her healthy and comfortable. Rei helping with any odd jobs she needed and making sure she was comfortable.

She called Mamoru as much as she could when she wasn't studying or working, updating him on her development and how she was doing as a student. Telling him how much she missed him and waiting for when he would return to Japan permanently. Promising he would visit soon, worrying about her wellbeing. Knowing that this was his child she was carrying and the responsibility they shared of raising their daughter together. Usagi slowly lowered herself onto her bed, sighing under her breath at the familiar warmth and comfort of her futon and mattress. Stroking her belly contently, gazing at the ceiling, endless thoughts swirling around in her mind. "I wish future me was here to help with advice on this" she groaned. How had her future self carried her pregnancy, gone through childbirth and protected an entire kingdom while ruling the throne? Wondering how she coped with the stresses and strain of it all.

She closed her eyes with a weary sigh, hoping she would be able to get some sleep. She hadn't been sleeping well lately either and her morning sickness was taking so much of what little energy she had. But the thought of seeing her daughter in her dreams brought her comfort. Knowing that she would get through this, the amazing child she would bring into the world. It would uplift her mood and reassure her that though things felt hard now, they would get better eventually. To show her the beauty of it and all the wonderful things she had come to love about it.

"It sounds like you're struggling Usa-chan" Mamoru replied fondly, their daughter did have much of her mother in her. She was a spirited soul from the very beginning. Buy it couldn't be easy for Usagi to tolerate the trials of pregnancy on her own. Wishing he could be by her side to help her through this difficult period to take some strain off her. Glad her friends were supporting her while he was unable to. As soon as he was in Japan, he planned on thoroughly spoiling his fiance to her heart's content.

Hearing his voice brought her so much comfort after the difficult day she had endured. To know she would soon be back in his arms once again "We know who she gets it from" Usagi mumbled weakly. Her daughter had her same stubborn streak and passion in her heart, a child of the moon just like her mother. However, she did hope she did ease down soon enough so she wouldn't feel so drained. Feeling so weak all the time wasn't doing her college studies or part time job any good, she needed to work hard and earn money too.

"I'll be home soon, I've got my tickets booked. Then I can spoil you all you want" he soothed. Usagi blushed, she knew how selfish she would become once Mamoru was back home in her arms. But as a mother to be and after moving out into her own apartment, she had matured and learned to act more like a mother. But then some things never changed. When it came to Mamoru, her heart knew no reason or rationality, all she could think about was how happy she was in his embrace. Smothering her in affection and making her feel loved. She gazed at the heart-shaped ring on her finger Mamoru had left before leaving for America. She treasured it with every fibre of her being, acting as the invisible thread that kept them linked even when so far apart. "We can't wait to see you" she smiled. Feeling Chibiusa dance in her belly, reacting to the love she was feeling and the familiar sound of her father's voice.
