"Damn it, Hermes, why the Hell did you suggest a drinking contest?"
Hestia, Hermes, Miach and Hephaestus all went out for a drink after getting Lili home safely, it was supposed to be a quiet but Hermes decided to spice things up by suggesting a drinking contest… Which he seemed quite proud of. Fair to say Hephaestus was not interested and spent her time shaking her head at the three other gods.
"Seriously Hestia, you can't complain you lapped up the chance at free boozes… Seriously how much of a leach can you be…"
"IMM not a Leachrr…"
She could barely string together a sentence. As she landed face-first flat onto the table. Seeing her friend in such a state left Hephaestus regretting coming along.
"Well Hestia was never one to learn moderation…"
"SHUT UP MIACH!"
Hestia shouted from the table, Hermes and Miach both dropped a sweat before they burst out laughing.
"Ha-ha I think someone's tired…"
Hestia still didn't pick her head up but she waved off their comment.
"I'm not a child I just don't get the oppa...tunity tooooo Driinkk…"
She trailed off and went quiet leaving the gods snickering at her. They soon burst out laughing as the she started snoring. Even Hephaestus couldn't help but laugh at her friend.
"Ahh well I'll admit this was nice… Its nice to see her relaxing, ever since she found out Bell and Artemis left the city she's been frantic…"
The two other gods nodded. Miach was still unsure why he had been dragged along but it was Hermes that invited him saying that it was his treat. But Miach knew nothing with Hermes was ever that simple. He was also out of the loop on what was happening with Bell and was curious why it was such a big deal.
"I get that Hestia is worried about Apollo but I know Bell, surely Artemis will be safe with him… I don't know the two's relationship or what happened in the past but why is Hestia doing all this..."
Miach looked at the two gods. Hephaestus shrugged.
"I don't know… I still find it strange that she would so easily roll over when it came to her child's relationship… She used to go on and on about how she wouldn't let any other women have him… Yet it seems her own friend was the exception."
Hermes took his mug and nodded but he looked a little unsure, when Hephaestus caught it she gave him an odd look.
"What's wrong Hermes?"
He took a large gulp of his drink and placed it back down as he looked to the now sleeping goddess.
"I don't think she rolled over… I think she feels guilty."
"Guilty?"
Hermes nodded.
"When we were travelling back she was always wondering if we made the right decision… But she worried more about Bell and his mindset…"
He leaned forward as he rested his head in his arm.
"I pushed them together... But even I didn't expect him to fall in love. Hestia didn't expect her friend to fall in love… We both ignored or denied that one fact."
Hephaestus nodded and leaned back looking up at the night sky.
"To think Artemis of all people would fall in love… Goes to show there are no guarantees in this world…Shame it had to be her friend's child…"
"If someone told me that Artemis of all people would fall in love they didn't know her. I think I'll have to see for myself before I truly believe it fully…"
Miach listened to the two converse but didn't butt in out of respect, he looked over at Hestia. As the two's conversation died off the topic of Apollo came back up and the three turned there attention to the new big problem.
"Apollo is going to cause her so much trouble… He's always been like that, he'll do whatever it takes to get what he wants…"
"Yeah his little outburst at the meeting was just his next big scheme he knew what he was doing… Even though he didn't get anywhere he's got the others talking… A few agree that perhaps Hestia shouldn't be looking after her but more then that they don't trust Bell…"
Both Hermes and Miach discussed the matter but it was Hephaestus that looked the most worried. She clenched her hands together before letting out a small cough gaining the two's attention.
"He's attacking the two things she holds dear. Her Familia and her friend… He's trying to goad her into accepting his challenge and he knows he'll win!"
"We don't know when he'll strike but like I said before we can still prepare… We have a couple days hopefully Bell and Artemis show up in that time."
They all nodded in agreement it was getting late and they all decided to wait till tomorrow to discuss this any more. Hephaestus and Hermes grabbed Hestia and swung her arms over her their shoulders.
"Ughh well Miach what do you plan to do?"
"Well, I pass the church so I'll join you two till then…"
The three of them headed towards the church, the walk wasn't too long and as the church came into view Hestia had slowly started to stir…
"Ughhh Bell… why Artemis..."
Her words were quite clear to the three gods how sighed.
"Guess she hasn't fully rolled over… Wonder how long she can keep her emotions buried?"
Hermes laughed a little.
"Considering she's been playing matchmaker with the two I think she will be happy… happy to see them together…"
Hephaestus sighed…
'You really don't understand a girls feelings… Its never that simple.'
Miach helped by opening the doors for them, as they slowly started walking down the stairs he thought he felt oddly warm.
"Hey is it just me or does it feel warm down here?"
Hermes quickly felt it to and nodded.
"No, I can hazard a guess as to why its so warm though… Guess they got back while we were out."
Miach opened the door for them and felt a blast of heat as he opened the door. The room was dark but the slight red embers from the wood were clear they had made a fire. But Hermes looked around and scratched his head.
"Where's Bell?"
He assumed he would be asleep on the sofa but he quickly got his answer.
"Mmmm Bell…"
The voice was most definitely Artemis however what was shocking to all three of them was the nature of it. It was most definitely one of pleasure and Hephaestus blushed a little.
"No… surely not?"
The three of them were beyond the point of curiosity as they moved over to the bed. They slowly peered over and looked at the two. They showed noticeable disappointment when they saw they still had clothes on.
"Well no surprises there."
Hermes spoke up before seeing the two gobsmacked gods staring with disbelief.
"What do you mean… When was the last time you saw a man touch her?! Ill tell you never! They all nearly died trying!"
Hephaestus said in a quiet voice not wanting to wake them up.
"Touching is one thing but, I'm more curious why she moaned his name?"
Miach said and the three all looked at each other and waited to see if she'd do it again. The placed Hestia down on the sofa as they watched the two.
"Really why are we watching… Doesn't this seem a little… wrong?"
"You were the one that wanted proof that she fell in love well this is more then enough proof if you ask me."
It was Bell that moved next. He groaned as he moved closer to the goddess. When the two saw how close they were it was meet with many many questions. But nobody asked as they continued to watch.
"Mmmm Bell…"
Artemis reacted to his movement as his body rubbed against hers, her head was now touching his and the twos nose's were touching. It was Hephaestus and her little squeal that dragged everyone's attention away from the two.
"Eeee. Aww, they look so cute together, I wonder if they were doing this while they were out?"
Hermes sighed and smiled.
"Well I'll be sure to tease the boy with this in the future…Now come on let's give them some privacy."
The three nodded in agreement, they grabbed a blanket and laid it over Hestia and left the basement. When they got up top they all said their farewells.
Artemis's dream.
She found herself enjoy a nice stroll through Orario… She was admiring the city a little while enjoying the nice weather. She was wearing a white summer dress and sandals. She found herself quickly sighing as she arrived at a dead end. She turned around and was met with two shadowy figures blocking her path. Their intentions were made clear as the walked closer to her, arms stretched out. She closed her eyes as the were but a few step away from her.
"Artemis!"
She slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Bell was standing behind the two, he gave her a small smile.
"Its okay now I won't let anything happen to you."
His words sent a wave of heat through her body as she smiled with joy. She watched as he effortlessly dealt with her two attackers as they both dropped to the floor. Turning to move she was quickly surprised by his pace as he was in front of her. Before she could get up he had already lifted her into his arms. She found him carrying her effortlessly as they headed through the streets. Something about the moment was odd, she was enjoying it, enjoying it a lot.
"Bell?"
He ignored her as they climbed the stairs of the wall. They only got about halfway before he placed her down. She felt disappointed as he moved away. Her hand acted on its own free will as it pulled the boy back in. He was surprised as he fell on top of her. Meanwhile, she felt herself heating up as she realised how close they were.
'Why do I like this feeling… His touch?'
"Artemis."
She looked at his face. It was happy with a little blush on his cheeks, his eyes stared at her and hers at him. He moved his hands forwards and touched her cheek. Touch became a hold as he moved her forward.
She felt herself being pulled closer… No she wasn't being pulled, she was moving closer. It took little effort for Bell to pull her into a hug. It was nice it was right...it was not enough.
"Mmmm Bell"
She pulled him back down and waited… She didn't know what for but she waited. When Bell leaned closer her heartbeat rapidly increased. When he was but inches from her face he stopped moving and Artemis realised something.
'Why am I thinking about this… I mean he saved me, he's kind and strong…'
Her heart pounded her chest and felt her cheeks closer as he slowly inched closer and closer… Her face was as red as his eyes, that were staring into hers. His nose touched hers and she gulped. She lifted her hands and placed them on his chest stopping him…
'No no I can't…'
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. But there was a little voice in her head. A part of her that was always quiet but always there in the back of her mind. The little voice in her head. This time it made itself clear.
'Maybe Lante had a point…'
Something in her woke up something that was dormant and hidden. It was clear that whatever it was had taken full control of her body. Instead of her hands pushing him away they latched onto his shirt pulling him in. Her head leaned in closer to his as she closed her eyes as her lips were millimetres from his.
Her eyes shot open to find herself staring face to face with Bell, their nose's were touching and his warm breath was hitting her. Her mind was racing her heart beating rapidly.
'Did...did I just dream about that… W-with him!'
Her body started shaking as she realised that she was just about to kiss him. The thought was foreign to her and she knew that this wasn't going to just go away. Her attention turned back to the boy in front of her. Her hero...
"Bell…"
She leaned over to him and kissed his cheek, her heart calmed a little as she moved back.
"Care to explain what you're doing with my Bell?"
It took a moment for her to realise, and when she did, her eyes went as wide as they could possibly go. She slowly turned her head to find Hestia at the end of the bed watching them. She hadn't realised as she was paying attention to Bell.
Hestia meanwhile watched her friend, she had awoken to find herself not in her bed but the sofa, when she got to her feet and realised that someone else was sleeping she went to go check.
"Hestia I..I can explain"
She moved away from Bell and moved closer to her friend as she crawled towards her.
Hestia looked at her angrily.
"You disappear for four days with Bell, no word about where you were going. I was worried sick… Then finally when I find out your both safe, I find you in my bed latched to Bell!"
Hestia didn't mind so much about her sleeping next to Bell, in fact she was just putting up an appearance the last thing she needed was to seem to an understanding about hers and Bells relationship.
"I-its well… You see…Bell was…"
Hestia didn't show it but she was smiling. This was the side of Artemis she never got to see. She had just caught her and she was at her mercy.
"Save it I don't care. Besides what the hell was that minute ago?!"
She was making sure to be loud but also, not to loud as she didn't want Bell waking up. But a small part of her did want him to wake up and see whose side he'd take. Artemis went bright red, she had just been caught kissing Bell on the cheek and by her best friend of all people.
"I-I-I…"
Hestia was now laughing on the inside, even the other Artemis wasn't this embarrassed, this was a goddess that was finding out exactly what love is for the first time and Hestia was going to tease her with it whenever she could.
"Come on, I don't fancy waking Bell up while we talk…"
Artemis looked back at Bell and nodded in agreement, they moved over to the door and headed upstairs. The morning air was cold outside the main room but Artemis was still heating up at the embarrassment from earlier. When they came upstairs Hestia sat down on the nearest bench and looked at her.
"Okay, no chance of him waking up and overhearing our conversation…"
Artemis started to fidget a little, she didn't know what to say to her to explain her situation, in fact she didn't know herself. These were all knew feelings to her.
Hestia could tell she was uncomfortable with the situation and she knew she should go a little easier on her. It wasn't her intention to put her off Bell, she wanted to be sure she was aware of her feelings.
"Urghh look were friends, I don't mind you and Bell getting closer. I can see that your fond of him, its just strange you know… Seeing my best friend and my child sleeping in the same bed together…"
Artemis was reminded about how embarrassing the whole idea of sleeping with someone was. But it was even more so that it was Bell, a man.
"Hestia I don't know what to say to you… Bell has nothing to do with this I was the one that asked him…"
Hestia raised an eyebrow.
"Bell is the key issue, Artemis up until a few days ago you couldn't even stand him looking at you, now your happily letting him hold you, in fact you willingly let him sleep next to you. Why?"
Artemis started to tap her fingers together as she looked away from her friend.
"I-I don't know… I just…"
She took a deep breath she knew she would have to tell her.
"While we were out Bell feel ill… I spent the night in his tent to make sure he was okay… H-he looked like he was in so much pain… I hoped that I could ease his pain if he knew I was next to him…"
Hestia sighed.
"Let me guess you got a taste and now you can't stop?"
Artemis just nodded her face was on fire and she couldn't even stare her friend in the face. She was fidgeting more and more as she wanted to go hide under the covers. Never had she been so embarrassed.
"Okay, that explains why you were sleeping next to him, but it doesn't explain why you kissed him on the cheek. That's like your pet hate."
Artemis couldn't stand for much longer she quickly sat down next to her friend.
"H-he saved me… Twice in fact. The first time was will we were hunting, the second I got kidnapped… I was so scared, they were looking at me and even planned to use me… If Bell hadn't been there I-I don't know what might have happened!"
She broke down into a cry, tears streaming down her face, Hestia couldn't believe that she was put into that situation she wouldn't want it upon her worse enemy let alone her best friend. She reached out to hug her.
"Hey hey, its okay, okay your safe. Bell would never have allowed that to happen."
Artemis started to shake as she was reminded at the horrid actions of the men in that room.
"I hated it, I hated the looks they gave me, the moment they touched me I felt sick… I just wanted it to end… The moment Bell burst in I was filled with so much joy. When it was all over I didn't want to let go… I don't know why but I just felt like I need to do it."
Hestia didn't regret Bell going with her now, in fact, she was glad he did, this was more than enough reason for Bell to be watching out for her.
"Guess I'll have to thank hero boy downstairs… But it wasn't like I got saved now was it."
Artemis was just managing to pull herself together but her friend's tone had taken a one-eighty. Her voice was calmer and a little more suggestive, she was looking at her with a suggestive look.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, obviously you agree that he should be rewarded for his heroic actions… You know he sure did look happy sleeping next to you…"
Artemis had to do a double-take.
"I'm sorry what are you suggesting?"
Hestia smile grew quite large as she decided to put her new plan into action.
"Well I do have something to tell you and Bell later but I think that can wait, besides I have work today… I doubt you and Bell will want to go anywhere today so I suggest you spend the day here, at least untill I get back."
She leaned over to her friend with a small smile.
"Perhaps you could take care of him for the day… You know just the two of you… I'm sure he'd love to spend the day in bed with a beautiful girl to hold onto."
Her blush grew darker at her friend's suggestion, in fact, the idea resonated with her body.
"I feel kind of bad now, I'm sure Bell will feel quite bad that he didn't get to wake up seeing your face."
Hestia watched her friend go red all over and she couldn't help but tease her with the idea. She could see her looking bad and looking at the door.
'Damn she might actually do it as well… She won't admit it but she wants it, I know that look, she's at the crossroads. Bell play your cards right and you'll have her wrapped around your finger.'
"S-should I?"
Artemis looked back to her friend for guidance, Hestia looked at her and smiled.
"Tell me, when your next to him do you feel happy?"
She nodded
"Does your heartbeat faster when you look at him?"
Again she nodded.
"Does your body feel like its melting when he touches you?"
Artemis how was beyond the point of embarrassment.
"Y-yes…"
Hestia stood up and took a deep breath, she gave her friend a reassuring smile.
"It's funny, I used to have that feeling around him, I think you should enjoy it as well… Go on get downstairs before he wakes up, I wouldn't want to deprive him of you for to long."
She made her way towards the church doors before Hestia left.
"Hestia, Ive made my decision!"
Hestia stopped and turned around.
"And that is?"
"I'm going to stay, I want to join your Familia. Ive decided that its time to stop living in the past. I want enjoy this life and I want to spend it with you and Bell!"
Hestia smiled she had been waiting for this since she suggested over a week ago. She knew Bell would be the deciding factor.
"You know, you'll have to listen to what I say, are you sure you okay with me being your goddess?"
Artemis laughed.
"Yeah, I know I'm just a girl like any other now, but I'm still your friend. Just because I'm not a goddess any more doesn't mean I can't tease or annoy you."
Hestia pulled her eye lid and stuck out her tongue.
"Enjoy sleeping with Bell its gonna be the last chance you get. Because when I get back tonight you'll have to follow my orders."
Artemis didn't know if her friend was being serious or joking, she watched her leave and found herself standing there. The cold breeze from the door opening and closing finally reached her and she was quickly reminded about the warmth waiting for her down stairs.
"I guess if it is the last chance I'll get then I'll make the most of it…"
She hurried down the stairs and back into the room, she made way back over to the bed and laid back down. Bell's eyes opened slightly as he started to wake up. Artemis could see the red glint and sighed a little.
"Ummm Morning…"
Bell went to rub his hands but found they were being held back. Artemis didn't look happy as he managed to see her face.
"I-is something wrong?"
Artemis let go of his arm and moved his hands up to his head they softly pulled him into her. Bell found himself in a glorious position he was under her neck and just above her breast, He quickly realised that she was stroking the back of his head. His face was staring to go red with his blush but he wasn't sure why this was happening.

He kissed the side of her cheek and smiled causing her to blush as well as also stop her speaking.
"Pillows don't speak Remember and if I'm gonna spend a few more hours as one then I think I can get a little comfier."
He didn't know why he was doing this something in the back of his head was spurring him on. Actions he would normally ignore he was now acting on. He wanted to test the waters something he had been avoiding with her since they meet.
His hands were still on her ass and it was still holding a light squeeze from when he pulled her onto him.

Bell looked at the out of breath goddess, he took great pleasure in his actions but a large part of him was guilty.
'I love Aiz… why am I doing this with her of all people, She was a goddess of chastity, the very act would mean death.'
'Was a goddess of chastity, she said it herself she's only a girl now.'
Bell found himself arguing with the other small voice in the back of his head.
'But she still holds those beliefs what I've done is wrong.'
'I didn't hear her complaining and those sweet moans showed she enjoyed it, Hell at one point she was begging for it..'
Bit his tongue and held his fists.

Bell moved his hands onto her hips and spun her over onto her back, he was now on top and staring her down. The two looked into each others eyes.
"Artemis…"
"Bell…"
Bell started to move his hands up her side.
"Bell, Artemis are you awake I left my purse is it down there?"
Both heard Hestia calling from upstairs. Bell jumped out of his skin and off Artemis rushing to the bathroom, while Artemis was left shocked and wondering what just happened. She turned over to look at the door and then herself her she quickly tided herself up as Hestia came down the stairs. She ran her hand over her left ass cheek and blushed.
"Ohh you are awake that's good where's Bell?"
Artemis had to think on her feet.
"He just went to take a shower… I uhh think I saw your purse on the side over there."
Artemis still hadn't managed to catch her breath yet and she was getting an odd look of Hestia.
"Are you okay? Your voice seems a little … strange."
She shook her head.
"No no I'm fine, don't worry about me you have a nice day I'll see you tonight."
She was was almost pushing Hestia out the door. She quickly closed it behind her before pressing her back against it and taking a deep breath. The sound of running water told her that Bell was going to be having a shower and she would be able to compose herself.
Bell meanwhile found himself taking the coldest of cold showers to cool himself off all the while he was trying to come up with a reasonable explanation for his actions. All his mind could say was he was hot sweaty and in need of relief.
"Artemis...Artemis...Ughh Artemis!"
"Hmmm Well, that was a bit of a let down. And after I went through all that effort to steal that aphrodisiac from Ishtar… Ohh well they've had a taste now, lets see how long they can ignore it for."
After scribbiling something down in a book the masked figure stood up.
"All great heroes need a girl Bell, I feel you've found yours. Good luck."
Meanwhile at the hearth mansion.
"My god apollo we've received news from the group we sent to intercept the boy."
Apollo sat at his desk looking out of his window at the members of his Familia training below.
"Excellent what news?"
The man stood to attention before reading the letter..
"As off the other day, all twelve of the members were injured in an attack on our safe house, Trist the leader of the group has suffered heavy organ and spinal damage while the rest have burns and minor injuries."
Apollo broke the pencil in his hand and turned around with a less the happy expression..
"Carry on."
"Yes sir, The damage to the safe house is quite extensive, and repairs have already begun, the attack where the boy in question Bell Cranel of the Hestia Familia and Welf Crozzo of the Hephaestus Familia. Apparently, the men had acquired the girl that was with him which is what caused them to strike first."
Apollo placed his hands together and put his fingers to his lips turned around for a moment before a smile grew on his face.
"Were there any more witnesses?"
"No my lord it was an isolated incident. Will you be requiring anything else?"
Apollo stood up and licked his lips.
"Yes have one of our members take a message to the guild tell them that I will be arriving to discuss matters with its head. Have a carriage made ready for me."
"Yes my lord at once."
