It was a strange evening. All around the people of Orario watched as the smoke and fire rose high into the air. All the while they wondered what was going on. But as Apollo and his Familia walked the streets all knew what was about to happen. Apollo had done what he set out to achieve and he stood proudly in front of the guild.
"Here me! All who would listen. Hestia has accepted the Wargame, informed the gods, and made preparations for an emergency denatus!"
It was a spectacle unlike any other. Some cheered and clapped, praising him others stood and watched from afar worried about the outcome such a declaration could bring.
One of these people was Eina and she watched from the inside the guild looking out at the street. Her fellow workers stood at her side. One of them, a pink-haired girl, stood directly beside her.
"I'm afraid Bell's in a lot of trouble this time…"
Eina sighed in defeat. She admired the white-haired boy. It had been a week since she last saw him and even then it was in passing… He looked terrible, the guild issued a hush order on the boy's quest even before he returned. That order still remained in place.
"Bell…"
Hermes and Asfi were nearby when they saw the explosion, Hermes was confused just as much as Asfi at the time, but when they realised the direction it had come from and sightings of Apollo Familia in the distance he rushed forward worried.
"Damn Apollo, he really didn't wait did he!"
He and Asfi turned a corner, at first Hermes were glad to that they were all safe. But as he turned to see the burning wreckage of their home that all changed. Asfi took a step back in shock.
"Lord Hermes… surely… surely the guild wouldn't allow such a thing to go unpunished?!"
Hermes sighed lowering his head.
"Quite the opposite, they probably allowed it."
"Why would they do such a thing!"
Hermes looked at Hestia, the tears in her eyes, then at Bell the rage in his and finally, Artemis who looked at the two closest too her with sorrow.
"Because Apollo just so happens to pay a great sum of money to the guild… No doubt the guild head is biased in his favour!"
He leaned his head back against the wall and sighed.
"Even though we saved them, they already have forgotten… The guilds hush order has left people blind to the truth… Most believe Freya or Loki saved them, and why shouldn't they believe it, the guilds to foremost pillars!"
Asfi could see her gods angered expression, he didn't normally show it, but she knew more than anyone that he was worried.
"Come on let's go help them. If nothing else that's the least we can do now…"
Asfi nodded and walked forward alongside her god as they appeared from the alley. He didn't bother to put on an act or try to lighten the mood with a joke. Instead, he stood beside them and waited.
Bell and Hestia had noticed him heading this way, but they did not greet him they were unsure about what to even say to him. So the just sat in the dirt, quiet. Artemis didn't care much for Hermes but she could see by his look he was sorry for them. She decided to move closer to Bell allowing him to stand next to Hestia.
Hermes saw Hephaestus holding her child in her arms, blood staining her white shirt, the injuries on the poor boy were numerous. He turned to Asfi.
"Help him…"
She didn't say anything instead she just made her way over pulling out a couple of small vials. As she aided Welf Hermes knelt down next to the small goddess. He took of his hat and sighed.
"I'm sorry... If I knew sooner I would have helped."
Hestia's tears disappeared as quickly as they left her eyes. Evaporating in the heat. Her home, the only home she had known… Was now burning rubble. Words couldn't express her sadness nor her anger.
"Ohh he will Bell…. He will…"
Hermes was not privy to what she was referring to but he could see the look in Bells eyes. It was one of anger but also determination. The boy had a different kind of fire burning inside him, one Hermes thought had once gone out.
'Zeus… We planned for him to become a hero… the last hero… We almost lost that chance… But now I'm sure! His next hurdle is fast approaching time to see if he's ready for it.'
"Come on, lets head to the guild… they'll help get you some temporary accommodation."
He offered Hestia a hand but she pushed it away getting to her feet herself. She had stopped crying moments earlier. She clenched two piece's of paper in her hand. Pushing him out the way as she headed towards the guild. Artemis watched as her friend walked away and quickly followed suit.
"Lord Hermes…"
Bell walked past him and nodded his head showing a sign of respect. Hermes looked to Asfi. She had done what she could to ease the boy's pain but potions only did so much…
"Help her get him to a healer… I'll meet back up with you later."
With that he followed Hestia and her Familia to the guild. By the time they arrived Apollo and his Familia had disappeared but the aftermath of his little speech could still be seen. People started whispering and pointing as Hestia walked towards the guild building. Bell could see them at it, and it annoyed him. He took a moment to look at the guild building. He hadn't stepped inside for almost a week. Only passing it from time to time. Artemis slowed her pace till she was walking next to him.
"So this is the guild… I imagined it to be a more lively place… "
It was certainly busy. She watched as adventures came and went as they approached the doors but the situation had put a damper on her first time. Even Bell who always seemed to be happy and cheery was depressed. She didn't like seeing either of them like this, not him nor Hestia.
'Bell….Hestia… I'm sorry this is all my fault!'
She hung her head as tears started to form. Bell took a moment to look at the girl beside him, the shock of what happened left him oblivious to everything and everyone around him. Even her. What should have been a happy time was spoilt and ruined.
He looked to her and touched her hand. Not making to obvious to onlookers it was brief but he wanted to let her now he was there. He lowered his head and his a whisper.
"It's okay…"
Just two words were all he said as he let go of her hand and entered the guild. The moment they did the hall went quiet as adventures and employees alike watched them. Hermes didn't like the quiet it set the tone for bad things.
Even Royman the head of the guild stepped out of his office to see why the commotion had stopped. He looked at Hestia and Hermes and gulped as he made his way over to the counters to intercept them.
'Just my luck… First Apollo now Hermes and Hestia. Haven't they caused enough trouble today!'
He had a quick meeting with Apollo after he demanded action should be taken against Hestia and her Familia… At the time he was far to busy to deal with it and seeing as Apollo handed him a large donation to help the relocation of citizens who's homes were destroyed in the recent attacks.
Hermes was the first to see the fat elf waddle towards them. He all but ignored those around him as he pushed past making himself know to there presence.
"What can my humble guild do for you today. Lord Hermes and Lady Hestia?"
Bell was unsure at first who this man was, but his appearance and demeanour reminded him of a person Eina once talked about. What should have been obvious was his greeting as he deduced that this was the head of the guild Royman Mardeel.
He remained quietly behind Hestia and Hermes as he listened in on the conversation.
Hermes was the first to greet him.
"The guild head himself comes out to greet us, that's unlike you Royman?"
"Ughh yes...I suppose it is… still"
He looked at Hestia, for the last week or so had been the bane of his existence. Her child had caused more than his fair share of uproars in the guild. Twice now he had to put out a hush order on something he'd done. If the guild openly endorsed his actions they'd have more dead adventures and paperwork then they'd be able to handle. Speaking of her child he turned his head.
"Given recent events I think it's only natural I'd offer my help…"
'That and its less likely to end in trouble!'
Hermes rubbed the back of his neck.
"We wouldn't want to bother you I'm sure your busy besides I'm sure one of your underlings would be better suited for dealing with a simple level up and adventurer request?
'So she finally recruited someone else?'
He turned his head and looked at the blue haired girl besides Bell.
'So that's the one Apollo spoke of? Figure this is what all the conflict is over!'
"Hmm yes, yes I suppose your right lord Hermes… If you excuse me…"
He headed of in the direction of another counter, leaving everyone fully confused.
"Soo that's the guild head?"
Hermes and Hestia nodded.
"Yeah don't worry about him no doubt Apollo ruffled his feathers these last few weeks. Were probably not his best friends right now so just keep your nose clean."
It was then that someone arrived to take their requests. Hestia went through the basic protocol of registering Artemis as a new Adventurer, once that was all sorted she was taken to get some new equipment. Bell meanwhile waited around while she registered his level up, and like last time it caused a small uproar if only brief as the record holder for level 2 it came at no surprise that he'd do it again.
'Figures he'd do it again…'
Royman was looking over at them from the other counter. He was curious to say the least, and wanted to keep an ear to the ground. Last thing he need was newbie adventures ruining their deaths over false hopes.
"Congratulations Bell Cranel on your level up!"
The guild staff said as they finished recording it. Bell nodded paying little attention it wasn't like this was anything new. He was happy he levelled up but he didn't want to cause another uproar.
"Now is there anything I can help with?"
Hermes nodded.
"Yes we'd like to put in for temporary accommodation?"
The face on the staff member didn't look good as he looked to Royman who had once again started to head towards them.
"I'm afraid at this moment in time that won't be possible."
"And why not Royman surely the guild has plenty of spare accommodation?"
Royman nodded.
"Yes normally we would, however all the civilians living in the near vicinity have had to be relocated, not to mention other stretches of Orario where fighting had broken out.."
Hermes sighed and pushed Hestia to the door.
"I supposes that can't be helped, in that case I'll have to handle it thank you Royman, have a nice day. Bell wait for Artemis once you two are done meet us at the hostess."
He smiled and started to push Hestia out the door.
"Hermes were are we going? And stop pushing me!"
Hestia struggled to keep her step as she headed forward and turned.
"I just said now come on!"
The two disappeared and Bell was left alone waiting… He realised that Royman was still looking at him with a less then cheerful look. In fact he almost thought he was angry about something.
"Umm…"
He didn't know what to say or do with the man, instead choosing to remain quiet.
"Eina is the one advising you yes… Hmmm?"
He answered his own question before walking off. Bell was left unsure about what just happened but he wasn't going to question it. It wasn't long after that Artemis came back, carrying a small bag.
"All done?"
He waved her over to him, she looked a little more cheerful but given the situation even that was hard to do. But he still smiled all the same, happy for her.
"Not what I'd use but it will do."
The two shared in a small laugh as they headed for the door, Bell was curious normally they'd inform her who her advisor wound be…
"So who's your advisor?"
"Ohh ummm I'm supposed to come tomorrow to see… Eina I think it was?"
Bell stopped in his tracks. As he rubbed the back of his head. Of course they'd have the same advisor. Still that made things easier for him since he'd be able to sit in on the conversation… He hoped.
"Ohh you know her?"
Artemis noticed his reaction and assumed that he knew her well.
"Yeah well she's my advisor as well, still what a spot of luck that is huh…"
"Mmmhm."
They exited the guild building and head towards the hostess, it was late in the afternoon now so it was the obvious place to go, even if they couldn't find a place they could at least rent a room… That was if he had enough to afford all of them.
'My stash is still buried under the church… No way I'm getting that back for awhile… Ughh well I supposed I have an excuse to hit the dungeon again.'
He looked to see the smoke rising in the distance… It was a sad sight but he knew there was little he could do now. He had to be strong for his goddess and Artemis… He tried to keep it as far from his mind but the anger towards Apollo and his Familia was evident.
"I will beat them…"
Artemis gave him a solemn look and nodded.
"We'll beat them…"
"Huh?"
Artemis nudged him with her elbow think he'd get the message when he didn't she pulled a disappointed pout.
"Your not the only one in this Familia now, you know!"
It clicked as he rubbed the back of his head laughing, the girls slightly angry expression was kind of cute. But she was right.
"Sorry just getting used to it is all… Still can't believe it to be honest."
Artemis moved closer to him leaning onto his arm.
"Well start because I'm going to be looking up to you as my dungeon mentor."
He blushed a little from her comment, she was no longer a goddess, she was just like him. No doubt he would have to get used to that fact as well.
"Yeah…"
He moved his hand over hers their fingers lightly rubbing against one another. He held back from holding it not wanting draw attention…
"I'll keep you safe."
It was Artemis that went out of her way to extend a finger as it hooked his. A light blush on her face as she looked away.
"I know you will...T-thank you."
They both went quiet after that, no more words needed to be said as they walked slowly towards the hostess. Bell was taking his time, he knew when they arrived at the hostess they'd have little chance to be alone. He didn't know why he wanted to be alone. But it was the same when he was around Aiz…
'These little moments are so nice... I hope she doesn't mind.'
He snuck a quick peek at her, he made a mental note of her smile and went about enjoying himself.
'I'll take that as a yes…'
It took them awhile at the pace they were going to reach their destination. However it didn't bother either of them, once they were with in eyesight of the entrance they moved away from one another an agreement that perhaps they were a little to close.
"Sorry"
They both said looking away from one another. Once they reached the entrance they were greeted by Chloe…
"Ohh Its you little rookie… and who's this your girlfriend? Syr won't be happy about that."
The waitress said this but her voice was almost teasing as her tail swayed from side to side. She made note that they was both quite embarrassed, no doubt by her first remark.
"Ohh no no, she's part of my Familia. Are lord Hermes and my goddess here?"
Chloe nodded as she showed them inside, Hestia and Hermes were sitting at the bar talking with Mia, the crowds turned to see the new arrival, best to say it was a sight met with whispers and funny looks.
Artemis moved closer to Bell, as she felt everyone looking, but to Bell her actions only made things worse.
one "Hey Isn't that the little rookie? Didn't his Familia accept a wargame today?"
two "Yeah Apollo, damn I wonder if anyone's taking bets, I'll make a fortune betting on Apollo to win?"
three "Seriously that's the first thing that comes to your mind? I'm more bothered about the hottie he's got, how does a wimp like him get a girl like her?"
two "Yeah I know and its not the first girl ever, a couple of the waitress in here give him the needy look. I'm kind of jealous of him."
one "I was in here a couple days ago he and the sword princess we're really close… you don't think?"
Bell could feel it, the air turn cold and bitter as he gazed at all the men in the room, yeah this happened every single time.
'Give me a break'.
*"Come on kid they're just jealous of you and your harem!"*
'I don't have a harem old man and I'd prefer you stop referring to my friends as such!"*
*"Yeah because I'm sure they all just want to be friends?"*
Bell just ignored his grandfather; it was easier then arguing with him and less likely to end with him being right. In his moment of thought he didn't realise Hermes was calling over to the two of them. Artemis had to nudge him to snap him out.
"Ohh sorry."
They took a seat at the side of the bar. Mia sighed.
"What can I get you Bell, Hermes paying so don't worry about cost."
Mia was normally a little more cheerful but she seemed down today, but no doubt Hermes had been nagging her ear.
"I'll just have the usual…"
He said but Hestia shock her head.
"Noooo He'll ha-b so-nthing strong!"
Bells mouth hit the counter as he watched his goddess drunkenly order him something to drink. Hermes laughed as he knocked back his.
"Sorry Bell, I thought it would raise her spirits a little… I forgot that this girl is a lightweight."
Artemis let of a little giggle. As she watched her friend lay flat out, Mia shook her head at the sight.
"He's not wrong, poor Hestia."
"Still your goddess has a point here you go top shelf."
Bell looked at the small glass of brown coloured liquid, he took a whiff and placed the glass down, he barely drank at the best of times and even then it was when he was forced. He managed to dodge anything this strong. But know he had little to no choice.
He took the glass in hand and hastily nocked it back, his eyes widened as the liquid started to burn his throat. He nearly choked as he banged his chest. Coughing violently. Hermes was laughing his head, even Mia couldn't hide her enjoyment of the scene.
"Ha-ha you're supposed to take it slow Bell and savour it."
"Ughh can't breath!"
Artemis rubbed his back as he thought to regain his breath at which point Mia poured him another.
"Her try again this time little sips…"
Bell looked at the glass and shook his head. But Mia pushed it closer.
"Ohh no not tonight Bell come on you've had a rough day you need it."
Hermes moved over to Bell's side and slapped his shoulder. Now come on! A man doesn't back down from a challenge!"
Bell looked down, something about lord Hermes words reminded him of his grandfather and he didn't like that thought one bit.
He took the drink in hand and took a quick sip, he shook his head as he tried to get used to the strong tasting liquid, Hermes was laughing at him.
"Ha-ha don't worry, couple years and you'll get used to it. No time to slow down the night is young."
Artemis felt bad for the poor boy, but she wasn't going to get dragged into this, she knew full well the kind of man Hermes was and she wasn't about to let her guard down.
She moved away from them only to be greeted by a silver haired girl who was looking at her strangely. But once she realised she smiled.
"Ohh are you a friend of Bells?
Artemis looked at the girl seeing her uniform and realising she worked her as well. She nodded as the girl crossed her arms.
"I should have guessed, he really is popular…"
The waitress seemed to shift slightly as she looked over at Bell how at this point was becoming Hermes new drinking buddy. She smiled and turned back to her conversation.
"Soo are you two… close?"
Artemis was taken aback by the girls question but simply shock her head.
"Well I wouldn't say… what I mean is…"
The girl shook her head.
"It's fine I understand… He is handsome after all."
Artemis raised her hands about to clarify what she meant but decided to change the subject instead.
"Ohh I didn't catch your name?"
The girl smiled.
"Syr a pleasure and yours?"
Artemis raised an eyebrow.
'So this is Syr… Does she have a thing for Bell…"
"Artemis pleasure to meet you as well Syr."
Syr bowed and looked around.
"I best be getting back to work. Mama said you were staying here so I'll see you around. Bye bye".
She watched Syr make her way over to Bell who was surprised by her appearance. She grabbed hold of his arm and pulled him close to her. Bell was red with embarrassment as she moved closer to his face. Artemis couldn't explain it but she didn't like it one bit.
"Go on Syr leave the boy alone you can flirt with him later go clear the tables!"
"Yes Mama!"
The night went on with many many drinks at one point Hestia had fallen of her chair and flat on the floor passed out, they all had a good laugh about it but it fell to Artemis to lug her friend upstairs. Mia had explained to her which rooms they would be using, To her surprises she was sharing a room Apparently other people were staying the night so she only had the two rooms free. She kicked pushed the door open as she moved her over to the bed. It wasn't the largest of beds but it looked surprisingly comfy.
"Come on, time for Bed you've had enough for one night."
"Fcuk apollo…"
She chuckled at her friend's attempt to curse Apollo, ending in just a slur. She moved her onto the bed and laid her down. She was attempting to throw a punch.
'I hope she doesn't think, I'm Apollo… unlike that sneak I'm trying to help!'
Hestia quickly gave up as soon as she started, Artemis was able to pull the covers over, as her friend dug into her pillow. A muffed moan of enjoyment.
"Night Hestia…"
She went to leave but stopped as she heard a scream.
"Beeellll. What are you...doing with, mi friend!"
She started to rollover as she pulled the covers close.
"Nooo fairrr Artemsss. Can't we share him!"
Artemis blushed at her friend's drunken dream, she quickly left not wanting to listen any further. She carefully closed the door trying to be as quiet as possible as she head back downstairs. Once she was back in the main room she found herself looking around. She noticed the seat next to Bell was open as she quickly hurried over to sit next to him. However she was beaten to it by none other than the grey haired girl from before.
She almost stopped in her tracks as she watched them, even her boss didn't bother to stop her as she started to get closer to him. She slowly walked over to Hermes and sat next to him instead listening to the girl.
"I'm sorry to hear what happened to your home Bell…How are you holding up?"
Bell was just slightly drunk as he realised Syr had sat down next to him. She looked as sad as he was feeling, having place her hand on his.
"I..I'm fine...T-Thanks don't worry about me…"
She pushed herself closer, staring him straight in his eyes.
"No you're not. I can tell, why would you lie to me!?"
Syr got angry with him, her grey eyes piercing past his red ones. She was gripping his hand in her lap and leaning close to his face. He couldn't tell if it was the alcohol or the situation but he felt his face heat up.
"It's okay Bell, you don't have to act strong all the time, sometimes its okay to show a little sadness."
She pulled him into a hug. Her grey eyes looked past the god next to them and at the blue haired girl, their eyes met briefly before Syr moved back.
"You know Bell if you'd like I can keep you company tonight." Syr ran a finger down his chest. She was sure to say it loud enough for those close by to hear her. Especially Artemis.
"Ughh no no I wouldn't want to trouble you."
Bell tried to shake her off but she was attached and had no intention of letting go.
"Spending time with you would be far from trouble! Besides I don't mind its not like I get a chance normally."
Bell was now blushing as Syr was pulling her usual sad look, a look she knew full well he was susceptible to…
"Ohh well I suppose but I have Hermes and…"
Hermes sighed into the table a hint of pain in his voice.
"Ughhh nah sorry Bell I've got to head back… Asfi is gonna kill me when see finds out."
Bell saw his way out stand up and head for the door. A large ball in throat formed and he forced himself to swallow hard.
"B-but…"
Syr smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek and turned his cheek so he was looking at her.
"Perhaps afterwards you'd like to join me in… Bed?"
Bell blushed heavily at her less then innocent request he could feel her hand on his leg and it was slowly moving inwards. He gulped attempting to move back. Only to get another sad look.
"Do you not want to?"
"I-I ughhhh…"
'Someone please help.'
Artemis watched Syr closely, she didn't get involved; she didn't know what the two's relationship was but they seemed close. But as the conversation went, on the more she found herself disliking the girl. At one point she shot the girl a glare that was unlike any she'd given before.
Syr had seen it and in fact took it as a complement. She had gotten the girl to break her guard. But more than that she had played her.
"Soooo what do you say Bell?"
It was then that Bell felt someone tugging on his back, He turned around to see Artemis looking not at him but Syr. But all the same he was glad to have a brief distraction to try and escape.
"Shouldn't you think about going to sleep soon… You promised to take me to the dungeon early tomorrow!"
He didn't know why she was doing this, but he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth, however Syr wasn't going to give up that easily as she grabbed his arm.
"In that case why don't we head up to bed know? My shift has finished any ways?"
Bell gulped
"No I think I should…huh?"
He was about to tell her no but then he felt someone grab his other arm. Surprises surprise it was Artemis of all people. Her normally stoic look was now a piercing gaze at the waitress. Both kept pulling him back and forth. Bell wasn't paying attention to the two of them as they both glared at one another.
Syr "I believe Bell was going to answer my question!"
Artemis "He doesn't have time for that he needs to get to sleep."
Syr, "Ohh then doesn't that also mean you should as well?"
Artemis. "I will as soon as Bell is, got to make sure he doesn't stay up all night."
Syr. "He won't, I'll make sure of that. Bell can trust me after all."
Artemis. "Perhaps but Bell promised me, I want to make sure he sleeps with no distractions."
Syr. "Why do you care, it's not like you want him!"
Artemis. "I'm part of his Familia I'm just looking out for him!"
Syr "Well I've known him longer, I know him better than most!"
Bell at this point was being ragged about as the two showed no signs of stopping anytime soon. Almost everyone in the hostess was watching them even Mia stood out the way.
Ryu went up to and whispered.
"Shouldn't we stop them, I mean they are causing quite the scene?"
Mia sighed.
"I would but she's not on duty, and besides I kinda wanna see how it ends."
one. "Okay I've changed my mind I kinda feel sorry for him…"
three. "Yeah… those girls are fighting over him like wolves over a piece of meat!"
two "At this rate they'll rip his Arms off!"
Chloe and Anya were to the side placing bets on who was going to win. Never of the two looked to back down.
"Bell what do you want to do?
Syr asked as she moved closer to his face, pulling him closer.
"Yes, what do you want to do Bell!"
Artemis, stood up pulling him towards her.
"I want to be let go!"
Never of them accepted his answer.
"I won't lose!"
"Never will I"
*"Damn two hotties fighting over you, if I was in your situation I'd choose both!"
'Shut up you pervert I just want to be let go!"
*"At this rate the black dragon will be defeated before that happens!"
Syr had now stood up, she was giving Artemis dagger like looks while Artemis gave her piercing glares.
"Enough answer us Bell which one?"
Both girls shot a glare at Bell and he knew true fear. They went quiet waiting for an answer, so quiet in fact you could hear a pin drop.
*Smash*
"Huh."
Syr heard a glass smash behind her causing her to jump, to her surprise it was Ryu of all people, She had momentarily let go to see if she was okay but the moment her grip eased Bell was pulled from her grasp.
"Huhh wait…"
Artemis wasn't going to wait about as she pulled Bell towards the stairs. A smile on her face as she was almost skipping. Everyone watched for a minute before turning to Syr how was still looking confused. Ryu bowed her head.
"I'm sorry it's all my fault, I'm sorry if I spooked you."
Syr sighed.
"It's okay Ryu, I'll get him another time…"
Syr went into the back out of sight of everyone, while Ryu knelt down to pick up the broken glass. Mia was standing behind shocked but a smile on her face as Chloe and Anya stood next to her.
"In all my time working Here I don't think I've ever seen Ryu break a glass, she's normally so graceful?"
Anya nodded.
"In fact now that I think about it she's never tripped, stumbled or bashed into anyone… How the Hell did she break the glass?"
Mia shocked her head. As she held out her hand.
"I think I won the bet, now pay up…"
They both sighed as they handed over they're purses to the dwarf.
"To answer your question, she didn't. She dropped it on purpose!"
Bell got tired of being pulled up the stairs and quickened his pace a little, At least till he was besides Artemis. He sighed as he looked at her with a smile.
"Thanks Artemis you saved me back there but next time you mind being a little less forceful?"
Artemis just ignored him as they reached his room he was going to say goodnight to her, but he was utterly shocked when she pulled him inside.
"Ughh shouldn't you be…"
Artemis shook her head as she locked the door behind her. She lowered her head as she grabbed hold of his arm.
He felt himself being pulled towards his bed. He was still unsure about exactly what she was doing, however it soon became obvious.
"A-Artemis… we.."
She placed a finger on Bell's lips and shook her head.
"I meant what I said, this is the best way to make sure there are no distractions! Now lay down."
"B-But"
Artemis had enough, she sighed as she started to remove her shirt. Causing Bell to blush.
"A-Artemis w-what are you d-doing?"
He covered his eyes and looked away. Meanwhile Artemis made away with her skirt. She was blushing heavily but she sat down next to him, before laying down on the bed. She grabbed his arm and pulled him.
"I-I..I said before...T-that I...Didn't mind, so long as its you Bell…"
Bell was speechless as he felt himself being pulled down. His mind said to pull back but he didn't he just let himself be pulled in. Once his back hit the soft mattress he knew he was beaten.
His blush was bad but not as bad as Artemis who was redder then his eyes. She looked at him and placed a hand on his chest, he could hear her gulp.
"A-arent you going to…"
She looked away.
"Remove your shirt?"
Bell was flabbergasted as he tried to process her question. She was basically asking him to strip down… A thought that more then anything excited him.
He didn't say anything instead sitting up and grabbing the bottom of his shirt. Pulling it over his head and throwing it to the ground.
He decided to keep his trousers on it was safe.
"Better?"
"Yeah much better."
He moved up against her, she was against the wall but she didn't mind, turning over into his bare chest. A smile as her bare skin touched his filing her with that glorious warmth. It didn't take long for them to fall asleep. Both with large smiles on their faces.
