It seemed to be like any other morning at the hostess, Mia had started on breakfast and the girls worked on tidying up from the night before. However, there was a noticeable lack of chatter compared to other mornings. Even Chloe and Anya who would normally be the most talkative all throughout the day were keeping it to a minimum.
The reason? The grey-haired girl working in the back. She had been in a less than agreeable mood all morning. Not that she would show it, but her usual enthusiasm wasn't there at all. She still smiled and greeted them all but it just wasn't the same and everyone knew why.
"Has she said anything yet?"
Anya whispered as she passed by Chloe who shook her head, continuing to sweep the floors. Her tail swung to the right and pointed out Ryuu who was on the other side of the room cleaning the tables.
"Hopefully she isn't still mad at her…"
Anya nodded in agreement as she went about her duties, Meanwhile Mia was becoming annoyed by a less then enthusiastic Syr who was supposed to be washing the pots. She sighed and walked over to her.
"Still sulking from last night?"
Syr jumped in surprises and shook her head.
"Nooo, Why would you think that?"
She smiled before turning back to start her chores.
"You haven't spoken a word all morning, not even to Ryu… You can't hide it we all know what its about."
Mia sighed as she didn't even get a reply back, turning her back to the girl as she got on with her morning duties. She glimpsed over at the girl who had now stopped working altogether.
Syr stood over the remaining dishes, her usually happy face and cheerful expression were hidden behind a veil of sadness and jealousy. A tear formed in the corner of her eyes as she wiped them away with her sleeve. She turned the hot water on and waited for the sink to fill back up.
'First Aiz…. I could deal with her, she probably doesn't even realise what she's feeling. I just smile and play along all the while getting closer to Bell…'
She reached into hot soapy water, pulling another plate out, her hand was bright red and sore as the water scolded her skin. But she didn't care. She had never felt as much embarrassment or known defeat as she had last night.
'I was so close… And now… Now that blue-haired bitch has got her hands all over my Bell! If Ryuu hadn't of shocked me and I hadn't lowered my guard I'd have been the one sleeping with Bell!'
She clenched the side, furious as her thoughts turned towards the night's events. Even though she had failed she still went to check on him. Her annoyance at the goddess was nothing compared to what she saw. There she was sleeping with him, barely clothed and smiling as if she had just won first prize!
'I should have taken a page out of Ryuu's book and…'
She looked down to find she had finished cleaning the plate, she held it up and looked at her reflection, her lips forming into a smile.
'Still… It will make it all the more satisfying when he finally chooses me… Artemis, Aiz and even Ryuu… I'm sorry my friend but I won't let you or anyone else have him!'
Her smile only grew as she grabbed another plate from the sink.
'But… Maybe I can use that to my advantage? Yes, yes that will work…'
With that, she got back to her duties. The time slowly passed by as the morning sun came up. Mia asked one of them to go wake everyone up. Syr quickly looked over to Ryu and waved.
"Ryu do you mind… I've still got a lot to do down here?"
Ryu jumped at first but smiled. She had been worried all morning that her friend was still angry at her from last night, in fact, she worried she'd never forgive her at all for ruining her moment with Bell. However her usual cheerful voice shouted over and gave her some relief.
"Of course!"
She Cheerfully replied as she turned and headed for the stairs, Syr meanwhile watched from the doorway smiling.
'Be sure to get Bell up… And the little minx with him!"
Ryuu had quickly gotten to the top of the stairs and started knocking on each of the doors waiting for a response. First was Hestia and Artemis, She got a grunt of a response from one, no doubt Hestia from the childlike voice before moving over to the other side. The Loki Familia had taken a large portion of the rooms, She knocked on each one individually and informed them all that breakfast was waiting for them before turning to the final door.
She sighed and knocked twice waiting for a response. She did not receive one, she tried again but like last time didn't receive any response. She looked around, nobody had left their rooms yet… She was going to leave but stopped looking back at the door.
'Miss Syr would no doubt be annoyed further if Bell wasn't to get up with the rest… I also wouldn't want him to miss breakfast…'
She tried the door handle only to find it was locked, she normally would have left it and gone downstairs but she didn't. Instead she went against her better judgement, pulling out the spare key they all carried just in case. It was against her employment to disturb guests however she knew Bell well and hoped he wouldn't mind. She quietly turned the key and slowly opened the door being careful not to make any loud noises. She was graced with a dark room, the curtains were drawn and only the faintest of light spilled into the room. His quiet snores rested into her ears as a small blush formed on her face. She looked from the doorway at his bed, a heartbeat becoming noticeable.
'Bell…'
She slowly walked over to the bed each step getting closer and closer. She stopped as she found herself looking over him. His white hair had become messier then usual yet for its length it was already untamed. She leaned closer to look at him better. His calm sleeping face was a joy to look at, even for her. She could hear his light snores clearer and the faint sound of his breath escaping his lips.
'Bell…'
She clenched the side of the bed gripping the cover as she leaned closer to his face.
'Should I be doing this… What if Syr…'
He turned his head to the side, stopping for just a second before closing her eyes. Her lips were but millimetres from his cheek!
"Mmmmh Bell."
She stopped. A different voice let out a low joyful moan. It took a second to register that it wasn't Bell. A movement beside her hand made her curious as she moved back the covers to see who it was. Her heart sank as she looked at the sight before her.
'A-Artemis!'
The girl was barely clothed in fact closer to being naked as she curled up into Bell. He left hand was entangled with his as she held it close to her chest. Meanwhile her right was pressed against his chest. Ryu had seen the smile on her face. It was the one she only gave to Bell.
Speaking of which Bell he had his usual child like grin on his face. Ryu loved it even when the situation didn't call for it. His free hand was touching the girls face and the elf's look of jealousy only grew.
'No… No I can't watch this!'
She stepped back, clenching her chest as she looked to the door. A moment of regret filled her body as she looked back for a second time to be sure. Her eyes weren't lying and she slowly moved back till she had her hand on the handle. She sneakily peered out into the hall to make sure it was clear. Once she was sure she was safe she stepped out and closed the door behind her. However, once she heard it click and she locked it back up she found herself wishing she had never bothered. Her hand was still clenched on the handle as she looked towards the ground. Thankfully the sound of one the other doors opening snapped her into attention as she turned to greet them.
"Ahh good morning miss Wallenstien I hope you slept well."
The sword princess stretched her arms as she nodded looking over at elf. She had gotten used to seeing her in the morning. She was the same as she always was. Stoic and punctual to the point. However, she made a curious look over at the door she was standing by.
"Others staying as well?"
Ryu looked away from the door realising her mistake and nodding.
"Yes. Hestia and her Familia."
Ryu said this as she walked away from the door making sure to bow as she passed her. Aiz wanted to ask her which was Bell's room but was rudely stopped when another member of her Familia called out to her. Specifically a certain amber haired elf.
"Ohh good morning Aiz! I hope you slept well?"
Aiz nodded with a smile as they both followed Ryu downstairs.
'I'll just ask later...Maybe I'll see him at breakfast if he's still here.'
Hestia awoke with a groan. She didn't have a clue where she was or what the hell happened the night before. She clasped her head.
"Ughhh why can't our divine protections stop us getting hangovers!"
She pieced together what she could remember from after leaving the guild. Her and Hermes had found themselves at the hostess. Hermes had under some strain and help from Syr managed to let them stay at least till the guild found them some accommodation, after that she remembered him offering her a drink. Everything after that was a blur.
"Ughh I wonder if Artemis got up early?.. No, that girl has laid in every single day… Which means!"
She groaned as she rubbed the top of her head. A long and drawn out pain filled her head, instantly she regretted what ever lead up to that moment. However her first thought was on her missing friend.
"That girl... She's not even been in the Familia for a full day and she's casually sleeping with him… Doesn't she realise that's a privilege you have to earn."
She smiled for brief second before the pain came back with a vengeance, she knew something to eat would help so with a less then happy moan she climbed out of bed and stretched.
"She's gonna learn pretty quickly that she's not the only one that's taken a liking to him… But I'll let her have her fun for now, I swear for a girl that's supposed to hate men touching her she really likes sleeping with Bell."
She quickly throws on her white dress before heading to the door and downstairs. Before she reaches the bottom she made note that Bell and Artemis haven't gotten up. But took notice of where the sword princes and a few other Loki Familia members were sitting.
'Hmm guess the rumours that they all disappeared were untrue… Hopefully, they keep Wallenwhatsit away from Bell!'
As she reached the bottom of the stairs she was greeted by Syr announcing her arrival, Aiz and Lefiya turned to look but quickly looked away. Syr looked up the stairs as if she was waiting for someone else to come down.
"Is your friend not joining you?"
The fact that Syr didn't use Artemis name was a dead giveaway to most that she was still annoyed about her loss. However, Hestia was not aware of that so she was obviously trying to keep the piece. She was still working so she needed to respect her.
"Ohhh Artemis umm… No… she likes to have a lie in…"
She lied. The last thing she needed was to set off a bomb this early. Gods know how Aiz or any of the others will react to Bell and Artemis sleeping together.
Syr sighed, accepting her answer and heading back over to Ryuu.
"I forgot to ask, did you wake Bell?"
Ryuu looked away with a light blush on her face and shook her face. Syr gave her the strangest of look as she continued to push for an answer.
"Why not?"
Syr seemed a little upset, at least that was what Ryuu thought while trying to come up with a good excuse.
'I can't tell her what I saw… But I also can't lie to her…'
"Forgive me, he seemed so worn out, I didn't want to disturb him.…"
Syr accepted her answer and went into the back a smile on her face. Ryu meanwhile couldn't shake the scene from her head. But another part of her wondered if it was a nice feeling. She gripped her arm before getting on with her work.
'No Syr has claimed him… soo has Lady Artemis, I can't be thinking of that!'
Meanwhile, Hestia had sat at the other end of the bar and watched the stairs she waited for Bell and Artemis to come down. Mia handed her a plate and she set out to eat it in its entirety.
Bell was the first to wake up, strangely he was expecting to get woken up earlier as was the service offered if they wanted breakfast. His stomach growled in defiance believing he had missed a chance for food. However in typical fashion Bell found himself devouring something else. This time with is eyes.
"Mmmh Bell five more minutes…"
'I forgot about her…'
Artemis was now becoming a staple in his sleeping routine. Hestia wasn't even this persistent. He had a few drinks the night before but he could still remember the tug of war battle between her and Syr.
'D-did she do that intending for this?'
He didn't think about it too much the night before, he assumed she was making a valid point. However it wasn't the entire truth and even then she was being a lot more forceful than normal.
'Ughh perhaps I'm over thinking this…'

As he left his room he saw Syr coming up the stairs holding a bag of ice. He looked over and waved his hands.
"Sorry to make you do that Syr, It wasn't as bad as I thought."

"Ohh its fine Bell…. You should hurry if you want to catch breakfast"

He walked past her and slowly towards Hestia's room. He was about to knock and ask if Artemis was going to join him. As he made his way past the door he thought he heard his name coming from her room but he ignored it thinking it was his imagination. He walked downstairs and was greeted by Hestia.
"Goooood Morning Bell! Sleep well?"
He nodded.
"As well as I can given the situation…"
Out of the corner of his eye he saw the familiar golden hair of Aiz sitting at the counter along with four others. He realised quickly who they were the two elf's and Amazons were quite hard to forget.
"ARGONAUT!"
Tiona noticed him first shooting to her feet and waving. This drew the attention of the rest and between them he was getting mixed responses.
Tiona and Aiz smiled brightly at him, while both Tione and Riveria ignored him. Finally the young elf girl Lefiya, Bell had run into a couple times in the past and she still gave him the cold dead stare. He smiled nervosly as he waved back at them, he quickly made his way over to his goddess before being handed a plate of food from Mia. Before she left him to his meal he looked at both of them.
"Your other child not coming down to eat?"
Hestia made a quick look at Bell and shrugged.
"I don't know… maybe. Please just keep it warm."
Mia nodded heading into the back, Hestia quickly looked around to make sure nobody was listening to them.
"Speaking of our newest recruit where is she, don't tell me you left her sleeping in your bed all alone?"
He didn't know which bothered him more. Hestia when she was clingy or now when she's teasing him. He gulped as she leaned in for an answer.
"No she went back to your room…"
"Don't tell me your embarrassed Bell? It seems you two have been sleeping together quiet a bit these last few days?"
'How does she know that!'
She had an evil smile on her face as she leaned over to his ear.
"I don't mind what you get up to Bell but remember she is still my friend and child I expect you to keep it professional!"
Her mixture of teasing and cold dead seriousness left him worried for his life. He looked worried but tried to not draw attention to there conversation.
"I promise its not like that… It's just…"
Hestia scoffed his food while he wasn't paying attention leaving Bell shocked when he found his plate empty…
"We both know what you mean Bell.. Gods you two are far too innocent for that… Any ways your planning to accompany her to meet her advisor yes?"
Bell nodded.
"Do we know who she has?"
Bell again nodded.
"Eina same as me"
Hestia was happy they both had Eina, it made things easier and she had a soft spot for Bell so she'll probably let him sit in with her… I mean they are in the same Familia and team now. Bell nodded and looked at what remind of his stolen breakfast. He made do with the bread and beans…
'She could have at least left me one piece of something else…'
It was then that Artemis finally made her arrival, to the Loki Familia it was only Aiz that, paid any attention to her, she watched her slowly make her way over to Bell and his goddess. However it didn't take long for another to pick up interest.
"Hey who's that sitting next to Bell?"
Tiona looked over Lefiya's shoulder seeing the blue-haired girl taking her place next to Bell, she seemed to be in aww at her. Aiz meanwhile scoffed as she looked away.
"She's nobody important…"
Tiona and Riveria raised an eye brow each to the girls comment. It wasn't like her to say such comments or hell comment on other people.
'If Aiz didn't care she'd have ignored the comment all together, no she specifically has something against this girl…'
Tiona on the other hand took a different approach….
"Well she certainly doesn't look like a nobody besides she seems close to Argonaut… Ohhh did he get a girlfriend while we were gone?"
Aiz dropped her fork momentarily shocked by the girls comment, but before she could be caught she started coughing making it seem like she swallowed something wrong.
"Hmmm I'd be a little jealous if she is… I was hoping to have a little fun with him firs… Ouch!"
She felt a something clap her head, turning to see Riveria's hand raised with a disapproval.
"Enough of that talk, I'm eating I don't want to think what you'd do to that poor boy!"
Riviera quietly continued watching them from a distance but also kept and eye on Aiz, she knew about her secret crush on the boy, She also knew her reluctance to mention it due to Loki's disdain for him. There talk at the hot springs was more than enough to see that.
'Ughh that little girl from long ago is finally growing up… However she's gonna learn she's gonna have to fight for the things she wants. Even those closest to her!'
Even Lefiya who had been minding her own business was now drawn into the conversation
she peered over at Bell and the girl next to him and scoffed.
"Ughhh why do we have to talk about that idiot of a boy any ways, I don't see what you see in him Tiona he's just a reckless pervert!"
Tiona and Tione burst out laughing.
"Haha what's wrong Lefiya your not jealous of him to huh?"
The two amazonians leaned in on both sides as they locked her in a hug. The poor elf girl struggled to break free as she denied everything they asked. Especially if it involved Bell. The whole Familia laughed at the elf's suffering.
Artemis had taken the free seat next to Bell, how greeted her with a large smile as she sat down, Hestia also greeted her as such but seemed more interested in her breakfast. Artemis shot her a warning look. Saying just try it!.
However even Bell noticed this as he sadly looked at his empty plate, Hestia smiling joyfully.
"You should have been keeping an eye on it Bell your to careless when it comes to your food."
He nodded defeatedly a low growl from his stomach. As he rested his head into his hand. Artemis on the other hand realised what Hestia had done and kindly offered to share her breakfast with him.
"Here Bell have some of mine,"
Bell looked down at her plate and shook his head.
"N-no I can't its yours I couldn't…"
Artemis smiled and shook her head.
"Please I don't mind besides We both gonna need our strength for today right?"
Her cheerful and care free attitude won Bell over as he nodded as the two shared the breakfast. Hestia looked over in aww at her child.
"Aww you never share your food with me… Why does Bell get such special treatment."
Hestia leaned closer but got the same glare from Artemis only this time she wasn't joking as she backed off.
"Because Bell wouldn't attempt to steal it first!"
Hestia gulped as she back away. She left them to finish before she discussed anything further. As the two ate they were unaware to the jealous looks they were getting from all corners of the pub. Aiz, Tiona, Syr and surprisingly Ryu if only briefly.
'Maybe I have to be a little more forwards...'
Aiz looked down as she tried to ignore the two growing closer. Meanwhile Syr had gone into the back as she disliked the sight… When the two finished she explained the plan for the day. Bell and Artemis would go see Eina and afterwords, if they have time Bell would show her the first floor of the dungeon. After that they would meet back up with Hestia to discuss the plan for the wargame.
"You two okay with that?"
They both nodded, Bell and Artemis went upstairs to grab their gear and Hestia headed out wishing them luck. Loki Familia took notice of the conversation and deduced the situation.
"So Hestia finally got someone else to join her Familia, that's nice, but damn a wargame huh I don't envy Bell at all…"
"Apollo huh… Figures he'd be the type to stamp on the weak, but he always seemed so cautious around the goddess…"
Tiona looked down as she took a moment to think of the boys situation.
"There's no way he can win on his own and even if he has a new member she's still new!"
Riviera nodded and got to her feet as she sighed.
"Unfortunately its not for us to worry about. Our biggest concern should be finding the others, and our Goddess! We can't be worrying about another Familia's fate when our own hangs in the balance…"
Tiona was about to say something but she knew better and accepted the fact. Aiz was conflicted she wanted to help Bell but she also knew it wasn't possible at this time. She had her own family to worry about and now her faith was renewed that more could be found.
'I'm sorry Bell… I hope you can forgive me!'
Bell and Artemis had finally arrived at the guildhall and were greeted by Eina, who was slightly surprised to learn that Artemis was going to be working with Bell. She informed Bell that normally she'd speak with Artemis alone but since she knew Bell and they were in the same party and Familia she made an exception she showed them both to one of the booths in the back.
"Its a pleasure to meet you Artemis, My name is Eina I'll be your advisor from now on."
The half elf bowed, while laying out some papers. Bell remembered his first talk, she went on and on about the dangers of the dungeon, what levels an adventure should and shouldn't go to and what monsters they should train on. Nothing had changed as he felt like he was reliving a distant memory. He sat in the corner and watched Artemis absorb all the information like he had once done. He admitted it kept him alive but damn was it boring to listen too.
'I suppose I'll be there to help her. There's also Welf and Lili. I still need to introduce Lili… I hope she takes kindly to her.'
Artemis meanwhile took in the information carefully, she wasn't new to fighting monsters far from it and most the earlier creatures she had seen and fought before. However that wasn't what bothered her. No it was the dungeon itself, gods weren't allowed to enter it and its long corridors and dead ends were bound to be filled with traps or dangers just waiting to pounce.
After Eina had finished she let out a sigh and looked over at a particular white-haired boy.
"But considering your in the party of the current record holder for level two and three I'd be more worried about you taking things to fast!"
Bell looked away from her as he scratched his cheek.
"Ughh seriously Bell, I know you'll protect her but please understand I've been given a lot of strict advice not to let her take on anything to reckless. She is still a goddess of heaven even if the guild and gods haven't classified her as such."
She knew trying to convince Bell to go slow was hard even at the best of times her advice went in one ear and out the other. He managed to get himself into more and more dangerous situations by the day.
"Please at least for the first few days take things slowly, Perhaps it would be best to show her the first two floors at best, no lower… and I'd recommend it be just the two of you. She needs the most experience out of your entire party so it is best to let her train while you watch her back."
Bell nodded he understood that it was best to ease her into this. Even though she has experience fighting monsters all it takes is a mistake and that's it. He didn't plan to let that happen but he also wasn't going to be able to protect her back all the time. The dungeon was a taxing place after all.
"I promise to take care of her…"
Eina sighed.
"Yes I'm sure you will Bell but remember that should anything happen to her both your and my asses are on the line…"
Artemis was starting to understand the situation a little. She maybe itching to get started but it was clear that she was special case. Even if the guild accepted her position the death of a god will still be used against them. She knew that Bell was taking on a bigger risk then he may have expected.
"I promise to take things slowly miss Eina, I may not look it but I've hunted monsters before I know better then most not to underestimate them…"
Eina looked down and nodded.
"I'm sure still so long as you understand… If you were in any other party I would have them lectured on keeping you safe... But I know and trust Bell to know that already."
Bell rubbed the back of his head as the half elf usual look when he did or planed to do something reckless.
"Bell I'm sorry to ask but would you mind giving us a minute? I want to ask her a few things that the guild has asked be kept private."
Bell nodded getting to his feet and left the room. Eina sighed and started to packing away her papers before turning back to Artemis.
"So I think I should make a couple things clear about Bell… He's well… He's kind but also reckless I don't want to leave a bad impression but…
Artemis could see the conflict within her. She decided to let the women speak freely before making any assumptions.
"T-theres a reason he holds the record for level 2… He went about fighting creatures way above his level and skill. Yet he managed to succeed. I say this but I'm not supposed to mention it. Bell actions are admirable and reckless. If most adventures tried what he did they'd be dead in a matter of days…"
She placed her hands together and sighed.
"I shouldn't be discussing this with you but your safety is the utmost importance."
She smiled lifting the mood as she got to her feet.
"I know Bell, he's caring and strong. He'll keep you safe… You couldn't ask for a better companion!"
Artemis smiled
"I can't deny that… He really is something special."
The two bowed and left the room. Eina asked if Bell wanted to discuss anything but he hadn't so she let them get off.
"Remember I'm here most days and evenings if you need to talk just ask for me…"
Both of them nodded waving goodbye. Eina smiled as she turned to find her pink haired friend coming towards her.
"So that's the goddess adventurer? And she's part of your favourites group. Not jealous are we?"
Eina clipped the girls head.
"Enough of that. I couldn't be happier for him, you've read no doubt? She'll be good for him…"
Misha nodded.
"True but Hermes reported differently.. If anything happens to her who knows how he'll react…"
Daedalus street.
"So we can finally move about freely? You know without getting randomly attacked?"
Regis sat in the chair and nodded to his friend as he took a swig from the nearby mug of ale. He laughed hearterly as he raised his hand.
"Haha how many times do I have to say it yes. Freya has extended her protection to all of us. While I haven't disclosed your identity you have nothing to fear. As for me and Luna we are no freely able to wander around without questions."
Void sighed.
"Ohh how nice for you two. So while you and her can freely enjoy the luxuries of the city with having to hide. I'm forced to keep wearing this blasted mask!"
It was obvious to Regis that his friend wasn't to happy as he removed his own mask finally able to see the man's smug grin.
"I know your upset void but please for now deal with it! I'm waiting for the best moment and right now is not the right time… Just a while longer…"
Void sank back into his chair waving the man's comment off.
"Yeah yeah, I'll shoulder the burdens for now while you mess about with Freya…"
Regis looked at his friend…
"Your still salty about that aren't you!"
Void again waved off the comment.
"Me? Nooo… Believe it or not I prefer a woman that plays hard to get! I wouldn't dream of being jealous that you slept with one of if not the most beautiful goddess in this world!"
Regis burst out laughing unable to retain it.
"Haha sarcasm is unbecoming of you Void but don't worry perhaps you could drop yourself at her feet and beg… As I learned first hand, she sure does like that…"
He looked around and leaned over.
"You might get your chance soon… As per our agreement I have to lend her one of you two…"
"And by one of us you really just mean me?"
Regis nodded.
"Glad to see your up for it. Unfortunately Luna is going to be joining a different familia, and I don't fancy being bound to another one of the gods… Even one as delightful as her…"
"I don't mind I take it that when I do have to join I'll be free of this dreaded mask?"
Regis shrugged.
"That depends on Freya, she may decided that she like you wearing it. But I doubt that very much… I'm sure she'll take quite the liking to you!"
With a the mood lifted the two clanked there mugs as they finished of their drinks. Laughter filing every corner of the room.
"Soo I suppose I should refer to you a Regis now? Going to get take some getting used to, Even calling Whisper by her birth name is going to cause some problems."
Regis shook his head.
"We'll be having a little less contact with her soon…"
Void placed his drink down leaning forward with curiosity.
"You keep mentioning this other familia? Come on who is it?"
"You'll find out later… I doubt she'll be happy when she finds out, in fact knowing her we'll be lucky to get out with our fingers!"
Both men gulped as they heard the door open behind them as they slowly turned to see a small girl enter the room. She gave them a piercing glare.
"Fancy enlightening me on what you two were just talking about?"
She cracked her fist as she walked closer to them both men jumped to their feet as they slowly backed up.
"Now, Luna I can explain…"
"Yeah he can explain now if you excuse me!"
Regis grabbed the man by his robe and pulled him back.
"Ohhh no your not!"
Both took a moment to pray as the girl made her way over to them.
The citizens of Orario were a blaze with high spirits and large smiles but something was different, they had a skip in there step a look of disbelief one that could be described as seeing true love at first sight. The women swore as men dropped to their knees. their bodies filled with bliss as they watched with joyful grins.
One look was all it took and they were following like loyal hounds, protecting there master at all cost or in this case mistress. Tongues stuck out and slobbered as they observed the beauty before them. The women knew what this meant and they were powerless to stop it.
"A goddess of beauty!"
One woman called out as they all scrambled to close the doors and hide their men, for no one was safe. However, this one was not known to the people of Orario. No, she was new, strange and demanded attention.
"Ohh, such loyal boys!"
This mysterious goddess turned to her followers as she licked her lips and stood high above them and looked down on their wish filled faces. A wink caused some to faint while others clenched there chests ready to give out.
"Please goddess… Just a.."
She leaned down.
"Shhh."
She placed a finger on his lips and a moment of excitement-filled the man's body as his nose started to run red. He gulped and nodded.
"God boy. Now tell me, I'm looking for someone… A girl blue-haired, elegant yet arrogant, smart but stubborn. A beautiful sapphire with a gaze that could kill a man…"
One of the men nodded.
"T-the guild, she's with a white-haired boy!"
She smiled returning to her overbearing stance. She clicked her fingers and they all sat waiting.
"You stand up!"
The man nodded and got to his feet he gulped as she moved closer to him. Her golden locks swaying in the wind as she moved to his side.
"Since you were the first to answer, you get a reward."
She placed a kiss on his cheek, the man's face went a shade of dark crimson and he fainted almost instantly. She placed a hand on her lips and looked at the other jealous men.
"Now be good boys and start looking... The man that leads me to her will receive an even greater reward…"
They didn't need any more convincing as they all crowded her to show her towards the guildhall, She laughed as she watched the many jealous women of Orario stare at her. But just like the men around her, a single wink and they were left wanting…
"Artemis… Let our battle of ideals continue, I will finally prove that love triumphs over all!"

Chater 42 down and done. Ohh boy might need to tone down the BellxArtemis a little. Things are getting a little too hands-on. However the chapter severs its purpose and we'll diving into the dungeon next chapter, But who knows maybe this mysterious Goddess could through a wrench in that plan hmmm. As of last night i officially reach 200 favriotes which has filled me with such joy. My efforts have been renewed!
