The Signers other than Jack, Romin, Yuga, Luke, Gavin, and Roa were all together having just seen a Rush Duel. And right now Romin, and Yuga were talking to Leo that their not together.
"I told you I'm not an idiot." Leo told them again. "You two are super close, everyone here could see how happy you make each other and that's a good thing."
"That was only because of the match." Yuga pointed out to him, "She's not my girlfriend, and I don't see her that way."
Leo looked at him in disbelief before turning to Yusei. "You saw it right, Romin was happier dueling Yuga than anybody else."
"Honestly, I think it's because she haven't had a Rush Duel in a while." Yusei admitted to him, "If you haven't dueled in a while would you be excited to get back into it?"
Leo opened his mouth at that only to pause. "Well, that's true..."
"See Leo?" Luna asked him.
Leo just blushed slightly at that.
"Well, I do want to ask you something." Yusei mentioned turning to Yuga. "What was that monster you played?"
"Plus Yuga would've given her a kiss if he really was with her like that which we didn't see either of them do." Luke added with crossed arms, and closed eyes.
Yuga turned to him before asking, "You mean Magnum Overlord?"
"Yeah." Yusei nodded.
Yuga at that looks at his Deck pulling out the three showing them, "Their Maximum Monsters. It's something that came out a while back.
Yusei took the cards looking at them. "A monster broken into three pieces? It reminds me of Exodia or Gate Guardian."
"Well this was came up with by our new friend Nail Saionji, the Dueling Overseer of Goha Enterprises." Gavin started to explain, "He created it to go onto a high mark with his "providence", and he gave that small edit for Yggdrago the Sky Emperor. After losing the first time, Yuga had created his own Maximum to combat Nail by using our ID Cards."
"ID cards?" Luna asked. "You mean like a school ID?"
Romin opened her Duel Disk showing Luna her ID Card which has her picture, and name on it, "They can be remade into Maximum Monsters with Yuga's program: Real-Time Duel Programming, which rewrites the cards into Maximums."
"Do you all have Maximum Monsters?" Akiza asked them.
"Nope, don't need them." Gavin answered.
"Not really my thing." Luke admitted.
"Not for me." Roa added.
"No, I don't." Romin finished.
She nodded hearing that.
"Well it could definitely come in handy." Yusei mentioned. "Especially after what Goodwin told us."
Yuga then grinned to Yusei, "Hey, mind if I see that dragon you got?"
Yusei took out Stardust Dragon before handing it to Yuga. Yuga takes it giving it a look, "Ah, I haven't seen a real Synchro in a long time! Perfect test subject."
With that he takes out a small button pressing it before Kaizo appeared surprising everyone who hasn't seen him before Kaizo turned to the young boy, "Yuga?"
"Kaizo activate, Road Card Alternator!" Yuga grinned at this.
At that Kaizo's bottom slot opened which Yuga slipped the card in before Kaizo hummed a bit working abroad as they watched wondering what he's doing. Soon Kaizo's eyes opened, "Done."
The regular card slipped as Yuga takes it as he sees it looks fine before another new card exit which Yuga takes handing them both to Yusei, "The new card might help in a long run."
Yusei looked at the two cards. It was his regular Stardust Dragon but the second card surprised him.

"Huh?" Yuga asked surprised seeing that before snapping his fingers, "Still incomplete."
"Well, what do we do now?" Leo asked uncertainly.
"That's what we will have help decide on." Roa answered at that.
"And I still need to work on the Card Alternator to make sure that won't keep happening." Yuga added at this.
They nodded at that before walking off. Romin walked beside Leo taking his hand smiling to him. He blushed. "Romin I..."
Shaking his head he just looked down.
"What's wrong?" Romin asked him seeing that.
"... Sorry." he whispered.
"Oh don't worry about it. I'm not bothered." Romin assured him.
Leo blushed at that and looked down again.
"Plus, I think Yuga will certainly help you Rush Duel." Romin grinned to him.
Leo nodded at that. "It looked really cool."
"So what do we do now?" Gavin asked them, "We can't wait for these Dark Signers to show up."
"Well right now we don't know where they are now. We gotta figure out our next move." Yusei answered before saying, "Luna, do you think you, and Leo can keep Yuga, Gavin, Roa, Romin, and Luke with you two?"
"It might be a little crowded, but I think so." Luna nodded.
"Akiza you should held back home. We will inform you of anything we find." Yusei said to her before turning then saying, "I'll be keeping an eye on Jack, and try to improve my Runner for it to be ready."
"Be careful Yusei." Luna whispered.
He nodded to her walking off just as the twins with the others (And Romin looking at Akiza for a little before following them), arriving back the twin's house.
"Oh the Penthouse." Roa said his reaction walking in with a grin before turning around spreading his arms, "Just like back home but Romin?"
"This isn't our crib this time Roa, we're only guests." Romin reminded her cousin with an eye roll but has a small smile.
"Yeah, but you're our guests. Make yourselves at home." Luna smiled.
"Good." Roa pulls out a Guitar Case (out of nowhere), and opens it pulling out his guitar with a grin.
Luna blinked.
"Where did that come from?" Leo asked him.
"Some questions are best left not answered..." Gavin said to him leaning close before he then proceeded to scold Roa, "Roa, they will not appreciate you playing your guitar here!"
"She said, to make myself at home, and that's what I'm doing." Roa countered that with a grin preparing his Guitar before doing a sound test which sounded good to hear.
Luna blushed. "Wow, that... sounded really nice."
Roa only grinned to her before starting small guitar solo to her while keeping up the tempo a bit before ending with a high note. Luna was blushing brighter at that. Romin was blinking a bit as she sees this before suddenly grinning before suggesting to Roa, "Hey Roa why not you show us what your working on?"
"Oh really?" Roa asked hearing that before shrugging, "Well all right it's still a working piece."
"You're working on something?" Luna asked him.
Roa starts to play a expert solo on his guitar in rapid succession with a grin focusing a bit with closed eyes his hand trailing over the notes expertly. Luna's blush got brighter as he did.
"Whoa, he's really good." Leo whispered.
After a few more seconds of his solos he finishes over with 3 fast notes with a grin looking at them.
"Show-off..." Luke shrugged his arms shaking his head while Gavin sighed a bit while Romin smiled a bit, and Yuga just grinned.
"Luna?" Leo asked turning to her as she blushed but nodded.
"Roa, Romin?" she asked nervously. "Could... we hear you two play together?"
Romin looked surprised while Roa grinned, "Hey not a bad idea there! We might not have Toombs, or Tyler Getz here but we're pretty good without them. Here Romin." He hands her his guitar while she blinks before he takes out a microphone that was in the Guitar case.
Leo and Luna both smiled seeing that.
"Ya ready?" Roa grinned to her which she smiled nodding before Romin started to strum some music on the guitar while Roa makes some sounds with his feet on the floor as a way to mimic drums waiting for his cue while his head moves to the beat.
Soon when his cue was signaled by her he started singing.
Yuga, Luke, and Gavin smiled while Leo and Luna started blushing brightly. While not singing Roa moves his feet, and claps to make extra music on Romin strums the guitar a bit with a grin before making a loud note to show some moments of breaks before starting again on a solo while Roa sings more. Soon Roa finishes while Romin finishes the guitar play.
"Wow." Leo and Luna whispered together in awe.
"There pretty good aren't they?" Yuga asked them with a grin, "Roa was actually our first major adversary when Rush Duels became a thing."
Luna looked surprised. "What do you mean?"
Yuga proceeded to explain to them. First was when he was trying to install Rush Duels, and opening his Duel Disk was prohibited by Goha Enterprises but he still does it to make Dueling not so serious which resulted in him getting 5 penalties, and if he gets 1 more his account will be banned. Gavin when he arrived at School, started to lecture him about that while Luke watches, and Romin at the time was pretending to never duel at all.
Soon after hearing of an urban legend they all headed where they encountered the man responsible for numerous things, a masked man called Otes, who was a former Duel Designer that was also dissatisfied, and tried to lift spirits up in a tournament years ago but was disqualified for being an Employee but given Yuga his Sevens Road Magician card trusting him with it. The urban legends involves Otes where they must prove to be the 'King of Duels' which Luke tried to get but got penalized completely.
Yuga after encountering Otes done his first Rush Duel with him that also involved Otes using Blue-Eyes White Dragon before Yuga pulled a turn around. After mentioning several irrelevant parts their onto the topic where Romin was sent to spy on them by Roa to discover the secrets on Rush Duels for Roa to take them for himself, and due to Sevens Road Magician, Roa had done a strategy to when Yuga draws it he will be disqualified which will cause his team to lose. Luckily at the time Yuga done it Otes appeared, and restored the card's data to make it legal, and both Yuga, and Roa agreed to duel under the banter of the 'King of Duels' which Yuga defeated Roa, and won the Team Match to decide who would own Rush Dueling.
"That... wow." Leo whispered.
"So after that we made up, and Romin apologized to us afterward, and Roa became a good friend." Yuga finished with a shrug, and a grin, "Luke had a trust issue at first until Romin managed to make him Dragias Curry for him."
"That's cool." Luna smiled.
"But of course after that came our second adversary, Nail." Luke said with his hands behind his head with closed eyes.
"You mentioned him." Leo remembered.
This time it was Gavin that explained it.
After the small incident involving Romin blowing up the kitchen with the Dragias Curry (which was embarrassing for her), they later learned that Kaizo's data gotten stolen by something. After chasing a fake AI in a restaurants their worries over Kaizo were temporarily forgotten by deciding to get lunch with Luke eating too much which results in the bill being outrageous from a special being over before then so as a result they had to pay back their debt by doing dishes under the supervision of probably one of the most intolerable people they encountered Buff Grimes who is really touchy about cleaning, and after Romin accidentally breaks a ton of plates Grimes declared their bill went up higher, and said they can pay better by Rush Duel cards declaring them as a 'stain to the Dueling World'.
He stops explaining for a moment to see the twin's reactions.
"A stain, what kind of person would say that?" Luna asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, it sounds and looked really awesome." Leo agreed.
"Yeah he's really terrible..." Yuga admitted with a shrug, "He's so touchy."
Gavin proceeded to keep explaining.
Romin accepts Grimes' offer, and proceeds to duel him where during his turns he was washing his Duel Disk after setting cards, and reveals them to be the same spell three times which made them realize that he was actually cheating, using him wiping his Duel Disk as an excuse for that. Luckily Luke, and Mimi (who they explained was a transfer student of there's) came in, and Luke using his "Devil Luke" powers manages to stop Grimes' use of cheating any further, but his cause of celebration snapped a cord in Romin proceeding her to using her 'red eyes' power against Grimes defeating him viciously. Despite the duel won, Grimes refuses to tell them even though he did it unintentionally behind a door, and brags they don't have the key which then opened much to his shock. When they entered Grimes started to apologize drastically to someone as the door closes, and they turned their attention to someone in a chair where he introduces himself as "Nail Saionji"
Hearing that Luna's eyes widened. "Wait, Romin... are you the fifth Signer?"
"That's true, maybe you were supposed to come back in time." Leo agreed. "I mean... time travel has to happen for a reason right?"
"Uh, no not really. That just comes under certain ways... Me losing my patience, or me being really hungry." Romin answered blushing a bit, "I'm trying to duel better without that."
Leo nodded at that before grinning. "Luke?"
"What?" Luke asked him hearing that.
Leo was grinning. "Do you want to have a duel?"
This surprised them before Luke grinned at this, "Alright, then I'll not hesitate on King Luke stomping ya!"
Leo only grinned hearing that.
"Leo are you sure? Luke's the only duelist among us that never lost." Romin informed him.
"Well yeah, but it could still be fun." Leo smiled. "Plus, if he's that good I'll probably get better if I duel him right?"
With that they headed up to the rooftop with Luke grinned at Leo.
"Who goes first?" Leo asked curiously.
"You go on." Luke answered.
Leo nodded with a grin.
"DUEL!" they called together.

Celfon's chest beeped over several numbers stopping at 4. Leo looked at the cards before nodding. "I Special Summon Morphtronic Staplen in defense position."

"By sending three dragons from my hand to the graveyard, every monster on the field gets obliterated!" Luke grinned discarding three cards while large meteors rained on the field.
Leo's eyes widened in shock as his monsters shattered.
"Then since a monster was destroyed, Dragonic Pressure's other effect allows me to summon a Level 4 or lower from back from the graveyard in Defense Mode!" Luke grinned taking a card from his graveyard, "So I'll summon my level 3 Sportsdragon Slugger!"
At that a dragonic man rose up readying with a bat.

Leo blinked before drawing his cards.
"Then you take 100 points of damage for every card in your hand!" Luke grinned to Leo as Nightbringer charged an attack, "Night in Gale!"
Nightbringer fired the attack at Leo. The attack hit as Leo winced.

"I set 1 card!" Luke sets before calling, "Nightbringer Dragon attack him directly!"
Nightbringer Dragon at that charged a second blast firing at Leo.
"Not so fast, I play a trap card." Leo countered. "Morphtronic, Scramble! This negates your attack and lets me summon Morphtronic Remoten from my hand."

Luke at this cups his chin looking over which to pick before selecting, "The one on your right."
Leo grinned at that. "You picked Megamorph, and I equip Power Tool Dragon with it."

"And there goes Luke's winning streak." Gavin said seeing that.
"It's most likely do to our Decks not being accustomed to regular matches." Yuga only shrugged from this.
"That might be it." Romin admitted. "Akiza and Sayer helped me with my deck when I got here."
Luke stood up with crossed arms with a pout having closed eyes.
"Are you ok?" Leo asked walking over to him.
"He's fine Luke. He's not a good sore loser apparently." Romin shrugged with a agitated shake of her head.
"How am I suppose to be the King of Duels if I lose them huh?" Luke asked her impatient at that.
"You lost one match, it's not the end of the world." Gavin told him in annoyance.
Suddenly Luna's eyes widened as her mark began glowing.
"Luna?" Romin asked seeing that while Roa looks at it surprised having not seen the mark's effects.
"Something's wrong, I think Yusei's in danger you guys." she said nervously looking at her mark.
"How can you tell?" Roa asked hearing that.
"Does it matter?" Leo asked. "If Yusei's in trouble we need to help him."
"Yeah let's hurry over!" Yuga agreed at this.
With that they all ran off to try and find Yusei.
Ulrich362: Ok, to get the obvious question out of the way immediately yes, for now Romin is the only SEVENS character who can hold her own in a normal duel but that will change over time right Bopdog?
bopdog111: Yeah, for now their Decks are at a disadvantage.
Ulrich362: Of course the opposite is also true, the 5ds cast would be at a significant disadvantage in Rush Duels so there's that. With that said though next up Leo, Luna, Romin, and the others will learn what happened to Yusei. See you in the next chapter.
