"In Gotham City, revenge is just as normal as blood that courses threw the veins. Shredder having history of getting payback at his enemies has been either to handle manners that revolve the Foot Clan, or that of being personal when it came to his past coming back after him. This time it was personal seeing how not only the same mutants he gifted the mutagen decided to go against him and turning his daughter in a mate, but having a clown beat him in the most humiliating manner. What he was doing right now was a lesson to anyone that if they crossed his path, they'd pay the price. As well learn what makes him different to every villain that is shown in the city, which is bringing out the fear from people that face him."

Harley and Ivy's Legion of Doom Base-Night Time

With the mind of Baxter Stockman now explored and understanding the plan that involved Shredder infiltrated Gotham's electoral office and becoming mayor. He was using the resources from the city and Frank to possibly resurrect a army of undead people to takeover Gotham, as well bring back the one monster that would be suitable to lead them.

"He wants to bring back Joker? Why the fuck would he do that?!"

Harley shouted at the fly along bashing the table by her side since in effort to get back at her and the gang. Shredder did a research on her history as well saw in order to torment her, he'd bring back someone that made her life a living hell along made her feel like nobody to everyone.

"Shredder believed that after what you did he began to research about the corruption and history that Gotham had. As well see what was the one thing he could torment you and the others. So after a few bribes and people dying he took office, then took office and used the resources to finance the experiment."

Baxter explaining while hiding behind June since she seemed the least scariest amongst the group. Everyone took a moment to think how insane the plan was, which basically bringing back Joker after three years along possibly sending him after them.

"But it's still bullshit. Because Frank can't resurrect people, just dead plants. I might bring live to plants but I'm not crazy to bring back people since they would be deteriorated and decayed."

Ivy responding to the scientist since when she worked on Frank and the Eden project she made several counter measures to make sure nothing else came back. However Baxter merely buzzed a bit seeing how the last part might have been 'changed'.

"Dude. Not cool."

Bebop stating since if the fly mutant changed Frank's DNA to bring back people from the dead mixed with his plant powers then the outcome would be unpredictable. Just as they were blaming Baxter and calming Ivy down before she could strangle him, June's eyes began to glow green as Enchantress took over along looked at the fly.

"You pathetic nutty professor knock off! You've disrupted the balance of life and death!"

Shouting in anger and rushing over to choke him. Though Clayface managed to stop her as well trying to not hurt June since Enchantress was right now taking over, flying behind Bebop and Rocksteady. Harley and Ivy could tell that Shredder's plan was happening, meaning they had to check on the news to see what was going on. Rushing over to the lobby they had Sy turning on the monitor where they saw the news coming on.

"Romero's beard, it's attack of the veggie zombies!"

Clayface shouting at the sight seeing how the buildings had been engulfed by plant life along the undead who were half undead and plant based. The strange part was them barfing black ink from their mouths which caused more people to become plant zombies.

"Stockman. Your real piece of work aren't ya?"

Bebop asking the fly as they soon heard a door banging on the side which had them frightened. Grabbing anything around them they got hesitate about what might be outside, Sy sliding the doors open knew who it was as the group saw both a wounded Karai and Shinigami covered in thorns and appearing they'd escape a war.

"Babe!"

The warthog cried out concern for her since he had grown fond of her as well shocked to see Karai in this state. While the others would tease him about the name calling, they merely helped out seeing that this was an emergency and had no time to be screwing about.

"We saw the graves in Gotham City cemetery acting up. My father was there, along the dead rising. And one of them by his side was some mutant snake creature with wooden skin and green hair, while laughing at the killing he was doing."

The ninja woman telling them as the group merely shuttered that it was too late, Joker has been resurrected and now spreading like an actual plague across Gotham City. Checking on the news they saw the plant zombies continuing to cause trouble along to terrorize its people. It was a shocking sight for the group to see since they couldn't believe that Ivy's plan had now become a city destroying pandemic.

"Not wanting to put anymore trouble in the blender, but we've got more to add in the mix."

Sy stating on the monitor as he changed the screen which showed another shocking sight which was none other than the Batwing. Meaning Batman was handling the matter along his team handling the situation. They were taking out the undead as well getting the people to safety.

"I guess that problem is taken care of. I guess it be optional to remain here and.."

Before Baxter could suggest they remain in this disclosed location since it seemed well guarded and hidden. Ivy soon grabbed his neck in a aggressive manner as everyone were spooked at how fast she went towards him. Her eyes glowed green seeing how her friend was being used as a weapon along her plan was being corrupted by a ninja master who's getting back at them by bringing up her wife's dead boyfriend and now mayor of her home.

"If you were so fucking smart. Then you should know that one, Shredder came here and might possibly come and kill us all. Two, those cosplaying bats are going blame me for this shit and right now I need to take my anger out on someone, which apparently is you."

Explaining that while they could remain here in the base they'd still be tracked down by the Foot and Batman since the city all pointed at Ivy since this was her type of scene. Though as Ivy continued to hold the fly, they noticed how outside the way she reacted made the tree's grow bigger along flowers and everything else growing at incredible speed.

"What if you can use it?"

Shinigami asking the others as the villains turned to the ninja witch about what she was talking about. Letting go of Baxter and giving Shinigami her attention, Ivy tried to put the pieces together on what she meant by that notion.

"If they came from the ground much like your creation Frank, wouldn't be possible to control them? More or less extract the essence that was deep within the creatures."

Thinking how if Shredder forced Frank to give his DNA into each of the zombies, it would be possible to remove it and reverse the side effects. However it wasn't exactly a well thought out idea since Ivy didn't know if she could even manipulate plant based zombies, let along of how Stockman had tampered with Frank's genetic code.

"Maybe because the last time she connected to the green, she almost let loose mother earth in the swamps. There's no way in hell I'll let them screw with her."

Harley responding to the idea since when she first saw how Ivy let loose her actual power at Swamp Thing, it was looking at someone else. Someone that could take on Gotham all by herself with no one able to stop her at the same time. Taking a moment to herself and looking at the news, she could almost feel thousands of people's voices threw the plants screaming in pain. Much like the plants that had been brought out to become creatures of destruction.

"Shredder is getting back at all of us. You banging his daughter, you defying him. And us for being the only ones without ninja training to take him out. And now he's doing all this to draw us out. So why not oblige him?"

Asking the group since this was basically a call for them to come out and handle this. The group didn't know how to respond since it would both lead to much destruction and possibly one of them ending up a plant. Harley looking at the screen gripped her fist tightly and noticing the Joker letting off his cackle of how he was mutating people into plant zombies.

"Will be heading into a actual shit storm of the undead and assholes who've we pissed off in the past. Along that will be fighting your plan, the same one I supported you on. Are you sure you want to do this?"

Harley realizing that this seemed like Ivy's plan for Eden, though much more carnage and death. Ivy lowered her head in sadness seeing how it was true, all the past weeks of her working on this plan to make her dream come true was now becoming a night. A nightmare that had to end, even if it meant destroying what she spent so hard working on.

"It was suppose to help everyone, as well brings things back to the way they were. This isn't what I wanted. And it has to be destroyed."

Responding in a sadden tone that even if she could try and get it under control, she could still sense the plant life in plan due to the mutagen that was effecting them. The clown woman merely hugged Ivy seeing how it was going to be trouble in finding a way to stop this, while on the side was Enchantress who decided to takeover seeing how she needed to step into the moment.

"If we're done acting like whimpering heroes. We should act now, as well need armor if you want to avoid getting infected."

The witch stating as she looked at Sy who knew what they needed if they were going out to the city and deal with the zombies. Activating several sequences in the lair, everyone felt the ground suddenly shaking as well descending like a elevator.

"Do we actually have some kind of secret military armory? Do we got a tank?!"

Rocksteady asking excited since growing up with a fondness of joining the army, these sequences would lead to a bunker where it would store a gallery of weapons and gear ready for the war scene. Feeling the ground stop they notice in front of them several custom made suits for them which looked like what action figures would wear.

"Rock? I think I'm busting a nut at how we got our own battle suits."

"Bebop. I already did."

The two mutants saying at the same time of how each of them had modeled after them and how it was based off everyone else. Harley walked over to her battle suit seeing how it kept most of her skin covered to make sure she didn't get hurt.

"You mean to tell me, that we had badass anime looking suits. And we didn't even use them?! Why?"

Shouting angered by out of the times they had been on numerous misadventures and the secrets Enchantress has been keeping from them. This seemed to be the most urgent since they could have used them numerous times, though she got her answer when Sy showed them several blueprints for each of them along how long it take for them to be fully operational. While they could argue which was better, the group decided to suit up and rush to Gotham and stop Shredder's revenge before the city paid for this conflict of theirs.

Gotham City-Night Time

Panic was going across the streets with the plant zombies infecting more people by the second. So far there was no sign of ending along the buildings and streets becoming more consumed by the plants. A small family tripped on one of the vines as they were fleeing away from the zombies, one of them growled towards the three as the father held his wife and son close making sure they didn't see it. However they soon heard a whooshing sound slicing the head off the zombie, taking a look they saw the Dark Knight Batman looking down on them as well giving them his signature glare.

"GCPD is gathering survivors. Go now."

Briefing them about how they could find solitude in which they notice several GCPD officers getting people to safety. As Batman was about to continue searching for any more civilians, he saw a giant bark zombie snarling at him who was about to ambush him.

"Slash stop walking plant!"

Shouting behind the zombie as it was Slash who swung his mace against the zombie having it shattered to pieces. The large turtle smiled at helping the masked man as Batman looked up seeing the others joining him about to report what's been going on.

"We've gotten half of the people to the GCPD. Several neighborhoods have been engulfed by vines and weeds."

Nightwing reporting as he brought out his phone showing the growth of plants growing even further. If this continued then the whole of Gotham would become a undead jungle.

"This has to be the work of Poison Ivy. This has her name written all around it."

Robin thinking about who might be involved in this problem and who should be blamed for. However for Batgirl, this wasn't exactly her type of criminal activity since she hasn't seen her or Harley in a while since the election of Gotham's new mayor.

"It could be someone else, I mean we don't know for sure this was Ivy. There's several more plant based villains, like Floronic man?"

Offering her suggestion about who else could be behind this takeover. While that was up to suggestion they noticed in the air the sounds of rockets coming above them as they prepared for something new. Though coming down in a dramatic entrance was none other than Harley and her crew except Ivy and Enchantress, the clown woman and two mutants landed right onto the ground showing off their new look as well having weaponry to handle the plant zombies.

"Wow. I think the eighties called, they want their old toy accessories back."

Robin making a joke along how the three looked like action figures with to many items on them. Sliding from the side of Rocksteady's pack was Clayface who seemed to not get any weaponry or armor due to him immune to the zombies. The others looked alert and believing that they were behind this, however Batman stopped them noticing how there was a look on Harley's face showing a serious expression.

"Batgirl's right, Ivy's not behind this. Isn't she?"

Questioning her as Harley nodded at how this wasn't her nor Ivy's fault, bringing out her phone she presented him a video screen of zombie plant Joker leading the army across half of Gotham.

"Knowing that undead bastard, he'll want to announce his return. As well show off this damn army of the dead, question is where."

Explaining to Batman and the others how Joker would operate along make his next move due to her knowledge on her old boyfriend. Checking out any events that was happening in Gotham on her phone, Harley found out there apparently was a concert happening at the park.

"Jazzapajizza? That's the same festival that was canceled two years ago after the last plant attack. Ironic don't you think?"

Robin questioning Harley as she merely grumbled about the sly comment that the sidekick made as it seems they realized this was where Joker might do his 'return'. While there seemed to be no time to argue about how was this possible, Batman knew that Harley as hell bent in killing Joker since he was clearly undead.

"Same rules apply Harley, no killing. Though under these circumstances these beings are undead, so take them out. And while handle civilians. No one gets caught in the fight."

Giving her orders about how while he seemed to not trust Harley since she was still the same chaotic clown woman he met long ago. There's was a sense of how she knew how to approach the situation just like when the Parademons came to Gotham. Nodding to the Bat she decided to go first along have her mutants follow as they passed by the other masked teens as they had bigger pests to handle. Nightwing on the side looked to Bruce confused about how he seemed alright letting her handle this.

"What was that about? You usually take her out since she was just like Joker. And what's with the walking warthog and rhino? Other mutants like Slash?"

Questioning his former mentor about this uneasy alliance that Bruce had seemed to form just right in the situation of things. As Batman noticed the confusion on his former ward's face, he hurled a batarang to the side where a zombie was about to try and bite Batgirl. Cutting off the head he caught the batarang seeing how he could focus on answering Dick's question.

"Things change Dick. As well that not everything is black and white anymore, meaning we need to change our views in who's our friend and foe."

Briefing him on how Nightwing was in Bludhaven handling his own crimes and villains, Gotham had seem to have a more broader perspective on villains. Walking forward to the Jazz event, the others followed not knowing that they'd be walking right into a full on zombie mash lead by a resurrected Joker.

Gotham Park-Jazzapajizza

Right at the center of the park was the jazz event being set up sponsored by mayor Saki, in which it has gotten the attention of half the people of Gotham along distracted them from the zombie outbreak. Everyone continued to enjoy the event as well unable to notice the slow growling coming from the shadows. Moving slowly as well the vines from the sides moving against the ground, a unexpecting fan was soon barfed on with black ooze causing him to scream in pain. The people looked at the sudden panic and saw none other than a undead Joker with a snake body as well leaking black ooze from his mouth.

"Sorry there folks, but after lying in the dirt for two years makes a guy feel. Queasy, still. Barf jokes are always funny."

Stating a sadistic remark as he had his arms stretch out having his zombie plant horde coming out of the shadows and attacking the fans. Barfing on the people and turning them into plants, Joker lets out a sadistic laughter of how he missed this entertainment.

"Seriously screaming? Try and fight these zombies, I bet all of you are zombie killing types that have been waiting for a opportunity like this. I mean I know I am since I've played a bit of Plants vs Zombies. Ironic since I'm now both."

Talking to the panic masses as he made his way to the stage with a venomous smile on his face looking at the band. The corrupt vines slowly wrapping themselves across the stage in a effort to trap the band, Joker made his way up on stage to grab the microphone about to make his announcement to the public.

"Hello Jazzapajizza! Might I say this is such a wonderful event, I mean not to express emotions but I was much of a Blue's Brothers fan. Still, it's good to see everyone enjoying their time here."

Starting to talk to the public with his mad charisma as he looked at the plant zombies listening to him and the people still running away in terror. Looking back at the jazz band he smiled seeing how the best way to enjoy the moment was to feast on someone due to his snake like side.

"But every event such as this needs meals and refreshment, and frankly. I've been dying for fresh meat."

His eyes dilating to a reptilian manner as he seemed to eat one of the band members. Dislocating his throat as well about to devour the players, he was quickly shot in the head by a quick bullet which silence the panic. While not all zombie, Joker looked back seeing a surprising sight. His former girlfriend Harley holding a gun in her hand along with her friends plus the Bat family standing side by side in a epic pose.

"Nobody, especially a snaked skin of a shit ex is laying a hand or fan on Joey Q and the Century Fugal Force. Cause that's my wife's favorite band."

Making a statement as the others didn't say anything about the remark as they continued to remain silent to make sure Joker knew they weren't messing around. The snake face clown merely slithered his tongue at them as well lets out a mad laughter of the scene, seeing both his nemesis and partner in crime fighting side by side.

"This is a sight to behold! Both the reasons for my existence, here at the same time. Just in time for my friends to redo Gotham in a more nature themed city. With a hint of old school chaos, but the work has to come from your precious Ivy. Which I promise to visit soon."

Responding to them and bringing up the fact that this was partially Ivy's fault in the matter. On the side of it all was Frank who Joker brought along and still in the container as he was being used like a battery to make sure the outbreak continued. Everyone waited for the moment to strike as the air was only filled with the plant zombies growling at the sight of several new people to feast on.

"Will you fuckers just start fighting and break me out?!"

Frank interrupting the moment as Joker had his plant zombies rush right towards the Bat family and Harley's team as the group made a rush towards the horde. Avoiding them from barfing on each other, the Bat family made sure to dispatch the zombies while finding any survivors amongst the crowd. Clayface was stretching around trying to get innocents out of the fight while making way for Harley and the two mutants to rush at Joker.

"Eat lead snake freak!"

Rocksteady announcing as both he and Bebop unloaded several bullets from their new automatic weapons that were apart of their new armor. They were mowing down the zombie plants to pieces making a way for Harley to fight Joker, rushing at him in anger she pulled right out of her pack a metal bat with spikes. Leaping right over Joker she delivered a clean strike at Joker's head making it spin fully, landing on the stage she looked at Frank seeing how he was still alive.

"I've always questioned about those moves of yours, landing on your feet doing a pose. I mean are you trying to be a hero now?"

Joker questioning the sudden change of how she was wearing new clothing as well seemed to be helped by Batman and half of his team. Twisting his head back to it's normal self he spits out black ooze at her, though her suit was able to protect her from touching her skin. Joker looked confused by this while Harley smiled seeing how the suit was worth the long period of being built.

"No. Just wanted the pleasure of killing you a second time."

Responding back as she rushed at Joker swinging away her bat towards the undead snake plant. The two of them moved quick as well tried to attack one another, however unable to land a blow on each other. Using his tail he tried to coil around Harley and bringing her close, baring his fangs and ready to bite threw her armor. Harley's suit started to use its defenses which involve several sparklers blinding the snake. Moving back he whips his tail at Harley which made her fall to the ground, lunging at her she used her bat to stop Joker from hitting her.

"Seriously you need to take a hint, Gotham is done with you. And has more fucked up villains than you taking the sport light. So got back to the ground!"

Shouting at him as she used her strength to try and push him upwards leaving him to get grappled by Batman. Pulling him away from Harley, he quickly does a side kick sending Joker to the ground. Taking her chance Harley rushed over to Frank's container and quickly breaks him out, freeing him from his restraints the mutant plant felt like a squeezed orange from the machine used him.

"Seriously I'm going need a bit of weed and some lemonade to get over what I've been threw."

The plant said as the zombies and uncontrollable vines were still on the loose and overwhelming the others. Before Harley could suggest Frank could stop the killer plants, the vines grappled onto the two as well hits them to the stage as well Batman in the same trouble. Joker laughed at how he had two of his worst enemies as well the others in his clutches.

"This is truly paradise, my ex girlfriend. My nemesis and his brats, the two moronic animals that knocked out my fangs. And a walking dirt clod, all in all quite the comeback."

Announcing as the creatures kept everyone at bay and waited seeing how he was the only sentient zombie plant that had sentient conscious leaving him to be the one in charge. Bringing Harley over to him and removing her helmet, he showed a sinister smile with his fangs as he was going be the one to mutate her.

"Just know that this is going hurt, really. Really, bad."

Hissing at her as Joker was about to turn her into a zombie plant as everyone tried to break free from the creature's hold on him. Continuing to do so he felt something off, much like the other zombie plants as they looked at the stage seeing a portal opening up which showed none other than Enchantress with her eyes glowing green along looking upset with how things had gotten out of hand.

"Someone wants to see you. And she's pissed off."

Telling Joker as she moved to the side as they saw a figure coming out of her portal. It was Ivy with a new look which seemed to resemble her old look. Wearing a green corset and long sleeves with green shoes, her red hair was more wild with flowers along her eyes glowing green. Looking at everyone as well her friends being ensnared by the vines and Joker, Ivy merely lowered her head as this was going hurt her more than anything.

"Forgive me."

Telling the plants that had been infected by Shredder's experiments along the people as she focused the green within her to let out a powerful wave of plant energy from her. It hit everyone around the park and half of Gotham City as it soon caused the plant zombies to return to their decomposed selves along changing the people make to their normal forms. Joker himself yelled in pain before becoming a corpse again such as Frank becoming his normal plant self, everyone was now free from their killer plants while Ivy. Collapsed onto the ground seeing how it took much of her life to fix everything.

"Holy hell. What happened to Ivy?"

Bebop asking as the villains rushed over to the red head woman noticing her new look and seemed confused about how she was able to do this feat. Seeing how Enchantress was the only one in the group to do a powerful move like that, there had to be something going on when they left them in the base.

"When you left to handle this madness, Stockman and I were able to help Pamela reach her full potential within the green. Sorry for the delay but it was a lot for her to take in, especially her new look. She's still adapting to it."

Enchantress explaining to them as Harley took a moment to look at Ivy seeing how while they have managed to save the day. It came at a cost of her plan being ruined and having destroyed everything she has worked on gone to waste. Looking over at Batman and the others, they noticed Ivy and could guess she was the one behind this.

"Then we should possibly do this at home. Where no one interrupts us."

Making a suggestion as the others noticed the Bat family walking towards them as it seemed they were going be brought in for questioning. Not wasting a second the Enchantress opened a portal right underneath their feet which had them teleported away from the stage and out of the sight of the heroes. Watching them flee, the group took a moment to look around seeing the destruction that was made.

"This makes no sense, from how Ivy looked she seemed against stopping this chaos. Why?"

Batman questioning her motive as well the others as this stumped him about how in the past Ivy would relish a forest haven like this. Except this was a corrupt version revolving death and destruction, looking amongst the bodies that were killed during the attack. One of the staff for the jazz concert had a familiar symbol as well camera, in which force the large turtle to drag over to the team.

"Bad man's goons."

Informing them as he found a interesting tattoo that caught Batgirl and Robin off guard as they recognized it, meanwhile for Batman and Nightwing seemed concern as it was a red foot symbol. Meaning this was planned since on the man's jacket was a hidden camera which was recording the moment, meaning that someone was watching the attack happening. With how things were going, Barbara would have to explain about the new 'mayor' and what his plans are since they would need to be ready for what else he would unleash upon Gotham.
