Cristina was forced to throw Meredith a bachelorette party because according to Izzie every bride should have one and Meredith only agreed if Derek had his bachelor party at Joe's as well.

Izzie insisted Meredith should have more than 2 bridesmaids so here she was with Cristina her maid of honor Lexie, Callie, and Izzie as bridesmaids, and Derek with his best man Mark and his old college friends as groomsmen.

"Mere tomorrow is the big day! How excited are you?" Izzie squealed.

"Izzie stop with the squealing tonight I'm drinking tonight. I need lots of booze in my system. This is my last night as a single woman. I'm going to make the most out of it."

"You don't even need a piece of jewelry or a big fancy wedding to be considered married," Cristina scoffed.

"Are you going to take the Shephard name?" Izzie asked ignoring Cristina's previous comment.

"Meredith Shepherd it almost makes me want to vomit," Cristina added.

"I don't know so shut up and drink," Mere said.

"See that's the attitude I can live with no mothers squealing or crying from the bride," Cristina said. "Let's get drinks we're going to need them."

"Weddings are overrated. 50% of marriages end in divorce," Cristina said.

"But this isn't your wedding," Meredith reminded her.

"So? It doesn't stop me from hating them I didn't even want to be involved in this wedding."

Izzie chimed in, "I want to get married in a spring wedding it would be so romantic and, I have these mints that say mint to be isn't it cute?"

Meredith and Cristina both shook their head before going back to their drinks before George and Alex joined them, "So how's the future Mrs. Shepherd doing?" Alex teased Meredith.

"I'm going to go get more drinks you take care of Evilspawn," Cristina said as she hopped off her stool.

"Hey, sunshine what can I get for you?" Joe asked her.

"Uh, a round of tequila and 2 beers."

Owen who was sitting where Cristina was ordering was watching her every move he knew he had been acting like an ass all week with her. He was trying to remain professional with her after their first encounter.

"Dr. Yang," he acknowledged.

"Oh, crap it's him what's he going to do yell at me for having a drink?"

"Dr. Hunt," she said bitterly.

"You're not on call tonight?" Owen asked avoiding her gaze.

"Well I'm at a bar right now so it looks like I'm not," Cristina said.

"Right stupid question," he mumbled.

"Clearly anyways I'm going back to my table Goodnight Dr. Hunt," Cristina said fleeing as fast as she could out of his sight.

It was the morning of the wedding and Meredith's house was filled with makeup artists and hairstylists. "I look ridiculous Izzie it's worst that I'm already the maid of honor and now I have flowers in my hair why did I agree to this?" Cristina complained.

"You look so pretty you should show off your beautiful curls in a half up half down hairstyle! I'm going to get my makeup done oh I love weddings!" Izzie squealed.

"How come evil spawn isn't upstairs getting all dressy dress?" Cristina joked at Alex.

"Shut it, Yang, we men don't need 5 hours to get ready for a wedding."

Cristina sat down next to Alex with a heavy sigh.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing just tired I barely got any sleep last night," Cristina said.

"Do weddings give you memories of him?" Alex asked referring to Burke.

Cristina scoffed, "Why do you all of the sudden care?"

"Look I'm just asking ok? No big deal," Alex said.

"No I'm fine perfectly ok," Cristina insisted.

"Whatever you say I think he probably had a brain tumor or something for leaving you at the altar like a clean break."

"Well he did leave a towel in a patient once so maybe you're on to something," Cristina mentioned.

"You look so miserable with all the girly stuff on you," Alex laughed.

"You shut up at least I'm hot even when I'm not trying to," She reminded him.

Cristina found Meredith alone in the kitchen all dolled up and looking for a snack, "Big day. Biggest day of your life!"

"Don't do that. Don't do the peppy maid of honor thing. It's creepy."

"Really? Good. Wait, is this like the calm before the storm? Do you need me to drug you or shave off your eyebrows to numb you into submission?"

"No, I think I'm fine, but I still need you to kick my ass down the aisle."

"Fine then just don't chicken out."

"Is this going to be hard for you?" Meredith asked.

"No, why it be? It's your wedding day, not mine."

"I know but I don't want you to be miserable all day."

"Meredith I'm fine you go get married and stop worrying about me I'm fine," Cristina reassured her.

Meredith looked at Cristina," I'm going to hug you now."

"Okay."

"Okay."

"I don't know what to do with my face," Meredith said panicking behind the doors of the Church.

Lexie was beaming at her, "It is so sweet that you're nervous. It's going to be okay," she told her, nodding vigorously.

"Okay..." Meredith said, the same giant fake smile plastered on her face, "Still don't know what to do with my face."

"Don't worry, Mere. Just relax. When you see Derek's face you'll stop thinking about it so much and it will be a natural glow" Izzie said, patting her on the shoulder as they lined up.

"Oh god," was all Meredith managed.

Cristina stood in front of Meredith. She grabbed Meredith's forearm and Meredith responded with a death grip on Cristina's.

"Breath," Cristina said quietly and she heard Meredith exhale, and with it went the insane fake smile. "Just breathe, smile, and kick ass."

The reception was very well decorated thanks to Izzie with sage green bows around the glasses, twinkle lights hung around, and silver sage table cloths with initials for each guest.

Cristina was chatting with Meredith about her new inlaws when a tall handsome guy came up to them, "Meredith hello," he nodded at her and turned to Cristina as Meredith left to go mingle with the other guests, "I just wanted to say you looked great up on the altar."

"Um Thank you?" Cristina slightly smiled.

"Uh I'm Noah one of Derek's frat friends," he said.

"Cristina," she said as her introduction.

"So how do you know Meredith and Derek?" Noah asked curiously as he sat down where Meredith was seated.

"Well, I met them when I started my internship."

"Oh, you're a doctor?" Noah asked.

"Yep surgeon in fact what about you?"

"I'm actually a lawyer."

"A lawyer? Interesting," Cristina said she really wasn't in the mood for small talk," How do you know Derek?"

"Derek and I go way back we used to be college roommates and the bad part of being his roommate was that he was always with some girl in our dorm."

Cristina laughed, "Really? I didn't think Derek was that kind of guy."

"Back then he did anyways are you thirsty? I see the bar is open," Noah suggested.

"Actually yeah can you get me some Tequila?"

"Sure," Noah said as he got up and headed towards the Bar.

"So how do you like the wedding so far?" Cristina asked Meredith.

"It's not as bad as I thought it would be but these heels are killing my feet."

"How's my favorite Bride doing?" Derek asked as he kissed Meredith.

"Get a room please," Cristina complained while rolling her eyes.

Derek turned to Cristina, "Where is Noah taking you this weekend?"

"What?" Cristina said confused.

"Crap he hasn't asked you out yet forget I said anything," Derek said as he walked away from their table.

Cristina turned to Meredith having a feeling she was involved in this as well, "You put Derek up to this didn't you?"

Meredith knew she couldn't lie to her person, "Ok fine I did only because you're slowly becoming that guy from psych all lonely and depressed who had given up on their social life you're really starting to creep me out!"

"Yes, Meredith I have given up! There aren't any decent men in the world anymore Burke left but whatever it's their loss I'm hot as hell."

"You sure are," Alex said as he stuffed himself with a pastry.

Cristina smacked Alex's arm and gave him a mean glare.

"Forget l said that. Pretend like I'm not here. Continue."

"Why are you here? Go back to where you came from and go find some chicks to go screw," Cristina suggested.

"I'm free so I'm here to listen to your crap and I'll find a chick later your crap sounds much more interesting."

"She just needs someone who can tolerate her," Meredith continued.

"Or maybe you'll die alone," Alex laughed as he stuffed his face.

"Alex shut up! if you're going to be like that then go away," Meredith hissed at him.

"Fine one day you'll meet a decent guy and you'll be a freakin princess," Alex said.

"Whatever all men are complete bastards."

"I would've kicked beaten up burke for you if he hadn't left even though he was my boss but you're my friend which means I care about you. He was a complete loser anyways I don't even know what you saw in him," Alex admitted.

"Who knew that evil spawn would turn into Angel spawn all soft and mushy," Cristina said.

"Speaking of that I think Alex has a thing for one of the interns," Meredith laughed.

Cristina started to laugh with her while Alex got up and left the table.

Richard spotted Cristina munching on some chocolate-covered strawberries and decided to join her for some company while Adele was in the powder room, "Cristina, how are you doing?"

"Fine chief do you need something?"

"Oh no," Richard laughed as he took a seat next to her, "I'm just waiting for Adele to be out of the lady's room."

Cristina smiled and nodded while continuing to munch on her dessert.

"There you are, Richard!" Adele said as she spotted Cristina next to Richard.

"Oh, Cristina look at you! How are you doing dear?"

"I'm doing fine Mrs. Webber," Cristina slightly smiled.

"Oh, no more of that feel free to call me Adele. Richard has told me you've finished your residency?"

"Yes I'm going to take my boards next week and then I'll have to start teaching dumb interns."

Richard glared at Cristina.

"No offense Chief," Cristina stammered.

"Call him Richard," Adele said as she looked at her husband.

"Adele," Richard mumbled.

"Richard I've heard you call Cristina by her first name which gives her permission to do so with yours."

"Fine," Richard mumbled.

"I have a friend that has a son who's about your age very handsome I should say, "Adele said while looking at Cristina.

"Adele," Richard laughed nervously.

"Nonsense Richard! She's young she should have someone."

"I um actually just remembered Meredith asked me to bring her a drink," Cristina lied as she got up, "Excuse me."

Cristina was sick and tired of everyone trying to pry into her social life damn Burke. Damn him. He was the one who got her into this mess in the first place. Why couldn't people accept that she's not dating anytime soon? That she's fine by herself. Cristina knew what she needed which was a bottle of vodka and music to dance it out to clear her mind.
